Hire the Alpine Events team for the best wedding!
Alpine Events was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding in Charlevoix, MI! They are everything you want in a wedding vendor with their supreme customer service and excellent responsiveness. I worked directly with Amanda from the Grand Rapids office (I believe) and she was fantastic to work with. Every time we needed to make an adjustment or update our invoice, she was extremely quick to confirm my details and send along an updated form. Paying was also super simple as well with their online payment portal. Not only did they provide an amazing tent, their glassware for our cocktail hour was perfect! I have zero complaints and would highly highly recommend Alpine Events to any couple looking for a supply (they do everything) wedding vendor. -

Excellent, friendly, helpful.
Alpine Events was extremely helpful! We needed a small amount of chairs to make up for what we were missing, and contacted Alpine very last minute. They were quick to respond, understanding and helpful in every exchange. -

Saved the day!
We are so glad we worked with The Rental Company for our wedding! We rented a gorgeous chandelier and had draping too. When there was an issue with unfinished construction at our venue the day before our wedding we called Robyn and she was able to put up some additional draping to cover the construction mess. Thank you Robyn! -

My husband and I rented risers for our head table and working with the rental company was smooth and seamless. They made it work to deliver the risers on the Friday before our wedding and were agreeable to all our preferences. The company dropped off, set up and picked up the risers without any issues and made it very easy on us during our busy wedding weekend. I would absolutely recommend renting from this company!! -

I hope I can adequately convey how happy my husband and I were with The Rental Company for our wedding in May. I had a clear vision of a vibrant checkerboard dance floor popping under the disco balls at our reception venue, The Cheney Place. Silly as it seems, it was a “must’ to me. Robyn and The Rental Company came through and then some.
They were a pleasure to work with and I gasped when I saw that beautiful dance floor. It was better than I expected. Graphic, durable and … just gorgeous.
And a few days after our event, Robyn refunded our late night pick up fee because the company rescheduled (with our venue staff) so they could celebrate the wedding of one of their own employees. I mention it to highlight that they seem to take care of not only their customer, but their staff. That matters!
Thank you so much for bringing my vision to life. We got so many compliments and our pictures are already treasured to us.

We rented farm tables, cross back chairs, wooden ceremony arch, linens, and glassware from The Rental Company and had it delivered to Ludington, Michigan for our wedding. Everything we rented was in perfect shape and absolutely beautiful for the event. We worked with Robyn who was responsive & flexible to our needs throughout the entire process. EXCEPTIONAL company to do business with! This was my 3rd year hosting ‘Glow in the Park’ in Douglas, Michigan. This year I approached the owner of The Rental Company to see if she would consider being a sponsor. I described the event and watched the light behind her eyes go on, as she started scribbling down all the ideas she had for how we could make the event great. I knew I was in good hands instantly!
HOLY COW did she blow my doors right off! Not only did the tent look just amazing and the quality of the tent was much better (cleaner), but she included so many nice finishing touches that really brought the caliber of the event up a notch! We had some gorgeous white leather furniture that looked spectacular under the black light tent and guests loved it! There were a few things I wanted that she didn't have in her catalog, but she sourced them and made sure everything was P.E.R.F.E.C.T!!!
Mistakes I made, required the rental company to make special trips from their office about 6-7 times to bring or exchange things. They even came down to show us how to setup the cotton candy machine! The staff was very professional, and reassured me they wanted the event to be perfect. They went so far above and beyond, I can't say enough good about them!!
I really appreciate companies that give back to the community. This is the kind of company you should want to do business with! I know they are solidly locked in as my rental vendor for all my events!! Their contribution to my event was invaluable!

