We had the immense pleasure of having Rev. Annie, a long-standing friend of ours, as our wedding officiant, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional experience she provided. Annie is the genuine deal!
Back in 2020, we needed an officiant in the next day or two so that as a spouse of a French citizen, I could get into France when the borders were closed. We were engaged but decided to try to get married very last minute. Thanks to our good fortune, Annie was available the next day and even had a place in mind. It was a truly great experience. She was flexible, knowledgable, warm, caring... everything you'd want in an important day in your life and on such a short notice! ALSO four years later, as we get our French paperwork together for our daughter and our marriage, she so kindly helped us again. NYC Elopement
We hired Annie as our officiant for our NYC elopement in March 2024.
We travelled from Ireland to elope in NYC and had Annie officiate our sunrise elopement in Brooklyn.
The moment we met Annie she was so warm friendly and caring. Our ceremony was so beautiful and she made us feel so relaxed. Her beautiful words will stay with us forever. We could not have chosen a more perfect officiant.

Amazing Officiator and Fair Pricing!
My now wife and I recently eloped to NYC to get married. Due to the short-notice of our plans, we were initially planning on getting married at the Manhattan City Clerk’s Office. However, after consulting with our photographer Cynthia Chung, we decided we should instead plan on having our ceremony somewhere else like Central Park and we needed to find an officiate. Cynthia gave us a couple of recommendations including Rev. Annie. We checked out her website and decided that we’d like to move forward with her so we reached out via her website contact form. She offers several tiers of ceremony, and we decided that for our intents and purposes we would go with her Simple Ceremony option. She quickly emailed us back and we scheduled a video-call consultation. She was extremely warm, friendly, and helpful! We told her our thoughts and ideas and what type of ceremony we were looking to have. She gave really helpful insight and advice and answered a ton of questions we had, especially regarding the legal aspects of marriage such as how to apply for and receive a marriage license. She gave several good location options and we eventually decided upon either having the ceremony on our hotel suite’s private balcony (if it was large enough) or to have it in Central Park. She even helped us come up with a primary, secondary, and tertiary plan depending on how things ended up playing out such as the location, marriage license, etc. Due to the short-notice, she already had her mid-day timeslot reserved on our wedding day, so we decided upon her morning time slot.
Even choosing the second-to-cheapest offering, Annie sent us a form to fill out to further get an understanding of what we expected from the ceremony. With the Simple Service, however, you aren’t able to review the ceremony text beforehand. This was not an issue for us, and the ceremony was beautiful! On the day of the ceremony, Annie got there early to help walk us through how she was going to do the ceremony and work with me regarding the marriage license. The ceremony was very thoughtful and perfect for my wife and I. We will never forget our special day and the ceremony that Annie conducted for us. We would strongly recommend her to anyone needing a very experienced officiate, especially if you are also planning on eloping!

We were lucky enough to find Annies services on Google. Once we got in touch, she was so helpful, kind and informative from the very start. We were eloping from Dublin to NYC, hence, everything was a bit confusing for us. She guided us through the city clerk process and all the little hiccups in between. She was kind enough to give us suggestions of locations and suggest more. Due to the time we went to NYC Storm Nicole was causing quite an uproar with the weather, so Annie was flexible enough to let us decide 24h before the exact location.
We wanted the ceremony to be a surprise, as we had not read what we wrote about each other and yet the ceremony was just what we wished for. Our small group of guests could not stop raving about how incredible the ceremony was and just the whole energy about it.
I could not have picked anyone better, and if it wasn't for Annie, it would not have been the same.

Rev Annie was the officiant at our NYC elopement and we honestly couldn't have picked a better person. The BEST celebrant in all of NYC!
Annie was amazing every step of the way. We first booked we Annie after a lovely conversation with her in January of 2020 and 4 cancellations later we finally met her in NY in June 2022. Annie was so reassuring after our COVID induced postponements. She sent us a lovely message for original date. When we finally got to NY she was amazing. She arrived to the cop cot organised all our guest greeted my husband like a long lost friend. Our family came from Ireland and could not believe it was our first time meeting her in person. The ceremony was just perfect, it was personal, but funny and she just made it feel like us. Even the photographer was complementing Annie at the end. We would 1000% recommend Annie, she was just fantastic!

