We recently held our wedding at the stunning Andaz Savannah, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue or a better event manager. From the moment we started planning, Jaime, the event manager, was an absolute dream to work with. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for our vision made our wedding day extraordinary.

Jaime exceeded all our expectations. She was always available to answer our questions, offer creative suggestions, and ensure that every detail was taken care of. Her calm demeanor and organizational skills put us at ease, knowing that we were in great hands.

The ceremony and reception spaces were beautifully arranged, and every aspect of the event went off without a hitch, thanks to Jaime's meticulous planning and execution. Our family is still raving about how beautiful everything was and how smoothly the day unfolded.

We are incredibly grateful to Jaime and the entire team at Andaz Savannah for making our wedding day so special. We planned our wedding from Michigan and it was not only the easiest experience, it was one of the most beautiful days of our lives. Jaime and the staff at The Andaz Savannah made us feel like VIPs with every interaction. My guests said it was amazing and the food was incredible. A month later and we are still hearing about the chicken and waffles!!! Highly recommend!

Jaime and the staff at the Andaz really made our weekend special. We had our main wedding event at the Railroad Museum, but our wedding block and our day-after cocktail reception were at the Andaz Savannah. We got nothing but compliments from our guests, and everything went quite smoothly from our perspective. They were very easy to work with, and I'd absolutely return to the Andaz in the future and recommend couples consider the Andaz for their future wedding activities.

We toured a number of venues in the Savannah area. Ultimately, we loved the outdoor space for the ceremony and the indoor reception area was spacious. Jaime was so easy to work with at the Andaz and the entire staff really made our wedding weekend so special. I would highly recommend using the Andaz for your wedding ceremony and reception.

We had our wedding here on Oct. 1, 2021. The venue was wonderful. They worked with me the entire time to make sure everything was just the way I wanted it. We had to postpone twice because of covid, and they were very accommodating. The food was amazing. All of my guests said that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Apparently you could cut the filet with a butter knife. The signature cocktails they made for us were delicious. I would reccommend them.

Michelle was absolutely amazing and easy to work with. I had wanted the ceremony to be outdoors but we got rain. I was able to make the decision the day of and actually,I loved the indoor space because of the lovely gold wall. I didn’t feel like I needed a lot of decorations because of this wall. I loved it. The only negatives were that I requested a gluten, dairy free dessert for one of my guests and was told it wouldn’t be an issue but my guest never received it, and I had to switch to another event director in the middle of my planning and it was very frustrating to communicate with her so I was glad to get Michelle back. (The other person no longer works there...)The food here is awesome! They were flexible and were able to make our experience as we needed it for our family and guests! I would definitely recommend! It was an amazing time!

Amazingggggg experience! I cannot say enough good things about the Andaz staff. They all went above and beyond for our wedding especially Michelle and Carlos! We had the wedding of our dreams because of them. They were affordable and you even get hyatt points so you end up getting a bunch of free hotel nights which paid for our honeymoon!! Do yourself a favor and book the Andaz right now if you are on the fence. I promise it will be perfect and you won't have to worry about a thing.

Andaz Savannah is a great venue that's sure to meet any needs and wants desired for your wedding and/or reception. My guest talked about how delicious the food was for days after our ceremony. The staff is very pleasant, flexible, and readily available to assist with any questions or concerns you may have. Andaz exceeded my expectations! I couldn't be more happier!

We had our wedding at the Andaz, and we had a fantastic experience! The wedding coordinator was very helpful and easy to get ahold of by email or phone. All of the set-up and clean up was taken care of for us. The food was amazing - so many of our guests told me they loved the food, and even now, months later, they STILL mention how awesome the food was whenever our wedding comes up! They were so careful and creative in dealing with our guests (unfortunately many) allergies and dietary restrictions - they worked with me to create both gluten-free and vegetarian options. You can't beat the location or the views from the rooftop terrace (where we had our cocktail hour). The location literally could not be better - it's right in the heart of downtown historic Savannah, so if your guests want to go out after your wedding, this is an excellent venue choice. The rooftop terrace where we held the cocktail hour was lovely. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

When we met Michelle Smith about our wedding, we were like folks who had a vague notion of wanting to paint a painting, but possessed no paint, canvases or brushes and didn't even really know what it was we wanted to paint!

