I had my wedding Astoria Banquet Hall and it was absolutely incredible. Throughought the process, the management team (Max, in particular) was very helful in all regards. He made us feel welcomed, always reassured us, and always knew the answer to our questions before we even asked them.

Instructions, choices, layout and format was all very clear. It was very helpful to a Type-A planner like myself.

My wife and I had had our food tasting and the Chef was very friendly. He made us feel at home and the food was incredible. He and his staff made sure that all food accomodations were taken care of.

On the day of the wedding, the staff was so kind and welcoming. They assisted us immediately in whatever we needed. It felt like we were working with Family.

We recommend Astoria to any and all who want to have an amazing venue for any special event. But as always, you reap what you sow. We made sure that we and our party gave the up-most respect to Astoria Staff and Crew, and because of that, we were met with equal, if not more, kindness and respect!

Astoria is truly amazing! If you’re looking for a venue that genuinely does it all, please choose them. My husband and I were both juggling demanding jobs and had very little time to handle the details of planning a wedding. Max and his team stepped in like true professionals — they took care of everything. From the cakes, the decorations, the drinks, the food — every detail was handled with care and excellence. Honestly, we really just showed up and they made the magic happen.

Their team is patient, organized, funny, and incredibly supportive. Even during a winter storm, they showed up in high numbers and made sure our wedding was nothing short of phenomenal. The level of care, professionalism, and dedication they bring is unmatched.

I’m forever grateful for how seamlessly and beautifully they made our day come together. Astoria is absolutely the place to be for your dream wedding!

Our wedding at Astoria Banquets was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Max and his entire staff were amazing! Super attentive, professional, and kind throughout the entire process and especially on the day of our wedding. Everything ran so smoothly, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception. The venue looked beautiful, the food was delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the drinks! Great place to have your wedding. All inclusive so you will not have to worry about too many other things. They were very accommodating to put requests and made sure we got everything we asked for. Max was great. He attended to our request and was very responsive.

We just had our wedding here almost a month ago exactly. Max was wonderful from start to finish. The entire staff was amazing. We can't thank everyone enough for making our day lovely. We had my Daughters Quinceañera on 7/20/24 and all I can say is WOW! The venue is all inclusive so it made everything easier and less stressful for us! My guests complimented us on the venue! My favorite thing about the venue is that they offer a “Happy Hour Room” and an outside Garden room where our guests were able to socialize and talk! The venue is absolutely stunning! All of our guests complimented us on a beautiful venue! The head server named Leo was so helpful and attentive throughout the evening! I can’t thank Astoria enough for a beautiful & unforgettable evening! Thank you so much!!!

We are extremely grateful for Max and the staff at Astoria. They made planning and executing our wedding alot easier than we thought it would be. (*Notably, we planned our wedding in 3 months; and Astoria still made everything work for us) Everything from choosing hall decor, menu, event timing etc was seamless! Astoria accommodated our every request - even those on the day of.
When our wedding day was over, the compliments were endless. Everyone kept raving about how beautiful the event was, how good the food was and of course, the drinks! We all had an amazing time. Astoria truly made our wedding day perfect.

We are so happy that we had our wedding at Astoria!! Max was always very responsive to emails and made sure we didn’t have to worry about anything. The venue is breathtaking and so elegant! It’s everything I always wanted for my wedding day. We had no issues the day of. Everything was put out exactly as I requested it be. Our guests had the best time! I highly recommend booking with Astoria!

We got married 1-15-22 and to say everything was perfect would be an understatement. We had the stress of the Cook County vaccine mandates come out 2 weeks before our wedding, but Max helped us handle it with ease... just like everything else that had to be planned for this venue. Max took literally all of my stress away every time I talked with him, he was extremely easy to work and communicate with and like I said our day was perfect. I couldn't have imagined anything different. I recommend Astoria to EVERYONE I know that's getting married or holding an event. The food was AMAZING... everyone still talks about it to this day. The venue was gorgeous, we got so many compliments about everything from this day. This day would not have been possible without Max and everything he did to help us get to that point. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Isabel! She made sure things ran smoothly and even accommodated some guests that were delayed getting to the reception and made sure they got their food. The staff- FABULOUS. I have worked in catering, waitressing, bartending, etc and they exceeded my expectations. I truly could not be more impressed with how everything turned out. Thank you to everyone at Astoria for giving us the best day of our lives!!

