  Wonderful Elopement Wedding!

  My husband and I could not have asked for a better wedding day! The Andaz staff, especially Brenda, provided a wonderful experience that we will never forget. All of our guests could not stop talking about the scenic views, the delicious food, and the top notch service!

  Our wedding was magical

  We had a small outdoor wedding on the Albers Lawn at the Andaz. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We wanted to have a small guest list so we did the elopement package, which includes a bouquet, boutonniere, dinner, cocktail hour, and wedding cake as well as a night in one of the suites. We felt was a good value for the venue (and we also liked the turnkey experience). Even though we had less than 25 guests, we did end up booking a planner, which I recommend. (We went with Laki, who also did the flowers as part of the Andaz elopement package.) If you are coming in from out of town like I was, I would also recommend booking a night at the hotel before the ceremony so you have a place to get ready the day of.
  The staff at the Andaz was excellent, the food was delicious, and the setting was absolutely gorgeous, with the lights, the palm trees, and the sunset behind the mountain. I felt like I was in a dream. It was the best night of my life and my husband said the same! We would highly recommend getting married at the Andaz.

  Simply put...incredible. We're so happy we chose to host our wedding celebration at Andaz Scottsdale. The resort grounds, the bungalows, the event spaces...everything came together to create a truly one-of-a-kind magical wedding weekend, one we're sure to never forget.
  Albers lawn is where our ceremony, cocktail hour & reception was held, and it was beautiful. The staff was phenomenal, and the drinks & food (most important) were fantastic. Would recommend it through and through!!

  Top notch!

  We worked with George and the Andaz for almost 2 years, since our first date needed to be postponed. Throughout all our tough conversations, George was caring, professional and helpful. Even with the uncertainty, his conversations were crucial to make the right decisions for us. On top of it all, they were great in helping us tailor our experience and get the best value for the package that we chose. During the pandemic, George was literally doing EVERYTHING at the property, and was a one man resort team. Even with all of that, he and the Andaz staff were understanding, professional and unpretentious. If I saw George on the street he would get a giant hug from our entire family.

  Andaz Scottsdale wedding

  We had our wedding at Andaz Scottsdale and it was absolutely perfect! George worked with us for nearly a year planning our big day and he was there for us literally every step of the way. From the menu selection, to the floor plans, working with our vendor team and all the details in between, the Andaz staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding weekend was perfect. We chose Cholla Lawn for our ceremony/cocktail hour and had our dinner and dancing in Foundry Ballroom. Both looked absolutely beautiful! Plus, you can't beat that view of Camelback Mountain from Cholla Lawn!! We also rented out the retreat and had all of our close family and friends stay there for the weekend, which was one of our favorite memories - I would highly recommend! Thank you again to George, Michael, Sue and everyone else at Andaz that made our wedding day possibly.

  Perfect wedding venue for us!

  We cannot say enough about Andaz Scottsdale, Brenda Bernal and her team for our amazing wedding day and reception. I have been a loyal Hyatt member for years but I did not anticipate the level of professionalism, elegance, attention to detail and execution we experienced. I came out to walk down the aisle with my children and my initial reaction was, "this must be someone else's wedding?!" It looked like something out of a fairytale. (I was blown away but recovered quickly because I was one of the main participants in the wedding!) Brenda and her team were on it from the very first meeting until that last guest left. The food was to die for, the cake - personally and expertly designed by their resident pastry chef - was and has been the talk of many guests for over a month now. The accommodations and special attention were world-class. Any need we had, any extra thing we asked for was done with grace and promptness. I still daydream about my wedding day. Andaz Scottsdale will always be that special place for us. I highly recommend Brenda and the entire team at Andaz Scottsdale. The property is stunning and the entire staff is so expertly trained to ensure every little detail is covered. Thank you, Brenda, and to all who made our special day the most memorable!!

  Made us feel so special

  I can not say enough about how wonderful our experience with the Andaz was! From our first meeting and tour through the day after our wedding, they were responsive and professional. For our entire wedding weekend, there wasn’t a detail that was missed. They made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond. The setting is amazing and the photos are spectacular, but it is significantly enhanced by the staff!

  My dream wedding!!!

  I am so happy we found the Andaz for our wedding venue! When we saw it we immediately knew that we wanted all of our family and friends there together. The venue speaks for itself and is so gorgeous with views of Camelback. We had so many compliments from our guests. Working with the event coordinator George was also a pleasure as he checked on us frequently and was always willing to go out of his way to assist. He also dealt with my weird and random questions throughout the whole process. He helped with our wedding and events run so smoothly and I couldn’t recommend this venue more.
  We plan to celebrate our one year anniversary in Nov. there as it is now our favorite place in the world!
  And bonus - By choosing this venue we received Hyatt points from the hotel as well that resulted in us going to the Andaz in Costa Rica and had thee best time. The Andaz hotels are great and so unique

  A dream venue, resort & team!

