We are so so happy to have found and selected Anodyne for our wedding venue. It is such a beautiful space. Erica was really responsive, professional and helpful throughout the entire planning process — and the entire Anodyne team helped to make it a beautiful night for our guests! We are grateful for all of their work in helping to make the day special.

Micro Wedding Perfection

We were looking for a small, intimate, venue with our personal touches. Anodyne and Erica were amazing. We were able to do an "ala carte" option and it was everything we wanted.

Perfect Milwaukee Venue!

The Anodyne team killed it for our wedding. The space is so cool and unique. The reclaimed wood tables, decor inventory to borrow, brick wall feature, and stage, really add something special for events. The tables and chairs were included with the space rental. The location was excellent - walking distance to the Iron Horse. We can’t say enough good things about Erica. She was easy to communicate with, responsive, always had answers to our many questions. I’ve known Erica for a while but she recognized my (now) wife who she only met when we booked for our wedding and always said hi when she’d come in for coffee on the weekends. This made us very comfortable and feel special. We’d pick Anodyne again and again if we did it over.

A Perfect Blend of Love and Coffee

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for our special day. Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. was the ideal blend of industrial chic and cozy charm. The beautiful, historic space was the perfect backdrop for our intimate wedding of about 90 guests. Erica, our venue coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and professionalism made the entire planning process stress-free. Other vendors we hired like our coordinator definitely agreed. The Anodyne team was fantastic to work with. The space itself is stunning, requiring minimal decor to transform into a magical setting. We loved the vintage aesthetic and the delicious coffee, of course! We highly recommend Anodyne to any couple seeking a unique, affordable, and LGBTQ+ friendly venue. It was truly a dream come true.

Anodyne was the perfect venue for us!

Anodyne ended up being the perfect wedding venue for us. The rustic meets modern downtown coffee shop vibes were just what we were looking for. Let me tell you, this place is nice during the day, but at night this place comes alive with the string lights, moody mirrors, and classic radio wall. My husband and I took moments throughout the night to just around and admire the dreaminess of the venue. We received so many compliments about the bartenders and the venue coordinator Erica. The bartenders were super friendly and fast, and one of them even told us at the end of the night how much fun they had too! Erica was AMAZING to work with throughout the year and a half of planning. From the very first email to the last goodbye at the end of the wedding, she was the reason that everything ran so smoothly. We had multiple meetings with her leading up to the wedding, and she was helpful and accommodating every time. She told us that her goal was for us to enjoy our day and not sweat the small things, and that's exactly what she did! We held the ceremony and the reception there, and the transition after the ceremony was seamless and took less than ten minutes. Erica and her staff also set up all of our decor. We left the decor with her the day before the wedding, and when we walked up the stairs into Anodyne everything was set up the way we imagined it. No, better than we imagined! They went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend Anodyne if you're getting married in Milwaukee!

Fantastic experience!

We had our wedding at Anodyne in May 2024 and had an absolutely wonderful experience! Cozy Winter Wedding Venue

Anodyne was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. It had a cozy, casual feel and they were amazing to work with. Erica, the venue coordinator was a dream to work with and made all my wedding visions come to life! Couldn't recommend Anodyne more as a wedding venue, this is such a hidden gem and we got so many compliments on how cool the venue was!

Anodyne was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. It had a cozy, casual feel and they were amazing to work with. Erica, the venue coordinator was a dream to work with and made all my wedding visions come to life! Couldn't recommend Anodyne more as a wedding venue, this is such a hidden gem and we got so many compliments on how cool the venue was!

Very pretty and easy to work with

The Anodyne team was supper responsive and encouraging of all our our decisions. They led the way through the booking and planning process and made it extremely easy.

They provided some decor, so we didn't have to make/buy our own. We did bring a couple of things for set up, and they have an area where you can drop stuff off the morning of, and you can pick it up the next day. The team will also set things up for you.

All in all, it was great, and I would happily use the Anodyne venue again.

Amazing venue and team!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. a few weeks ago. From the moment we toured the venue, their event coordinator, Erica, made us feel so special and excited to work with them. The venue itself was everything we wanted. A cozy space that had natural charm. We didn’t need a ton of decorations to make our vision come true. As coffee lovers, the idea of having a full coffee bar and coffee favors at our wedding was a dream. Every staff member we encountered was wonderful and so helpful. Our guests were raving about the venue and everyone working. Erica is a major reason we chose Anodyne. She is organized and detail oriented, and kept us on track during every step of the planning process. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. On the day of the wedding, she and her staff helped our family and friends set up the whole venue. She made sure the whole day ran smoothly for us. She really went above and beyond when our caterer was late and not responding. Erica started calling restaurants and trying to quickly come up with a back up plan. She kept us in the loop, but never expected us to find alternatives. Luckily, the original caterer showed up and everything worked out well and Erica’s calm demeanor helped make a stressful situation more manageable. We highly recommend Anodyne for any event you may be planning!

