As a photographer, you work closely with wedding coordinators and always PRAY that they are well organized and ON IT. Working with Ashley Rose was nothing but seamless!! Katie and her assistant were SO kind and extremely prepared and helpful with anything we needed the day of (and before) the wedding! I would recommend them to anyone looking for someone to get things done, able to pivot when needed, and have your special event stress free and memorable. They went above and beyond and we can't wait to work with them again ☺️ -

Julia worked as our day of coordinator. Well before the big day, she was full of wonderful advice and suggestions. This is part of hiring a seasoned pro. On our wedding day, she made sure everything ran like clockwork. While setting up in the morning, we began to have a meltdown when we discovered that we needed to make a big shift in the way the guest tables were setup. She saved us from a stressful moment, handling the snafu with aplomb. We can’t imagine our day without her help. We would recommend her without hesitation! -

Cannot speak highly enough about Julia / Ashley Rose Events. We had our wedding on a family property, which posed many challenges as we did not have the help of a traditional venue. Julia was with us every step of the way, even though we only contracted her for our day-of. And, on the day itself, she ensured everything flowed flawlessly, allowing for a magical event for us and our guests. -

Katie made my day perfect.
No words will be able to describe how good of a job Katie from Ashley Rose did, so here comes a long review!!! My day was PERFECT. From the moment I booked Katie she was kind and compassionate towards me and really understood what I was looking for. Then our first phone call meeting showed her professionalism and how skilled she is at her job. She saw my vision and was able to help me on the things I wasn’t sure about yet. She was very communicative; responded to my many many questions immediately every time! Wedding day was a whole other story. I am so grateful for every ounce of hard work and dedication she had for our special day. I am a perfectionist and was nervous about my decor and the set up… no need. Katie made every single detail PERFECT and exactly like my vision. Additionally, I fell ill on my wedding day and Katie made timeline changes and last minute vendor communications with ease. She made me feel reassured all day long and even ran out to the store to get me anything possible to make me feel better. She handled family and friend dynamics incredibly well for those minor hiccups, and made me feel supported all day long! Katie got lots of compliments from my guests, “she really has it together!!” “Katie is worth her weight in gold.” I couldn’t have even imagined doing this without her. -

We had such a fantastic experience with Julia from Ashley Rose Events as our wedding coordinator! She was incredibly professional and always available to chat or text whenever we needed her. Julia was really dedicated to making our wedding dreams come true, and she helped us figure everything out to ensure the day went smoothly.
One of the standout moments was when I realized I forgot to get a garter. Julia went out on the day of the wedding and found one for me- talk about going the extra mile! She also helped us plan our hand sculpture, which we had to do blindfolded since it couldn't happen during the ceremony due to timing.
Julia truly cares about the couples she works with and strives to make everything perfect. I genuinely enjoyed collaborating with her, and I can't recommend her enough. She’s simply the best! -

Kim Swanson from Ashley Rose was my day-of coordinator and she did an amazing job! Ashley Rose provided a thorough planning guide that helped me know that I was on the right track. Then, about a month before the wedding Kim took over all contact with my vendors. It was such a blessing to have someone, other than me, field most of the questions.
Kim ran the entire rehearsal. On wedding day she kept everyone following the timeline, handled any last minute issues and executed my decor vision perfectly! I am so thankful I had a professional in my corner! -

Our experience was so amazing I'm not sure where to start. Julia was: super helpful, responsive, there for our every need, made sure we had everything from start to finish throughout the entire process. On the wedding day she did any/everything we needed including helping taking care of our 18m/o daughter or setting up the pack-n-play for her. She and her daughter also set up all our decorations first thing in the morning allowing us all the time to get ready and work with the photographer.
I would highly recommend her to everyone! -

Julia was absolutely amazing! She was there ready to work and help with everything that we needed. She went above and beyond her services. When we got there for hair and make up Julia was already there setting up decorations. She was really organized and stayed on task with everything she did to make our special day was perfect. She made really good connections with everyone there even with the two kiddos we had for the ceremony. We seriously cannot recommend her enough. Truly amazing and outstanding!

