I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amy and her team. They were absolute rockstars—detail-oriented, professional, and genuinely caring from start to finish. Our wedding day felt effortless and perfect because of them. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing; every detail was handled seamlessly. I would recommend All In The Detail Design to absolutely everyone.
And as if that wasn’t enough, when I mentioned I never got to try our wedding cookies, Amy had a box sent to my home a few weeks later. That level of thoughtfulness is rare. She truly goes above and beyond. -

Amy at All in the Detail Design truly lives up to her name—she has an incredible eye for detail and it shows in everything she does. I first met Amy when I was a bridesmaid at another wedding, and I remember thinking how amazing she was back then. So when it came time for my own wedding, reaching out to Amy was a no-brainer—and honestly, it was one of the best decisions I made.
Amy is such a joy to work with. One of the things that really sets her apart is her ability to lead. On the day of the wedding, she was absolutely incredible at guiding the wedding party and everyone involved, making sure everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to be doing. That level of leadership made everything run so smoothly and took so much stress off of us.
She also has an amazing eye for design. Amy helped us make decisions about the look and feel of the wedding that I never would have figured out on my own. The mock-ups we did beforehand were so helpful, and seeing it all come to life on the big day was honestly magical. Walking into our backyard and seeing how beautifully everything was set up—it was beyond anything I could have imagined.
We also had to deal with some last-minute weather issues since our wedding was outside, and that’s where Amy’s experience really shined. We were seriously considering changing venues, which would have been complicated and stressful, but Amy handled it all so calmly. She explored backup options, guided us through the decision-making process, and made sure we felt comfortable with whatever choice we made. In the end, we stuck with our original plan, got some umbrellas, and honestly, the light rain at the end of the night made it even more magical.
Amy also brought an incredible team with her. Megan was assigned to sort of walk with us throughout our wedding day, and she was truly amazing. She was always so attentive, constantly checking in to see if we needed anything—whether it was food, drinks, or just a moment to breathe. On top of that, she made sure we got photos of us during the day so we’d have some special memories right away. Megan’s warmth and care really made our day even more special. The other women helping that day were equally amazing, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we were taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for a better team.
If I have one piece of advice, it would be to go for the full design and planning package if you can. We did partial planning, which was still fantastic, but I can only imagine how seamless everything would have been with the full package. Amy is truly an amazing person and an incredible planner—I feel so lucky to have had her as part of our wedding day! -

Amy is incredible! She has an amazing eye for design and truly lives up to her name by paying attention to every detail. Amy was a fantastic leader on the wedding day, guiding the party and helping everything run smoothly. She also helped us navigate weather issues with ease, and her team, especially Megan, made our day even more special. We couldn't have asked for a better planner- she made our wedding unforgettable! -

Visionary planner with an excellent team. She has it all under control and makes you feel at ease but also listens to all your ideas and "must haves" for your big day. Tying all eh details together with "us" as well as the venue was big for us and her team did this perfectly. Amazing planner who helped us plan very two weddings
We hired Amy for not one but TWO weddings! Our small covid backyard wedding and six months later, for our larger reception. And we could not of had done any of the planning without her guidance. We had Amy and her team on as planners and they figured out the logistics of everything. Having a fall backyard wedding was great but I struggled with knowing what we actually needed (ie: plate rentals, setting up, making the space work, etc). Amy had all of the answers–it was awesome!
Our second wedding was in the summer and I had no idea how to make the rust color bridesmaids dresses work with a summer wedding. Amy was there to help us create a summer wedding color palette without having to get new bridesmaids dresses. She was respectful of our budget and only suggested details that would stay within our stated budget.
On the day of the wedding, she was amazing. She and her team clearly knew what to do and had all of the details sorted out beforehand. We absolutely loved working with Amy. I tell all of my engaged friends now to hire a planner and specially, hire Amy and her team. -

