Hiring Amber to help plan our wedding was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was kind, organized, responsive, knowledgeable and funny. Amber knew everyone in Santa Barbara, she had the best vendor recommendations and truly went above and beyond for us and our wedding. She even brought rose petals when Costco was out for the petal toss, moved all of the flowers from the ceremony to the ballroom and brought table numbers for us so we didn’t have to purchase our own. Not only did Amber really hear us when we spoke about budget and what we were envisioning, but she even tried to help save money when we didn’t ask. She would offer cheaper and better solutions. We would hire Amber again and again if we could. You would be making the best decision in hiring her for your big day. She is worth every penny! -

Amber was our lifeline throughout the whole process. In fact, we even shifted our wedding date by a week to work with her. She was honest and transparent about what to prioritize, and how to make the most of your budget. She knew exactly how to bring our vision to life, without going over budget. She found us savings in areas we never would have known of ourselves, and truly made the experience exceptional. My fiance and I were so thankful for Amber. We’d do it all over again with her as our planner.

We can’t recommend Amber enough! From the beginning, she was incredibly organized, professional, and genuinely easy to work with.
Amber struck a great balance between offering guidance and giving us the freedom to have fun with the creative side of our wedding. She was always supportive and thoughtful in her input, while still making space for us to explore ideas and shape the design in a way that felt true to us. The process felt very collaborative, which we really appreciated.
She was also a huge help when it came to vendor selection and coordination. Even though she isn’t based in the Santa Ynez Valley, she knows the area extremely well and was always willing to meet us there for planning meetings. Her familiarity with local vendors and logistics made everything feel much more manageable.
Communication was one of Amber’s biggest strengths — she was always quick to respond, flexible, and calm, no matter what came up. She handled every request we threw her way with a positive attitude and made the entire planning process feel organized and far less stressful.
We’re so grateful for Amber’s support and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a planner they can trust and genuinely enjoy working with. -

Amber was amazing to work with. She’s super responsive and somehow turned my scattered thoughts into the exact wedding look I wanted (even when I couldn’t explain it well).
If décor isn’t your thing, she’ll totally run with your ideas and make it happen. She breaks everything down so you’re not overwhelmed, keeps you on budget, and is always there when you need her. In the end, everything came together beautifully and felt effortless on my end.
I’ve had so many people tell me, “This is the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever been to.” We had a mariachi, a live band, and a DJ — everything flowed seamlessly. We picked the mariachi and band, and Amber handled the rest of the vendors.
For perspective, I had 160 people, no kids and my doggies where there.
Her husband even helped with the fur babies!
The day of the wedding, I didn’t lift a finger. Everything just happened, perfectly, and I got to fully enjoy my day. I’m still in awe of how beautiful it all was, and I’m so grateful I chose Amber to be part of it.
On top of all that, she’s just a really cool person to work with — fun, easygoing, and someone you actually want around during the whole process.

We couldn’t recommend Amber enough! She was extremely responsive upon reaching out and was able to set up time to go over my vision ASAP! She scheduled in person visits with me and my vendors, and helped pick out every detail I could have imagined. I had a soft vision of what I wanted but she brought it to life with more details than we could have imagined.
Everyone who attended our wedding said it was one of the best weddings they attended. I felt so calm on my wedding day knowing she had each detail planned out. The vendors she helped to select were top notch in their services as well as how they meshed with us a couple.
She helped us plan this dream wedding in under a year! Thank you infinitely Amber!

