I used Amy's floral services for my wedding this past April, and let me tell you, she creates magic. She gave me what I wanted before I even knew that I wanted it. She did so so much with so so little and I appreciate all of the hard work and attention to detail she put in. My guests loved our florals, and I was surprised at how much they became one of my favorite details of the day! I adore Amy and highly recommend her. -

Absolutely Amazing!
I have so many good things to say about Amy and Amy Marie Events! We used Amy as both our wedding planner and wedding florist and she completely knocked it out of the park on both! We really could not have planned the wedding we did without her help and expertise. She made planning our wedding so easy and so fun! She is so kind and easy to work with and really understood our vision. When ever people would asked me if I was stressed wedding planning I would always tell them, "Nope! Amy makes it easy!". She has a fantastic eye for design and took everything we suggested and completely elevated it to a level that we couldn't have come close to if we'd tried to plan it ourselves. If you're planning a wedding, just put your trust in Amy and it will come out above and beyond what you could have ever hoped. Not only is she a fantastic planner but she is also a fantastic florist! Her florals took my breath away and are the first thing people mention to me when they talk about my wedding. The flowers she selected looked so fresh and the colors were so lovely. They were truly stunning and looked straight out of a fairy tale. We are so grateful for Amy and her AME team! -

Amy and her team were SO amazing. We chose to do a partial planning package (3 months up to wedding + day of) as well as florals with Amy. Although I had already booked the big things and done the groundwork for our wedding, Amy came in at 3 months until the wedding and was an absolute life saver. She helped to pull together the final details, some of which I probably would've forgotten or not thought of at all, as well as created the final design of everthing based on a few pictures and thoughts I gave her. She's so creative and great at providing solutions, and kept us excited the entire time. Even if we ran into an issue, rather than dwelling on it, she got right on it and figured out another (better) solution. She has such an eye for beautiful things and truly made everything more beautiful than I could've ever imagined. From the full set up the day of, keeping everything and everyone on schedule, keeping us happy and also dealing with issues I wasn't even aware of -- Amy and her team were the PERFECT choice. The flowers were such a priority for me and she exceeded my expectations BY FAR. To Amy and her team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts forever and ever! We couldn't have done any of it without you.

There’s no one better or as budget friendly
The florist for me was the hardest thing to find. I Love flowers and greenery and everything about them so I was a pretty particular about how I wanted my florals to look the day of my wedding. I looked for months sifting through recommendations from friends family google and even wedding expos meeting with tons of people and they all either were out of budget or weren’t seeming to understand what I was asking for. Amy Marie events was literally the answer to my prayers. She was AMAZING! Both in her delivery and professionalism but especially just in overall working with her. She’s cares about what you want and will do everything she can to make sure you get it. She was honestly the answer to my prayers and I’m so glad we found her. -

Amy is absolutely incredible, and totally came through for my last-minute elopement!! With less than A WEEK, she pulled together a beautiful elopement setting, with blankets and treats and incredible flower arrangements. Not only was everything stunning, Amy really went above and beyond to secure an gorgeous spot along the river for our teeny ceremony. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made! -

I had to postpone my wedding back in April, and Amy worked with me to make a beautiful bouquet for the quick elopement we did and continued to work with me when we held our big ceremony in October. I don’t know where to start! I booked Amy about two years before we got married. I enjoyed working with her the entire time and I knew I could completely trust her style and recommendations. Even my parents enjoyed and valued Amy’s opinions and advice. Amy always goes above and beyond, her creativity is breath taking and she works so hard to pay attention to details. I highly recommend booking Amy for your event, it even saved us money in the end because of the vendor discounting she gets. She was a blessing to all of us during a hard time while planning a wedding during COVID. Now, I consider Amy and her husband, Josh friends. We are so grateful for all the hard work she put into making our day special. -

We chose Amy because of a beautiful picture of her florals, she had done previously at our chosen venue! At the time, we had no idea what a special gift her and her team were to us! As the mother of the bride, a daughter's wedding can be quit stressful, not with Amy and her team! I knew she had everything under control the moment I met her. She was so sweet, caring, professional, knowledgeable and wonderful all at the same time! When we met with her, she focused on us as if we were the only client. She's calm but yet gets the job done on time and with gorgeous results. Amy Marie did all the florals for our daughter's wedding as well. Every time we came up with a dream she planned it and made it happen. Everything was absolutely gorgeous and we were so blessed to have Amy help us make such special memories! -

