The Altamont Manor is one of those places that wraps you with the warmth and nostalgia of times long ago. Stepping onto the grounds feels like a journey back to an era of gentility and grace. As someone who was privileged to work here when it was renowned for fine dining, I was moved to see that it is now an impeccable wedding venue.  Restoring a treasure like Altamont Manor while preserving its rich history and maintaining its character is incredibly difficult. It has been done meticulously and with great care. The wrap around porch with the dramatic arched entry, and the gardens of iris and hydrangeas providing the backdrop for once in a lifetime photographs, the views for miles and the gentility of another era all come together as a place where memories are cherished and new ones are lovingly crafted.

We scheduled at the Altamont Manor with Harvey (the owner) back in January and had our pick of the litter for wedding dates. We chose September and couldn’t have been happier. With the Manor you have many options of having the actual wedding ceremony outside, inside or on the deck-area. So if it DID rain, we had 2 backup plans. Luckily the weather was PERFECT and we had it outside down by the little fountain. Theres stairs but also wheelchair access for anyone who needs it. Inside and out… this was important for some of our relatives. Our guest list we tried to keep small-ish at about 46people. The manor could EASILY host double that. Maybe for gigantic 150+ people you may be crowded inside the reception hall, but if its a nice day then people will be outside, inside and all over the place… not just packed into one spot. Harvey is very flexible with all that you require. Not only that but he provides lists of vendors that have worked very well with the manor in the past. The lists are broken up into price ranges which was incredibly helpful for us. We were trying to cut costs as much as possible so ultimately went with a buffet style brunch on a sunday and chose to be our own florists :D But everything worked out well and our food vendor knew this place inside and out. The Manor offers a kitchen for them and generous space inside for setting up eating tables, buffet area and theres room for a dance floor as well. The Altamont Manor comes with a sound system for free, though just 1 very powerful speaker, but will get the dance vibes going. Theres plenty of ability to do sound system hookups or a band to really get things going. Harvey also walked us through the practice the day before the ceremony as well as we used his services for our photography (he offers a discount if you book there and use his photography business). Its like a 1 stop shop between that and his help with the vendors. Made things very easy and a lot less stressful. Honestly, its a 10/10 kind of place. We looked at getting married at other cheaper venues, barns, hotels, but nothing gave that “wedding” vibe or was toooo much work with tooo many vendors to get up and running (im looking at you barns!). This place smashes that wedding vibe out of the park. Wonderful, wonderful experience. Seriously, check out the manor!

I cannot recommend Altamont Manor enough for your wedding venue. Harvey was so incredible to work with and helped us every step of the way. The grounds are just gorgeous and our guests absolutely loved the experience of being on the grounds. We are so thankful to have had our special day here and highly recommend you do the same!

We pulled off the wedding of our dreams at Altamont Manor. The grounds and building are so beautifully maintained and served as the backdrop for gorgeous photos we will treasure forever. Our out-of-town guests were so impressed with the breathtaking views of the mountains and fall foliage. The garden and manor are both accessible for guests with disabilities, which was a big priority for us. Owner Harvey is a true wedding pro -- his thoroughness and attention to detail kept our event going smoothly. His list of approved caterers is excellent. Pricing was incredibly reasonable given the popularity of our location and date. If you're looking for a fairytale celebration in a unique setting with lots of historic charm, this is it!

The Altamont Manor is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. Harvey and his team are a pleasure to work with and made our day run smoothly. They think of every aspect, and can guide you through the whole process. The garden is absolutely beautiful, and elevates the pictures and guest experience. Its unique design made our wedding so special.

My new husband and I originally chose Altamont Manor for the amount of options for our day that were available. The backyard area as well as the rooms inside were beautiful and came in handy when it was cold and wet outside on our day. Even though the first choice for our ceremony wasn’t available we still had a beautiful day. The owner, coordinator, and photographer Harvey took special care to make sure our day went smoothly despite the weather, and worked with our other vendors to make sure we had everything we wanted. While he was more particular and slightly pushy with some of the details than I needed him to be, it is obvious that he knows how to put together a beautiful day.

The Altamont Manor itself is gorgeous, a mansion-turned-restaurant-turned-wedding-venue that packs a lot of character into every corner. The very wide veranda was great for gathering guests before and after the ceremony, and almost became the ceremony site itself when rainy skies were projected all week. But the clouds cleared up that morning, and we got to do our fully outdoor ceremony on the spacious garden lawn. Inside, the bar/lounge is a cool, quiet room right on the other side of the dance floor, which was plenty wide for all our wedding guests to join a line dance, even with a full band set up on one end and a catered buffet on the other. Step down two steps and you're in a big dining area, which easily accommodated our ~75 guests, with lots of natural light coming in the tall windows overlooking a stunning mountain landscape.

But when you pick the Altamont Manor, what you're really getting is Harvey, a man with 800 weddings under his belt, and a great story to learn from for each. We knew we wanted something different for our wedding, and Harvey turned our wild ideas into practical advice - instead of nudging us back onto the beaten path, he helped us think through the logistics of the wedding we wanted to have. So that band mentioned above - that was the wedding party (including the bride and groom) - and Harvey facilitated the whole ordeal, picking the right place to play from, letting us come by the day before to set up and rehearse, and ushering our guests inside after cocktails so we could surprise them by entering with instruments.

We can't overstate how supportive and flexible Harvey was. When we said we wanted our elderly grandmothers to be the flower girls, Harvey suggested setting up extra seats at the back in case they needed to rest before walking down the aisle. When a friend painted a custom backdrop for our photobooth, Harvey helped us pick where to set it up. When we decided our centerpieces would be origami, Lego, and tissue paper flowers, Harvey rolled with it, and when we said we wanted guests to arrive early to CRAFT those floral centerpieces WITH us, Harvey offered up some folding tables to give them a place to do it. (And when the bride's father surprised us with freshly cut lilacs, Harvey even supplied an emergency vase to display them in!)

Our wedding was incredibly DIY, but instead of "do it yourself", Harvey's attitude was always, "here's how we can make that work". You don't realize this when you get engaged, but bringing dozens of your closest friends and family together for a big party is a big task. Harvey Vlahos helped us break it down into achievable pieces without us abandoning the whimsical weirdness that made it OUR wedding. We truly can't imagine getting married anywhere else.

I booked with Harvey at the Altamont Manor for my daughter's baby shower late April 2025. It was PERFECT! The venue was beautiful, elegant and spacious for the 55 guests in attendance. There is nothing but accolades to Harvey and Donna for making an important event so special.

