  Amazing Photographers!

  I had such a great experience with Applemoon. We decided to go with Applemoon because they provide high quality photography at a reasonable price. They were able to take a bunch of great photos without taking up a lot of our time during the wedding. We didn't do getting ready photos but we did take bridal party and first look pictures before the ceremony. We were able to get all of the pictures we wanted before the ceremony. After the ceremony we were able to get family pictures. We were even able to attend our cocktail hour. Also, we got our pictures back in 1 week! They were amazing! I would use them again for professional photos.

  Best Photographer I've Worked With

  Applemoon Photography did not just meet my expectations but exceeded them, and at such a reasonable price! My husband and I have a huge and segregated family, but Applemoon took hundreds of pictures of many variations in just half an hour after the ceremony! By the end of the whole wedding, thousands of both posed and candid pictures were taken. Even my family members were telling me how impressed they were. If that is not awesome enough, the pictures from our engagement AND our wedding were edited and available to us in around 7 days or less. The photographer made us feel so comfortable and had a clear vision while also frequently checking in with our wants and needs. She was clearly experienced and showed great enthusiasm, professionalism and kindness on the job. Communication was never an issue as she was always quick to respond and proactive about any potential miscommunications. I would absolutely recommend Applemoon Photography to anyone and everyone in need of photography services on the central coast! I really cannot be more grateful and happy with the outcome of my choice to hire them.

  Overall fantastic, start to finish

  Maren was fantastic for our tiny wedding!
  
  She was professional and worked with us closely in every step of the process, even when we had a last minute change of locations. Everything about the experience was organized, professional, and we felt comfortable working with her. The photos were amazing, and perfectly matched our casual-but-classy wedding vibe.
  
  They made us a fantastic online gallery to share around. They also provided a full photo set, and we love having access to download all the high resolution pictures whenever we want.
  
  We recommend AppleMoon to all our friends thinking about getting hitched, and would love to work with Maren again.

  Great and professional couple to work with

  Maren and Michael were exceptional photographers that made the experience of awkwardly posing without previous modeling experience extremely comfortable and fun. They were fast, professional, and responsive. The quality of all the pictures are excellent and rival those found in the most extravagant magazine advertisements.

  Maren and Michael are the most passionate, personable, and incredible photographers you could ever find!!

  From the moment we reached out and contacted AppleMoon Photography it was obvious that we had made the right choice! Michael and Maren are very passionate about photography and it is very clear that they care deeply about capturing your wedding day in a way that is uniquely you.
  Michael and Maren were so easy to work with! We live in Colorado and had to plan our wedding from a distance, from the first Skype call they immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. During the planning process they made sure we knew they were prepared to capture our day just the way we wanted... and they did a terrific job! They struck the perfect balance of taking amazing images without making the wedding all about the photographs. They were so personable during the wedding, they blended right in and magically captured all of the right moments! And if capturing the most perfect wedding photos wasn’t enough… they had a great idea to meet us at sunset in a different location following the wedding to get our special couple shots (since we weren’t able to do an engagement photo session). They did a great job of capturing us together in unique and memorable ways. We are so very grateful for Michael and Maren for being a part of our wedding day and we absolutely recommend that you choose them to capture your special day!!

  Maren is so sweet! She was our photographer for several hours on our wedding day. Like many younger couples my husband and I are operating on a budget, and Maren was more than willing to customize a wedding package that fit our needs and our budget. We were able to set up a Skype meeting with her prior to the wedding to list which pictures/poses/people in photos that we really wanted. On the day of, she was prompt and so nice! She definitely has her wedding rhythm down and was able to capture special moments that we wanted without interrupting them or the flow of the day. I really appreciate many of the posed shots that she took- while I tend to enjoy more candid photos, the posed pictures are some of the most beautiful from the day. Maren also took us down the beach a bit and set us up for some really creative photos on the rocks and cliffs. She even waded in the ocean to get the photos. :-D There were a few moments in which I would have liked a bit more direction from her, particularly after the ceremony when larger family photos were being organized- it seemed like people had to get themselves together a bit, rather than being told where to go/how to pose/what we were doing. However, her work is beautiful and I would definitely work with her again. In the 6-8 weeks post-wedding, she sent several "sneak peek" photos, followed by a slideshow, then the full gallery of >800 edited photos. It was much more than we expected and sincerely appreciated.