I was so pleased with the experience I had with The Rental Company for my 7/16/16 wedding. I had a vision of having a beautiful indoor lounge area for my guests near the dance floor at our wedding. I met with Robyn several months ahead of time to show her photos and discuss ideas I had. She was also able to give some great recommendations and come up with a few options that were in my price point. I really appreciated that she truly stuck to the amount we discussed. (My experience with planning a wedding is that this is hardly every the case.) We chose one that suited our needs and they set up and delivered our tent, furniture, pillows, and chandelier the day of our wedding. Everything came together absolutely beautifully! The tent had draping that hovered over white leather couches and chairs with accent pillows with a breathtaking chandelier in the center as the focal point. Our guests really enjoyed having a space to "lounge" and watch people out on the dance floor if they did not go out themselves. It also served as a beautiful backdrop for photos. After the event, they tore everything down and removed all of the furniture for us. The process was so smooth and it was fun meeting to discuss ideas! I would highly recommend them! -

I am so thankful that we used the rental company for our outdoor wedding reception. Robyn and her team did a fantastic job making our venue look absolutely amazing. When I showed up for the reception I was so happy with how everything looked...better than imagined! They did a fantastic job on a small time frame. I really glad I found The Rental Company. They were the only rental company to assist with our Jewish Wedding with having a Chuppah which was great in our ceremony. We had a little anxiety attack when we discovered that our chairs were too big for the tables we rented. Robyn calmly and quickly came to the rescue and had her chairs on site within an hour! Totally appreciated her calming approach and style! It was awesome and ended looking better than had we used all of our chairs! -

The bright star of our event was when working with The Rental Company. They are prompt, communicate well and are very professional. I even stopped in unannounced on one trip during which I made changes to our order inventory and my visit was no problem at all. On the day we decorated for our event we needed additional table clothes and they drove them right over. I highly recommend working with this rental company. The Rental Company made planning the event effortless. I worked with Heather at the Rental Company and she went above and beyond for my wedding. We were planning our wedding from out of state and Heather made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. As a non-profit having limited resources, The Rental Co worked with me to make sure everything is taken care of, including setting up and taking down some of the larger pieces (tents, etc). The Rental Company provided me with beautiful linens for my wedding reception this fall! We overheard so many comments about how lovely everything looked, it was definitely a step up from the white linens that were provided with my venue! I was greeted within seconds of arriving at the showroom without an appointment . I don't think it took more than 15 minutes to select tables, chairs, table settings , and linens . I received an email with all prices that afternoon . I made a few additions and that's all it took to plan a grand party for 80 people .
Everything was delivered and set up as planned and then picked up on The 5th without my being there !
It could not have been easier !
I've used the Rental Company many times and would never go anywhere else. -

This was the second event I have used The Rental Company. The first time was for my daughter's graduation party two years ago. Both times, Robyn (and this time Heather) were extremely helpful and organized. Both events I rented a tent, table, linens and chairs. The second event was a Bridal Shower for my niece. We rented dishes, glassware and flatware. The setup and teardown was timely and Robyn accommodated my requests. Heather was extremely helpful in guiding me thru what I needed for the shower. She also helped when I need to change some things. All the utensils came clean, organized and ready to use. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, they are a pleasure to work with! -

Robyn and her team helped me pull off a major surprise for my husband's 40th anniversary with his company. From walking into the venue and immediately giving me great advice on where to set various pieces of furniture up, to delivering promptly and completely everything we ordered, we were delighted. We worked with Robyn and her staff at the Rental Company for over a year while planning our daughter's wedding in Holland, Michigan. Robyn guided us through the process always with a smile on her face. She was able to put together a beautiful tented affair including all the lighting. She was also able to add a secondary (smaller) tent near the main tent which was set up with a beautiful hutch and 16 foot bar, soft seating and high top tables. This took a lot of traffic out of the main tent, but was close enough to be part of the party. It became a focal part for many of the younger crowd to hang and reacquaint with friends and classmates. (If you are doing a tented affair, look into this part - it was great!!!!!) Robyn's flexibility and input throughout the process, made the entire journey so much fun. She has so many great ideas - you get so much more from Robyn that what you pay for. THANKS ROBYN ....couldn't have done it without you. -