Michelle changed all that.

She had a clear vision of how to help us, she was gentle when she needed to be and firm when it was required. She always had great ideas to problems and possessed excellent communication skills to help us all get on the same page. We'd have been fairly lost without her.

Michelle was so incredibly patient, kind and generous with her time. Her feedback was always so wonderful that we found ourselves really relying on it, so much so that she began to feel like part of the family.

We loved our wedding. The day turned out to be darn near perfect and Michelle was a big reason for that.

We simply can't recommend her enough.

If you need a wedding coordinator/planner your go to girl is Michelle Smith. I knew nothing about weddings so I needed someone who was knowledgeable to help me. She answered all my questions promptly. I took all her suggestions on vendors and my wedding came out perfectly! Working with her was more like working with a friend she's so down to earth, we got along so well! Everyone I told I was working with her always says OH SHE'S THE BEST! She's extremely organized so it made everything on my end so easy. She even gave me a gift on my wedding day which was so sweet :) THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH MICHELLE <3

The Andaz made my day happen!! My wedding happened the day after Hurricane Matthew ripped through Savannah and on the morning of the wedding we didn't have a venue anymore. Carlos at the Andaz Hotel immediately welcomed us and made everything happen within hours. Their caring spirit in such a difficult time made everything so easy and I am so happy that we were able to celebrate our marriage at this stunning hotel! The decor, the staff, the set up, the food, and the room was all so beautiful. The Andaz staff did a great job of making us feel happy and that this is the way our day was supposed to go! All of the staff and contacts at the Andaz Savannah that we worked with were top notch. They provided excellent service and were so personable greeting you every time they saw you. Our main contact Michelle was so professional, responsive and worked to ensure our expectations were met and even exceeded in some circumstances. The terrace was a beautiful space for our intimate wedding. The hotel location was ideal due to the number of shopping, nightlife and food options available.

Andaz did an absolute amazing job putting our brunch wedding together!! They were very helpful! The staff was kind, friendly and had a great since if humor!! We can't thank Andaz enough for everything that they have done to make our special day even more special!! Thank you, Abby! ??

The customer service at this hotel is exceptional and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I came to Savannah for our destination wedding and stayed at this hotel for several days. We did not plan to have our wedding there but encouraged all of our guests to stay there. Our guests raved about how nice the hotel was.
The day before our wedding, a tropical storm/hurricane was expected to hit Savannah causing us to have to change our outdoor venue to an inside one. Fortunately the Andaz ballroom was available and with the help of the management team and event management team (Michelle, Carlos, Jessie and Jane), we were able to move our wedding inside and make sure all our guests were safe and dry.
We definitely plan to visit Savannah again and will only stay at the Andaz.

We used the Andaz for our wedding accommodations and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Madeleine and Denise were very helpful in getting our block set up and maintained and when our wedding weekend rolled around everything was set and ready to go. The hotel and its rooms are absolutely beautiful and our suite was perfectly luxurious and spacious. There was plenty of room for myself and my bridesmaids to have our hair and makeup done there and the photographs turned out beautifully due to the gorgeous decor in the room. The location in downtown Savannah absolutely cannot be beat! We had a wonderful stay at the Andaz, and can't wait to come back and stay again!

Our wedding was awesome! Jamie was so helpful throughout the whole process, even though she started her new job there right before our date! The venue is perfect since we wanted it all indoors (thunderstorms in the summer afternoons). We had the Decker Studio for the ceremony room and the Grand Studio for the reception and it was the perfect amount of space for around 100 guests. Chef Lauren was AMAZING! Her food was incredible. People are still commenting about the food. Not only was it delicious, but she is a very nice and gracious person. You can tell she puts love into her cooking. Our cake was fantastic too!!! Overall, Jamie, Lauren, the other staff and everyone at the Andaz is helpful, sweet, patient, and kind. On the morning of the big day I was looking for mimosa ingredients for the girls getting ready, and Jamie showed up with a tray of the stuff. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful experience all the way around. HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING MARRIED HERE!!! As a side note, when we were looking for venues, the coordinator at the other Hyatt was an hour late for our meeting and we got the sense we'd be on our own through the planning/implementation of the wedding... not so at the Andaz. :-)