If you are considering getting married or renewing your vows this is the place to do it at. They go above and beyond to make your day perfect!! Despite having to change my date a few times due to the pandemic they worked with me through it all I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else. In the midst of a pandemic, we were still able to have our beautiful royal wedding to commemorate 10 years together. It was truly one for the books. I am especially grateful for how closely Lora and Max worked with me and my husband to personalize every single detail to make the day truly remarkable and memorable. From handpicking the decor for each of the guest tables to dancing on a cloud, we had such a beautiful ceremony and reception. Lora and Max really worked overtime to bring our vision to life. More importantly, they worked to ensure that our wedding was safe for all people attending. They have truly incorporated CDC guidelines for gatherings and I felt comfortable having a wedding in the midst of a national health pandemic because of it. Despite having to cut our guest list in half, we had a ball and the room was filled with love, positive energy, and joy and happiness and I am so grateful that Astoria hosted our special day.

Other notes: the food was amazing, especially for "wedding food" that I have had at other weddings, which unfortunately, is usually subpar. It was way above average and flavorful, which was important to us and our guests. We were able to have signature drinks to reflect the theme of our wedding, which was so fun. Astoria has a great relationship with the Baking Institute, so the cake included in our package was absolutely beautiful and decorated so elegantly with our wedding colors and accents. Overall, Lora and Max care a lot about what they do and want to make each wedding day special and unique to the couple. They are responsive, thoughtful, and very eager to host you and accommodate your needs.

10/10 would highly recommend Astoria for your wedding venue.

The owners were awesome! They made us feel comfortable and when I had reservations about reserving they stopped and we talked it out. They gave my fiancé and myself time to talk privately and didn’t push us into everything! I know my wedding is gonna be worry free with them! They even gave me a “what to expect” packet and a timeline.

Everything about Astoria is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we set foot in Astoria, we instantly knew that this is the place that we wanted to get married in. We wanted an elegant and beautiful ballroom wedding that served a family style dinner. Astoria did not disappoint. We booked our wedding date, 9/21/19, less than two weeks after our first visit back in January 2018.
The owners, Lora and Max were so accommodating with our questions and requests throughout the entire wedding planning process. They helped ease our stress about little details, allowed us to bring in our bins of supplies a few days before the wedding, and even set up all of our decorations,favors, place cards,etc.
Our wedding turned out better than we could have imagined! Our guests loved the passed appetizers during cocktail hour, loved the drinks, and raved about the dinner! Our DJ told us, our wedding will be one that our friends and family will talk about for years to come because it was absolutely perfect! We even had a number of our guests say that they never have been to a more beautiful, elegant, and organized wedding than ours!

Where do I even begin...Astoria was absolutely amazing! We got married on 9/20/19 at Astoria and it was everything we could’ve hoped for from our Ceremony to the very end. The decor is so incredibly beautiful! The entire process was so simple and stress free even with all our questions because we had no idea, Max was so easy to ge tin contact with and helpful. Him and his staff were wonderful and they covered everything. Food was also great! If your looking for a all inclusive wedding venue this is the place!! The price for the venue will not break your bank but still provided us exceptional service on our wedding day! Max is great and very helpful and always there to communicate and responds promptly! Laura also assisted us and very accommodating. The staff were very nice. Parking is not a problem. They also have a patio area where we set up an outside vendor for an ice cream cart. Their prices are very reasonable since they decorate the place very well and we were satisfied. They were very flexible with all the requests that we had for our big day! Thank you for making it all happen!

