My beloved Angie–where do I even begin? I had the opportunity to work with Angie on not one, but two weddings so I have the authority to say she is hands down the BEST HMU artist in the PNW (and possibly ever?). She did a wedding-turned elopement back in June of 2020 (after taking me on two weeks before the wedding when my other HMU bailed), and although divorce is terrible, it may have been worth it slightly to have an excuse to work together again.
Angie is a true master of her craft–an artist that uses you as her subject and your love/surroundings/theme as the muse. I had her do my rehearsal dinner and bridal makeup, and I loved how we played around with some looks, landing on what felt right in the moment–even when this wasn’t what we did during the trial. Angie will listen to what you think will look the best, but also is totally okay with you saying “I have no clue, just make me look hot.”, which is exactly what I did.
For my wedding day, the first look was outside in an active snow storm and I cried like a baby during the ceremony and somehow, my hair and makeup stayed perfect. I had many, many compliments on how beautiful I was from everyone to the staff at the venue to my Dad (who usually could not care less about these things).
Working with Angie feels like a big hug. She will make you feel at ease while simultaneously being quick and efficient. I’m scheming ways to work together with her again already! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Angie was amazing to work with! She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day! Even after taking photos in the rain, my hair and makeup still held up for the whole day. The absolute best! -

From the moment I met Angie I felt at ease. Traveling from out of state, without the opportunity to do a bridal hair & makeup trial, and meeting for the first time at 5 in the morning the day of the ceremony - I definitely could have been nervous. But she was more than capable of handling an elopement like mine. She has a talent for bringing out your personality and collaborates with you to achieve your vision rather than giving everyone the same look. Together we created two looks for separate days that exceeded my expectations, and I am a very picky person when it comes to aesthetics. I felt that I was in good hands from seeing her work, and was thoroughly impressed and happy with my hair and makeup for my wedding. 10/10. Thank you Angie!

Angie is amazing all around! She is incredibly talented, my hair and makeup looked better than I could have imaged and it lasted throughout the entire day of frolicking in the mountains for our elopement. I don’t wear much makeup so I was nervous and requested a natural look and she really knew how to accomplish that! She’s also such a joy to be around, we had a blast having her in our company. You’re missing out if Angie isn’t your artist on your big day! -

As someone who wears little-to-no makeup in daily life - but wanting to look a tiny bit more done up on my wedding day - I was anxious about being able to find someone who would be comfortable and confident doing a minimal look. Angie was recommended by my wedding planner, and she truly could not have been more perfect for me. It was clear that all she wanted was whatever I wanted - she listened, made some small suggestions, and made me look exactly like myself just with a little extra freshness.
Aside from the actual look on the day of, one of the most special things about Angie is her energy. She is calm, open, kind, patient, funny, and an absolute pleasure to be around! She spent 3 hours with my mom, my sister, and me on my wedding day, and when she was getting ready to leave I really didn't want her to! On important days there is so much anxiety and stress going around, and having someone who balances it and infuses pure positivity completely changes the experience in the best way.
I truly can't recommend Angie more!!! Book her now!! -

I wanted a somewhat natural yet glowy, soft glam that would photograph well for my adventure elopement and Angie EXCEEDED my expectations! She is so talented and truly cares about getting to know what’s important to her client. She gained my trust from the get-go. I would especially recommend her to any brides doing a hike or outdoor/adventure elopement; my makeup and hair lasted over 8 hours while being outside and in fairly strong winds. I didn’t have to touch up a thing throughout the entire day. Bonus is she’s such a genuine person and is so fun and easy to talk to while you’re getting ready! Angie perfectly created the look we wanted for our intimate elopement! She was super friendly and easy to talk with both during the planning process and day of. She asked all the right questions surrounding our hair and make up inspiration that let me know she was paying attention to our wants, needs, and concerns. From the very beginning, I knew she had everything handled!
As fun as it can be to get completely glammed up, it was important to me to still look like myself, and I also wanted our look to be cohesive with the very natural setting in which we got married. I wanted the makeup to enhance my natural features, and I wanted my hair to have a more casual feel that would hold up to mountain winds but while still looking intentional. And my husband just wanted some light touch ups to make sure his skin looked even and photo ready. She heard what we wanted and absolutely delivered! We both felt like a polished version of ourselves, and love how our photos look like “us.” Thank you! -

