We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding than Anodyne Coffee! From the very beginning, Erica was incredible to work with. She patiently answered all of our many questions, helped us plan our non-traditional daytime lunch wedding, and supported our vision for a fun and unique celebration complete with wedding trivia. Her guidance and attention to detail helped make the entire planning process feel seamless.
The venue itself was beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for our special day. The custom coffee drinks were such a fun and memorable touch, and our guests loved them! Anodyne was also very reasonably priced, especially for the amazing service, flexibility, and experience they provided.
Our wedding day truly was the best day of our lives, and we are so grateful to Erica and the entire Anodyne team for helping make it so special. We would highly recommend Anodyne Coffee to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique, and welcoming wedding venue! -

Anodyne is the perfect Milwaukee wedding venue!! We had our wedding there in April of this year we we couldn't be happier. Erica is so professional and made us feel taken care of every step of the way - she truly is a gem in the Milwaukee wedding community. All of our guests raved about how beautiful and cozy the venue was. The wood tables and beams are absolutely gorgeous. We had a Grateful Dead cover band (shout out to Seaside Zoo!!). The stage was perfect for them and the sound was AMAZING! My husband got up on stage and was singing with the band - it was truly the best day of our lives! Erica, we are forever grateful!! -

We got married at Anodyne at the end of June, and had a great experience from the moment we first inquired about the venue to the wedding day itself. Erica was such a help throughout the entire planning process, sharing ideas from past weddings, recommending vendors, and being quickly available for any questions we had, big and small. The space is beautiful by itself already, so we did not need much at all in terms of extra decor (just flowers!), and were also able to borrow from the Anodyne inventory of some of the misc. extras (table numbers, card box - great to not have to buy 1-time use things!). The wedding day itself the entire Anodyne team was so great, things stayed organized and on time, we definitely felt like they were looking out for us and as a result the two of us were able to turn any worries off and just be fully present in having fun and enjoying the love we were surrounded by. Would recommend Anodyne to anyone. -

My husband and I got married this March at Anodyne, and we cannot say enough good things about our experience!
When we began the search for a venue, we knew we wanted something that reflected our personality and was affordable. How cool is it that getting married at a coffee shop was a possibility?! We reached out, and Erica responded to our request professionally and quickly. We were able to tour the cafe, and we knew right away this is where we wanted to spend our wedding day.
We held our ceremony and reception here, and there are many offerings Erica and her team at Anodyne have to make your day just the way you'd like. Communication throughout the whole planning process was stellar, renting decor was a huge bonus, and Erica and her team were rockstars on our wedding day making sure we didn't have to lift a finger. We would recommend Anodyne to anyone looking for a place to host their special day! Thanks again Anodyne, and thanks again Erica! -

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for our special day. Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. was the ideal blend of industrial chic and cozy charm. The beautiful, historic space was the perfect backdrop for our intimate wedding of about 90 guests. Erica, our venue coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and professionalism made the entire planning process stress-free. Other vendors we hired like our coordinator definitely agreed. The Anodyne team was fantastic to work with. The space itself is stunning, requiring minimal decor to transform into a magical setting. We loved the vintage aesthetic and the delicious coffee, of course! We highly recommend Anodyne to any couple seeking a unique, affordable, and LGBTQ+ friendly venue. It was truly a dream come true. -

Anodyne ended up being the perfect wedding venue for us. The rustic meets modern downtown coffee shop vibes were just what we were looking for. Let me tell you, this place is nice during the day, but at night this place comes alive with the string lights, moody mirrors, and classic radio wall. My husband and I took moments throughout the night to just around and admire the dreaminess of the venue. We received so many compliments about the bartenders and the venue coordinator Erica. The bartenders were super friendly and fast, and one of them even told us at the end of the night how much fun they had too! Erica was AMAZING to work with throughout the year and a half of planning. From the very first email to the last goodbye at the end of the wedding, she was the reason that everything ran so smoothly. We had multiple meetings with her leading up to the wedding, and she was helpful and accommodating every time. She told us that her goal was for us to enjoy our day and not sweat the small things, and that's exactly what she did! We held the ceremony and the reception there, and the transition after the ceremony was seamless and took less than ten minutes. Erica and her staff also set up all of our decor. We left the decor with her the day before the wedding, and when we walked up the stairs into Anodyne everything was set up the way we imagined it. No, better than we imagined! They went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend Anodyne if you're getting married in Milwaukee! -

The Anodyne team killed it for our wedding. The space is so cool and unique. The reclaimed wood tables, decor inventory to borrow, brick wall feature, and stage, really add something special for events. The tables and chairs were included with the space rental. The location was excellent - walking distance to the Iron Horse. We can’t say enough good things about Erica. She was easy to communicate with, responsive, always had answers to our many questions. I’ve known Erica for a while but she recognized my (now) wife who she only met when we booked for our wedding and always said hi when she’d come in for coffee on the weekends. This made us very comfortable and feel special. We’d pick Anodyne again and again if we did it over. -

