Scott and his team went above and beyond to bring my vision to life better than I could have hoped or imagined! Scott was able to take a few simple inspiration pictures from Pinterest, and run with it. When other florists said it wasn’t possible to do with our budget, Scott said no problem!
We received so many compliments on the life, energy, and color that the florals brought to our wedding.

Simply amazing
Going with American Floral was one of the best choices I made for our wedding. I love flowers but have little design skills, and Scott took my ideas and made them happen. He worked with my budget, was honest and creative, and took what felt like silly requests from my mother and I with the utmost professionalism. The flowers were simply stunning, from the bouquet to the reception, and all the extra greenery and little touches that he added brought the venue together. American Florals Asks the Right Questions to Create Exquisite, Personal Floral Designs
I knew that Scott Jones at American Florals was the floral I designer I wanted for my daughter’s wedding as soon as he started asking questions. We really wanted the décor to complement the feel of my daughter’s wedding venue, Mill Stone at Adams Pond in Columbia, S.C., and his choices were perfect and timeless. His use of winter evergreens of different shades and textures, huge white roses, and dried botanicals of every description made for glorious table arrangements and mantle arrangements. The arch he created as a backdrop for my daughter’s outdoor, pond-side wedding was beautiful in person and in pictures, framing the bride, the groom, and the officiant. And the bouquets he created for my daughter and her bridesmaids were bountiful and exquisite. Scott is experienced, personable, and willing to work within a budget. I could not recommend a floral design company more highly!

We cannot recommend American Floral enough!! We had such an amazing experience with Scott and his team throughout wedding planning--he met with us several times to go over our ideas and was so helpful with recommending what would look good with our style/theme and also what we might need and possible placements. From just a few pictures he and his team were able to see what we wanted and deliver on it and MORE! Our wedding flowers were so beautiful and classic and our guests still rave about them!! Scott and his team also had great communication--if we ever had any questions he got back to us right away. We will be using them again for other events, and recommend them to everyone we know!

AMAZING customer service
We used American Floral for my daughter's wedding. From the first meeting, Scott was amazing. He asked questions so he knew EXACTLY what we wanted. He kept in touch with us through the whole process. The day of the wedding it was raining so we had to move the service and flowers inside. He instantly made it happen. His comic relief was much needed on wedding day! Everyone commented on how beautifully everything was decorated especially the cake. I am so glad we found Scott and American Floral. I would definitely recommend him over and over again!

I planned our small wedding at the Lace House remotely from St. Louis. After not getting helpful responses from other local florists, Scott was incredibly welcoming and supportive in our email conversations. He spent time getting to know my tastes and vision for my bouquet and was always willing to answer my questions or make adjustments as needed. He was so easy to work with and I trusted his keen sense of style to create a bouquet that would beautifully complement the other colors and style of our wedding. I was in love with my bouquet from the moment I saw it. Fresh, vibrant and full, it perfectly captured what I had envisioned. The fresh-cut flowers for several guests were also beautifully appointed. Not only were they instrumental with the flowers but they also were very helpful with the overall decor and theme for the wedding. Gorgeous Florals!
Scott made working at an unfamiliar venue (I am a wedding planner based out of Charleston, SC) such a breeze. He attended our site visit prior to the wedding, and had such wonderful suggestions on ideas to utilize the space. We had a number of last minute changes in the floral needs, and Scott was so incredibly accommodating. The florals he + his team produced were absolutely gorgeous, and just what my couple was looking for! They were such showstoppers. I was so appreciative of how easy he made things for myself and my clients. Would absolutely recommend!!

American Floral MADE my wedding!!!
I worked with Scott from American Floral on the flowers for my wedding and it was literally one of the best decisions I could have made! Scott and his team go the extra mile to make sure their brides are taken care of, and the way they turned my vision into reality was literally magic! I felt was though I had stepped into one of my Pinterest photos! Every time I (or any of my guests, honestly) walked into the ballroom, my breath was taken away by the beauty of the floral arrangements! These guys are really top notch! I found American Floral at a Bridal expo that I attended in June 2019 and fell in love with their designs. They were so unique and elegant which was the exact look I was going for the wedding. During the consultation, we met with Scott Jones and he was simply amazing. He was professional, funny, and knowledgeable. I trusted him to ensure my vision came to life! Stunning Flowers!
You cannot go wrong with American Floral. Scott and his team decorated my wedding venue beautifully. I was stunned at how they were able to capture my vision. I told them I wanted a blend of two bouquets I found online and the finish product was breathtaking. I'm so glad there were pictures because I want this bouquet to last forever. They took my dreams and made it a reality. The venue looked like a garden fairy tale with all of the bright beautiful colors.

