Absolutely beautiful photos!!

Amy is absolutely amazing!!! She photographed our engagement session, my bridal session as well as our wedding and I could not have been happier with the photos! She works extremely hard to make sure you are comfortable behind the lens and gives you all the posing tips to help you feel like a pro! She was so easy to work with and always so responsive with any questions I had. Her photography style is so light and dreamy and just how I wanted them to be! Amy is such a professional and her turn around time was so fast!! Photography is one of the most important things to think about when booking wedding vendors and if you book with Amy you will not regret it! She has such an eye for things and will make sure to capture all the details that you will want to look back on. She really knows what she is doing! I am so happy to have so many amazing photos to share with friends and family for years to come!

AMAZING photographer!!

Amy is wonderful and SO great to work with. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable on wedding day. She is extremely talented and I cannot recommend her enough for your photography needs!! She sent us a portfolio with so many beautiful photos and we got them back so quickly!! Her talent and eye for great photos are unmatched. So thankful she was able to be a huge part of our wedding day!!

The best decision!

During my wedding planning, the photographer was the most important vendor to me. Atthe end of the day, the pictures are all we have left! Amy exceeded my expectations of my wedding day pictures! Every single picture was perfect! Amy and Rob were so much fun to have and work with on our wedding day! I truly could have not asked for a better photographer!

Great Wedding Photography

Amy and Rob were great to work with on our wedding day! The photos turned out awesome and I got them back so quickly! They were also very flexible with me when we had to change our wedding date due to unforeseen circumstances.

Amazing pictures! Book her now!

If you want a professional who knows how to take amazing pictures, even when you're crying, Amy is the one for you. Her pictures are amazing! We've had nothing but rave reviews of, not only our wedding pictures, but our engagement pictures as well. She's easy to talk to and knows exactly how you need to act and look to get the perfect shot.

She'll guide you, but let you be you. Our pictures looked natural and not posed (which is exactly what we wanted). We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the products and the professionalism of both her and husband Rob.

She offers multiple packages, we went with *Eight hours of wedding day coverage - Second shooter - Custom Timeline Planning - Custom digital image gallery - Complimentary engagement session* and it was absolutely perfect. This package covered the getting ready, first looks, ceremony, reception, and farewell.

From the moment we booked her, we exchanged emails in order to plan the timeline for the engagement session. Our session was scheduled for what turned out to be the coldest day in January, but that didn't stop her from taking beautiful pictures with the perfect lighting. She was on time and ready to shoot, she was cognizant of the weather and made sure we were comfortable (and took breaks) without wasting time. She traveled to our wedding venue for the engagement session without any issues and even helped us pick out our clothes to make the pictures better. She was professional as can be, but very personable, we liked her right away.

On our wedding day, Amy and Rob showed up on time and started taking pictures of the bridal suite, groomsmen suite, rings, flowers, everything that you would want to remember that you wouldn't even think about. They captured beautiful moments with friends and family, some of which we didn't even know they were taking pictures of. These pictures turned out to be some of the most precious moments we have from that day.

When we signed the contract, we knew that Amy/Rob had a wonderful portfolio and were very skilled. What we didn't know, was how easy it would be to work with them on our wedding day. Our day was not only about us, we had family and friends that were also part of it. Even though our friends and family didn't know them at all, Amy and Rob are such genuine and caring people, that they liked them right away, which, in turn, made for much better (and authentic) pictures.

One of the many things that stood out to us was that, weeks before the wedding they asked us for a list of guest/family we wanted to take pictures with on that day. On our wedding day, they went through the list without missing a beat. They followed the list, which was very important to us, and even modified it to make sure that my grandparents didn't have to wait too long in the sun. They also allowed us to add more pictures to the list and even worked with us to go to the second floor of The Bradford to get a wide shot of our entire family.

On the wedding day, we were worried that our daughter (3 yrs old) was going to have a hard time posing for pictures and smiling without us constantly having to plead with her. Rob was AMAZING with her! He went above and beyond, even allowing her to look through his camera and actually take pictures. She was so enamored with him, that she sought him out for the rest of the evening. We got beautiful, smiley pictures of our daughter, thanks to his ability to interact with kids.