So happy we found Annie
We initially were going to have a family member be out officiant, however that feel through at the last minute. I reached out to Annie via her website as I saw she had the option of being the signer on the marriage license. This was perfect for us as we still wanted our family member to be a part of the wedding and 'lead the ceremony'. Annie came into our venue, said some beautiful words about love and marriage, signed the documents and then went on her way and we finished the ceremony. It couldn't have been more seamless. In the weeks and months leading up to our big day, Annie was very insightful and provided her expertise in helping us determine our vows, ceremonial procedures, among other things. My partner and I are having a small ceremony officiated by a friend at a future date, but we hired Annie to take care of our license signing. She met us for a small park vow exchange with our witnesses and walked us through the paperwork with complete ease. While it was mostly to take care of the legal aspect of things, Annie was anything but transactional. She is warm, personable, and made us feel special as we made our union official!

We cannot recommend Rev. Annie enough!
Getting married in the time of Covid is difficult — but choosing your officiant doesn't have to be. Rev. Annie helped us navigate the changing New York City guidelines with ease, so we were able to enjoy a beautiful Central Park wedding ceremony in early June 2021. Rev. Annie's attention to detail and thoughtful care made the whole process way less daunting than my husband and I could have ever imagined. Because Rev. Annie had walked us through everything beforehand (on Zoom and via email), my husband and I felt calm on the day of our wedding and were able to spend time enjoying with friends and family instead of worrying about the details.
Rev. Annie helped us create a personal, intimate ceremony that reflected my husband and I as a couple while still retaining many traditional elements. My husband wanted to incorporate several traditions from the Church of England (as many of his family members could not travel from the UK due to Covid restrictions) and Rev. Annie incorporated these elements while balancing my own wants for a more modern ceremony. In the end, we had a beautiful, personalized wedding ceremony that many of our guests complimented in the days and weeks afterwards. I don't think there was a dry eye in sight!
We truly cannot recommend Rev. Annie enough.

The next most said thing (after how great we looked) was how amazing Annie was.
Rev. Annie was sent to us from above. We opted for a zoom wedding and found it challenging to start the process. When we spoke with Rev. Annie, any worries we had disappeared. Her experience and knowledge of online weddings was immense and she knew exactly what needed to be done.
Her direction in the process was key in helping us figure out how to receive a wedding license through Project Cupid. She also provided a very thorough questionnaire to really understand us as a couple. Annie knew how to read the room and make an online wedding feel intimate and special. Our guests would immediately commented on how amazing Annie was and how her ceremony brought tears to their eyes. We were so happy with how everything turned out and will always remember Annie as a momentous part of our celebration.

We were looking for an officiant for our zoon wedding and was referred to Reverend Annie through a friend of a Wedding Planner who highly recommended her. From the very start Annie was very responsive to our inquiry and provided very full detailed information on the process and how she could help. We felt at ease immediately and never felt pressured into going with her (we spoke to a few officiants before her who were very salesy and pushy). Needless to say we went with the right choice. Annie was easy and warm personality showed the whole time through the ceremony and she was extremely helpful and patient when there were technical difficulties because of the zoom. She even followed up with us twice after things were done to make sure we knew where to file the Marriage License and if we had any additional questions. I will highly recommend her to anyone who needs a in-person officiant to their wedding ceremony or if they need someone who can just get the job done on a zoom ceremony (funny how it has come to this..).

My husband and I are so grateful that we had Reverend Annie as our wedding officiant! Annie is the ideal officiant!!! We found Annie for our Zoom wedding (signing licenses only ceremony). We wanted to make everything legal now until we can celebrate safely with more of our family and friends. Annie was perfect! She was responsive and flexible with scheduling. We ended up having to adjust the time and she was happy to accommodate. Even though it was signing only she took the time to make the event feel really special! She was prepared and flexible with the documents. She was able to accept pictures or pdfs using email or google photo. Her price was fair and she was flexible with payment types (we used venmo). She even offered to take screenshots for us with our witnesses and sent them later! I just don't think the experience could have been improved on in any way!