We had an incredible wedding at the Andaz, they really helped our day go off without a hitch! The venue is beautiful and the location is really hard to beat - right in the heart of downtown and indoors (something to consider if you're planning a wedding in Savannah, it rains a lot in the summer). We had the Decker Studio for the ceremony room and the Ballroom for the reception and it was more than enough space for our guests (we had almost 100). Chef Lauren ended up stepping in to be our day-of coordinator and did an incredible job, she really helped bring our vision for the wedding to life and the food she cooked for the reception was to die for! We did a modified buffet (4 stations with small plates) and our guests still are raving about the food! Overall, we are so happy we chose the Andaz for our wedding and can't say enough great things about them!

Tricia was a total lifesaver in planning my wedding. She was so nice and helpful with every aspect. I had my ceremony in Johnson Square, and then we walked to the Andaz for a cocktail hour and reception. Everything was perfect. All of there food is farm to table! The hors d'oeuvres were to die for, and the main meal was wonderful also. I must have emailed Tricia a hundred times with every little question that popped into my head, and she never got annoyed. She always responded quickly, and she was always so nice about everything. You can tell that she is a genuinely kind person. She coordinated everything perfectly. I cannot imagine anything having gone better! She will ease worries that could ever come up! Congrats on your baby, Tricia!

Actually, I held my daughter's bridal brunch at the Andaz. Tricia Beck, the catering manager, was wonderful! The food was delicious! We blocked rooms there for the wedding weekend, and Madeline Reinhardt, sales coordinator, was a joy to work with!

The Andaz Savannh provided amazing service. We hosted our ceremony and reception at the hotel and it was amazing! Ann Mashburn (Catering Manager) is great - she took care of everything - all I had to do was show up and be the bride :) The food was to die for - the chef worked with us personally to create a menu we knew our guests would be talking about for months to come.
The hotel staff was so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back for an anniversary trip!

The staff at the Avia went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and took care of everything for us. The hotel is gorgeous and not cookie-cutter.

I could not have been more pleased with everything about our reception at AVIA. Their customer service was impeccable, from the very first visit I had to tour the hotel to two weeks after the wedding when I was still calling to locate missing items - they could not have accommodated us better. The atmosphere, the food, the bar - everything was outstanding and I would recommend them to anyone, for any event.

Our wedding at Avia Hotel in Savannah was magical! Working with all of the staff was our pleasure. Our coordinator, Lisa Martello, was AMAZING! She was professional, efficient, and relaxed. She answered questions in a timely manner and was readily available on the big day. She did so much, from room reservations to helping with centerpiece ideas. There's no measure on how great she has been throughout the entire process and we are so grateful. Avia is very lucky to have her.

We were married on the hotel's terrace and had our dinner in the downstairs dining room. Both areas were set up beautifully. Our food was some of the best we (and our guests) have ever had! Chef Mark is extremely talented and also a pleasure to work with.

We would recommend Avia-Savannah to any couples looking for a romantic, low-stress, beautiful wedding.

The AVIA couldn't have been a better choice for our reception site. Lisa was wonderful in helping us plan everything and answer every first and last question I had even on the big day. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was amazing. They even accommodated us to a room the next morning for a family brunch. Very beautiful hotel and very wonderful people to work with.

When I first visited Avia Savannah I absolutely LOVED the style of the hotel. I found it new and trendy still with southern antique charm. From the lobby, to the pool, to the guest rooms, the place is spectacular. It's a very unique hotel.

I really hoped I would be able to make hotel reservations there, but little did I know I would soon be planning my destination wedding there a few short weeks after my first visit!

