Wedding planner extraordinaire
I genuinely wish I could give this review more than 5 stars. Amanda and her team went above and beyond every step of the way for our wedding. Amanda is more than just a wedding planner, she is a friend, a confidant, a designer, a voice of reason, and a true expert on all things Chicago weddings. I reached out to Amanda before I was even engaged! Thats how annoying I am! She took me venue shopping before that ring was even on my finger. She answered my many many questions before I even hired her. So when my husband did get down on one knee, she was (besides family and friends) the first call I made. I learned a lot about myself during the wedding planning process. Both good and bad things. Amanda was kind, loving, organized, and beyond helpful throughout our year long planning process. She listened to me and my fiance during the process, and truly was our sounding board. My husbands and my families are both out of town. Amanda even came with me to buy my wedding dress because my mom had went back home. I had A LOT of ideas, I mean a lot. Most were really bad. Amanda listened to all of them and then would put into perspective how reasonable they were.
She also designed our save the dates, menus, programs, yarmulkes, seating chart, napkins, favors etc. She took things to levels I didn’t even know I could achieve.
The day of the wedding was perfect. Everyone had the best time and it was so smooth. One of my bridesmaids had a wedding the following weekend and mentioned to me how disruptive and flustered it was. You truly don’t realize the good stuff until bad stuff happens.
Besides my husband, Amanda was easily the most important part of our wedding. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without her. She found all of our vendors (all of which I had an incredible experience with), thought of every detail, and was able to wrangle our crazy family and friends. I couldn’t recommend Amanda and her team more. Also quick shoutout to Annie and Taylor who were sooo helpful during the day of!-

Amazing Wedding Coordinator
Amanda Paige Events made our entire wedding planning process so much smoother. In our initial meeting, I met with Amanda, Taylor, and Annie. Amanda helped recommend vendors that fit our budget, which was such a huge help early on. From there, I worked closely with Taylor and Annie throughout planning, with regular check-ins leading up to the big day. They also handled all the vendor logistics, confirming arrival times and obtaining COIs, so we never had to stress about those details. They also provided helpful resources along the way, like a gratuity guide, info on obtaining our marriage license, and a meal count template for our caterer, which made staying organized so much easier.
On the wedding day itself, Annie and her assistants, Paige and Hannah, were incredible. They provided table numbers and helped set up all our tables with our custom menus and place cards. They also steamed my linen welcome sign without me even having to ask, set up our wedding favors, and arranged all our signage around the venue. They kept us on track with the timeline, even held my bouquet during our couples portraits when it wasn’t in use, and at the end of the night, brought all our personal items and decor back to our hotel room, which took so much stress off our plate and allowed us to truly enjoy and be present at our wedding. They also went above and beyond when our feet started hurting from our shoes and walking on a bricked path for photos - they ran back to our hotel to grab our more comfortable shoes so we could change at the end of the night.
We didn’t have to worry about a single thing once Annie and her assistants arrived. If you’re looking for a coordination team that truly takes care of everything, I cannot recommend Amanda Paige Events enough! -

Best wedding planner!
My number one recommendation to anyone planning a wedding is to hire a planner, and my number two is to make sure that planner is Amanda and her team. Planning a multi-day traditional Indian wedding for 350–400 guests felt overwhelming until I met Amanda.
I know I wasn’t the easiest bride, and our families didn’t make it easier either—but Amanda handled everything with so much patience and a “never say no” attitude. Want an ice cream cart to close out the Sangeet? Done. A cocktail-style breakfast where everyone was seated in time for my walk down the aisle? Done. Hundreds of hand-cut butterflies for my dream escort card display (perfectly alphabetized, no less)? Done. Cocktail hour on the roof? Done. Make the rain forecast magically disappear? I’m convinced that was Amanda and her team too.
Amanda, I know our wedding was a journey and that there were inevitable bumps along the way, but I will never stop being grateful for you. You and your team are the reason every guest told us our wedding “set the bar really high.” Special shoutout to Annie for being a total rockstar, too!
If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner, trust me, you want Amanda in your corner.-

We cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Amanda Paige Events. Through our wedding planning we worked with Amanda, Camille, and Annie. Camille was our day-of wedding coordinator. From the moment she stepped in, everything felt calm, organized, and completely under control. She handled every detail behind the scenes so flawlessly that we were able to fully enjoy our day without a single worry. From managing the timeline, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring our decor was set up exactly how we envisioned, Camille did an amazing job. She kept everything running smoothly, gracefully handled any last-minute changes, and was always one step ahead. Her presence allowed us, our families, and our wedding party to truly be in the moment. Camille was an absolute lifesaver and a huge part of why our wedding was everything we dreamed of -

Exactly what (and who!) we needed!
We loved working with the Amanda Paige team! Our coordinator Mimi, with additional support from Shaleen leading up to our date and Kate on the day itself, made everything a dream.
I definitely want to give a big shoutout to Amanda herself, who was the first one to take the time to meet with us and determine our needs, as well as to match us with our team. I cannot emphasize enough how much Mimi was exactly the person for us, and Amanda seemed to know that from our very first chat.
We had meetings every few months just to make sure we were tracking accordingly on big picture items, and the team was available for any questions we had.
Most of us have never done this before... so it's really nice to be able to lean on someone who has. My partner and I are not local to Chicago, so it was also vital that we had someone on the ground. Mimi had thoughts on vendors that she was able to share, and was able to stand in for us when other vendors absolutely needed someone on site. Being able to trust the timeline and management of moving our group around to Mimi (and Kate!) allowed us to stay focused and relaxed, while also allowing the wedding party and our families to enjoy themselves and not be in coordination mode.
We would trust Amanda Paige Events with our event a thousand times over! -