The Best Zoom Wedding
My partner found Annie in a Reddit thread and picked her out as the "one person giving kind and helpful responses" regarding Zoom weddings in NY. We were having trouble finding an officiant who knew the ins and outs of Project Cupid Zoom weddings and reached out to see if she was the answer. She was! She reached out the same day we messaged to touch base and discuss what we needed. Annie has performed over 200 zoom weddings since March and knows exactly how to guide couples and complete the ceremony according to Project Cupid guidelines. We opted for the shorter legal signing service and were pleasantly surprised to find that she still made it meaningful and special. Our witnesses want her to perform our actual wedding one day! My husband and I were one of many couples who's wedding was displaced by Covid-19. While our reception is indefinitely postponed, we searched for someone to officiate us in the meantime. Rev Annie came highly recommended to us by a friend who works in the wedding industry. We went into the zoom signing ceremony without much expectations but it turned out to be a very memorable one. It was meant to just be our parents and us on the call but his grandma told everyone! We ended up having quite a few on the line and Annie accommodated us nevertheless with warmth and graciousness. When we first reached out to Rev. Annie, we knew instantly that she's the one, professional, warm, genuine and I especially love the clean, beautiful website of hers completed with super clear instruction of all different types of Zoom Wedding. Although we only requested for a simple signing only Zoom wedding, it felt so personalized and meaningful when Rev. Annie mentioned a little about how me and my husband's journey. She made the witnesses ( guests ) feel so comfortable. She followed up quickly, with clear instructions, links and even attached screenshots of our Zoom Wedding. Thanks Rev. Zoom Wedding
I contacted Annie to do a license only Zoom wedding with my partner and a witness. She responded promptly and professionally and after a short phone call we were set up. She went above and beyond and made a somewhat unromantic situation special and romantic even though it was not required. I can only imagine what she would be like in a more traditional setting and with even more personalization. I highly recommend her as an officiant.

Interfaith Brilliance
Rev Annie was superb. What a kind individual with such a beautiful soul. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. We had an interfaith wedding and She was certainly instrumental in our perfect day. She was very organized and had many options to choose from so that we could compile our own wedding ceremony that fit our personalities. She made her readings very personalized to us by sharing intimate details about how me and my wife met, and other important facts about us. She did an excellent job officiating and i would recommend her to anyone! She certainly makes you feel worry free before and during your day.

Beautiful micro-wedding in central park
Of all the officiants I sent inquiries to Annie was the most responsive, and she provided very detailed information about her services, so it was very easy to understand what exactly we’re getting and how much it will cost. She pointed out some things we weren’t aware of at all, such as that we should get an apostille for our wedding license (we’re from Europe), and offered to take care of it for us, which was of big help.
Minimal time was required of us for preparation. Annie sent us a questionnaire we had to fill out (took us about an hour or two), and she managed to prepare a beautiful ceremony based just on that.
During the ceremony itself Annie was kind, comforting and very professional, which put us at ease immediately, despite being seriously nervous! The ceremony itself was beautiful, and Annie made all the formalities afterwards (signatures, finding a witness nearby) easy.
All in all, I can’t recommend Annie enough. Thank you for a wonderful experience Annie! :)

Perfect day
My wife and I were married by Annie in Central Park and we could not have imagined anyone better. She used all of the details we provided to make a beautiful, personal ceremony which, along with her charm and warmth struck the perfect note for our wishes. A wonderful, beautiful small wedding
Rev. Annie officiated our wedding two days ago. She was so amazing that I couldn’t wait to write this review. My new husband and I have been together as a couple for many years, but we decided to make it official with a small, home wedding. We communicated with Rev. Annie by email and phone and had a really good feeling, but were still concerned if the wedding would be lovely given the size of our NYC apartment. As soon as Rev. Annie entered the apartment, all concerns were gone. Her warmth and kindness filled the apartment. The service was wonderful, and her words were prefect. It was the lovely and beautiful wedding of our dreams.

An amazing experience
My husband and I were married by Annie at midtown loft and terrace in Manhattan in June 2019. We chose her based on reviews. When we met her and began to chat online we knew we had made the right choice, she was our rock all the way through the organising process and paid so much attention to detail that we knew we were in the best possible hands! As we were travelling from Wales UK to New York we had to organise our wedding via emails and phone calls, she made us so comfortable and reassured us all the way. During our ceremony she spent time with our friends and family and made everyone feel at ease. Her professionalism and nature were second to none. Her words were personal and meaningful and she guided us through the day and made us feel warm throughout, we have a friend for life in Annie and we are still in contact with her, sharing memories and looking to the future. We will be meeting her again on our next visit to the city! A beautiful person and the only choice for anyone seeking the perfect person to marry them. Thank you so much Annie!!

All jokes aside, I have nothing but positive things to share about Annie as the officiant for my wedding. She was very professional and personable. Her energy was very calming (which was much needed on a wedding day that can bring about nerves and stress). She did a good job briefing my partner and I, as well as our wedding party. There were no surprises we knew what to expect and when. She was also very open to feedback on how to tweak her speech to have it suit our personal style.
I honestly can’t thank her enough. She reminded me to stay present and soak in the moment and assured me that I have nothing to worry about. She would instruct me every step of the way during the ceremony. No need to overthink the small stuff. (Which I am very good at!)
Annie is the best of the best. Highly recommended!