On 8/19/18 my son’s wedding was held here. It was beautiful. They decorated the ballroom so elegantly it was breathe taking. Everyone enjoyed themselves. They anticipate my son and daughter-in-law every need. After the ceremony we had hors d’oeuvres which were scrumptious. Everyone loved their meatballs (beef), fruit and cheese on a kabob, cheese quesadilla, etc. the servers kept them coming. Guests loved the individual table self serve menu. Steak, potatoes, Mac and cheese, chicken marsala with mushrooms, salad, soup. Overall Astoria help make my kids day very special. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

Astoria is the absolute best!! We loved having our wedding there. From start to finish, everything was amazing. We worked with Lora all throughout wedding planning. She made us feel at ease during such a stressful time. On the day of our wedding, we knew that the decorations would look beautiful but it was even better than we had imagined it to be. Lora helped make our vision come true and we loved every bit of it. As for the food and drinks, it was all fabulous. We chose the option to provide our guests with a choice of chicken, steak or fish. All of our guests talked about how delicious our food was especially the filet. We had the opportunity to do a tasting and got to try all three options beforehand. The service was also amazing. The food was brought out in a timely manner. The drinks were very well made. Max was our coordinator on the day of the wedding and he was wonderful. We had the best time ever and would recommend Astoria to anyone!!!

My wedding was 8/27/18 I looked at many venues and was stressing out! I set an appointment to view Astoria and when me and my husband walked in we instantly fell in love! Then when we started talking about prices and what came with we were sold. The venue looked so magical I felt like I was one of Disney’s princess. There arent enough words to describe how amazing Astoria and all their staff were on our wedding September 22, 2018. They made our wedding day all we ever wished for. They were so caring, professional, helpful, kind overall wonderful. From beginning to the end we didnt encounter any problems and they worked so well. The managment was great throughout all the planning and the waiter's, bartenders all staff the day off were all we could ever ask for. The food was great and our guest still compliments us about it. That day i didnt have to worry about anything at all the staff worked so well with my coordinator and they knew exactly what to do. Not to mention how beautiful everything turned out the place is beautiful but once i walked in the day of and saw everything set up i couldnt believe how beautiful it all was. Everyone loves the venue and service. I venue was extremely affordable yet elegant! Everything was gorgeous! They were so understanding!

My wedding was perfect till this day I’m getting comments about the venue food and how amazing Everything went.

After years befor knowing this is where I wanted to host my wedding, My husband and I had our wedding here on Sunday November 5th 2017 and it was everything we imagined it to be. Max is one of the owners of the event space and is absoutely amazing to work with. I being a very hands on bride sent countless emails and not once did Max not respond nor did he ever seem bothered by my multiple correspondent. The venue makes the planning process extremely easy to understand and every service they provide is absoutely top notch. The food is superb and nothing similar to the normal wedding food you have at other venues. The London broil and chicken champagne is absoutely mouth watering and my family is still raving on how delicious the food was. Depending on your budget you can design this venue to be transformed into whatever you imagine and I'm thankful to my husband for allowing us to push our budget because Max and his staff made my ideal of a "Royal Winter" wedding come to life. From the Crystal centerpieces, backdrop, and ceiling decor it was absoutely BREATHTAKING. The drinks, bartenders, and wait staff were great and very helpful and accommodating. The event space is extremely clean and it was wonderful having the event space private for just my wedding. Do not skip on having your event or at least a discussion of possibilities with Max and the Astoria team it is defintely the best place to host your wedding or event. We have no regrest, our event was ABSOUTELY AMAZING. THANKS AGAIN MAX!

Astoria was Amazing!!! I don't know how else to describe them! I only had two banquets in mind when planning my wedding. I went to them first and stuck with them. Lora and Max are amazing and they are so accommodating! I am an anxious person and a bit of a control freak, so I called them and they always reassured me that everything would be okay. I not only had my reception there, but I had my bridal shower there as well! I intend to have a baby shower there when the time comes! The food was delicious and so was the cake (at both of my events) People are still talking about how great everything tasted and how beautiful the banquet was. I truly could not have asked for a better shower and reception. A colleague of mine got engaged and I referred her to Astoria and SHE BOOKED IT! They are worth every penny. I can't wait to have another event there in the future.

