Delicious!

We had such a positive experience working with B. Lin Catering for our wedding. Arin helped us build a delicious Italian-style menu, even coming up with creative substitutions when we wanted to change things up. Natalie took over when things got closer to the big day, and she helped us make sure that all of the final details were covered. Our guests LOVED the food (and we loved the leftovers!). The waitstaff were excellent and things were executed well. The only drawback was the rental situation (a partnership with DC Rental). The styles available in their inventory were somewhat limited compared to other catering companies and rental companies. We didn't want to deal with adding another vendor if we didn't have to, so we tried to make it work with the available styles. Within a week of the wedding, we learned they didn't have the correct number of tablecloths in the colors we had chosen months earlier, so we had to choose replacements sight unseen that ultimately didn't really match the color palette. It was a small thing, but avoidable if the rental company had done the math earlier to give us time to select better options. Just something to be aware of, if rentals are a priority. The food, service, and value were excellent!

Thanks B Lin!

We worked with B. Lin to cater for our wedding and we could not have been happier! Arin and Andrea were absolutely wonderful - they were timely and responsive, as well as incredibly helpful with planning and coordinating the individual dishes for appetizers and dinner. They worked seamlessly with our other vendors and our event space. They have a wonderful selection of menu items that go beyond your typical wedding dinner - we had a ribeye with yucca and plantains, a butternut squash risotto with fried sage, and citrus salmon with cauliflower puree - all incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked! Everyone at our wedding raved about the food afterwards- our only regret from our wedding day was that being the bride & groom meant we didn’t have as much time to eat as everyone else! The most special part for us was that B. Lin was excited to help us plan out and prepare custom hors-d’oeuvres that were representative of meals that we had shared together on vacations over the years, adding a unique and personal touch to our wedding.
Our venue allowed us to provide our own alcohol, but B Lin worked a great bar service- we sent our signature drink recipes over a few days before and they were exactly what we wanted, and all the bartenders were super efficient - the staff in general was amazing, speedy, and kept everyone happy the whole night. Highly recommend B Lin Catering!!

B.Lin is the type of catering that wedding guest want!

My husband and I consider ourselves foodies, and we didn't want the "stereotypical" catering we've experienced at other weddings. B.Lin checked those boxes and more to provide delicious, unique Asian cultural flavors. We had guests say this was the kind of food they actually wanted, and we witnessed our guests getting seconds! I honestly don't think I can recall any other wedding where guests went to the buffet to get seconds. Thank you, B.Lin, for your communication and professionalism from the tasting, choosing linens/plates, and actual execution day. You made our special day more special by showing our love through our love of food :)

Amazing experience

My husband and I are an interracial couple and finding ways to integrate both of our cultures in our wedding was important for us. We tried to seek a caterer that could offer more authentic Asian and Latin cuisine. I was absolutely thrilled when I found Blin Catering offered both and happy that I can support an Asian-owned business. Blin Catering was the first vendor I chose and then I focused my venue search based on who had them as a preferred vendor or no preferred vendor requirement. I was very happy that we were also able to customize our menu and that Blin Catering was able to accommodate my request to create an off the menu special plated option for our guests. They had so many appetizers that sounded so delicious we had a lot of trouble narrowing down our choices. In the end, we picked 6 appetizers and 3 plated dinner options, and all of our guests raved about the food. So delicious!!! I was assigned to work with Katie who was wonderful with communicating, coordinating, and providing recommendations. All the staff on the day of the wedding were amazing and sweet and executed everything well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for Asian/Latin cuisine for their wedding but honestly think they excel in all cuisines.

Flexible Menu and Great Price

We were trying to have a menu that was a bit eclectic and provide a taste of the cuisines we enjoyed while simultaneously being considerate for some our guests whom are less adventurous. B. Lin provided a perfect balance and to be honest we got more food and better linens and plates than we expected! Plus their service staff were attentive and professional. Nothing but great things to be said about our experience.

Best wedding food ever!

It has been a dream to work with B. Lin for our wedding. We started the process in 2019 for a 2020 wedding. Ben prepared our tasting for us, and was able to adjust the menu so that all of our guests would enjoy it, not just those who like spice. We went with the Big Easy Bar which was a huge hit with all of our guests. My only regret is that I didn't get a second plate! The hour d'oeuvres were amazing as well. Truly, the food was one of the highlights for us and our guests.

