We absolutely adored Antrim 1844! The service was impeccable, they even left us a little treat in our wedding suite for after the wedding! We had our ceremony and reception on-site. Jill was fantastic, she was communicative and helped make some last minute adjustments possible. All the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of throughout the night. We didn't have to worry about anything; they had every possible thing we could think of (and especially the things we didn't) handled. We loved every minute of being on the property and they made us and our guests feel so special the entire weekend! -

Antrim 1844 made our wedding dreams come true!
We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue! We had the most perfect, stress free day with no hiccups, all thanks to Antrim 1844! Jill was our wedding coordinator and she was so helpful and attentive throughout the planning process, she’s the best! All of the other staff were just as great! They were all so kind, helpful, and seemed to genuinely care about our wedding day! Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, but the convenience of everything in one location was everything to us! We had our family and wedding party stay in one house for 2 days, we had our rehearsal dinner in the Smokehouse Restaurant, were able to get ready at the venue the morning of, and stayed there the night of. Our guests raved with compliments on this venue, especially when it came to the food. Most mentioned it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, and we agree! Antrim 1844 is truly a world-class wedding venue. From start to finish, they were the most prepared and professional team we could have imagined—every moment and detail felt planned down to a science. They were incredibly accommodating to both us and our guests, stocking our room with signature drinks and hors d’oeuvres after the ceremony, saving our wedding dinner in case we didn’t get a chance to eat, and setting up champagne and our wedding cake for after the after-party.
The level of care was unmatched—whether it was helping with setup or running to grab the bride coffee whenever she needed it, nothing was too small. Our banquet manager, Dan, was an absolute standout. From walking us through a perfectly timed and paired tasting to ensuring dinner ran smoothly the night of, he was personable, inviting, and endlessly accommodating to both us and our guests. He truly felt like the star of the operation.
Our day-of coordinator, Katie, was equally phenomenal. She supported us from the earliest stages of planning through the after-party and made sure everything ran seamlessly and according to plan. Thanks to her expertise, we were able to incorporate all the personal touches we wanted—from special cocktail-hour napkins to pizza delivery for the after-party. We cannot recommend Antrim 1844 highly enough. -

Amazing wedding 10/17/25
We just got married at Antrim on 10/17/25 and I cannot express how happy we are with our decision to choose this venue. The grounds are absolutely stunning and our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the rose garden and mansion were. The staff were amazing and so helpful through out the rehearsal dinner all the way to the reception. The food was delicious and the food service was very organized and executed flawlessly. The food tasted exactly how it did when we did our menu tasting which was perfect. Jill, our coordinator, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process and answered any and all questions we had. She is so personable and kind and helped relieve a lot of our stress, especially on the day of. Most of my family came from out of town so it was very important that we had lodging for them. It was so unique to have the ability for our guests to stay in the mansion and in the surrounding guest houses instead of just generic hotels.
I cannot recommend this venue enough if you are trying to find a cozy, mansion themed wedding venue with great outdoor and indoor options! -

Forever Grateful for the Antrim 1844 Team ✨
We recently held our wedding at Antrim 1844, and we truly could not have imagined a more beautiful or seamless experience. From the stunning grounds to the exceptional staff, every detail was thoughtfully handled with care and professionalism.
The entire day ran smoothly, and we are beyond grateful to everyone who played a role in making our wedding so magical. The staff went above and beyond—even helping us jump our car the night of our rehearsal dinner! That kind of support and kindness really speaks to the heart of this venue.
Antrim is not only visually breathtaking—it’s a uniquely charming and romantic setting that brought all the fairytale moments to life. The food was incredible, the service was top-notch, and the attention to detail was immaculate. One of the sweetest surprises was returning to our room after the wedding to find champagne and a display of all our wedding desserts waiting for us. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
A very special thank you to Jill, who was with us every step of the way—from our first inquiry to the big day itself. She was an absolute joy to work with and helped us navigate every detail with patience, warmth, and professionalism.

