Beautiful venue, Ambassador Ballroom was PERFECT for our reception. The ballroom atrium was perfect for cocktail hour. Service and food and beverage were absolutely fantastic. Would recommend this venue to anyone!!

I used the Amway spa for myself and my bridesmaids on my wedding day. Everyone looked gorgeous and we had a great time. Kimberly is awesome!

Our wedding ceremony and reception were at the Amway. They came up to our bridal suite to help the 8 of us get ready for the day with airbrush make up and hair. They set up pretty fast and even brought up a speaker to play music while we got ready. I've had mediocre experience with hair/makeup in the past, but the 3 stylists did a phenomenal job on everyone's hair and makeup. Each and every one of us looked our very best and felt gorgeous all day long. I had 2 hair changes during the evening as well due to our traditional Korean ceremony, and they were very accommodating and sent my stylist Cimberly to work on my hair each time. She was absolutely wonderful. It really set the tone for the day and contributed to the calmness I felt all day long!

I had my wedding reception at Amway and since we were staying there we chose the Amway salon for our hair and makeup for the bridal party/family because it was so convenient. When you're staying at Amway, you have the option of going to the Salon or having the Salon come to your room. We had them come to the suite and it was SO easy and convenient. They come prepared - set up the whole salon right in your room and get some fun music on in no time!

For the hair and makeup, the did a phenomenal job. My bridal trial with Brandi went so well that I knew it would be perfect the day of. Brandi had my pinterest page up when I arrived for the trial and we talked through what I liked and what would work best. She is amazing! I couldn't have pictured my hair/makeup any more perfect and they did just as great of a job on my bridesmaids and family. Caitlin (the salon manager) was so helpful with planning and was there the whole day of the wedding helping out and getting us whatever we needed. The team was great. I would recommend to anyone! Convenient and so worth it!

The girls at the Amway Salon did absolutely beautiful wedding makeup applications for me, my mother, and my mother-in-law! Rose and Brandi created gorgeous looks for us and I felt like the best version of myself, and Caitlin ensured that everything went smoothly on the big day. They even came up to our hotel room, and went above and beyond to make everything easy for me. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding makeup and am so happy I chose them!

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Imperial Ballroom at the Amway Grand this July. Our experience was absolutely phenomenal! The staff has a way of meticulously taking care of even the tiniest details yet they make the whole process easy and relaxed. Alia worked closely with us on the details of our and event and menu. She was incredibly patient, helpful, and thoughtful. I would not have even the tiniest reservation in recommending this venue to any bride!

We could not have had a better experience for our wedding weekend than we did with the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. I contacted their wedding coordinator, Grace Hill, about 8 months prior to our wedding and she took care of us like it was her own wedding. She was responsive, honest, kind, and so easy to work with. She then assigned me to Katie Dietrich as my catering manager, and she was just as wonderful!

Fast forward a few months.... From the moment my bridesmaids and I walked into our getting-ready suite, we were blown away. The suites on the tower side of the hotel had just been renovated and they were absolutely stunning. Even the helpful valet attendees and bellmen were such a pleasure to work with and would drop anything to help us with our things.

We had our ceremony at our home church in Grand Rapids, but we immediately came back to the hotel for our reception in the Pantlind Ballroom. First and foremost, the room itself emanates an old-world, palace look-and-feel... almost like you are in Versailles, France! The gold-gilded ceilings and mirrored walls just sparkle when the lights are dimmed and you first walk in.

The meal was not only hands-down the best wedding dinner I've ever had, but one of the best meals of all time! The food was warm, perfectly seasoned, and super fresh. Our servers were very attentive and handled our every need. Don't even get me started on that cake.. We had the red velvet cake with cream cheese filling AND a dark chocolate cake with peanut butter ganache filling. It was to DIE for and all of our guests were over the moon.

The weekend was perfect, and I could not have hoped for a better wedding than the one we had. Thank you to every single person involved. I would recommend them to every Bride I meet for their own special day.

If you are getting married in the West Michigan area, there is no greater beauty than the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. I knew that when I put down my deposit for the gorgeous Pantlind Ballroom, we were going to be WELL taken care of. Grace was so helpful when giving us the initial tour, and patiently walked us through their normal policies, room block info, etc. She was half the reason we ended up booking the hotel in the first place due to her professionalism, charm, and wedding knowledge. Once we booked, we were handed off to Katie in the catering department. She is just so sweet and attentive - make sure you ask for her! Our tasting came a few months later and we were blown away by how delicious it was. We made a few adjustments to our meal and they were quick to accommodate the revisions. Don't forget about their cake! Hands down best wedding cake I've ever tasted... and I've been to dozens of weddings. Overall, our experience thus far has been phenomenal, and it just makes me more and more excited for our upcoming wedding in September! The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel is the epitome of elegance, old-world beauty, and world-class customer service. Do yourself a favor and book them for your wedding.