But perhaps more importantly, B. Lin was super flexible as well all navigated the uncertainty of a 2020 and then summer 2021 wedding. They allowed us to have flexible deadlines and move numbers and dates around as needed. Our event planner, Katie, was perfect. She helped us make last minute adjustments and stepped up to help out above and beyond her contracted duties with a group of vendors who hadn't done a wedding at our venue before. For any event in the future, B. Lin will be our first call. Thanks for making our day perfect!

Incredible food for an amazing value

B.Lin provided the catering for our wedding and it was fantastic. We had passed hors d'oeuvres and a plated dinner and every single dish was delicious - our guests are still raving! The value was also great, and we really enjoyed working with Krista then Katie - they took care of every single detail so that we could enjoy our event.

Highly recommend!

We looked all over wedding sites to find a caterer - immediately we were drawn to B.Lin and their food options. We only went to one tasting and that was with B.Lin, we then decided that we didn't need to try anyone else. The food was so good at the tasting and was so good on our wedding day!

Working with B.Lin was amazing! We worked with Katie and have nothing but good things to say. We aren't from the area and also with the pandemic, doing the tasting and planning other catering things should have been difficult. However, Katie was super accommodating with our schedule and so the whole planning process was easy! With all the changes that had to be made due to the pandemic, Katie was always responsive and supportive towards our edits. We highly recommend B.Lin!

Amazing Custom Menu

B. Lin was fantastic at working with us to make amazing food that combined our Israeli and Filipino food traditions for our wedding. They clearly spent a great deal of time researching the right dishes that celebrated the flavors of our cultures, resulting in a menu that reflected us as a couple. The food was remarkable, there were definitely no airline chicken breasts or mushy steamed vegetables involved. Even though many of the ethnic dishes they prepared were new to them, we were impressed at how authentic they tasted. Don’t tell our family, but some of the recipes were better than our families’ cooking (their kare kare was fantastic). They were open to feedback and helped us work within our budget. We will definitely be coming back to B. Lin.

So so tasty!

Our guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres! We chose a brunch buffet to go along with our morning wedding. The food was great! Many options for dietary constraints. We're so thankful to all the B.Lin Catering staff and Krista. Krista was very responsive, patient with my indecisiveness, and helped so much with all the rentals. All the staff were so kind, friendly, and helpful on the day of! If in the future we are planning a big event with catering, we'd love to go with B.Lin again. (Wahoowa!)

Delicious food and even better service

Fresh & delicious, a feast for the eyes as well as the belly

B-Lin Catering was a huge part of the success of our recent Summer live pitch event for the Awesome Foundation DC. They provided amazingly food, expertly prepared, and packaged for traveling to the event, which was a huge hit to our 60+ super satisfied guests. There were many delicious items including grilled pita and roasted garlic hummus (the first thing to be fully devoured by our folks), tzatziki, htipiti (roasted red pepper & feta dip), spicy feta dip, marinated olives, roasted red peppers, and grilled artichoke hearts. Everything was fresh and delicious, and a feast for the eyes as well as the belly. The fruit platter and the cookies (white chocolate macadamia nuts, yum) were equally superlative and a great compliment to the spread. They were a delight to work with and we would recommend them to others looking for amazing service and high-quality, delicious, food.

Highly recommend for great food at a fair price!

I got quotes from about 15 other caterers in DC, all of which were more than $100/per guest for even the most basic option. I realized that I couldn’t remember a single thing I’d eaten at a wedding with a menu like this. B. Lin’s quote was by far the most affordable of any of the preferred caterers for our venue. They were transparent with a line by line breakdown of what every single thing costs, which allowed us to make it work well with our budget. B. Lin also has a really creative menu, and we were excited to be able to pick fun food options. The tasting was great, and the few items we didn’t like were tweaked and hand-delivered to my house so I could taste and approve those items. Roya quickly responded to and handled hundreds of logistics in the months leading up the wedding and was well-prepared to make sure everything ran smoothly. We received so many compliments from guests about the food. They couldn’t believe the quality and loved the creative options.

Nothing short of amazing!