I found Astoria Banquets through this site and couldn't be happier with our choice. From the first meeting with Lora, we knew we had found the right location for our wedding ceremony and reception. Weddings can be stressful, and Astoria's packages were all inclusive and gave us many choices to make it our day. They had something for everyone's budget. Also, the written guides and information they gave us for planning, made for literally a perfect day. If Lora wasn't available to answer our ongoing questions and calls, or those from our vendors such as the DJ, Max was right there to help. Lora was so patient and so helpful every step of the way..The day of our wedding our banquet captain was always right there..The room? When I stepped through the door to walk down the isle, it took my breath away, it was so beautiful..Same for the reception..My guests are still raving about everything..the beauty of the rooms, the delicious food, the wedding cake from their bakery, and the service from the staff. Astoria Banquets and Max made our wedding absolutely perfect and unforgettable! We were very pleased with how flexible and accommodating Max was and how he went above and beyond to make sure that every little detail was perfect on our big day. We had an Armenian/American wedding and Max was able to adjust the menu to include a variety of Russian/Armenian and American dishes that everybody would enjoy!

The decor and the lighting was absolutely breathtaking and the food was delicious. All of our guests were blown away by everything the moment they arrived and even weeks after the wedding, we are still receiving compliments about the venue.

We had our wedding reception at Astoria in June of 2017. A night that culminated after we first met Lora and Max (the Proprietors) 10 months earlier. They were very professional, caring and understanding from the very first moment we walked into Astoria. Lora helped us with every detail of our reception and was also tremendously helpful with suggestions and recommendations.

One of the great things about booking our event at Astoria (among many others) was the fact that our wedding cake was included within the package. We had the opportunity to taste various cakes and custom design our own, from the Baking Institute, which turned out perfectly.
We also, had the opportunity to choose our menu items, and taste the dinner and side dishes months before the event. The food was delicious for our tasting as it was for our wedding night.

The room was decorated beautifully and in perfect conjunction with our colors for the evening. Astoria has a myriad of ways to decorate the room with colors, Chandeliers, winding staircases, garden views, lighting and accessories that went beyond what we could have imagined. Since our wedding was a military affair, color schemes and patterns are hard to find. Astoria was able to accommodate us perfectly.

All of our guests enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings and décor for photos and above all the professional and caring service that Astoria gave us. The wait staff and bartenders were very helpful and accommodating and went above and beyond what one would expect. They created for us an unforgettable night.

We cannot adequately encapsulate the great qualities of Astoria and its people in such a short review; needless to say, we give it 5 out of 5 stars in every aspect and highly recommend it. Astoria is the Hidden Gem in the North Cook/Lake County area.

I first saw Astoria on Face book and immediately fell in love with their reasonable prices and the beautiful images from past weddings. We were very pleased with how flexible and accommodating everyone on the Astoria team was to all of our individual needs and details to make our Wedding Day the magical and special event that it was. All of our guests were so impressed and taken back by the beautiful and elegant style, decor, and ambiance that they created for our ceremony. The white draping package created an eniviornent that was warm, filled with love, and aligned it to our wedding vision/dream.Their servers and hostesesses were very professional and accommondating to the needs of our guest. Two of our guests indicated a food allergy on the day of the event and the chefs were able to accommodate a whole new entree for them on the spot. They had ample parking space for all of our guests, along with a great team of servers that accommodated to food/coat needs. We found that Astoria was a great venue to accommodate for our quick planning and fixed budget. Pricing was reasonable Thank you to Max and Lora for all of your help and to your patience with our millions of inquiries & emails.

