Ava Laurenne was recommended to me by another dress store and was described as the Disneyland of dresses. That is certainly true as they have three levels of dresses and make sure that from the moment you walk in during your first appointment to when you leave with your dress in hand, it is a special moment. The sales associates are very knowledgeable and able to transform a vision into reality to find the perfect dress. I also used the recommended alterations vendor, Mychelles, which was amazing as well!

Great dress selections
This place is massive, and they carry so many different gowns from various designers. I booked an appointment last summer and had a great time finding my dress here. The dress consultant was very patient with me and allowed me to try on different types of dresses to better narrow down the style I wanted. I never felt pressured to purchase and would highly recommend you check this place out.

A MUST shop place for brides!!!
I had an unbelievably positive experience at Ava Laurénne Bride (ALB)! I had visited a few bridal shops before coming here, but once I stepped into ALB, I never needed to look anywhere else. The entire experience was above and beyond anything I had imagined.
They get new dresses quarterly, so the selection is always fresh, unique, and endless. Abby was incredibly sweet, attentive, and genuinely cared about making my experience special from start to finish. She listened to what I wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout the process.
What truly sets Ava Laurénne apart is the atmosphere—they somehow make you feel like the only bride in the world, even in a busy store. Every moment felt personal, joyful, and so memorable.
I can’t recommend ALB enough! If you want a truly magical, one-of-a-kind bridal shopping experience, this is the place to go!!

Memories to last a lifetime!
Going to Ava Laurenne was by far one of the most special experiences of my time as a bride. Their studio is gorgeous and historic Fredericksburg was the perfect place for a wedding dress shopping weekend with my best gals.
It was SO MUCH FUN to have my mom and cousin walk around the store and pick out dresses for me to try one. The selection is unmatched to anything I had seen at other shops. The consultants were beyond helpful, and asked really good questions that led them to find dresses that best matched my style. I got a dress that was completely different than what I thought I was looking for, and I couldn’t have found it without the professional help. I felt like a princess :)
They also helped me order fabric to make a custom bridal scarf, since I knew I didn’t want a veil. They even recommended Mackenzie Clare, a fantastic bridal alteration studio down the street! I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience! I will have such wonderful memories of this time.

Choosing my dress!
I went to Ava Laurenne in Fredricksburg, VA to find my wedding dress. I had the best experience with Patty helping me, and surrounded by 8 of my family and friends. I ended up choosing and purchasing a dress, and it was such a hard decision for me because they're all so pretty! 2 days later I emailed Patty to ask if my dress had been ordered yet, and if I could possibly return it. Patty gave me a call to ask about how I was feeling, and if I wanted to come back in to make sure I got the right dress. She made me an appointment a week later and helped in the process of finding the right dress. I couldn't have had a better experience with it all and I'm so glad that everyone there was so accommodating to my indecisiveness. I am so happy with my choice now, and I can't wait to get married in my dress and veil.

A perfect experience
My first time trying on dresses and it was such an amazing experience from the moment I walked in the door. Their dresses are beautiful and the staff was lovely and a dream to work with. They ask so many questions to find the perfect dress but to also know more about you. I felt like they truly cared about me. I had an appointment elsewhere after and it was the exact opposite of Ava Laureen. I went right back and purchased my dress. And it was a beautiful dress.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the Ava Laurenne Bride! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel special and welcomed. Brittany, in particular, was absolutely amazing during my Princess Treatment experience.
She walked me through every step of the process, helping me choose the perfect dress and veil while keeping my budget in mind. I never felt pressured to overspend; instead, she focused on finding options that fit my vision and budget perfectly.
The entire experience was memorable and joyful, and I left feeling like a true princess. If you’re looking for a wonderful place to find your wedding dress, I highly recommend this shop! You won’t be disappointed!

The absolute best!
I planned on going to Ava Laurénne Bride years before getting engaged. Knowing ALB is the largest bridal boutique in Virginia, my plan was to take advantage of the National Bridal Sale during the month of July. I ended up getting engaged on July 29th, which happened to be the last day of the sale, so I just missed it. I talked to the stylist that runs their Instagram a few times to discuss various concerns and she eased ALL of my worries. The day of my appointment, my stylist was Abi, and she was the BEST!! I felt like we were lifelong friends just catching up! Abi listened to my vision and found dresses that were perfect, but also dresses that were a little different. I was thankful that she knew when to bring the dresses that were outside of my vision so that I could still see them just in case. When I was torn between two dresses, Abi never questioned my idea of adding a belt, and agreed with it. Sure enough, once she added the cathedral veil, I knew that dress was the one! The experience at ALB is better than anything I’ve seen on TLC and I would encourage anyone to go to the Fredericksburg, VA location or check out the new location in SC. I am so happy to be an Ava Laurénne Bride and love that I can go back to visit whenever! I’ve even thought about trying to work there part time to help other brides find their dream dress.