Meeting Amy with Amy Marie Events was an ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS! She served as both our floral designer and day-of coordinator for our wedding. I'm the girl who has dreamed about her wedding day since she was a little girl. I knew the exact theme, style, color palette, and atmosphere my husband and I dreamt of for our special day. The first day Amy and I met, I showed her my entire wedding Pinterest board and shared the vision of our day. Fast forward to October 26, 2019...my wedding was even more magical than all of the photos I showed her on Pinterest. It honestly felt like a FAIRYTALE. Every detail was absolutely PERFECT.
Amy is genuine, enthusiastic, caring, reliable, an incredible communicator and listener, organized, pays attention to detail, has the sweetest soul, and shines so bright. Her HEART OF GOLD is contagious.
Floral design was the most important aspect of planning for our wedding. It was the main element to making our ceremony and reception what it was. I hired Amy because she understands the impact flowers can make on an event, and I wanted flowers everywhere! She appreciated my vision and recognized the beauty in creating floral arrangements. You can definitely see the sparkle in her eyes when she talks flowers with you, and I loved this about her! I knew finding peonies during the fall season would be a challenge, but Amy worked her magic and our wedding was a PEONY WONDERLAND. I still get butterflies when I think about it! I CRIED REAL TEARS when Amy presented my bridal bouquet the morning of our wedding. It was one of the floral pieces I was most excited about. We designed it together, and it was even better than I imagined. She blew my Pinterest inspiration out of the water, and made all of my FLORAL DESIGN DREAMS COME TRUE.
Amy was extremely accommodating throughout the entire planning process. She always made herself available for ideas, questions, and recommendations. Her advice was very helpful. She was an incredible listener, mentor, and friend throughout the wedding planning process. She worked effortlessly to meet all of our expectations, and she treated our wedding day as if it was her own. During each planning meeting, Amy soaked in every idea and detail I disclosed with her, walking me through how we could achieve this idea, and how we could work it into our budget. There were a lot of moving parts that made our wedding day unique. She was completely on top of the schedule we created and made adjustments accordingly. Amy and her team remained organized, calm, and shared a smile with everyone they interacted with. They built a strong relationship with each of our vendors allowing each team we hired to work effortlessly and cohesively throughout the entirety of our day. She was a SHINING LIGHT on the best day of my life bringing myself, as well as my mom so much peace and comfort. She made a positive impact on my family and close friends.
Amy knew my faith was very important to me. Minutes before I walked down to aisle to marry my best friend in the whole wide world, she encouraged my bridal party, parents, and mother-in-law to PRAY OVER ME and our future marriage. This act of kindness truly meant the world to me. My family and friends continue to highlight this moment from our wedding day. Her prayer was emotional, genuine, and full of joy. Something I will never forget.
I'm holding back tears writing her review as Amy was truly an answer to my prayers. I am beyond blessed that Amy and her team entered my life when they did. She became a friend, and continues to be a role model. Amy, thank you for all you accomplished for us. Thank you for being YOU.

Amy and her team are beyond, BEYOND amazing! I wish I had the words to really get my happiness across...or could reach across the screen and shake whatever bride is looking for the perfect florist/event planner and say "GO WITH AMY!! IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY!"
I found out about Amy through a wedding show and immediately hit it off with her and knew she was the one that would make my wedding dreams come to life. She goes above and beyond during every step of the wedding planning process. Me being indecisive even had some changes last minute and Amy still crushed it and got it to become reality! I loved working with her and will do it again in the future whether it's for a business event, flowers, etc! She coordinated with my schedule, made everything seem and feel so effortless and easy, and ensured that all the other vendors were on top of their jobs too! I swear I still get compliments to this day about how our wedding was the best wedding my guests had ever attended. The VENDORS even had a great time --everyone (and I mean everyone) was dancing, laughing and smiling the entire night. It wouldn't have been possible without Amy, Josh and their team.
Seriously- so punctual, on time and on point with everything, creative beyond what I could ever imagine, sweet as can be and worth every single penny. -

Creative Garden Paradise
Amy Marie Events was able to make my wedding memorable by creating a unique garden for my ceremony. She used potted plants with multiple species of colors, textures and flowers to accentuate the outdoor ceremony site and then the banquet tables for the reception and dinner. She was even able to incorporate a special pink rose that grew in my grandmother's garden. Guests could then take living plants home as gifts. I got so many complements afterward on the unique and beautiful centerpieces. Amy Marie Events helped make it an unforgettable evening! -

It’s like wedding planning with your smartest, kindest friend!
Amy was spectacular. I knew she was the wedding planner for me right off the bat. She was flexible with what I wanted and worked around my crazy schedule. Her and her husband were amazing and generous with their time, and don’t even get me started on her inventory WHICH IS INCLUDED IN THE PLANNING! Need I say more. I will because I love Amy and I wish I was getting married again just so we could plan another floor plan, go through my endless mood boards and hold the most stunning bouquet of flowers I have ever seen. I am in live events so I only needed partial planning but added on flowers for literally everywhere. She even hung greenery and candles from the ceiling. Amy, her husband and team of coordinators are a dream team with energy that will keep you grounded throughout the entire process. Love her! -