Altamont Manor is full of charm and unique beauty. We intended to have our ceremony outside by the fountain, but due to rain we held it on the wrap around porch instead. It was a very intimate and sweet ceremony, and the porch was giving "Pride & Prejudice" vibes.
The reception hall is lovely, with big windows which let in a lot of light. We had 60 guests and were more than comfortable using the lower half of the reception space.
Harvey, the owner, is very helpful. He helped make sure everything ran smoothly the day of, and leading up he was very thorough in his communication.
It was a wonderful experience. If you want a magical, slightly whimsical, start to your marriage, I recommend Altamont Manor. I wouldn't change a thing.

This venue is magical. The grounds are beautiful and pristine, well-kept by Mr. Harvey and his crew. Harvey was an incredible day-of-coordinator, making sure everything ran smoothly, telling everyone where to go and what to do. He was a life saver, and his calm and collected demeanor kept everyone feeling at ease. He went above and beyond to give us a professional and easy experience! From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception– it was all perfect. I am so glad we chose Altamont Manor. I got so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was inside and out, and repeatedly was told it was a "fairytale wedding!" I couldn't agree more. Thank you Harvey and your team for making our wedding dreams come true.

Harvey and his team at Altamont Manor are very responsive and flexible. I called a week before the wedding I was to officiate to get the lay of the property and the flow of the day. Harvey took the time to go over everything with me and it made all the difference on the big day. The venue was clean inside and out, and felt very warm and welcoming. Harvey, while very kind, was also very professional and know his stuff from start to finish. The view of the mountains in the neighboring state of Mass was an added touch. The day went off without a hitch. I highly recommend this venue without hesitation

The only thing I have to say about Altamont Manor is that they were PERFECTION. From the day we toured the venue, we could tell how passionate Harvey was about the property and about making weddings as enchanting as possible. The grounds are stunning, the house is a prime example of Victorian elegance, and Harvey and Donna's photography is timeless. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue or photographer. Harvey knows EVERYTHING about weddings, and gave the absolute best advice. Book them, you will not be disappointed!!

Harvey and Donna are phenomenal! The manor is stunning! Harvey helped us find the perfect vendors and himself and Donna were amazing photographers! They had the amazing idea to make multiple copies of the drives! I don’t think my day would have been nearly as special and perfect without them! I wish I could fit everything I want to say into this review! Harvey and Donna will make your day perfect!

My fiance and I were engaged August of 2023, and wanted to get married as soon as we could, but still have a wedding where we could host a wedding of about minimum 120 people.
We both love the outdoors, and after months of going to venues and looking at the value of the locations with the overall cost, Altamont Manor rose to the top of the list. Actually, it rose to the top after chatting with the owner. We felt very comfortable from the start. We sensed he was very open with us about how much things would cost and what was possible with the time we had to plan the wedding for April 2024. We quickly visited the location and after some deliberation, we chose the Altamont.
Reasons why we loved this location for our special day:
1. Professionalism and Guidance.
The owners KNOW what they are doing. I, like many brides, have not planned a wedding before or can't see the full picture amongst the chaos. Thankfully, included in the package is their wedding coordinating services. Harvey was who I worked with through the whole process. I could call him up at any point when I had a question and most of the time - if not all the time - he would pick up and answer my questions but also help me see other areas I needed to take note of. I am so thankful for his guidance!
They also were relatively flexible and made themselves available for meetings I facilitated with my DJ and other vendors to make sure the vendors were aware of what was needed for the space and to support them.
2. Beauty of the Grounds and Indoors
Also, the beauty of the view and the grounds (even though it was late April and a chilly one!), was perfect. Our day did happen on the chilliest day in April, but we were able to have our ceremony outside like we planned. Everyone braved the cold for 30 min ceremony, which I appreciated because the photos are STUNNING. You have a view of the garden and the lovely trees (even though they were just budding!) and the archway that comes with the garden is so lovely I didn't want to put up any sashes or extra flowers on it. I did not have to do anything to make the ceremony look the way I wanted it to except for renting the chairs from the manor for my guests.
The photos for my first look, bridal team, etc. also were great because, again, the garden and the house itself (even in the chilly spring) were so pretty.

Now, about the inside. In the front door you have the beautiful victorian crafted door and stairway and the bar after that - all cozy and grand at the same time. Elegant and perfect. In the reception area we have windows around on one side showing you the gorgeous view of the valley below. This is where we had a sweet heart table, which I highly recommend so you can see more of the view.

3. Vendors suggested
At first, I wasn't going to use suggested vendors since I had some in mind. However, when I was going through the logistics and short time frame, I really wanted a vendor who already had experience at the Altamont Manor. Harvey had a listing for me and I found one in my budget. The food was great, and my guests had a good time.

I cannot express how happy I am with my wedding at the Altamont Manor. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and the house is historic and regal. There are flowers of many different varieties around the property and a grand view. Just stunning!

The owner and operator of the venue, Harvey, is a kind and talented man who helped bring my wife's vision to life. He is also a skilled photographer who knows just the right angles and lighting for his property. He took some of our favorite pictures that day.

If you choose to have your event at the Altamont Manor, you will be in great hands. I gladly recommend this venue!

My husband and I had our wedding at the manor last weekend, and it was the perfect venue! The manor was everything we wanted in a venue: unique, historical, inviting, and beautiful. The gardens were the perfect backdrop for the ceremony, and the reception space was laid out nicely. Harvey, the owner, was a huge help with planning the wedding. I didn't expect him to be so hands-on, but he went above and beyond as a venue owner and day-of coordinator. He was very responsive to phone calls, and he had so much insight on vendors and general wedding planning. It was such a relief to have his guidance! In addition, he and Donna were our photographers, and they were absolute pros at coordinating everyone and getting some amazing photos throughout the wedding. Many of our guests were raving about how much fun they had at the wedding, as well as the manor itself and the service. We are so thankful!

My wife and I got married in October at the Altamont Manor. The Manor is beautiful and the gardens are breathtaking! Harvey was always a phone call away when my wife had questions about anything from vendors, photographers, weather, transportation, timing, etc. The day itself went perfectly! They know exactly where the best locations are for pictures at their venue as it is also their home! The best lighting, scenery, etc. You won't be disappointed if you choose the Altamont Manor. We had our wedding at the Altamont Manor in October. The Altamont Manor is a wedding venue, but also Harvey and Donna's home. It is beyond beautiful. It is such a welcoming place. The sunken garden, the fountain, the flowers and bushes, and the home itself are skillfully maintained. The house has such history! Harvey is more than willing to share in the history of his beautiful home. Harvey and Donna helped to make our wedding day perfect from the first time we met at the Altamont Manor. They provided information to help us get started with our vendors including caterers, DJs, Officiants, transportation companies, florists, bakeries, bands, etc. Harvey shared his expert knowledge on how to make it all come together. He was always available on the phone to answer any and all questions and did all of the work behind the scenes before, during, and after the wedding. When you choose the Altamont Manor for your wedding you receive a beautiful place for your wedding with indoor and outdoor options in case the weather turns sour on your special day. You also get Harvey who will work as your personal wedding planner behind the scenes to make it all come together exactly as you had hoped. And Harvey and his wife Donna can be hired to be your wedding photographers. They work as a team to make sure they your pictures turn out perfect! Knowing the venue also gives them the ability to choose the best places for photographs. If you are getting married, the Altamont Manor is the place to go!!!!!