Kim will make your day incredible!
Kim Swanson with Ashley rose was a god sent when it came to our wedding. My husband and I had a long engagement and had worked out the large details pretty far in advance. When Kim came to help us with all our fine details, she made our day perfect. She handled all my vendors and contacts, she reminded me of all the little things I was forgetting, she coordinated all of the fine details and made sure I was staying on track with everything that needed done. She did all the background work for me which took a HUGE load off my plate and I was able to focus on other things. Kim planned my day of timeline down to perfection, she made sure we stayed on time throughout the whole day and was very flexible with all of our events. Kim took care of setting up the majority of our reception and ceremony decor along with our venue. She decorated our arch exactly as I had requested and made sure our ceremony space was absolutely perfect. I was not made aware of one single problem throughout the entire day because Kim took care of everything. At the end of the night when it was time to exit, Kim made sure all of my stuff and my husbands stuff were in our get away car and then she helped pack all of our other stuff into my parents cars. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing. When I say it’s worth it to hire her, I truly mean it is. You will not have any regrets at all! My day went so smoothly and I have no doubt it’s because of Kim with Ashley rose events! -

Our wedding (9/16/23) wouldn't have been such a success without the coordination and support of Julia of Ashley Rose Events! She was prepared for EVERYTHING!! She sewed a button on my Dad's tuxedo the morning of the wedding, had a whole kit of items for any sort of mishap that may happen, and communicated with us every step of the way. I know she must have gotten in at least 30,000 steps on our wedding day because she was FLYING between our ceremony location and venue and up and down flights of stairs to make sure everything was where it was supposed to be. She was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend her services for anyone looking for a wedding/event coordinator. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING JULIA!!!!! -

Wedding at Natural Bridge
We had an immaculate wedding weekend (10/8) all thanks to Julia! I cannot put into words how AMAZING her services were. We thought we were only hiring a wedding coordinator but little did we know that she was a jack of all trades, magician included! My mother’s dress needed a hem-no big deal for Julia who tailored it to the perfect length with pins. Missing a boutonnière? Not a problem-Julia delicately constructed one out of miscellaneous flowers from my decorations!
My family and friends all felt safe, comfortable and relaxed around her, almost as if she were family. Her laid back presence and down to earth personality are by far a truly redeeming qualities to have in this profession and it surely shined through. I had no moments of panic (which says a lot for something with anxiety!) as Julia handled any qualms on her behalf. If we could have wedding again I would not change a single thing and I have your company to thank as a whole.
I cannot Recommend this company enough and hopefully you get lucky enough to have Julia Harris as your coordinator! -

I don't even know where to begin, but Katie and her assistant Kim were the most organized and on top of it coordinators. From our very first phone call with Katie, I felt completely comfortable trusting her with our day (and for anyone that knows me this doesn't happen often). On our wedding day she made sure every small detail was exactly how I wanted it. If I wasn't sure, she went ahead and did it how she thought would look best, and took my vision beyond what I had imagined. Even with the weather being completely crazy, she was ready with both ceremony sites and allowed me to make the last minute call (although weather wasn't on our side this day). Katie is absolutely amazing, and somehow kept the vendors, bridal party, and guests all on track while looking so calm and composed. Katie, we still are talking about how you made the day so special for us, so thank you!! :) -

We booked Ashley Rose Wedding & Events in the winter of 2019 for day-of coordination of my daughter’s September 2020 wedding. As a result of the uncertainty due to Covid we had two date changes, finally settling on September 2021, and we really appreciated their flexibility as the dates (and venue) shifted over time. With the bride living on the west coast, phone and email communications were critical and the Ashley Rose team was very flexible. Although we did speak with several different reps over the course of 20 months of date changes and planning, Katie Swanson was assigned to us about 12 months out from the final date. She was very organized and kicked into high gear about 6 weeks out and kept us honest with the timeline, reaching out to all of our vendors to ensure they were on board with the timeline, and then herding the wedding party around for the rehearsal. Not an easy feat. Somehow Katie managed to keep the mob to the timeline on the wedding day and everything went without a hitch, from start to finish. Most important, she got a bead on the participants at the rehearsal and brought coloring books and gummies to the ceremony to help distract the young flower girls who were intent on not sticking to the script. For that, we are forever grateful for her mom skills! -