Amazing Venue

I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a reception or ceremony/reception venue in Milwaukee! From beginning to end Erica and her team were great to work with. We had to reschedule our reception from 2022 to 2023 and there was no hassle or charge to do so. We got married Aug 2023 at Anodyne and it was nothing short of amazing. Erica (the venue coordinator) is absolutely amazing at her job. She was fast at communicating, detail oriented, organized, efficient, and super helpful the day of even playing our ceremony music and going above and beyond to make our day perfect. The most amazing experience!

We had the most amazing experience at Anodyne! Erica was so great to work with from the moment we booked the venue through the day of the wedding! We are an older couple with lots of kids and grandkids. Everyone felt comfortable. And welcomed in the space. The lighting was absolutely perfect. Erica went above and beyond to make this a seamless and beautiful evening for our families and for us.

Erica and her colleagues were so incredibly easy to work with. We wanted simple, cozy, elegance… This was perfect. The space was rustic and chic. We are an older couple with lots of kids and grandkids. Everyone felt comfortable. And welcomed in the space. The lighting was absolutely perfect. Great Wedding Venue

Wonderful!

Erica and The Anodyne Coffee Roasting Company are amazing! As a venue it is absolutely beautiful for a wedding, and it does not need a lot of decorations. Erica and the people at Anodyne helped us fulfill the vision we had in mind for our marriage ceremony and reception. We could not have been happier with both the elegant setting of Anodyne itself and the people who created a welcoming and intimate environment for our guests. Erica was on top of everything at a time when we felt on top of nothing! She was a masterful orchestrator over our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Beautiful venue, even better service

I wouldn't change a thing about our venue! We wanted to get married there because we had attended several concerts over the years, but the service that we got at Anodyne went above and beyond our expectations. Erica was so easy to work with the entire timeline- quick to respond, always easy-going and helpful, and always thinking ahead. She thought of every detail, which put this anxious bride at ease. When my mom toured the venue and met Erica two months before the wedding, she asked me, do you think every venue is this easy to work with? I think not! I wouldn't change a thing about our venue! We wanted to get married there because we had attended several concerts over the years, but the service that we got at Anodyne went above and beyond our expectations. Erica was so easy to work with the entire timeline- quick to respond, always easy-going and helpful, and always thinking ahead. She thought of every detail, which put this anxious bride at ease. When my mom toured the venue and met Erica two months before the wedding, she asked me, do you think every venue is this easy to work with? I think not! The Erica + anodyne combo is impossible to beat!

We had our wedding at Anodyne in April 2022, and it was beyond our expectations. We knew we liked the venue because we lived in Milwaukee and had been there before, and we loved the coffee (plus the opportunity to give out coffee as a wedding favor). What we didn't expect was the bonus of feeling so at ease because Erica, basically a built-in wedding magician, made the whole wedding process so easy. We used some of her vendor recommendations and loved them, and appreciated that she was willing to make suggestions throughout the planning process when we didn't know what we were doing! Erica answers emails and questions promptly and kindly, she checks in about important things like layout and event timing, and she is there during the whole wedding event with other excellent Anodyne staff. We wouldn't have changed a single thing about our wedding and feel very lucky to have had it at Anodyne.

Easy, breezy, beautiful

We had such a wonderful wedding experience at Anodyne! Erica was so helpful and easy going, she made the stress of wedding planning much more bearable. She was very organized and helpful throughout the whole process. She helped us get connected to our caterer as well! The evening went by so smoothly and was flexible with our needs to push our timeline back a little for the evening. The venue is absolutely beautiful and has always been my favorite coffee shop to get coffee at. We are so happy we were able to have our wedding there.

A Wonderful Winter Wedding

When my matron of honor first suggested that we check out Anodyne for our wedding venue, I thought to myself "there is no way I am getting married at a coffee house". I had a vision for a small, intimate, formal black-tie wedding. But when we walked in the door, we immediately fell in love with the brick detailing, wood tables and white lights. Erica was such a joy to work with and the entire staff was attentive to our needs all night. Our event was even more stunning than I could have imagined. I would highly recommend Anodyne to anyone!

Having our wedding at Anodyne was the absolute right choice. We rescheduled a total of 3 times and we knew we could count on Anodyne for their support along the way.

Best Wedding Ever Covid style

Erica at Anodyne is a god sent human. I’ve worked with her for 3 years!! We attempted to host our wedding at anodyne multiple time but due to cross-country job changes and covid 2021 ended up being our lucky year. Erica was honest, hopefully, and excited through our whole journey together. In our opinion, Erica will be a life long friend, and Anodyne will always have a special place in our heart. Anodyne’s venue is beautiful, vintage modern just screamed our style and the bartenders, all vendors, and decor were perfect for the location! Do not pass this place up! We love Anodyne and can’t praise Erica enough!
