We loved working with Antebellum Design and cannot recommend them enough!

Marian was recommended to us by a close friend and she did not disappoint! Due to COVID, we decided to postpone our wedding celebration to October 2021 and still get married on our original date in October 2020. We used Marian both times. I loved working with Marian as she was able to perfectly capture the florals I wanted for the microwedding and wedding celebration as they had different vibes.

Marian was able to accommodate all my requests, even the ones that came later after the initial proposal!

Beautiful Arrangements, Flexible and Quality People

When I work with people, we don't just care about their product, we want to work with and support good people. We hired Antebellum based on a friend's recommendation and boy did that pay off. We were set for a June 2020 wedding when COVID hit. We moved our date twice and Marian rolled with it. While other brides and grooms were in screaming matches with their vendors over money, date shifts, logistics, etc. Marian was so flexible, so graceful, so perfect. She didn't add more stress to an already stressful situation. That's what you get when you deal with real, down-to-earth humans. You also get a beautiful product. That product was recommended to me, and it's one that I will recommend to others. For beautiful arrangements, floral ideas based on experience, and an all-around stress-free experience, Antebellum is the way to go.

Excellent Service!

This was one of my favorite vendors to work with for my big day! Very patient with my many questions and changes. Easy to work with, the owner is kind and has great customer service. Most importantly, my flowers were absolutely STUNNING!! My only regret is that I can’t make my flowers last forever!

The best!!

Marian was a dream!! Wedding flowers were an intimidating part of the wedding planning process for me, and she made it so easy! She was very receptive to any and all of my ideas, but she also stepped in and gave guidance when needed. Better yet, the floral arrangements were stunning!! I could not have asked for a better experience!

Our arrangements were perfect

Our floral arrangements were stunning and perfect. Marian brought our vision to life, and then made it even better. Her knowledge and expertise is unbounded, and shows in every little detail. She made every effort to ensure that our florals were perfect for our big day. Two days before our wedding, we broke one of the vases we were planning on using for our aisle arrangements and Marian saved us the hassle of having to scramble and find a replacement by letting us use two of her vases free of charge. Additionally, to make sure that the floral for our ceremony arch/arbor could be repurposed for our sweetheart table, she designed the arrangement on site at the venue the day of. She also was patient enough to wait for our cake to arrive (to dress it) when the vendor showed up late.

We couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Marian. 10/10 cannot recommend enough.

Amazing wedding flowers!!!

Marian was amazing at coming up with THE most beautiful flower bouquets and arrangements for my wedding in September. I received many many compliments. I didn’t have a whole lot of knowledge regarding flowers or options and Marian was great at showing options and giving input based on wedding colors, vibe, etc. After our wedding numbers got cut in half, Marian was fine with our order changing pretty drastically. She communicated well with my wedding coordinator and even helped arrange some flowers for us that we were originally supposed to do ourselves. Check her Instagram for her creations!! Her flowers are not only beautiful but also budget friendly. Would definitely recommend Marian to anyone for perfectly executed flowers to match your wedding vision!

Perfect Florist

Marian is really the best at what she does. We had a long list of all the pieces of our floral vision, and she made them all work together perfectly! Her team was very professional and timely, and when we had to do a quick change to move our ceremony inside, they did not miss a beat and were able to save the day. The Antebellum team is easy to work with and really brought the luxury-look to our wedding.

Antebellum Design made my wedding day over the top stunning. I am so appreciative of the time and effort put into my floral arrangements so that they'd be perfect on my big day. One of my favorites parts of the day!