We highly recommend Ashley Rose Events for wedding coordination and planning needs! Thank you so much to Katie, our wedding weekend coordinator, for your kindness, spunk, professionalism, and services. She coordinated communication between our vendors throughout the weeks leading up to our wedding events and put together a timeline for our entire weekend. She managed the movement of our Bridal Party and our ceremonial sponsors. Katie led such a smooth ceremony rehearsal and coordinated a successful ceremony at Old Pate Chapel in working with me, Pastor Billy, and the staff from Liberty University. Our reception at The Virginian Hotel was absolnutely perfect - Katie quickly resolved the very few minor issues that came up behind-the-scenes that no one knew about. My husband and I experienced zero stress on our day because we were in good hands, and thanks to Katie and our other wonderful vendors, we were able to truly enjoy our time together and with our loved ones, as well as take all the special moments in. ON TOP OF EVERYTHING!
Katie listened to my vision and helped me create a beautifully tropical and classy wedding in the middle of Lynchburg, VA. She guided me to the most perfect vendors (which is difficult), worked with me when I changed my mind 50x, and corresponded with me all the time. We worked through the wedding planning process at my convenience and I never felt rushed whatsoever. I felt like the one and only bride she was dealing with, which made me feel so special. My MOH, Mother, and now husband loved working with her too. She made sure all vendors and wedding party members knew what they needed to do and when, more than a week before the wedding. I did not even have ANY stress on my wedding weekend because I knew she would handle it all. As a perfectionist and control freak, this says a lot!
You will only be blown away by Ashley Rose Events. THANK YOU for being my planner AND my new friend! -

Everyone that worked with Rachel on the day of my wedding was highly impressed and raved to me about her. Rachel ensured that I was stress free the entire day of my wedding and that really meant a lot to me. I am a very organized, Type A person who was involved with every planning detail and wanted the perfect day, but I knew I needed a day-of coordinator in order to let go and enjoy the day. Rachel took over about two weeks out to create my timeline and coordinate with all my vendors. I truly did not stress once the day of my wedding because Rachel had it all handled. She kept us on schedule, thought of all the tiny details the day of and made everything go smoothly. The ceremony was so smooth because of how prepared she got us at the rehearsal the night before. She also put up wih my constant stress texts the week before when rain was in the forecast all week and ensured me the day would be perfect. (It was and it didn't rain one drop!) I can't recommend her and Ashley Rose Events enough! -

I had the most wonderful experience getting to meet and work with Katie Swanson she was absolutely PHENOMENAL! She made sure everything was in place spotted details that I the bride had missed and even brought me tea when my anxiety tried to get the best of me. Words cannot express how elated and grateful I am and was to be able to work with such a great person. Our coordinator did not miss a beat holding the umbrella as I walked down the asile in the rain of our venue. I truly appreciate all her hard work and dedication to showed to us on our special day. At Ashley Rose Events my girl Katie S. is a recent hire.. I’ve know Katie for almost two years now, but I feel I’ve know her a lifetime. She was my MOH in my wedding and when I tell she has it together. SHE. HAS. IT. TOGETHER. She planned my Bridal Shower with so much ease and Grace. She helped me not become a bridezilla when things didn’t turned out as planned. She stepped up, sat me down and SHE took take of it. Did I keep thinking about it? NOPE because I knew it would get handle immediately.
Without a question Katie would be the best wedding planner for your wonderful day, who has great attention to detail, listens to what you want/need and gets it done. She’s the most organized person I know and is dedicated to her family, friends and work. ~Kaily M. -

Andrea was the absolute best throughout the entire planning of my wedding. She is so thoughtful and precise with every detail. She was actually apart of my bridal party and planned my bridal shower and made all of my pinterest dreams come true! Jenn and the team at Ashley rose events were on-point, decisive, and very helpful. Planning a wedding can be stressful -or at least it was for us. After signing the contract with the venue sales rep, our experience with the venue turned to disaster; however, miracles did happen when we met Jenn, co-owner of Ashley Rose Events. From the first time we met, Jenn made us feel at ease and listened to our concerns about the venue. We gave her our venue contact and she said not to worry and let her handle it! I felt like all the stress had stripped off of our shoulders. Not only did she help negotiate the costs with the venue but also made sure we received what we paid for -and more. She helped with the rehearsal, kept everyone in check and on time so it went smoothly. Personally, I'm a control freak so I want to be in the know for everything about the plan, decorations, etc... Jenn told me to relax and let her take care of all of it. For the day of the wedding, not only was she there but she brought her whole team to assist us with anything that we might need. Our photographer was short an assistant for the day-of and Ashley was there to help fill in. The DJ misplaced one of the videos and Jenn had it up and running at the snap of a finger. Even despite the park police being uneasy about the set up, she went above and beyond to make sure we had it OUR WAY. Not a moment did I have any concerns about anything going wrong because Jenn and team took care of it. The day went perfectly just how I envisioned it. My husband and I felt like kings! These women are serious about their jobs and the couples they work with. I highly recommend Ashley Rose Events for any of your events and wedding planning! -

