Wonderful!

Sharon was absolutely wonderful! She was attentive and thorough. She made sure the planning process was as effortless as possible. The wedding day was amazing and I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Sharon is a Professional wedding planner!

Sharon was really professional and she had lots of experiences so we could have a perfect wedding day even though we only met her online before the wedding day. We were planning from another country, but she tried to fit in our schedule even though we were 12 hours ahead. She recommended us some vendors and arranged appointments with them. It was very helpful.

Just want we needed...

We held our ceremony outdoors, in a space rented at a public park, and really needed someone to keep things in order on the day of the ceremony - make sure people are in the right places, on time, etc, etc. Sharon provided just that, kept everything in line, and helped ensure the day went off without problem!

Sharon was amazing!!!!

I was an extremely anxious bride. I have really bad anxiety without any wedding stress, so I knew I'd need help with wedding planning. From the get go, Sharon was so helpful and knowledgeable. I was having a hard time finding a venue due to wanting a liquor-free reception. Sharon pointed me in the direction of the perfect venue. Same with photographer. Ditto for most of my other vendors, with whom I was so pleased. If I had a question, she had a prompt answer. She helped me keep track of everything that needed to be done through the year leading up to my wedding. On my wedding day, EVERYTHING was completely smooth. If there were any issues from the time the ceremony started to the time the reception ended, she handled them quietly and efficiently because from my perspective as the bride, everything went off without a hitch. I was so worried, but I had no reason to, because I had Sharon. I am so grateful for all her help and cannot speak anything but positively about her and my experience.

Highly recommended!

My wife and I used Sharon's wedding planning services, An Affair to Remember, for our May 2019 wedding in Reading, PA.

Sharon was such an asset during the planning stages and helped in making some tricky decisions leading up to our wedding. With so many moving parts and things to think about, her assistance and support was extensive and much appreciated. Her communication was excellent and always timely. Nothing was delayed or became "past due" on the checklist, she kept on top of everything.

When the big day came, Sharon proved invaluable. She was able to keep track of the timeline precisely, coordinate with our vendors, supervise the setup and cleanup, not to mention the intangible things like managing our emotions and keeping people where they needed to be and when they needed to be there.

We genuinely appreciate her services and wouldn't like to think what the process would have been like without her. We would highly recommend her services to anyone in need!

AMAZING! Worry free! Excellent!

Sharon was amazing through the whole wedding process. She met with us multiple times throughout the planning process making sure we had thought of every detail and everything was in order. She set up a hotel block for our guests and when we noticed some of our guests had booked outside of our block because their triple A discount was a better price then our block Sharon took charge and told us not to worry and she would take care of it. That was an understatement Sharon called and got the hotel to agree to give everyone the discount and not let the numbers affect our block so we didn’t get charged extra. The day before the wedding Sharon also told us that if there were any issues or little hiccups to go straight to her and she would take care of it and our only job for that day was to enjoy each other and the day itself and she delivered!

Sharon was an absolutely unbelievable asset to have. My wife and I are from a different state but wanted to have our wedding in PA. Sharon got us in touch with everyone we needed and was always in our corner helping us along the way with timelines and what things we should have done by what time. I would definitely recommend using Sharon as your wedding planner if you are getting married in the area.

Having Sharon was such a relief. At the time I was in the process of changing jobs, buying a new home, renovating our new home and getting married. We were overwhelmed with everything and didn’t know where to turn. Thankfully, we found out about Sharon from one of our friends weddings and decided to utilized her services. From begin to end she was such a big help. She help recommend businesses who could help with everything from the flowers to venues and even our officiant. Many of which we would have never know about from anyone else. When meeting with the vendors she was very thorough and made sure they were giving us the best deal and make sure they met our expectations. We would meet with her on a regular basis to make sure we were on track and make sure we had everything taken care of. Then the day of the wedding came and it was like we didn’t need to think of anything. Her and her assistant would tell us exactly where we need to be, when we needed to be there and what to do. People talk about the wedding day being stressful and that is something I could say I never felt. The day went flawlessly and had many guest say that “ it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to” we had a great time and would recommend her services to any couple who is preparing to get married.

