We are sooo happy and excited to have Ashley photographing our wedding this fall. She is THE photographer to choose if you want a natural yet elevated curation of photos of your loved ones. We just had our engagement shoot and she put us completely at ease. I'm not super comfortable in front of the camera and was nervous I may feel stiff, but she made me and my fiancé feel like naturals and I cannot wait to see the shots! -

Wow Ashley was so fantastic to work with and her work is incredible. Do yourself a favor and book her for your elopement! You will be in complete awe of your wedding photos!! And she makes you feel so comfortable during your photo session, it really feels like your are just hanging out with a close friend. -

This girl is seriously an artist! My fiancé and I had the absolute best time shooting our engagement photos. Best part, we got to see amazing Asheville views at the same time. She met us at the top of Max Patch Mt. at 5 AM. The photos are incredible. If your hesitating, quit already and hire this girl. -

Wedding 11.10.2020
Ashley Steffens puts her heart into creating the perfect moment. Our wedding day was rainy , cold and foggy up in the Blue Ridge mountains. We hiked down to a beautiful waterfall and she captured the most perfect pictures. Our family and friends continue to say how magical it looks. She goes above and beyond for her clients and is incredibly sweet! We will be back to the Asheville area and will 100% use her again down the road! You will not be disappointed! -

Ashley is fantastic! What a delightful professional who is dedicated to her craft and immensely talented. From start to finish she has been a breeze to work with. She is very thorough and straight forward in building your vision, answering questions, and designing a package to suit your needs. Her work is top notch and will be something we treasure for the rest of our lives. We had not met her or worked with her directly before our wedding day (Covid and budget limits) but she was able to put us at ease and get us comfortable in front of her camera right away. Ashley is a true professional talent. We are so happy we were able to work with her. Ashley and her team have been a god send during these times. I am a COVID bride and all throughout this process Ashley sent out multiple update emails to help ease our worries about everything. We had our engagement shoot with Erika who was the sweetest photographer. She made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable right from the jump. We ended up having to postpone our wedding due to COVID and Ashley is working with us every step of the way. I am so happy that we found them and I can't wait for Erika to shoot our wedding. I couldn’t be happier with the photos that Ashley took of our elopement, every single one of them is so beautiful! Ashley is super easy to work with and was flexible when we had to change our plans multiple times due to the pandemic, which we are super thankful for considering every other aspect of planning the elopement was really stressful. If you get the opportunity, I would definitely recommend booking Ashley for your wedding/elopement! -

Unreal Photos!
We decided to have a small ceremony and reception instead of a traditional wedding. We also decided to do all of this in Asheville, a place we love, but aren’t intimately familiar with. We chose Ashley after looking at her portfolio online and speaking with her over the phone. She has been the best investment in our wedding thus far! Never having professional photos taken, we were a little nervous about the process and opted for an engagement session. Ashley helped us pick our location and made lots of calls the day of to make sure things went as planned. She also provided a “what to wear guide” and made us feel comfortable throughout the session. Even my fiancé thought it was fun! Ashley was quick to turn around the pictures and they more than exceeded our expectations! I can’t wait to get some printed, and I’m even more excited to see what she’s going to capture on our wedding day! -

My fiance and I hired Ashley to shoot our wedding photos and she was absolutely fantastic! She met with me a few weeks prior to go through the schedule, list of photos we wanted to be sure we had which was super helpful and saved a lot of time day of. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable on the day of, gave great direction of how to stand, where to put our hands, etc. She also did a great job of checking in with us to ask us how we were doing and was so warm and friendly. We recently got our pictures back and they are stunning! I am so so thankful she was our photographer and would absolutely hire her again. -

Ashley did our Engagement session and is doing our wedding next month. We just received our sneak peak from our engagement session and I am speechless. Lauren Sent on 09/12/2018Ashley photographed my wedding on September 1st, along with my engagement photos, and I could not be more thrilled with how the photos turned out! Her photography style is absolutely gorgeous, and she is great at capturing moments naturally- nothing overly posed. I was worried about looking awkward in photos, but Ashley provides tons of guidance during the sessions and makes it easy. She is also super responsible and helped keep us on a schedule throughout the night. All of our vendors were amazing, but choosing Ashley for our photographer was the best choice! The photos are the only thing from our wedding that we are able to keep forever, and these photos are seriously stunning and capture our emotions perfectly.

I met with her and absolutely loved her personality and her work. I could not be happier with the choice we made! She was so easy to work with and was ready waiting on us at the venue in the midst of all the chaos! She made it fun and comfortable in front of her for the photos and was all in all amazing! On top of all that she had our sneak peeks to us the day after!!! The photos are even more perfect than I could have imagined. She is incredible at what she does and if you are thinking about booking with her I definitely encourage you to do so! Also, her second shooter was just as fun and awesome and even danced with us! She helped us choose the perfect time of day for the lighting and helped us plan the style and type of photos we wanted. On the day of our wedding she organized the first look shots and helped us pick the perfect locations for the rest of our photos. Our sneak peek photos came quickly and were perfect for helping us announce our marriage. The rest of our photos took approx 7 weeks to arrive and they were worth the wait! She gave us nearly 200 amazing photos that perfectly captured the day. We are glad we chose Ashley to photograph our wedding and are so happy to have so many amazing photos to always remember our amazing day.

Alyssa Sent on 08/06/2017Ashley was the perfect match for our wedding day. She is bubbly and a joy to work with. Our photographs are gorgeous and the exact "vibe" we were going for. My only wish was that we were positioned funny in some of the family pictures and I wish (perhaps her assistant?) would have said something. Other than that the photographs are amazing and the box she sends after the wedding is such an amazing touch!