My daughter and son-in-law live in Boston and tasked me with vetting venues and helping with wedding planning. I immediately fell in love with Antrim 1844, as did my daughter and son-in-law. Most of our guests were traveling long distances and the hotel rooms throughout the property created an elegant and festive atmosphere for us to come together as one family for the entire weekend. The service, staff, and food were exceptional. It looked and felt like the “old money” weddings trending on social media. Jill and the entire staff took care of every need so that we could relax and enjoy the celebrations. Multiple guests commented on how it was the best wedding they had ever attended. I 10 out of 10 recommend, particularly planning a weekend event to host guests and bring two together through the many on site activities, nature path, and gorgeous garden views. It was worth every penny because we will all cherish this weekend for the rest of our lives.
Well done Antrim 1844! Thank you for giving us everything we could have hoped for our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. -

I cannot recommend the Antrim enough. Besides the fact that it’s an absolute vintage dream, the hotel staff, restaurant staff, and coordinators are absolutely kind, patient, and professional! Jill was extremely thorough with us throughout the entire planning process and made sure we didn’t miss anything. The food was incredible and the event went smoothly thanks to their help. We had our daughters intimate December 2024 wedding at the Antrim. Jill, the coordinator was exceptional and took care of everything. We had 48 guests and the most incredible experience. The food was delicious, staff professional and facilities amazing. The suites were elegant and included fireplaces and hot tubs not to mention lovely for photos. It was decorated for the holidays and was nothing short of magical. The experience was more than we could have ever asked for and the Antrim staff made it memorable for all. Antrim 1844 was the perfect venue for our wedding on a Thursday in June with 70 guests. Despite the busy season, the venue exceeded our expectations in many ways. Our original coordinator, Katie, communicated mostly over email. She had an emergency and couldn't be there on the wedding day. Dan, the banquet manager, stepped in seamlessly. Dan and his team provided exceptional service throughout the entire day, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food during cocktail hour, dinner, and the after-party. Many said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, which is a testament to the quality and care put into the catering at Antrim 1844.
The venue itself is picture-perfect, with guests constantly expressing how perfect and unique it was. The character of the hotel, along with the beautiful grounds, pool, tennis courts, and outdoor games, left a lasting impression on everyone.
The staff at Antrim 1844 were friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Reed, in particular, was great and took extra care of us as the bride and groom. We stayed in the Boucher Suite, which we loved—it was perfect for a wedding. However, brides with many bridesmaids should be aware that the suite doesn't have a lot of outlets, which can be a bit tricky when getting hair and makeup done professionally. Despite this, it was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience.
We did encounter a few hiccups, such as dealing with a heatwave on our wedding day - which caused our tiered cake to become lopsided, but Dan's team and our planner smoothed out all the problems that arose. Jill, the other coordinator, was excellent in communicating with our planner.
Antrim 1844 offers a great deal with the number of included services, making it an excellent value. The top-notch service, combined with the stunning venue, made our wedding perfect. Additionally, the vendors recommended by Antrim were all fantastic and very professional.
Overall, Antrim 1844 provided a beautiful and memorable setting for our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue.Antrim 1844 Hotel's reply:

SO!
First off I will be very clear with my rating: There are not enough stars in THE GALAXY to appropriately rate how fantastic Antrim 1844 is as a wedding venue. It was very clear from the beginning of our interaction, through the planning process, and finally through the wedding that they certainly live up to their internal staff motto that, "every time you step on campus, you need to bring 100%."
The grounds were extremely well kept, whether during the dead of winter or during the height of summer. Whether you are looking to have your wedding on or off-season, Antrim did an extremely good job of ensuring the grounds were well-kept and maintained their antique vibe. Because the venue is naturally so beautiful, we actually decided that we did not need additional decorations or flowers, saving us thousands of dollars. We had our wedding on the 15th of September and the weather was splendid. Not too hot outside and the rose garden was in full bloom. Even if you have your wedding in December (I did my initial location scout in December) the campus is beautiful. The hotel had been beautifully decorated for Christmas with large Christmas trees and garlands hanging inside and out.
The rooms were all well kept and it was very clear that the hotel was very deliberate in how it stylized the rooms. Each room's theme was beautifully put together, which made photography very easy while on the premises.
The staff was extremely kind and was very knowledgeable when it came to the dining experience. One of our guests is a winemaker, and the waitstaff was able to answer each of his questions regarding the various wines available. Antrim has a wide selection of unique beverages, some I have yet to find in a liquor store. The Smokehouse restaurant IS WORTH EVERY DIME. The food is fantastic, and the kitchen was able to be very accommodating for guests with food allergies or with certain preferences. The bartending staff was also super knowledgeable in their craft and was able to keep up with our guests ( we had 94). The inclusion of the food and the open bar into the wedding package resulted in us saving probably an extra $3,000-4,000 for the wedding. (You will love the tasting part of the planning process, EVERYTHING is good)
The coordination aspect with the hotel could not have been more smooth. Since the beginning of our planning process, the hotel's wedding coordinator (Jill Dyson) was super professional, punctual, and made us feel like we weren't just another group. She was very responsive and extremely helpful in finding unique ways for us to keep the flow of events moving. We did not use a wedding planner (and while it was stressful) Jill made it the most chill planning process we could have ever hoped for.
Things for consideration:
- There are several hotel rooms located at some distance from the main house. The hotel does offer golf cart rides for those who need shuttling to and from places. Very useful for older guests.
- The fire department/ EMS is just down the street ( for risk management purposes) This was very important for us considering that we had a number of older guests
- There's tons of parking in a parking lot across the street
- BOOK YOUR ROOM BLOCK EARLY. We were a little late and some of the rooms we were hoping to get were already taken. There are other hotels in the area but not many, and Uber access was limited (Taneytown is VERY much in the country). If you are going to have a large group that likes to drink, make sure to get all the rooms possible early so the maximum amount of people can just stumble back to their rooms
- Don't just stay one night. My wife and I (and a few other friends) stayed a few nights there and it made it so much easier to just chill out. Stay at least the night before. You won't regret the experience.Antrim 1844 Hotel's reply:

We had our wedding at Antrim 1844 in August and it was absolutely perfect! The venue was a great size for our wedding which was ~110 people. We toured the venue in the fall and when we showed up for our wedding weekend everyone was blown away by the beautiful flowers and grounds. The mansion is absolutely stunning and made for some beautiful staging & getting ready photos. The bridesmaids used the lower level of the Birnie House for getting ready, which turned out to be such a good decision and it was the perfect start to a fairytale of a day. Lastly, we stayed at the venue at the Ice House the night after our wedding to celebrate alone and it was magical. The little pool and our dinner experience was so unique. We will be back for all of our anniversaries! Thank you for making our day so magical and perfect Antrim! -

I honestly can't recommend Antrim 1884 enough! Jill and the whole team at Antrim were so absolutely kind and accommodating. Jill was so responsive to all our questions and changes including letting us add on the extra hour to our reception with only a week and half before the wedding. The staff constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything throughout the rehearsal, wedding day, and the next morning. At one point my husband and I both had 3-4 drinks waiting for us during the reception to make sure we were having a good time and accommodated. They truly want you to have a great experience and wonderful wedding day. Plus, the buildings and grounds are stunning and make a wonderful backdrop to your day/photos.Antrim 1844 Hotel's reply:

The Perfect Venue
I would highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone. From start of planning to the day of the wedding, Antrim was a class act and they took care of everything. The grounds are so beautiful and the food is outstanding. Both Katie and Jill were especially great to work with, they were very responsive, answered all of my questions, and were very flexible and accommodating. The day of the wedding, I did not have to worry and stress about minor details or event timeline because the staff was on top of everything! I would highly recommend Antrim 1844 as a wedding venue to all couples looking for an out-of-the-box, unique, magical venue. They knocked it out of the park in every way possible! -