Amazing Wedding Coordinator!!
We worked with Amanda from APE for day-of coordination, with amazing support from Shaleen during planning and Vanessa on the big day. While technically day-of coordinators, Amanda and her team were involved well in advance and provided steady, thoughtful guidance throughout the entire planning process.
They were incredibly organized and proactive, making sure every detail was handled so we didn’t have to stress. Just as importantly, they were warm, fun, and genuinely enjoyable to work with—having them around added to the positive energy of the day. Everything felt completely seamless thanks to their behind-the-scenes work, which allowed us to fully enjoy the moment and focus on celebrating.
One standout example: when Amanda noticed my feet were hurting during the reception, she went back to the hotel to grab my sneakers—above and beyond in every way. We’re so grateful to Amanda and the whole APE team. The day was everything we hoped for, and their support played a huge role in making it happen. We can’t recommend them highly enough. -

Wedding planner review 6/8/2024
Where do I even begin about APE?! I wouldnt of survived my wedding day or planning without them. From the initial zoom call with Amanda, and Annie, I knew I was in the right hands. Coming from a VERY TYPE A bride, and knowing how Type A Amanda is, I had no doubt my wedding day would go off without a hitch. I chose the wedding coordination with an assosciate, but I still worked very closely with Amanda herself throughout the whole process. She was on every zoom call, and every email we had. Amanda and I communicated often via text, and she was there to answer any and all questions I had. Annie was responsive to emails, especially leading up to the week of. On my venue walk through Mimi was there, and really answered all my questions when it came to the timeline of the day, and where things should go. On the day of, I had the absolute honor of having Mimi and Annie there. I wouldnt of survived without them. I could cry just thinking of the day with them. Our ceremony called for rain, and it did in fact rain, but Mimi and Annie were in CONSTANT communication with my venue making sure we could wait until the very last moment to make the rain call. They eased any and all anxiety. They were there to hold my bag, my phone, make sure all the gentlemen were on schedule, and made sure the day was on time. During cocktail hour and reception, they were constantly checking on us, making sure we were all good. They were the keeper of all gifts, cards and wedding decor and made sure all of it got safely to our room at the end of the night. My husband and I look back and truly think the day would not have been what it was without them. There were no issues, or messups, at least to my knowledge, and if there were, they handled them without disrupting the bride or groom. I truly feel like APE is family to us now, and I look forward to seeing them again at my best friends wedding in September. Look no further for a wedding planner, because APE is where its at! -

The Personal Assistant Experience
APE made me feel like my wedding planning was completely under control for the whole year+ that I worked with them. On top of taking care of almost all of the admin, they provided vendor suggestions & guides, numerous planning excels, and regular catch-up meetings. I know we were one of a cohort of Katie&Matts working with APE this year, and not even the only wedding on our date, but I felt like their most VIP client the whole time.
If you have more of an ideal vibe than a clear vision, use excel as a hobby, and/or love checking things off a list without actually doing any work, APE is absolutely the right choice for you. -

Amanda is a superstar!
I truly couldn't have imagined my wedding day without her and her team! She was the glue that held our entire wedding day and planning process together. She was honest, available and thorough every time we communicated with her. Her organizational techniques and attention to detail kept us on track and ensured that we were able to enjoy our day stress free. As a type A bride I will honestly admit that I could not have pulled off planning my dream wedding without Amanda's help. We were always able to get in touch with her directly if we needed anything and she was available for our walk through and rehearsal dinner to make sure everything was covered prior to the big day. Her deep expertise helped us to establish a great timeline that was realistic and allowed us enough downtime to truly enjoy ourselves.
On our wedding day she handled everything! She popped in on all of the groups getting ready at multiple locations, got all of our decorations out of our apartment and set up flawlessly at the venue and made sure everything was packaged up and back at our hotel at the end of the night. On the morning of our wedding day, she was quick on her feet to take advantage of a better opportunity/photo spot for our first looks and was able to coordinate the slight change of plans with all of the vendors to execute it seamlessly. She always supported our vision and encouraged us to make our wedding day our own while still providing guidance where she thought she could enhance the plan.
I would not hesitate for even a second to recommend her services to any of my family and friends, as her services were everything we could have hoped for and more!-