B.Lin was an amazing caterer for our wedding in VA in June 2019. Ben and Krista were so responsive to our requests and really listened to us when personalizing the food to meet our tastes. They certainly went beyond the call of duty on several occasions. We are avid foodies and their menu selection and cuisine did not disappoint. Everyone commented how great the food was, and several guests told us that it was the best wedding meal they've ever had! Their service was also first-rate, with superb attention to detail and wonderful professionalism. With so many vendors to manage, with B. Lin we did not have to worry about a thing. They were just fun, wonderful people to work with! We could not have asked for a better caterer for our special day and highly recommend them for any wedding or catering event!

B.Lin catering is a 10 out of 5. My wife and I started out our wedding process saying we did not want the usual wedding food at our wedding. We wanted something unique and something very flavorful. B.Lin over-delivered on what we were looking for in a caterer. The food was uniquely different and it was amazing!!! The entire team was so flexible to our requests and helpful at every turn. Amazing fusion menu

B-Lin catering blew our minds (and taste buds) away! As my wife and I were going for a fusion wedding, we were hoping to have a menu that was less run-of-the-mill and incorporate a blend of Asian cuisine and good old fashioned southern cooking. B-Lin blew all the competition away and was among one of the more affordable caterers, making them a huge bang for your buck.

On the day of the wedding, our guests couldn’t stop raving about how great the food was. The menu was creative, the food was flavorful and the service was top notch. I cannot recommend B-Lin highly enough.

Excellent Attention to Detail

What an incredible experience we had using B. Lin Catering for our wedding in Alexandria, Virginia on 12/1/2018! Event coordinator Arin made the process incredibly easy, stress free, flexible, & professional. Since my parents were helping plan from another state (CA.), they were not able to meet in person but Arin made up for that with her quick replies to emails and phone calls to them and excellent attention to detail. As countless changes were made and discussed, she always helped us feel at ease and confident that her company would implement things just as we wanted, and did they ever! Food was beyond amazing, delicious, fresh, & beautifully presented. The 200 guests raved what a great meal it was! Staff was attentive, professional, helpful, & very flexible with changing things onsite as the need arose. They truly made our wedding the special event we had dreamed of. We would truly recommend B.Lin Catering for all your events, especially weddings!

B. Lin has a reputation as being one of the premier catering vendors in the DC area - and they absolutely lived up to that reputation!!! I know we are biased, but the food at our wedding was the best!!!! We knew at our pre-wedding tasting that the food would be delicious, but Kailyn, our coordinator from B Lin, did an outstanding job of helping us plan and orchestrate the catering throughout the cocktail hour, dinner, and coffee/dessert - making our special day one to remember!!! Kailyn even provided input for our wedding's floorplan, event sequence, and transition throughout the evening.

Additionally, B Lin allows you to purchase your own liquor which can save quite a bit of money, and their bartenders and servers are top-notch!

We highly recommend B Lin for those who want great food, attention to detail, and seamless transition throughout your night! Great job!!!

I would highly recommend B. Lin Catering to anyone getting married. We LOVED working with them. Kailyn was our main contact, and she was endlessly helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. We did two very different styles of food stations, and all the food was excellent. I received a ton of compliments from guests about the food. They went so far as to help us plan our table arrangements and seating numbers. They helped us set up and break down everything quickly and painlessly. I really believe this was one of the best vendors I chose, as they made the whole process so much easier. They are also affordable and the quality of the food was above and beyond what I usually see at weddings.

We had the pleasure of working with B.Lin for our 250 guest DC wedding and it was truly amazing. We are so happy we were able to work with Arin and her fantastic team. From the beginning, Arin made the whole process easy and stress-free. She was extremely responsive and attentive....her hard work and dedication allowed us to create our dream wedding.

After our tasting, we could not wait until the big day when we could eat B.Lin's food again. The appetizers were unbelievable- especially those chicken sliders. The stations were perfect and extremely tasty. Then came dinner which was absolutely delicious and the deserts were a dream. During the wedding, Arin & her team made everything move so smoothly- no detail was missed. From the salads to main course to specialty drinks, it all was perfectly done and exceptional. Our guest continued to compliment the food & drinks for weeks after the wedding.