When I first looked into Avia, I thought there would be absolutely no way I could have my wedding there, since I was on a budget. I didn't want to rule it out though, so I pursued it thinking I could only pull it off in my dreams. My Mom and I met with Lisa (Director of Catering and Events). Lisa is absolutely amazing to work with. No matter what I wanted, she made sure to accommodate. Lisa is the reason I feel I was able to actually have my dream wedding in Savannah!! There was nothing I asked that she didn't somehow find a way to pull off for me!

She also was my wedding planner for my entire wedding and reception even though my wedding was at a different venue!(Forsyth Park). It was so wonderful to have a wedding planner because my wedding was a destination wedding. Without her, I never would have been able to do it! She helped me find all of my other vendors and was always available by phone or email for anything I needed!

We had a tasting with Chef Mark @ Avia who is also wonderful to work with. He will create anything you can dream up. The tasting included most ALL of their menu items too on a smaller scale! This was so great, because it gave me a chance to really figure out what I wanted with out having only one or two choices.

The hotel staff is amazing as well and will accommodate you with any requests. The rooms are exquisite, and it's so nice to stay there! My bridal party and I stayed in the Avia Studio Homes. They are connected to the hotel. They were so spacious and the perfect place to spend the weekend! Lisa actually even upgraded us to the penthouse suite!

There are two ballrooms at Avia. The Grand Parlor is the bigger of the two. The brand new Parlor Soleil is where I had my reception and it turned out beautiful. We ended up with Shrimp cocktail, Caesar Salad in a mini cheese basket, Chicken and Biscuits and a Potato Bar! It was FABULOUS!! Avia also provided our wedding cake which was so delicious and turned out perfectly!

We were able to do a bar by consumption which is the best way in my opinion! We were even able to pick which beverages we would like available and I was able to create a signature cocktail with Lisa and the bartender! :)

My wedding went flawlessly thanks to the staff at Avia and Lisa! They directed guests to catch the trolley to the ceremony, to the cocktail hour on the beautiful terrace & back down to the reception! It was so nice that everything was taken care of with out even having to think about it.

Avia & Lisa made my dream wedding into a reality. I honestly believe without this hotel I never would have gotten everything I had hoped for. They made everything come to life and the sky was the limit! When it comes to Savannah, they're the best!

My name is Stephanie and I got married on May 7th, 2011. For our wedding night, we decided that we wanted to stay somewhere very upscale in downtown Savannah. So, I chose AVIA. I have not known anyone who has stayed there, but to be quite honest the pictures on their website were quite inviting. When we arrived we were not dissapointed. All the employees were extremerly helpful and nice. The bed was HUGE and was not hard. There was a full kitchen (fridge, stove, etc.) and the bathroom was large and enjoyable. The shower was amazing and the entire room was as clean as a wistle. Everything was quiet and we slept great! Needless to say we enjoyed every minute of our stay!

I love the Avia! I am so glad that we picked it for our reception. The Avia is a new hotel off of the brand new Ellis Square. The event coordinator Lisa was amazing, and was incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding process. She was always easy to get ahold of and answered every question that I had. We met with her several months before the wedding and she gave us a tour, and walked us through how everything would work. We also came back to do a food tasting, which was a really fun experience. We arrived a few days before the wedding knowing that everything would be in good hands with Lisa in charge. They have a great banquet room that can fit up to 100 people, though we had around 60 and it seemed like a perfect number for the size of the space. They also had the terrace open for us to have our cocktail hour.

The food at the reception was some of the best that I have ever had. The chef there makes amazing crab cakes, as well as some amazing takes on southern food like miniature chicken and biscuits, and mini shrimp and grits. My guests raved about everything.

The decor of the hotel is very swanky and luxe, while still being comfortable. The rooms are the most amazing hotel rooms I have ever seen. We got the deluxe suite which had a full living room, two TVs, a huge and comfy king bed, and a shower and large claw foot tub.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly to all of our wedding guests, and were able to provide a block of rooms at a discounted rate. They have a great bar area where you can order drinks and small plates. They also have a $16 buffet breakfast every morning with a deluxe spread of made to order waffles, crepes, and omelets, as well as smoked salmon, eggs, bacon, breads, pastries, yogurt, fruit etc.