Amanda and Annie truly went above and beyond for us! While we paid for day of coordinator service, we had monthly check ins, use of their inventory to save on table decor and card boxes, and Amanda even went the extra mile to design our invitation suite and matching ceremony programs for us. The best decision we made!
Hiring Amanda, Annie, and their team to plan our wedding was one of (if not THE) best decisions we made during our wedding planning process. Let me tell you why:
- Incredible logistics management. My husband and I had a very complex Indian fusion wedding, including a sangeet on Friday night, two different ceremonies Saturday (Indian and Western), followed by dinner and dancing Saturday night. Everything went off absolutely flawlessly thanks to Amanda’s attention to detail, planning, and strong vendor relationships
- Vendor selection. Amanda introduced us to a variety of vendors who not only matched our vision and fit within our budget, but also had personalities and styles that totally meshed with ours. She helped us create an amazing team that we were thrilled to celebrate our big day with.
- Creativity in 2 dimensions. First, Amanda has great graphic design skills. She designed our invitations, menus, signage, etc. that were all so beautiful, we had friends asking what designer we used! Second, Amanda knows how to flex a budget and come up with creative ideas to deliver on a vision while staying within bounds (example - she decorated the venue for our 160-person welcome party, complete with fresh flowers, for a fraction of the price of a professional florist).
- Passion for her business and her clients. A big part of why our wedding was so great was because Amanda and her team poured their whole selves into it. They over-delivered on our contract and invested so much into their relationship with us. Through this process, we gained not just a great planner team but great friends too!
It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for the APE team. We would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone getting married soon! -

Made Our Dream Wedding A Reality
We can't imagine our wedding going as well as it did without the guidance and coordination of Amanda Paige Events. Taylor was the planner we worked with and she was awesome! She's a great listener and knew how to walk us through the process to get everything we wanted. We also had Hannah on the day of the wedding and she was super helpful and a pleasure to work with. Amanda is the BEST!
If you are looking for an event planner - stop and book Amanda right this second. There aren't enough words to describe how AMAZING Amanda is - I'm not kidding my wedding would not have happened without her patience, killer ideas, and planning skills. She truly brings her heart and soul to every meeting, call, text, and of course the wedding weekend. She single handedly helped me replan our wedding in a different state within two months and didn't even bat an eye. The moment I told her we were moving the wedding location, she had five venues ready for us to see the next day. Who does that??? She went above and beyond her job responsibilities to make our day perfect and I can't imagine using anyone else. Great experience!
worked with Amanda and her team for my September 2022 wedding in Sonoma County, California. Amanda and her team were fantastic to work with and I highly recommend you hire them. Amanda is creative, organized, personable, and excellent at what she does.
Throughout the initial planning process, Amanda helped us feel at ease, especially given that I had never planned a wedding before. She laid out everything we needed to do, researched vendors, provided us options, and helped us find vendors that were right for us. This is something that I really loved-- she helped guide us, but didn't force anything, allowing us to figure out what worked for us.
Amanda has great taste and during our planning process worked with me to figure out what my vision was. Each wedding that she does is customized and she worked with me to bring my vision to reality.
Finally, Amanda really went above and beyond to help manage the stress and everything else that goes along with planning a wedding. We couldn't have done it without her!
Not only did Amanda plan an amazing wedding, but she also executed it seamlessly. Our wedding was our dream wedding. Everything was beautiful, every vendor that she chose outperformed our expectations, and it was a perfect day. When I walked into our ceremony and dinner, I was beyond happy to see my exact vision but better.
While her creativity and planning were an important part of making this happen, so was her organization and event execution skills. She seamlessly executed our entire wedding weekend for four days. Not only did this make it a perfect weekend but it also allowed us to fully enjoy our weekend.
Amanda also brought two of her team members, Vanessa and Annie to help manage our wedding weekend. They were a pleasure to work with. Helpful, positive, organized, and went above and beyond to bring great energy and make the weekend great.

The Best of the Best!
Where to begin… From the moment I got engaged I found myself beyond overwhelmed with all the options, budget considerations and the seemingly never-ending list of to-dos. I spoke to a number of planners that told me I’d never be able to have the wedding of my dreams within my desired budget. Then came Amanda. She instantly calmed my nerves with a kind but “in charge” attitude that I can best describe as having a cool, older sister that knows the answer to everything! Not only was Amanda such a great partner throughout the wedding process, she came through with the best vendor and design recommendations. By the time the wedding day came around, Amanda and her team felt more like our friends than our wedding vendors, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Don’t think twice about booking Amanda. The Perfect Wedding Planner and Support System
Do not look any further, Amanda and the rest of the APE team are the best of the best! We booked Amanda and her team almost 2 years before our wedding after immediately feeling connect to her energy and style during our initial conversation. We booked her “Wedding Coordination” package which meant that I booked the vendors myself, but Amanda and her team were always there as my second set of eyes for opinions, recommendations, questions, etc! Cate and Annie were the two other members of her team I worked with throughout and they were both fabulous! We started regular touch bases 12 month out from our wedding, and they made sure everything was running smoothly! From giving us resources to use, ensuring we had our homework and keeping us on track. Attentive through and through!
Where do we even begin? We would absolutely never have been able to have the wedding of our dreams without Amanda and her team. We first contacted Amanda 2 months after our engagement - at that point, we had spoken with several other wedding planners in the city who promised us that we would never be able to have the wedding we wanted without a budget 2x what we had planned for. In tears, I called Amanda (who was still on maternity leave after giving birth to her cutie Shay) and her demeanor and level of calmness was immediately a warm hug- she assured us we would have the wedding of our dreams. I knew then we were in good hands and we trusted her immediately. She knew the vibe we were going for right off the bat and went above and beyond to make that happen even at a venue that was completely new to her. She has an eye for the smallest details and is absolutely not phased by anything (for a high anxiety bride this is crucial). She tackles challenges head on and her network within the industry lead us to some of our absolute favorite vendors. We would do this process 100x over if we could work with her to do it. She, Annie, and Taylor are absolute gems and the best in the business. -