Ava Laurenne was by far the best experience I had shopping for my dress. Michelle took such care in listening to what I envisioned and then provided me with options I hadn’t even thought of. I didn’t go in to my appointment expecting to find my dress, but she pulled her “wild card” and it took my breath away. You NEED to get your dress here!
I cannot recommend my experience here enough. For one, the facilities are beautiful and it feels so unique and special inside, with so many details thought of and of course a ton of dresses. They have a good number of spaces for brides and their guests but they are somewhat secluded from each other so it feels more private. I absolutely loved my bridal attendant, Virginia -- she is amazing! This was the only place I went to for a dress and said yes to the dress! From the moment I walked in, I knew I would find my dress there.

Where do I even begin? As a bridal consultant myself, I worried I wouldn’t have my own “bridal moment” as I’ve seen and tried on MANY dresses over the years. Prior to coming to ALB, I had been to 5 other stores and never really felt that feeling you’re supposed to feel. I wasn’t sure if it would happen for me. On top of that, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January. The most exciting time in our life had to be paused, and then pushed back as I’ve been going through treatment. On our way down to the Outer Banks for a family vacation (we’re from Buffalo, NY), we decided to stop in Fredericksburg for the night. I knew I wanted to stop at Ava Laurenné because of their large selection of dresses, and I’m so happy I did. I was lucky enough to work with Katie. She knew my story as I had emailed the store ahead of time, but to Katie, I was a bride and not a cancer patient. She made me feel excited again for our wedding and to marry my best friend. Along with pulling dresses that I had seen online, she pulled one dress that was everything I told her I DIDN’T want. You can guess which dress I fell in love with. Even with the weight gain from medications and hair loss, I truly felt beautiful. I finally had my bridal moment. Katie is truly meant to work in bridal. I can’t thank her enough for what she did for both me and my family that day. For us, it was more than just a dress. Thank you so so much Katie!

THE Bridal Salon - Schedule a visit!!
I tried on almost 20 different dresses and went to 5 different boutiques before driving 2 hours to Ava Laurenne. I had found them on Social Media and was SO excited that they were within driving distance. Before bringing out any dresses to try on - my stylist sat me down and asked me a dozen questions about what I was looking for. I felt so seen!
Here is what I told my stylist: "I am looking for a tulle, A-line dress that feels like a princess would wear it. But not a princess at a ball. A princess running through the gardens of her country estate." Princess? A bit much - I will admit, I was a little embarrassed describing it, but my stylist had a look that a light bulb had gone off in her head. She brought back three dresses, confidently looked me in the eye, and said one of these three was my dress. Okay - sure, heard that before.
Let. Me. Tell. You. I tried on the second dress and I never wanted to get out of it. I couldn't believe that she had gotten it so spot on that quickly.
If you are looking for a specific vision - no matter what it is - please, please visit Ava Laurenne. They were so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. I felt heard and got the exact dress I had envisioned when I was beginning to lose hope that I would. They are wonderful!

Ava Laurenne was incredible for finding my dress. I went in expecting to try a few on to get ideas of what I was looking for and Patty found THE dress for me. I purchased off the rack and was able to leave my dress at the store until I was ready for fitting and alterations with Shannon from Mackenzie Clare who works out of the Ava Laurenne store. They have also been super helpful with recommending places for steaming before the wedding closer to home for me and very responsive to questions about cleaning and preservation after the wedding. I highly recommend Ava Laurenne!

Incredible wedding dress experience!
Had an INCREDIBLE experience here - the 1.5 hour drive from Chantilly is worth it!! When we arrived, we were greeted by a group of stylists who had such great and welcoming energy that set the mood for the fitting for sure. I signed up for the sample sale event and had Brooke as my stylist. She mentioned that every bride she had that day she was able to find a dress for. I'll be honest I was doubtful I would find my dress at my very first store/fitting but she helped me find it on my third try! My mind was BLOWN. She also helped me find the belt to accompany it and was so helpful and friendly the whole time. They also don't have a dress consultation fee which a lot of other places seem to have. Come here first to find your dress!!

