Kosi Events is hands down the best wedding planning team! They made the planning experience infinitely easier and more enjoyable. I really appreciate the organizational tools they set up for us at the beginning of the planning process, vendor recommendations, monthly calls, taking over the vendor communications, being there the day of our wedding and overall the deep knowledge of the Moab area. Working with Cait and the Kosi Events team was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding!
We started planning our wedding at the same time I began nursing school, a combo that could have been incredibly stressful, but thanks to Cait, it never was. From day one, she made everything feel organized and doable. Kosi provided excellent vendor recommendations and an easy-to-follow planning timeline that clearly laid out what to book and when. About six months out, we began monthly meetings with Cait to go over every detail, little by little, which made the entire process feel incredibly manageable.
But the most amazing part of the entire experience was how much of a rockstar Cait was on the wedding day itself. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She brought my entire vision to life, coordinated every vendor flawlessly, kept the day on schedule, made sure we were fed and hydrated, and somehow managed to be everywhere at once keeping the party flowing. Our guests even commented that she was “like a ninja” running around making magic happen!
We truly can’t thank Cait enough. She exceeded every expectation and made our day completely stress-free, beautiful, and really let us enjoy the moment. I can honestly say our day would not have been the same without her.If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner…do it. We would recommend Kosi Events a thousand times over! -

As a Type-A individual, I never imagined I’d be able to fully let go and trust the year-long process of planning a wedding—let alone from out of state. Hiring Kosi and working closely with Charley from month 13 until the big day was one of the best decisions we made—not just for our wedding, but for our peace of mind.
From the very beginning, Charley went above and beyond. She outlined every task from day one, kept us organized with Trello, and was lightning-fast in her communication. Her responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate needs before we even realized them made us feel cared for every step of the way. Even from hundreds of miles away, we felt connected and confident, which turned what could have been a stressful process into something we were actually able to enjoy.
Kosi also offers rentals, which took even more stress off our plates. One of my specific requests was to have a line of Moroccan rugs down the aisle to complement the desert vibes of Moab. Charley and April spent their own days off scouring flea markets and shops to source them—and on the wedding day, it was exactly as I’d envisioned.
What truly set them apart, though, was the heart they poured into everything. This wasn’t just about logistics—it was about understanding our vision, our personalities, and the experience we wanted for our loved ones. Charley protected us from overpriced vendors, offered creative alternatives, and came up with ideas that made our wedding uniquely ours. For example, since my partner and I are big fans of early 2000s emo music, she helped us incorporate acoustic versions of our favorite bands into cocktail hour and even suggested fun touches like custom napkins and a temporary tattoo station—which ended up being a huge hit with our guests.
On the wedding day, everything ran flawlessly—but what meant the most was how calm and present we were able to feel. Instead of worrying about timelines or details, we laughed, danced, and soaked in every moment with our guests, knowing we were in the best hands. Jennifer Lopez in The Wedding Planner had nothing on Charley. I forgot deodorant during a dress change—Charley had it. I started to feel anxious and needed champagne as guests arrived—Charley already had it in hand.
Our friends and family kept saying how seamless and beautiful everything felt, and that’s a reflection of the love, care, and hard work Charley put into every detail. If you’re wondering whether a planner is worth it—especially if you’re planning from afar—let me assure you: it is. Kosi didn’t just give us the wedding we dreamed of; they gave us the gift of truly being able to live it. For that, we’ll always be grateful. -