We had our wedding at the Altamont Manor on September 16th and all of our guests can't stop raving about how nice it was! We had our ceremony in the venue's sunken garden, which was the perfect setting - private, beautiful, with views of the Helderberg Escarpment and beyond. The large veranda was perfect for mingling during cocktail hour and the reception. The layout inside for the reception was perfect - it is easy to see the dancefloor from all of the tables and the bar is right off the dance floor. Harvey was responsive to our questions throughout the wedding planning process and clearly knows his stuff when it comes to weddings! He helped coordinate the day's activities seamlessly so that everything would go as planned. We would HIGHLY recommend this venue for both the beautiful atmosphere, and the professionalism that Harvey has to offer.

Our wedding was absolutely everything I hoped for and more. The manor is gorgeous, historic, and so lovingly preserved thanks to the stewardship of Harvey and his wife. Harvey was so helpful from the very first time we toured the manor and grounds - suggesting tips and tricks to make our day great.

Harvey even appeared out of nowhere during the reception to help my husband wipe some scuff off of his shoulder! Talk about attention to detail!

All of the vendors recommended to us by Harvey were also phenomenal. Especially Turf Tavern. It is obvious that Harvey knows his stuff and cares deeply about every wedding that takes place in his beautiful home. Our guests are still raving about the beauty of the manor! Which is no surprise at all, as it is truly magnificent.

We held our welcome party and rehearsal dinner at the Altamont Manor and it was absolutely perfect. The gardens are spectacular and the home is stately; we particularly loved the Manor porch and classic, wood bar. Harvey was a pleasure to work with, attended to every detail and took a hands on approach to ensuring our event went smoothly. There are no venues in the area like the Altamont Manor!

We found out about Altamont Manor just a few weeks to our wedding and couldn’t change venues so close to the event. Although we didn’t use the venue for our wedding, the owners let us use their beautiful grounds for our pre-wedding photo/video shoot. They were flexible and willing to help every step of the way. The garden and beautiful grounds provided the perfect backdrop for our pre-wedding photo shoot. The lush greenery and picturesque settings created magical moments captured in every shot. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking to capture their special moments in a stunning and romantic environment.

Harvey and his wife helped us from beginning to end and after (with an anniversary celebration) to experience our love and appreciation for each other to our friends and family. They both went above and beyond to accommodate us and our wishes in addition to provide expertise in their field. The venue itself is stunning and everyone enjoyed every moment. My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary/late reception this past weekend in April. The location of Altamont Manor is absolutely breathtaking and is perfect for photo opportunities. Harvey is so accommodating to make sure that everything was just the way we wanted. I called Harvey many many many times Asking for advice on how to go about setting up and planning the party and every time Harvey was more than happy to help. We were able to fit 100 guests with a lot of room to spare for our dance floor, DJ and food vendors. We did things a little differently than the traditional American wedding as this was a Indian party and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the way the outcome came. The guests are still raving about how this was one of the best parties they’ve been to in a while. I 300% recommend booking with the Altamont Manor.

Our experience with Harvey and Altamont Manor was in every way and every consideration truly special. The grounds are gorgeous and very well-kept-Harvey prides himself on this and with good reason it would seem. Harvey was the perfect steward for our marriage. Both his demeanor and his experience helped us in numerous ways and it's hard to imagine our wedding being as successful as it was without his presence. Thank you again Harvey and Altamont.

The property is breathtaking, would have not wanted my special day anywhere else. The Altamont Manor's grounds and atmosphere speak for itself. Definitely a hidden gem. Harvey and Donna are wonderful to work with. Also provide many options for inclimate weather.

Jeff and I wanted a venue with a beautiful Victorian style with outdoor as well as indoor beauty. The day was perfect! Dew on the leaves from the morning with the sun glistening! The outdoor ceremony was beautiful, white chairs and arch alter was perfect. Violinist, cocktail hour on the veranda, the beauty of the manor was exquisite. Our guests enjoyed a delicious meal, scrumptious cake and cookies all while Harvey, the owner orchestrated picture opportunities throughout the entire event. The bar was flowing and people danced the night away to a DJ that knew just what to play to keep the dance floor full! We had a wonderful start to our new married life❤️Thank you Harvey and Donna!

My husband and I always knew that we were looking for a venue that was different from the typical “wedding factory.” We were searching for a venue that offered natural beauty, a vintage/classic feel, and many options for customization. We first visited The Altamont Manor in January, and even on the bleakest of days we knew right away we had found our venue. Harvey escorted us around the snow fallen grounds, and Victorian rooms inside. Upon meeting with Harvey and hearing about all of our options, we knew this venue perfect for our Fall wedding. When choosing the venue, you are choosing Harvey and Donna’s home. This ensures the utmost care for every detail from the flowers to the leaves on the grass. I am an extremely detail oriented person with many lists and DIY desires. Harvey managed this very well, and allowed me to do all of the decorations and preparations myself. This ability to create and set up the many personal touches for my big day was very important to me, and not allowed in many traditional venues. Harvey and Donna also photographed our wedding day, and made for such a seamless and well planned day. About 30 minutes before our ceremony, it poured rain. I really had dreamed of our ceremony outside down by the pond, and when the rain cleared with 5 minutes to spare Harvey and Donna helped gather all of our guests outside for the ceremony. Their level of flexibility and reassurance that all would go to plan truly set my mind at ease. I would highly recommend The Altamont Manor for any couple looking for a different experience from your traditional wedding factory. You will be guaranteed a personal and memorable day.

My daughter got married at the Altamont Manor and everything was absolutely beautiful! You feel like you are on a Manor estate in the middle of the country! The owner, Harvey, was professional and very accommodating. He answered all our questions and gave valuable input. You can tell he has been in this business for awhile. We were impressed by his knowledge of weddings and all the details. 
They were married in an outdoor ceremony in the sunken garden in front of the ornate arch with beautiful flowers and fall leaves softly dropping. It was breathtaking!
Cocktail hour was on the wraparound porch. The reception area is beautiful and spacious. The windows around the entire room allow in natural light and it was so nice to look out at the spectacular view and all the greenery and flowers. The setup of the venue is great! For those that aren't dancing there is the quiet wraparound porch for talking and catching up.
The outdoor grounds are meticulously maintained by Donna and Harvey. I just loved the entrance way decorative arch with greenery and lights - it is one of a kind! It was a beautiful background for the couple's photographs, which became their Christmas card photograph!