We LOVE Ava Laurenne Bride!
The 7 hour trip was WORTH EVERY MINUTE in order to go to Ava Laurenne Bride! We had a wonderful experience there with my daughter last summer, so when my son got engaged in January, we immediately began making plans to drive up to ALB with my future daughter-in-law Mackenzie and her mother and sisters. From the moment we stepped in the door, our experience was above and beyond what we expected or imagined. We were helped by two stylists, and they were both absolutely superb. Katie pulled the dresses, and Dana helped Mackenzie to get in and out of them and think through how she felt about them. Dana was gentle, kind and thoughtful. She did an excellent job guiding the thought process in an understanding way....helping everyone see the value of each dress, as well as to notice what Mackenzie was actually feeling about each one. She was an excellent support player in this team effort, and we loved working with her. I was amazed at the skillful way that both stylists helped us see which dress was actually the "perfect one" for this unique bride. No one felt rushed or pushed, and the process was simple and fun because of how Katie and Dana handled it from start to finish. We're grateful to them both, and will recommend ALB to any future brides in the family!

The Best Bridal Shop
I could not have dreamed of a better expereince than the one I had at Ava Laurenne. I drove an hour and a half to check it out after a negative experience at another shop where I had felt pressured to make a purchase. At Ava Laurenne, I told them my short timeline (4 months until the wedding) and my desired style, and they found me lots of options that could be ready in time. I found my gorgeous dress there and they helped me find an alterations shop (My's Birdal Alterations in Manassas, VA) that could get my dress fitted in time. The Ava Laurenne associates were so knowledgeable, helpful, and thoughtful. I have recommended them to other future brides!

Ava Laurenne made picking out my dress the best day ever! My mother had passed just 8 months prior and picking out my wedding dress without her was already very emotional for me. My bridal stylists, Brittany, was so understanding and comforting from the second I walked in the store. Custom sleeve dream
I went to Ava Laurenne to shop for my dress because it's where my sister found her wedding gown. I brought my bridal party with me & my best friend/bridesmaid, Shannon, picked out a dress "Adelaide" that I ended up really loving during the first appointment. I had found a dress online that I liked the look of & they were ordering it in, so I'd have to come back for a second appt when it arrived. When it did arrive, that dress I thought would be the one- wasn't the vibe...but its sleeves...we used the silhouette of them to custom make sleeves for Adelaide! The dress came out so gorgeous & perfect for the theme of our wedding. I felt like a queen! I would've taken home all the dresses if I could've though tbh they're all so beautiful & unique. I highly recommend checking out Ava Laurenne whether you live in FXBG or not. It's worth the trip (:

This is THE place to find your DREAM dress
I can’t rave about Ava Laurenne enough. This was the second bridal shop that I had been to and immediately when you walk in, you feel welcomed and at home. Everyone there is super nice! The variety in dress styles and prices is unmatched. You won’t regret giving this place a chance! 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing experience!
I had the most wonderful experience shopping for my wedding dress at Ava Laurenne! I called the store before making an appointment to discuss pricing, what designers they carry, and what COVID-19 precautions they were taking. The person I spoke with was incredibly helpful over the phone and made me feel like the drive to Fredericksburg (from Richmond) would be worth it. Natalie was my consultant during the appointment and I feel like she not only listened to what I was looking for, but really helped me figure out exactly what look I was going for. I especially appreciated that every dress she brought me to try was under budget! I tried on about 6 or 7 dresses total and Natalie was so accommodating - she knew exactly what questions to ask and made sure that I got plenty of pictures in each style. The samples were very clean and you can tell the staff takes a lot of care with them to keep them in good condition. Their space is beautifully decorated and comfortable. While I only brought one guest with me, but there is ample space for larger parties. There is plenty of distance between the many try on areas and I never felt like I was fighting for mirror space or intruding on another bride's appointment. I ended up choosing one of their private label dresses and paid in November. When I went to pick it up in January, they were kind enough to let me FaceTime my mom when I tried it on and let me try it with a few veils to get an idea of what looked best. Lastly, one of the best parts was the online payment portal they provide you with after you decide to purchase. I really liked that I was able to pay for my dress over the course of a few months instead of a one-time, large payment. Having that flexibility was great, especially when you're balancing deposits with all the other wedding vendors. I couldn't be happier with my dress and buying from Ava Laurenne - from start to finish, it was just beyond my expectations!