Amber Alyse Events made our wedding planning experience not only stress-free but genuinely enjoyable. Amber’s amazing organizational skills and thoughtful approach kept us calm and focused throughout the process. She was full service and helped plan all aspects which was great. We found Amber three months prior to our wedding, when our previous planner quit (before we could fire her). Amber immediately responded to my email inquiry and we spoke THAT evening. Within 24 hours Amber was on board. Suddenly the wedding planning experience was everything we were hoping it would have been. Amber is honest, kind, thoughtful, genuine, responsive, and generous. For the last three months Amber was an incredible suppport and confidant. She never tried to upsell us and she did her best to help maintain our budget. Amber was so instrumental in making our wedding the best day ever. She was so organized leading up to the day I never felt like there were looming loose ends. Amber is awesome! In tune, up to date on all the important trends. Luxury weddings with a sensible down to earth approach. Always available and ready to assist at every turn. Her recommendations were always 200% of our expectation, and Amber partnered with us on critical decisions. Amber is the BEST!
We hired Amber as our month of coordinator and she was so awesome! From our first conversation we knew she was the perfect planner for us. She has a great make-it-work approach, but gives honest answers based on years of experience to help steer you to the best version of your day. She was available for questions, suggestions and peace of mind throughout the entire planning process and then jumped in seamlessly month-of to coordinate with all of our vendors. We were so grateful for her vendor suggestions, all of whom were fabulous, and for answering all of our questions about the best flow for the night and which design elements were worth the extra money. We made a last minute design tweak and she swapped out our furniture rentals to make our dream aesthetic come true. Our venue had a fountain that the mother of the bride wanted to fill with flowers, but we didn’t have time to set it up and then day of we found that Amber had made it happen with our leftover florals. It was such an amazing finishing touch! -

Amber won us over during our very first phone meeting. She was so fun, sweet, bubbly, and easy to talk to that we immediately felt comfortable with her and knew she was the one.
During the planning process, we hopped on numerous calls and video chats (and even met up in Santa Barbara where our venue was) to check things off our wedding to-do list. Amber quickly grasped our style and vision, and fully delivered on every detail of our wedding day, from recommending a florist that perfectly fit our style to selecting vibrant tabletop decor that embodied the essence of our summer rooftop wedding. When we saw how everything came together for the first time, we were absolutely thrilled! Amber took care of everything from beginning to end, and we fully enjoyed ourselves with zero stress. Our guests also couldn't stop raving about how unique and beautiful the day was for weeks (& months) after.
We had so much fun planning with Amber and felt like we were in great hands. She was extremely accessible (which we were SO thankful for as we were cramming last minute items during the week of our wedding), and always made us feel comfortable reaching out to her, no matter the time or reason. Overall, we would recommend Amber to anyone in a heartbeat! -

Amber was so amazing to work with. Part of my professional background was in event planning so I thought I could handle it without a planner but boy was I wrong and Amber was a godsend. When we started to plan our destination wedding in Las Vegas in March of 2022, I knew I would need a lot of help! I feel so lucky that we found Amber! She was so organized and was always prompt to answer emails and texts, even with questions about what seemed like the smallest details. She kept me sane planning a wedding 2,000 miles away. There are a lot of decisions made during the wedding process and hiring Amber as our wedding planner was the single best one.
From the first moment we spoke, Amber felt like an old friend. She was someone I knew I could trust and someone experienced that I could turn to when I didn’t have the answers or just felt overwhelmed. And honestly, what more could you ask for as a bride?! And though our wedding was a destination wedding for both my husband and I and Amber, it felt like she was just minutes away. She was incredibly responsive, super flexible, and organized enough to take my scrambled thoughts and Pinterest boards and pull together a wedding day that I could have only dreamed of. She had recommendations for timelines and vendors, helped lift the weight of some of the vendor search, and kept in regular contact about deadlines and things I needed to be thinking about throughout the planning process. She told me early on that her goal was to make sure that I didn’t have to think about a single logistical thing on my wedding day and I can honestly say that she took all of that on so I didn’t have to. If anything went wrong, and I’m sure something did, I never heard a word about it. She is the queen of handling it and I couldn’t be more grateful to her for all of her help. I highly recommend Amber for your planning needs. She’s truly the best! -

We really lucked out with having Amber as our wedding planner! All our other vendors came from recommendations she gave, and in the lead up to the wedding she was incredibly responsive every time we reached out with questions. My blood pressure immediately dropped when we talked on the phone, and we had full confidence in her for both the wedding prep and the day itself. To try to summarize our experience with Amber during our wedding doesn’t feel possible. She is too AMAZING and I have so much gratitude. We got married at a private estate in Las Vegas on 05/08/21. Planning a wedding during COVID was no easy task but she never wavered. Her presence is the one thing that kept me sane and grounded during the process. From the late night phone calls, to last minute changes, to listening to me vent, to always making me feel like her biggest priority and every little detail in between. She made me trust her by her actions and always followed through and delivered. And her eye for design is impeccable when my ideas were a scattered mess. Wedding planning was so overwhelming for me and she is everything in a planner I didn’t even know I needed. And with her guidance, we had the magazine worthy wedding of our dreams ;)