I had a wonderful time at our daughter’s wedding. In mid-September, both the grounds and gardens at the Altamont Manor were beautiful and well-maintained. The wrap around porch was the perfect place to be able to mingle with our guests before everyone was summoned into the banquet room for dinner. Thank you Harvey and Donna for making this day memorable for my family and our guests. I would highly recommend the Altamont Manor to any couple looking for that ideal place for their wedding.

We are so happy that we decided to get married at The Altamont Manor! Wedding planning really wasn’t our thing but Harvey made it to so easy. His many years of experience in the wedding industry helped us pick our other vendors. We enjoyed our day while Harvey took care of all the details. Our guests enjoyed themselves at this of the beaten path venue. This venue is definitely worth the drive and you feel like you are in a different world when you are at The Altamont Manor. The gardens and historic house are so well maintained. We really appreciate all of the hard work that goes into maintaining all of those flowers and plants. Our guests enjoyed the porch and exploring the gardens during cocktail hour. The sunken garden was the perfect place for our ceremony. The dinning room had plenty of space so all of our guests felt comfortable at dinner. They even has a great spot for our donut display. We really appreciate all of the hard work and care The Altamont Manor team put into making our day the best day ever!

The Altamont Manor is now one of our favorite places! Our guests were so impressed with the well maintained gardens and spectacular views. We had a beautiful fall wedding with leaves falling like confetti during our ceremony. Harvey was so organized and kept the day running smoothly so we could enjoy ourselves and spend time with our guests. The elegant wrap around porch was perfect for our cocktail hour. We enjoyed the sunset sky while eating dinner and had a blast dancing the night away. Since the manor is so spacious our guest who didn’t want to dance had a place to talk and catch up. I was the maid of honor at my sisters wedding at the Altamont manor. The gardens were breathtakingly beautiful. My favorite view of them was standing on the wrap around porch and looking out over all them. You can tell they are well maintained and cared for by the owners Harvey and Donna. The manor building itself is a well maintained victorian style manor, while still offering the comforts and amenities of a modern facility. Harvey was great and organized.He provided weather updates because there were chances of rain in the afternoon that thankful never showed. It was a wonderful day, our family will always remember thank you to the Altamont Manor for helping make this happen!

We were so blessed to be able to host our daughter and now son-in-law's wedding at the Manor. We enjoyed every moment of the big day. We had such a wonderful time. It went by so fast that we wish we could do it again in the gorgeous surroundings. The Manor is so elegant and the grounds are breathtaking.

Between the scenic views outside and the beautiful interior, the Altamont Manor is your dream wedding venue. The professionalism of Harvey and his team blew my mind. Our every request was not only met, but surpassed our expectations. Not only are Harvey and Donna the perfect hosts, they’re world class photographers. Magical day, the best day ever!

There are not enough words to describe our pleasure with the Altamont Manor. The day was perfect. Harvey and Donna really took care of us. They provided so many options for "worst case" weather scenarios but thankfully it didn't matter because the weather was perfect. Still, having so many options put any of my daughter's potential worries to rest. The setting itself is beautiful. There's really nothing like it in New York's Capital Region. The views are stunning. You can see the mountains in Vermont and Massachusetts. The grounds are amazing and the manor is just perfect. And Harvey and Donna also really care about the details. They worked closely with our caterer, DJ, florist and pastor. We also went with them for photography and they really blew us away with the photos too. Not a single complaint. You will not go wrong going with the Altamont Manor. Beyond pleased, ecstatic! It's a day we think about over and over again!

The Altamont Manor was our first and only stop as we looked for venues! Don’t look elsewhere, it’s simply the best! We could not have asked for a better venue, service or photography services! The venue was picture perfect and the day went off without a hitch thanks to Harvey executing every detail to make our day flow smoothly. The sunken garden made the most wonderful spot for our ceremony, and the reception inside were both simply elegant! We had our wedding on August 14,2021 and had the best experience with Harvey at Altamont Manor. While planning, he let us visit the venue in many seasons to ask questions/see the setup again. He always replied to phone calls the same day and kept us updated on COVID protocols. On the day of, Harvey kept up on maintenance, even cleaning up broken glass within minutes. I had my baby shower here in late September and it was perfect! The venue was stunning and the grounds were gorgeously kept. Everyone who we worked with was kind, responsive, helpful, and patient, and the day went by without a hitch. I would not have wanted anyone else to handle my wedding. The venue is gorgeous, but perhaps more importantly, flexible to our needs. My husband and I chose the Altamont Manor partially because of how easily you can make adjustments to your ceremony depending on the weather, and I'm so glad we did -- as we got hit by a tropical storm on our wedding day! It struck me, as I watched the weather forecast that day, how unique Harvey is, that I trusted him to handle whatever came our way and I didn't have to worry about it all myself. And indeed, we still had a blast and all our guests were still complimenting us on a beautiful ceremony and reception.

I would absolutely encourage anyone to choose the Altamont Manor. Harvey guided us through the steps to create an amazing event even through the COVID-19 pandemic, even through tropical storms, and even through my absolute lack of talent for event planning. We also separately hired him as our photographer, which was a great idea, because he knew all the best places on the grounds to get good shots both before and after the rain started.

I cannot say enough about how great the Altamont Manor was for us. It changed what could have been a stressful day into a great story and an amazing memory. If I had to do it all again, I would absolutely make the same choice.

With the pandemic, naturally we ran into a whole host of issues but nothing but flexibility and consideration from Harvey and Donna, they really were the ones to put our day over the top! The atmosphere speaks for itself, the property is quite literally breathtaking in the summer, we got married at the end of July. Knowing that we had great options for rain or shine truly took away any worrying we may have had about weather but luckily we were able to have the ceremony down by the fountain, and it was perfect! Harvey was able to provide valuable insight regarding angles for pictures, different setup options for the reception, and captured our most beautiful moments!! The Altamont Manor is a venue I would highly recommend to anyone, especially considering how reasonable the pricing was. We originally visited the Altamont Manor in the winter when the grounds were covered in snow and ice, but even then I could see the picturesque views and garden. Then we met Harvey, he was so kind and sweet and I was convinced immediately that the Altamont Manor would make my dream of an outdoor wedding come true. Planning a wedding is already stressful, but planning it during COVID-19 added more strands of grey hairs then I wanted or needed. But Harvey was there every step of the way prompt, knowledgeable, and always a calming phone call away. As expected on our wedding day, the venue was breathtaking, not a single blade of grass out of place. Many of our guest have said it’s one of the best weddings they have ever attended. The day started and ended perfectly, we were beyond happy with our experience.