Scott did an absolutely superb job with my daughter’s wedding on 7.11.2020. His color combination for bouquets was exactly what we had hoped for, and the church altar arrangements were gorgeous. After the church ceremony, the altar arrangements provided yet more beautiful décor for the reception. We faced many changes to our original plan due to Covid, and Scott met every obstacle with understanding and suggestions. American Floral is excellent to work with and provides beautiful flowers!

I have been planning my wedding for the past 16 months to take place in May of 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we have had to postpone. Scott was so flexible and willing to work with us during this difficult time. Scott was one of the first vendors to say he would be wherever I needed him to be on whatever day. Scott and the whole team at American Floral are absolutely phenomenal. Their work is fantastic and their willingness to go above and beyond just can’t be beat. I had my wedding date planned almost a year ago for beginning of May and American Floral had been working with me on it along the way. With the virus going around, and having so many elderly and out of town guests, unfortunately we had to postpone. American Floral was checking on me the whole way! Not just about wedding details, but also how I was feeling with all of it. They really care about you and want you to have the best experience possible! I’ve talked to other brides who have used other companies and they always say they wished they would have had the service that American Floral provides. I’ve now updated my wedding day and they are going out of their way to accommodate my new date. I’m so glad I went with them and will recommend them 100% to anyone needing a florist!

The MAN, Scott Jones!
American Floral is the absolute best of the best of Columbia South Carolina flowers! I would love to say I had my wedding flowers all planned out in my head, but poor Scott Jones had to deal with my “let’s use blue flowers... maybe like this, but I don’t really know” attitude. To say Scott brought a fairy tale to life would be an understatement. The flowers were even more beautiful than I ever could have dreamed of. Not only did he create incredible arrangements for our table, he created an extraordinary chuppah adorned with the most beautiful flowers. He even coordinated the flowers for my cake effortlessly. I would choose Scott again and again for flowers and recommend him to absolutely everyone. If this wasn’t convincing enough, my sister lives in Maryland and she has already decided that Scott will be coming up to Maryland to do her flowers at her wedding someday! That’s how much we LOVE Scott!!

Of all my vendors, I enjoyed planning with Scott the most!! He was so energetic, lively, and fun to work with. He was extremely open to my ideas and listened diligently. We bounced ideas back and forth between what I envisioned and what he could execute. He was very flexible about working with my budget and making the most we could out of my money. He helped me navigate the tough decisions like where to spend my money, focusing on the areas people see the most to get the most bang for my buck. He had tons of pictures to show me from past weddings at my venue, which was great when getting ideas of what I wanted. On my wedding day, I had NO worries whatsoever; I knew he would handle everything flawlessly, which he did. I am so thankful I let him and his crew do all the flowers-- looking back, I can't imagine trying to conquer this task on my own or with family and friends' help. The florals were gorgeous and made the ceremony and reception so special! I would recommend Scott and American Floral to anyone!

I have to admit, the flowers were my only "wildcard" of all my planning for our daughter's wedding. I was a little nervous. I just could not envision what it would look like. If I could give Scott and his team a billion stars I would. Early on in my wedding planning I went into my first consultation with Scott with some vague ideas and a few photos off Pinterest and I can't even tell you how happy I was with the outcome. Scott was always very responsive, and when the day came, he had executed what I had in my mind perfectly. Somehow, he was able to take the image I had in my head and make it a reality. The flowers that were at my wedding looked like a million bucks, I could not have been happier! Scott is great! By far my favorite person to work with when planning my wedding. He was easy to work with, did everything I asked, was reassuring, coordinated with my bakery to get the flowers on the cake, coordinated with my caterer to set up the venue, and was above and beyond what a bride needs on her wedding day!

We had the best experience with American Floral. I went into a meeting with them with virtually no idea of what kind of flowers I wanted. But they gave me something even better than anything I could have imagined! When I arrived at the venue to prepare for the wedding, all the flowers were already set up (even before I asked them to come!). Everything was absolutely stunning, and people commented on the flowers over and over.
What a great experience!

We were so happy to have used American Floral for our wedding on 04/25/15. Scott worked with us within our budget to create a picture perfect wedding. Scott listened to everything my husband and I wanted for our wedding flowers and perfectly created our vision. The flowers themselves, the colors, and the arrangements were perfect! I could not have envisioned anything more perfect myself. The moment i first saw my bridal bouquet, my breath was taken away. My bridesmaids' flowers were beautiful and the arrangements for the ceremony and reception were perfect. I gushed about my bridal bouquet to my husband for days while on our honeymoon. We will be using no one but American Floral for any events or celebrations in the future.