Rev Annie was Amazing and Made Our Day
My wife and I travelled to New York for the 1st time from the UK. I decided to surprise her and renew our wedding vows and knew Central Park was the perfect location.
I contacted Rev Annie after researching and reading her excellent reviews she explained everything in detail and made suggestions to help me make my decision. She made the whole process easy and stress free.
On the day Annie was there to greet us and instantly made my wife and I comfortable and relaxed. The ceremony was perfect and exceeded the expectations I had. Her words were beautiful and felt like she had known us for years. Annie included my original vows as I had requested as well as lots of other nice touches.
Annie took photographs of my wife and I and also sent me the ceremony as a souvenir.
I couldn’t recommend Annie more highly and she made our trip to New York so special.

Annie is incredible!
Annie officiated my wedding this August at the boathouse in Central Park and she was incredible - to the point that it felt like we had known her for years. She is so personable and warm and will answer any questions you have leading up to the big day. Annie was referred to us and I am so glad she was. People after the ceremony even came up to me to tell me how captivating the ceremony was because of Annie and that she was like the little fairy godmother sprinkling fairy dust on the beautiful wedding.

Rev. Annie was AMAZING! Our other vendors thought she was a family friend because of how personal her ceremony was. She has such a warm personality, we felt like we knew her for years despite only having 1 introductory phone call with her and working over email leading up to the big day. On our intro. call, we could tell right away that she was the perfect match for us. Annie walked us through everything leading up to the event and as an added bonus, on our wedding day, right before our first look she spoke with us individually which my husband and I agreed was just the pep talk we needed to calm our nerves.

Best officiant ever! If you want a great wedding, book annie!
Where do I begin? My husband and I originally planned to be married at City Hall but my husband is his parents’ only child and it meant the world to them for us to at least have a little ceremony at a nice venue, so we did. When I say that it was the best decision ever, I mean it. Especially because Reverend Annie was such a wonderfully eloquent, sweet, genuine and just plain awesome officiant. She was professional and expedient with her responses to any questions that we had. Within the short notice that she had, Annie got to know us well enough to put together a well versed script. Reverend Annie REALLY set the tone for our wedding and people couldn’t stop coming to me and telling me. That made me feel great!!!!! Annie, thank you from the very bottom of my heart for such a beautiful day, I will recommend YOU 1000 times over.

Surprise Vow renewal central park
Rev.Annie is the most amazing officiant you could ask for. I wanted to surprise my husband of 20 years with a vow renewal at Wagner cove in central park.We live in the UK but this was not a problem as throughout the planning Annie was very responsive to my emails, she even recommended other services we could use on our special day like the New York city horse carriage rides the driver Karl was great at keeping my secret as well he gave us a very detailed tour of central park before dropping us of at Wagner cove. Annie created a very personalized ceremony from the information I had sent, it was heartwarming,funny and very meaningful. Thank you so much Annie for making our vow renewal so special.

Perfection!
After reading the "About Me" section of her website, we were hopeful that Rev. Annie would be a great choice to serve as our wedding officiant. She definitely sounded like so many of my closest friends based on her philosophy and interests!) To fit both our styles, my husband and I wanted a ceremony that would combine (his more) traditional and (my more) spiritual elements.
After a Facetime and in-person meeting, we both felt very comfortable with Rev. Annie would present our love story. Her in-depth questionnaire was a wonderful way to express ourselves and also think about our relationship in a new way. And sure enough, from that exercise grew a beautiful ceremony that friends and family alike agree captured the two of us beautifully.
Thanks in large part to her kindness and glowing presence, the whole evening was absolutely magical!

Rev. Annie is an amazing officiant! We communicated to her via email, she is very thorough as well as her questionnaire. Prior to walking down the aisle, she spoke to us about marriage and what it means to our lives. She gave us a very memorable ceremony and her words felt so sincere and true, it made us emotional. She has a calm tone in her voice and watching our wedding video, it really seem like she is narrating our love during the ceremony. Rev. Annie is excellent and we highly recommend her!

Rev. Annie made our day so special!
We had a small ceremony with just the two of us and Rev. Annie in Washington Square Park. She helped find us the perfect spot, set the tone to be full of love and light, and remembered and added meaningful bits from things that we had told her. Even though we did not know Rev. Warmth with a very personal service
We decided to elope to NYC from Northern Ireland in October 2018. Rev Annie officiated a beautiful, personal service for us in Central Park.