2020 is the year of the pivot. initially my partner and I were planning a destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen, MX and due to covid we had to change our plans. We decided to keep our date (10/31/2020) and get married in Vegas. We had 2 months to plan and prepare!
We had our ceremony at the Wynn Primrose Courtyard and the reception at Carson Kitchen in downtown Las Vegas. I found Amber on Instagram through beautiful pictures of a wedding reception she planned a year prior at the same venue. I loved how he decor and space transformed and knew I wanted to work with her.
She was extremely prompt with my initial inquiry and after the first conversation, it was like talking to a good friend. She knows how to make the planning process VERY manageable and has a knack for spinning everything in a positive light. As a bride who was planning from far away without ever visiting the space, I was worried about all the details, and Amber was always available via phone and text to answer my 50 million questions.
Our wedding wouldn't have been a dream come true if it wasn't for Amber. There's so much I want to rave about! For example...
-- She let me mail some items to her and brought everything to the venue, and then shipped everything back to me too!
-- She printed some wedding signs and also helped me find a projector screen very last minute and was extremely flexible with week-of and day-of changes, always being extremely positive about it all!
-- The wedding timeline was changed VERY last minute and she accommodated all our wishes and asks
-- She found our rental company and helped me think through options with the space arrangement and decor
-- She set up everything EXACTLY how I imagined in our reception venue!
-- She helped me work through issues with the reception venue to accommodate my guests according to covid guidelines (and calmed me down when I thought the reception was ruined!)
-- The day of, she was a dream to work with. She was reading my mind during every moment of the reception and effortlessly made the wedding flow without any hiccups
-- She has a natural ability to stay calm under pressure, handle crazy bridezillas (which I definitely was in some instances!), think of every small detail that would be important (yes you should buy plate chargers) and plan for every possible plan b and plan c.
THANK YOU SO MUCH AMBER! You made this the most magical wedding. I wish everyone could work with you to plan their wedding because I truly believe you are the gold standard for wedding planners and the absolute BEST.

Creates Truly Unparalleled Weddings
I did not have the "bride gene", and felt lost in planning my wedding. I literally could not have done it without Amber. It was such a relief to know we had her expertise. She took my taste and ideas into account, and evolved them into beautiful, creative results. She came up with things I would have never thought of, and worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect - from the wedding cake to the placement of the candle holders. When I saw a photo of random chairs I loved online, she scoured different vendors until she found one that actually had them. Her attention to detail and professionalism is bar none. I am so extremely happy that we hired Amber to plan our wedding. It turned out more perfect than I could have ever imagined! -

We worked with Amber this September (2025) for our wedding in Santa Ynez CA, and HIGHLY recommend (especially for events in the SY Valley or Santa Barbara) ! This was a destination wedding for us and our family, a lot of logistics and multiple events and everything went off exactly as planned. Amber has connections to everyone in the area during the planning phase and managed / executed everything to a T on the day of the event itself. She is responsive, organized, has great taste / great experience AND reasonable with cost / price. -

Laurel Sent on 01/29/2016While planning my wedding, I kept insisting that we didn’t need a wedding planner, while my mother kept insisting that we did. My mother was right. We hired Amber because of her knowledge of the area since we were having a destination wedding and it was certainly worth it. She gave us tons of tips for vendors in the area including a florist that I booked last minute after the one I had been following for months didn't pan out. On the days leading up to the wedding, she was very dedicating to understanding how I wanted the day to flow, which events were going to take place where, how the venue should be decorated. Then she took it from there and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She took care of all the decorations, the setup with the caterer and the drop off with the florist. I didn’t have to lift a finger, which my family isn’t used to. My uncle commented that he didn’t know if he could go to a wedding if he didn’t have to decorated for 5 hours beforehand. She even brought by some sparkling wine the morning of the wedding and was prepared with aspirin for my heavily hungover brothers (who were both groomsmen). The wedding flowed effortlessly thanks to her planning and gentle nudging. Thanks to her, my family and I could just relax and enjoy the trip to the wine country. Thank you Amber for making everything go so smoothly!