The booking process was super easy and when she sent over the proposal I was in awe because she created exactly what I envisioned. When they arrived with the florals my jaw hit the floor, We got SO many compliments on how beautiful the arch was and the bouquets. If you’re thinking about booking .... GO FOR IT. We absolutely loved working with Amy! After interviewing a couple planners, I immediately wanted to work with Amy. My main priority was to hire someone I trusted and to take away all the stress day of. I got that and so, so much more! Amy became a friend and I am so happy she was a part of our wedding experience.
I decided on the partial package with Amy, and she created our florals. We live in DC, and we would set up FaceTime meetings which were so much better than phone calls! We would even FaceTime with my mom during some planning meetings to ensure we were all on the same page. I had pretty clear ideas of how I wanted things to look, and Amy took the ideas to the next level. I really wanted to create something different so there were no pictures we could just look at and copy. We would discuss, share inspiration ideas, and then Amy would send me these PERFECT vision boards of things I didn't even know existed. She is very creative and I enjoyed teaming with her on the overall aesthetic. She has a vision and a style!
I am also quite detail oriented, and Amy created trackers and spreadsheets to keep all the details in place.
While I did hire some vendors on my own, she helped me create a dream team of vendors and managed basic coordination and extremely tricky conversations with ease. Of course "something always goes wrong" on the wedding day, and it did, but I had zero clue. I stayed in pure wedding bliss the whole day thanks to Amy and her team - that is priceless!
Amy's team is so amazing! While she was setting everything up, Chris was with me and the wedding party all day, steaming, taking care of last minute stresses, keeping everyone on track and at ease. It was more than I expected.
Beyond the amazing services Amy and team provided, they are truly positive and good people. To have such a strong, talented, and good hearted person on your side during the crazy time of wedding planning & celebrations is a gift. Give yourself a gift and hire Amy!!

Everyone says something always goes wrong on your wedding day, so I was prepared for that to happen. Because of AME, this was not true for us!!! I can happily say that our wedding day was not only perfect, it was exactly as we had pictured it for years. Amy and her team took care of everything and it went off without a hitch, which is a crazy feat at the venue we chose (required the caterers and event staff to totally flip the ceremony space into the reception space during cocktail hour). Even with all that commotion we weren't stressed for even a second because we knew her team had it under control. On top of all this, they have an inventory of rentals you can use for free!! This was perfect because we wanted an arbor for the ceremony, and ended up using some other assorted decorations as well. I can't recommend AME enough, and I can't thank them enough for making our dreams come true.
I dont have all of our professional photos back yet, so I've attached some from family (hence the quality)
Last thing, I wasn't going to hire a planner, I had already "planned" the entire wedding and booked all of the vendors, etc. So I was reluctant to spend more money and hand over the reins to someone else (control freak much?), but I am SO HAPPY I hired a "month-of" coordinator. The week of your wedding is so crazy and busy, your family pulls you in 5000 directions, it was worth every penny to not have to worry about coordinating vendors and people and schedules. I had time to see all my family as they got into town, go get my nails done, and we even did all our own floral arrangements as a family a couple days before the wedding. -

I'm still in awe of Amy and her team. We hired Amy as our Month of Coordinator as well as our florist. Her florals are AMAZING. I'm still in awe of what she did with everything and all the flower arrangements she made. I loved my bouquet so much (I even dried it after the wedding!).
Amy recommend some wonderful vendors that we used for our event and she truly helped pull everything together and keep me organized. I really don't know what I would have done without her. She was always responsive and somehow made me feel like I was her only bride (even though I know for a fact I wasn't!).
I highly recommend her planning and floral services to everyone! Amy, Josh, and her whole staff are all kind, wonderful people. I am so thankful for everything they did for my husband and I throughout the wedding planning process and on our big day. -

Amazing coordinator & florist!
Amy created a beautiful stress free wedding day for me and my husband! Amy Marie Events did florals and coordinated my wedding! I came to her with a vision and she created it to the T, even better than I could have imagined! My flowers flowed together so well with the theme of my wedding. Even when my husband was running behind she orchestrated everything to keep to the timeline!! I wasn't stressed the entire day because I knew she was there! She created a beautiful ceremony and reception with custom made decorations! And even better she stayed within my budget!! The day couldn't have been better thanks to her and her team! Complete Visionary!
If you are looking for an event planner, and especially for a wedding, you need to hire Amy. Pure good fortune led me to her, and she was the central force in creating two beautiful weddings for my twin daughters, ten weeks apart. Without her I would have gone crazy. (not kidding)
She is kind and smart and a complete visionary- she takes your half baked ideas and makes them a beautiful reality. She is fast and knowledgeable with great contacts and great communication. She is a tremendously hard worker and respects your budget and your limits. She goes far beyond what I would ever have expected, and never blinks or stops or hesitates.
Mostly she has a wonderful smile and the sweetest spirit, so that you want to grab her right into your family. Bravo Amy ! You are in the right field! We love you.

Stunning florals and stress-free wedding planning
What stands out to me most about Amy is that she absolutely admires the work that she does! She puts her whole heart into every wedding and event. Putting your wedding planning into the hands of somebody else can be intimidating, but Amy never fails to see the vision of her clients and make it come to life!
Additionally, her floral arrangements are stunning! Her work adds a high end touch to any room. If you want someone who listens to your specific needs on your special day, Amy Marie Events is the way to go. -
