If I could do a photoshoot with Ali once a week... I would! For a girl who feels uncomfortable in front of the camera, Ali does an amazing job of making it fun, comfortable, silly, special, and easy. I got to work with Ali for my wedding back in August, and we did a photoshoot for my own business recently and it was simply the best! The photos are perfection and we had so much fun taking them! Our wedding photos are completely and totally fabulous. They are authentic, fun, unique and make you want to dance! Ali was my first thought for a photographer to help photograph my business -

Where do I even begin with Ali?! Hiring her was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. For context: my now-husband would be the first to tell you that being in front of a camera is… not his thing. Think Chandler Bing during the engagement photo episode of Friends... the stiff smile, the panic, the “is this my face?!” energy. That was the expectation going in. And yet… somehow, magically, Ali turned him into someone who not only tolerated photos, but genuinely enjoyed them.
From our adventure session (which we LOVED and was a huge reason we fell in love with her style prior to booking; so much more “us” than a traditional, staged engagement shoot) to the wedding day itself, Ali made everything feel effortless. She has this incredibly professional yet completely down-to-earth presence that instantly puts you at ease. Nothing ever felt forced or overly posed. Her aesthetic is so natural and timeless, and she captures moments in a way that feels real, not manufactured.
On our wedding day, she was incredible. Half the time we forgot she was even there, yet she somehow captured everything... the big emotional moments and the tiny in-between ones we didn’t even realize were happening. And when it came to group photos, I’ve never seen someone move so efficiently and gracefully while keeping the vibe light and fun. No chaos, no stress. Just seamless execution.
And then there are the photos themselves. Absolutely. Stunning. Every single image feels like a work of art, but also deeply personal. They don’t just show what our wedding looked like, they capture what it felt like.
Beyond her insane talent, Ali is one of the sweetest humans I have ever met. She has the biggest heart and pours so much care into her couples. By the end of the weekend, she didn’t just feel like our photographer, she felt like family. And honestly, she is now.

The best!
From the very beginning, Ali made Eric and me feel completely at ease, like we were simply spending time with a close friend who just happened to have an incredible talent behind the camera.
On a day filled with so many emotions, moving parts, and once-in-a-lifetime moments, Ali had this calm, grounding presence that made everything feel effortless. She guided us naturally when we needed direction, yet somehow managed to capture the most beautiful candid moments when we didn’t even realize she was there.
When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away. Every image tells a story. She didn’t just photograph our wedding, she captured the magic, the joy, the happy tears, the laughter, and all the tiny in-between moments that made the day uniquely ours. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the entire celebration from start to finish.
Her eye for light, detail, and emotion is extraordinary. The portraits are stunning, the ceremony shots are breathtaking, and the reception photos are full of life and energy. She perfectly preserved the love we felt and the spirit of everyone who was there.