Even better than we have imagined
We cannot say enough about the "full package" experience Antrim provides as a venue. Like many recent weddings, we were originally booked for 2020. After a lot of discussion, going back and forth, we pushed it out til 2021. And boy did we hit the jackpot on the most perfect day! Antrim was very accommodating, allowing us to move our date without any price increases. With the new date we were able to book a bunch of rooms the day before the wedding and the night of the wedding. It was a perfect wedding weekend getaway. We had all of our friends and family staying with us. The Girls had breakfast in the suite and all the guys met in the restaurant. The bridal suite is HUGE we had 10 people + hair and make up and there was plenty of space. As for the event itself the staff was INCREDIBLE. I don't think I lifted a finger the entire day. Katie was our coordinator and she was a dream. She knows what she is doing, anticipated all of our questions, and made sure everything was PERFECT. Additionally we had a staff member that was assigned to help with my dress and check in on us throughout the night. This was unexpected but SO needed and appreciated. Absolutely everything went perfect, we could not have asked for a better day. Lastly, with so many guests staying the night on site, we had Pizzas delivered at 10:15pm. It was a beautiful evening and everyone was able to enjoy some pizza at the bar/on the deck. Staff was available for anything we needed, including trash bags for clean up. The bride and groom end the night with desserts and champagne left in the suite. So many small touches that made the day exceptional. At the end of the day it was worth EVERY PENNY. We wouldn't change a thing! -

The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and efficient throughout the evening! We had Jill help us prior to the wedding day and she was very quick to respond back to all of our emails and pleasant when answering all of our questions. We had Matthew Spenspadvold help us throughout the evening and he was amazing!! We feel so lucky to have had him on our team during the reception, he kept us on schedule and was very courteous and made certain we were taken care of throughout the evening. We had our wedding at Antrim in August 2022 and were extremely happy with the venue! They provide a beautiful location, awesome food and drinks, tables and settings, hotel rooms, and great service all-in one, which made our experience planning the wedding a lot easier. The coordinator on the day-of also helped the wedding go off without a hitch.
Seriously, go to their restaurant and try the food - we were sold immediately! Antrim was also flexible in working with us when we needed to move our wedding date due to covid.

Highly recommend!
I would highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone. My husband and I got married at Antrim this past May and our wedding was absolutely perfect. Our coordinator, Katie Coon, was absolutely wonderful. She guided us on exactly what we needed to do during the entire process, making it just so easy. They obviously know exactly what they are doing so the entire process was flawless up until the big day. We needed to postpone our original wedding date due to Covid and Antrim accommodated a new date with absolutely no problem. The grounds are stunning and our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was. They have indoor and outdoor options for both the ceremony and reception which is SO IMPORTANT! Both indoor and outdoor locations are beautiful. The food is also divine- our guests were also raving about this. They have a list of preferred vendors (although you don't have to use them) which makes the entire process even more seamless when you work with vendors who have been to your venue multiple times. We really cannot say enough great things about Antrim and will remember our perfect day forever! -

My new husband and I couldn't be happier that we picked Antrim 1844 for our wedding venue! All of our guests keep telling us what a great time they had, how amazing the food was, how cool the rooms were, how nice all the staff was, the list goes on... It rained most of the day and there was a Tornado Warning, but that only added to the fun HAHA! Not only was the wedding day itself amazing, but the help we received from the staff the whole year and a half leading up to the day was outstanding. Extremely responsive to emails and questions (which I had a LOT of), super organized when it came to reserving rooms for guests and all coordination in general. It made the whole wedding planning process FUN and stress-free. The day went by so fast and I'm so sad that it's over, but so incredibly grateful that I can look back at our wedding day with the happiest of memories. I can't wait until March 28, 2022 so we can go back for our 1-year anniversary!! Shout out to Jill for being the most amazing wedding coordinator ever, to Felicia for being so kind, patient, and organized with my hundreds of room reservation emails, and to Crystal for all your help with the rehearsal brunch! Antrim 1844 has it all! It rained on my wedding day (sigh), but our coordinator, Katie, contacted me early in the morning to give me options for our ceremony location. We received excellent service the entire day beginning with Katherine at the front desk, the amazing banquet staff led by Crystal, and our awesome firepit after the reception set up by Greg. Our overnight room was clean as a whistle, complete with extra bottles of water, which we desperately needed after a night of dancing! But it didn't stop there- we had a fantastic breakfast with the morning crew, and the banquet staff had all of our wedding decorations neatly boxed up for us to take home after check out. Honestly, the team at Antrim has thought of everything, right down to the last tiny detail. And believe me, when you're a bride-to-be, every detail counts!! I give them two very enthusiastic thumbs up!! -