I just adore Angie. When she did the hair and makeup for a group of us at my sister's wedding, I immediately knew she would be the top choice for mine. Angie is confident, efficient, and just a joy to be around. I'm super pale, and she easily matched my skin tone and made sure I was absolutely glowing on my wedding day (and gave me some helpful makeup tips!). She even rearranged her time off so she could accommodate my wedding, which was incredibly generous of her. Angie is beyond incredible. I have naturally curly hair that is very fine, and I wanted to honor my curls on my wedding day. We eloped outdoors in the PNW summer (which can be finicky with weather!) and Angie was a DREAM. I did not do a trial run with her, so I met her on the morning of my wedding, and it could not have been better. Angie is so friendly and personable, putting me at ease every step of the way. She had been easy to communicate with leading up to the morning of the wedding as we planned hair and makeup styles and other logistics. I am also not a person that typically wears any kind of makeup, and being the incredible artist that she is, Angie worked magic on my face and enhanced all my best features while I still looked and felt like myself. My hair was in an updo, but my curls were the center of the style, and she worked in my hair accessories with ease. I was outdoors riding motorcycles, hiking, and eloping with my now husband for about 12 hours and my hair and makeup did not budge ONCE. The comfort and longevity of her styles was phenomenal. I adore Angie, she made me feel beautiful on my wedding day, and I would recommend her to any single person in the world. Thank you so much!!! -

Working with Angie was absolutely wonderful! She’s easy to talk to and was able to take my rough ideas and turn them into exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. Besides being very knowledgeable and clearly great at her work, she is a generous and kind human, so my time with her felt like hanging out with a friend. She gave me great recommendations at my trial day, and was open to feedback and changes for the wedding day itself. On the day of, she made me feel confident and stunning, as well as taking care of the other important people in my life. I look back at the pictures and am still in awe of her beautiful work. My husband and I did an elopement style micro-wedding and hired Angie to do hair and makeup for myself and our moms. As a makeup artist for an out of state elopement, she was the first vendor I met in person and she made me feel so comfortable right away. She was so knowledgeable about hair and makeup and fun to talk to while I got ready. My hair is super thick and fine and difficult to tame and she did SUCH a good job! I will tell you, I looked in the mirror at 9pm after being out in the rain and crazy weather all day and my makeup literally still looked fire. She is a wizard. I will forever give her 10 stars and recommend her to anyone :) -

I can't put into words how incredible Angie was for our wedding. Not only did she transform me and my wedding party into flawless human beings, she was SO kind and hospitable during my big day. She was flexible with coming to us for spray tans the night before and felt like one of our friends getting ready with us during the big day. She was professional and efficient but also made everyone feel at ease and I seriously wanted to invite her to the wedding afterwards. She listened to my requests the entire time leading up to the wedding and went above and beyond to reply to my messages asking about skincare prior to the day. And my final look. DAMN I did not know I could look that good. She brought out all my best features in the most perfect way and my hair was a fairytale look that I will forever be longing to recreate. The first time I almost cried that day was when I saw myself in the mirror. I can't sing Angie's praises enough and encourage whoever is reading this to BOOK HER NOW! -

My husband and I planned a small adventure wedding in a remote area. I had SUCH a hard time finding a HMUA I felt comfortable with, but Angie was an angel sent down from heaven that fell into my lap, and she is hands down the coolest, kindest, and most talented chick out there! You definitely want this girl by your side if you’re planning a wedding where you want your hair and makeup to LAST. 1000% if you’re eloping or doing any sort of adventure outside. To this day, I have no idea how I actually found Angie BUT I am so lucky I did! My biggest stress for my wedding was finding a make-up & hair artist that made me feel like myself - and she did just that and then some. Being an out of state bride, I appreciated her communication and flexibility. Not to mention, she taught me so much about my skin and helped me develop a better routine prior to the wedding. She is a genuine and honest person that I truly needed during my wedding journey. I gave her the most challenging line up (a friend that never wears make-up, a mom that worries about every detail, an indecisive bride, and a mom who was going through an emotional roller coaster) and she knocked every single one out of the park! Elegant Makeup
Angie was amazing from Day 1. We did engagement photos at a destination a few hours away from Angie’s studio. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t last for our sunset photos but my hair and makeup lasted all day! She really knew what colors would go well with my skin tone and what photographs well.
After seeing how my engagement photos turned out it was only obviously that I booked her for my wedding day. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we had to reschedule our wedding another year out. During this time, Angie moved to a different state. Angie was very communicative during this process and ensured her clients that she would be available to get a rehearsal done and be there for the wedding. Her reassurance and commitment took a lot of stress off of thinking I had to find another hair and makeup person.
During my rehearsal, I thought I wanted an up-do for the day of. As Angie was curling my hair, she played around with what I would look like if my hair was down before putting up my hair. We both looked at each other and ended up liking her suggestion so much more!
On our wedding day, her and her assistant were SO great. They were so fun to be around and honestly made getting ready on the day of unforgettable. We chatted it up the whole morning. I couldn’t recommend Angie more!