I wouldn't recommend any other place for flowers! Scott listened to my entire vision for my wedding and made it happen times two! The assortments he came up with were beautiful and he helped me stay within budget.

DONT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE. Scott was accepting of my budget and gave me the MOST beautiful wedding! They're professional but don't take themselves too seriously. So beautiful and so fun. Just do it.

Scott is hands down the best florist EVER!!!!! He was such a blast to work with. He had previously done my older sister's wedding and I loved his floral arrangements from her wedding. Although I went in a completely different direction from what my sister did, Scott made it happen. Being a huge Gamecock fan like myself, he helped us incorporate some garnet into our floral arrangements. I must have met with Scott 5 or 6 different times because I was constantly changing or tweaking what we wanted. Scott never complained and actually would make a suggestion that would turn out better than I had expected. He definitely went above and beyond on our wedding day as well. I still have people calling us talking about how beautiful our flowers were and the arrangement in the center of the tent. Scott you were amazing and such a blast to work with. Thank you for making our wedding so beautiful

I can not say nothing but great things about American Floral! Scott and the whole entire staff were wonderful throughout the whole planning process of our wedding. I will definitely recommend American Floral to anyone planning a wedding! Scott's personality just makes picking out flowers fun! Literally! Very well organized and very personal. Im almost sad that our wedding is over because now the fun with scott is over! But my flowers were gorgeous and everyone was talking about how great the smelled.

I can't say enough good things about Scott and his team! They were professional, patient and the quality of their work was incredible. We were on a tight budget, but you would never have guessed that based on the end result. Also - Scott was helpful in recommending other vendors to us.

Scott and his staff are the best of the best! I'm the kind of person that has a hard time putting my thoughts into words and Scott took extra time to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted. Scott and the whole crew at American floral are not only amazing with their flowers they are amazing with their customer service. I am sure Scott doubles as a therapist. The flowers that Scott did for our wedding and my bridal portraits were absolutely amazing! Everyone at the wedding is still talking about how beautiful everything was. I am not a picky bride so I pretty much left everything up to Scott. And with very little help from me he took everything I imagined and made it so much better! Thank you Scott and thank you American floral for the most beautiful flowers and arrangements I have ever seen. I will never be able to thank you guys enough!!

Scott truly loves what he does and, most especially, ANTICIPATES needs that an overwhelmed bride and her mother would never have thought about! I had an awesome experience with Scott. Since my husband and I both work out of the country, we did everything from a distance. Scott was always available via email and would work with me to set up a time for telephone conversations also. I sent him tons of pictures and told him what I had in mind as far as my vision and he did the rest. He’s so friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful in every area of the wedding planning process. He’s also great about helping with ideas and suggestions. Everything was absolutely beautiful! I would certainly recommend him again.

From our very first meeting, Scott Jones was a pleasure to work with for my daughter's wedding. He listened, gave suggestions, and his sense of humor calmed this out of state Mother of the Bride down on more than one occasion. He was very honest and up front with all estimates. I was very worried about the arrangements due to our budget, but we left it up to him to choose the flowers. He and his staff created absolutely gorgeous arrangements for the wedding and reception! My daughter's bouquet was exactly what we envisioned, and all the flowers looked wonderful in the pictures. I will definitely recommend him to everyone.

The buffet centerpiece and bridal bouquet were absolutely beautiful. They were exactly what I envisioned and made all of the other decor come together. The colors were perfect!

American Floral was INCREDIBLE! Scott, the owner, provided impeccable service and was extremely helpful the entire process! I actually left my previous florist because she was so unresponsive and scatter-brained. A friend recommended American Floral so I went to them and was amazed at the difference! Scott helped me figure out how to get the best flowers for my budget and was very honest and truly wanted to help me. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and I didn't have to worry about a thing. He also returns emails very promptly and meets with everyone personally. Definitely pick American Floral! They will help you create a beautiful vision for your wedding!

Scott Jones at American Floral is extremely talented and easy to work with. He has so many great ideas and was even able to offer great ideas and suggestions about other aspects of the wedding. He was great about following up with us and quick to respond anytime we tried to reach him. All of the floral arrangements on my wedding day were absolutely beautiful! Although his services weren't cheap, we thought he was well worth the money and we would highly recommend him to any couple looking for a talented and professional florist!

I was so pleased with Scott Jones at American Floral, and his willingness to make my wedding flowers fit my vision and my budget! Not knowing much about flowers myself, I was able to tell him the "look" that I was going for, and he definitely exceeded my expectations! The altar arrangements in the church were stunning, and the reception centerpieces were just the exactly what I had pictured in my mind! I highly recommend American Floral to anyone looking for a wedding florist!