From start to finish, Lacie was an absolute dream. She exceeded every expectation I had for a wedding planner — and then some. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but with Lacie by our side, it felt joyful, exciting, and even fun. She somehow made the entire process smooth and stress-free, and when the big day arrived, everything went off without a hitch — even when things had to shift last minute.
We also hired Lacie to help coordinate our rehearsal dinner, and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome. Every detail was thoughtful and beautifully executed — it set the perfect tone for the weekend and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy time with our people.
On the day of our wedding, we had high winds that forced us to move our entire ceremony to the other side of the building. Lacie handled it with such calm, grace, and professionalism that I didn’t even have time to worry — she made it happen and executed it flawlessly. In the days following the wedding, I found out about so many little things she handled — like zip-tying décor so it wouldn’t blow away — and I had no idea any of it was happening in the moment. That’s how seamlessly she worked behind the scenes.
When our original videographer had a last-minute medical emergency, Lacie made sure I felt informed and totally comfortable with the change. I never once felt out of the loop or unsupported.
Throughout the entire journey, she treated us like family — like true friends. I always felt seen, heard, and supported. It honestly felt like I was planning the wedding of my dreams with my best friend. I can’t thank her enough for her care, her vision, and her heart. If you’re looking for a planner who will go above and beyond, who will hold your hand (or take the reins) when you need it most, and who will treat your wedding like it’s the most important day in the world — Lacie and her team are it. Red Earth Venue Wedding
My husband and I hired Charley from Kosi Events for our wedding in Moab, Utah, at the Red Earth Venue. This was a destination wedding, and we had never been to the site or seen the venue beforehand, so having Charley guide us through everything was absolutely critical. We started planning with her about a year before the event, and Charley truly made the wedding of our dreams come to life.
One of the things we appreciated most about Charley was her ability to see the big picture. She helped us book all the major elements in a timely manner, which eased our minds given the many moving parts involved in wedding planning. Her calm and patient demeanor was exactly what we needed during the chaos of the process. Charley's positive attitude always made us feel that any idea or desire we had would be fully explored by her and her team.
Charley is incredibly thorough and often asked thoughtful questions we hadn’t previously considered, ensuring that no detail was overlooked. Since we couldn’t visit the venue in advance, her expert knowledge and detailed guidance helped us visualize how everything would come together. We had the chance to meet her in person a few days before the wedding, and she was just as warm and kind as she had been in all of our virtual communications.
On the wedding day, Charley and her assistant kept everything running smoothly. She managed weather concerns like a true expert, offering multiple contingencies for potential rain during our ceremony. Her experience and proactive approach put us completely at ease.
Charley's deep familiarity with the Red Earth Venue and its vendors was invaluable. Her insider knowledge helped us understand exactly what each vendor could offer and how everything would fit together seamlessly.

I can't thank Cait enough for the incredible job she did planning our wedding weekend. From start to finish, she took care of every single detail, making the entire process smooth, stress-free, and truly unforgettable.
What sets Cait apart is her ability to listen to our vision and bring it to life in a way that exceeded our expectations. Our wedding weekend was a complicated mix of Indian culture and western and Cait balanced both cultures perfectly. She was so organized, and every vendor she recommended was top-notch. Her attention to detail was incredible—from coordinating the timeline, to designing the décor, to managing logistics our two day wedding. We felt confident and at ease the entire time because we knew they had everything under control.
Everything ran flawlessly on our two day event. The our haldi on Sunday was a beautiful, outdoor, colorful lawn party with games, music and blessings. Our Indian ceremony in the morning ran seamlessly as Cait delicately balanced two families cultures coming together. Of course our western reception was perfect ending our weekend with fun dancing, drinks and love. Cait navigated and directed the vendors, our guests/families questions to ensure that we could simply enjoy the celebration with our loved ones. We were able to be fully present in every moment, knowing that Cait had thought of everything.

Not being from Colorado, we depended on April to make our daughter's wedding perfect and it was!!! April and her team are so professional and organized. Every detail was thought of and executed perfectly. We just keep hearing from friends that it was the BEST wedding they had ever been to and that is all due to April!!! There wasn't a mistake at all and the day flowed flawlessly. Every month we had a zoom meeting with what needed to be done and we had our tasks and she had hers! It worked perfectly. April and her team at Kosi Events are the best and most efficient in Colorado!!! No one better. -