The most perfect day thanks to the APE Team!
Do not look any further, Amanda and the rest of the APE team are the best of the best! We booked Amanda and her team almost 2 years before our wedding after immediately feeling connect to her energy and style during our initial conversation. We booked her “Wedding Coordination” package which meant that I booked the vendors myself, but Amanda and her team were always there as my second set of eyes for opinions, recommendations, questions, etc! Cate and Annie were the two other members of her team I worked with throughout and they were both fabulous! We started regular touch bases 12 month out from our wedding, and they made sure everything was running smoothly! From giving us resources to use, ensuring we had our homework and keeping us on track. The best!!
We loved our experience with APE. Amanda hopped on a call with me right away and talked through each vendor we had already booked and everything we still needed to do. We ended up booking coordination with an associate (we love Vanessa) but Amanda was available for any and all questions along the way. Vanessa was so helpful on all our check in calls and made sure we were staying on track. Vanessa ran our rehearsal quickly and efficiently - not necessarily an easy task with a large and chatty wedding party. She showed up at the perfect time on the wedding day to check in with everyone and help keep us moving on schedule. We had extra time to take a breath before the ceremony which was really nice. Our ceremony started a little late so that we could wait for some family members that were delayed and by dinner time we were right back on schedule. Vanessa and Annie not only beautifully set up our centerpieces exactly how I hoped they would look, but also packed everything up and brought it back to our hotel room. That made the end of the night so easy for us. Overall they made it possible for Ethan and I to be so present on our wedding day which was all we could hope for. Thank you for everything!!! -

Amazing team, amazing people - book ape!
Amanda and her team at APE deserve more than 5 stars, they exceeded all my expectations! As a meticulous and detail-oriented person - I was very particular about who I was going to hand over the wedding planning to/day of coordination. However, from the moment I spoke to Amanda, I felt like I was talking to a friend who truly understood my vision.
Throughout the entire process, Amanda's expertise and ability to navigate every detail put me at ease. She made the planning fun and enjoyable, and her team executed everything flawlessly.
I must also give a big shout-out to Annie for staying until my sparkler exit at midnight. Amanda and her team truly went above and beyond, and I can't recommend them enough. If you're looking for the best, look no further - book APE for your wedding.

The best wedding planner!
My husband and I started working with Amanda almost two years before our wedding day because of Covid and every moment was fantastic. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to wedding planning. I am not someone who usually gets excited about flowers or place settings, and I remember after our first vision meeting with Amanda telling my parents I felt like I was “planning my wedding in first class.” Amanda curated the experience for us in a way that made everything fun. She got us right away and never tried to push anything we weren’t comfortable with or not into. She had amazing ideas that were individualized to us and reflected the type of environment we wanted to build. I felt like I could talk to her like a friend, but she also always remained professional and took her job extremely seriously.
Despite liking Amanda as a person and enjoying the process with her, she executed a fantastic and seamless event. First, the team of vendors she assembled were truly first class. There are so many moving parts in a wedding and so many people to manage. I was honestly never stressed about anything not going according to plan because the vendors she recommended were so buttoned up and she had worked with them all previously. (You can work with any vendors you want. We just chose to only work with people she had worked with and recommended for us based on what we were looking for.) Second, Amanda and her team kept us on schedule and moving through the wedding day itself. We had a big wedding party (20+ people) and most of our plans had to change on the fly due to a massive downpour. Amanda and her team (Annie & Taylor) handled everything, so I didn’t have to look at my phone or a watch once and could just enjoy the day. Thirdly, she drove us an hour outside of Chicago to meet with our caterer for a signature cocktail tasting to ensure we had tasted everything our guests would be served: truly above and beyond. Lastly, Amanda designed a TON of amazing things for us (invitations, menus, seating charts, etc.) She literally drew our favorite locations for our seating chart because we wanted our tables to be named after meaningful locations. This level of decor/stationary creation is usually another huge expense, so it made her rate feel even more reasonable.
I would highly recommend Amanda and her team to plan any wedding regardless of size, budget, or style. We have already recommended her to our friends beginning the process. She not only made our wedding dreams a reality, but she helped us create something beyond what we ever thought possible. -

Couldn't have done it without Amanda!
We engaged Amanda Paige Events to assist with partial full planning services for our May 2023 wedding. Wedding planning, coordination & organization is no joke, and we could not have done it without Amanda! Over 18 months, Amanda worked closely with us through vendor selection process including reviewing vendor contracts, articulating our vision, bringing the design to life, ultimately to our beautiful day!
Personally, I was overwhelmed by the decisions, timelines, details that needed to be made & when. Whenever there was any question, Amanda was a text away. She consistently checked-in, we held our scheduled touchpoints (and plenty of ad-hoc - for my sanity), and it never felt like there was not a point at which she was not involved or invested. Amanda could tell I was struggling to envision all of the floral/decor details and set-up an in person decor viewing to put my mind at ease and finalize decisions. She generously created (and sketched) our welcome insert for our guest bags. There are so many details where she went above and beyond before our wedding day even arrived.
On our wedding day - I could not have been more thankful Amanda, Annie & Mimi were by our side! Truly, there was not a single detail that went unnoticed, or not as planned. The organization, communication and support the day of, put our minds at ease. She pulled my mom aside for special sneak peeks of our room reveal, and made moments special for our families.
Over the 18 months of our 'working relationship', we gained a friend and could not have been more impressed by the culmination of all of Amanda & her team's hard work coming together. We had the most perfect day, ever! -