Let me just start with saying that I didn't think I cared that much about the floral at my wedding until I got to my wedding and saw how BEAUTIFUL it all was.. and now I am obsessed with florals! My expectations were blown away and I am beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. They worked with our budget & helped us find what would look best for that budget. When i showed up to my venue, everything was set up and perfect and i didnt have to worry about anything. Would 100% recommend!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Antebellum Design

Marian and her entire staff are amazing! She nailed my vision for floral for my wedding day. I could not have asked for anything different or more. She was so flexible in meeting times and was always so nice and easy to work with. She was so great in helping us to save money by reusing florals from different parts of the wedding day. Marian is simply the best. She’s been in the floral business for a long time and has a lot of knowledge on flowers and design. She was able to save me some money on reusing bouquets as flowers for tables and such. She is so pleasant to work with and answers every question thoroughly and to make sure you are okay with everything. She even met me after hours to show me some of the decor items (because I’m a control freak and need to see everything). I am so appreciative of her! Also, her flowers are PHENOMENAL. Contract antebellum design if you are thinking about it. You won’t be disappointed. And I’m picky...

6 reasons Antebellum Designs exceeded my expectations:

1.) Marian and Christine were very responsive to all of my emails.
2.) They worked with my budget. Marian suggested ways to “re-purpose” the arrangements when we could and saved us money (ex: my bridesmaid bouquets were used as a few of the centerpieces).
3.) She was very receptive to my ideas at our first meeting and provided a very detailed game plan for the day of the wedding.
4.) The arrangements were absolutely GORGEOUS. The bouquets, cake flowers, centerpieces, sign foliage, EVERYTING looked like it were designed for Pinterest.
5.) They worked with last minute additions (up until 2 weeks, I believe).
6.) They delivered and set up everything. It was a very stress-free process.

If you are looking for a talented florist with excellent customer service, I cannot recommend Antebellum Designs enough.

I cannot say enough good things about Christine and Marian! I planned my wedding in Texas from New York and they were so communicative and sweet and made long-distance floral planning so easy! They are so knowledgeable and everything came out looking absolutely amazing. I'm a very visual person, too, and even though I couldn't come in to meet as often as I'd like, they have pictures of the flowers in the proposal which was so incredibly helpful! I held it together on my wedding day really well but cried when I saw my bouquet.
I loved working with them (so did my mom and my planner and my husband) and HIGHLY recommend them!!

These lovely ladies were incredibly responsive, friendly, and reasonably priced. Their creativity and beautiful, romantic style were exactly what I hoped for! I absolutely loved all our flowers from Antebellum - working with Marian and Christine was so much fun! My mom and I know that we love flowers, but hardly know anything about them. We went into our initial meeting with just one picture of a bouquet from Pinterest as inspiration. They totally ran with that and came up with various centerpiece options and I loved seeing them use their creativity to create a stunning winter wedding for us! Marian and Christine were absolutely AMAZING! Words cannot begin to describe how beautiful they made our wedding rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. The florals and decorations they provided were more than I could have ever envisioned. Our colors were gold and white- they were so successful in making our venue look clean and elegant. I kind of had an idea of what I wanted going into the initial appointment, but they far surpassed my vision. They also provided stunning table and entry decorations and votives to add a special touch!

Not only is Antebellum Design incredibly talented, but they were also very easy to work with and so incredibly kind!

The flowers were one of my favorite parts of our wedding- we feel so lucky to have worked with Marian and Christine :)

Marian and Christine were fantastic. Our florist cancelled 6 weeks before our wedding and we were so worried. I met with Marian and I knew right away she was a professional and I just knew they would do a great job. The flowers turned out 100 times better than we had even hoped for. They were just beautiful and exactly what we had envisioned. What could have been a horrible situation with our florist quitting at the last minute turned out to be the best thing that could have happened! I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Two of the most talented and beautiful souls in this dynamic duo; Marian and Christine! I had only given Marian and Christine a brief description of what I wanted and not much time at all to put something together...basically "flowers and peacock feathers and fast please". I am so impressed with Antebellum Designs!! I had a general idea of what I wanted, but hadn't really worked through all the details. A different florist was frustrated that I didn't know right off the bat exactly what I wanted and the numbers of arrangements, etc. I decided to look around and I am so thankful I did!! I found Antebellum on my quest for a florist that was easier to work with and visited their website. I was thrilled at the beautiful arrangements and creativity in each design I saw on there. I contacted Marian and Christine and to my delight, they were fantastic to work with, too!! I was planning our wedding from across the country so we had to trade many, many emails back and forth (and phone calls), but they were so patient and kind about every change I came up with. Then when the big day came and I saw the most amazing flowers an arrangements I had ever seen, it was just awesome!! I can't express enough how much I love what they did for our wedding!! They were such a pleasure to work with and I received COUNTLESS compliments on our decor. Their vision completely surpassed what I dreamed of. They will not disappoint you, I promise! By the way, since we were leaving town right after the wedding, we gave all our beautiful arrangements to the hotel we were staying in and they, too loved them!! They were proudly on display in the lobby as others in the wedding party were departing a couple of days later.