Wedding Planner = Stress Minimizer!
I am a venue manager at a Museum, and Jenn coordinated a wedding we hosted recently. Jenn was an absolute pleasure to work with: she's an efficient & effective communicator, she's extremely detail-oriented, and she's delightfully friendly through it all! As a museum, we have many guidelines for special events, and Jenn made sure they were followed to a T! Having a planner like Jenn at the helm of a wedding makes the process so much more enjoyable not just for the couple, but for fellow vendors as well! -

The Ashley Rose team were incredibly helpful, professional and had some really great ideas to make our day very special. They asked us to let them handle the small details that can drive you crazy and detract from the day and it was exactly what we needed. We had a large crowd and an outdoor wedding, so the opportunity for catastrophe was high, but they handedly took care of everything we needed and the day went off without a hitch. Communicating with vendors for us, handling payments day of, directing decorators and setup people. What they accomplished in the time they had was amazing and we really appreciate their dedication to making our day wonderful. -

Ashley and her staff were great to work with and went over and beyond to ensure our day and night transitioned smoothly. Me, the groom had blood from a cut finger get on my ivory tux and her and her staff worked the blood stain out. They loaded all the gifts in the car after the receptions, kept the timeline on track, drinks, food in our hands, packed food to go,and managed the other vendors. I found out a day later, a toilet stopped up at the reception and Ashley fixed it without hesitation. Definitely worth the money and took the stress off us. -

Ashley did an amazing job with both planning and day-of coordinating for my wedding in September 2019. She made the entire process easy and fun! She scheduled the venue tours, attended vendor meetings with us, and was always available if we needed her. Ashley supported us throughout the wedding planning process! She was amazing and we couldn't have done it without her... from finding the perfect venue for Katy and Michael to helping us pick and contact the "just right" vendors (food, hair/makeup, flowers, photographer, videographer, caterer, etc.) She met with us numerous times, set up and accompanied us to appointments, and was always a text or phone call away when we had questions. We relied on her expertise throughout the process. Ashley is SO organized and efficient... her timelines and schedules were excellent. Ashley and Emily worked together at the rehearsal and wedding day to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their positive energy was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day for our daughter's wedding. -

Best Day-Of Coordinator!
Ashley did such an INCREDIBLE job making sure my day was totally perfect! Even my friends and family commented on how happy I looked and how it seemed like I was enjoying my day and not stressing about anything - which was because I knew I was in capable hands with Ashley as my Day-Of Coordinator. Ashley was in contact with all of the vendors to make sure everything arrived on time and was set up how we had discussed. She created the timelines which ensured the wedding went smoothly. People always say that at least one thing goes wrong on your wedding day, but if that is true I still don't know about it because my day was absolutely perfect (sounds cliche but its true)! Ashley even made sure my husband and I left with a to go bag of food and wedding cake! She was so easy to get in touch with and was able to make great suggestions to make the day go smoothly! This was easily the best decision I made when choosing vendors was to have Ashley Rose Events be my Day-Of Coordination for the wedding. -

When we first met Ashley at our initial meeting, she said her main goal was that on our wedding day, we would be able to relax and not have to take care of last minute details or anything was unexpected or incomplete. She went above and beyond that, and my husband and I had complete confidence in her to advocate for our desires during our wedding day. We had to make last minute changes due to weather, and the outcome was absolutely stunning. Ashley was a crucial part of our day and wedding planning process. She listened to our needs, allowed us the freedom to relax & enjoy our wedding, and treated us more like friends than clients. We’re so thankful to her for everything!!

Jenn did an incredible job on my wedding!! I contacted her very LATE in the game (2 months before the wedding) feeling overwhelmed about not having enough money or time or knowledge and she was so sweet and helpful. She made me feel relaxed about everything - it was like a HUGE weight had been lifted. She did a perfect job on everything. I couldn't be more pleased with her work. Everything went off without a hitch - decor, ceremony, photos - everything was beautiful and the day was one of the highlights of my life. Hire her if you want a perfect wedding. Thank you Jenn! -

I didn’t have a single worry or fear of something going wrong for the entire day. Ashley was extremely professional and somehow managed to deal with my crazy self throughout the whole process.