B. Lin recently catered our daughter's wedding. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They were very flexible, allowing us to offer the choice of 4 entrees and agreeing to make some changes to sides based on our preferences. When we made a few changes after the initial tasting, they allowed us to do another tasting to make sure the food was to our liking. They were very helpful in making menu suggestions to ensure the best food for our setting. All the food was delicious and even simple things like chicken sate skewers were both flavorful and moist as they use thigh meat. Service of diner was very efficient and food was perfect! They are particularly good at taking some standards and elevating them so they are different from what you usually get; the ginger salmon and coconut rice is perfect example. We also served sliders and brownie bites at late nice snacks and everyone loved them! The wedding coordinator we worked with (Kailyn) was very knowledgeable and super responsive; she even helped us select some unique linen touches for cake and card/gift tables that added to the overall look without blowing the budget. They also allowed us to purchase and provide the alcohol which also helped us stay in budget. The staff at the event were all very professional and kind to our guests. After looking at other caterers, we feel we got high quality food for an excellent price. We got numerous compliments on the food with folks raving about the quality, taste and unique touches. We highly recommend B. Lin!

The tl;dr version is this: hire them immediately.

We picked B.Lin to cater our 155 guest wedding in April 2018, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. They are amazing. At a wedding, by far the most heavy lifting (both literally as well as figuratively) will be done by your caterer, so it is extremely important to have someone you have utter and total confidence in. Catering is a high-touch, high-maintenance business. It’s not easy, but extremely hard and demanding work. B.Lin delivered on all fronts - they went above and beyond the call of duty and helped make our day the best.

Where do I begin? During our more than year-long planning process, we worked closely with Arin, who is the definition of an operational rockstar. I cannot even begin to count the number of emails we sent to Arin leading up to our big day. She would always get back to us in an extremely timely and helpful manner. To think that Arin organizes dozens or maybe even hundreds of events every year blows my mind - because you simply wouldn’t be able to tell. She has a fantastic attitude at all times. She makes you feel as if you are her only client. And I don’t know if she ever sleeps.

We must have gotten quotes from about a half dozen catering companies, and B.Lin was a ~20% better value.

On the day of the wedding, everything went seamlessly. The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. Drinks were promptly refilled and there were no lines at the bar. Guests raved about their meals as well as the friendly service. And the cherry on top of it all was that we heard from our day-of coordinator the next day that B.Lin had helped her load some of our decorations into her van at the end of the night, which they were not required to do. It was not their job to do it, but they did it anyway. That, to me, is the definition of a class act. Just wow. We will forever be grateful for the amazing job B.Lin did for us, and wish them all the best and continued success in the future.

We had a terrific time working with B.Lin Catering and were so happy with how our wedding turned out. Guests really enjoyed our buffet bars (Mediterranean bar and Slider bar) and the butternut squash wontons were a fabulous hit. We worked with both Arin and Vanessa, who were calm, cool and collected.

They are a small company, so approach their clients and events with heart. We've been trying to offer them constructive feedback about things to improve, but it's hard to have anything really stand-out.

The food, the service, the attentiveness. You will be very happy with your wedding if you select B.Lin!

We used B.Lin Catering for our 105-person wedding in Washington, DC, in September 2016. The team was incredibly helpful and patient in working with us to develop a custom menu for our special day. They flawlessly executed a 4-course family-style meal, with an assortment of dishes in each course. We still get friends and family 1.5 years later raving about the food at our wedding. Our day-of coordinator also had only great things to say about working with the B.Lin team. I worked with Kailyn at B. Lin and she was fantastic! She was extremely responsive and always helped come up with creative ways to execute my ideas. The prices for B. Lin are very reasonable and I got great feedback from my guests about the food. The menu was expansive and customizable. I went with the package price for the bar and it was worth it! I did not have to worry about running out of anything and the price point was affordable. I would definitely recommend B. Lin for your wedding or event!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with B Lin. So many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the hors d'oeuvres and dinner and I couldn't agree more! Food was a huge priority for us when planning our wedding and B Lin delivered with a tremendously delicious evening.

They were incredibly helpful during the planning process as well. Arin was our coordinator and she provided cost-saving advice and went above and beyond to finalize everything with us a week in advance of the wedding which left my husband and I free to really enjoy the time with our friends and family.