Ali photographed my multicultural wedding back in August, and four months later I still find myself swooning over our photos every single day. I truly can’t put into words how happy it makes me to look back on these memories and see how beautifully and thoughtfully they were captured. Every expectation I had set in my head while dreaming of my wedding photos was surpassed by miles when I saw what Ali captured for us.
Beyond being an incredibly talented photographer, Ali was an absolute JOY to have with us throughout our wedding weekend. During a time that can feel overwhelming and stressful as the bride, she was calm, collected, and so genuinely fun to be around. She worked seamlessly alongside our planners to keep us on schedule and ensure we got the photos we wanted, while also making it very clear that I could opt out of any moment if I wanted to stay present and simply be with my people. My bridesmaids literally could not stop talking about how cool she was (and I agree 100%).
She captured us so authentically without ever making the weekend feel like a photoshoot, which I appreciated more than I can say. One of my favorite parts of looking through our gallery is seeing how many incredible photos we have of our guests. Scrolling through the images feels like reliving the entire weekend, not just seeing portraits of my husband and me (even though those are, of course, stunning). From seeing our guests’outfits, reactions, and candid moments, Ali captured the energy, joy, and emotion of everyone we love, and it truly takes me right back.
From start to finish, our experience with Ali was flawless. She is so communicative, professional, talented, and genuinely kind. I could not recommend her more to anyone planning their wedding. Ali & Garrett are absolutely amazing
We first met Ali & Garrett when they photographed another family members’ wedding, and then had the pleasure to see them again for a second family members’ wedding! Naturally it was an easy choice to consider them for ours, and we were so amazed by the experience our family had when it was our turn! To start, before we even began talking about any photography needs, Ali was super helpful with providing advice on Colorado-based vendors we could consider. She was SO knowledgeable about venues, planners, food vendors, and DJs from her experiences at previous weddings.
When we moved into working with them, Ali sent us a variety of quotes to consider so we could craft and decide upon our photography needs for the big event. She was super flexible to make sure we could accomplish what made sense for our budget. We were also so appreciative that they provide an Adventure Session to get us comfortable in front of the camera, as well as get some fun pre-wedding photos that we could use while planning. Ali was super accommodating with our request to meet in Idaho Springs and hike up to St Mary’s Glacier during our session. We had so much fun with her that afternoon!
Leading up to the wedding, Ali was very organized with planning the day’s photo schedule, determining the groupings of family & wedding party members, as well as collaborating with our videographer. The pre-wedding photos went so smoothly thanks to Ali corralling people into place, and she provided solid direction to make sure the photos would look fantastic. When it came to the wedding & reception, Ali acted like a fly on the wall but a sniper with the camera, and the photos turned out beautifully!! She captured so many great moments with wonderful angles and raw emotion.
My husband and I are could not be more grateful for all of Ali’s help - not just for the photography but for also being a trusted guide throughout the wedding planning process. If you’re looking for wonderful humans who are thoughtful, easy to work with, and know how to run a tight ship while also having fun, look no further. Incredible Proposal & Engagement Photos
Ali is INCREDIBLE. She’s truly the most skilled, creative, and versatile photographer that I’ve ever met. I proposed to my fiancé after taking her out on a private plane, landing at a regional airport, and walking her out of the plane to a spot that Ali had helped me set up. Ali was able to capture every moment of the experience, which will allow us to remember and cherish those moments forever.
Not only is she a talented photographer, but she’s a kind-hearted and caring individual. When planning out the proposal, she helped me with recommendations, ideas, and setup. It meant the world that I had someone who actually cared and was invested in making sure the day was meaningful. Because of her, the proposal went smoothly and was stress-free. She had such a huge amount of patience when dealing with my indecision and last minute ideas, and I’m just so grateful for her.
In addition to photographing the actual engagement, she also took photos at the surprise engagement party and took official engagement pictures for us the next day. She worked very quickly and was able to get us some edits the day of the proposal so we had something to post on social media. The rest of the edits had a very quick turnaround time.
Ali went above and beyond to make me and my fiancé’s engagement so special. It’s a day that we’ll remember and celebrate forever.
My fiancé and I are so grateful for her and would highly recommend her for any type of engagement or wedding shoot. She travels, she takes fantastic pictures, she has great ideas, and I’m confident that she can make help you make your special day come true. -

Imagine feeling like your best friends are taking your wedding photos (even if you’ve only met them a couple times). That is exactly what you get with the dynamic duo that is Ali & Garrett. They are not only professional, talented, artistic and creative but also two of the nicest humans you could possibly work with on your wedding day. Working with them was honestly one of our highlights from our wedding weekend. They were there when you needed them, helping direct us to make us feel more comfortable, but also had an incredible way to fade into the background and capture the best candids.
If there is one thing I could recommend, it's hiring Ali & Garrett for your wedding photography and also doing an adventure shoot for your engagement photos to get to know them beforehand. After our adventure session, I already felt great about hiring them and totally comfortable working with them. After seeing our wedding photos I can say without a doubt there is nobody in Colorado who can do what they do while making you feel as comfortable as they do. We would hope to work with them for any milestones or photo-worthy occasions post wedding.