My dream had always been to have my wedding reception at the Amway Grand Plaza. I am absolutely pleased by the service Amway has provided. My experience working with Amy was wonderful. The taste testing experience was a memory I will always remember. When we asked to alter a dish, the chef was more than willing to assist us and provide a second taste testing to ensure delicious meal options for our reception. The cake was beautiful and delicious. From our first meeting with Amy up to our wedding night stay at Amway, my husband and I were amazed by the treatment we were given. I would highly recommend to anyone who is considering this venue. You will not regret it!

I'm so happy my husband and I decided to stay at Amway the night of our wedding. It is a beautiful hotel, and it's in a great location. The wedding specialist was wonderful! She booked our room for us and also booked our rooms for our guests. We were not from the area so we had to visit Grand Rapids a couple of times prior to the wedding, and Grace took great care of us each time we visited. I never had to book my own room or talk to anyone in the reservation department because Grace had everything set up for us before we arrived. Our guests, my husband, and I were very impressed with the hotel and staff.

My bridesmaid, my mother, and I went to the Amway Grand Salon to have our hair and makeup down before the wedding.

They were amazing! They gave each of us our own look that matched our style and made us feel great. The make-up looks amazing and I wish I could have it done everyday!!!

We had both our Ceremony and Reception here and planned our wedding from California. We worked with Amy Dettwiler for all our catering and ceremony needs and she was exceptional!! She made it so easy for us and had everything planned out, you could tell that she had a lot of experience and led us down a path for success. The Amway is a beautiful hotel and we had our ceremony in the Presidential Ballroom with the reception in the Pantlind Ballroom. It turned out wonderfully and we can't thank them enough for the customer service that they provided to us.

In addition, our food was delicious! We received a lot of comments that it was the best food that our guest had ever had at a wedding. From the coconut shrimp to the most delicious wedding cake we could have asked for, the food was excellent and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend the Amway if you are having your wedding in Grand Rapids, they will not steer you wrong.

The Grand Plaza in St Pete did a wonderful job on everything. The rooms were ready ahead of time which allowed our guests an early check in which really helped. Wonderful job!

Our daughter , who lives in San Francisco, was getting married in Grand Rapids with mostly out of town guests. We needed a venue that was beautiful,convenient and served great food. The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel delivered on all of these things and then some. Our team of Grace Hill, wedding planner, and Kevin Johnston, director of catering, worked with us to show us how we could have a wedding reception, rehearsal dinner and Sunday brunch all at the same venue while giving each event it's own distinct feel, from urban contemporary to ballroom formal to outdoor bistro. Grace and Kevin did not just respond to our requests they became fully engaged in creating the weekend we envisioned. They offered many helpful suggestions and kept us updated on everything. In short, the service was outstanding. We received many compliments from our guests who were impressed with the food, service and amenities that the Amway offered. I do not believe there is another venue in GR that could deliver all we asked at such a high level. Having Grace Hill and Kevin Johnston-the A Team- working for us allowed me, my husband and the bride and groom to completely relax and enjoy the weekend. We were lucky to have them and the Amway is lucky as well.

Our reception was in the Pantind ballroom at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. It was AMAZING! The room was GORGEOUS and the staff was super helpful. They set everything up, made sure the room was perfect, and when it came to serving the guests, they were quick and polite. The food was delicious, never had better wedding food in my life and thats not bias:) We did not get a chance to taste the cake before we cut into it...when that piece hit my mouth it was so moist and amazing I couldn't help but smile. The whole event was put together with great professionalism and the food/dessert was the fantastic. They even made a birthday cake for my mom, lit the candle, and let me bring it to her as a surprise:) I would highly recommend using Amway for your wedding venue. You wont be disappointed!

The Amway was the perfect location for our wedding reception. I've known I've wanted to have my reception here since I was little. :) Amy Detweiller was a fantastic wedding organizer, provided by the Amway. Service at the reception was impeccable and Amy had arranged everything exactly to our wishes. The Pantlind Ballroom was beautiful and many, many of our guests commented on both the elegance of the ballroom and the hotel in general. Our guests stayed in the updated Tower section of the hotel and my husband and I stayed in one of the Tower Suites which had a wonderful view of the river. I highly recommend the Amway. They made our wedding day and night perfect!

