I cannot recommend Ashley Peterson Photography highly enough. She was everything we hoped for in a photographer — and then some. Her professionalism, flexibility, calm energy, and genuine care made a huge impact on our wedding day (which came with some... unexpected heat-related drama).
On the day of our wedding, it was 98 degrees with a heat index of 105. Right after the ceremony, I nearly passed out from the heat. Ashley immediately shifted gears — helping me get to a cool, air-conditioned space and coordinating with the venue team to make sure I had water and time to recover. She and her second shooter didn’t miss a beat. While my husband and I regrouped privately for about an hour, Ashley quietly reorganized the timeline and made sure we still captured every photo we wanted later on — and more.
Thanks to her calm presence and seamless adaptability, no one even realized something had gone off script. It was truly amazing how she made everything feel like it had been planned that way all along.
Aside from being a heatwave hero, her photography is stunning. I got sneak peeks back quickly (a lifesaver when you’re dying to relive the day), and I’m already in love with every image. Her editing style is clean, timeless, and full of warmth — and she has such a gift for capturing real, in-the-moment emotion.
Ashley also followed up with me a few days after the wedding just to check in and see how I was doing — which speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. Not just a talented professional, but a genuinely kind and thoughtful human.
If you're looking for a photographer who not only delivers incredible photos but also brings grace, kindness, and composure to your big day — Ashley is the one. -

I LOVE my photos from Ashley! She is so on point with her directions on where to stand and where to look. She knows exactly what she is doing and she edits her photos beautifully! I am so happy I chose her to do my photos! I will always recommend her again and again! If she didn't live farther away from me, I would use her as my family photographer in a heartbeat! Having her on FB, I still might!

Ashley was the photographer from our wedding on September 11, 2021, as well as our engagement photos. She was awesome to work with! She took into account our preferences, but gave plenty of guidance (since neither myself nor my fiance are very comfortable posing for pictures, this was greatly appreciated). The groomsmen let me know that they were grateful to have clear direction as well. She did an excellent job capturing our special day. She delivered stunning photos and kept us on track with photos during the entire wedding day. -

I cannot say enough great things about Ashley. She is amazing to work with not only because of her fantastic work but also her great personality. We had some uncooperative weather, to say the least, for both the engagement session and wedding but would never know when looking at our photos. Ashley went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I got exactly what we wanted. She’s simply the best in my opinion! -

Simply Perfect!
Ashley was incredibly professional and responsive to our needs throughout the entire wedding process! She brought a calmness to our day, and was so helpful, even outside of her photographer duties (someone dumped an entire beer down my dress and she was the first one to me asking me what I needed...god bless)! We would recommend Ashley 1000000 times over to anyone who is looking for a photographer, and we can't wait to work with her again in the future! Thank You Ashley!!!!!! -

Ashley Is the best! I was so excited to have Ashley as our photographer at our wedding! She did exactly what I wanted but added her special touch! In return we have portraits that I never dreamed would be so beautiful! One of the things i said that I was not going to cut corners on at our wedding was having a great photographer. These were once in a lifetime photos that couldn't be duplicated! Well, I got just what I wanted... a great photographer. We just loved her and her work!!! -

Ashley is incredibly talented, always professional, and works hard to provide some of the most beautiful and personalized photos for your events. I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else. She shot a beautiful wedding that I found on a blog, so I emailed her to ask if she could tell me where the venue was. She was incredibly sweet, provided a lot of helpful information and I was so thankful that she took time out of her day to help me out. I knew from that moment that I had to have her at my wedding. Ashley took our engagement photos, which was our first time in front of a professional camera. She was super laid back and her talent and creativity showed when she was able to quickly find unique photo opportunities at the venue. Most importantly, she made us feel comfortable and kept us laughing! The same was true on our wedding day. It rained and poured all morning but she didn't let that get in the way. She found alternative places to take pictures and when the rain finally stopped later in the evening, she brought us back outside to shoot some more. She was patient with the group but made sure to manage time and catch all of the family and friend photos I asked for. I still go back and look at our wedding pictures on a weekly basis and fall in love with our pictures every single time. Ashley, we appreciate you more than you'll ever know!

Jaclyn Sent on 10/17/2017What can I say about Ashley...she is truly phenomenal. Not only as a photographer, but as a professional vendor to work with leading up to and on your wedding day. Ashley did our engagement photos on a 20 degree day in February at 6 am. While the weather made it not the most comfortable for taking outdoor pictures, she made it a fun and easy experience for two people that had never had professional pictures taken before. Our photos turned out amazing.
Ashley was also our photographer on the day of our wedding. She showed up almost an hour early in order to get extra pictures of us getting ready and truly took on more of a coordinator role than her job description requires. She is able to deliver truly flawless and beautiful pictures in stressful environments and under non-ideal environments, and always acts professional and poised. Working with Ashley was a great experience and would definitely recommend her to any future brides!! -

Page Sent on 05/19/2017Ashley is worth every penny! We haven't received all of our images yet but every photo we've seen so far has exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding photos. Her work is amazing but besides that, she's a really sweet and funny person to work with. She often just says things as she thinks them when directing you to pose a certain way and usually that lead us to a lot of laughter and confused looks. (Don't worry, she re-explained what she meant) She's genuine, kind, funny, honest, and her work is stellar...like REALLY STELLAR! Her second shooter, Heather, deserves a shout out too because she and Ashley make a great team. We're so happy we chose Ashley for our wedding day. In my book the quality of her work is worth far more than she charges! We love you Ashley!! -