Rob and Amy are great people to work with, they're great with kids, and have a great sense of humor. We can't emphasize enough how extremely pleased we are with their work. Without a doubt, we would recommend them to anyone.

Perfectly captured our big day!

We hired Amy for our wedding last month, and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! We got our pictures back SUPER fast, before we even got home from our honeymoon. And they were all so beautiful. I really enjoyed working with Amy, she was very quick to respond to my emails and truly made me feel like a princess on my wedding day. She was very professional and personable and a joy to work with.

Amazing!

I can not say enough about Amy and Rob!! When i first met them i felt like I had known them for forever!! They are both so genuine, kind, and a pleasure to work with!! Amy is the sweetest and works with you every step of the way to make sure you get the exact photos you are looking for! She is always quick to respond and gets your photos back to you super fast(which what bride doesn’t love that?)!!! Amy shot our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding!! We were and still are in love with ALL of our photos!!!! Thank you to Amy and Rob for doing an Amazing job with our photos! We can not thank y’all enough! Amy Allen is pure fire. She is so much fun to work with and was on top of everything the entire wedding process, making sure I got every shot I wanted, as well as suggesting shots I didn't even think of. My engagement and my wedding pictures were absolutely phenomenal. People who looked at them after the fact said multiple times that they looked like they should be in a magazine. She and her husband are an awesome team and they both made us feel very confident that our wedding pictures were going to be everything we wanted. I have the most beautiful wedding pictures, I am so happy I found her.

Amy is AMAZING! She shot my bridals which turned out gorgeous and she and her husband shot our wedding! This duo is perfect for laid back, beautifully staged, and beautiful photography. Rob made all the groomsmen feel at ease and not uncomfortable with someone documenting their hanging out before the wedding. Amy is the sweetest and sooo good at what she does. I am so happy with choosing them to document our special day. I am so pleased to have these gorgeous photos to look at for the rest of our lives!

Amy and her husband Rob are simply THE BEST. I am SUPER picky about pictures and had a really hard time finding a photographer. Finally I found, Amy and it was like a breath of fresh air. Her and Rob were so sweet working with us. They took so much time making sure that we had everything we wanted documented and she went above and beyond creating a timeline for us. They were SUPER prepared and very professional – and of course fun too! We love them so much and are SO thankful for them. I recently got married on May 27, 2017 and hired Amy Allen and her husband Rob as my photographers. I'm not sure if it's possible to express how amazing she is. She made having your picture taken non-stressful and enjoyable. Michael (my husband) actually commented numerous times how relaxed and easy she made everything.
Amy, you are absolutely amazing at what you do and you produce the prettiest pictures I've ever seen, from your lighting to editing. Thank you for capturing our day so perfectly!

Jen was our main photographer and was amazing to work with! She was flexible as I went through my bridal craziness in trying to figure out a timeline for the day (even though I should have just gone with the first one she send me, but it was much better than anything I was thinking haha). Amie (our second shooter) was also great on the day of the wedding. They were very professional and you could tell they have great training and a lot of experience. Both of there calm natures helped keep me calm and relaxed even when things got crazy! Overall, Jen and Amie were amazing to work with and are definitely hughly recommended!

I could not be happier with our photographer! We selected Jen, an associate, to keep our cost down as much as possible. Our wedding was over 200 people and I tried my best to control costs in any way possible. About a week before our wedding I started thinking about how old my parents and one living grandparent is and really wanted to add a second shooter to capture as many moments as possible. I emailed Amy at 4 am and she was able to nail down a second shooter. I was beyond thrilled and so surprised she could do that so quickly. My parents paid a TON of money for the wedding so adding the last minute cost was not something I was willing to do unless Amy would bill me directly. She was so kind and understanding and let me pay for the second shooter myself. Now this may not sound like a big deal, but I tried this with several of our other vendors and they wouldn't allow it so I am very thankful Amy was so understanding and easy to work with. I also had emergency surgery about 3 weeks before the wedding, which meant I didn't have the stamina to do many of the traditional things we planned. There was no bouquet or garter toss, no cake cutting and very short dances with Dad and my husband. Our photographers took that all in stride and didn't make me feel guilty about it. Our pictures are gorgeous!!! There are just no words for how beautiful they are; they far surpassed my expectations. I can't wait until the Fall when we can get more pictures taken for Christmas Cards! I can't wait to be a repeat client!