Working with Antebellum Design is a dream come true. It is literally like Marian and Christine could look hrough my daughters eyes and see the exact vision she had for both the wedding and reception. I have never, quite honestly, worked with people who were so kind, so professional, so responsive and so talented. We are just incredibly grateful that Antebellum was recommended to us! We were so confident they were "our floral designers" the first time we met that we never even got another quote. WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL!! When I met with Antebellum Design I instantly knew this would be a wonderful company to work with for my big day. Marian was so easy to talk with about my ideas and offered some ideas as well from her experience. In a meeting I had with another vendor, I had to provide ALL the ideas and this just wasn't what I wanted. Here, they showed me their work and were prepared! They have a screen where they can show examples of flowers, arrangements, bouquets, vases, etc. I am SUPER visual and this was extremely helpful! I met once more with Antebellum Design and my parents to give them more of a visual on what we picked. Then my parents worked more closely with Marian. They picked out the pedestals that would hold our arrangements at the ceremony and they offered to take them to the ceremony. The day of, she arrived and delivered the flowers, but waited to ensure they were put out in the heat at the very last minute so as not to be tortured by the sun. What a special touch to show how much she cares about her final product. I wish I had a picture of all the bouquets, but they were GORGEOUS. Thank you thank you for your guidance in this process! We LOVED our flowers and would recommend you in a heartbeat.

Words cannot express how thankful I am to have had Marian and Christine do the floral for my wedding!! I went through at least 3 different floral designs and they patiently worked with me every step of the way. I lived out of town so we had exchanged countless emails and pictures to pinpoint the exact look I wanted. Their natural talent helped me achieve the vintage English garden theme I dreamed of. What impressed me most was their honesty when I asked for their opinion and they never tried to upsell me. They would tell me if a design would add to decor or if it wasn't necessary. They would also help to repurpose any floral that we could. I was a bride on a budget and Antebellum design worked with what I had. Everything turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. Antebellum Design is amazing! I'm not a flower person so when they asked what flowers I wanted I didn't have a clue. I just had an overall idea of what vibe I wanted and they went above and beyond my expectations! I know the bridal magazines say people don't remember these sorts of things after weddings but I had people commenting non stop on how beautiful the flowers and centerpieces were. They were professional, not pushy and overall I knew I could trust them. They were amazing experience and I highly recommend them.

Marian and Christine were an absolute delight to work with. We visited a beautiful venue in McKinney, Texas and during the consultation the venue was being set up for a wedding that day. We observed absolutely gorgeous floral arrangements being set up for the wedding. We inquired who was the vendor for the floral arrangements and were told it was Antebellum Design, LLC.

Upon meeting with Antebellum Design we received professional services and a personalized proposal to meet our needs and budget. Suggestions were made how to decorate both the wedding and reception using arrangements that could be moved from after the service to the reception hall. Antebellum provided suggestions to create the best overall visual effect at the reception while being efficient with the budget.

The day of the wedding Antebellum was professional, prompt, and delivered the most incredible floral experience. We know of weddings that cost twice what we spent with Antebellum and didn’t get the same quality or visual effect that we received. The difference was quality and superb floral design. We receive compliments from many people at the wedding about how gorgeous the floral designs were. We couldn’t have been more satisfied.