We held a baptism here, the space and views were absolutely magnificent. The manor was spotless and quaint on the inside and the garden and landscaping were so beautiful. Harvey the owner was a pleasure to work with, he was completely flexible and willing to help ensure that all of our plans come to fruition. Harvey did a great job for my wedding. He was very flexible especially during a pandemic! We changed plans on him a couple of times and he was always understanding and worked with us. Our wedding was wonderful! From the beginning, Harvey was excellent to work with. He made sure our day was unforgettable. Because our wedding took place during the pandemic, we were forced to cut most of our guests. Our wedding became intimate and Harvey helped make all appropriate changes as we went. The Altamont Manor is amazing!! We I looked at about 10 different venues all over NY. We were looking for an affordable, but gorgeous, garden wedding venue. From the moment we arrived for our tour, the Altamont Manor was perfect! It's our dream wedding venue. Making the decision to book our wedding at the Altamont was so easy. My fiance and I went into the appointment feeling a little bummed because we had negative experiences at other venues. Everywhere we went, venues made us feel like a business transaction. However, everything changed once we found the Altamont Manor! What meant the most to us was the fact that this was a cherished family business. We could immediately tell that working with Harvey would be different. This was a family place, and he puts his heart and soul into this extraordinary property. What blew us away is that (after visiting other venues that rushed us), Harvey sat with us for almost 2 hours showing us the property, talking about different vendors and experiences he's had, showing us pictures, talking about options, answering questions, etc. We didn't want to leave!! We were over the moon excited as this was the perfect venue we were looking for. Harvey made the experience in every way! That is exactly the type of venue/person we were looking to work with- you can tell he really cares. He's SO experienced too having done numerous weddings on his property for over 30 years. His many years of experience gives us peace of mind because Harvey is so trustworthy, and we know he will take care of any issues that come up. COVID-19 has been challenging, and we've decided to postpone our wedding until 2021, but Harvey is still letting us have a small ceremony and dinner on his property this summer 2020 on our original wedding date for a very small fee! We feel so blessed and lucky that we get to enjoy this gorgeous venue, not once, but twice! He has been so flexible and understanding and patient. If you’re looking for an intimate, garden wedding at a venue that will make you feel valued and important, this is the place. Harvey’s customer service is exceptional, and his property is so classy, romantic, and perfect in every way.

Harvey’s Manor is beautiful. The location was perfect in mid October. The leaves had changed and were falling during our vows. Harvey was so kind and a big help on the big day. He helped to guide us and navigate events as they happened. We had plenty of room for our guests, a buffet, a DJ, a photo booth and of coarse dancing. It was just wonderful! All of my guests thought the location was beautiful. And I must mention Harvey’s patience. He met with us several times, helped us figure some details out and worked with us to make a perfect day.

My bride to be and I looked at quite a few places over the course of at least a couple of months. The first time we saw the Manor it was in the dead of winter when nothing was in bloom. Even then we could see how great the place would look for our wedding in August. (She tried to play it cool when we got back to the car but I knew right away the btide was in love with the place). We weren't disappointed. By the time our wedding came around in August the grounds looked spectacular. We did have a little rain that day but we were able to have the ceremony out by the fountain. Plus, after the rain stopped there was a beautiful rainbow, We used Harvey and Donna as our photographers and we got some great pictures with the rainbow. Very few of our guest had seen the place before and all of the them were wowed with the venue, inside and out.

From our first meeting with Harvey it was obvious he's been doing this for awhile and really knows his stuff down to the last detail. My only regret is that it went by so quickly. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

Altamont Manor is just enchanting. My husband and I visited this venue first and we already fell in love. We didn’t even need look at any other venues. We both agreed, this was it. Our wedding was on September 8 and honestly it had a forecast of light rain that day but even then there was a back up plan if we couldn’t have the ceremony on the lower garden. My husband and I love being outdoors and being close to nature so of course we wanted our wedding at a garden setting and to have it towards the end of summer so that the weather would just not be too hot not too cold. On our wedding day we were blessed with perfect weather. I’ll take that as a good start for this journey we are embarking on together. All of our guests just loved the venue and couldn’t stop complimenting it. I never planned to have florists to decorate for the ceremony because I wanted the charm of its natural beauty to come out. Harvey was very helpful especially a day prior the wedding. We had a mini rehearsal and a run through for the day’s events. The pictures don’t do justice for its beauty but Altamont Manor will always have a special place in our hearts.

Groom’s perspective:

Harvey had promised us that it wouldn’t rain on our wedding day if Kayla and I booked with him, and he was absolutely right; the weather was impeccable on our special day. It wasn’t just the weather that was wonderful, but quite honestly, everything was perfect on that day. Harvey had initially shown us the Manor in January of 2018 in winter, and although photos of previous weddings had somewhat prepared us for what it would look like on our wedding day of September 1st, 2019, it looked more beautiful than I was expecting day-of. The garden was gorgeous, perfect for photo opportunities, and the inside of the Manor was stunning itself. Many of our guests kept commending Kayla and I on our choice of venues, stating that it made them feel refined and even commenting on how much they liked its little unique touches, such as the shape of the bar (designed with curves to allow for people to mingle while standing near it) or the long porch that allowed guests to mingle outside during cocktail hour and dinner. Harvey made sure that the day went very smoothly, from facilitating setup and takedown of our catering and DJs (but giving them their own space to manage things as they saw fit), to preparing everybody during the rehearsal the day before, and—most importantly to me—helped to calm both me and Kayla down whenever the wedding stresses were accumulating and we needed reassurance that things would go smoothly. Kayla told me on multiple occasions that Harvey’s voice on the phone (his preferred method of communication) was incredibly soothing; couple that with the fact that he and his wife have been managing weddings at the Manor for many years, and one couldn’t help but feel relieved every time he took the effort to speak with us. Kayla and I are somewhat neurotic when it comes to planning, so the fact that Harvey had multiple ~30 – 45 minute phone calls with us to discuss logistics speaks to his kindness as not only one of our vendors, but as a person, too. Another example of his character was demonstrated to us when we had asked if our wedding, booked for the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, would be charged at a Saturday or Sunday rate since the following day would be a day off for most of our guests. Harvey smiled and told us that he was not there to “nickel and dime” his patrons, that he and his wife ran a small operation in renting the Manor out for weddings, and that he just wanted to make sure that we as his customers would be satisfied. To summarize what I’m trying to say—if you book with the Altamont Manor you will not only have a picturesque location for your wedding (hopefully without rain!), but you will also be investing in Harvey and his gracious family, who will be more than happy to ensure that your wedding day will be as wonderful as you ever dreamed it could be. I honestly have no complaints whatsoever about the Manor, and I think that most people would feel the same way, too. Our wedding day was the best day of my life, and the location was an important factor in that; do not pass up on a great opportunity of having your own wedding here!

Bride’s perspective:

After experiencing what I would say was truly the best day of my life (and my husband Eric’s), I would recommend Altamont Manor and Harvey’s services in an instant. I would truly rate this place 6/5 stars if I could because of how perfect everything was!