Robyn has a wonderful flair and style. She had many ideas to propose to me that I had never thought of. Provided unique furniture and table décor. Made a tent fit in a very small area. All the product supplied by her was wonderful and top quality. She also arranged for the portable bathrooms which were impressively plush. We used the rental company for our table linens, chairs, draping/backdrop, and rustic arch (for ceremony) for our July wedding. The Rental Company was a delight to work with for our recent wedding in South Haven, MI. From my first conversation with Robyn, I knew they were the one and only rental vendor for me! However, The Rental Company's services extended well beyond providing the items we needed. Aside from conducting a detailed walkthrough with me to establish our unique needs, we were provided with a very helpful CAD mock-up to help me picture the best layout for our space. Robyn had fantastic ideas for making the most of our budget and venue (a private residence). I felt I had so many factors to consider doing this outdoors and I was so relieved each time I called and e-mailed with more questions and worries about weather or accomodations for my varying guest count. I felt so comforted by the knowledge and expertise of The Rental Company, which provided a solution for each question I had! They also have an extensive selection of beautiful linens and decor, which matched my dream wedding vision perfectly. (We used a tent, chairs, tables, ceremony decor, hurricane glasses, paper lanterns with matched my linens beautifully, etc.)
I always received responses right away, which helped immensely during the planning process. Even my last minute requests for weather didn't phase The Rental Company! The set-up and tear-down team was very efficient and professional.
I highly recommend The Rental Company for your wedding or special event of any size. We received so many compliments on our wedding - many saying it was the most beautiful they had attended. -

The Rental Company is amazing and SOO easy to communicate with. I actually ordered over the phone and was emailed our invoice. It was a beautiful streamlined process of picking up our rentals, and here's the best part: since we were having a bit of a destination wedding (none of us were from the Holland area), no one would be able to return the chairs Monday. Even though their business was closed Saturday evening, we were allowed to drop the chairs off in a pre-arranged van!! They were so flexible, and so so kind. They were very accommodating of us out-of-towners. -

One reason why I would recommend "The Rental Company" is because they notice a mistake was made but, made sure the Bride and Groom day was not effect by the mistake. The Rental Company was great. She worked with me to fit my budget. Although sometimes it took a few tries to reach them, they were very easy to work with. The arbor and tables we rented were a little beat up, but nothing terrible. We decorated the arbor with some organza chair sashes and some flowers, and it was beautiful. And the tables were covered with linens, of course. The delivery guys were GREAT. We got married on a private beach and had to climb down many stairs to the ceremony location. They brought the arbor down for us and assembled it there. And carried it back up the stairs when they came to pick up the rented items. -

The vendor got super busy with last minute plans related to events changing due to COVID and were a bit slower due to that responding to emails compared to prior to COVID. The delivery was about an hour late and we had to call to get an update. Other than that everything was perfect. They set it up quickly and tore it down quickly. Quality of arch and dance floor were great! -

Robyn was absolutely amazing! After a miscommunication with my events company I was in a panic mode 2 weeks before my wedding because I had no lighting or drapery for my tent. I emailed a few companies asking for help and Robyn responded right away! She never works in other peoples tents but because she felt bad and wanted to make sure my day was perfect she made an exception....and fit us in to her already busy wedding weekend! I am literally forever grateful because the tent lighting and drapery set the tone for the whole decor. It was a must. Not only did she fit me in but when they came out to set up the drapery she noticed the tent wasn't put up correctly (i won't name the tent rental company) and she wouldn't leave without it being correct so she went to the local hardware store, purchased a sledge hammer and had her guy fix it! SO above and beyond! ALL my future events will be handled by The Rental Co! They are exceptional! Well worth the money. Can't say enough AMAZING things about them. -

My experience with The Rental Company was great overall. The rentals were high quality and the evening was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The staff that dropped off/set up/picked up were very professional and efficient. It wasn't an easy location to dress but it was all done perfectly. My reasoning for 4 stars in responsiveness is probably due more to the fact that I was planning the wedding from across the country and feeling the stress/anxiousness that that evokes but there was some question of lighting scheme even up until the week before the wedding. That just had me feeling a bit anxious in the days leading up - but the lighting turned out great and everything was perfect! -

Robyn was wonderful to work with. The rental company provided the tent, tables, tableware, and chairs for both our ceremony and our reception. Robyn responded to all of our questions in a timely manner and was really professional in her dealings. -