The location of the Avia is perfect for exploring downtown Savannah. It is close to some great restaurants, River Street, City Market, art museums and galleries, cafes, shops, and the beautiful squares. With the Avia as your home base you will be able to easily walk anywhere that you would want to go.

I would highly recommend it!

The Avia Hotel is truly a Gorgeous place to hold your ceremony and reception. Lisa (Event Manager) did an outstanding job! She and the staff were so friendly we really hated to leave. The ceremony was perfect and the reception was beautiful. They handled all the details perfectly. Our hat goes off to the Chef for an amazing menu that was truly a WOW factor!

Having my wedding reception at the Avia Savannah was the BEST decision i could have made. The staff was so helpful and very friendly. Lisa, the event manager, worked with my budget. Everything went perfectly. They knew exactly how to run the party. The food was AMAZING! i'm going back for every anniversary because i loved it so much. They even saved my wedding cake for me until i came back from my honeymoon! it was a great experience and its a beautiful venue!

If you are looking for a place to have your wedding in Savannah, AVIA is amazing. Lisa, the event manager, was so accomidating and made our day the best.

The Andaz so far has been amazing, we know we are going to have an amazing event with great food.

Lisa was very accommodating and flexible. Everyone complimented us on the class and atmosphere of the reception. All the servers and staff were pleasant and friendly. We were treated like royalty!

The food was absolutely amazing, Chef Lauren went above and beyond for us. Being that my husband is a chef the food was very important to us and typically at wedding receptions the food is mediocre but our guests are still raving about how delicious it was. The service overall at the entire hotel was top notch, we truly felt like a king and queen. From the second we checked in till the moment we checked out everyone was very accommodating. Of course our stay there would not have been the same without the help of the worlds best bartenders Jacob, and Scott. They truly make you feel so special and are so engaging with each guest as if you are the only one in the bar. A Special Thanks to Jane and Jamie for making things happen for us. I wish I could remember the Lady who took care of us during the wedding reception but she was amazing and so attentive to us. She was dedicated to taking care of the bride and groom and did the most wonderful job, We could not have asked for anything more for our wedding day. Thank you to the Andaz for the most memorable day of our lives.

I had my wedding in the terrace and Denise and Amanda were amazing
They worked with me and the coordinator to make my dream rooftop wedding a reality. Then you had Thad (Valet) have great suggestions and blended right in with my family. Desk agents Tracy(sp) and Carmen(sp) were very accommodating and helpful. Thanks so much and we will definitely be back.

Perfect location. Nice facility (great bar and restaurant!!). Professional staff. The prices are a bit on the high end and being corporate, they aren't allowed much leeway. Overall, it was a very good experience.

I had my rehearsal dinner here. The venue was nice but overall the experience was very underwhelming. We actually had two guests less than what was listed in the reservations and we're still not provided with enough seating. When asked if we could get more seating to accommodate all of our guests,they brought out two more chairs which was still not enough!! Mind you, we only had about 28 people there! The amount of food provided was also not enough to accommodate everyone. Finally, about two weeks after the wedding was over these people had the nerve to send me another invoice, stating that they had charged me the wrong amount of money and that I needed to pay them another $100. I was very very pleased with every other vendor I used in my wedding but these people were awful.

I will start this review off by saying that I did NOT have my wedding at the Andaz; however, I was extremely disappointed when I showed up from out of state for my appointment to meet with the event coordinator and see the event space. I was completely blown off and told that I never confirmed my appointment. I have the WeddingWire messages that prove my correspondence with the event coordinator. We confirmed a date and time to meet last weekend. Nobody put in any effort to resolve the issue and my fiance and I felt stupid. Out of the 5 venues that we toured, this was the only one who blew us off and never gave an apology about it. We stormed out because there was no way I was going to plan the biggest day of my life at a place that doesn't value my event or commit to their appointments. I even gave it a week before writing this review thinking that maybe I would be contacted with an apology. Never happened. Very disappointed. Long story short, make sure the venue that you pick values you and doesn't flake out on you.