Highly Recommend Kosi Events!
The best part of the wedding planning process was knowing we had Kosi to help us out every step of the way. We worked with Lacie and she was amazing! She knew how to answer all of our questions and always helped us feel at ease. Having Lacie there on the day of our wedding completely took away all of our stress and nerves even when it was monsooning and hailing 30 minutes before our ceremony was supposed to start! When we first started our search for coordinators, my mom, my husband and I all picked a top 3. Kosi was the only company that made all of our lists. Thank goodness. We were assigned Lacie Barker as our coordinator and we couldn't be more grateful. We got married at the Red Earth Venue in Moab, Utah and Lacie had an intimate knowledge of all the best vendors in the area. She would come to every meeting with lists of options and opinions to help lead us to what would work best for our wedding. On the day of the wedding, it felt so special watching everything come together and it wasn't just because Lacie helped us design the wedding of our dreams. It was because the vendors Lacie helped us select are a community of people who work on weddings together all the time. It was clear our vendors not only knew each other but had a mutual respect for what they all do together. It meant our wedding ran like a well oiled and well loved machine. I've never been someone who kept a pinterest full of ideas for my wedding so I came in feeling overwhelmed by it all. With Lacie's guidance, we had a perfect night. We couldn't have done it without her and Kosi's help. So much so that she's coordinating my brother's wedding in September too.
Lacie and Kosi care. It's not just another paycheck for them. They took so much of the stress out of the planning process and made it a fun and personal experience that was hard to let go of. In the weeks after our wedding, we both missed having our monthly meeting.
We can't recommend these folks highly enough. -

Exactly what we were looking for/needed
Wow! We had our wedding at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, UT and it turns out that planning and executing a wedding is a lot of work... We had already chosen most of our vendors/venue but we realized the coordinating it all in the moment would take away from us enjoying ourselves the day of. We reached out to Kosi after finding them on Google and it took only a few minutes with April to realize she was exactly who we were looking for.
I can't say enough good words about the experience. We felt comfortable and confident with April from Day 1 and that carried all the way through the Wedding and even after (helping locate a lost veil). The wedding went off beautifully and we were able to completely enjoy ourselves knowing that April was guiding all of our vendors and guests through the event. I was most impressed by the level of communication, organization, and professionalism. We can't recommend Kosi enough. -

Working with Kosi was definitely one of the best and smartest decisions we made for our wedding. They are seriously worth every penny. We mostly worked with Charley, but I am confident anyone one the team will be amazing to work with. Charley helped keep us on track and was always there to answer questions, and then they pretty much took the reigns a couple months before the wedding. The actual wedding day turned out even better than we could have imagined thanks to Charley's visions and hard work. Thank you for everything! -

My wife and I are incredibly thankful to April and the team at Kosi Events for planning, coordinating, and managing our wedding! We were well taken care of before and on our special day. April was not only personable with us and our guests, but patient and pro-active in managing the chaos that is a wedding. Our hands were held throughout this process through virtual calls and responsive email communication; and it paid off in the end. Also, travel was not an issue! We got married in Moab Utah (1.5 hours away from Grand Junction), which was no problem for their team to travel and coordinate our many vendors.
Everyone who attended our wedding had a spectacular time and are still talking about it today :). This would not have been possible without the care, attention-to-detail, and passion behind April and the team at Kosi Events. Because of that, our wedding was just as we planned it and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend them for your wedding/event.

Kosi events is INCREDIBLE! April and her team took care of our long distance wedding in Moab, UT @ The Red Earth Venue from start to finish. April came to every single one our planning meetings extremely prepared and listened to our direction very well. She knew exactly what we needed to plan next and kept us honest on all of our deadlines. We also had a MILLION tiny requests and planned an Indian wedding, so even if the team weren't familiar with a type of vendor or request, they went the extra mile to research it for us. All of the vendors she recommended and we ended up choosing were incredible. As a bride, I feel like most of my stress during our wedding weekend was alleviated due to the team's attention to detail and ability to handle change. I could truly enjoy the weekend because the Kosi team took care of the rest! We truly felt like we were able to pull off the wedding of our dreams! If you are getting married or planning an event in the CO area, I could not recommend the Kosi team more! -