Pick them now!
Ali and Garrett were the first vendor we picked for our wedding and were with us every step of our two year engagement. Ali did a spectacular job capturing real smiles and emotions during our adventure session and got the most natural pictures of my husband and I. For our wedding, they both went above and beyond to get special pictures of our family members and each moment of joy from our day. Ali is more than a photographer, and was so supportive throughout all parts of the day, helping put everyone at ease and brought such a wonderful energy to the whole day. Garrett was so mindful of scoping out spots for our late night photos and got some of our favorite shots from the wedding. They are an unstoppable duo and we could not be more grateful to have worked with them! -

The best decision you will make
If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Ali & Garrett were incredible from the jump. From our first introduction call, I felt so comfortable with them! Ali really listened to all of my wants and needs and made me feel like we had been friends for quite some time. They are both incredible people and so easy to get along with! For our engagement session, we went to the mountains and they captured what my Husband and I like doing most: being with our dog in the mountains and having fun. We did some jeeping, paddle boarded, and even jumped in the lake. Ali was so much fun and made it feel so natural! The day of the wedding, they were exactly what every couple wants in their photographers. They had the perfect balance from helping direct us when needed for family photos to letting us just enjoy our wedding day and capturing the natural moments! It was so nice having both Ali & Garrett as she was able to be in my bridal getting ready space and capture those moments, and he was able to be with my husband and all of the guys. It was so nice that no moments were missed! Every single photo came out better than expected. Do yourself a favor and hire Ali & Garret so you are able to relax and know that your photos will be INCREDIBLE. -

Ali and Garrett were such a wonderful part of our wedding and planning process. They made me and my husband feel at ease, which resulted in some truly stunning photos. We were blown away by the final product and it has been so difficult to narrow down my favorite photos because there are so many. They did a beautiful mix of shots of us as a couple and our guests which is so special. And day of they went above and beyond to help our wedding run smoothly, Garrett even helped with my bustle!
What truly sets Ali and Garrett apart is their ability to capture emotion. In both my adventure session photos and my wedding day photos, you can feel the genuine love and laughter come through in their work. They captured our wedding so beautifully and I am beyond grateful. -

Ali and Garrett are truly the best. My husband and I got married over a year ago, and we still regularly tell each other "Ali and Garret are so good" whenever we think back on our wedding because we love the way they captured our day-- not only the photos of us, but our whole crew and guests.
We wanted photos that would show all the moments, big and small.
Since getting our photos, we've printed out some of our favorites and framed them. We are also able to print and easily share them. Any photos that included awesome shots of our guests and wedding party, we mailed copies individually with our thank yous, something everyone really appreciated!
Ali did all of the communicating with us and she was always there throughout the planning process. I still remember the first phone call we had with her and appreciated how she was genuinely interested in my husband and my story and who we are as people.
Ali and Garrett dealt with hiccups in our timeline with grace and understanding. They are fun, kind, honest, professional, and all around gems of humans, not to mention a wonderful team! -

Ali & Garrett Photography Can't Be Topped
Ali is truly remarkable. My husband and I do NOT do well with posed photos and have struggled with engagement and family photos in the past. We loved that instead of posing us and coming to wedding day with a bunch of ideas, she captured us exactly as we were. The few sneak peeks we've seen have absolutely melted our hearts. She captured moments that we thought were lost but she was always there. She is kind, funny and personable. Beyond capturing our most special day, she felt like family and we felt empowered and comfortable to be exactly ourselves. I couldn't imagine our wedding day without her. In the midst of some craziness she was always smiling and always checking in on us and that extra dose of love from her is what sets her apart from every other photographer. If you don't book her for your special events you will be making a huge mistake!! -