We had our wedding at Anodyne in May 2024 and had an absolutely wonderful experience! We felt 100% taken care of from the first time we talked to Erica to picking up our leftovers the day after the wedding. Almost everything about our wedding was non-traditional, and Erica was open to all our ideas. She patiently and kindly helped us test and figure out which ones would work best - and this mostly happened long distance since we live on the East Coast! The Anodyne staff was also kind and welcoming every time we visited - from looking around the first time, to setting up a few nights before, to the big night itself. Only good things to say about Anodyne! -

We got married Aug 2023 at Anodyne and it was nothing short of amazing. Erica (the venue coordinator) is absolutely amazing at her job. She was fast at communicating, detail oriented, organized, efficient, and super helpful the day of even playing our ceremony music and going above and beyond to make our day perfect. The bar staff was also really friendly! There is a reason this venue books up quickly and has so many good reviews! Thank you Anodyne and Erica for an unforgettable wedding! -

I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a reception or ceremony/reception venue in Milwaukee! From beginning to end Erica and her team were great to work with. We had to reschedule our reception from 2022 to 2023 and there was no hassle or charge to do so. All along the way Erica was on top of everything and incredibly responsive to any questions I may have had. The day of went so smoothly because of the work of Erica and her team. I heard raves from all our friends and family about how cool the venue was. We did minimal decoration because the venue really speaks for itself.
We had 126 people in the end and it was a perfect fit! While I'm not sure I want to go through the stress of planning another reception :) I would definitely choose Anodyne again for any event that may come along, and would highly recommend to anyone looking a reception venue! -

Cozy winter wedding!
Erica and her colleagues were so incredibly easy to work with. We wanted simple, cozy, elegance… This was perfect. The space was rustic and chic. We are an older couple with lots of kids and grandkids. Everyone felt comfortable. And welcomed in the space. The lighting was absolutely perfect. Erica went above and beyond to make this a seamless and beautiful evening for our families and for us. -

We had our wedding at Anodyne in April 2022, and it was beyond our expectations. We knew we liked the venue because we lived in Milwaukee and had been there before, and we loved the coffee (plus the opportunity to give out coffee as a wedding favor). What we didn't expect was the bonus of feeling so at ease because Erica, basically a built-in wedding magician, made the whole wedding process so easy. We used some of her vendor recommendations and loved them, and appreciated that she was willing to make suggestions throughout the planning process when we didn't know what we were doing! Erica answers emails and questions promptly and kindly, she checks in about important things like layout and event timing, and she is there during the whole wedding event with other excellent Anodyne staff. We wouldn't have changed a single thing about our wedding and feel very lucky to have had it at Anodyne. -

We had such a wonderful wedding experience at Anodyne! Erica was so helpful and easy going, she made the stress of wedding planning much more bearable. She was very organized and helpful throughout the whole process. She helped us get connected to our caterer as well! The evening went by so smoothly and was flexible with our needs to push our timeline back a little for the evening. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has always been my favorite coffee shop to get coffee at. We are so happy we were able to have our wedding there. -

A Wonderful Winter Wedding
When my matron of honor first suggested that we check out Anodyne for our wedding venue, I thought to myself "there is no way I am getting married at a coffee house". I had a vision for a small, intimate, formal black-tie wedding. But when we walked in the door, we immediately fell in love with the brick detailing, wood tables and white lights. Erica was such a joy to work with and the entire staff was attentive to our needs all night. Our event was even more stunning than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend Anodyne to anyone! -

From postponing our date twice due to COVID to the actual wedding day, Erica and the Anoydne team were a dream to work with! Great communication and flexibility. Erica was truly a partner throughout the planning process, answering all of our questions and thinking through creative solutions to create the wedding reception we envisioned. Absolutely Amazing!!
We recently had our wedding reception at Anodyne. We are beyond in love with the venue and staff. Erica, the event coordinator, is one of the most amazing people we have ever met. She made everything flow seamlessly. She was there by our side the entire time - through two years of replanning our reception due to Covid. We cannot thank Anodyne enough, from the bottom of our hearts. I would rate this place one million stars if I could! You should definitely get married here!!! -

We married in late December, when the coffee shop was still decked out for the holidays. All of our guests raves about how lovely the venue was...and we barely decorated at all. With its reclaimed wood tables able fairy lights, Anodyne was the perfect reception venue for our wedding of 65 guests. Everyone loved the option of fancy coffee drinks and drinkers were impressed by the wide selection of beers and wines. With Erica coordinating, we truly had the best wedding possible. -