  We are so grateful to have found Andaz, it was the perfect destination location for us to get married. We had a quick engagement of 6 months and in addition to planning from Minnesota, we knew we needed to find a venue with a team that was knowledgeable, accommodating, easy to talk to, etc. George was just that from day one. From our first conversation, we knew that we could trust him with our big day and we booked without seeing the grounds in person. This was after making 30+ phone calls to other venues as well. We did make two trips to the resort before our wedding our planning meetings always went great, we fell in love with the resort and the atmosphere- Andaz started to feel like home. My husband have very differing tastes when it comes to style and Andaz was able to pull off a casual yet classic elegance vibe perfectly. There was nothing more magical than having our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all outside. The space they provide you is not cramped whatsoever and every event was so close to walk to, yet separated enough to make you feel like you weren’t in the exact same space for the entire evening. We loved sharing the experience of the unique casitas, amazing food and incredible spa with our wedding guests. All of our family and friends raved about our wedding and reception and how well executed it was - which was entirely the Andaz team and our event planner (Laki Events). We are just coming up on our one year anniversary and we are going back to celebrate at our favorite place that holds such a special place in our heart, can’t wait to be back!

  Perfection!

  I had my wedding rehearsal dinner at Andaz Scottsdale and it was nothing short of amazing. From the friendly staff to the gorgeous outdoor ambiance overlooking Camelback Mountain, I left one happy bride! I couldn't recommend them more! Because of their great experience at this event, my brother has decide to now host his wedding at Andaz next Spring. Thank you George and Team!!!

  I am writing this review as a VERY happy recent bride. My husband and I were married on March 13, 2017 at the brand new Andaz Resort and Spa. And I am ecstatic to say that there is not one thing I would change about our decision to book Andaz for our wedding and reception… well, maybe one thing…. I wish we had found them sooner!
  
  My husband and I are both very detail-oriented individuals with high expectations, a predilection for making special requests, and a shared vision for what we wanted our wedding to be – and the Andaz team could not have done a better job making our dreams a reality.
  
  They did EVERYTHING you could imagine from designing us a gorgeous modern cake for our reception, to providing a beautiful dance floor free of charge, to letting us use whatever furniture they had on site (complimentary), to hanging bistro lights just for our day, to even sending someone to Nordstrom the day of because the Groom forgot his tuxedo pocket square. When asked, always replied, “Of course, we can make that happen.”
  
  While the entire Andaz staff was absolutely wonderful, I must highlight one person in particular: Meredith Morris. Meredith is the event coordinator for Andaz. She is also a guardian angel, fairy godmother, genie, and wonder woman.
  
  Meredith orchestrated everything to perfection (no surprise since she’s been in the wedding planning industry for years). She made sure that no corners were cut. She made certain that everything, down to the very last detail, was handled seamlessly (often without my involvement… which I am so grateful for!).
  
  Thank you so much Andaz for your outstanding service! The Andaz team made our wedding the most magical, seamless, stress-free day of our life. You know how people always say that something goes wrong on the wedding day?... Nothing went wrong on our wedding day! If you choose to have your wedding at Andaz, they will go out of their way to make your dreams a reality.

  Amazing venue

  The Andaz is the perfect wedding venue. From planning with George, to handling details of the room block, to doing the food and beverage tasting, everything was easy and organizing and painless. The venue speaks for itself because it is so beautiful. My guests had a great experience with the resort and enjoyed the wedding so much. I’d recommend anyone to have their wedding at the Andaz. It was picture perfect.

  The Andaz is the perfect wedding venue. From planning with George, to handling details of the room block, to doing the food and beverage tasting, everything was easy and organizing and painless.   My husband and I got married here in June 2018. One of the things we fell in love with was the amazing energy and vibe that we got when touring the resort. We initially worked with Jill, who was beyond accommodating and then towards the end of our planning we worked with George, who was equally amazing! You're treated like royalty there and your guests are as well. We had our ceremony at their Cholla Lawn with Camelback mountain as our backdrop and we had our reception at the Foundry Ballroom. The Foundry Ballroom is simply elegant, and one of the things I loved about the ballroom is that you don't need a lot of decor, the ballroom speaks for itself, especially with the beautiful and modern wood accents. Okay...now let's talk about the food and drinks! The food, cake and drinks are ALL AMAZING! The presentation of the food is like that of what you'd experience at a five start restaurant, definitely not your typical wedding food experience. Our guests couldn't stop ranting and raving about it!
  