I had my guests stay at the Amway Grand Plaza for my wedding. They all absolutely loved it! I heard nothing but great compliments saying it was beautiful, clean, and that the staff was so friendly and professional. I kept needing to add rooms to my block and working with Grace was such a pleasure. She made the experience stress free and did everything possible to help me get more rooms over such a busy period for the hotel. I also used the salon for my hair, make-up and pre-wedding pampering. I absolutely loved my hair and make-up and the girls working in the salon were wonderful! I would absolutely would recommend working with the Amway.

The Amway Grand Hotel Staff made my wedding the most memorable day of my life. They were helpful and flexible. I could have not picked a better place to celebrate my wedding.

I needed a salon that could do my hair and makeup and hair for my 8 bridesmaids and the flower girl. Since we were staying downtown at the Amway Grand, I didn't want to have to drive all of my girls somewhere, so being able to just take the elevator downstairs within the hotel was so great. The price was pretty average, and the salon was very flexible. I live out of town, so I had my trial done nearly 6 months before my wedding when I was in town, and I changed my mind about a lot of things in between. They did a great job of listening to all of my changes and I ended up with exactly what I wanted! All of the girls hair also looked great, and they got us all done in just a couple of hours, so we were able to have a nice relaxing morning with plenty of time to get ready.

If you want a reception where absolutely everything is taken care of for you. If you want a bride that is worry free and extreamly happy on her wedding day then definetly choose the Amway Grand. Their staff is fabulous, their food wonderful and the reception venues timeless. Ours was in the Imperial Ballroom and the old time charm and character is unmatched by any other venue in the city. The staff works so well with your other vendors, they take care of your guests and really make you feel that your wedding is the most important wedding that has ever been held there. It is worth the extra $$ you will not be dissappointed. Also consider GP sports in the Amway if you want a REALLY reasonablly priced and fun casual rehearsal dinner spot. My guests loved it.

I had the most beautiful wedding at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel! Our coordinator Darrin Lettinga was such a pleasure to work with and helped us every way possible. Our room coordinator Grace Hill was also such a joy and helped us with anything she could. Our food was amazing, and the staff was so kind hearted and provided excellent service! Thank you Amway!! I could not have had a better experience with the staff at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. Jennifer and Grace were an absolute delight to work with.They were very accommodating to our requests and always quick to get back to us with an answer. They treated us not only as clients, but as people they genuinely cared about. From catering to booking rooms for our guests, they were always on top of everything and eager to help when they could. The ambiance of the hotel and staff created a wonderful atmosphere for our guests and for us during our wedding weekend. We will definitely be recommending this venue :)

The amway provided catering at the Gram(GR Art Museum). Grace Hill, the coordinator was outstanding, so helpful, responsive, and able to secure vendors for other services on very short notice! We can't say enough about Grace Hill and the Amway Team!

I was so happy to have the Amway hotel included in my list of wedding vendors!! I reserved a block of hotel rooms for our wedding guests, and couldn't have been happier with the service we received. My husband and I also stayed there on our wedding night and couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our first night as husband and wife. And our wonderful sales manager, Grace, was so sweet and sent us a small gift in our room which was a wonderful surprise! Grace was such a help through the entire process and was extremely responsive to all of my questions. She also assisted me with vendor recommendations and with her help, we booked a great transportation company as well as helping to coordinate my makeup appointment. I used the Vasaio Spa inside the Amway, and they were also absolutely wonderful & my makeup was PERFECT thanks to Rachel! :) I would definitely recommend using the Amway for any wedding related needs - they are professional and you will receive superior service from everyone you come in contact with!

We recently had our wedding reception in the Pantlind Ballroom at the Amway and worked through all the details with Jennifer. She was extremely responsive and a joy to work with. Amway followed through on everything as promised and served and removed all dishes very discreetly to allow the evening to continue without interruption. Amway Hotel has always had a "classy" reputation and given our wedding experience we truly observed the top notch service. To our surprise when my groom and I went to our suite at the end of the evening there was a bottle of chilled champagne, fresh baked cookies, and chocolate covered strawberries! As a busy newlywed couple trying to mingle with everyone else, you often don't get the chance to grab enough to eat so the sweet treat at the end of the night was the icing on the cake.
Speaking of cake- we had Amway do our cake as well. It was absolutely beautiful and i've heard rave reviews on the taste! I can't wait for our one year anniversary to have a fresh baked one to enjoy with my husband :)

My wedding was held on April 16, 2010 and Amway was a great place to have the reception! They were completely professional and helpful with everything. Its a pretty big venue so it could hold all my guests with ease with plenty of room to spare. It was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you Amway!!!