Hire them, do it now and don't look back.
Ali and Garrett were recommended to us by our planner because of our "vibe" - we're relaxed, authentic, intentional, and joyful, and wanted the same energy from our photography team. Little did we know we were being introduced to this incredible wife-husband team who would help make our wedding day an absolute dream, and be the best friends we needed in those little moments throughout the day. They are completely professional and confident, and have amazing eyes for the right moments. We wanted mostly candid photos of our wedding, where the joy and love of the event was captured, more so than all of the "posed" traditional pictures. We did take posed pictures of course, but they were painless and very organized. They made sure we had all of our needs met with who in our family/friends we wanted photos with, and they also worked seamlessly with the other vendors, especially the videography team. We were with them for 10 hours or more that day, and honestly I missed them once the day was over.
Ali and I became close over social media in the year leading up to the wedding just by happenstance - we have similar senses of humor and she's ridiculously easy to laugh with. By the time the wedding came along, I felt like I had a friend taking pictures of me, and she even helped pick out the right lip color for me on my wedding day (I will forever be grateful for that, I couldn't think straight that day!). Garrett was with my fiance during the first half of the day, and I know his energy brought calm and humor to my fiance's morning. Once I actually met Garrett, I could see why he and Ali make such an incredible team (and couple!)...the kindness, sense of humor, empathy, and vision they share between them is seriously otherworldly to witness. They blended in seamlessly into our day and with our guests, while capturing all of these beautiful, REAL moments. They are full of joy and creativity, and they bring their expertise and open-minded energy to the table from the beginning of the process. More than anything else, they brought peace with them, a joyful, loving peace that is easy to forget to cultivate on such a big day. They live and breathe that energy, and it kept us in the moment of the day that much more.
In such an image-obsessed world, I know I'm incredibly hard on myself (as we all are) with how I look in photos. The photos they took were so beautiful and captured so much authenticity, that just looking at them brings me back to the joy of that day, to the love that surrounded us. The worries I had about vanity or a double chin or tubby tummy fade away quickly when I see what they were able to capture with their insane talent and vision. I couldn't be more grateful for that gift....it's invaluable to both of us.
Thank you Ali & Garrett - you were our confidants, hand holders, and joke-sharers that day. We laughed so much with you guys, and it made the day that much more beautiful. All the joy and love we felt was captured beautifully, and we are so grateful to have them forever. -

You want this duo at your wedding!!! The best decision.
We hired Ali and Garrett as our wedding photographers and could not be more impressed and elated with their professionalism and skill level that produced the most beautiful memories captured for us. They are extremely communicative, attentive to their clients’ vision, timely in their work, and just so beautifully talented.
We loved Ali and Garrett’s photography for our wedding so much that we hired them again for our maternity photos. We wanted candid photos to remember our first pregnancy by, and Ali did a perfect job at capturing the spirit of my husband and I authentically and beautifully. The quality and coloring of her photos is spectacular. I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome and would recommend her 10/10. She goes above and beyond for her clients to make sure their vision is achieved — I’ve been impressed with her professionalism each time I’ve worked with her, and am always elated with the photos she produces. No regrets at all on hiring Ali and Garrett. such gorgeous photos and brought such positive and calm energy to our wedding. Our wedding was delayed for almost an hour due to some major car crash on the highway that prevented shuttles from arriving on time and she still managed to get the most important photos in after the ceremony with limited sunlight left. my bridal party enjoyed her sense of humor and relaxed nature. they really know how to capture the moment without everything appearing too staged. also I should mention our adventure pictures completely blew us away!! Hire them. they are worth every penny. -

Having my picture taken is truly in my top ten list of things I detest the most and I had a GREAT time with this team! Never did anything feel forced or awkward and I was able to thoroughly enjoy the day without feeling like I needed to stop and pose for anything. On top of that they're just great people who I would have been delighted to have at my wedding even if they weren't there to take pictures. Lastly, the actual picture they got from our wedding and our adventure session are OUTSTANDING! The photos are timeless in their quality and style. I can't recommend these two enough. They were the best choice we made for our day and we made some good choices. -