I just had my wedding on 5/29 in McKinney, TX. When I first started planning my wedding, I had booked a different floral company. Unfortunately, through unforeseen circumstances that company went out of business about 6 months before my wedding. I was extremely upset at first but quickly started to look for a replacement and found Antebellum Floral Designs. From the second I met Marian and Christine they were generous, kind and full of suggestions for my wedding. Though I hadn’t chosen them originally, they were definitely the better choice over all. Other floral companies acted like this was just another job to them, while Antebellum was genuinely committed to making sure they understood exactly what I wanted. After the appointment they provided me their proposal outlining what I had asked for, the pricing and exactly which flowers (with pictures) to help me understand how everything would look (I know nothing about flowers). I ended up changing my proposal about 5 times because of venue issues, over-zealousness on my part, budget constraints, etc and every time Marian and Christine were helpful and patient with me and helped me get within my budget (about $1800). On the day of the wedding, when I first saw all the flowers, I thought it was the most beautiful thing I had seen. They were gorgeous and everything that I wanted! I would recommend this company to another bride in a heartbeat.

Marian and her team at Antebellum Design are amazing! I am not much of a flower girl, however after leaving my initial meeting I was SO EXCITED. Marian was wonderful with bringing my floral ideas and color scheme to life. She spent extensive time with us, showing pictures, sample flowers, and sample arrangements to ensure our florals were nothing less than perfect. She even designed a specialty color and leash for our “flower dog”. She had wonderful ideas on reusing certain elements from the ceremony to the reception which was very helpful regarding costs. She arrived early on the day of and the set up was immaculate. I was also blown away by her walls and walls of beautiful vases including the collection of both gold and silver mercury glass. Marian and her team were so easy to work with and the results were perfect. I would recommend them to everyone!

Antebellum design is fantastic! I was pleased with their services- from the beautiful bouquets, reception table décor to the cake stands...It all was fabulous! I couldn't have imagined my ideas transformed into anything more perfect that what Christine and Marian pulled off for my wedding. Antebellum Designs was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire wedding process. I was able to explain to them the look that I wanted and then they did all the rest. I was so impressed with Antebellum Designs from the moment my mom & I first met with them. I wasn't really sure what I wanted as far as floral arrangements went, I just knew I wanted to keep it simple. Marian & Christine did such an amazing job, showing me pictures to get an idea of what I liked. They were incredibly knowledgeable about my venue as well & while it seemed like other florists were trying to "up-sell" me, Marian & Christine were very honest. They made me feel like they were truly focused on my vision for my wedding, as opposed to adding on extra arrangements that I didn't really need or want. I think that was really what sealed the deal for my mom & I. Their pricing is very fair & they were very conscious of what would be in season for my New Year's Eve wedding - suggesting seasonal alternatives that fit my style. They were incredibly laid back & put me at ease. I truly felt like I was able to leave everything in their hands. On the day of the wedding, they delivered everything promptly & it was so beautiful! My bouquet was amazing, the bridesmaids all looked perfect, as did the guys & I was so happy with what they came up with for the moms & our "house party". I really can't recommend them enough! Thank you both for making my day beautiful & special!

I had 3 friends who used Antebellum for their weddings and insisted that I contact them when I got engaged. I was not disappointed! Marian and Christine are an absolute JOY to work with. Their studio is lovely and they take such care for what they do. They are incredibly talented and made the entire process so easy. Do not hesitate in contacting these ladies. In my opinion, flowers add so much to the details of the wedding/reception. Antebellum brings your choices together to create a work of art. They are wonderful at making the arrangements versatile. We were able to use the wedding flowers in the reception area with great ease. Our venue was the same for both events, but if you must transfer locations, they still make the transit simple. My daughter and I met with Marian and Christine and they were very attentive to the overall look, atmosphere, and desires of my daughter. They listened to every detail making suggestions on ways to get the look at the best price. When you have questions along the way, they are prompt to respond. When we arrived at the venue, I was able to see them and glad I did at that time, for they did their work and were gone before I realized. I would have loved to share with them how beautiful I felt everything was! Marian and Christine are artists! You will not be disappointed!!!