Amy was simply amazing! She was so easy to work with from start to finish. She was very responsive in her emails - most times we had a response within the day. Our engagement pictures were downtown Raleigh and she had all the logistics - timing, lighting, color - it was perfect! She was right on time and ready to start when we arrived. Her turnaround time for the engagement pictures was so quick; we had them within the week!

Next was time for bridal portraits! I knew I wanted portraits, but really didn't have a vision for location. Amy had several recommendations and we ended up at the Raleigh Arboretum. Gorgeous - even in January! Amy had my bridal portaits back to me within the week! They were simply beautiful!!

A couple months out from the wedding, Amy sent us a proposed timeline for the day of pictures. It was super detailed, which I liked! On the day of the wedding, Amy & Rob were already at the venue when we arrived. They were great at making sure we had all the pictures we requested... and then many more! Again, Amy's turnaround time on editing pictures is just amazing! We had our pictures when we got back from our honeymoon (about a week after the wedding). We had friends get married 3 months before us and we got our wedding pictures back just 1 week after them - CRAZY! Then just a few weeks later, we got the cutest flash drive in the mail with all our pictures (over 800 for the wedding day)!

Amy & Rob are so sweet and so easy to work with. Amy has a great vision for photography! She was professional, accomodating and attentive throughout the whole process. We felt like we were her only couple! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the interactions with them throughout the wedding. You will not regret choosing Amy & Rob to photograph your special day!!! We look forward to using these two for many special occasions to come!

Amy Allen is an incredible photographer! She did our engagement pictures and our wedding. She captured every detail of the wedding to perfection. Amy was without a doubt more than we could have ever asked for in a Photographer. She was phenomenal from start to finish; both working with us on our engagement shoot (3 hours away) and ensuring every important moment from that day was captured. Her responsiveness was second too none and often times she got back in touch with us within an hour.

Our photos from the engagement session were ready within a couple of days and she had our wedding photos ready before we even returned from our Honeymoon (which she offered to wait on posting so that we could be first ones to see). She even sent us an amazing gift box with a cute USB key (with all of our photos on; over 800 photos from the wedding day alone).

When it comes to your photographs remember it is often times the most memorable object from the wedding you will have, and the one most often shared after the fact. If we had to do it all over again Amy would be the very first person we would call regardless of the cost. She was absolutely amazing to work with and truly an important part of marking our big day as amazing as it was.

Amy Allen Photography is the best photography out there! We decided to do the package in which we got Amy and her husband Rob and not only were they so wonderful to work with and made you feel so comfortable and natural, but the pictures were PERFECT, and captured every moment! As part of the package, we got the engagement session and we got to know Amy and instantly I knew she was an amazing photographer and an all-around kind person. On our wedding day, they were on time, professional, and captured every moment of our special day. She is such a natural and so great to work with. When we received our wedding photos very quickly after, we were in tears of happiness at how breathtaking and amazing they were. Amy Allen is amazing to work with and she is so incredibly talented! She captured color and lighting so beautifully in our engagement session, which is exactly what I was looking for. Her turn around time is quick and the photos turned out gorgeous - I'm no judge, but I swear a few of them could win awards or something!

My only regret? My fiancé and I are getting married in another state and I had already booked a wedding photographer prior to our engagement session. I wish I could go back in time and have met Amy first!