Best experience capturing our favorite day!
Having a photographer that would capture our wedding was the most important piece to our wedding planning for me and my husband. We wanted to remember this day by looking back on photos to cherish all the love and memories.
After meeting with Ali we knew we had to hire them for our wedding! Planning our wedding out of state was stressful, but Ali kept us very well informed so we had no stress in regards to our photo planning. We had only been to our venue twice, once when we toured and another when we picked the layout for the reception. Ali helped us plan great locations for our first look and family photos because she is very familiar with the venue we chose.
We did have an adventure shoot with Ali before our wedding. It was such a fun way to celebrate our engagement without having the same posed pictures. For our shoot we had a picnic. The adventure shoot started with us shopping for our picnic items and ended with us playing yard games. It was perfect for us!
Neither my husband or myself love getting our picture taken, so having someone that we felt comfortable around was important to us to not feel awkward!
In our first meeting with Ali we expressed our concerns for our awkwardness in front of cameras. She made sure we knew that we could just be ourselves and the phots would come easily.
On the day of our wedding Ali was with the girls for most of the getting ready period while Garret was with the guys as they got ready. When it was finally time for our first look I was surprised at how calm Shaun (my groom) seemed. He said Garret had made the morning so easy! He knew that all the photos were going to be great and no awkwardness because he felt so comfortable around both of them.
I have a very big/loud family and I was dreading the posed family pictures. Trying to coordinate all 20ish of us with young children was something I knew would be chaotic. We made a list of photo lineups that we wanted captured to help with the chaos which did help a lot! They made sure everyone was ready and even managed to keep most of the exhausted kids smiling through it all!
We also used a photo booth from Ali and garret for our guestbook. Our wedding guest had fun with all the props! My favorite part of it was having digital copies of the all the photo booth pictures from the night.
If you’re on the fence about hiring Ali and Garett let me just tell you a few things that might help with your decision. Our wedding photos are stunning because of Ali and Garret’s work! My parents and in laws look at the pictures almost daily ( so do we). Our photo album is on our entry table at our house so everyone that comes in can see the highlights of our favorite day! Many of my guest and wedding party members still talk about how amazing they were at our wedding! My older sister still comments that she wished she had them for her wedding!
We absolutely could not have had our wedding photographed by anyone else and would choose them again without hesitation! -

We were so lucky to come across Ali & Garrett, they were truly the best investment we made in our wedding. My Dad is a professional photographer, therefore pictures were at the very top of my priority list. From the very beginning, Ali answered all (and I mean ALL) of my questions and made me feel at ease about working with her and Garrett. However, I had to be sure that my now husband felt the same. This was the tricky part as he is very private and was not looking forward to being photographed throughout the day. Immediately after we met in person, he told me that he felt he had known them for a long time and was excited to work with them! It was an instant connection.
Throughout the whole process Ali went above and beyond for us. In order to tell our story she worked to learn about us and our relationship, she wasn't solely focused on the wedding day itself. This truly shines in all of their photos. Another one of the reasons that I was drawn to them was the adventure session. Instead of a typical posed engagement session, we got to do one of our favorite things! We took our dog snowshoeing and had a picnic (bonus - Ali & Garrett love dogs). Ali even threw in a mini adventure session so we could get our save the dates out a bit early.
Leading up to the big day, Ali made sure that everything was taken care of. On the day of the wedding there was really nothing to think about, Ali & Garrett had it all covered! They were so much more than photographers throughout the whole process, but especially that day. From helping with our dog, to bustling my dress, they are truly irreplaceable. We got our photos less than three weeks after the wedding which was the best surprise! We could not be happier with them. It was so much fun reliving the day, seeing the small details and moments that we missed. Our wedding was truly a dream, and we are so thankful that Ali & Garrett captured it so perfectly. -