Truly Type-A Bride Approved!!
Amanda is such a rockstar wedding planner and coordinator! I knew she would be the perfect planner for me when I saw that her Instagram said "Type-A bride approved." I can personally vouch that this is 1000% true. In the build up, she helped us tie several loose ends with our vendors, coordinated the walkthrough and dialed us in so that we could attend virtually. She is always readily available to help and offered her thoughtful inputs (but knew when to step back and let us make the final call) at our food tasting, bridal hair trial and groom's suit/tuxedo selection.
On the day of, she kept the event moving along seamlessly, with master shepherding of vendors and various guests. She coordinated the rehearsal, ensuring everyone (the couple, the parents, the officiant as well as the DJ, the photo/videographer) knew their roles well. She ensured the couple had a plate of appetizers ready before cocktail hour, which we appreciated. She kept the group photos moving along, while also respecting the wishes of the family to have photos taken with various permutations of family members and on different phones in addition to the wedding photographer. We also had a slight mix-up with our cake vendor, which she managed effortlessly.
Amanda's assistant, Annie, was amazing on the day-of, as well! She coordinated with the groom and his family in the build-up to the ceremony, ensuring they knew when to be where for the photos and first look etc. She also ensured we didn't have to worry about anything during the actual ceremony, taking care to ensure that all the gifts / jewelry etc. were collected and transported seamlessly between the ceremony and party venues. She even came prepared with band-aids to save the day with an unexpected blister :)
Amanda and her team really think of everything and help make the day run seamlessly without any worries for the bride, groom or their families. We are so grateful that we had her and her team on our day!! -

Hiring Amanda and her APE team was the easiest and best decision we made for our wedding. During our first conversation, I knew Amanda was special because of the way she was interested in us as a couple, in our vision for our day, and how honest and ambitious she was about making things work on the budget we gave her. She quickly latched onto the already strong vision we had for our wedding day, and enhanced it with every step. She went above and beyond throughout the planning process to connect us (usually on the FIRST recommendation) with vendors that provided exactly what we'd dreamt of - one of them even told me that they consider Amanda a "matchmaker" because of her ease in connecting couples with the perfect vendors for their wedding by matching their communication style, overall vibe, and vision. I couldn't agree more! Her creativity is unmatched in finding the best ways to stretch a budget, prioritize things that are important, and ditch what's not. She makes you feel seen, heard, understood, and is always a quick text away - even if you just need some morale support! On the day of our wedding, Amanda, Taylor, Vanessa, and Annie did a fantastic job taking us through the day with ease. We had some last minute timeline changes and without batting an eye, the team was well-communicated and ready to move things around so that everything went smoothly for us and our families. Truly your Advocate, Champion, and Friend Through The Process
Even before getting engaged, the number one advice I received from wives and husbands was to get a planner for our wedding. I took this advice to heart when I got engaged to my now husband. I’m so glad I did because Amanda and her team were absolutely essential to ensure our wedding was amazing for me, my husband, and our guests.
In fact, our wedding was perfect.
From the moment we had our first call with Amanda, she was attentive to our specific wants and needs as a couple. She embraced our vision and ideas, and always encouraged us to do what WE wanted, not because our families were pressuring us to go in a certain direction. She matched us with an amazing total vendor team that met our budget needs and quality/look we were looking for. Any worries we had on wild card guests was always met with a plan from Amanda on how to be proactive, or tackle them in the moment. She really was our rock through the entire planning process and day of wedding.
Which leads me to the day of the wedding. As I said, it was perfect. Her assistants, Annie and Hannah, were amazing. I’m not sure if anything went wrong on the day of the wedding because they were so on top of everything and scheduling. I truly just had to show up and soak up being a bride for the day.
When I think of our 2 year planning partnership with Amanda, I am so thankful. She was organized, proactive, professional, authentic, and genuine. She is a gem, and number one in what she does.-

Where to begin! HUGE thank you Amanda and her team (Annie too!), for helping us navigate the best day ever! Yes, did I forget key details? (AKA the rings and invites and where the Xavier flag was?)... yup. Did Amanda traverse up 4 flights to our apartment to get them? YES! Amanda was outstanding!
Amanda guided us from start to finish and was so helpful, especially as the wedding grew near. It was such a sigh of relief to have someone with so much experience answering all of our questions. We were outside of the Chicago area but Amanda still managed to work with all of our St. Louis vendors and even came to visit 6 months before the wedding. The big day was perfect and Amanda was at the center of it all keeping things on schedule, organized, and easy for us to enjoy our wedding.
Amanda always encouraged us to do what was best for us, and did not push any standards or traditions on us. Her experience with Jewish, interfaith, and other types of weddings was especially helpful to us as we designed a wedding around two faiths.