Perfect Unique and Beautiful Venue
Everything about our experience with Anodyne was amazing, from our first meeting with Erica (event coordinator), to walking into Anodyne the night of our wedding seeing everything look even more amazing l than we could have imagined. Everyone kept telling us how beautiful the space was, and if you have beer snob friends like we do they will not be disappointed with the incredible craft beer selection. We had our ceremony and reception at Anodyne on 10/19/19. It was the perfect venue, it's gorgeous and does not need much as far as decorations. We love city life but also the rustic aesthetic and this place combined both - great location and beautiful, charming interior. It was a cozy space and perfect for a fun, relaxed wedding. We received lots of compliments on the venue, and also for finding a place where people could order "real coffee." Anodyne was the ABSOLUTE BEST venue we could have chosen for our wedding! Everything about the venue is awesome, from the cream city brick, to the beautiful windows giving ample natural light, to the smell of coffee, it was perfect. Erica is extremely professional and accomodating, and was attentive to any concerns or questions we had. She was amazing on every level; when we first met with her, I felt like we were meeting with a long-lost friend and immediately knew that Anodyne was the place for us to host our reception! It was so easy to communicate with her the months prior to our wedding, and we were so very impressed with the execution of our wedding day! There was not one detail she left out; she helped to keep the evening on track. She was very helpful to my mom (who made all the arrangements and decor), who was somewhat anxious about getting all the decor in place for cocktail hour. With some help from my florists, she had most of the table settings in place before my mom arrived! We could honestly not have chosen a better place for our wedding. Erica and her crew at Anodyne went above and beyond to make our day perfect! -

We had our wedding at Anodyne this past weekend and let me just say that everything was so perfect! Erica the wedding coordinator from Anodyne was a rock star! She was so easy to work with and responded quickly to our many emails. The bartenders were on point the whole night. The venue was cute & clean. Our guest total was 116 and we did not feel cramped. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to have our wedding. The venue itself is very unique being a coffee roastery, but the beautiful wooden tables, lighting, and wall decor really set it apart from others. We received numerous compliments from our friends and family on the venue we chose. Super plus is Erica, Anodyne's wedding coordinator! She was amazing! And, her expertise and services came with the booking of Anodyne, which is amazing bang-for-your-buck. She was thorough, detail-oriented, and compassionately attentive to all of our wants. And, an all-around wonderful person. We would highly recommend Anodyne to anyone who is looking to get married in Milwaukee. You won't be disappointed! -

Incredible venue and staff!
Erica was the Event Director at Anodyne that we worked with. From the start, she was wonderful to work with and incredibly helpful in not only planning the reception, but the whole wedding process. She provided all the information we needed to make sure the reception was smooth, recommendations of vendors to use, and supported us in so many ways. We ended up using almost all of her recommendations, and couldn't be more grateful for them. The reception at Anodyne was beautiful, seamless, and so much fun! My husband and I can't say enough great things about Anodyne and Erica! It was important for us to support local for our wedding and to have it reflect us. Erica was INCREDIBLE to work with, she answered every question and had a solution to everything! She thought of things we didn't even think of... She was like our built in wedding planner! We went into the day with the mindset of the day being "amazing", not "perfect." Although, everything about it was perfect! Thank you so much to the Anodyne staff and Erica. Anodyne will forever hold a special place in our heart!

Rachel Sent on 11/09/2017We are so, so ridiculously happy that we had our ceremony AND reception at Anodyne.
Our total count for the night was 176 -- we were worried that it would feel overcrowded, but it actually worked out really well (although we can’t imagine having more than 180ish in there). We loved the table setup and there wasn't a minute of the night where we felt overwhelmed by the room. The longer tables led for great guest conversation and there wasn't an awkward "left out" table.
With that side room across from the bathrooms, our buffet line moved incredibly smoothly and people were even able to go back up for seconds; we've been at a lot of weddings where guests looked anxious while waiting for their food, and there wasn't any of that at our wedding.
Erica (Anodyne’s coordinator) totally exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond that day to take care of us and answer all questions leading up to that day.
We were also thrilled with the bar package we picked, which included over 17 craft beer options, 6 different wines and their coffee. We had absolutely no regrets about their liquor license not allowing hard liquor; we are big whisky drinkers, but we've been to too many weddings where the guests get too drunk because of shots. The bartenders were attentive and moved quickly, so the lines never got long or clogged.
We can say with all honesty that we wouldn't have changed a thing about our special day and look forward to visiting Anodyne often to reminisce! -

Haley Sent on 06/19/2017I seriously have nothing but good things to say about Anodyne Coffee. My fiance and I began our wedding search last July & quickly decided to go with Anodyne. We are currently stationed in Hawaii, but wanted to have a Milwaukee wedding. I went to college there & most of my family lives in the area. Lindsay was AMAZING to work with. I am so happy we went with this venue because they made it a breeze to plan it from such a distance. Lindsay was willing to Skype, email, and take phone calls with such ease. The day of the wedding was amazing, everything went smoothly without a hitch. The venue has preferred vendors, but allowed for flexibility as well. Overall, I'd say that this venue is an amazing value & showcases Milwaukee in non-traditional ways.

Erica was very responsive and on top of her game during the planning stages! She also did an AWESOME job helping with cleaning and organizing at the end of the night (was not expected at all). The only downfall here is the price $$, no parking lot, and the main point of the business is coffee so weddings are not the primary "focus" here. We LOVED the space and the ambience so those few things put aside, it was 100% worth it. Definitely a day we will never forget and we love the fact that we can come back on a sunday morning, enjoy a cup of coffee and reminisce about our wedding reception.