I was beyond grateful when my husband surprised me with a wedding planner (Sharon). With work and moving into a new home the both of us were busy and on top of that we were planning a wedding. During the last six months of wedding planning I had a handful of people keep asking are you stressing yet. My response would also be nope, not yet. I caught myself waiting for the day I would finally answer YES, I'm so stressed. I've heard stories of brides stressing out and I just thought that is part of the package of getting married. Well that stress never came and that is all thanks to Sharon. Sharon was worth every penny. From 2 years out to the big day Sharon was there every step of the way. The day of the wedding went so perfectly and I literally didn't have to worry about a thing. Sharon and her assistant went as far as making sure my husband and I were well hydrated during our 2 hour photo session. It felt so good knowing Sharon was there incase anything were to go wrong. I would recommend her for your big day if you want to have a worry free, stressful free, amazing day. My husband and I can not thank her enough for how "easy" she made our special day for us.

Sharon was absolutely incredible! She came to meet with us a handful of times before our wedding to make sure we had everything covered and that everything would run perfect for the special day. She covered every detail from small to large that we would need for our wedding. The day of our wedding I could truly sit back and enjoy the day. I knew there was nothing i had to worry about with Sharon and her amazing crew there. I am looking forward to staying in touch with her. If anyone needs a wedding planner you have to choose Sharon. We love her so much!!

I can't say thank you enough. It seemed like I didnt have a care in the world on my wedding day when it came to timing and vendors. I got to enjoy the whole day. She had the best recommendations as well and is so knowledgeable. Everyone we worked with was a dream and it was thanks to her! Sharon handled everything and I was so calm in the months and weeks leading into our big day. We were from out of state in CT and hardly had to make any trips to PA everything went off without a hitch despite her facing many many challenges from family dynamics, to the distance and more she handled each one with professionalism and grace. I have a chronic illness and keeping low stress levels for me is key. In the last year I had been seriously ill and she managed everything above and beyond my expectations. My wedding was a dream come true!!!!

My wife and I had an extremely positive experience with Sharon. After realizing we had a ton of details to iron out a few weeks before our wedding, we connected with Sharon for "Month Of" services, and we were extremely happy with the results. We had multiple phone conversations in which Sharon compiled all of our vendor information and then put together a comprehensive timeline, identifying a ton of small details that we hadn't even thought of. She was also a great liaison between our band and our caterer, both of whom had strong ideas about the timing and progression of the reception.

From making sure the ceremony proceeded perfectly, to details as small as ensuring the location of props for our first dance, Sharon ensured that everything went off without a hitch. We were also impressed by her commitment to ensuring a total lack of stress from our perspective-- she insisted that we did not have our phones so that we could fully immerse ourselves in the moment. I'd highly recommend Sharon: the peace of mind she provides on one of the most important days of your life cannot be overstated!

My son and his fiance planned their own wedding at our farm. They secured all the vendors well in advance, but did not have someone to tie everything together. They hired Sharon one month before the event and she stepped in and worked very hard to make sure the day came off without a hitch. She was extremely professional and everything down to the last detail was perfect! They were very pleased with everything she did to make sure their day was hassle free and more peaceful and fun for them than they ever expected.

First of all, I would like to say “Thank You Sharon for everything.” As my husband said, hiring An Affair To Remember By Sharon Dickinson was the best decision that we had ever made about our wedding. Thank you for all you did to help make our wedding day perfect. Because of you, everything went smoothly. Although she lives in Catasauqua and our wedding was in NJ but she still came there for us. She went NJ several times and assisted in everything and paid attention to every detail. For example, choosing a theme for the wedding and following is better than throwing ideas randomly here and there. She suggested good wedding related websites, suggested vendors and offered a lot of ideas and kept me on schedule. She is very organized and very detail oriented. Sharon is a good friend. She reminded me each and everything that I needed to do. Because of her, we didn’t need to worry about our wedding and everything went perfectly and smoothly. Sharon has genuine concern for all the couples getting married. She took us by our hands and guided us step-by-step. Because of her attention to detail and resourcefulness, our wedding went very well. We had no stress, zero worry. She planned everything for us several months ahead. All of my friends asked me how I was so calm before the wedding. I just smiled since I trusted Sharon. The wedding was absolute fun. Our wedding was in New Jersey and Sharon still came there for us. The best decision I made about my wedding is calling Sharon. You must get her too.