We rented chairs and glassware from the rental company. They dropped off and picked up the chairs and picked up the glassware from a second location for a small extra fee. Everything arrived and was picked up on time. No problems. I would recommend this company. -

Robyn and her team were so helpful and responsive to our requests! I'll admit, I was a little hesitant at first because The Rental Company is the only company that our venue allowed for rentals and setup, but after working with Robyn and her team, it was evident that the reason for this is because they truly are the best! The Rental Company helped us create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, including a lighted dance floor and canopy so we could dance the night away under the stars. Thank you, Robyn! -

Overall we were happy with The Rental Company. They offer tons of options for place settings, linens, tables, tents, barware, and decorations. They were always very responsive when I emailed hmmm maybe around 20 times in the month or two before the wedding to make last minute changes, which I really appreciated! I would encourage anyone working with them to be absolutely crystal clear about any and all of your expectations for the rentals. We paid for set-up for what we thought was ALL of our rentals, but on wedding day my mother came to me panicked saying that none of the tables or linens were set up. I had to run outside right before putting on my dress to ask the guys from The Rental Company what was going on, and they told me we had only paid for SOME set-up, but not "white glove service" which would have included tables and linens. Thankfully our entire wedding party and family set everything up and it turned out fine, but it was the biggest headache of the day. Again, I will say that overall we were happy with the service. -

I hired 3 girls to help clear and rinse dishes from tables and cut and serve cake. The girls were very slow and really didn't have a clue. -

I had a hard time finding a company that had navy blue table linens for my daughter's wedding. I found The Rental Company, which was in Holland, close to the reception venue. The staff was very accommodating as we had changed the linen size. Very nice staff to work with! I would highly recommend this company! -

I was thrilled that TheRentalCo. had available the items I was looking for in a last minute crunch. The venue where the wedding had been scheduled for, had been closed due to some unfortunate circumstances. I had to re-create the look the bride and groom wanted . The staff was very helpful and I was pleased with how everything came together with all of their help. The wedding was beautiful, and the items we rented helped to make their day turn out the way they wanted!! -

We shopped a lot of different places and the Rental Company had market-rate prices. We also changed what chairs we wanted and they were very accommodating. There was a slight issue with the cleanliness of the chairs when we received them, so we had to spend a few hours washing them before they were clean enough for the reception hall, but I understand that they rent many chairs each week and don't always have time to clean them well. It is good to note that you may need to spend time cleaning some of the rentals dependent on the busyness of that week for them. However, that was the only downfall. Everything else was wonderful and looked beautiful! I would work with them again - just would have planned on some extra time for washing the chairs. -

The Rental Company did a great job with our wedding. Prices are ok, but they have a pretty nice selection and can get you basically any linens you need. Robyn is very creative and worked with our budget. Overall, a good vendor. -

Wedding Rentals
I rented plates, cups, and silverware through Alpine Events. I had a rough start with a couple people, but VICTORIA WAS AMAZING.
Delivery fee was more expensive then expected and it's extra to get things picked up Saturday evening or Sunday.
She was so responsive and accommodating. If you work with this rental company make sure you ask for her. -

Honestly, my experience was not the best. Early on it was good - but then the woman I was working with left the company and I was left emailing no one for a couple weeks. Other than that, leading up to the event was just fine. Even the week before, they went out of their way to track down heaters, as it was unseasonably cold....this was so very appreciated! The day of my rentals were dropped off early (great!) but were not set up. No one returned to help - and it took several hours for anyone to return my coordinators frantic phone calls. My coordinator had to cart chairs down to the ceremony site, and her along with several of our kind guests, had to set up our chairs at the ceremony. Additionally, we received the incorrect items we had reserved. The next day my coordinator was in touch with the owner (apparently they had overbooked themselves) and we were refunded the set up fees for the chairs and tables, as well as all of the items that came incorrectly. This was nice and appreciated - no arguments and many apologies - which is great. But I unfortunately still have the visual of my guests setting up their own chairs. -