First off, there’s the venue itself. The grounds are absolutely stunning; Eric and I only had pictures to reference, since we had visited the venue back in January of last year. But Harvey took the time to meet with us and go through his extensive photo gallery of weddings held at the Manor, and photo after photo showed breathtaking gardens and a beautiful outdoor ceremony area (complete with an elegant trellis, a lovely fountain, and flowers galore). Banking on those photos, I think we made the right choice; seeing the grounds on the day of our wedding truly seemed unbelievable (in the best way possible). Plus, as Harvey had promised, it didn’t rain at all; the weather really was as good as we could have asked for in early September. In addition to the grounds, Altamont Manor comes complete with an adorable Victorian style house full of vintage touches that drew my husband and me to it immediately. The wraparound porch, the uniquely-shaped bar, the historic photos near the front, the vintage couches and chairs throughout the place—all of these had such charm to them, and we couldn’t help but fall in love with all of it. Everything about this place screams “photogenic”, which made for some really fun, creative photos with our photographer. Eric and I are not personally huge on “ballroom-style” weddings, but Altamont Manor provided the perfect blend of homeliness and elegance on our wedding day!

Second, there is Harvey—and I say this because when you book with Altamont Manor, you are not just getting the venue and grounds by any means. Harvey was an immense help throughout our planning process, and he essentially acted as a built-in wedding planner for us. He provided us with suggestions every step of the way, from when we should do parent/child dances during the night to making sure we let our guests know of our shuttle service going to and from the venue. He is thorough and detail-oriented, which was crucial to us, and his years of experience in the wedding industry really shows. He was willing to hop on several 30-60 minute calls with us leading up to our wedding day, and was flexible on the timing of those calls, too; we had several weeknight calls as well as a few calls on weekend days to work with our schedules. Last but certainly not least, Harvey truly provided Eric and me (I would say me especially!) with sound advice that helped calm us down when the wedding stress was getting to us. If I was ever freaking out about one aspect of the wedding planning, I would always feel better after talking with Harvey and being reassured—even his voice has a calming tone, which helped me as a neurotic bride feel a little more at peace! That was definitely not something to underestimate while tackling this beast called wedding planning!

To sum this up, if you want a stunning wedding venue with a low-key yet charming vintage vibe, a wedding planner with a can-do attitude, and an overall amazing experience, book Altamont Manor. I promise you will have the BEST wedding day, with everything around you only magnifying your love for your partner.

Me and my fiancé just got married on June 1st 2019. Everything was absolutely perfect! I was getting compliments all night from my guests about how amazing the venue was. The rain held off until after we were done with our pictures. Perfect timing! I don’t think it rains on anyone’s weddings at the this place lol. The details and decorations of this place are perfect. It’s truly a romantic and enchanting venue! Harvey was super helpful and organized and made the day go smooth. 5 stars for The Altamont manor!

We had our wedding here in July. Harvey was amazing and laid out everything to a tee. He also did our pictures which was a huge plus. This place is absolutely beautiful. The garden was the perfect background. It was a beautiful sunny day with a cool breeze and blooming flowers. I couldn't have asked for more. He and his wife were awesome as far as organizing pictures before and after the ceremony. Inside was just as perfect. The art deco bar was a nice touch. The reception area was perfect- everyone had enough space and could see everything that was happening on the dance floor (we had about 130/140 people). I really can't say enough about it. People are still calling us to tell us how beautiful and amazing it was. Harvey is especially awesome and am I so grateful I found the Altamont Manor. If you are looking for a venue with a hands on /experienced/thoughtful owner, a beautiful outside space, a spaciousreception, and an experienced photographer- look no further!!! Harvey coordinated with our vendors- turf tavern, felthousen flowers, jnl visuals (videographer) and perfect blend bakery. They've worked with turf tavern and the florists before so it was like working with a well oiled machine. Even with our other vendors everything went smoothly. I did not have one worry about our day. It was stress free, beautiful, and everything I wanted

Harvey was extremely helpful in all aspects of the logistics both before and during the wedding. He was able to accommodate some last minute changes as well as providing solutions to cover shortcomings of another vendor. My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding reception at the Manor on 8/10/18. It was a wonderful experience from the prewedding photos right through till the end when it was all over. Harvey and Donna graciously open their home to give every couple a wonderful experience and treasured memories. The gardens and grounds are absolutely stunning and provide a beautiful backdrop for photos. The food was excellent, the wait staff very efficient. In addition Donna and Harvey did the photos and got the best shots, knowing every inch of the property with many options for beautiful shots. Overall it was a very positive experience and I would strongly recommend the Altamont Manor as a wedding and reception venue. It is an unforgettable experience.

My husband and I chose the Altamont Manor for our wedding on July 14th, 2018. From the beginning Harvey and his wife were so attentive and accommodating. Upon our first meeting with Harvey we knew that this was the place that we wanted to get married, but what sealed the deal was the beautiful photos that he showed us from previous weddings. The pictures were so extraordinary and full of emotion that some even made you want to cry. (happy tears of course) That day we booked the Altamont Manor, as well as Harvey as the photographer. Throughout the whole process Harvey was there whenever we had a question or concern. He was prompt to answer back and helped out anyway he could. He even came to the rescue when it came to setting up the night before the wedding when we ran into some trouble with our caterer. The day of the wedding came and it was beautiful. My husband and I had such an amazing time, and our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the manor was. In regards to the pictures they turned out amazing! Harvey and his wife have such a creative eye. Every photo that was taken turned out incredible. My husband and I were married at the Altamont Manor on 10/14/17. Both our ceremony and reception were there and honestly, it would be an understatement to say Harvey and Donna really helped in making our wedding day PERFECT. Harvey and Donna were amazingly professional and patient as we had a large party of family and friends. They managed to organise everybody and still take really the best wedding pictures. I read so many reviews from different magazines, websites etc and many past brides said to be careful about choosing a photographer. We feel that we made the best choice. We just received our over 1100 photos and couldn't be happier. They captured crucial moments with loved ones and the quality is really crisp and clear on all the pictures. We highly recommend the Altamont Manor but not only as a wedding venue but also for their photography skills. Please... Loved working with Harvey for our wedding ceremony and reception. He helped coordinate the ceremony and cutting the cake which we had no idea what to do. His house is gorgeous and he was awesome in helping the day of our wedding. Deff will be renewing vows there.

We had the MOST magical wedding day ever at the Altamont Manor! My husband grew up in Altamont so we were vaguely aware of the venue and visited it--the day we visited we knew it was the one and put down our deposit! We had no need to visit any other venues, it was perfect. We spent a little less than a year planning our wedding and throughout that planning process Harvey was extremely communicative and had a lot of helpful advice as he has vast experience with weddings! We HIGHLY recommend this venue, it is BEAUTIFUL, cost efficient, and the owners are wonderful! In fact, all of the vendors we used knew of Harvey and Donna, and had nothing but wonderful things to say. It has been almost a month since our wedding and our guests still cannot stop gushing about what an amazing wedding it was. Wish we could do it all over again!