April, Cait and the rest of the Kosi team are so fantastic!
We hired Kosi Events to coordinate the month before and day of our September 2022 wedding and it was beyond worth it!
They have an amazing attention to detail and thought of things that I never could have!
Definitely add on the clean up package, they packed up all of our decor and it was ready for us to load up and take home without any hassel.
April had an answer to every detail that I was worried about and it was so great to just focus on the big day and be hands off because
every little thing was being fully handled by Kosi. Most of the vendors that we booked were from Kosi's vendor list and all of them were exceptional at their jobs.
April has a finger on the pulse of the Western Slope wedding scene and that is extremely important in rural areas with limited options.
I can happily say that our wedding was exactly what we wanted and it was truly perfect and the Kosi team made that happen for us!

Amazing experience!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We were so lucky to be paired with Charley from Kosi Events and she was the star of our show in our eyes. When I started this journey, I had a sprained ankle (a couple of months before my wedding lol) and was ultimately, a crazy person. I was extremely stressed out and in a ton of pain and Charley handled this like a professional. She handled everything for me once we got in her arms and that’s a debt we can never repay and are so thankful for. She came right in our time of need and was so amazing to us. Meeting Charley finally in person after she had already done so much for us was like a breath of fresh air. She is extremely funny, sweet, personable and has outstanding customer service. She handled so much for us through this process and she didn’t mess up once. She was incredible. The day before our wedding we dropped off a TON of decor that needed to be stored and then put out the next morning for our wedding. Unfortunately I’m a DIY bride and there was literally a trailer and more full of things. Charley and the rest of her team probably thought this was insanity but by the next morning when I arrived at the venue, the entire Kosi team was working so hard to get everything out for me and it looked BEAUTIFUL. The entire set up was so amazing. I know it was so much work and I am so thankful for everything this team did for me. Charley handled the entire day without one drop of sweat on her. She was cool, calm and collected and had everything under control. If things happened, I didn’t know about it and as a self proclaimed control freak, I felt ease and comfort giving it all to Charley and I knew she had this. My new husband and I could not have done this without Charley and her team and are truly thankful of the sacrifices you guys made for us to make all of this happen. We can never thank you guys enough and we will remember our wedding as the best day of our lives and it’s all because of you guys! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING! We love you guys!!!! -

April was a lifesaver in planning and executing our intimate winter wedding in Vail, CO!
Where do we even start?...April & her team were TRULY incredible to work with on our intimate winter wedding in Vail. We decided relatively last minute in Sept 2021 that we wanted to do a small ski wedding weekend in Vail in February 2022 with ~30 of our best friends. April never balked at how little we had planned or prepared in order to pull this off, instead she enthusiastically hit the ground running! From helping us find vendors within our budget (rentals, flowers, and more) to driving out to meet us to do a walkthrough of our AirBnB venue to managing the entire wedding day (coordinating with all the vendors, decorating, flipping spaces etc), April's work was absolutely flawless. We are still in awe at how beautiful the house was decorated and flipped from ceremony >> cocktail hour >> dinner > reception and it all came from Apri's creative vision.
If you are doing a wedding in the Colorado mountains, especially if you're using a VRBO/Airbnb as your wedding venue, HIRE April! It will be magical. -