  Michael and Maren from Applemoon did a phenomenal job! We had a semi destination wedding and had to plan our wedding from 6 hours away. We had no personal reference to use Applemoon, just their beautiful website to go off of, and we were more than pleasantly surprised with the pictures we got back! They are such a great team to work with, and returned the most amazing pictures! It was so worth the investment. Going back through the pictures was like reliving the most amazing day of our lives. Michael and Maren did a great job of documenting the entire day the whole way through! we love them and highly recommend them!

  Michael and Maren from AppleMoon Photography were amazing! My wife and I knew when we first met them that they were the photographers for our wedding. They are a fun couple who really know their stuff, and you can tell that they love what they do. We don't know much about photography, so we were looking for photographers who knew what they were doing, and would help guide us with our stances and the shots. Michael and Maren did that and then some. They made both our engagement photos and our wedding photos enjoyable and relaxing, while setting us up for some amazing photos!

  I looked at a lot of photographers for my wedding. So many had great photos, but what makes Applemoon stand out is Michael and Maren. I am not a person that 100% loves being in front of a camera, but they made us feel so comfortable (plus didn't make us do any cheesy forced poses). They took a TON of photos and they came out wonderfully! They are so easy to work with and so flexible! I barely even noticed that they were at the wedding. Plus, you get a great mix of the traditional photos, plus some really cool artistic ones. I can truly say that they are great photographers, great people and would consider them friends. I would hands down recommend them for ANY event, especially weddings. In fact, I wish they could photograph my everyday life, just so I could be around them more. :)

  Maren and Michael have amazing work and personalities. They are great at making your day special. I am glad that they were apart of our wedding.   AppleMoon were amazing to with us! My wife and I could not believe how personal and profession they were with us throughout. The quality of their work is indescribable, we have several of their photo’s around our house and we love them. If anyone was to ask me about a photography company I’d say not to even look elsewhere, there’s no comparison.

  Michael and Maren, the husband/wife team of AppleMoon Photography, worked magic with their photographs of both our engagement session and our wedding.   Michael and Maren are absolutely amazing! The pictures are creative and beautiful and when I go throught them, they make me remember the day even more fondly than my own memories.   Micheal and Maren were soo fun and cool to work with! I think that becuase they are married and are close,their interactions between each other were easy to relate to and work with, Clint and I didn't feel uncomfortable or awkward, it was like having good friends take our pictures. We loved how they captured all of our wedding, from the tables to the food to the ceremony, all the guests and decorations...it was awesome because as a bride it was hard to see how everything came out and check all the set up and with the pictures I was able to re live it and go back and see how it all looked. I also liked how tey captured Clint smiling in so many different ways! I had never seen that from him, he is usually serious about pictures, but we have some great ones of him smiling that are priceless! They are amazing photographers! and will do wahtever you want and do it right. They are sweet, caring and understanding and very willing to work with you and your budget to make you happy.

  Micheal and Maren were soo fun and cool to work with! I think that becuase they are married and are close,their interactions between each other were easy to relate to and work with, Clint and I didn't feel uncomfortable or awkward, it was like having good friends take our pictures.   Chris and I knew Maren and Michael's photos of our wedding would be outstanding, considering how thrilled we were with our engagement photos, but we couldn't even have imagined ones this awesome. Stunning, fabulous, amazing, creative...we could go on and on! Between their love for each other and their shared passion for photography, those two really have something special. We can't WAIT to show these photos to friends and family and share in the day's joy all over again. Worth every penny, and then some!

  maren and michael are the best photographers ever! they did an absolutely amazing job at capturing our wedding day and were a plessure to get to know. we look forward to having them capture our special days to come in the future. ;)

I don't know how they do it, but once they get behind that lens, they make everything magical.We are so very grateful to have met M&M.   Absolutely amazing photographers! They did a fabulous job of capturing the entire day...from getting ready, to ceremony and then to reception. We have the most amazing photos! We still get compliments from family, friends, and my co-workers on how beautiful the photos turned out. Michael and Maren have a very artistic eye and it shows in their photos and their editing. They were both so much fun to work with and helpful on a day with so much to do. My husband and I both look forward to working with them again someday, hopefully to photograph kids! I cannot say enough great things about them!

  My husband and I really enjoyed working with Michael and Marin. They made us feel so comfortable, and loose in front of the camera. I would highly recommend them for any occasion. Very fun and professional!!!