Sharon and her team are great to work with! They really helped make the planning process easier for us. Sharon made sure to ease vendor management and communication, itinerary coordination, and rehearsal implementation. Worth every penny! But perhaps the most valuable thing Sharon and her team brings is their ability to be personable, sincere, and supportive at all times. Whether dealing with vendors, or well-meaning family members, having someone ON your side AT your side really makes a difference as the big day draws near. Having Sharon to rely on really eases the pressure so you can enjoy and relish the once in a lifetime moments!!

Sharon was extremely helpful not just during the day but also during the entire planning process. One of the first things she did was look through our vendor contracts. She pointed out important details that I've overlooked. She listened to our issues and attended our final meetings with the venue. She was there for us when our 3rd venue coordinator decided to leave 2 months prior to our wedding. She immediately had a meeting setup with the owner right away to discuss a path forward. After meeting with the owner who was extremely grumpy and difficult, Sharon had secured a second assistant to help her to make sure our day went smooth.

We were faced with the horrible forecast of rain. Sharon had independently facilitated the rehearsal in our Plan B inside ceremony room. She walked everyone through the ceremony including where they would need to sit. She even advised what to do if there were complications. The day of the wedding, Sharon was ready bright and early at the ceremony site (anticipated to be inside due to the rain) and was there to witness the owner denying our use of the inside room due to fire code the morning of the wedding a half hour before we needed to decide. She immediately came to my room to give me the awful news and started contacting all of the vendors and letting them know. She had her assistant get umbrellas at the dollar store for our guests, made sure all of the chairs were wiped down, figured out where the DJ could put the speaker out of the rain so we could still have music and even worked it out with one of our guests that the bridal party could hide in their room to keep us in secret until the ceremony start time! Very highly recommend Sharon and her team!

Sharon was a great day-of wedding coordinator. She went above and beyond her duties by sending me quick reminders/things to consider as well as making phone calls when necessary. She really things of just about everything which can be extremely stressful when trying to manage your work and personal life as well as a wedding but it does pay off to be prepared in the long run. The day of the wedding went seamlessly and i did not have to worry about anything which is the most important part of having a wedding planner. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding planner.

Sharon is so professional, detailed and on task. And she does it all still making me feel distressed. We adore her. She's like my wedding conscience and rock of Gibralter. As a caterer, I really hope to work with her in the future. she has become so much more than a wedding planner to us.

Ultimate Wedding Planner

Hands down she is the best wedding planner/company out there. We worked with Sharon and I cannot rave enough about her. Her professionalism, attention to detail, work ethic, amazing personality, and how she dealt with all the vendors and my family was PERFECT. We felt in such great hands with her and because of her the wedding was AMAZING and PERFECT and more than I could have ever asked for. I am the mother of the bride.. when my daughter said she was getting a wedding planner I asked her "do you really think we need one? " Well the answer is absolutely..... Sharon was with us the whole time... from the wedding preparation, wedding rehearsal, to rehearsal dinner, at the hotel making sure we were running on time leaving for the church. And I have to add.. she and her assistance put up forty (40) pew decorations before everyone got to the church. Timing was perfect for the wedding, I even saw her getting the attention of the organist to start the wedding march music on time. After the ceremony we were still on her schedule of leaving the church, getting to the park for pictures and then to the reception hall all on time.. not to mention she took down all the pew decorations and brought all the bouquets of flowers from the church to the reception hall. She was at the reception hall before any of the guests making sure everything was just perfect and it was.....all they way to the end of the reception... If there was a hick up or a problem someplace along the way... we did not know about it. The wedding was beautiful, just the way I dreamed my daughter would have one.
It could not have gone any better thanks to Sharon........