I came to Angie asking about her availability for one of my client's wedding dates, and although she couldn't personally take on the hair/makeup styling for that day, she went above and beyond trying to find a solution for my client. She took the time to reach out to her team and figure out a way to make sure my client still received professional hair and makeup services on her wedding day.
Though my client ended up going in a different direction, I was beyond impressed with Angie's professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility, and willingness to help. As a wedding planner, I'm constantly on the search for fellow vendors in the industry that exemplify all of these traits, and Angie carried them all out with grace.

Hiring Angie was without a doubt one of the best decisions I made during the wedding process. Not only is she fun, caring, and makes everyone around her feel comfortable, secure, and loved, but she is so incredibly talented. I once called her the magical unicorn of HMU. I am one of the most particular people, and (of course) that came out during the wedding process. I even did two bridal trials to make sure I knew what I wanted (I had a lot of anxiety on what look I wanted). Angie handled everything with love and she truly cares about her clients, helping them feel valued, beautiful, and making them look exactly as they have always dreamed. I got to the point of complete trust with Angie that by the time the weddings rolled around (we actually had two smaller celebrations due to COVID), Angie showed up, did my HMU and I honestly did not even direct her in the slightest in what to do. She just knows how to make her clients look flawless. Each time she created a look that made me feel flawless, natural (yet elevated), beautiful, elegant, and she is the curly hair and floral goddess!! I never thought I would be able to have such blind trust in someone...Angie made that possible. I was able to sit back, relax, and actually just enjoy my wedding celebrations without a care in the world. I could just trust she knew exactly what to do with absolutely no guidance. Anyone would be lucky to have her by their side throughout the entire wedding process. Don’t think twice, just book her. You won’t be disappointed. She is a true gem and such a talent! Plus she’ll make you laugh which is exactly what you need on your wedding day!
Ps- Angie’s makeup and hair will last all day. In the beach wind, up a mountain, in the snow, in the desert heat. You’ll look flawless literally until you go to bed that night. (Her hair will also last as long as you allow for it - no joke when I see Angie I have pretty hair for days!) -

I first heard about Angie through our wedding planner. She said, “when I get married, Angie is who I will have help with my hair and makeup”. After meeting Angie, I knew why. She is so sweet, caring, and knows how to bring out natural beautiful qualities. I got to spend more time with Angie than most brides probably do. Our destination wedding became more of a wedding weekend, and as someone who was already stressed and overwhelmed, I just wanted to feel pretty and not have to worry about getting ready each day. I am never someone that has worn a lot of makeup or known how to tame the mess of hair in my head, and I needed guidance. Angie saved me. She helped me to create three different “looks” for my rehearsal, welcome bbq and the big day. Each day I felt beautiful, natural, and at ease. Not only did she help me get ready, chatting about life and becoming fast friends, but she helped me create a personalized make-up kit for future day-to-day use and tips on easy ways to use it. Angie helped me feel confident and beautiful all weekend long. She was also great with my bridesmaids, one of whom has never had her hair styled due to worries about dealing with her textured curls; and another who, along with my mom, had never had their makeup done. Angie helped them all feel comfortable and beautiful and it was so much fun to watch them all be pampered! I highly recommend working with Angie for either a big day or a day-to-day makeup consultation! -

Not only is Angie an amazing hair/makeup artist - she's a fantastic person as well. I knew right away I had made the right choice when I went to meet Angie for the first time at my hair/makeup trial. She's a kind soul, has great energy and is basically a creative genius. She listens for your style, but for someone who is very indecisive like me, helps you create a look that will make you feel like a million bucks - especially what you want on your wedding day! Hire Angie! You won’t be disappointed I promise you! I will tell you, I’m not one that knows much about makeup/hair or one that even is good at making decisions. But from the second Angie and I met for my elopement trial, she made me feel beautiful. She understood my vision and helped bring it to life. And she even helped me feel comfortable enough to go outside my comfort zone to achieve a look I never thought I could pull off. Angie was a dream. I have wild curly hair which led to some significant stress when picking someone to do my hair and make up on wedding day. Not only was Angie gentle and patient with me when I explained what I wanted and what I didn't want, she *listened*. Even when she had suggestions, she always stopped to talk through them with me first and never pressured me to do things her way. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to her. She also did my mother's, the groom's mother, and 2 sisters all between 9 am and 1:30 pm on wedding day. Very efficient and beloved by everyone by the time she left. Thank you Angie! -

I hired Angie for my daughter and her bridal party which also included my wife and other daughter. The wedding day is a day replete with both excitement and stress for the bride. Angie absolutely put my daughter (who can be very particular) at ease and elevated an already beautiful women to a whole other level. On her wedding day she looked incredibly radiant and jaw dropping gorgeous. Not only did Angie help the bride feel special and stunning on her wedding day, she also made my wife and other daughter feel amazing as well.
