Fantastic!
My husband and I knew that we wanted to work with Allison from Ashleigh's Garden immediately once we began wedding planning because of the mission she and the business have in their dedication to rescue animals, a passion close to our hearts. We got married in June 2023 at Eolia Mansion at Harkness Park and could not have been more pleased with her beautiful work. I met with her for an in-person consultation a few months before the big day and she was so helpful in both seeing our vision and also providing money-saving tips that looked even more elegant than I had pictured myself. My bridal bouquet is stunning to this day (I have dried it) and the bridesmaid bouquets came with adorable personalized name cards and vases for them to take home at the end of the night. We chose hydrangeas to honor my late grandmother because it was her favorite flower and Allison helped me add to this by suggesting plants and flowers that were native to the area around Harkness Park. Everything was delivered to the mansion before we even got there to get ready on the big day and they set it all up seamlessly. You will get top quality floral work with Ashleigh's with a beautiful and heartfelt mission at the core - what more could any of us ask for? Would choose them again in a heartbeat! -

Ashleigh’s garden went above and beyond for my wedding! They made the most beautiful arrangements, bouquets and corsages/boutonnières for my wedding day. I provided them with a few pictures and shared my ideas and they took it and ran! The results- phenomenal florals that I am still dreaming about. They surpassed all my expectations! They were reasonably priced, prompt with communication and super friendly and helpful during the planning process. They were right on time for a quick set up the day of with everything labeled and ready to go for the wedding party. The attention to detail is unremarkable, you can tell everything, especially the arrangements and bouquets, were very thoughtfully put together. All the flowers were absolutely perfect and so fresh!I’d highly recommend using them for any floral needs! -

Beautiful Unique Florals!
I got married at The Riverhouse 6/19/21 and Ashleigh's Garden was my florist and I couldn't have picked a better floral team. I have been a wedding planner for years and floral/design was incredibly important to me and I had very high standards for design. I also wanted a more unique floral design (slightly darker, moodier) and Karen and her team delivered more than I could imagine! I met with Karen and was able to hare a few photos of inspiration- she took it and ran with it and everything was exactly as I envisioned when I couldn't even articulate it myself. I had 3 types of centerpieces and Karen designed the room so they all flowed together well. Karen was great with responding and sharing her opinions and details of what she was going to do! -

They were flexible and creative in working with my clients to fit their vision within their budget - to include the offer to pick the florals up the day of to save on delivery costs. I would highly recommend working with Ashleigh’s garden. Allison was great to work with and provided really great suggestions while being practical about what we really needed. Provided really great suggestions for the center pieces. They really thought of everything and incorporated our thoughts and ideas into everything. -

Our wedding flowers were absolutely perfect and so much better than I ever could have anticipated. We told Allison the vibe of our wedding and made broad requests for what we wanted the flowers to look like (gardeny was sort of the extent of my explanation) and WOW did she "get" it. Her understanding and implementation of my ill-explained aesthetic made our photos, cocktail hour, and reception so special. For the first time in the history of weddings, our guests even asked to bring our centerpieces home (no begging or games necessary)!! She also made the worlds cutest flower collar for my bridesdoggy harper :) My bouquet lasted over a week after the wedding, which is unheard of especially in my house (I have a black thumb). LOVE LOVE LOVE Ashleighs Garden and Allison and the wonderful things she does for animals in need. -

Rebecca Sent on 08/19/2018At first I thought I wanted to take care of all the florals on my own (to save money) but I quickly realized it would be a lot better to hire a professional. We went with Ashleigh's Garden because it came recommended by a friend and was a preferred vendor at our venue. I only had a vague idea of what I wanted, so Allison designed all my bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces. They were amazing for our winter wedding!

Mara Sent on 10/19/2016Allison was wonderful to work with. She was prompt in meeting with us and spent time to understand our vision. We got a test centerpiece and the colors were a bit off. I emailed her and sent a couple more pictures and she was flexible and understanding. I also threw her another curve ball when my mom's hydrangea bush mysteriously bloomed one single bloom the week before the wedding. I called and asked if it could be incorporated into my bouquet and Allison was very accommodating and so excited that I could have that sentiment for the big day (even though it was 2 days before the wedding!). The flowers the day of were perfect!! -

I have really mixed opinions on this vendor and am having a hard time writing this - It is a long review but I hope that couples read it for my experience.
She was by far my most difficult vendor and required a lot of baby sitting. That being said she achieved my vision and the day was flawless.
It took a month and a half to get her to respond to a request for an estimate and start the initial conversations. The venue recommended her so I wanted to give it a shot. We had a great in-person discussion and made some great suggestions to use my budget efficiently. I was having a multi-day wedding so I really wanted to work with her on having long lasting arrangements. I gave the deposit in March for my October wedding.
June roles around and I haven't heard from her in a while, not going through this experience before I reach out asking when we meet for next steps. She said she doesn't usually meet with brides again unless they need clarification on what the flowers look like so we're good. It's September, a month out from the wedding and she reaches out asking if I went with another florist because my deposit isn't filed in my records. I send the receipt and say no she's still my plan as evidence of my receipt. She comes back vaguely saying I've ghosted her since March. I lay out the details of our communications since day one and that I reached out in June and she said we were good. She responds defensively and rudely to me, basically saying why am I coming at her with animosity when she was just checking in. If it was just checking in, this wasn't the right way to go about it, because it sent me into thinking I have to start from scratch for my wedding. My mom calls the overarching business (it's one of three on this plot of land) she gets in touch with someone else who assures us that we're on track for my wedding and that she acknowledges the approach with this was unprofessional.
We eventually get back on track and I create for myself an itemized invoice of my asks and I continue this throughout the remainder of the process. To this day, I still never received an actual invoice from the vendor, just paid accordingly to my own invoice.
The final month of planning goes well and the delivery was perfect. The arrangements were beautiful and struck the balance of whimsy, long-lasting arrangments, and a natural feel. It's nearly a month after my wedding now and I still have arrangements that look beautiful in my home.
---TLDR: She came through and did a great job with the arrangements and delivery. I have beautiful, long lasting flowers that met my vision. BUT it took a lot of hand-holding along the way, as a bride I didn't expect to have to be in the driver's seat, project managing this vendor. Other reviews will also note she has an ego and can be defensive (since it came as a rec from the vendor and I met her at one of their open houses I never looked).--- -

Sarah Sent on 12/01/2008To be honest I was very dissapointed with the service at Ashleigh's Garden, I'd heard nothing but good things and at first they were great they could fit me in, met with me right away, even gave me a quote the next day. When I contacted them to add two extra things I was not quoted a price, and had been lead to believe that these were included in my set up fee which was $350-500. I tried to contact them for a month before my wedding for a final quote and recieved no response, peronal reasons were given to explain the lack of response. And then when the final bill came the week of the wedding the price had gone up $600, I was in a panic as we had not budgeted the extra money for the florist bill and it was the first I'd heard of the price increase, When I called to figure out why the bill was so high I was told it was the two extra items I had requested, relieved I cancelled those items and brought our bill back into budget. Then the day before my wedding I received a somewhat angry email from the florist saying that she wasn't ripping me off and the price was fair for the two extra items, I found this to be very unprofessional given the circumstances, I hadn't said that she was trying to rip me off, only that I had been blindsighted by the extra cost, all of which could have been avoided had I recieved any contact from them.
Besides all this she did do a beautiful job with the flowers, and they were beautiful, I just could have done without the extra drama right before my big day.