We had a great experience having our wedding at Altamont Manor. The venue is beautiful and the perfect size for our wedding- we had 75 guests. Harvey does a great job of keeping everyone on track the day of as well, which is super helpful if you do not have a wedding planner. One thing that sets this venue apart from the others has to be the price. Very affordable for such a quality place!

Five stars are not enough to rate the experience my fiancée and I had with the Altamont Manor. Before booking this vendor, I read reviews just like mine and couldn’t believe them. I figured there was no way that one person could be so accommodating and professional and for such an amazing price. Harvey not only proved the reviews right, he proved me wrong. He IS that person. From the very first day that Steven and I visited the Manor he was my wedding guru. We had a longer than average engagement and he was attentive each and every time I contacted him with questions. He challenged my ideas and made them better. He made sure I knew the pros and cons of every decision and he knew my wedding in & out, as if he planned my wedding himself. And that was all before the wedding weekend. The night of the rehearsal Harvey orchestrated everything – he made sure everyone knew where they needed to be and when they needed to move. He instilled confidence in us that our day was going to be perfect. He was right. I have heard from many guests that our wedding was the most beautiful they’ve ever been to – and that was thanks to the Altamont Manor. The venue is so beautifully simple and ornate. The leaves were falling all around us as we said our vows like God himself was in attendance. And all the way up at the top of the house, Harvey was snapping the photo I’ve attached to this review. He provided that shot, one that nobody else could’ve gotten, free of charge the day after the wedding. I could not recommend this venue any more highly. For any budget – if you want a fairytale wedding, choose Harvey and the Altamont Manor.

I threw a surprise 30th birthday party for my husband at The Altamont Manor. Harvey did an amazing job coordinating everything. I only had about a month to plan things, was working full time, had a new baby and couldn't do anything at home since it was a surprise for my husband! I honestly could not have pulled it off without Harvey's expertise. He thought of details that didn't even cross my mind and made it so easy to contact him on my limited schedule. The venue itself was perfect. We only had about 30 people and I was worried about having such a big space, but Harvey thought of the perfect layout of tables and decorations so we still had an intimate feel. The grounds were beautiful and I loved that my guests had the option of mingling outside or in. I wish I knew about this gem when I got married - The Appel Inn is pretty, but Harvey is much easier to work with! If you're looking for a smooth party planning process and flawless event, The Altamont Manor is absolutely the place to go!

Whether indoors or outdoors, this is a beautiful setting for any event. In my case it was a memorial service for my late husband. We gathered inside for drinks and snacks (catered) before going outside to the lovely lower gardens for the memorial and remembrances. This was followed by a catered luncheon for 70 people in large and comfortable air conditioned space where we sat at 7 tables of 10 each.. Every step of the way Harvey was there to guide me and help me. He gave me a selection of caterers and the one I chose was familiar with the Altamont Manor and provided their services seamlessly. He helped me set up my Power Point presentation of my husband's life and let me use his large monitor. After reviewing my plans for the day he made many useful suggestions regarding the placement of chairs, mikes, and so on. Afterwards, I received many compliments on the occasion, but it was all because of Harvey's professionalism and experience.

When Larry and I started looking for venues we came across the Altamont Manor. We wanted an outside Wedding Ceremony. We Had looked at several already. We fell in love with the Altamont Manor. It was beautiful inside and out.
We knew this was the right place for our Wedding. Harvey was very pleasant and explained what he had to offer. We knew we were in good hands. This venue is absolutely beautiful. We were married on 9/17/2017 and our family and friends remarked how much they loved the Manor. Harvey did a great job!!! and made our day very special. If your looking for a great venue that has everything the Altamont Manor is your Place!

Beautiful Location, excellent venue, and fantastic photography. Harvey made our day. It's been 3 months since my wedding and I still have great feelings about our day. The Manor is a stunning setting. But what really makes this the perfect place to make your day perfect is Harvey and his beautiful bride. He is the best. From dates, catering, photography, dj, floral, he has it down to a science. He will help as little or as much as you need him too. We could not have asked for a better day.

I will be recommending the Altamont manor to anyone who ask! They did a fantastic job with my ceremony and pictures. Also Harvey gives a list of people to use for catering and officiating I suggest people to use them!

The Altamont Manor wedding venue was beautiful. Outdoor ceremony with the dinner inside. So perfect in every way. The pictures came out great. Hard to choose.

I am SO impressed with Altamont Manor and Harvey. I TOTALLY recommend using this venue. It is a beautiful venue. We had our ceremony outside in the garden. Absolutely beautiful pictures with the trees and flowers surrounding us. For the cocktail hour, we were able to have it outside on the porch. The reception area is beautiful. It has a wooden ceiling so it makes it look super rustic and has the natural light from the windows around the whole room. Harvey was with us the entire way. From the first day we met him, we were impressed by his knowledge of weddings and all the details. He was great with keeping the wedding on time and getting us all in line for the processional line and for our introductions. He was great with calling me back throughout the entire year of planning and answering all my questions. All of my friends and family said it was the "best wedding they ever went to" and they said the "most beautiful" because of Harvey's beautiful property. Thank you SOOO much Harvey. Our day was PERFECT!!!

We met Harvey back in the winter and were so impressed with the charming manor, porches, views, and reception hall colors, windows, and decor, however we were blown away when we saw it all come together with the immaculate garden and flowers surrounding the porches, for our August 5th wedding. Our guests and families were impressed and having the beauty indoors and out, made the location ideal for us and our guests to wander and enjoy themselves as well as party in the reception hall. It also made it easier to take pictures, not having to find another location to drive to for photos. I (bride) had my own bathroom in the manor. Harvey is knowledgeable and detailed oriented, with an inviting demeanor. He is helpful and present, without being controlling. My caterer and my dj were new to the Manor but seemed to all work well under Harvey's direction and accommodations. For a beautiful place and reasonable price, I recommend visiting the Altamont Manor.

Harvey and Donna made us feel like our son and daughter-in-law were getting married in our own back yard. Harvey and Donna are meticulous planners and love what they do. They made sure all of the plans went off without a hitch. The sunken garden and other landscaping looked beautiful. As guests left the venue the added outdoor lighting gave a magical feel. And the sparklers were the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this wedding venue!!

The Altamont Manor was a terrific wedding venue experience ! Harvey was a pro all the way from planning, to the ceremony, and reception. My son and daughter-in-law had a special day ! Also I know our guests had a blast ! Harvey also recommended a good caterer. My favorite thing about the Altamont Manor is the romantic outdoor wedding ceremony in the lower garden and the homey feeling of the old Victorian Home . Something different from the wedding norm ! The Altamont Manor and it's owner, Harvey, truly gave us the wedding of our dreams! Our wedding was on July 14, 2017, and we are continuing to hear our guests compliment the Altamont Manor. From beginning our search for the perfect venue, to leaving the wedding reception, we received the most outstanding service, and everything was very smooth. Harvey is a true professional, and also guided us as a wedding planner would! This venue was perfect!