We had hired Amy and the AITDD team for coordination services for our original wedding date in April of 2020, and, as their more detailed work was just beginning, the news of lockdown for the pandemic rolled in. In a painful and confusing time not only for us, but also for our vendors and the world at large, Amy was there with up-to-date information, a listening ear, and a willingness to brainstorm ways to move through challenges with grace and optimism. Our rescheduled event in May 2021 was also canceled by our original venue last minute, and Amy was supportive of our choice to use as many of our original vendors as possible at a new venue at a vastly reduced micro-wedding size. These changes were surprisingly overwhelming on all fronts and required design updates that ultimately required the talented eye of and ability to execute quickly that only Amy (and her team) could pull off. Not only did her team go above and beyond what was detailed in our contract in support and design services -- the wedding itself was absolutely spectacular visually and was an exceptional experience for everyone involved. We didn't feel like our wedding was missing ANYTHING, even though it was so much smaller-- the adjustments that cultivated the intimacy of a micro group without sacrificing the vibes and "drama" of a larger wedding were everything. Amy and Ashley also brought (widely-noted) kind, positive, and fun energy into our experience which set the tone for the entire day! I could go on raving forever, but pictures speak louder than words. Book AITDD immediately and upgrade to design services -- you will be absolutely blown away. -

I was referred to All in the Detail Design through our venue’s (The Casino, San Clemente) preferred vendor list and I could not be happier with my experience. We hired Amy for design and day of coordination which was the perfect fit for us, since by the time I was looking for a coordinator we had already figured out many of the main vendors but needed help with bringing our vision to life. From our very first meeting, she really understood the direction we wanted to go and had lot of beautiful and creative ideas. I am very much a planner and I found Amy to be extremely communicative and calming in the months and days leading up to the wedding and she was always offering her professional opinion based on her experience in the business when I was having trouble making decisions. She also offered her expertise on biggest bang for the buck, and helped me scale back a few items accordingly, when I was trying to stay within budget (which is always a tough challenge 😊 )
While the pre-wedding experience was amazing, I would have to say the highlight for me personally was how smoothly the actual day of the wedding went. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing! Many people I know who have gotten married warned us before the wedding that something always goes wrong and just to roll with the punches, but that was definitely not the case here… those people obviously didn’t have Amy and the All in the Detail Design team! We had an absolute blast and didn’t worry about a single thing on the day of, I was completely stress free. Even my mom, who is the party planner and hostess in the family and had a little trouble letting go in this process, was blown away by how the day unfolded and was able to let loose and really enjoy herself! We had many of our guests saying this was the most organized and beautiful wedding they had ever been to.
If you want a patient, calming, creative and experienced planner that puts together stunning weddings… look no further! I cannot recommend Amy and her team highly enough. -

Amy was so wonderful to us on our big day!
Her steadfast guidance and calming presence during even the most chaotic parts of the day was such a relief. She gave us and our families the peace of mind to really be able to relax and enjoy every moment of the day.
I can’t tell you how much how I appreciated her gentle touch during the few moments I was fretful. It was incredibly reassuring to hear “it’s Ok, we’re all good!”- with that I could exhale and all my stresses vanished.
Even more importantly- my mom got to enjoy the day as well.
My mom is usually the planner of major events like this and it was important to me that she be given the opportunity to relax and enjoy the evening as well. She worked so hard in the years and months prior doing the brunt of the planning (I am not a great planner- with a notable exception in my decision to hire Amy!). It was vitally important to me that my mom have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of her labor as well. I wanted her to enjoy the day as much as I did (I don’t know if that’s truly possible because it was frankly the best day of my life).
I cannot fathom the burden of stress that Amy must have taken off of my mother’s shoulders, but I know by the smiles I’m seeing in the photos that she was relieved of them completely.
Having Amy there and coordinating all the moving pieces of this 4D chess set meant that me AND my family got to enjoy the day fully. We got an opportunity to truly be present with family and friends that came to celebrate with us from far away places and we got to revel in each of those special moments that only come once in a lifetime.
I am completely unaware of any hiccups throughout the day (if there were any!) and I am sure that was by design. It’s a Herculean effort to make a wedding look so flawless- and it was all done with grace and a smile. -