We got married on a Friday night in Feb 2017 and very much enjoyed the entire experience. Max was great to work with, he was accommodating, he was available via phone nearly every time I called throughout the year and even if he wasn't, he got back to me within minutes. The entire night and still weeks after, we are getting compliments from family and friends about the venue at Astoria, people keep asking how much we spent and think it's much more than we actually did. The VALUE is definitely in this venue! Lora was so amazing throughout the entire process with all my questions and changes! The venue is gorgeous, the food amazing, everything went even better than planned. We began our night upstairs in the bride and groom suites, plenty of room to leave our personal belongings and get dressed in. We had our ceremony in the north end of the ballroom with the rest partitioned off, then a coctail hour with open bar and 3 passed hor dourves across the lobby in their lounge, a great space, with a patio just off of it that is lit up with strand lights and cast iron furniture. The bridal party took photos during this time in their beautifully decorated lobby and staircase that over looks lobby. We used the entire ballroom for our reception and took full advantage of Astoria's uplighting and backdrops that perfectly complimented their brilliant chandeliers. Astoria's wait staff were exemplary! It was so nice to be able to not have to worry about centerpieces, table linens, china, flatware, catering, lighting, backdrops, decor, seating, dance floors, coat check, wait staff, bar, or even the cake(that we picked out at The Baking Institute) and was included with all of the other things couples have to get together. I brought them a container the week of, of things they agreed to set up for me, that was helpful! They had an easy to follow payment plan(they accept Chase Quickpay) and the contract outlined all necessary schedule of events leading up to the day of. I highly recommend Astoria, no seriously, I could go on and on...Many thanks to Max, Lora, and the Astoria family for making our evening unforgettable. ~The Munnich's

I still can't believe how perfect this venue turned out to be! Astoria was perfect, and gorgeous!! Max was always so friendly and accommodating. It made planning a breeze. The exterior was the only thing that made me hesitate at first but after our wedding I got such great feedback. (Plus the food was great!! It was actually even a lot better than the tasting!) The only thing I would recommend is having 2 bartenders during cocktail hour. The line was out the door for most of our time and I personally was receiving complaints and had to ask multiple times to get some service in the bar area. Most people only got 1 drink, we did nt have any heavy drinkers in our crowd so I am not sure what was the issue.
Overall, thank you Astoria for hosting us on our special day.

What can I NOT say to rave about my wedding at Astoria!!!! Everything was AMAZING and PERFECT from start to finish!!!! Max was great to work with and always very responsive in communication. He was accommodating in requests and because of that I never felt under stress like I hear a lot of brides talk about. Astoria takes care of basically everything for you besides your DJ and photographer. The day before the wedding, I dropped off a few extra decorations that I was hoping to have scattered around the venue and Max said he would have the banquet staff take care of making sure it was set up the next day. The wedding day was perfect with absolutely no hiccups. Every bit of the day went on schedule, staff was wonderful and it was just beautiful!!! We couldn't have asked for a better evening and all of our guests had an excellent time. The food was delicious, especially when you think of how some wedding food can be so over priced yet taste like cardboard. The bar package is so affordable for top shelf, cake that is included in the package price(you get to go to the bakery and pick you flavors and design) was delicious and the bridal suite was and added bonus to get ready in. You can even choose from a great selection of centerpieces- one less stress to worry about! What a great Day!!!

Words can't express the way we feel about Astoria. If I had to choose the best way to describe Astoria, it would be old hollywood charm with a touch of glamorous. This venue is fabulous. From the owners Max and Laura, to the managers, staff, and the food! This is a venue we will actually miss because we felt at home here. The staff was excellent and treated us like family. Laura was beyond helpful in making final decisions. We hope to attend a wedding here one day just to revisit. Astoria, you will be missed !

I had my Baby Shower here at Astoria Banquets on March 6, 2016. The staff and service were Excellent. From the beginning till the end everything was perfect. The décor and lighting was Breathtaking. My family and friends enjoyed the whole event. The food and pricing was excellent. I would recommend this venue to all my family and friends. It is perfect for all occasions- We had around 225 people and it was perfect. They were very accommodating to the two different cultures and bringing in outside catering along with their food. Thank you so much for an Amazing Baby Shower for my Twins !!!!!

I worked with owners Max and Lora who were kind, patient and understanding. Having never been married and on a tight budget I was a little nervous about going into a contract. We just had a wedding ceremony and reception on July 25th 2015, and it was amazing, we love the decorations and design, our guests are still talking about our wedding, people think we spent a lot of money. Everybody was very professional, the food was great, and Frank the bartender was the best. This was a night to remember thank you Max for everything. I highly recommend Astoria exquisite banquet, you get a lot for your money and stress free.