Our son and daughter-in-law were married here two weeks ago and it was a beautiful day. I usually do not leave reviews, but I wanted to thank Harvey and his wife Donna for allowing us to have the wedding at the Altamont Manor. The grounds are beautiful and it is evident that Harvey is very meticulous and keeps everything looking just so. I enjoyed working with him and meeting with him on a few different occasions leading up to the wedding. However, the day of the wedding he exceeded my expectations when he remained calm, focused and professional throughout the entire day. Also, the pictures he took are great, he does know the best places to take them after all! Thank you again for all you did to make my son and daughter in-law's wedding something we will remember forever.

My sister got married here on 7/1/17 and I was so jealous I hadn't found this place 10 years earlier when I got married! The setting is out of a storybook and it was the perfect place for the "garden wedding" they had. My sister is very particular and is very type A, therefore she needed a wedding coordinator who was going to make sure everything was just so. Harvey is a package deal! Not only is he the venue owner and wedding coordinator but he also was their photographer. The pictures they received were beautiful and he had them done within 2 weeks! We loved spending time here for the wedding and we are already thinking of events we can have here in the future! Thank you for making my sister's wedding day even more than she could have ever dreamed of!

Our daughter and new son-in law celebrated their marriage here on 7/1/17. The venue was stunning and Harvey took care of everything. You can certainly tell he has been in this business for years! Nobody seemed stressed out because everyone knew Harvey had it under control. My daughter wanted to have her wedding outside and we were nervous the rain was going to ruin that. Five minutes before the start of the ceremony Harvey allowed Rachel to make the call to have the ceremony outside- and just like he promised the rain held off until the ceremony was finished! Harvey and his wife also were the photographers for the wedding and we could not be more pleased with the genuine, authentic, high-quality pictures we received. The setting makes for absolutely gorgeous photos and the backdrops- they almost don't even look real!! We are so happy that the wedding took place at the Altamont Manor and recommend it to everyone!

Most birdes write reviews and most grooms happily allow them to do that. However, I felt compelled to write something. My wife and I got married here on July 1,2017 and it was the greatest day. Harvey and Donna were extremely understanding and attentive for months leading up to the wedding and th me day of the wedding I felt very at ease knowing it was in their hands. We used them as our photographers and rhe pictures are beautiful. Between the venue and photography this was a relatively inexpensive cost compared to many other places. However, I would have paid much more just based on their professionalism and knowledge alone. Everyone definitely needs to consider booking their wedding here!!! Thank you Harvey and Donna!

Honestly cannot say enough about Harvey, Donna and the Altamont manor. I am a bride who is very OCD and likes things done a certain way. I had a rustic wedding and I had sooooo many decorations. Harvey was accommodating and allowed My family and I to come on the Friday befor the wedding to set everything up. Harvey responded to every question I've ever had promptly and Instead of just giving a quick answer, he spent time discussing options for the day. When the bride and bridesmaids showed up 45 minutes late for pictures the day of the wedding, Harvey was not upset at all, he just ran with it. The pictures him and his wife, Donna took are beautiful. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate them for making my day perfect and allowing my vision to come true. So many guests said it was the most beautiful venue they have ever been to. Please do yourself a favor and book the Altamont manor- you will not regret it.

June 18th, 2017, I married my best friend, the love of my life, my forever man. We couldn't have chosen a better place to have our wedding. Harvey and Donna, the owners of the Altamont Manor, welcomed us into their beautiful home and treated us like family as they helped create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. They not only provided a beautiful location, but they guided us through the wedding planning process and also did our photography.

Throughout the day they ensured we captured every photo we requested and many, many more. We can't wait to see all the memories they have preserved for us. At the end of the evening our 2 year old daughter, Aria was overwhelmed with exhaustion from a day full of fun. Donna offered to get her a glass of milk to help sooth her and then she just had to have chocolate milk and Harvey made that happen. She was a happy kid once again after that.

When we visited the Altamont Manor back in November we fell in love with the location. We knew right then and there it was the perfect place to celebrate our special day. We cancelled a previous reservation we had for Thacher Park and moved forward with no regrets. Harvey gave us a guide to help us through the wedding planning process and showed us his collection of beautiful photos he and Donna had taken at the numerous weddings they have hosted. Even though there was snow on the ground that day and winter was approaching, he showed us the beauty the location holds all times of the year.

We just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Harvey and Donna seamlessly executing our event and making our day even better then we ever could have imagined. If you are looking to get married anytime in the future, don't hesitate to go visit Harvey and Donna at the Altamont Manor. They are professional, caring, attentive and just extremely pleasant people to work with.

The Altamont Manor is everything I could have asked for for our wedding. My husband and I were married 5/28/17 and Harvey was on top of every aspect of the wedding. We booked the venue over a year and a half earlier and Harvey made himself available any time from that day on that we had questions or concerns. Harvey knows every detail about how to run a flawless ceremony and keep everyone on track during rehearsal straight through to the end of the reception. He was able to give us recommendations on details we hadn't even thought of, from timing of events, to creating a list for a smooth photography session, right down to how often our shuttle should run to pick up guests. I have zero complaints and could not have asked for a more perfect day.
Harvey and his wife, Donna also did all our photography and while we have not yet received our photos (it's only been a week) we received a few sneak peaks and I am more than thrilled with the results thus far. Five stars indeed for every aspect of this team!

Everything came together so very well on our special day at the Altamont Manor on May 6th 2017. Harvey, the owner, is extremely professional, courteous and detail oriented. We could not be more happy with our decision to chose this as our location. I am not one for lengthy reviews, so I will leave it at that. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a beautiful, quaint, no fuss venue this is your place. This was a one stop shop for us, Harvey did our pictures and we hired Nicole's to cater. They've been there often so they worked together flawlessly. Our florist and DJ's were friends and Harvey worked with them great. It was a smooth planning process and even smoother the day of. If that's what you're looking for, book the Altamont Manor. The Altamont Manor is a beautiful place that truly did not require much décor. We had center pieces and a few personal touches here and there, but in September the hydrangeas and many other flowers were still in bloom and the place was BEAUTIFUL. All of our pictures are so bright and green. The house looked pristine. Our friends and family were so happy to celebrate with us in such an inviting and pretty place. The setup of the dance floor, bar, porch and dining area was great for people to have fun time dancing wildly or relaxing and catching up. We opted for the lights package and were stunned by how gorgeous everything looked at night all a twinkle. Harvey and Donna did our pictures and seemed to genuinely have fun with our family and with us capturing special moments and getting all of the shots that we asked for. We are so grateful to have shared our wedding day with them and are so glad we chose this venue. Best day of our lives (so far!)