I cannot say enough great things about Amy and Rob and their team (Intern Amy!). The first time we met Amy, we knew we wanted her to photograph our wedding. She was beyond accommodating with rescheduling our engagement shoot a few times, and is extremely quick to respond to all of my questions! She literally made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with during the months leading up to our wedding! And their pictures are unbelievably, drop-dead gorgeous!! Amy and Rob are an amazing couple, we interviewed a few photographers and before our meeting with them was over we knew they were the photographers for us! They were open, genuine and accommodating with our needs, family and budget. Amy checked in many times before the wedding and helped calm any nerves about the big day! I was amazed how beautiful our engagement photos turned out, Amy allowed us to laugh and be ourselves, the lighting and locations were perfect for our urban shoot. Our wedding was a breeze, she was able to capture so many stunning pictures of family, bridesmaids, groomsmen and the most special moments my husband and I shared. If I could make a suggestion to future brides, I would spend a little extra money for a second shooter as well as extra time during cocktail hour to get more photos. You would be surprised how quickly that time goes and nobody likes to rush! With all that being said, Amy has such a fun spirit and a beautiful light about her, she has a way of putting your mind at ease and making everyone feel comfortable and beautiful!

Amazing photos, worth every penny. It is easy to see Amy and Rob are genuinely focused on every single detail from how my hair fell in the photo, how we looked in that particular light, how our outfits looked in the engagement photos and how my dress fell in the wedding photos. We were beyond impressed. Amy's passion is so obvious, she is just as excited as you to capture that perfect shot. She will not stop until she and you, are happy with the shot. Not to mention she is sweet as pie! I not only found the perfect wedding photographer, I now have a photographer for life because I refuse to pay anyone else to take my photo!

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Amy Allen and her husband Rob. We decided to work with the very best since it's essential to have lasting images to remember the milestone of a lifetime. After shooting weddings for our other friends on their wedding day we knew we were in good hands. We were blown away by our engagement pictures she took six months prior. I really cannot say enough positive things about Amy Allen Photography. My husband and I met with Amy and Rob one evening and immediately fell in love with these two. We didn't even have to meet any other photographers, we knew we wanted them to capture our engagement and wedding day pics. I think it was the combination of the quality of the pictures they took and the quality of service and attentiveness they provided, as well as their awesome, sweet personalities that made them the perfect photographers for our wedding. Their pictures speak for themselves, and the blog they created with our photos (that they have for each one of their couples!) made us feel super special. They were quick in sending us our finished pictures after both the engagement session and our wedding day.
I will definitely contact them again if I end up deciding to do a maternity shoot and then a new born session for my son!

I knew Amy was going to be amazing from the first time I met her! She and Rob shot both our engagement session and wedding photos and we couldn't be happier with the results!!!! She is very punctual, professional and she and Rob really make you feel comfortable in front of the camera! She makes the process so personable and will respond to emails/texts right away! By the time we were back from the honeymoon we had the pictures! I highly recommend this sweet and talented photographer to everyone! We are so grateful to have these beautiful memories captured:)

Amy did an amazing job capturing special moments at our wedding. She made sure to get specific pictures that I had requested but got so many beautiful pictures of our families and lots of fun pictures of our friends having a good time. She also captured all the details of the reception so I'll always have that memory. She was easy and sweet to work with. I could contact her via email or text and have a response usually within hours, never more than a day turn around. She produced the pictures in about a week turn around so I could see them right away. We also had a second photographer who worked so well with Amy, their professionalism and comparability of working together was seamless. I give the highest recommendation of Amy and her staff. We loved the whole experience and hope to use her again in the future!

We used Amy Allen Photography for both our engagement and wedding photography. We couldn't be more pleased with our photos. When we had just gotten engaged, I did tons of research to find the best photographer that met just what i wanted. I found Amy and loved her work! Even though she was in Cary, NC, she drove all the way to Greensboro just for our wedding day. We also got to shoot our engagement pictures at the beach, and I'm so in love with them. She made us feel so comfortable and effortless in front of the camera. I love that she is big into detail shots. I got to see things that I overlooked on my wedding day because I was so busy. Amy was awesome. She captured our special day in a very special way. We hardly knew she was there snapping the most beautiful photos of our wedding. We are not the "typical" young first time married couple so our wedding was especially difficult for her due to the mix of families and extended families. I must say her photo's of everyone brought out the best in everyone and made out day special. Amy spent time with us interviewing us ahead of time and making sure she had a list of photo's we especially wanted.