Felt like a princess!
Ava Laurenne is the perfect place to find a wedding dress! I set my appointment with my mom on a whim thinking we would go from shop to shop- no need, because the perfect dress was at Ava Laurenne! The women were so patient and sweet, and were amazing at picking out gowns that would fit my short frame well. They offer such an inclusive community for Ava Laurenne brides. Everything was just wonderful!! PLUS...MY DRESS HAS POCKETS! What more could ya want?

Incredible experience!
Ava Laurenne and their fabulous dream dress team helped me find something perfect for my wedding! They were so attentive and took extra time to make sure I was happy and all my questions were answered. I never felt rushed or pressured in any way. As a plus size bride, it was so amazing having a stress free dress experience where I felt beautiful and knew there would be lots of dresses in my size to try! After my wedding was postponed a year, they were so gracious in helping me through some dress hurdles that came up. I can’t recommend them enough!

Had the best time with my mom, grandma and bridesmaid saying “yes” to my dream dress! Allison was very attentive and listened to what I liked and what I didn’t like. Couldn’t have found my dream dress without her! My dream dress was my 5th dress I tried on. All staff members made me and my family feel welcomed and make sure everyone was comfortable. Gorgeous Dress, Amazing Staff
When one of my bridesmaids first told me about ALB, my instant reaction was "Fredericksburg is so far." But when lockdown hit and I needed to look for a dress, one of my other bridesmaids realized they did the Princess Treatment, which gave us the ability to be the only group in the shop. At that point, we were all in, and it was a fantastic decision. We were a very small group, but ALB provided us with lunch, Katie made gluten free lemon tartlets for us, and we spent several hours having SO much fun. Katie understood what I was looking for, and she made what could have been a stressful experience incredibly relaxing. We were able to skype in people who weren't able to attend - two of my bridesmaids, and my grandma - and the whole experience was everything you could ever hope for.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was at Ava Laurenne. Natali was the most amazing listener -- she was able to pick up on everything I liked/didn't like as I was trying on various dresses and ended up putting together a skirt/jacket/belt combo that truly was my dream dress. It was everything I had envisioned and she was able to put it together in just our one hour visit, while being completely respectful of my budget!! And after the purchase, I have to say everyone was great -- especially given the tighter timeline because of the current situation. They kept us updated, were very friendly and always helpful. If you are looking for your dress, this is the place to go!

Got to wear my dress twice!
From the moment I walked into ALB, I felt like a princess! Brittany was the best bridal consultant ever! She picked out my dress after listening to the story of how I met my now husband and seeing my ring. The dress she picked had lace that matched the scrolling detail on my ring. She put me in it first and it fit like a glove! I fell in love with my gown and ALB continues the experience even after you've purchased your gown. I cannot rave about this shop enough!! Princess Treatment
I am not a "girly-girl", but I felt that this was my one time to really embrace my feminine side and enjoy this (since I am not going to do it again). I worked with Rachel specifically. We were greeted at the door when we got there and we had the salon to ourselves. Rachel sat down with me and asked me about my fiance and the proposal, where we were getting married and when, if i knew what I was looking for, etc. She took the time to really get to know me and make me feel special. Then we got to explore. She made sure that I was not even going to pick up a dress that was out of my price range. I picked up a few as well as my entourage, but Rachel supplemented them with some different styles so that I could get a real sense of what I liked and didn't. I was really unsure and overwhelmed at first, but Rachel helped me narrow things down and talked me through the whole process. When I finally found the prefect dress, it was like a dream. I couldn't believe it! I truly felt like a princess, but I still felt like me. I still pull out my wedding dress occasionally and wear it around the house becuase I'm so obsessed with it and I still keep in touch with Ava Laurenne and Rachel!

Best Bridal Boutique Ever
I just had my appointment today, and they went on quite a journey with me to find the perfect dress. And we found it! Everyone there treats you like family, and will do anything and everything to make sure you find the dress of your dreams. I feel so incredibly special, and for the first time in this whole process, I'm starting to actually feel like a bride. Magically Personal Experience
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ava Laurenne! From the minute my sisters, mom, and I walked through the doors we knew it was going to be a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and all the staff are anxious to make you feel like a princess. We had been to a shop earlier in the day who chose dresses for me and limited the number I could try on, so we were pleasantly surprised when we were told we could browse on our own to pick out some dresses to try on while they also chose styles based on my wants! My sisters had so much fun finding dresses for me, and actually ended up finding my perfect dream dress. They worked with my budget and didn't try to upsell me on anything. The store did a great job notifying me of my dress arriving, and worked with my schedule as I lived out of town. They let me wear my dress as long as I wanted when I came to pick it up, and I never felt rushed or pressured. They don't have in-house alterations so I was able to take my dress to any seamstress I chose (so helpful when you live out of town!). They also provided a preservation service I was able to purchase at the time of dress pick up. My mom dropped my dress off after my wedding and they dealt with sending it out for me! I highly highly recommend anyone who wants a personalized wedding dress experience to check this place out!