This team is by FAR the best catering company in DC. I used their services for over a year to cater business events - lunch and dinner buffets, cocktail hours, breakfasts, etc. and always had the best experience for such a great price. Try the Singapore Noodle Bar, you won't be disappointed!

PLANNING:
When it was time to book a caterer for my wedding B.Lin was an obvious choice for me. We began the conversation 10 months before the wedding and from day 1, Kailyn was incredibly responsive and helpful. We started with full services from B.Lin (apps and plated dinner) but about halfway through the process my husband and I decided that we wanted to serve a traditional Persian family-style dinner from another caterer but still use the rest of B.Lin's services. I've worked in events for years and know this type of request is often met with annoyance (understandably) but Kailyn and her team didn't even blink. They were gracious and were proactive in working with the Persian caterer to ensure all of our visions came to life.

EXECUTION:
The B.Lin team took care of all equipment deliveries and set up, and everything was absolutely perfect as the ceremony began. The food for cocktail hour was unbelievably good (butternut squash wontons! still dreaming about them) and what is more impressive to me is the quality of service staff as social events are more often than not staffed by underwhelming, half-way-there teams. This team, from the servers to the bartenders to Kailyn who were on site for nearly 10 hours, was IMPRESSIVE and incredibly gracious to our guests. They were able to flip a ballroom from our ceremony to a full seated dinner for 175 in an hour and didn't miss a beat. They brought my husband and I a platter of cocktail food and cocktails to enjoy in peace as we snuck away for a few minutes between our ceremony and greeting our guests. And then they brought out our late night snacks to send guests home with a little something to balance the open bar. SO GOOD!

Getting married in the DC area? Want a stress-free but oh-so-luxurious catering experience? You MUST MUST MUST use B.Lin - they are SO amazing to work with and I am absolutely looking for reasons to work with them again, business or otherwise!

Arin is AMAZING at her job - incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond with us, as we both have dairy allergies, to make sure that we had a menu that met those needs but was also 100% tasty. Our menu covered everyone on our guest list, from vegans to dairy-free to wheat intolerance. We had several passed apps then did 3 serving stations - it worked out perfectly!! The B.Lin staff was so professional, helpful, and A+++ - our guests RAVED about the food and all the staff. Months later, our friends and family are STILL talking about how this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Food is everything!! There is not one thing I would change about the menu we chose, everything was delicious.

I cannot recommend B.Lin enough - if there were 10 stars, I would give them 10. Look no further, book B.Lin immediately while you still can.

B.Lin was FANTASTIC. Seriously, I was so glad we chose them for our caterer. Julie Taguding was our event manager and was completely wonderful - super detail-oriented, very responsive, very willing to work with us, and very willing to answer all our questions. She handled our desserts and table/chair/linen/diningware rentals, which were all done through other vendors, and B.Lin also provided our bartenders. Our guests loved the food, and to top it off they were the most competitively priced of all caterers we contacted. We could not recommend them more highly! There were 2 tiny things that were different from what we had planned, but honestly neither of them were that much of a problem: for some reason, there were no knives on the tables (perhaps a rental company issue, though), and they poured a champagne toast for our guests despite us explicitly saying we didn't want one. But, neither of those were real problems and we absolutely loved working with them.

B. Lin is AMAZING!! They were wonderful the whole way through. At the tasting, Arin and Ben were organized, friendly, and laid-back, and the food was absolutely incredible. In the months before the wedding, there were lots of details and last-minute changes and Arin did an excellent job staying on top of everything! They were also super super flexible - we changed the entire location of the cocktail hour at the last minute and they just made it work, no questions asked. Truly, they never missed a single detail. The food was just as delicious at the event as it was at the tasting and many guests told me the food was incredible. HIGHLY recommend!!

If you are looking for really amazing and exciting food for your wedding, talk to B.Lin. We cannot say enough good things about them. Ben @ B.Lin takes incredible pride in his work and it showed in every dish he cooked. He was onsite with his cooks and staff making sure each plate came out perfectly. All the food was perfectly cooked, the catering staff was absolutely amazing and the bartender kept all the guests entertained and with full glasses. We received lots of compliments about how good the food was and also about how fun the bartender was.

