Promise is such a pleasure to work with! She arrived to do my wedding make up at a venue that she had never been to with plenty of time to get set up. We had done a slightly different look at the trial run and Promise was happy to do a slight pivot from the original make up plan at my request. My makeup was absolutely gorgeous, glamorous yet natural, and I felt so pampered. Thank you Promise! -

I had my wedding in May, and Asheville Beauty Bar did such an amazing job with my hair and makeup. Promise and her hairstylist truly took the time to listen to what I wanted and did a wonderful job. The two ladies did makeup for 4 bridesmaids and the bride. We all are varying shades of melanin from dark brown skin to very light skin and the makeup artists handled all our skin tones PERFECTLY. They deferred to us for decisioning on how glam the makeup should be and asked for our preference throughout. I would highly recommend these ladies to anyone getting married or looking for a great look for a special event. -

Hands down the MVP of the entire wedding. At first, being the cheaper bride who never gets her makeup or hair done professionally, I thought the price was much, but after seeing what this team has to go through from start to finish, I understand and it is actually a very good price! We had ten girls done, some with hair, some with make up and some with both for only $1,500. From bridal trial to wedding day, Promise was so easy to talk to, she understood what I wanted and delivered.
And let me tell you, my wedding did not make that easy for Promise and the hair stylist, Tasha. The first two appointments were late by about 10 minutes and those ten minutes make a huge difference – be there, and be on time, the earlier the better.
Everything about makeup and hair got delayed from there on at no fault of theirs, they were there early and set up, and THEN I had some ladies who didn’t know what they wanted which risked spending time changing things up; so bride, have your girls know what they want or have all your girls get the same thing. And THEN I had family friends try to add a service the DAY OF and whew, I was stressed but these girls showed their experience!! They handled every single curveball with ease and even helped calm my nerves and advocate for me when something unexpected came up at our wedding.
Promise and her team go above and beyond what I think is the duty of a makeup artist so I can say I highly recommend them! Makeup and hair is not something you will want to underestimate, or do by chance, as it does take up the most time in the background; one wrong move, and the day goes left! I'm happy to say we all still made it on time, looking good, with little complimentary touch up bags with our lipstick color, applicator, and a straw for everyone and an additional powder puff for the bride, ALL because of Promise and Tasha from Asheville Beauty Bar!

It was a pleasure working with Promise and her beauty team. I had a great experience at my hair and makeup trial. On wedding day, the team worked efficiently and even got us ahead of schedule. My makeup was flawless and there were no signs of me sobbing during the heartfelt speeches at the reception. I searched through so many hair and makeup stylists in Asheville and can say, without a doubt, that I couldn't have dreamed of a better choice than Asheville Beauty Bar! Promise and Tasha were prompt, friendly, and beyond talented. They brought the hair and makeup visions of my entire bridal party to life - plus some! They both managed time expertly and had us ready to go early, with hair and makeup that literally lasted all day and night. They absolutely slayed. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and again! -

Asheville Beauty Bar is the best! Very professional, prompt & perfect in my eyes when it came to my vision and how I wanted to look as well as my bridesmaids. I expressed my vision and it was executed on 6/25! These ladies go beyond their duties!
We had the best experience with asheville Beaty bar! They showed up on time, and got through my whole bridal party in perfect time for pictures. Promise made my experience a little more personal by talking me down from an anxiety attack I had while in her chair. That honestly meant so much to me. Their professionalism and talent goes above and beyond, and the passion they have for making sure you feel absolutely beautiful truly shows. I (the bride) work in the industry, I’m a hairstylist, so choosing a company out of town seemed impossible (what can I say, I have to be picky!!). But I did my research and was so impressed with Asheville Beauty Bar. They did makeup for my 5 bridesmaids, and hair and makeup for the mother’s. It was so special 🧡 -

Asheville Beauty Bar was so kind and flexible as our July pandemic wedding kept changing. We made it to our big day in July and they were there on time with all the equipment and made my bridesmaids, my mom and mother-in-law, feel beautiful. My hair is fine and doesn't hold curls at all, but Illiana made the perfect compromise of all the different styled pictures I showed her and it lasted the whole day! -

My bridesmaids and I felt like beauty queens! I had one trial before the wedding and Promise listened to every detail that I liked and didn’t like to create my perfect look. She then made it happen again on my wedding day! Their prices are very reasonable and not overpriced at all. Promise and the staff are so friendly and great to work with. Recommend 10/10!!! -

Promise and her team did an amazing job for my wedding. I was an out of town bride so she was super flexible when scheduling not only my trial runs but working with providing matching foundation colors for me and my bridesmaids. Promise and her team were able to work on a diverse group of bridesmaids and their skin care needs. I am not someone who regularly wears makeup so Promise was forced to rely on Instagram photos and her skills to achieve the perfect look I imagined. I am completely happy with the way my makeup turned out and so glad that I selected her for my big day. My makeup lasted the entire day, which is hard to do with an August wedding! Everyone was amazed at how radiant I looked and that was because of Promise! -