The designer was behind on my dress but Ava Laurenne took the stress away and assured me that we would get the dress with plenty of time to get the alterations done - and they were right!

Went with my daughter, the bride, and had such a wonderful experience! First, the new space is beautiful and in a great location in old town Fredericksburg. Second, the women who work here are so nice and pleasant. Never, ever felt rushed or pressured, even as they brought out dress after dress after dress after dress... I had such a good time trying on dresses at Ava Lauren. Their studio is just beautiful and the girls there are SO lovely and helpful. I had a specific style in mind but every time I tried on what I thought I wanted I just wasn't "feeling it". They suggested I try a dress that was a style I really wasn't going for but said just for comparison maybe I should try it. Of course that ended up being THE dress! When I put it on and came out of the dressing room she told me, "you look happy in this dress, you're smiling and you didn't smile in the others" She was so right, that dress gave me confidence and it showed. One of the girls also recommended two alterations shops and the one I chose did a phenomenal job on my wedding gown, it fit like a glove! They were not just helpful and professional but I also felt that they were truly excited for me and wanted me to have an amazing dress. Highly recommend!

One of a kind dress
Ava Laurenne was the second bridal store that I had gone to, I wasn't feeling very well and although all the dresses they pulled were gorgeous I didn't get the feeling. As my appointment was coming to a close, my stylist said she was going to pull one more, the designer had made a mistake on the coloring of the dress and asked them to send it back. But they had loved it so much they kept it anyway... I'm so glad they did. I put on that dress and it was the *one*, I had the feeling!
Everyone cheered and it was such an awesome experience. The ladies at ava laurenne really want you to find your dream dress and you can tell they want only the best for you and other brides.

If you're looking for an incredible experience while dress shopping, the princess treatment at Ava Laurenne is the only option you should consider! My experience buying my wedding dress at Ava Laurenne Bride was absolutely perfect. I was not a bride who was looking forward to wedding dress shopping, my maid of honor actually booked the appointment for me by surprise. I was very honest when I walked in that I had NO IDEA what I was looking for. Brittany H was so incredibly helpful that it brought me to tears. Every single dress she brought me made me feel amazing. She listened to what I liked & didn't like about each dress, and brought in THE ONE!
The ordering process was super easy and did not take long at all. I am between sizes, and Brittany worked with me to help me decide which size was a better idea to order. I still ended up having to have a few alterations done, but they provide a recommendation for a seamstress to all their brides.
All in all, my dress was a bit over budget and did need just a few small fixes - but I would not change a thing about my dress shopping experience. My dress is perfect for me, and I have felt like a beautiful bride every step of the way with Ava Laurenne!

I absolutely love Ava Laurenne! Ashley and Brittany were complete dolls and made me feel like the most beautiful, important person to ever exist. I got my gown just under a year ago, maybe 2 months after I got engaged, and it was the first and only bridal shop I had to visit to find my wedding dress. I got married this past month, April 2018, and they steamed and pressed my dress to perfection for me. I couldn't have been happier with the experience, the gown, and the veil. Everything was perfect. Such a no-pressure, wonderful boutique! I highly recommend if you're looking for quality and excellence!

I went to 4 other bridal gown stores before I found THE dress here. This was by far the friendliest, most accommodating, and most enjoyable shop to visit. I had the pleasure of working with Katie who is AMAZING! She took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and she was the one who ultimately pulled my dress to try on as she took my feedback from each dress we tried on previously. It was amazing! I never thought I'd find it and it was everything I wanted and more :) I also bought my veil from there too and got to try everything on together. What a great experience- Thank you Katie!
I had such a lovely time that I recommended it to my sister-in-law and she ended up buying her dress there too! We both had a blast. We're also using Ava Laurenne to clean and preserve our bridal gowns post wedding. They're truly a one stop shop with such kind and friendly staff- a must visit for all future brides!

I had the best experience with Ava Laruenne Bride. Growing up in the area this place was definitely up and coming as more and more of my friends had an experience with them. In the past they had formal and bridesmaid dresses available and noticed the care they provided my dear bride friends. As a bridesmaid I would also tell my friends after moving away about this place and they found their dresses here as well! So naturally when it was my turn I knew in the back of my mind that I'd most likely find my dream dress here. Admittedly, I went to quite a few stores before making this my last stop. I'm actually glad I did. It proved their professionalism and commitment to their customers, far exceeding the treatment I received at other shops. I had Ashley who helped me over a period of a few months before the purchase. She helped me truly find the exact dress I wanted all along.