My wedding reception was held November 7, 2009, at the Amway Grand Plaza in the Imperial Ballroom. Amy Dettwiler was AMAZING! Service was top notch. I could not get over how beautiful the room was.....and the food!!! OH MY GOD, IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!! Guests could not stop complimenting my husband and I the entire night. From the moment cocktail hour started until we had the last dance of the night, the Amway Grand Plaza showed our guests an amazing evening.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Amway Grand. Grace was so helpful and fantastic to work with.

The Amway was completely professional and courtious all the way down to the bellman and valet. We have stayed at many fine hotels and I can honestly say this was the best. What I did not remember, they did and just did it so I could enjoy our time.

Everyone at the Amway Grand was extremely pleasant and helpful. Our daughter's wedding was absolutely wonderful! Great food, awesome staff, beautiful and clean rooms along with the charm of old and new brought together at the Amway made for the perfect event gathering.

If you want to have a first class celebration, the Amway Grand Plaza will make it happen. Ask questions, be organized, and everything will go smoothly. After everything was said and done for our wedding, the best piece of advice we can give is to book your room for at least two nights.

All of the guests that stayed at the hotel loved it, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Every employee at the Amway is friendly, professional and helpful. When making a request we never heard the word no from the Amway. They responded to every e-mail and phone call promptly. Many guests at my wedding reception commented on the outstanding customer service that the Amway provided. The Amway is a beautiful hotel with a well deserved great reputation. I can't say enough good things regarding the Amway and would recommend them to anyone getting married.

Colleen Gill and Grace Hill were my primary contacts for David and my wedding. They were the most wonderful people to work with: professional, curteous, prompt, and just overall fabolous!! Both Colleen and Grace went above and beyond the call of duty for the wedding. It truly was my pleasure to work with them. I deeply appreciate everything that these two women had done!! not only were they like great friends to work with. They are sooo detail oriented, they were actually asking me about things that I had not even thought about. Ex. early check in for our out of town guests. Clearly these women are the best at what they do and the thing that I most appreciated about Colleen and Grace was that they treated our wedding as if it was their own so every detail was considered and brought to my attention.

Honestly, I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at the Amway. If there are any other events in David and my life together....We would have it at the Amway and would love to work with Grace and Colleen again.

I would highly recommend anyone, who is getting married, to strongly consider the Amway Grand and to work hand in hand with both Colleen and Grace. Our wedding was perfect literally. Nothing was late, the food was absolutely amazing, and most importantly...the service was phenomenal!!! Again, the food was ridiculously good, we still are receiving compliments (email, phonecalls) letting us know that the food was the best ever. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Amway at Bentham's. Some of our guests the day of the wedding went to Bentham's for lunch because they loved the food from the rehearsal. Oh!! and the cake! During our tasting, the pastry chef Doug, met with us. He actually sat there and listened to our ideas, drew a picture of what we wanted, and then created it for our wedding. It was the most fantastic experience.

Everyone that had attended the wedding praised David and I for doing such a wonderful job with the wedding (again, courtesy of Colleen and Grace). Also, they were estatic with the beauty of the hotel and the wonderful attention that they had received from the entire staff of the Amway.

All in all, the wedding was awesome!! David and I are so grateful to the entire staff at the Amway for making our wedding so wonderful and again, going above and beyond our expectations with everything!!

The Amway Grand Hotel was wonderful to work with. From the reservation of a guest room block (Grace) to working with the flexible catering manager (Amy) to the banquet captain (Dennis) at the recetion. The food was spectacular. The Imperial Ballroom is a very impressive location for a wedding reception.

We were able to also hold our rehearsal dinner on site which alleviated headaches for our out of town guests.

Working with Grace, and the other staff at the Amway, to arrange accommodations for our January wedding was easy! Our guests were impressed by the beautiful hotel and their rooms. Anyone who needed assistance from the front desk got the answers they needed and immediate help. I will say that we had a bit of a challenge getting our gift bags delivered properly. I would encourage brides to match the guest list from the hotel to correspond with the names on the bag (ie. if your friend goes by "Katie", but would have registered for her room with her proper name "Mary Kathryn", be sure to let the hotel know, because they can't read your mind. Richard and his staff at the bell station made everything right as soon as a notified them of the confusion.