We just had my daughter's wedding at Antrim 1844 this past weekend and I can' t say enough wonderful things about the venue. From start of planning to the day of the wedding, Antrim was a class act and they took care of everything. The grounds are so beautiful and the food is outstanding, in fact one guest said it was the best dish he had ever eaten. With COVID creating so many complications (we had to reschedule from April), Antrim was so accommodating and worked with us every step of the way. We worked with Jill for all of our advance planning and Katie on the day of the wedding and both were great to work with. Katlynn, who handled the on site guest rooms also was a delight to deal with. I highly recommend Antrim 1844 for your ceremony and reception; it will be the best decision you will make! -

I had my wedding here in July of 2019. We had Jill as our wedding planner. She is amazing, she is responsive, she listens, professional, and helped our wedding run smoothly on the day of. This venue is beautiful: you have the amazing gardens, the reception area, a place to get ready at the venue the day of and a place to stay on the wedding night. The food and beverages are top notch. When it came to menu planning they really worked with us. I had forgot about a guest being vegan. The day of my wedding, they made that guest a meal they could enjoy. So much is included in this venue that it makes planning a lot less stressful. Highly recommend! Oh lets not forget the amazing breakfast the day after your wedding!! -

We had our wedding here October 15,2019 so this review is long over due! This place made wedding planning absolutely stress free for me. They provide the food, alcohol, an awesome planner who responds quickly to messages (shout out to Jill!), and an absolutely gorgeous, historical feeling venue. Our favorite part was definitely staying in the Boucher suite that night and having chocolate strawberries and our wedding cake with glasses of champagne. In my opinion a full service florist (we used Something borrowed blooms and did simple centerpieces, garland and bouquets for the ladies) is not really needed due to the amount of gorgeous flowers surrounding the venue. All of my guest enjoyed their night and all of my vendors seemed to know Antrim well and worked well with them on our event. I loved that we had both inside and an outdoor patio throughout our event. It is pricey in my opinion but definitely worth it if you are looking for a stress free wedding planning experience where you aren’t worrying about little details like table cloths and table numbers. Each meeting was like a mini trip for my husband and I and the tasting left us stuffed. The appetizers were AMAZING and they even served champagne to my bridal party after. -

My experience with the Antrim planning our wedding I would not trade for anything. When we were shopping for venues, I definitely had that "say yes" moment with Antrim. It's like having your whole wedding day/weekend in your own little mini-town. My coordinator Jill was easy to work with and it was so nice having someone you trust setting up everything while you get ready. Everything there is breathtaking, even in the winter. Even when we were cold, employees set up fires in the fireplaces. Everyone working was just so nice. I wish I could do it all again! -

We had a gorgeous winter wedding. Everyone at Antrim, especially Katie Coon and Jordan Kayser, were professional, prompt, and wonderful to work with. The food, space, and atmosphere was great. We held our rehearsal dinner there as well and that was wonderful. -

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding than Antrim 1844. From start to finish, everything was just perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Jill, was amazing- so personable, friendly, and eager to help! Our original coordinator, Abbey, left Antrim and we had sent her some questions via email. Jill picked right up where Abbey had left off and quickly answered our questions. I was so impressed! Our guests loved the food and couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the venue is! Those who stayed the night enjoyed their stay and the breakfast tray of muffins and coffee that was left outside their door. My now husband and I thoroughly appreciated the cake slices, champagne, and rose petals in the shape of a heart that were left in our Suite!! All of the staff and Antrim do such an amazing job. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so beautiful!!