Had a great experience shopping for my wedding dress at Ava Laurenne! I didn't expect to find my dress on the first stop but I did! Virginia was such a great help, and super accommodating! She helped me easily find the perfect dress while staying right within my price point. Other than helping me find a fabulous dress Virginia was also very flexible with apt scheduling for my dress pick up. She was able to work with my schedule, and actually came in off hours to help me out.

This place was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. I was fortunate enough to work with Wendy and her husband, Gabe. You can really tell they genuinely care about the people walking through their doors. You are not just a number, but a member of the Ava Laurenne Bride family. I felt like my appointment was with an old friend. Gabe and Wendy picked out a few dresses for me with my budget strictly in mind without going over it. I tried on the first dress and knew it was the one! She paired a veil with it that looked like it was made for my dress. Wendy's words were so heartfelt, true, and genuine. She is so empathetic and listens and doesn't try to force any style or dress on you. She lets you take it all in, observe the dress for yourself and if you don't like it, off it goes!! and quickly ;) I can't recommend this place enough. Everything was perfect! I wish every bride could feel so special and have such an amazing experience as I did at Ava Laurenne.

This was the first place I went and the woman that helped me was amazing. She was attentive and gave lots of advice. I didn't even notice she was pregnant till the 3rd dress, she was carrying around the dresses like they were nothing!! I am extremely happy with my dress and she even took note of my obvious facial expressions when I tried on other dresses.

I can't even begin to describe how incredibly amazing Wendy and her team at Ava Laurénne are! They are the BEST! When looking at a few other bridal boutiques, I felt rushed and unappreciated. At Ava Laurénne, Wendy was so incredibly patient, kind, and downright awesome! She made the experience so much fun and made me feel like part of the family! She offered advice, never rushed me, and had a great sense of humor. Her husband and staff are equally amazing as well! Seriously - make an appointment here right away - you won't be disappointed! After my mom's suggestion, we made an appointment here and I drove down from Alexandria. I'm so glad I did. Ava Laurénne is nestled in downtown Fredericksburg and is so cute! My experience at Ava Laurenne Bride was so special! I had visited several shops from Alexandria to Manassas and Fredericksburg and no other shop compared to ALB. I had been on the search for a wedding dress for nearly four months and the consultants at Ava (Brittany, Patty, Katie, and Ashley) were oh-so patient with me as I visited the shop multiple times to find the style of dress that would look perfect for my big day. Each and every time I was greeted with a smile and the ladies were always so helpful in pulling dresses that were exactly my taste. I knew I would find my dress there and to help me select THE dress we scheduled a princess treatment at ALB. It was so special to have close family and friends to share the experience of "saying yes to the dress". I couldn't have imagined a more special appointment! I had a budget set and Patty and Brittany were able to find me the perfect dress and everything I needed without going over it! At ALB they do everything they can to make sure that soon-to-be brides walk out with a smile on their face. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience or the great customer service that is offered at ALB each and every time you walk into the door. If you're looking for a special experience, to not be rushed, and to be treated like family, Ava Laurenne Bride is the perfect place to find your dream dress!

We had a wonderful experience at Ava Laurenne. The sales staff was fantastic and finding our daughter's perfect dress was easy with all of the beautiful choices. The dress came in earlier than we expected, a nice surprise. We were also able to order extra lace for a veil. We were a little concerned when we found out later that the store did not offer alterations but the seamstress they recommended was amazing-she made the veil, too!

I bought my dress about two years ago, but just FINALLY got to wear it! All of the staff at Ava Laurenne are so knowledgeable and really understand each bride's vision. They also referred me to a great local seamstress for my alterations. I am so happy with my dress and my experience here!