Max was amazing to work with. Astoria is exceptionally beautiful! I can't say anything negative about my fairytale wedding. The ceremony, the open bar, the reception, the food, the lighting everything was amazing! Amazing staff and venue! Their food isn't like typical wedding food, it's really good! Lora and Max really care about you and want to make your wedding your dream wedding.

We are very happy with the service and how our wedding turned out. We have had nothing but complements on how nice of a wedding we had. Astoria provided some ease for they provided a setting for the ceremony and reception. There are many option to choose from and many upgrades to select. For the service, and in today's ever increased expense of weddings, we felt Astoria to be a value and highly memorable event.

The management of Astoria worked with us to design our wedding ceremony & reception. On the day of the wedding, the staff did a very good job on providing quality service to our guests and ourselves. We along with our guests were very happy of how eloquent our wedding ceremony and reception was. We would recommend this to anybody. The price was reasonable for the services rendered.

We had our Daughters wedding here. Max was fabulous from start to finish. Greg was so personable on the wedding night. Food was delicious. From ceremony to reception, perfect in everyway. I would advise you to not use the cake vendor that is part of the package-owner was a rude beast who tried to scam the bride. This is in no way reflected on Max at the Astoria-just pick a separate cake vendor.

This review is long over due. My wife and I had our wedding at Astoria in April. Everything was first class. Max and his team anticipated our needs and were responsive and professional from our first venue viewing to the night of our reception. Friends and family are still telling me how nice the wedding and food were and its been six months later.

I can't express how happy I was with the outcome of our ceremony and reception. They were very flexible and the communication was awesome. I would absolutely hold another event at this location. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE was pleasant.

Astoria was a great value for amazing beauty. Max was very friendly and easy to work with; he answered all of my questions via email promptly. My husband and I truly loved having our wedding at Astoria. The staff was absolutely wonderful with organizing and holding our wedding. Lora was an absolute gem and truly cares about her clients. They are flexible and were there to answer any questions that I had along the way. The night of our wedding was absolutely beautiful and my guests reported that they loved the venue and thought that it was perfect for us. Everyone was done according to plan and even set up before the estimated time of finishing. There was one mix up with a dinner, however the manager promptly addressed the issue and was fixed in less than 5 minutes (very impressive). My wedding was everything I could ask for and the venue was perfect! I would recommend this venue again to my friends and family.

We had our wedding reception at Astoria on Oct. 26, 2013. This place doesn't look very fancy or nice from the outside but it is beautiful on the inside. It's a smaller venue but can still accommodate a large wedding. Our wedding was small, only about 120 people so we only used a portion of the ballroom while another event used the other portion. Our room was set up beautifully and we didn't even notice the other event was going on. Max assisted us throughout the planning process and he was great. He always answered our questions and worked with us until everything was the way we wanted it to be. On the day of our wedding, I thought we forgot to bring the toss away bouquet and Max had several spare ones for me to choose from. Luckily, someone remembered to grab ours and we didn't need to use the one Max had for us but it was so great that he was ready and willing to help us out in a bind. The packages here are better than any other's that we found and you can't beat the prices! We loved Astoria!!

My wedding day was an absolutely fairy tale. Max & Ayla were helpful from the beginning. When you pull into the parking lot, the impression is that it is in a strip mall and you wonder what to expect. The site is gorgeous inside and as lovely as any hotel in the city. Your guests will feel like they stepped into a beautiful hotel with a classy decor. & the chairs in the foyer area are so comfy. Ayla assisted on the day of the wedding to ensure the ceremony and all my vendors were organized. My event was just perfect and they accommodated all my requests and allowed me to customize a few things with limited or no extra cost. Having a place that was not only all inclusive with decor and cake was great but the fact that they even helped us set out our favors and place cards and a ton of other little thing was so awesome! My husband and I were on a budget and we need to find somewhere that could include most of the things that usually push the budget as well as a venue that had recommended vendors that would provide us with top service as well as good prices. Astoria Exquisite Banquets was the right choice. The food was wonderful and the décor was gorgeous.

