It's hard to overstate how happy we were with Allison and her second shooter Larissa's work on our wedding day. To some extent, of course, the photos speak for themselves, and I'd encourage you to visit her website to see more of what she can do. But what really meant so much to us was her calming presence and quiet confidence. In between shots, she reassured us that everything was totally under control and proceeding smoothly, which left us free to be present and truly experience our wedding. Our (gorgeous) photos are thus supplemented with actual, real memories—something some of our other married friends have told us is sadly rare. What a gift. -

We loved working with Allison for our wedding. She made us feel so comfortable taking photos. All the photos are so beautiful. We loved the documentary style of the photos, as well as the portraits and family photos. She is very professional and made sure we kept to a timeline. We felt very cared for and highly recommend her to any couple. -

I was looking for a photographer who shot in a more "documentary"/photojournalistic style for our wedding. I was so happy that Allison was available, as we were on a time crunch! She was easy to get a hold of and communicate with for any questions and concerns I had leading up to the big day. We had an amazing engagement shot with her (which we never had time to do until a week before the wedding) which helped us get comfortable with her and to get used to what we need to do for the big day. It takes some time to warm up to the camera, so I highly recommend scheduling your engagement session with her as well.
On the day of our wedding, Allison and her partner showed up on time. She was assigned to my bridal suite and her partner was assigned to my now husband's suite. In short, our photos are amazing. They were able to capture all of the shots from my "must have" shot list (and this was not a short list). Most of my favorite photos of the day are the more candid shots, as when I go through them, I feel like I'm reliving them. She gets a ton of unique shots, but also more posed/traditional shots as well. Your wedding day goes by so quickly and I'm so grateful to have this documentary style set of photos to help me to remember and relive our beautiful day. Allison is an amazing and professional photographer, but is also a super fun human; I can't recommend her enough for your wedding or any special event. -

We just received our wedding photos from Allison and we’re completely in love! She is literally everywhere but you can’t tell she’s there. She captured the most special moments and was specifically flexible with all the changes we had to make due to COVID. So many beautiful candid photos that it’s so difficult to choose our favorites- we love them all! Thank you, Allison! We’re so grateful to have met you. -

Working with Allison has been a complete joy to say the least. She has been generous beyond any expectation we had. She is fun, bubbly, and she runs around to capture the perfect shot of the perfect moment. She is dynamic and makes a potentially uncomfortable photo shoot an event that we will remember for the rest of our lives. I have heard so many horror stories of wedding photographers from friends and family, and I assure you Allison is the antithesis. We were blessed to work with her two times already and with our big wedding postponed for next year (due to covid), I am so excited to see her for a third time and to capture even more memories. Allison, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Your photographs capture the intimate, genuine, and fun moments that would have otherwise fluttered by. You have given us a gift that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you. We will see you in June 2021!!! -

Gorgeous photos!
Allison was such a joy to work with! We contacted her after we had to postpone our larger wedding due to COVID. She was available to discuss our wedding day almost right away on the phone and I knew she was the photographer for us! She is genuine, kind, and is a truly gifted photographer. On our wedding day, she arrived early and stayed later than expected to capture the most beautiful shots. She was only with us for a few hours, but the photos that resulted didn't make it seem like that! She went above and beyond our expectations and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding day. -

She came recommended to us by some professional photographer friends (and you know she’s good if the pros are recommending her), and when we saw her work online we were instantly captivated and eager to hire her! We are over-the-moon happy with what she produced—she is an expert at capturing moments in time, which makes her the perfect wedding photographer. Our wedding was a whirlwind and there are so many moments that flew by; thank goodness for Allison, who captured all of those little moments and details that we either missed or forgot given how swept up in the day we were. Beyond her true artistry, Allison is kind and warmhearted, flexible, and a true professional. She is a dream to work with and we highly recommend her for any engaged couple out there looking for a great photographer!

Joanna Sent on 10/16/2017If you're looking for a wedding photographer, stop your search now because you won't get anyone better than Allison. SHE IS SERIOUSLY AMAZING!! We got married in September 2017 and just received our photos last week - only took 4-5 weeks! I’ve already gone through all 1000+ images nearly 50 times and still can’t choose a favorite. Allison managed to capture every second of our special day so perfectly – every moment, emotion and detail – without us even realizing there was a camera in our face. We have a great selection of posed shots, but also the in-the-moment, candid shots that so clearly capture the energy, love and spirit of the day. She has allowed us to relive the best day of our lives over and over again and we’re forever thankful for that. Choosing the right wedding photographer is one of THE most important aspects of your wedding as you’ll look back at these photos for the rest of your lives. That’s why choosing Allison is the BEST decision you can make – you won’t regret it when you see the outcome! WE CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH ALLISON!!

User2383226 Sent on 10/22/2015I'd like to start out by saying that I never write reviews, but I found these reviews so helpful when vetting my own vendors that I feel obligated to contribute. I am so incredibly happy that we decided to work with Allison for our September 2015 wedding. She and her assistant Chris are so easy to work with! They both are so cheerful and laid back. We felt very comfortable working with them for our engagement shoot and on our wedding day! But even more importantly, we LOVE the way both our engagement and wedding pictures turned out! Allison has a great eye for light and I love how she played with it to emphasize different aspects of the photographs. I truly feel like our wedding photos are one of a kind. Although she happily worked with us to get several of the standard posed photos, we also have some really creative and unique shots (which is what we wanted) thanks to her! I cannot think of one single critique throughout the entire process of working with her (and I'm an attorney - I always have a critique). Do not hesitate to work with Allison. Choosing the right photographer is a very important decision, and I could not be happier with ours. -

Mai Sent on 11/10/2012Allison Williams and her assistant Chris Murphy captured so many amazing moments throughout our wedding ceremony and reception. They spent the ENTIRE day with us as we prepared and into the night all the way to our late-night snacks. Their photojournalism style best documents emotions, people's faces, stolen & funny moments that would have been lost to memory but somehow they immortalized them in photos. The portraits and candid shots are phenomenal and we are so grateful to have them. In terms of still life, the photos of the table centerpieces turned out gorgeous but we're still waiting on some decor scenes. Allison is very responsive during planning and answered all of our questions. She's a great professional to work with and our friends chose her to shoot their wedding in April 2013.