Bottom line - we believe there is no better choice for a photographer than Ali and Garrett. Picking a photographer was a major stress point for my husband and I. After all, good photos aren’t cheap, and it’s hard to feel like there is any kind of guarantee since once your day is over, there aren’t any do-overs. We interviewed a number of photographers, but when we met Ali & Garrett, we were instantly impressed. Not only did they have a wealth of experience, but we felt like we really connected with them and could openly communicate what we were looking for in our photos. We stopped looking and paid our deposit right after our first meeting.
One of the things they offer is an “adventure session” - a way to capture the less formal and more natural side of the relationship. We struggled to figure out an “adventure” that expressed who we are as a couple, so it was really wonderful to have Ali emphasize that our adventure session didn’t have to conform to any particular type of structure, that we should just have fun with it. We ended up getting some really amazing, unposed photos that we absolutely love. We highly recommend doing an engagement/adventure session, because it’s an opportunity to capture another side of the relationship, and really gives you an idea of how your photographers are going to interact with you and how their photos are going to turn out. We were more than thrilled at the photos from our session, and feel that they were definitely representative of what we ended up getting on our wedding day.
On the day of our wedding, it felt very strange to have Ali & Garrett be such a big part of our day and yet be so invisible. And it was nice to have one photographer pretty much dedicated each of us during the getting-ready time. They ended up being more than just the photographers, taking care of minor little nit-piks (like identifying whether the groomsmen were supposed to be wearing cufflinks or buttons). During our wedding, we sometimes wondered if they were still even there. We almost never saw them (minus when we had to do particular photos, like the family portraits, etc), but they captured so many details of our wedding and so many perfect moments without us even noticing.
The photos were returned to us on schedule (including sneak-peaks so that we could share some with our guests ahead of time), and they turned out better than we could have imagined.
We don’t regret a single thing about hiring Ali and Garrett - they captured every portrait we asked for and every moment we couldn’t have known to ask for. The entire experience with Ali & Garrett was beyond expectations, and if given the opportunity, we’d gladly hire them again! -

September 15th Wedding
We chose Ali and Garrett for our wedding photographers for our September 15th wedding in Estes Park and couldn't have been more happy that we chose them! I worked with Ali months before our wedding and she made sure every detail was covered. Ali is so sweet and kind yet extremely professional. Ali and Garrett made our wedding day so fun and memorable! When my husband and I received our wedding album from Ali and Garrett (very quickly after the wedding), we laughed, cried and couldn't believe how much Ali and Garrett captured behind the scenes. We got to re-live our wedding day just by looking at our pictures and that's exactly how you should feel every time you look back at pictures. They stayed with us the entire day and never seemed rushed or hurried to get the pictures done. We are so, so incredibly thankful that we chose this talented duo. Ali and Garrett thank you!! -

Everything from our initial meeting to our engagement photos to our wedding day was seamless, professional, and beautiful. Ali has a true gift of capturing the most genuine and sincere moments. These two went above and beyond! They knew how much we wanted a videographer however it wasn't in our budget. Ali and Garrett surprised us with videotaping our entire ceremony!!! This is that extra something about them that makes them better than the best. My now husband is not one to take pictures and you would never know! They made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Michelle Sent on 10/12/2012Ali and Garrett are an INCREDIBLE team. From the second we met them we knew we wanted them to photograph our wedding. They are so personable and you can tell they truly enjoy what they do and want the best for their clients. Once our engagement session was done we just couldn't believe how lucky we got. We received so many compliments on the engagement photos, being told numerous times that they're the best people have seen. Between the engagement and wedding Ali & Garrett sent us questionnaires to get to know us better, put together a website for us, sent thoughtful gifts and all around made us feel so special! Our wedding day was exactly what we wanted and we received so many compliments on how wonderful our photographers were. We loved that they were up to doing a makeshift photo booth and they even brought some props for people to use! Everyone loved it. They also played a slideshow during the reception and we absolutely loved that our guests could get a glimpse of the pictures right away. Finally, the pictures arrived. One word sums them up: AMAZING. It's nearly impossible to narrow down just a few favorites because they are all simply beautiful (thankfully they put together the perfect slideshow for us to share with family & friends). We could never repay them for the priceless memories they captured and how perfectly they could capture them. We truly feel like we won the lottery finding Ali & Garrett.