Best wedding ever
I can’t even begin to express my gratitude towards Antrim 1844 staff.... they are amazing. They made sure everything was absolutely perfect on our wedding day. Jill was especially great to work with, she was very responsive, answered all of my questions and was very flexible and accommodating. The food was incredible and the grounds are beautiful. Antrim 1844 is the most magical place to get married. It has gorgeous manicured rose gardens that make it feel like you're at the Palace of Versailles. The staff is professional, prompt, devoted, and absolute pros at what they do. They go above and beyond to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams. The venue package which includes our fabulous wedding coordinator (Katie is awesome) is also all inclusive giving you the best value for your money. The food is just as incredible! We had our rehearsal dinner at Antrim and we met a couple who were returning for their 50th wedding anniversary. Your day will be unforgettable and you will want to come back every year as my husband and I plan to. -

Antrim 1844 is the most beautiful and perfect venue for a wedding. The all-inclusive aspect of the venue was very appealing when we were searching for a wedding venue. From beginning to end, all of the staff were very accommodating, professional, and just absolutely amazing. The day of the wedding, I did not have to worry and stress about minor details or event timeline because the staff was on top of everything! The formal garden is the perfect spot for a wedding ceremony! It is extremely well kept and is absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to have a romantic and breath-taking wedding. -

August among the roses
Start to finish -everything was perfection! Jill Pajak as our wedding coordinator was amazing- so organized, genuinely listened to us and shared our vision- all the staff from the servers to parking attendants were attentive, warm, and welcoming- the food was great- the space was amazing- outside in august in the rose garden was breathtaking especially as the sun went down. The bridal suite was home away from home-luxurious and pampering. Can not say enough great things about this venue, and this amazing staff. -

WOW! Where do I even start? This was absolutely the best venue we could have possibly chosen. The beautiful, immaculately kept, historic grounds served as the most stunning background for our special day! The staff was beyond amazing. I wish I could remember each and every name, as they all deserve a shout out! From the front desk staff, to the bell staff, to the servers, bartenders and groundskeepers - they were on top of everything start to finish, and because of this, I worried about nothing the day of, other than marrying the man of my dreams. Katie and Jordon were exceptional, and did everything to make sure our day went off without a hitch. We filled every room in the venue with our family and friends who wanted to stay overnight, and the positive feedback we receive about their rooms, and the venue as a whole, was outstanding. The food was great, and for a guest list of 130 people, that is often difficult to say. Everything was prepared to perfection! The vintage feel of the venue was the perfect complement to my wedding vision! I would highly recommend Antrim 1844 as a wedding venue to all couples looking for an out of the box, unique, rock star venue. They knocked it out of the park in every way possible! -

The Antrim 1844 is such a magical place. My parents got married at the Antrim in the Mansion in 1995, so it was already special to our family. In 2016, my now husband and I met for the first time at the Antrim at the Carrollton Hounds Hunt Ball. In 2017, we got engaged at the New Years Eve Gala in the formal gardens at midnight. So, when it came time to looking for a wedding venue, we knew that the Antrim was the perfect place.
Everyone at the Antrim made our wedding day nothing short of perfect. My wedding party and I got our hair and makeup done in the Formal Dining Room before going to the bridal suite to get ready. My husband, his best man, and friends stayed in the pub before going to their suite to get ready as well. We had our first look in the snow covered formal gardens and it was perfect. Our ceremony was in the Garden Room in the Pavilion, which was set up beautifully and our guests were very comfortable.
We had our cocktail hour in the Mansion, but before joining our guests, the Antrim staff set up food and beverages for the wedding party and our family to catch our breath and eat some food before mingling with our guests. This was such a wonderful time to stop and take everything in. The hors d'oeuvres were just fantastic and the atmosphere of the Mansion was wonderful.
Our wedding reception was just perfect as well. The food was marvelous, the staff were all so accommodating, and we had everything we needed. My husband and I had several of our hors d'ouevres stationed at the table waiting for us at our sweetheart table along with fruit and drinks. After the meal was finished, we just danced the night away until going to the Pub for the after party. My wedding day was just an absolute dream and the Antrim did everything they could to make it perfect.Antrim 1844 Hotel's reply:

Marian Sent on 06/19/2018Our wedding was at Antrim 1844 and we would highly recommend them! We booked our April 2018 wedding in December 2016 (16 months in advance). Some of the best things about Antrim were:
• The property/gardens! The beautiful property and gardens is why we fell in love with Antrim after our first visit and is something that every single one of our wedding guests mentioned during our big day (and continue to tell us months later!). The romantic garden vibe made our wedding day feel absolutely magical.
• The service! Impeccable. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, the staff were so friendly/helpful/professional. We felt like royalty!
• The food! We enjoyed working with Chef Andrew Fontaine to create our own unique menu that our guests loved. Everyone has been to weddings with less than stellar food (green beans that taste as though they had been frozen, etc) but at Antrim - everything was delicious.
• Our coordinator! Katie was an absolute joy to work with! Before our wedding day I probably emailed her hundreds of times and she graciously responded quickly and without ever making me feel as though I asked too many questions! I am extremely detail-oriented and before meeting Katie I was a bit worried about having things fall through the cracks or having things set up differently than I had envisioned. But our day went off perfectly and there wasn’t one thing that went wrong. Katie and her team set up/took down and kept everything on time!
• Everything can be on-site! We had our ceremony in the Formal Garden, cocktail hour in the Mansion, and our reception in the Glass Pavilion. We also had about 25 of the 40 hotel rooms for our guests.
Antrim gives you 5.5 hours (including the ceremony) which is pretty standard as far as weddings go but if I could do it again, I’d add an extra hour! -

Jennifer Sent on 07/05/2017I don't even know where to start with Antrim 1844! As soon as my husband, parents and I toured Antrim- I knew it was the perfect wedding venue for us! I just love the historical elegance of Antrim, and I could not get it off of my mind! The same day we toured the venue property, we put a hold on a specific date. From the day we officially chose Antrim, to the day of my wedding- they were caring, professional, and accommodated everything I wanted/needed. We got to come back and sit down with the head chef of the property to put together a menu. We thought it was going to be a list of food options and we just picked from his list- however it was far beyond that. The chef asked us our favorite times of foods and foods we would like to see at our cocktail hour/wedding meal. Once we got some ideas out there- he added his professional ideas and input and we came up with an amazing menu. To give an idea of how great and on top of it they are- the day we had scheduled to come in for a food tasting of our menu, I emailed my coordinator, Trish and explained that I recently became a vegetarian and asked if there was any way I could have a vegetarian meal- Day of! By the time I got to Antrim that evening, the hostess and chef had a vegetarian meal for me, which was awesome and I ended up having it as my meal at the wedding. About a month away from our wedding, we got a new coordinator- which made me nervous. However, our new coordinator did great and picked up right where our previous coordinator left off. Our actual wedding day went amazing! We had beautiful weather and our guests could not stop raving about Antrim! After the ceremony, we got to hang out at the small pub located in Antrim and spend additional time with our guests who were staying on property. The next morning we had an amazing breakfast in the restaurant. Overall, I am beyond happy with the venue, especially the staff. They were so nice and so welcoming to us, and we cannot wait to go back! -

Lauren Sent on 06/06/2017The venue was beautiful and the food is truly amazing. We picked the place base on feedback on the food and the gorgeous atmosphere. We were not disappointed. Not only was the food great but the service was amazing. The Antrim team did everything they could to make my day special and make sure I was taken care of. From making sure I didn't faint to making sure I had my flowers they were amazing. Abbey did an amazing job. She came in two months out when my previous planner quit and she really worked hard to make sure my vision was executed. I am a control freak so I never give up control when planning events so my husband was shocked to see that I gave everything over to Abbey. But when you have a superstar for a planner thats what you do. She delivered the wedding of my dreams and made sure I was taken care of all night long. I recommend everyone going to Antrim 1844. They have the food, atmosphere and service down 100%. We will be going back for our anniversary every year. -

Elisa Sent on 11/10/2016My husband and I LOVED Antrim 1844. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We chose the venue not only because of how beautiful it is, but also because it is dog-friendly! Having our two furbabies being able to participate in the ceremony really made the whole event even more special. All of our guests had a wonderful time and kept commenting on how beautiful Antrim is. Also, we absolutely have to mention that the service was wonderful. Our planner, Beth, was REMARKABLE. Her ability to pay attention to detail, patience, etc. is honestly the BEST part about working with Antrim!