Marian and Christine are very very friendly, they always assist me with the warmest smile.
For my bouquet, I told them I love rose, hydrangea and orchid. And I like ivory and pink and I also mentioned to them that I wanted the bouquet to look romantic. Well, I have no idea what kind of magic did they use, but my bouquet was wayyyyy prettier than what I imagined. I was sooo in love with my bouquet and everybody keeps telling me that my bouquet is so pretty.
The bridesmaid's bouquets, the boutonnieres and the corsages were so pretty too. My bridesmaids told me that they kept trying to hold the bouquet all the time just because it was too pretty.

Marian was wonderful to work with. The flowers were the most beautiful I have ever seen and they were exactly what we discussed I wanted. She came in way under our budget so we were able to order extra flowers. They were one time professional and even set out extra decorations that I brought and wanted to have with there flowers. They assisted with the clean up at my venue and gave me no stress on my big day. They are also very nice to work with, Marian knows her flowers.

If I could give Marian & Christine 10 stars for professionalism & flexibility I would! They were absolutely wonderful to work with through the whole process, including my last minute change to move the ceremony & reception indoors due to weather. We received countless compliments on the flowers. My personal favorite was the heart-stopping arrangement of pink orchids at the entry. The colors were vibrant and the flowers were ultra-fresh. We were still able to enjoy them after we returned from the wedding! I can't say enough about how pleased I am!

From planning to take down, Antebellum Design performed above and beyond any expectation. For the bride who does not quite have a concept of her Big Day, Antebellum Design offers bonanza of event pictures to help with the decision making. For the bride on budget, Marian and Christine, the face of Antebellum Design, have endless ideas to stay in the color scheme, but take on the seasonal flowers and reuse ceremony flower arrangements in reception. In our case, Antebellum Design turned a 21st century wedding into a fairy tale. Young girls attending the wedding wanted the contact numbers of Antebellum for their future use. My favorite comment was,"I never copy people, but I am getting Antebellum Design and I want these exact same flower arrangements." At the time of "Catch the Bouquet" my daughter managed to throw the bouquet high into the chandelier. A second later she was holding a second bouquet, just as beautiful , ready to throw again. Antebellum Design had contingency plan even for this rare situation. Marian and Christine have impeccable taste and class and their positive attitude and energy make the process even more enjoyable. We will chose Antebellum design again for our next big event. Thank you, Antebellum!

Marian and Christine were pleasures to work with! They helped turn my dream wedding into a fantasy. For the majority of the planning process, I lived out of town, but they were always so prompt in returning calls and emails and alleviating all of my concerns. They sat with me and went through what everything was going to look like, and they worked with me on price. They helped me stay under my price point and were always coming up with ideas on how to make everything even more beautiful while bringing down cost. At the wedding itself, all the guests commented on how beautiful all of our flowers and decor were. The flowers photographed beautifully and I still love looking at them in pictures.. From the moment I walked into Antebellum months before my wedding until the day everything came together on my wedding day, they were there making sure everything was EXACTLY how I wanted it. At first, I didn't really know what I wanted. I barely knew what colors I was going to be using. The ladies at Antebellum didn't skip a beat. They showed me designs, tried to get me thinking, and promised me that we could keep changing everything up until the last few weeks. Thank goodness for that! Less than a month before the wedding, I felt like I completely changed everything I wanted except for the colors. I decided I didn't want certain flowers, I wanted more greenery, I totally changed my bouquet from perfectly shaped to crazy loose and I was so afraid I was too late. I walked into the shop and told them what I was thinking. Marian and Christine were SO excited that I knew what I wanted that they didn't care that I was changing it up on them! They are so great about making sure every bride gets what she wants for her dream day. I couldn't be more happy with the way everything turned out. My floral was AAAAAAAAMAZING. I couldn't rate Antebellum any higher on the scale or I would have. I recommend them 100%.

Marian did SUCH a great job at my wedding helping everything come together perfectly. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and went perfectly with the look that we wanted. Antebellum was great when preparing for the wedding and listening to the style that I liked and making suggestions/edits of what would look best and it all turned out perfectly. My daughter and I interviewed several florists to use for her wedding. We had a palette and an idea of the types of flowers and "look" in mind; Marian at Antebellum Designs took those ideas and developed a design idea that was far above and beyond our expectations. She educated us on the seasonal availability of our preferred flowers and gave us choices of backups in case those flowers were not available.