Best planner
Before I got engaged, I knew I wanted Amanda to be my wedding planner. When we finally met, I knew we had made the right choice. I am Type A and love to plan but knew I did not have the time to plan a wedding without a planner. Amanda was there for me throughout the entire wedding process. During venue tours, she could read my reactions and knew when it wasn't the right place. She worked with our budget and actually saved us a lot of money. She listened to what we needed and made sure it could happen day of. On the day of our wedding, she handled everything. We did not worry about anything. Shannon, Amanda's staff, was assigned to directly working with me. She kept track of all my stuff and got me where I needed to be! Vanessa, Amanda's staff, worked with my husband. She was a saint and dealt with a group of guys making sure they were on time. Amanda worked with all the vendors to make our day perfect. When there was hiccup with one of our vendors, she worked to resolve it. Our wedding was perfect. There is not one thing we would change and we owe that to Amanda. We do not believe anyone should plan a wedding without Amanda. -

The BEST decision we made for our wedding!
Amanda was the first vendor I reached out to after we got engaged, the first contract we signed and by far one of the best decisions we made leading up to our big day! The partial planning package was not only very reasonably priced for the value (and compared to other planners), but it allowed us to have the support of a visionary like Amanda to help make our wedding day dreams come to life! She partnered with us from the very beginning- locking in and coordinating with other vendors, getting our budget in place, ensuring everything on the big day was squared away... she was our right-hand lady! Amanda is so thoughtful, kind and really loves her clients, that all shows through her work.
Amanda was always a phone call or a text away, at any time of day. She communicated so consistently and was always a few steps ahead. She was on maternity leave for 6 weeks leading up to our wedding, but being the amazing type-A planner that she is, she communicated the plans for her absence well in advance, everything was ready before she took her well deserved time away with the baby and her team was there for me if we needed them.
Amanda and her team built a day of schedule that was so seamless, had every last detail managed and kept us all on time and on track -- there was nothing left for us to do than to enjoy our wedding day with friends and family! We absolutely loved having Amanda help with our wedding! We opted to have her as our day-of coordinator to help things run smoothly, which they totally did. Amanda is extremely organized and supportive but also strikes a balance with offering her opinions where needed. I was the kind of bride who needed someone to keep her wild ideas in check sometimes, and Amanda did just that. She can definitely "read the room" and adapt plans as needed. I am a pretty uptight person, so I seriously couldn't believe that I was actually able to relax and enjoy my day. If you don't hire Amanda to help with your wedding, you are making a mistake. -

Amanda Paige Events made our wedding process the absolute BEST! Amanda's care for her couples goes unmeasured and she truly was with us for every step of the process. Her recommendations for vendors and her mastery in working with the vendors were amazing and ensured that we stayed within our budget and never settled for less than our dream day. Amanda Paige Events was the perfect choice for day-of-coordination for our Chicago wedding. She actually starts working with you a few months in advance to understand your plans and goes above and beyond to get to know her couples. She even came with me to my final dress fitting to make sure she knew how to bustle my dress! On the actual day, Amanda showed up bright and early to steam my dress, and from then on I knew I was not going to have to think about anything & could really focus on enjoying every moment of a fantastic day. Best Decision of My Wedding (besides marrying my husband)
If Amanda Paige events is available, book Amanda and her team IMMEDIATELY! This was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. We had a small wedding (50 people, due to COVID) and initially thought we could get away without having a day of coordinator for our wedding. It became obvious during the planning process that we needed help. The stress relief I felt after meeting with Amanda for the first time was immediately noticeable to my now husband. I got to see her in action a couple of months before my wedding at a wedding I was a bridesmaid in and I knew that I had made the right decision. The communication leading up to the wedding day was excellent and it was because of Amanda and her assistant coordinator, Vanessa, that my wedding day ran perfectly. I am someone who worries about things running on time and I was able to forget about all of that on my wedding day. Amanda and Vanessa took care of all of the details, so I could focus on enjoying the day. Amanda even helped us coordinate with her dog walker to dog sit for us and bring our puppy for photos! She and her team went above and beyond and I cannot recommend APE enough. -

Amanda was a dream coordinator to work with for our wedding, and one of the major reasons everything came together so well! Seriously, if you're on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator, DO IT. We were so lucky to be able to work with Amanda. She helped us navigate everything from changing COVID restrictions, a newly instated mask mandate, dress alteration worries and everything in between. She handled every detail so thoughtfully, crafted us a beautiful timeline, ensured everything was where it should be and helped the day stay on track. As someone who is a Type A planner by trade, Amanda really helped me just enjoy the day because I knew she had ALL the details covered. Also, she's just SO fun to work with, and kept our crazy, large and (at times) unruly bridal party on track and where they were supposed to be. We couldn't have pulled it off without her!!-