I found Amy Allen Photography through the Wedding Wire website. After looking through several photographers' websites, I chose Amy Allen Photography due to the sweet, down-to-earth, personal feeling I got looking through her site as well as the quality of her photographs. Amy and her husband Rob work together as a husband and wife team to capture every moment. They photographed both our engagement session (which I LOVED!) and our wedding (which I can't wait to see!). They are very professional, but also make a point to get to know their clients and develop a relationship with them. I felt as if I could text or email Amy any time to ask questions. Amy has a Facebook page for her brides and takes her brides out sometime during the year for a fun get-together. It was great having both Amy and Rob because Amy was with me and the girls before the wedding and Rob was with the guys. This helped save time, getting the detail shots and some of the wedding party shots prior to the ceremony. I love their use of natural light in their photographs. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Amy and Rob, and highly recommend Amy Allen photography!

I could not be happier with my service with Amy Allen Photography! Amy and Rob are both so wonderful to work with. I was a little nervous about taking pictures because sometimes standing in front of a camera can be awkward but not with Amy! Amy and Rob made taking pictures so much fun with their energy and creatively. From our engagement pictures, my bridal portraits, our wedding and reception there was not a moment that was not captured with a beautiful picture. Amy is so quick to respond my all my million questions and I received "sneak peaks" of our pictures the very next day! Amy was amazing from the start. Finding a photographer, for me, was one of the biggest decisions I had to make for my wedding. I looked through so many different photographers in the Raleigh area, and was really captivated by the way Amy was able to reflect such softness, intimacy, and 'in the moment' shots in some of her previous works.

When we booked our first meeting with Amy she made the entire process so easy. Very personable, and very professional (this goes for Rob too!). From there, we went to engagement shots and onto the wedding, and it was truly a seamless process!

I received my wedding pictures way earlier then I expected! and then I saw them, wow! Both my husband and I loved how they turned out! I have received so much positive feedback from friends and family I have shared these with. I was beyond satisfied with the services and quality received from Amy. I will certainly recommend her to friends in the future, and if you haven't already, I highly suggest giving this chic a look!

Amy was fantastic! My wife and I hired her to photograph our wedding, which also includes an engagement photo session. She was very flexible and willing to work with our schedules. I don't know if I can put into words how please I am with my wedding pictures and the whole experience provided by Amy. From the start, she was always responsive to my silly emails and was patient. Amy provided guidance and help when I asked. I loved sitting down with her during the planning process. We talked about poses and pictures and she helped me visualize the whole night. On the day, Amy came with her husband and got right to work. She made all my girls feel comfortable and was able to direct those who needed. The final product on our pictures are timeless. Amy did a wonderful job on our wedding photos! Despite the day being cloudy, cold, and rainy ALL of our photos turned out absolutely beautiful!!! From the detail shots of my perfume and jewelry to the fun wedding party photos and ceremony and reception photos, it was so hard to decide which ones we liked best. We also paid for a second shooter, her husband Rob, and I would highly recommend doing that - he took some additional shots that turned out to be some of our favorites as well. Amy did a great job of taking all the shots we were looking for, especially with our family photos. She is so sweet and talented - I will recommend her to all of my friends and family :)

I could not have asked for a more talented and gifted photographer. One who completely understood my dream wedding, who shared in our love story and who made that story shine perfectly on all our wedding photos. Our engagement photos were better than I ever imagined. Amy was amazing to work with and the photo's we received were beyond expectation. What we were most impressed with is how Amy captured the true feeling of the entire day through her photo's!

She was also very "personal" with our daughter (the bride) and her husband prior to the wedding. I believe that also helped in her capturing the spirit of the wedding and the reception.

Amy didn't miss anything! We are working on a photo book now and it is truly going to tell the story of our daughter's special day for life!

Amy was incredible to work with! The wedding package we selected included both an engagement session as well as the full wedding day and the creativity she used in both settings made all of our pictures turn out beautifully. Our pictures included outdoor, sunset, intimate shots, sparklers at night, black and whites, and Amy was versatile enough to have all the right lenses on hand to make every shot perfect. She even captured the emotion of the events with all the candids and behind-the-scenes photos of friends and families that we can now look back on and appreciate how much fun everyone had. Also, I am not very good at Facebook, but Amy took care of that too. She posted/tagged photos quickly and also created and posted a blog of our event for us.