The finished product was breathtakingly beautiful! When Marian delivered the flowers to the venue, I cried. Antebellum Designs will be my "go to" florist from now on.

I recently got married at the Nasher and working with Antebellum was simply delightful. Both Marian and Christine’s professionalism and meticulous attention to detail really stood out from day one. They are so easy to work with and they automatically knew what my vision was after our first meeting. With all the obstacles thrown our way from the weather, seating arrangements, and last minute orders, Antebellum truly went above and beyond, seamlessly taking care of all the little details. Marian and Christine are amazing at what they do. In speaking with several florists, they were by far the best value. The flowers were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! They were very flexible with last minute changes I made (actually decreasing my order). Everyone could not raving about all the flowers. From the moment I met with Marian and Christine, I knew they were who I wanted to work with for my floral needs. I met with many floral companies, but clicked with them immediately. They are very easy to work with and very accommodating. I went through my vision and showed them some ideas on our first meeting. They showed me some concepts and helped me pull it all together. The initial bid was fantastic! Unfortunately, we had to cut the budget unexpectedly, so I went back to them a few weeks later and they were very nice and accommodating in helping me pull my budget down without sacrificing my vision and "cheaping" it out. They discussed flowers options that would save me money and spent time with me to make sure that I was happy with the end result. The day of the wedding, they had already set up everything by the time I arrive (I didn't even get to say hi) and it was GORGEOUS! They did a great job pulling everything together and making sure it was all perfect for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their floral needs. I only had to meet with Marian and Christine one time to know they were the florists I had to have for my wedding. They connected with me like I wasn't just another bride they were working with, and they made me feel like my wedding was just as important to them as it was for me! They responded to every question I had via e-mail promptly, and I was SO impressed with how they were able to take my tight budget and give me EXACTLY what I had envisioned for an extremely affordable price. I took pictures I found off Pinterest for my flower-filled pumpkin centerpieces, and they were not only able to re-create it, but they made them 100 times BETTER than what I had found! Where many brides and MOBs have no idea what they want, we were the opposite. They are both very personable and worked with us on our budget and the flowers looked great on our wedding day. I am very happy we found antebellum designs.

Antebellum was great to work with. I had changed my mind about 3 different times and they were very patient and listened to me each time. The flowers on our cake table were amazing, as were the guest reception tables. Our head table was absolutely to die for as well. I was a bit disappointed in the flowers on our bar. I do not know if it was Antebellum's fault, but I didn't understand fully what they were going to look like. I had a picture for inspiration and the final result looked nothing like the picture. I also thought that the boutineers looked a little worn by the time they made it to the men. But again, I do not know if they just got a little worn during transportation (someone else picked them up since the bouts were going to a different location). Overall, I think that they were very nice to work with and 99% of everything looked great!

Have to say Marian was awesome!!! Easy to contact and coordinate with. Quick responses excellent customer service. Not to mention the AMAZING job she did on my flower arrangements. Very reasonably priced and top quality work. Would recommend 100% every time.

My first impression of Antebellum described in three words are: caring, professional, and dependable. All of the staff at antebellum were quick to respond and very kind. They are willing to work with your budget without making you feel obligated to spend more. My wedding flowers were an absolute dream. I got so many compliments about my floral arrangements. I knew Marian and her team were the right choice the second I met them. She took us on a tour of her huge warehouse and helped figure out what style of wedding I wanted. She had wonderful ideas and helped create a truly beautiful day. The day of my wedding it was a little windy. The ceremony was outside and during my pictures just before the wedding one of the candelabras fell over and glass broke everywhere! Marian was super nice about it and figured out how to replace it and make everything workout even in the crazy wind. I also forgot to ask her petals for the flower girl so Marian offered to run out and get some for us that day. She was so nice and helpful truly cannot say enough great things about Antebellum Design & Event Co. I have recommended them to so many friends already!