Our wedding threw some curveballs to the staff, including four days of rain beforehand, bad traffic and muddy ground (in part because of our bad tent company). Kailyn, our catering-captain and her wait staff dealt with the circumstances without missing a beat. They came early, wore special shoes to deal with the mud, and helped make sure everyone was safe. The service complimented the excellent food. I was also thrilled that the wait staff did not wear the hokey tuxedo uniform most caterers do. The service felt like the hospitality and warmth you get at a fine dining restaurant.

B.Lin was incredibly easy to work with from the beginning. They organized a lot of the rental equipment, were incredibly helpful when we were thinking through the menu and were very receptive to feedback during the tasting. We also were incredibly impressed with the value. B.Lin provides great value and does not make you feel like you are overpaying just because its a wedding.

We really loved B.Lin and they helped make our day incredibly special. If only they had a restaurant, because that would be where we would spend our anniversary.

We had the opportunity to work with Ben and Arin for our wedding in DC in March 2015. The food and service were superb! Our guests raved about the food throughout the event and after (in some cases a whole year later!). Ben's cooking is truly inspired.

We reached out to several other caterers but felt that the menu options they provided did not capture the feel we wanted with our food (comfort foods to match a laid-back, fun, family reunion vibe at the reception). Once Ben heard what we wanted, he set out to craft a custom menu.

Both Ben and Arin were available via email throughout the process, answering our many questions as we settled on the menu. Arin in particular was incredibly responsive and organized and went out of her way to meet our requests. As an example, she helped procure stands and trays for our dessert display (which was provided by another vendor) and the B. Lin team assisted with the dessert set-up during the event.

Ben, Arin and their staff provided superior service at the wedding. It was their first time catering an event at that particular venue, but you would not have known it, as everything went smoothly. Arin and the B Lin staff also did a great job collaborating with our wedding coordinator and her team.

Overall, I highly recommend you consider B. Lin Catering for your wedding. You'll get a customized, thoughtfully crafted menu, delicious food and top-notch service, all at a reasonable price.

We used B.Lin Catering for our wedding in October 2015. My husband, mother-in-law and I did a sample tasting with Ben and Arin and it took about 10 minutes to realize we loved them. (They impressed the MIL! Even gave her a whole cassava (?)) We chose to do a family style dinner and the food was amazing! We still have people tell us how good our food was, now a year and a half later.

Arin is absolutely the best at customer service, making you feel comfortable, and helping you brainstorm ideas and alternatives to match your budget. We did our menu and rentals a few times over and each time she was pleasant and accommodating. For those of you planning a wedding you know how invaluable that is! B.Lin catered our 150-guest wedding in September 2015, and did a stellar job from beginning to end. I can't say enough about how professional and thoughtful they were, from working with us patiently to fit within our budget (even sending us suggestions for websites so we could buy our own linens, which turned out to be more economical than renting them!), to holding two tastings for us so we could refine the menu, to packing up all the leftover food without being asked, so friends and relatives could take it home. Not to mention the most important thing - the food was delicious!! We opted for a Peking duck carving station, and I am picky about that particular dish, but they did it perfectly. (The one hiccup was that it took a while to get all the guests through the buffet line, but that was our fault for not taking their suggestion that they pre-wrap the duck in the pancakes.) And the bulgogi quesadillas in particular had my friends swooning. Also, though we didn't have them at the wedding, their pork belly baos were what initially got us hooked - we happened to try them at a stand Ben set up at the Funk Parade on U St. in May, and they were so good I started chatting with the guy who was making them. I'm so glad I did. Ben and Maggie, our chief coordinator, were so wonderful to work with and really went above and beyond - I'd recommend them to anyone.

We had the most wonderful experience with B. Lin as our wedding caterer. We wanted our food to be the thing that people remembered, and it is! From the start, Arin was great to work with, very responsive and helpful. We looked to their menu ideas and worked with them on some of our own ideas and changes, they were very open. The tasting was awesome and sealed the deal on working with them. Not only was the food delicious, they stayed with us and asked a lot of questions, took notes and feedback during the tasting, and made changes to the final menu. They dealt with all the rentals, and also gave suggestions and researched options. As I had questions or new ideas or changes, Arin was quick to respond, share her thoughts and make adjustments. We did a walk-through of the space together and Arin asked a lot of questions of the venue that I wouldn't have thought of. The day of, the team onsite was professional and friendly, everything ran smoothly, and it was all beautiful and delicious. I'm looking for an excuse to have another party so we can work together again!