The experience I had at Ava Laurenne was unmatched by anything I have ever experienced. Earlier in the day, I experienced a terrible bridal appointment at another bridal shop in town that had me feeling very discouraged and defeated. I came here next, and I wish I had just come here first! Walking in, I already felt that I would have a much better experience. ALL the staff greeted us and asked my mother and I if we had been helped. Customer service was amazing. First, I met with Brittany, who asked me what I was looking for and then we started pulling dresses! A few minutes later, I met Patty who was the lady I worked with the whole time. I enjoyed that my mother and I could pull dresses that we really liked, and Brittany and Patty pulled dresses for me as well. I think I ended up trying on about 15-20 dresses in my 1.5-hour appointment! The second dress I walked out in was my DREAM dress!! I was in love from the very second Patty was putting it on. This was the dress that Brittany thought of right away after I told her what I was looking for. She did such a great job picking out this dress - I was amazed by how awesome I felt, and my mom and I shed a few happy tears. :) Of course, I still had about 15 dresses to try on, so we got to work. Patty was doing such a great job since she was putting me into all different styles and looks just to make sure that I KNEW that my dress was the one Brittany had picked. The dresses were absolutely beautiful, but I knew I had already found my dress. Better yet, I also got my veil and belt here too and were beautiful enhancements for my dress. Overall, the customer service was phenomenal, the staff was very personable and genuine, and I had the greatest time here. I will definitely recommend Ava Laurenne to everyone I know! Thank you so much again to Brittany and Patty!!! Can't wait until my dress arrives! :)

Ava Laurenne was the first and last wedding boutique I went to in order to find a dress. I gave Ashley a very vague idea of what I was looking for, because I had no idea what I wanted. She pulled five dresses, and number three was "the one". I just got the dress back from the tailor and I couldn't be happier. They happily made note of all the dresses I tried on so I could make a second appointment with my mother, because she couldn't make the first appointment. Ava Laurenne is definitely worth the trip.

I had gone to 1-2 other bridal shops in the area before visiting Ava Laurenne, but my experience at ALB was much different than the other shops. Wendy was fantastic in helping to narrow down my choices based on my likes and budget first. I was truly grateful that she didn’t let me try on anything that wasn’t within my budget without alerting me first! This helped eliminate the dreaded possibility that I’d fall in love with a dress I couldn’t afford. After trying on a couple dresses, I found the one on the third try. Wendy also helped me to find the perfect sash to make the dress complete. I couldn’t believe how fast the search was over, but I was really grateful for Wendy’s help in finding the perfect dress for me. Every time I’ve visited the shop after that first visit, the girls have always been very nice and helpful. On my wedding day, guests commented on how much they loved my dress, and I felt the most beautiful I’ve ever been. Thanks ALB for helping to make my dress shopping experience and wedding day perfect!

I had an amazing time picking out my dress at Ava Laurenne Bride this past October. As a plus size bride, I was so nervous to go dress shopping, but Wendy made me feel absolutely amazing during the whole appointment. She really listened to what I was looking for, but also showed me some other dresses she thought I'd love. To my surprise, one of those other dresses turned out to be the one! Every single dress she brought me was within the budget that we discussed at the beginning of the appointment. The shop was also so accommodating and had no problem with me Facetiming my sisters who couldn't be there. My dress came in quickly, and I was able to find a veil and petticoat that fit my dress perfectly.

I had the best experience at Ava Laurenne! I purchased my wedding dress from Ava Laurenne in May 2016 (1 year prior to my wedding). I worked with Ashley and she was absolutely amazing! The owner, Wendy, greeted me with a huge hug when I met her and made me feel so welcome in their shop. They had a wide variety of options within my budget and I ended up selecting an Ava Laurenne private label gown. Ashely was so patient and kind and made me feel beautiful in every dress I tried on while giving her honest opinion on styles that would be the most flattering on my body type. The construction/quality of the dress was fantastic and it was ready to be picked up 3 months after I purchased it. Because I currently live in Miami, Ava Laurenne graciously held on to my dress for over 3 more months until I was home for the holidays. Although they do not do alterations, they gave several suggestions for places they recommended. Ava Laurenne is so much more than a wedding dress shop- they treat each and every bride like family. They host events for their brides and even created a Facebook group for Ava Laurenne brides to connect and ask each other wedding questions- a great tool throughout the planning process! I couldn’t recommend Ava Laurenne enough and have several friends who have since bought their wedding dresses from them as well. Highly recommend Ava Laurenne!

The staff was amazing and the owner, Wendy, is an angel in disguise! She knew exactly what to choose for me just by asking about my venue and things I liked. She was AMAZING! I cannot even begin to explain the level of service we got from this salon, Wendy is beyond amazing, I do believe she is an angel in disguise. She made my daughter so happy and helped her find the dress of her dreams. After going to a couple of different shops and my daughter trying on over 40 gowns and leaving the last one in tears, she thought she would never find the dress of her dreams, we decided to make an appointment at ALB after seeing them at the expo. Like everyone else we thought it would be out of our price point but boy were we wrong. Wendy greeted us as soon as we came in the shop, she asked my daugher all about the wedding plans and the venue. She then told us she would pick some dresses in our price point for her to try on. She picked all the right ones and did not go over our budget, on the 3rd dress my daughter was in happy tears saying she had found the one. I would definitely recommend this shop to every bride who is looking for the perfect gown and a level of service that is beyond amazing. Thank you Wendy for going above and beyond for us.