Marian and Christine at Antebellum Design & Events do exceptional work and are a pleasure to work with. Everything they use is top notch - vases, stands, candles, lanterns etc.
The flowers and arrangements are gorgeous and very fresh. I would recommend Antebellum for any decorating event you may have.

I planned my wedding in less than 2 months so I really had to make quick decisions. I contacted Antebellum Design and sent them a few pictures of what I was looking for. I was floored by how incredible they looked on my wedding day. The colors were so vibrant and they pop in every picture. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. Terrific experience!

Antebellum were great to work with. We did not know what we really wanted and with just a couple of minutes with them, they were able to show us some great arrangements that was perfect for our wedding. They have great vision and are easy to work with. They even put together an arrangement for the wedding cake that looked amazing.

Marian and Christine were great to work with! When I came in with my husband and wedding planner for an initial consultation, they knew exactly what I wanted. Their prices were the most competitive, and on our wedding day, the flowers arrived without a hitch. I came downstairs and they were actually helping set up chairs! The flowers and décor for our daughter's wedding was so more beautiful than Sara ( the bride) and I ( her mother) could ever imagine! Our church has a tendency to look like a man cave...but not the day of our daughter's wedding! It looked as if you were walking into a secret place in a beautiful garden! Please, please do go and meet Marian. I planned a rehearsal dinner with her and our wedding planner, Amanda Porter, (she and Marion work together) all while in another state.
I met with Marion once, Amanda twice and in those two meetings they "got" what I envisioned. They put on the loveliest rehearsal dinner and reception our new daughter-in-law and I dreamed of.
Ask to see photos of both rehearsal and reception venues from the Mooney wedding.
Marian's creativity is over the top and her prices are fabulous!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Marian and her Antebellum team. After meeting with several "cookie-cutter" florists in the Dallas area who I had been referred to, I decided to do my own research. I knew from the moment I walked in the door to their warm and inviting showroom that I was in the right place. To say they went above and beyond doesn't do it justice. Like most brides, I had a wish list that far exceeded my budget, but you never would have known on the day of my wedding thanks to her vast knowledge of flowers and creativity.

On top of creating amazing floral arrangements, they couldn't have been nicer, more responsive, or flexible to our ever-changing needs. I did my fair share of chasing down vendors about headcount changes, day-of timelines, etc., but they were never one of them. We loved working with them so much by the time we had finished all of our consultations I was legitimately sad that Marian had another wedding that evening and wouldn't be able to physically attend my reception as a guest!

There is no doubt in my mind that if I had to plan a wedding again tomorrow, Antebellum would be the first vendor I secured for my date.

The wedding was amazing and the flowers were the highlight. They worked with my mom and I to get a great value on seasonal flowers in all these bright fun colors. They arrived on time and set up quickly. I would recommend them to ANYONE. There were angels, perfect flower bearing angels.

My September 14th wedding at the Dallas Arboretum was absolutely gorgeous! From the moment I met Marian and her associate during our initial appointment, I knew I wanted her to be my florist and didn't look anywhere else! She was pleasant, easy to work with and able to create a dream vision with only a few photos and thoughts of my own. She is really sweet and made the process completely stress-free! She sent a proposal within just a couple of days and the pricing was incredibly fair! It helped that I provided a specific budget and was able to get everything from my wish list without exceeding that budget. I really felt like she was honest and focused more on customer service and making me happy rather than trying to sell me on floral details that would increase the cost. Within one week of my event, she was happy to make last minute adjustments. On the day of the wedding, her team of associates delivered everything to the Arboretum. Her staff was friendly, professional and helpful! The floral arrangements at the ceremony and reception sites were gorgeous and exactly as I had imagined. I could not have have been more impressed or pleased! So glad I did business with Antebellum Design! If I ever need floral arrangements for future events, I will be sure to call Marian!