From the moment I began emailing back and forth with Arin I knew we had found something very special. She was SO kind and easy to work with. I ask a million questions and always change my mind and she didn't ever miss a beat.

When we went in for the tasting, Arin and Ben were just as sweet as we expected. They gave us SO MUCH food - it was amazing. The food at the tasting was prepared exactly as it would be for the wedding, which we really appreciated so that we knew exactly what to expect.

In the weeks leading up to the wedding she was responsive in answering any questions we had about final floorplans or numbers and made us feel very prepared. She even helped find rainbow sherbet for us as a final course!

The food at the wedding was PERFECT. We received numerous compliments throughout the night and after the fact. The service was just as wonderful as the food - never an empty wine or water glass on a table! They were all very professional and attentive.

We cannot overstate how important it is that you choose B.Lin to caterer your wedding. My husband and I have had the privilege of traveling all over the world and enjoying some incredible meals. As such, when it came to pick someone to caterer our wedding, we were understandably picky. From day one, B. Lin knocked it out of the park.

Arin, the catering manager, was incredibly responsive and really listened when described what we wanted. She also helped us to arrange almost all the rentals for the evening, which was a sizable task since we had our roughly 80 person wedding at a private residence where everything needed to be brought in. She was patient and upbeat throughout the entire process, and always looked out for our best interest. She was proactive in solving problems, like when the rental company needed to change some linens last minute, and worked well with our other vendors.

Ben did not offer us a cookie cutter menu like some other companies but instead provided a menu reflective of our tastes. What we ended up with was high quality, affordable, and utterly delicious. Our guests raved about the food not only during the wedding, but in the days after. The crab cakes, mini chicken and waffles, and beef short ribs were especially big hits. We could have not been more pleased with how everything turned out. We were especially surprised and delighted to find that a plate of appetizers had been put aside for us before we joined our guests for cocktail hour so that we could have a bite before we got caught up talking to friends and family. It was one of the many thoughtful touches that made working with the team at B.Lin an absolute pleasure.

The waitstaff and bartenders during the event were also incredibly professional and personable, and did a great job making sure things ran smoothly. All in all, the team at B.Lin was incredible from start from finish. Hire them today!

My husband and I used B Lin for our 120-person wedding at the Carnegie Institute in Washington, DC. They did a PHENOMENAL job. When we started our wedding planning, my husband and I were turned off by the wedding/industrial complex of vendors and also recalled having lots of steak and salmon entrees at weddings that were nothing to write home about. We wanted good food that he and I would enjoy eating on our most special of days at what we felt were more reasonable costs that some of the larger caterers that had more mediocre-looking dishes. Fortunately, our wedding planner (Candy & Co) had worked with B Lin and strongly recommended them. Ben (the owner/chef) and Arin (the coordinator/business manager) were fantastic to work with. Professional, responsive to feedback, flexible with changes, and fun. The food was absolutely delicious. (For appetizers, we had the butternut squash wontons (TO. DIE. FOR.), Moroccan lamb kabob bites, and chicken satay skewers. For entrees, we had miso cod, wild mushroom risotto (you will want to fake vegetarianism for this, it is that good), and cajun chicken.) The service was impeccable. (I don't recall ever even seeing the catering staff move chairs from the ceremony to the reception room, but it happened!) And multiple people commented on how cool the bartenders were. I have absolutely no doubt this growing company is on its way to becoming one of DC's most sought-after caterers because of its good, honest food and people-first orientation.

We used B.Lin for our 115 guest wedding and they were, to say the least, absolutely stellar!

We've been privileged enough to have sampled their dishes many a time before hiring them for the wedding, so knew without a doubt that the food was going to be just amazing. Absolutely no question, everything they make is delicious. Our friends and guests are still talking about how great the food was, 3 weeks later!

In working with Ben, Maggie and team for our wedding, we were blown away by how friendly, patient and easy going B.Lin's team was. We we got our first draft invoice from Maggie, we were at about 160 guests. Maggie patiently worked through about 7 iterations of our menu/invoice as our guest count fluctuated in the months leading up to the wedding. She never missed a beat and was so pleasant to work with- detailed oriented and professional. Both Ben and Maggie were knowledgeable and full of advice when it came to putting on an event, we were so appreciative for their expertise.