Truly Incredible!
We cannot recommend Amanda enough for wedding coordination! We were originally hesitant to hire a Wedding Coordinator, but it was hands down the best decision we made! When anything went wrong leading up to the wedding, she was there to listen and help immediately. She went above and beyond every step of the way! She has so many connections in the industry, so she was able to recommend multiple vendors that were all incredible. Not only is Amanda amazing at what she does, but she was also such a calming force during planning and on our wedding day which made us so much less nervous. Amanda brought an additional day of coordinator, Mimi, who was so so helpful. It worked out great since our ceremony was at the church so Mimi was able to help at the ceremony while Amanda made sure everything at the venue was perfect. Best Choice I Could Have Made!
I contacted Amanda after a few months of attempting to plan my wedding myself during a pandemic, and the relief I found was not only instantaneous, but also well surpassed my expectations. I thought I wanted a day-of coordinator, and that I’d be able to handle the rest, but after speaking with Amanda for the first time over the phone, I knew I needed her by my side from that point forward. I selected the “Partial Wedding Planning” package, and found that Amanda went above and beyond each step of the way. Amanda did everything I needed a planner to do – reminded me of deadlines, checked in when she knew I was hesitant about something, coordinated everything with each vendor, and organized and reorganized as the pandemic took different shapes. She was excellent at anticipating my needs, and also took a step beyond meeting job expectations and truly made my engagement a special time. She was with me when I picked out my bridesmaids dresses, stopped by my bridal shower to say hello and introduce herself to my close family, and visited the hotel the night before the wedding to make sure I was doing okay. I cannot emphasize the goodness of her humanity enough. I was always aware that I was the first full client for Amanda Paige Events, which might have made some people nervous, but something about Amanda made me feel safe from the start. I was thrilled to support this entrepreneur, and have been carefully crafting my review because I was so impressed by her (and her team!) that I needed to make sure I encapsulated her elegance, intellect, and talent for anyone who reads this. Wedding planning is not a job for everyone, and Amanda has really found her true calling. From starting her business in 2020 to earning the “Best of The Knot” Award for 2021, her work speaks for itself. We love Amanda Paige Events!!
Working with Amanda Paige Events was the best decision of our whole wedding planning process. We worked with her team over 2.5 years of rescheduling, canceling, and dealing with the wedding planning process in the pandemic. My husband and I are both pretty organized people and have had experience with planning events, so we didn't really understand how a wedding coordinator would be that vital. We have never been more wrong and immediately after we got back to our room at the end of the night, told each other how wrong we were and how grateful we were for working with APE and having Mimi by our side that day.
When we finally got close to our final wedding date in August of 2021, we started talking with Mimi, our Day of Coordinator at APE. Mimi was the most responsive, organized, kind-hearted, and talented person we could have had by our side during the day. She asked all the right questions leading up to the wedding, kept us on schedule during the whole day, and magically was always there when we needed her. She had everything in her backpack that we could possibly need, and had answers to any questions we had that whole day!
Thank you to Amanda, Mimi, and the whole APE team. We are forever grateful for your hard work and dedication to making our wedding day what it was. We're thankful that we had the most talented team by our side. -

Amanda is great
Friends referred Amanda to us and we are in debt to them for it. Our wedding had gone through multiple plans due to Covid and this summer we finally were able to do it and Amanda was able to pull it all together quickly and create a seamless event that was a truly memorable. In short order Amanda handled communication with a variety of vendors (floral, photography, DJ) we had contracted with and set us up with additional vendors we had not (transportation, dessert, dog assistance for pictures and night of). She also helped make all the right calls about what was needed for the ceremony. We had total confidence in Amanda which made the day enjoyable. We highly, highly recommend her! -

Run dont walk and hire amanda
If you are looking for an event planner - stop and book Amanda right this second. There aren't enough words to describe how AMAZING Amanda is - I'm not kidding my wedding would not have happened without her patience, killer ideas, and planning skills. She truly brings her heart and soul to every meeting, call, text, and of course the wedding weekend. She single handedly helped me replan our wedding in a different state within two months and didn't even bat an eye. The moment I told her we were moving the wedding location, she had five venues ready for us to see the next day. Who does that??? She went above and beyond her job responsibilities to make our day perfect and I can't imagine using anyone else. Incredible Service
We can not recommend Amanda highly enough. As wedding planning can go in the era of a pandemic, there can be some hiccups - some larger than others. Throughout them all - Amanda was so incredibly helpful in navigating them.
Our vendors would regularly tell us things such as “your wedding planner has been in contact - you’re in good hands”. Throughout the entire planning phase, she was quietly in constant communication with all vendors, which became obvious on the day of the wedding.
We had a few things we forgot to bring to the hotel to the hotel we stayed at for our wedding, and she came by early in the morning to drop off anything we needed. She helped guide us through nuances, etiquette, and procedural complexities that come with planning a wedding.
On the day of, Amanda was our clock. She had a detailed timeline made - one she did her best to abide by, and encouraged our vendors to do the same. One thing that really impressed us was her demeanor and professionalism throughout the wedding day. If there was a sense of urgency to meet a time deadline, it was *never* expressed in distress to either us or our guests - only to the appropriate people with the appropriate urgency needed to hit our goal.
Importantly, Amanda is just a kind and friendly presence. She was just a pleasure to have around both to us and our family. She only added to the positive vibes on a day filled with love and excitement.
Overall - Amanda is regimented, adaptable, calm, persistent, and a genuinely great person - who happens to be a hell of an event planner. We’re excited to give her our highest recommendation, and are truly grateful to her for giving us the mental freedom to sincerely take in and appreciate the day. -

Exceeds expectations
I dont know how to put into words how amazing Amanda is but I’ll try. From day one she went above and beyond, I always knew she was a text away if I needed anything. We had to move our venue 40 days before the wedding due to covid and she made it so easy and walked us through every step of it. I couldn’t have been more relaxed on my wedding weekend because I knew she had it handled. That’s really all a bride can ask for, to be able to soak in the day and know everything is handled. Finally, when I accidentally cut my new husbands lip with the cake cutter (face palm), she ran out and got super glue for someone to glue it back together…when I say she will handle anything, I mean anything!! Amanda was the best decision I made about my wedding, if you hire her you will not regret it for a minute. -

