  I give Allure Planning an A rating. Shonda was professional, engaging, and personable from the very first consultation. She listened and notated our ideas and chimed in when we wanted guidance. Shonda worked extremely well with all of our vendors. Almost all of our vendors came from her recommendations and they were a great fit for our wedding. I was very proud of the way she decorated as well. Area for improvement: I recommend expanding the team and using more assistants to ensure that all tasks are completed as planned. Outside of a couple easy fix hiccups, everything was beautiful. I highly recommend Allure Planning Services and would use their services again.

  Shonda was detailed, quick to follow up, professional and personable. She assured me every step of the way from 60 days out up until almost one month after my wedding date to ensure all my affairs were in order. Her team was helpful, very kind to my guests, and kept a natural flow to my wedding day. It was blissful. Hire her! If you think you don’t need a DOC, YOU DO. Especially her.

  Shonda was amazing and really came through as a coordinator and officiant at my wedding.

  Shonda is a FANTASTIC!!! There are truly not enough words to express how amazing she is. She took the vision we had for our wedding and went beyond our expectations. She is very thorough and goes above and beyond for her clients. If you ever need a wedding planner, she’s definitely one you should book!

  Shonda was a joy to work with! As a COVID couple where everything has been a headache, she was a breath of fresh air with her calm demeanor, flexibility, and ease of services. She was extremely professional, communicative, kind, and patient. She conducted a beautiful service for us and our families raved about her. We highly recommend her!

  Shonda is simply incredible

  Shonda was my day of coordinator and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. She not only helped the day of, but leading up to the event as well. Shonda helped me remember small details like card boxes and champagne glasses on top of everything else she provides. My venue was breathtaking and she went above and beyond to set out my decorations and make sure everything was to my exact specifications. She was on time, thorough and extremely helpful. Not only that but she officiated our wedding. We got tons of compliments on how quick and wonderful the ceremony went. The reception was amazing and Shonda kept us on track and made sure we got everything we wanted. More than a handfull of people told me that this was the smoothest and nicest wedding they’d ever been to and that is in part because of Shonda.

  Do yourself a favor and book Allure Planning Services for your Wedding or event. Shonda stuck with me through the pandemic and reschedules and made our day amazing when we were finally able to celebrate. She’s super responsive and on top of it and made it so we had nothing to worry about on the day of our wedding.

  Shonda saved our wedding day!

  Allure Planning Service saved our special day! I had a last minute hiccup where my day of coordinator bailed on us the week before our wedding. I’m so happy I found Allure Planning Services just 30 minutes later and Shonda was happy to help and stepped in right away. She handled every last minute issue that came up from the moment she stepped in and made our day as seamless as possible. Shonda is always available when we need her, via text, call or email. She served as a point of contact for all of our vendors and coordinated set up and clean up on the day of. She even made sure that we were fed, hydrated and taken care of on our special day. Thank you so much Shonda! You are awesome.

  Our wedding was this past Monday and everything was awesome. Shonda came on to help us and didn’t disappoint. She has been so helpful and so great throughout the process. We are so glad that we had the opportunity to work with her and can’t thank her enough for making our wedding day go smoothly. She was very punctual when replying to any texts/emails I sent her. She coordinated with all of our vendors and the venue to ensure our wedding went as planned. She was a quick problem solver and made sure that last minute surprises, which always happen, were not evident to us or our guest because the ceremony and reception were perfect. If you haven’t already, please book her for your wedding day. You won’t be disappointed.

  Shonda is amazing!

  I needed a day of coordinator two weeks before my wedding and Shonda stepped up with no hesitation!! She was so helpful and didn’t hesitate to direct anyone! Shonda is assertive, but so so kind!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else- she is the absolute BEST!!

  My experience with Simply Events was amazing. My husband and I would both agree that this was a great decision to bringing Simply Events on to be apart of our wedding planning. She negotiated prices with other vendors and gave very insightful pointers and views on wedding things we had no idea to even think about. I would highly recommend Simply Events to any newly engaged couples. The absolute best.

  Wedding & Rehearsal Dinner

  Shonda is the best!! She was patient, listened and made sure everything she did was wanted I envisioned doe my wedding & rehearsal dinner . I would highly recommend her for your wedding & rehearsal dinner! She exceeded all my expectations and made the best days of our lives absolutely perfect. She went the extra mile for me and I truly appreciate her for that.

  Shonda and our special day!

  Like most soon-to-be newly weds, we searched for a wedding coordinator through several websites. For those who aren't sure whether they want to hire a month-of-coordinator or not, let me tell you, you don't want to skimp on it. My fiance, now husband (!), and I wanted a DIY wedding and had a strict budget. We were told by many married friends that hiring a good coordinator was a must. I'd heard nightmare stories about vendors swamping the bride with calls, request, etc. on the day of. Shonda was our coordinator and she was so responsive and accommodating. I'm someone that loves being in on the action and helping out, but the week before and day of my wedding, Shonda stepped up and made sure everything went smoothly. Now, I don't have experience with other coordinators, but I will say that from my research interviewing other coordinators, Shonda stands out in a few ways: 1. Value, 2: Responsiveness, 3: Experience. Shonda provided all the services we were looking for in a coordinator at a price that no other coordinator could compete with. She was willing to work with us at all hours of the day and find answers if she didn't know the answer to something. In the end, Shonda's experience coordinating other weddings was very apparent. She never stepped on any toes and was quick to give recommendations when we didn't know how to proceed. Everything didn't go seamlessly, partly due to our lack of clarity regarding detailed timing, but Shonda was able to work with all of our vendor to make last minute requests happen. Despite the hiccups, we couldn't have asked for a more special day. In the end, I still got to marry my best friend, and I hope this review reflects that Shonda did a great job!