April was fantastic and relieved so much stress for me. I definitely called her in a panic several times and she helped calm me down. She coordinate my wedding which took place at a ranch, 5 miles down a dirt road, in Telluride. We had to bring in tents, power, restrooms, water, and much more and April helped make sure it all got done. We cannot express how much April and her team did to make our wedding perfect. They are a joy to work with, timely, professional, and always had our best interest in mind from the beginning. During the planning process April took a daunting coordination effort and made it feel achievable. I wish we had brought her on from the very beginning of planning and not just the month before. She brought many pieces of the wedding to our attention, which we never would have thought of otherwise, which was a godsend because we were well prepared. On the days leading up to and the day of, April and Charlie took complete control and put together a wedding we will never forget. We couldn’t have had such a beautiful and stress free wedding without her and her team. The decorations were placed perfectly, rehearsals conducted flawlessly, and all of the vendors were handled seamlessly behind the scenes. Wedding planning in 2020 was no joke...I was stressed every day until I hired April! April went above and beyond in every aspect of our day from meeting prior to cover every detail and plan - even COVID related safety precautions we were worried about - to taking over all communication with all vendors. I began looking for a day of planner to help as we would be having a destination wedding. April was a clear choice from the beginning for us. Her reasonable pricing first caught my eye, but I didn’t realize how truly a life saver she would be through the planning process. With a reschedule amongst covid, April helped us with venue visits and a very hard reschedule. She was seamless, professional, organized and so detail oriented! She did way more than just day of planning, and of course made the day of as easy and seamless as possible! The first time I spoke with April, I instantly knew she was the perfect match. She immediately took all of my stress away by how detailed and thorough she was. She knew what she was doing and what I needed before I even knew what I needed. She made a detailed timeline, contacted/directed vendors for me, was there for the rehearsal, took care of everything the day of and much more. She is very personable but also down to business. She should get an award (or a well deserved vacation) for directing that many people. She makes your day about you all the while making sure things get done behind the scenes. I never knew if there was a problem because if anything did arise she would handle it. This allowed me to enjoy the day and live in the moment. Our day truly would not have been as special or the same without her (it would have been a disaster without her, honestly). April is top notch. We were planning our wedding in Colorado but lived out of state. This made it so we could only come back a few times to visit vendors and plan. April was integral in making sure things got done and our visits back were efficient and fun. She is enthusiastic about her job and you get the sense she really cares about your big day. She was very responsive when we weren't there and always professional. With her help we were able to plan our dream wedding while she made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. On the day of she made sure everything was set up in a tight time constraint without any stress on us. She made sure everything ran smoothly while seeming invisible. We could not have done it without her. April was worth every penny. -

My husband and I opted for a more rustic wedding locale, requiring us to bring almost everything we needed to the site including ice, water, generators, the bar, etc. We hired April to handle our "week of" coordination, although she offered so much more than that in terms of being an excellent resource for advice and recommendations throughout the planning process. The week before our wedding, April met with us to hand off the logistics, vendor contact info., etc. During our 2.5 hour meeting, she also asked great questions, highlighting a few things we'd overlooked. Later that week, she drove to our wedding venue to meet us, review all of our decorations and set up needs, and ran a rehearsal for us. Not only that, but she was in communication throughout the week with our vendors and us confirming details, firming up last minute needs and offering any other support we needed. The day of our wedding, April picked up our flowers and was the first on site, and man are we glad she was there. She set up and decorated all of our tables, chairs for the ceremony, flowers, bar, etc. She coordinated all of our music for the ceremony with the band, and had us lined out like professionals when it came to "go" time. Throughout the evening, April was two steps ahead of everything, anticipating needs, troubleshooting issues, and dealing with the weather (the winds were brutal), all without my husband or I even being the wiser. It wasn't until various friends filled us in later that we realized how much April had managed for us. On top of all of that, all of our vendors commented that she was a dream to work with. April made our special day just perfect and I would highly recommend her services.

Kate Sent on 07/31/2018April helped us plan our wedding at Whispering Oaks Ranch in Moab, and I am so, so glad we hired her. As a non-traditional bride, I was worried that a wedding planner might judge me for skipping a lot of the standard wedding trappings, but April was 100% committed to helping us plan an event that reflected our personalities. She was incredibly reassuring, responsive and professional during the planning process. And on the big day, things went so smoothly that I barely noticed all of the work going on in the background! I got to enjoy my wedding without worrying about deliveries or table settings -- it was all just handled.

Arielle Sent on 06/25/2018Our wedding at Mesa Lakes Lodge was something out of a fairy tale! And our fairy godmother was definitely April Arnold! She handled everything we needed and was so helpful with every question I had and trust me, I had A LOT! Everyone is talking about how amazing the weekend was and how perfect everything looked!! My day couldn't have been better in any way because it was perfect! Just wish we could do it over again and re-live our fairy tale! Thank you so much April for making my day flawless and a true dream come true!! She even set up the centerpieces just how I imagined them!!