I would highly recommend Amy because she loves Love and she uses that passion for her work to capture people in love, with tenderness and with joy, with her camera.

Amy Allen was the photographer at my wedding and was absolutely amazing. She was very professional and her photography was more than I expected, her motion shots were incredible and the still shots were beautiful, I wouldn't change my decision on hiring her for anything!

Amy was a WONDERFUL photographer. She was very flexible and accommodating. Early on in the process I had set up a pinterest board with the types of shots I liked and then forgot about it with all the details I was focused on as the wedding approached. On the wedding day, Amy remembered them and got them set up without me having to ask or worry about anything. I was so grateful that she had thought about setting those up so I could have them and it took worry off of me. The speed of her editing and receiving the photos was excellent and easy to share on facebook, etc. I can't stop getting compliments on the photos and other guests and friends will be using her for their events. Highly recommended!

Amy is an amazing photographer and is very affordable. She did my engagement session and my wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. She is great at capturing special moments to create memories that last a lifetime. She is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a photographer. Amy was absolutely fantastic. She went with the flow and had great ideas, insight, and a calming presence. Looking at some of the pictures I didn't even realize she was around at some points. She blended in to capture some wonderful and special moments on my big day. She has been very professional and friendly from the time I first talked to her. We had our pictures waiting for us when we got back from our honeymoon. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer or experience. We made the best choice in choosing Amy Allen to be the photographer for our wedding. Amy is quick with communication, very flexible, and fun to work with. We met for the first time on my wedding day and she was so easy to get along with. She and her husband took great photos while mingling with our guests. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our wedding was perfect and I'm so happy Amy was there to capture it all!

Amy is amazing! We were very excited to book our sessions with her! We had her do our engagement photos, my bridal portraits, and our wedding photos. All of which were stunning! She also did my sister's wedding photos last April -- which were nothing short of amazing as well!

Not only is Amy super sweet, she is great at what she does! She loves photography and it shows. She is very talented/creative and knows how to capture everyone just perfectly! Amy is very personable, making it easy for everyone to be comfortable around her and an absolute joy to work with!! She was very quick at answering any questions we had and at getting our photos to us after every session. Never any disappointments with Amy!

We feel like Amy is a new friend, and we will use her for all of our photography needs in the future!! Best photographer hands down! We highly recommend Amy to anyone in need of a photographer!!

Amy is amazing. She took our engagement photos and our wedding day pictures and every single guest and others who did not even attend commented on how beautiful the pictures were.
She was friendly, professional, helpful and always punctual. Her rates were awesome and we felt so fortunate to find her. I would recommend her to any bride. Don't waste your precious money when you can get very high quality photos for a resonable price from Amy.

Amy did my boudoir photo shoot. She is amazing! I'm a shy person (when it comes to being scantily clad in front of people) but she made me feel comfortable and beautiful. The pictures turned out great and my husband LOVED them. This girl is really good at her job and passionate about making her clients happy. You won't be disappointed if you hire her!

Amy Allen did a fanstastic job at our wedding on 4.5.13. The entire day and night she remained extremely professional & attentive. Throughout the whole engagement, she was always available via email and phone when I needed her. Not only did we use her for our wedding; but she did our engagement shoot as well back in Oct. which also came out great! I plan on using Amy Allen again in the future when need be.

Amy was very flexible with my timeline and available on a short notice. She captured all the photos that I wanted and many more. She also mailed my pictures to me very expediently after the wedding. Amy is wonderful. She loves what she does and it shows! Amy has done my engagement photos, bridal photos, and wedding. She is very affordable and professional. You will not find a better photographer! She is very quick to get your pictures to you after she takes them. She is also very flexible, and will find a way to get a time that works for you. If you email her she will get back to you asap. When ever I had a question she was quick to answer back. The pictures she takes are amazing, I believe she knows how to capture the best side to everyone. She has wonderful talent and skill. My husband and I were very comforatable around her. We even got her on the dance floor at our wedding! We truly feel like we have made a new friend, and will be using her services in the future. I recommend Amy to anyone in need of a photographer.

Amy is a wonderful photographer; we couldn't be happier with how all our pictures turned out. She is extremely creative and gets your pictures to you fast!
