Aura was so wonderful to work with. We wanted engagement photos out in the mountains. She met us 3 hours out at Blue Ridge Parkway and was willing to go through the woods to different spots (that she had already scouted) to get some incredible photos. For our wedding photos, we ended up with so many good photos in our album! As a person, Aura is just so kind and willing to do whatever it takes to get the shot. -

We hired Aura for our 12/4/21 wedding and she is absolutely amazing! She is so talented and just truly captured the best moments on our big day. She helped keep us on schedule throughout the wedding day, knew exactly where the best light was, and guided us to the best positions. There are many good photographers out there, but Aura is a GREAT one. A real professional with an eye for each special moment. Her lighting is perfection. We interviewed a few different photographers in the beginning - all had wonderful portfolios, but it was Aura’s lighting that ultimately won us over and her purpose behind every shot. We even asked her about any “challenges” she’s faced when photographing a wedding. She explained a tricky lighting situation and showed us the end result. You would have NEVER known she had an issue! The photos were magic! That sold us over too. We were like, okay, she’s DEF a pro! As for our OWN photos, we’re beyond thrilled with them. I can’t help but smile when I peruse through them. I felt my most beautiful that day and I feel Aura was able to capture photos that showed that. She was also super flexible and helped us plan out the shots we wanted. Look no further. She’s your girl! -

Aura is fantastic to work with and her photos are incredible. We spent a couple hours together for an engagement shoot and the day of our wedding and she made it easy and fun. And it was awesome fun seeing the excitement and passion she has for photography as she's taking photos and finding beautiful lighting and spots. Aura was always willing to answer any questions, send example photos, and even edit out that pesky strand of hair on a few photos. Would highly recommend her!Aura Marzouk Photography's reply:

Incredible photographer
Aura is an amazing photographer, and got incredible photos with lightning efficiency and artistic flair. She shot for our engagement, covid wedding ceremony, and anniversary reception, and did an outstanding job with each. Even beyond being an incredible photographer, she was a life saver. She had a sewing kit that was used to sew a button back on my wedding dress minutes before my reception, and saved my veil from getting stuck in church doorway, even with the wind. I cannot imagine having anyone else do anything close to what she was able to capture. I would hire her again in a heartbeat, and will recommend her to everyone I know getting married. -

Aura was great on our wedding day. She was very assertive (in a good way) while getting our photos done. She definitely knew what she was doing. She took charge and had everyone listening on what to do and where to go in order to get our photos done quick so we'd have more time with our family and guests. And the photos turned out amazing!! Wouldn't have wanted anyone else! -

Virginia Sent on 09/14/2018If Aura is your photographer, you’re not just signing up for a slew of incredible photos—you’re signing up for someone who truly has your back all day! The bustle on my dress ripped halfway through the reception and Aura jerry-rigged it back together using the tiniest piece of thread that she could find. She is not only creative when it comes to pictures, she is also a very resourceful and amazing multi-tasker! It was clear that she was putting in over 100% effort for our wedding. She worked very hard and efficiently to capture every moment! My husband and I are so in love with the pictures, we can’t stop looking at them! Aura produces very high quality and naturally beautiful photos—we are so thankful for these captured memories that we will always treasure! If you’re looking for someone who goes above and beyond and takes gorgeous photos, Aura’s your girl!

I would highly recommend Aura! Aura went above and beyond to get the perfect pictures on my wedding day! I spent a lot of time researching photographers and as soon as I saw work by Aura I knew I had to have her at my wedding. My bridal portraits and wedding pictures were absolutely stunning and she took so many pictures for us. She also helped us and made us feel comfortable on our wedding day to make sure we got all of the photos we wanted. Aura will not disappoint you and she has a quick turnaround time for pictures. It was raining/sleeting for my April wedding and Aura stood out in the cold and rain to help us get our perfect pictures. Thank you so much Aura! -

I used Aura for my engagement photos, bridal photos, and our wedding photos. Each time...she killed it!! From her ability to give direction, take control of an unruly crowd, or simply capture the the BEST pictures, Aura is a BEAST! If I had to do this all over again, I’d hire her again...no hesitation!! -