I cannot thank Ava Laurenne enough for their help in finding my wedding dress. They went above and beyond the call of duty, tracking down a dress that I had seen online that at least 10 other stores said they couldn't find and/or had been discontinued. Not only did Ava Laurenne get the designer to send them a loaner dress but they held it longer than they should have so I could try it on and then bring my mother the following week who was coming in from out of town. The store is over an hour away from where I live but I would have driven a lot longer than that to work with them again! Amazing experience, amazing staff! My wedding would not have been the same without your help, thank you!!

What an experience! The shop is stunning and just what a wedding dress store should look like. My Mom and I were the only ones in the store when we went; it was an early afternoon during the week. I went in with an open mind, minus wanting lace. Patty walked me through the racks of dresses to get a better idea of what I liked and didn't like. From there, I tried on ten dresses, or more. I was so nervous about shopping for my wedding dress. I get overwhelmed shopping for clothes and was worried about finding the perfect fit. The entire staff at ALB was so friendly, genuine, and helpful that I immediately felt at ease and enjoyed my appointment so much more than I expected.
I knew I didn't want a typical dress--I really wanted something of a different color, and I wanted unique details. Katie, Gabe & Wendy pulled such great dresses for me and I ended up choosing the second dress I had ever tried on. Katie made the dressing process easy and comfortable & was very knowledgeable.
My timeline was slightly rushed but my dress ended up coming in several months earlier than expected, and I honestly can't believe how much detail and material my dress has for its price! I can't wait for my wedding day!

I love the one on one approach this shop has with their brides. Unlike some of the chain dress stores out there, Ava Laurenne makes sure that their staff is working with only one bride at a time. Giving the bride the 120% attention that she deserves. A lot of time, money, and effort goes into picking out the perfect dress, and it is so refreshing to have a dress shop that provides the bride with individual attention. I went there after shopping for dress at two other stores and honestly the others didn't compare in quality of dresses or quality of service. The consultants are so knowledgeable and accommodating and I was able to purchase two breathtaking dresses for my ceremony and reception. Marina was amazing...as I tried on ALL styles. She never made me feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. I could not love my dress more! We returned another day to decide on a veil and jacket. I came not sure what I was looking for...and left knowing that what I had was EXACTLY right for me! My experience purchasing my wedding gown was the most pampering experience with Ava Laurenne Bride. I would recommend this shop to any bride looking for a gown. I am obsessed with my Justin Alexander gown and my wedding veil. They could not have been nicer group of people to work with!

Ava Laurenne Bride is amazing!! It was definitely the best shopping experience I had of the several bridal boutiques I visited. Wendy, the owner, as well as my consultant, is a gem. She's super knowledgeable and made me feel so special during my appointment. She listened to what I wanted and didn't rush me at all during the process. Honestly I loved trying on the dresses (probably my favorite part of wedding planning), but chatting with her made the experience so much more enjoyable. She's very passionate about what she does and it definitely shows. When a bride finds their dress Wendy and her husband Gabe sing to them (they both have theater backgrounds). Definitely different, and a bit quirky, but they're so genuine about celebrating their brides. They really love their brides and you can feel that in everything they do.
I'm so happy I found my dress at Ava Laurenne Bride. My dress was absolutely perfect, was reasonably priced, and came in quickly. I seriously can't recommend them enough. Pay them a visit - you won't regret it.

Wendy made my experience at Ava Laurenne Bride one of a kind. I just gave Wendy a short overview if what I was looking for and she just went with it and I loved every dress she put me in. They made my guests feel very welcomed and I got so many compliments on how gorgeous my dress was. My dress did come in small which we expected it to be big as we ordered the size up (I was between sizes) which is out of their control and alterations were much more difficult.

Worth the trip from DC! They really made me feel special and made it easy to make a decision. I bought from their sale dresses in the front and it was an amazing experience. I had gone to three stores before going to Ava Laurenne and none of the others even compare. I highly recommend!

I enjoyed working with Wendy! She picked out a dress that was nothing like what I (thought) I wanted and it was "the one." She definitely has a vision for her clients and knows her inventory inside and out.