Best Wedding Planner!
We cannot overstate how amazing Amanda from Amanda Paige Events was with coordinating our wedding day. Not only did she keep us sane on the day, but her up front coordination with all of our vendors was truly extraordinary. Amanda took care of everyone (food, DJ, Video, Venue, etc.) making sure they knew what we wanted and where/when to be at all times. The best part of the whole experience with Amanda was receiving the customized schedule she created. It had everything laid out perfectly, and even when something inevitably got off track (unruly wedding party for example) Amanda never skipped a beat, making sure to have flexibility in the schedule to accommodate. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention she drove all of the flowers and décor down from Chicago to our venue in St. Louis, now that is true dedication! We cannot recommend Amanda enough to anyone looking to make their happiest day even better! -

The best coordinator there is.
Amanda was such an incredibly coordinator. When my wedding venue cancelled on us 30 days out she was there to assist with any questions, provide input and listen as I tried to make sense of the chaos. She put me at ease knowing that even with all of the changes everything would be perfect - which it was thanks to her. She thought of everything and made me feel so supported through this process. If you want someone who is rooting for you and your to be spouse then look no further - she is your gal!

Amanda was incredible
I was originally against hiring a planner for our 20 person, backyard wedding. But Amanda was absolutely incredible. She became a real partner in planning and evolving our themes, colors and the entire feel of the event. With a vision set, Amanda turned it to reality by bringing in an extensive network of vendors and support staff. On the day of the wedding, Amanda really took all the stress of me and my wife. She managed timelines, got us where we needed to be and let us focus on each other. If/when we do a vow renewal, our first call will be to Amanda. -

Amazing Wedding Coordination Team - Cannot Recommend them Enough!
Amanda and her team are amazing!!!!! I reached out to Amanda about three weeks before my re-planned Covid wedding in August, and almost instantly she made me feel heard and peaceful! She jumped right in to finalize last minute vendors, create our wedding timeline and find us an amazing day of coordinator, Shannon!
We met for tacos and right away, I could tell how excited and professional she was and that carried us through to our exit off of our wedding boat! Amanda was there on Friday to go through our rehearsal, there the morning of my wedding to drop off champagne and help with last minute wedding tasks, and was there at the end of the night to support Shannon! Shannon was our day of coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing! She handled everything we threw at her with calmness and grace! She even bustled my dress when my mom and sister were no where to be found! She there for me when I was feeling seasick and was there to bring my husband and I cake at the end of the night when we realized we didn't eat any.
Amanda even sent over cookies to our home when she realized we didn't get to eat any on the boat!
Amanda and her team are amazing, and if you need a rockstar team to support you and make you feel less crazy, hire them!! I cannot thank them enough for supporting us through a crazy planning time crunch and an amazing wedding day!! Thank you!! -

Amazing wedding planner!
Amanda is amazing. She helped us put together a wedding in 4 weeks. She went above and beyond. The outcome was spectacular and the best part was she took care of everything. Amazing Party Planner
Amanda is extremely professional! She helped me plan my son's rehearsal dinner for over 100 people. She worked with the restaurant ensuring an incredible meal within budget. She also did all the evites and kept track of the responses. She coordinated transportation for our out of town guests from the hotel to the restaurant and back. She decorated the tables beautifully and made the seating arrangement table to coordinate. She truly did an extraordinary job and will definitely use her again and highly recommend her! She’s personable and extremely caring and is very focused on details. Nothing was overlooked and the evening was spectacular. -

Amanda did such an incredible job helping us to plan our wedding! She was there for us from day one, always checking in and available to give advice or answer questions at any time. She provided us early on with a detailed budget and timeline which were extremely helpful in keeping us on track during the planning process. Great coordinator!
We hired Amanda Paige Events for day-of coordination for our wedding in January 2022. She worked closely with us and our photographer to develop a great timeline, communicated directly with all other vendors leading into the wedding so we didn't have to, leading the rehearsal, then perfectly executed on wedding day. She immediately took on the task of gathering vaccine information from vendors when the mandate went into effect two weeks before our wedding, and seamlessly handled several last-minute changes to our timeline and seating arrangements leading into it, including an addition of a guest with less than 24 hours to go! Several vendors went out of their way to privately mention to us how on top of it Amanda was and how good it was to work with her, which I thought was saying a lot since they have worked with a lot more wedding coordinators than I have! Everything went so smoothly on wedding day, including transportation to and from the venue, decorating for the ceremony, executing a room flip to the reception, then toasts and speeches during the reception. It was all done behind the scenes by Amanda and her assistant without any stress on us, and everything worked so well. She also provided several decorations for our ceremony and reception, which was a big help and cost saver to us since we don't live in Chicago, so a lot less we had to worry about bringing on the trip! Her assistant, Brooke, was super helpful in her assignment to wrangle the groom and groomsmen as they were getting ready, including putting on all their boutonnieres since we didn't know how, and keeping everyone in line and on schedule all night. It was great to have two of them throughout the event, especially when they were both coordinating two groups at the same time! -