I wouldn't hesitate to hire B.Lin for another event again, big or small, and would recommend them to all my friends and family!

I reached out to B.Lin Catering for my wedding that is coming up in September. My fiance and I wanted a higher quality of food without paying $$$$$ like most DC caterers require (and who doesn't?!). And, we thought supporting a growing business would be an added plus. Ben had killer reviews on Yelp for his corporate events and supper clubs, so we thought - why not? I can honestly say that B.Lin exceeded all my expectations. First and foremost, Ben (chef, owner) and Arin (coordinator) are two of the nicest people I've ever met. It's obvious that Ben loves his craft and is open and flexible to adjusting the menu to how you envision. Arin was the most organized catering coordinator I've ever worked with (I have 5+ years of event planning experience, so I've seen a lot), her proposals were extremely detailed and always incorporated my (many) changes.

They also offered a tasting for two, free of charge, before signing the contract. To be fair, this is a great move since they're still establishing themselves, and also proves just how good their food is. Their lamb kabobs were to die for (I don't even like lamb, this was a dish for my fiance - and I LOVED it! The lamb was super tender), their grilled pita platter and dips were amazing (I don't like hummus either - another one for the fiance - and it was the FIRST hummus I've ever loved), their mac & cheese was delicious (but has some heat to it), and their buttermilk fried chicken was perfectly fried and I knew would be a big hit with the kids attending our wedding. Honorable mention: the crab cakes were all lump crab, and you got a LOT of crab. They did not gip you with the crab meat, they were delicious and you got way more than what you paid for. Unfortunately, we ended up going with another caterer, but I would hire Ben in a heartbeat. When we let him know that we had chosen another caterer, his response wasn't just professional - it was even understanding and supportive. A+++

Great experience

We researched a few other caterers and BLin immediately stood out as the best option for our wedding. They provide a great value for what you get, the food was great quality. We worked with Kristina through the whole set up process, and she was AWESOME. Super responsive, professional, and we handled most of our exchanges over email which I appreciated as someone who worked full time through the wedding planning process. I'm only docking one star for professionalism as last minute, Blin assigned us a different wedding coordinator as Kristina could not longer attend on the day of. Given the new coordinator wasn't as familiar with all the details, our wedding dinner service was about 45 minutes behind schedule. Not ideal but overall still great experience with BLin and would hire again.

Our Oxon Hill Wedding

Kristina was very professional and responsive throughout our contact with her. She was very flexible and allowed us to be creative with our wants and needs. Delicious, soulful food and great service

From the tasting onward B. Lin was excellent. Ben (the owner) served us himself and took our feedback well. Katie worked with us through a bunch of revisions so that we could get the menu and decorations perfect for our wedding. The food was DELICIOUS - exactly what we wanted. Our guests (especially those who are good cooks!) all agreed. The only thing that could have been a little better was the rush to finalize the details at the end. I didn't get the final detailed invoice and plan until less than a week before the wedding, and the cost was a little higher than we expected. I think if we'd had more time we could have sorted out the details better. But overall, we loved working with them. The food was exactly as we expected and our guest really enjoyed it!

B.Lin made our wedding feel so high end!

B.Lin did a wonderful job! We weren't trying to have a big sit down dinner, but we wanted our guests to enjoy the food and open bar. Being the bride and groom we didn't get to enjoy their great food enough, but our guests were fully satisfied! No one was expecting servers handing out food on platters all night, and were so excited to be handed treats even on the dance floor! They were VERY flexible and met every one of our requests (even the odd, non traditional ones. The best part was that it was budget friendly for us. We would recommend them to anyone!

Incredible and customized food!

Incorporating Asian elements into our menu was incredibly important to me and B. Lin hit the spot! The Asian elements were infused in perfectly since we also wanted to make sure it worked with the rest of our more traditional dinner menu has a whole, and B. Lin was very accommodating in making tweaks when we did our tasting. We also appreciated the care they took when it came to our linen and rental choices in ensuring we were looking at the options that would keep us close to our budget. We wanted our wedding to look and feel fun, relaxed, and elegant and B. Lin was such a big part of making all of that happen. We could not be happier!