I can't say enough great things about Astoria. There are no words to express how grateful I am to them. If you want a beautiful stress free day, this is the place for you. Ayla was so sweet and extremely attentive on the day of. It was nice to know that she was always just a few steps away if we needed anything. Even Frank, the bartender, was awesome. By the time my night was over, I felt like I knew everyone that had helped us for years.

The room was absolutely gorgeous. The waitstaff was huge and helped everyone get served very quickly. Every single employee went out of their way to make everything perfect. Our cake was included in the package from The Baking Institute and it was so detailed and beautiful. There was another wedding going on at the same time but the room was nicely sound proofed and you couldn't hear anything going on unless you were in the hallway. Astoria even recommended our hotel, Wyndham Gardens, and we were so happy with that as well. Our guests were amazed with how beautiful everything was. People have told me that it looks like we spent tens of thousands of dollars. That's the great thing... we didn't have to but it definitely looked like we did! I know that I will be recommending Astoria to everyone that I know.

From start to finish, working with Astoria was a breeze. This venue is beautiful and intimate. It is decorated in an vintage mansion style and is not your run of the mill banquet hall. The colors pop, the chandeliers sparkle and our guest were really impressed as soon as they walked through the door. We used Astoria for both our Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception. Guest are still talking about how beautiful the wedding was and how great everything was from the decor to the wine selection! All this and Astoria is still reasonably priced. I highly recommend them. Ask for Lora.

I held my daughter's Sweet 16 at Astoria. It was amazing from start to finish. Everyone was wonderful. Food was great and the place is beautiful! They helped make my daughters event unforgettable.

My husband and I worked mainly with max on our reception planning and he was great!! He really listened to the things that we wanted and helped with some suggestions that he had. also lora really helped us out one day with an issues of cancellations. Not to forget that Ayla was amazing also! They were all very easy to work with and charismatic. We planned our wedding with them in only 6 weeks, and our guests thought we had been planning for at least a year from how beautiful and organized everything was. My words can not express the praise I have for Astoria Banquet Hall in preparation for my wedding day. I was assisted by Irene who helped me with the process and was so patient, helpful all the time and just nice throughout the entire process. My now husband Nelson was so impressed with everything and especially pleased with the food.

The Astoria Banquet hall could not have been more helpful. They were all very interested in getting the reception the way we dreamed. The decorating, lighting, tables, drinks, and service were all top of the line. I would recommend this hall for any occasion.

The individuals (Lora, Irene and Max) at Astoria Banquets were absolutely wonderful. Working with them was effortless. Lora was patient and understanding to my wants and needs. She was ALWAYS available for all of my questions. I felt like I was working with friends and family instead of working with people I didn't know. Our special day went so smoothly.

The facility was absolutely beautiful and the food was fantastic! Astoria is equipped to make your event any way you’d like. I feel that our event exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds!

AMAZING!!! The first word that comes to mind to describe my experience with Astoria Banquets. From the beginning Lara was very helpful in making my vision come true. My wedding day was PERFECT, there was not a single detail that we talked about that was missing. The staff was awesome the day of. Especially the bartender (I believe his name was Frank) he made sure my guest were "happy". We even convinced him to take a picture in the photo booth =), he happily obliged. We had a situation were we learned the DJ was a vegetarian the day of the wedding. Our server asked the chef if he could do anything and he kindly made some pasta for the DJ. This made me very happy; and so was the DJ; he kept the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT LONG. I guess a little broccoli can go a long way...
The food was AWESOME, my guest are still commenting on the grilled shrimp and chicken we served. Overall, I had an amazing experience with Astoria. I would recommend them to any bride; big budget or small they can do it all.

EDIT: OMG, how can I forget about the uplighting and Gobo. F A B U L O U S!!!! I was blown away with how good they looked at the reception. I really think Astoria should add more items to their decor. They do a great job with decorating. It is really refreashing as a bride to come to a venue where you can get everything you need for decor. CHECK WITH ASTORIA FIRST before looking into other decor options.

We just had our reception at Astoria at the end of April 2011 and they were awesome! They always returned my calls and were extremely flexible up until the week of the wedding. Our service was incredible the night of the reception. They catered to our needs and all of our guests. Everyone raved about how excellent the food and cake were. The room looked beautiful and they tailored everything to match our style and color scheme. I would recommend Astoria to any of our friends and family members!