I can not say enough positive things about Mariam and Antebellum Design. I knew from the first day I met with her I not only wanted her to be my wedding florist, but I NEEDED her to be. The passion literally oozes from her as she discusses your desires for your special day. She truly listens to what you want and brings it to life. Mariam provided all of my floral needs in only the way she can. She is very reasonably priced, extremely responsive and the flowers were so fresh and fragrant. Let me start off by saying I did not think flower centerpieces would be in our budget. Our coordinator recommended Marian and I am so glad she did before I chose other centerpieces. I honestly thought I could only afford the bouquets and other floral items from Antebellum. After meeting with Marian and looking through her shop my whole attitude about our wedding changed. I realized we could afford floral centerpieces. I showed Marian pictures and ideas of what I envisioned and she made it all happen. My wedding was beyond beautiful. The flowers were my absolute favorite thing. The reception and table centerpieces were so pretty. I have had so many compliments. I loved all our bouquets and and boutineers and corsages. Everything was amazing. At the last minute we added flowers to the top of our Chuppah and they were beautiful too. I can't express in words how happy all the flowers made me or how beautiful they were. I can't even describe it how much I loved them and how happy they made me. I am so happy we met Marian and were able to have all the flowers I only dreamed of having, but thought we couldn't afford. She is amazing. An added surprise at the end was being able to have my peonie bouquet that I so wanted. We were afraid they were out of season, but she was able to surprise me with a beautiful bouquet. I absolutely loved loved loved everything she did. She is wonderful. My flowers were so beautiful, all of them and made me so extremely happy!!! The flowers actually made it a wedding I only dreamed about.

The ladies at Antebellum were great! They listened to all of my feedback regarding flowers and made beautiful bouquets for our big day. They went above and beyond to help out a stressed out bride! The day of my wedding I got my hair done in the morning and decided a few white flowers in my hair would just complete the look. I called Antebellum an hour before they were going to deliver my flowers and asked if they could bring a long a few small white roses to put in my hair. When I got to the venue, everything was waiting, and they didn't even charge me extra for the few extra flowers.

Antebellum Design did all the decorations and flowers for my wedding. I gave an overall idea of what I wanted and they brought their expertise and styles in to create something that was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Antebellum Design was one of my favorite vendors to work with! I used them for my ceremony and reception flowers and I was able to easily communicate my vision to Marian. She and her team executed flawlessly. I trusted Marian and her team to just run with the ideas we talked about as they understood immediately the look and feel I was going for. Marian was always responsive to emails or questions I had--which sometimes was a lot! Also, I cannot express how nice everyone at Antebellum is. They truly work to accommodate your wedding vision and help explain certain wedding customs and traditions that are relevant to planning the florals for your big day. We received so many compliments from our guests about how gorgeous the flowers were and how perfect they went with the mercury glass vases and centerpieces. Antebellum is truly the best there is!

Not only did Antebellum Design create amazing arrangements in my rather tight budget, but they also were able to create bouquets for my flower girls with just 2 weeks notice! They were very friendly, punctual, and the quality of their work is outstanding. There's no sense in overpaying for flowers on your wedding day, and they can honestly work within any budget!

Marian was absolutely wonderful to work with!! She took my vision and added her own expert suggestions to create the perfect look for our big day. Marian was wonderful!!! She was so sweet and caring. Our wedding was on Mother's Day weekend which made the flower world completely crazy and chaotic. Needless to say, a flower I was obsessed with provided extremely limited and hard to find, no fault of Marian's. She was so sweet, she called me so worried and worked tirelessly to find a comparable flower with assurances she wouldn't stop attempting to find the original that we wanted. She totally came through and found it. She also was extremely budget conscious and did everything she could to carry out our vision without going overboard like some of the other quotes we had received. So happy with her, will use her again for other events and would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Marian for making everything unbelievable and for being so easy to work with!
I even completely missed a meeting I had scheduled with her and she was so forgiving and nice. I really appreciated how easy going and super helpful she was. My Mom loved how up to date her vessels were as well!

We are so pleased we chose Antebellum Design and Events Co for our Floral arrangements! From the beginning of the process, Marian made the planning process so easy, and she was able to envision something more amazing than we had hoped for. All the flowers were fresh, and the arrangements were breathtaking. So many of our guests commented on the beautiful flowers! Not only was everything absolutely gorgeous, but the timing of everything was perfect, and we did not have to worry for one moment that something would not be done.