We owe everything to Amy for making our wedding a dream come true. I was a bit of an atypical bride because I only had strong feelings of few aspects of our wedding (flowers and vows). Amy basically speaks a secret wedding language and was able to turn all of my ideas into a gorgeous evening. Her organization and timeline of our day was on point! I felt like I was able to relax and enjoy our wedding because I knew that Amy would handle any issues that arose. (Naturally, none did because she had pre-planned beautifully! ) My parents were heavily involved in the planning process so there were times of emotion and stress. During these times, Amy jumped in and made sure everyone's voice was heard and offered genius suggestions to make the day perfect. I cannot imagine working with anyone else to plan our wedding. Amy is such a breath of fresh air and genuinely kindhearted person. Words do not do justice for all the love we felt through the planning process. We are forever grateful for Amy!! -

I got married at the end of March at Ole Hanson Beach Club in San Clemente. Amy did an amazing job! She was very thorough, made sure everything ran smoothly, and everything was on time. Amy was SO incredible throughout our entire wedding process! We hired her for month-of services, however she was extremely supportive and responsive even before our month-of began.
Our wedding day was IMPECCABLE thanks to her detailed timeline, attention to detail and her genuine care for my Husband and I to have the most amazing day possible. She never let us go without a drink in hand, made sure we were fed and if anything did go wrong, we weren't aware of it. We had a slight hiccup with a speech going too long, cutting into some of our photos- but Amy was along side us reassuring us that the photos were amazing, which they totally are! After that moment, it was party time and we had the most fun we have ever had, not worrying about a single detail since Amy had it all covered.
Our friends and family say it was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to and it wouldn't have been half that without Amy's help. We love Amy and highly recommend her services to anyone getting married in the OC/SoCal area. -

After meeting with Amy for an hour long introduction phone call I knew she was the right coordinator for me. She was already helping me make plans while keeping me calm. Amy worked closely with me after I had already set most of the design schemes and decisions in place. I came to her for month of coordination for my destination wedding in her home state of California. I suffer from anxiety, and was dealing with a lot of hardships in my family life. She was so responsive and attentive. Amy made sure to take care of every little detail and hurdle (60% chance of rain in LA!, furniture becoming unavailable etc etc) that we came across. I couldn't have done it without her. If I wasn't a designer, I would've hired her full service. We communicated entirely by email and phone. When I finally met her in person she was so warm and comforting - it was like having another family member/girlfriend there by my side. -

Amy did an amazing job making sure our wedding was well executed from the moment we brought her on. Every detail was accounted for and we felt confident that from the second we handed the reigns over, we didn't have to worry about a thing. She was patient and available, answering all of our quick questions promptly. She even gave us a fabulous recommendation for our wedding cakes that everyone agrees was one of the highlights of the event. All in all, I can't recommend Amy enough! -

Jennifer Sent on 09/16/2015We hired Amy for his month of services and I would highly recommend her to any bride. Having a coordinator is worth it! The day went so smoothly that all I had to worry about was getting where I needed to be on time. She worked wonderfully with my vendors and everyone was where they needed to be at the time they needed to be. I wasn't aware of any "emergencies" during the day, and any bride shouldn't have to.
Amy also has an amazing eye for detail, I didn't hire her for her design services, but I love all the pictures she posted of other couples' weddings. -

Hire Amy as your wedding planner, just do it. As a bride who did not have a bottomless budget for my wedding, I did not want to hire a wedding planner. I thought it was an unnecessary expense, and I was trying to save money wherever possible. However, my wedding venue required that I hire a wedding planner, and I will be eternally grateful for that. Amy provided a detailed schedule for the entire day of the wedding, and let me say, what a life saver! I've been to weddings pre and post marriage, and I have yet to experience a wedding day as organized, relaxing, and beautiful as my wedding day. (Yes, I am aware that I am totally biased.) But Amy and her team truly did help make my wedding vision come to life! The setup was exactly what I envisioned, the relationships she formed with my other vendors was admirable, the way she treated my family and friends was amazing, and as a bride, she helped make my wedding day seamless, beautiful, fun, and everything I had ever dreamed of. My family and I were so impressed with Amy and her team and we are so grateful for everything she did to help make the happiest day of our lives just that. Thanks Amy! -