Amy Dettwiler in Catering/Sales, Grace Kuklewski, sales/manager and Dennis Higgins were FANTASTIC to work with. The food was outstanding, everything from the salad, soup, entree, cake, fajita station, and brunch were TOP NOTCH. The hotels were beautiful, clean and very spacious! We used this hotel for wedding party, family, and guests. From the first moment we contacted them, they were graciously attentive to everything we needed! A fantastic staff and elegant surroundings made the whole wedding event a delight!

I worked with Grace Kuklewski to setup overnight accommodations for out-of-town guests. We also had our honeymoon suite with them. They allowed us to check into the suite early so that I and all of my bridesmaids could use the room to get ready. We also used the room for our indoor portraits.

Grace has always been a phenomenal person to work with. Responds to your inquiries quickly and goes out of her way to help accommodate any and all needs you have! The rest of the staff that assisted us throughout the day were exceptional as well! They were able to get a steam machine to take out the wrinkles of my wedding dress. They were there and helped when we needed it most!

We had a small wedding with about 30 people in attendance. We booked rooms for our guests and a suite for ourselves at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. We also held our wedding reception at Cygnus 27 in their private dinning room (located in the Amway). The Amway Grand was nothing but exceptional. Amy in catering was an absolute sweetheart and easy to work with. Grace was fabulous in reservations and dealt with my many questions. Dennis, the head server the night of the reception did nothing but charm my whole family and do an absolute amazing job. Everything was amazing!

The Amway staff completely exceeded every expectation for the event. They were true partners in the event and did everything possible to make it spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a better expererience at the Amway. Amy Dettweiler and Grace Hill were so easy to work with and made our lives so much easier during the planning process. Amy was quick to offer up suggestions and recommendations and also a great listener who went out of her way to make sure everything we asked for was done and perfect. Grace was very flexible and responsive in managing our room block and we were able to have rooms for every person that wanted to stay at the Amway, all at a great rate. She also helped us coordinate room gift bags, which went off without a hitch. We were in the Paintlind Ballroom, which was gorgeous, but also considered the Imperial Ballroom as well, which is equally amazing. We initially shied away from looking at hotel ballrooms because we wanted a unique site and not just a "space," but everything about the rooms at the Amway are unique, and we knew we had found our venue the minute we walked in. If you are getting married in Grand Rapids, it would be a mistake to not at least consider the Amway.

I thought it would be difficult for the experience to get even better once we got to the hotel and began our stay. I was quite wrong. The rooms were gorgeous, the valet were fabulous, the food was incredible and my out of town guests were on cloud nine. Thank you to Grace and the entire Amway Team for making my wedding just as fabulous as I try to make my clients. I really can't thank you enough. As my family said as they were heading out of town "We surley will be back!" Kudos to you all ~ you all deserve a bonus! What I did not remember, they did and just did it so I could enjoy our time.

Jennifer May and the staff at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel were a pleasure to work with. This is the most elegant, classic, luxurious hotel in Grand Rapids and their service lived up to their appearance. My guests raved about the grand ballrooms and deluxe accomodations. We had our wedding in the GR Ford Ballroom, cocktails in the East Concourse, and reception in the Pantlind Ballroom. Their catering is excellent, their rates reasonable, and the staff is superb. If you want to be treated like royalty, this is the place to go.

The Amway Grand was fantastic. Both the Sales Manager and Catering Manager were incredibly helpful and easy to work with. It was probably the busiest week of the year (Amway Convention and Art Fair) for them but they handled our wedding like it was the only thing going on in GR.

Accommodations for out of town guests were beyond expectations. A beautiful suite with attached rooms for family. The staff were ready to help in any way possible. Last minute changes were not a problem. The entire hotel is beautiful, immaculate, and an awesome decor.

We loved having our wedding here! Katie was so fun to work with and in the end made sure everything went perfectly. The food is incredible!!! Our cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted amazing!

The ladies at the salon at the Amway Grand did a great job. My hair and make-up was great for both my trial and on my big day. My stylist, Rose, made the requested adjustments for my wedding and I LOVED my hair especially for the wedding. They also did the hair for all my bridesmaids (and my mom) and they looked awesome too. Everyone was super friendly (and helpful, Caitlin, the main contact I had throughout the process, was always quick to respond to my questions) and nice and the atmosphere was relaxed, even though I was kind of freaking out that day. We had lots of fun, and my pre-wedding massage was awesome as well!