We had a small ceremony and reception (50 guests) so we opted for the smaller room because the bar area was so pretty and the color scheme was so warm. It all just fell together perfectly with our fall themed ceremony.

The staff was a pleasure to work with, any questions/concerns we had were addressed right away and were made to feel like everything was taken care of.

Also, we can't leave out the service staff. Our bartender and servers were so attentive and looked like they were actually happy to be there as well! =)

I was absolutely blown away by Astoria Banquets. My wedding could not have been more stress free. They work with your budget and give you the biggest bang for your buck. Every single one of their staff members is so friendly (I actually became friends with one of them through my experience), but as friendly as they are they are still very professional. They remind you about everything that is coming up (food tasting, payments, etc.) they are so helpful and answer all of your questions. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone!

They were so accommodating and made sure everything was right.Here’s the most amazing thing that Astoria did for me.After we arrived at the hall, the limo took off so quick I forgot my bouquet! We tried calling the driver to come back, but it was too late. I was in the bridal suite, so mad and devastated that I didn’t have my flowers for the ceremony and there came Max with a beautiful bouquet! I don’t know where he got it, but he saved the day and my memories. Thank you so much.

Our wedding reception was a night to remember and it was due to Max and Irene and all of their staff that helped pull this off. I wanted a place that would have it all, ambiance, class, great food, and all for the right price and the Astoria was it. I called Max with a million questions along with several emails and he always got right back to me and everyone was very professional. My only suggestion is if you have a tendency to get hot make sure the heat is off because it ended up getting pretty hot in there but nothing to ruin the evening, thats for sure. I also used their cake recommendations and that was amazing along with the food Oh my goodness was that good, right down to the green beans that were nothing like Ive ever had. Everyone of my guests were raving about this evening for weeks afterwards. I had alot of out of town guests that we wanted to please and we did. I also used the hotel Wyndham in the area for out of towners and we got a discount because of the Astoria and that was perfect and comfortable for everyone. I wanted so much for this to be a night of romance not only for myself but for all of my guests and thats exactly what it was, Irene stuck around throughout the reception making sure everything went as planned and even helped me with my DJ so I wouldnt have to take anytime away from my night. The waitstaff was so nice and accomadating throughout the night as well. Overall this was a perfect night and Im so grateful. Also I changed my mind on certain decor or ideas and they were always willing to work with me and we didnt want to include alcohol so they allowed me to substitute with decorations so they were flexible in everyway.. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a beautiful romantic wedding reception where everyone will truly enjoy their evening embracing the beauty thats all around them ,with the rooms they are capable of creating for you.

We could not have been happier with all of the vendors that were a part of our wedding! My husband dropped off the guest favors to Astoria the day before which were the main part of the table decor and the staff did an excellent job setting it up. Everything was so beautiful! The staff were very helpful and polite. Astoria has a choice on their baker now too and we highly recommend going through The Baking Institute. The cake they made for our wedding was exactly what we wanted, absolutely beautiful and tasted even better! We cannot even tell you how many of our guests commented on how beautiful and fun our wedding was! Not one complaint!

We rented out the entire venue. Starting with the crystal wedding ceremony, which as absoultely beautiful and then we "flowed" into the reception.

The food, service and professionalism were there on that Day. On your wedding day you want to feel very special and we were treated like royalty.

From the beginnng to the end, Lora, Max, Irene and staff were very easy to deal with. Whether planning the venue, making appointments to meet or changing the seating for the reception, they were always pleasant and very helpful.

Our guests are still reeling about what a wonderful wedding it was, how beautiful the place was, how good the food was and what a wonderful time they had.

Very pleased with all aspects, from initial planning, tasting, coordination, linens and d�cor. No detail was overlooked. We were made to feel that there was nothing to worry about. All the food was terrific and staff gets highest praise for us.. We also had crystal ceremony with them and what a relief to have it all at once, by far the easiest decision we had to make. Our photographer loved it too, all photos came out amazing. THANKS!!
