Working with Ashley was truly a dream! She made our entire planning process so seamless and stress free! We aren’t from the area so she really helped us with all of our questions and gave incredible vendor recommendations. Anytime I had a question for her or a vendor she was right on top of it which really made the planning process a dream. She truly knows the wedding industry like the back of her hand!! Our wedding day ran absolutely so seamless and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without her and her team! -

Ashley was absolutely amazing. The whole process truly felt like having a close friend give me advice and help plan the perfect day. No matter how many times or what time of day I would reach out with a question Ashley was very prompt and always there to help. The day of the wedding was coordinated to perfection and I will without a doubt recommend Ashley to all my friends who get married in the future! -

My daughter, Katie and her fiancé Beau, were wed in Morro Bay 2/2/25 at Windows on the Water.
I found Ashley online and reached out to her to be our “day of wedding coordinator”.
From the beginning she was gracious and open to all our plans- that seemed to be constantly changing!
Ashley made planning our destination wedding an enormous success…and we had
only six months to plan the grand event.
We took it upon ourselves to do the designs, lighting, table scapes and florals. Having Ashley to bounce ideas off of was priceless.
Ashely coordinated and ran the entire rehearsal and stayed for the set up that evening. She and Hannah worked hard to get everything in place so we would not have much to do the day of the wedding.
The ceremony and the reception were beautiful. We counted on her for all the “day of” finishing touches and she kept everyone on time (not our family’s strength). She coordinated all the vendors and made sure we had all “had crossed all our t’s and had dotted all our i’s”. She even took some pictures that no one else had captured. We all loved that they effortlessly were able to mix and mingle with our guests.
Ashley and her assistant, Hannah, went above and beyond to make Katie and Beau’s wedding day run smoothly and look spectacular!
I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and their excellent work ethic. Together they made all the behind the scenes activities seamless.

We can't say enough great things about Ashley! From the moment we started planning our wedding, she was an absolute lifesaver. Despite the rain on our big day and a timeline that had to be pushed back, Ashley handled every challenge with grace and professionalism. She ensured that everything ran smoothly, keeping us calm and on track even when things didn’t go as planned. -

Made our wedding perfect
My wife and I could not have asked for anyone better than Ashley! We hired her as a month-of-coordinator but she went above and beyond.
Prior to the wedding day she was there to provide wedding planning advice, stepped in when I was getting frustrated with one of our vendors and communicated perfectly to us + all vendors regarding the timelines.
On the wedding day her and her team were superstars. Not only did she ensure all timelines and vendors were kept on track but did it with patience, professionalism and assertiveness. Many guests and catering staff members have told me how personable but effective she was. She set up our decorations and tables better than we even imagined could happen. She has an eye for design and a creative vision. Some things went wrong but my wife and I only heard about them after Ashley swooped in and provided quick solutions. She also encouraged a great party environment by giving advice to our DJ to make the dance floor more electric, took initiative with using our Polaroid cameras to take guest photos, and just created a happy environment with every interaction with our guests.
I am not always the easiest person to work with but she “managed” me perfectly! She heard me out on my ideas, but wasn’t afraid to make herself heard on important topics. She gave great advice backed by over a decade of experience.
I would highly recommend Ashley as a wedding planner, month of coordinator, day of coordinator, or anything else. She can help you make your event better than you would ever imagine!
Thank you Ashley for being a huge reason why our wedding was so special!

Ashley was a calm energy from the start. She was highly organized and easy to get ahold of. She was willing to answer all questions at any time. We did the month of coordination with Ashley and she had a detailed list to make sure we had everything we needed. On the day of the event, she stayed calm, kept me staying calm, and executed my vision perfectly. She was quick to laugh and eager to please. She communicated wonderfully with all our vendors and made the entire process seamless. 10/10 -

We weren't sure if we were going to hire a day of coordinator. But, I can't imagine our wedding without Ashley and her team. She made sure everything was exactly as we wanted it and created a timeline and kept everything moving the way it should. Ashley took the stressful part of communicating with vendors and all the setup of the ceremony site and reception venue and just made everything seriously perfect. We were able to be in the moment and enjoy our wonderful day and guests instead of being distracted with trying to coordinate everything. Ashley and her team made us feel like we should as the Guests of Honor. Ashley took on everything and delivered the most beautiful day with a smile. We highly recommend Ashley May Events! -

Ashley is THE absolute best wedding coordinator and made our wedding day more sweet and beautiful than either of us could have imagined. We did not originally plan to hire a coordinator, because both of us are experienced event planners, but it was probably the second best decision we made for our wedding day (second only to deciding to marry each other ;)). Ashley brought every single thoughtful detail together and made it possible for us to relax and enjoy our day. She is warm and caring and personable and skillful. She went above and beyond what we expected of a coordinator, whether she was sending helpful decor ideas ahead of the wedding or making sure we had a drink in our hand as soon as the ceremony was over. :) We seriously can't recommend her highly enough - hire her for all your event coordination! -

Ashley helped me with the final planning and details of my wedding. She gave me great recommendations for hair and makeup as well as food vendors for our welcome dinner. She’s super organized, knowledgeable and available anytime i needed to text or call and bug her haha. When the wedding day came it ran so smooth and everything went perfect because of her and her assistants. They made sure everything went as planned and on track and also kept us on time haha. Would highly recommend her and her team to everyone. And lastly as soon as my wedding was over she sent me tons of beautiful pictures from the day so i could see bits and parts of the day i might not would have seen otherwise or have to wait for my professional pics. You can tell she really cares about her clients and her job. I thought that was so sweet and amazing! Ashley is simply the best!Ashley May Events's reply:

The best planner out there
Ashley helped plan my wedding from start to finish and let me tell you, my wedding wouldn't have happened and pulled together as well as it did if it wasn't for her! She was amazing the whole time, willing to help me with ideas to putting things together and everything in between as well as she even took some video for us as we didn't have a videographer.