I received so many compliments about this venue from my guests. The employees were great to work with.

The Amway is the ideal reception venue in Grand Rapids! It offers beautiful ballrooms, amazing food and beverages and a wonderful staff this is knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. All catering, beverages, cake are included in the wedding package you choose so know that before hand so that you are not dissapointed if you want to use an outside vendor for these things.

The Amway Grand Plaza hotel is an absolute gem for a city the size of Grand Rapids. The hotel is both opulent and inviting at the same time. The staff is wonderful and so great to work with. They are flexible, efficient and really want to please. Our event was flawless, the food outstanding, and our guests had a wonderful time. Any request was honored with enthusiasm, no matter how late in the game we made it. I would highly recommend an event at this venue. I can't think of anything they could have done better!

The Amway provided exceptional service for our wedding, including the preparation leading up to the event and especially the day of the event. We had zero complaints with the quality, responsiveness, professionalism and overall service by the Amway.

The Amway and all of our contacts there, and their teams, made our Wedding Weekend an exceptional memory. Most importantly, our guests enjoyed everything from the accomodations to the amazing food and cake. A top notch affair. As the day drew closer, the Amway staff was extremely responsive. We had a few silly requests, out of the norm, and the answer was always 'yes', what a fun place to work with! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Exceptional in all respects.

If you want a 1st class venue for your reception, look no further. It's definitely on the more expensive side, but worth every penny. They take care of EVERYTHING for you! The food is incredible - my guests RAVED about the cocktail hour hors d'ouevres, dinner was amazing, and the cupcakes (instead of wedding cake) were the smash hit of the night!

I had both my ceremony and reception at the Amway Grand (ceremony in the Ford ballroom, reception in the Imperial). I still have people commenting to me that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have been to. Everything went perfectly (and was very low stress for me) on the day of the wedding, and the food and cake were absolutely AMAZING. I have never tasted food like that at a wedding reception!

Although our wedding coordinator at the Amway was slow to respond at times, when it came down to it she got the job done wonderfully on the day that mattered. Our guests have raved about how great everything was with their stay at the Amway and the entire wedding weekend. I cannot imagine a more wonderful place for a classic wedding!

We had Doug Orr who is the Pastry Chef for Amway, do our cake. I always said I didn't want a chocolate cake, but when I tasted the samples, I devoured the chocolate one. Our cake was so beautiful, and so delicious. Everyone at out wedding raved about it. Doug is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and is so very talented. Do yourself a favor and have him do your cake for your big day!

The booking process was very simple and efficient. I commend the staff for being so friendly, knowledgable and easy to work with.

My husband and I decided to have our wedding in Grand Rapids and were planning from where we live in Arizona. As soon as we decided on GR- I knew I wanted the Amway as the venue. We had the Pantlind ballroom which was gorgeous. Most of our guests came from out of town and loved staying in the hotel. The hotel block was wonderful. It was convenient for everyone to have the wedding at the hotel and lodging as well. The food was great. We worked with Alia as our liaison and she was amazing! I highly recommend working with her. I cannot say enough good things about Alia and how smoothly she helped plan our wedding while we were across the country. The only downsides were due to the venue booking policy you often can't book a wedding more than a year advance which may not be an issue for some and our cake design turned out a little bit different than I thought it would but that may have been on me for not being more clear on the design I imagined. Overall, it was a wonderful wedding experience to have both our ceremony and reception and I highly recommend to anyone planning a wedding. We loved the Amway for it's beauty and great customer service(& the delicious food!)

The Amway Grand was a great wedding reception venue. The staff was beyond courteous and professional. The room was gorgeous and the food was perfect. We received so many compliments on our night. They gave us the wedding that we always wanted.

We had our reception at the Amway Grand Plaza in the Pantlind Ballroom and everything was perfect. Exactly how we had envisioned our reception as bride and groom. The food was great, as was the cake and the first-class service. Would highly recommend this venue.

They were very well organized and everything was smooth sailing all night! I knew I didn't have to worry about a thing... they were on top of it. HIGHLY recommend to anyone... especially if you are looking for something formal/traditional/elegant

AGPH was a fabulous place for a wedding reception - expensive reception costs (liquor was overpriced), but the rooms were an exceptional value and our guests were very well served. Grace was awesome to work with for arranging rooms and making plans. The Bride and Groom couldn't be more pleased with their wedding. Food and cake were outstanding.

Well worth the expense! ALL Amway employees catered to our every need. From housing our guest to delivering cookies to the guest room. The food and room was FABULOUS!