  We also had a lot of out of town guests and we were able to secure an amazing group rate. Many of our friends couldn't stop talking about how amazing their rooms were and how impressed they were with the hospitality at Andaz. I recommend Andaz to anyone, for any event, or even if you just want to get away for a weekend, or simply grab some great drinks and have a tasty bite to eat. My husband and I enjoyed our wedding weekend so much that we're already thinking about when we can go back for a staycation! :)

  We are a couple from San Francisco, LA, and NY and chose to have our wedding in Scottsdale specifically for the Andaz. After visiting 23 different venues, we wanted a wedding that broke from the same ballroom, meat/ potatoes/ rubber chicken dinner, and a retreat where all 120+ of our out of town guests could escape. We also wanted a cosmopolitan level of service and an aesthete both modern and hip without losing a tasteful 5 star feel.
  The Andaz was that and more. Meredith Morris and staff at the presented an outstanding level of service that stood out from the rest. The moment we stepped on the property we were delighted by the craft cocktails, pistachio stuffed dates, world class menu at Weft & Warp, hospitable staff, and the charismatic aesthetic of modern cement floors mixed with vibrant hues and mid century modern furniture. Our guests loved the famous golf nearby and rented cabanas by the pool enjoying snow cones while waiting for our ceremony.
  Rare to find, Andaz offers an area with it's own House, pool, and casitas. We rented the sexy Girard House to host a private welcome party to a view of the sun setting over the Camelback Mountain. We did not need to use as many flowers and props some venues might require because they may lack the natural beauty of the property itself. The Cholla Lawn made for beautiful pictures with its symmetry and orange tree lines. Head chef Andy and team created a menu that was as delicious as it was beautifully presented in a family style setting around long farm tables (so many compliments from our guests!)
  Meredith worked tirelessly to ensure that every detail was accounted for- challenging given we were from out of town and the hotel had yet to be completed. On top of meeting our picky requests, she went above and beyond and even left personalized welcome notes & flip flops in each room. This high touch service did not go unnoticed and everyone enjoyed this venue so much we will be returning for future getaways!
  

  We are a couple from San Francisco, LA, and NY and chose to have our wedding in Scottsdale specifically for the Andaz. After visiting 23 different venues, we wanted a wedding that broke from the same ballroom, meat/ potatoes/ rubber chicken dinner, and a retreat where all 120+ of our out of town guests could escape. We also wanted a cosmopolitan level of service and an aesthete both modern and hip without losing a tasteful 5 star feel.

  Luxurious Desert Vibes, Amazing Food & Views

  We fell in love with the Andaz long before our wedding. Being able to hold our wedding day there made it all the more special to us! The Andaz truly has it all from the ambiance to the views, the amazing food and drink to the friendliest staff! Food & Drink - Having the food, cake, and bar services in house made for an easy experience for us as the couple, as we were already working to juggle so many other vendors. Any of our guests with allergies were well taken care of - even ones with extreme allergies, the Andaz staff took the time to find them and ensure they would have a meal they could enjoy. We loved the food and cake tasting experience! Talk about feeling like a VIP! Our guests are still calling raving about the food form our wedding! The Andaz was sweet enough to make sure we had apps to try once we sat down for dinner and even left us a little surprise back in our room for once the night was over! Rentals - there are many rentals (tables, linens, silverware, chairs, plates/dishes) that are included with the Andaz. Some we took advantage of, some we did not. It was nice to have these as options as we worked out the budget and planning/design for our wedding. Scenery - I mean, come on!!! Talk about feeling luxurious while still enjoying deserty atmosphere! No one nails it quite like the Andaz! We had beautiful sunset views of Cambelbak for our ceremony and reception. Again - another aspect of the Andaz that has left our guests speechless and talking about for days. Staff - Brenda was a joy to partner with. Her entire staff was so supportive and made up feel like King & Queen of the resort for the weekend! We cannot wait to come back to the Andaz to celebrate many future milestones as a couple! A bonus of the Andaz was the complimentary wedding night room and Hyatt points that we'll be using towards a future vacation!

  Andaz Elopement

  We had our elopement at the Andaz with 10 of our close family and friends. The team was so fantastic— responsive, professional, easy to work with. The backdrop is absolutely amazing and the food and drinks were delicious. Overall it was a beautiful experience and definitely a great value.

  Beautiful Fall Wedding

  Our wedding at the Andaz was beautiful! This venue is fantastic because it comes with amazing sites around the property and unbelievable photo opportunities. One thing that I found to be extra helpful was their choices for linens and menus that came with the wedding package. Our food was phenomenal and guests told us about it for months after. The views are so special, especially if you or your guests are not from Arizona, this property puts the desert on display. Lastly, the staff was over the top accommodating, especially the week and day of our wedding. We booked our wedding more than a year an d a half in advance and did not always get a quick answer months ahead of the date but did always get an answer. When it came to the month and weeks leading up to our wedding their events team, lead by George Romero was ALL over it. He did an amazing job answering every question and putting all of my worries to rest- at all hours and crazy amounts of phone calls and emails. Our wedding was spectacular and our guests raved about it after. Cannot recommend the Andaz for weddings or special events enough!

  Perfect wedding

  We had our wedding at Andaz on the Albers Lawn. It was the perfect space for an intimate (90 person) wedding. The moutain views, sunset, beautiful palm trees made for a fairytale wedding. Andaz and specifically Brenda was great to work with. We did go out of budget but they are transparent with pricing...it just adds up! We booked out the Retreat area so all of our guests were able to stay near one another. It was truly perfect and we are so grateful for Andaz!
