Another Great Event at The Thursday Club

I had The Pleasure of Working with Alexis Atelier At Thursday Club for the first time for Matt and Justin's Beautiful Sunday Brunch Wedding! From our first e-mail Contact to the Wedding finale, Everything went Perfectly. She was obviously an experienced professional and I look forward to working with her again, at The Very special Club!

Amazing person to work with

I am a wedding and Quinceañera photographer from san diego and had the privilege of working along alexis this past November 10th at Matt and Justin wedding and let me tell you, she was so easy to work with. As a photographer i always do what ever it takes to get my clients the best photos of their once in a lifetime day and alexis made it possible that day too, allowing me go over the plans for that day but also keeping it professional and enjoyable for them too, she kept me updated of everything the complete day and always a great smile and positive making everyone feel like in home!

Enjoy your day, no stress!

Our venue required a day-of coordinator, and I'm so glad it did, because it brought us together with Alexis! We were on an "express" timeline to get our wedding planned and executed, and even though we only opted for the "month-of" option, Alexis was there for us every step of the way. While most of the preparation was up to us, she was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction, making suggestions, giving feedback, and reminding us of which big-ticket items needed to be prioritized. And as soon as the 30-day mark came, she kicked it into high gear, organizing all the events, timelines, vendors, and deliveries. She coached us through our last minute decisions and to-do lists making sure that we didn't forget or overlook ANYTHING!

The wedding went perfectly! We didn't have to worry about anything, and any minor snafus were immediately resolved. We were left to enjoy our day. I honestly can't even imagine if we were trying to do this on our own... it would've been a disaster...

Alexis helped my husband and I create a personalized design plan for our wedding as well as taking over vendor coordination and planning from about a month before our wedding. I was really struggling with creating a unique and cohesive design plan for our wedding, Alexis sat down with us and created a design plan that was absolutely amazing. The design plan was a great tool to share with our florist and other vendors to keep our wedding theme consistent. In addition, having a cohesive plan helped me stay focused throughout the planning process when it came to decor decisions. Whenever I had any questions during the wedding planning process Alexis was quick to respond and thorough in her response. She was always honest and straightforward which I appreciated. I used her recommendations for our DJ and caterer and was very pleased with both of their services. Our actual wedding day was absolutely perfect and stress free thanks to Alexis and her assistants. i didn't have to worry about a thing and am so happy we chose to hire Alexis for our wedding day. You won't be disappointed!

Alexis is a PERFECT human being. She is fun, energetic, and super organized. Everything you want when looking for a wedding planner. My husband and I did not think we needed a wedding planner but after finding Alexis, we knew we needed to book her. Through out the whole process, she was so easy to get a hold of with any questions we had. When it got to the month of (which is what we booked her for) she was on top of everything. I could not have imagined surviving that last month of wedding planning without her. She had things done before I could even think about needing to do them. The timeline she puts together is amazing (even my grandmother was shocked at how organized it was), it literally lays out your wedding day minute by minute, which helps relieve stress on the wedding day. The day of, Alexis and her husband (her assistant for the day), were beyond amazing. They were always making sure we were great, had everything we needed, and everything was running as planned. She was amazing about shifting around the timeline on the day of to fit our spontaneous needs for unplanned picture moments. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to Salt Creative Co. If anything went wrong, we didn't know about it, and that is how it should be on your wedding day. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, BOOK ALEXIS. She is a hidden gem in this crazy wedding world.

Alexis was such a pleasure to work with! I was the florist for one of her weddings and she was great!! She answered all of my emails very quickly and was always informative and helpful. She was very professional and organized. She was also very friendly and easy to get along with. I highly recommend Alexis to future brides!

I am a professional musician and I worked with Salt Creative Co. at a beautiful wedding at the Avalon Resort and Spa in Palm Springs. I'm taking the time to write this review because I've worked with a lot of coordinators in my years as a wedding professional. Alexis not only made the wedding look and run flawlessly, but she was friendly, relaxed and professional through the entire process. This was very refreshing for me as a vendor and I'm sure her energy made the day extra special and enjoyable for the couple as well.

Alexis rocks! I have never heard anyone say that they had absolutely no issues on their wedding day and I am here to tell you that I had absolutely no issues on my wedding day! Or if I did Alexis took care of it and I didn't hear a word or notice a thing!
I would recommend her over and over a million times! She was so calm and professional. The month before the wedding she handled all the communication with my vendors, making the most stressful time of wedding planning an breeze. Alexis is so organized and thinks of the most minuscule details that you would never imagine thinking about. ALL of these details make a huge impact on the flow of the day and I would have missed so many of them if I didn't hire her. She is worth every penny and then some!

I can't imagine a better planner. Alexis is a real, down-to-earth person in a sea of wedding vendors, but her natural abilities and skills make her the perfect person for the job. Few people have the right combo of creative energy and super organization, but Alexis has it all! She was just the right amount of tough, keeping us on track and on budget, while been open and sensitive to what we wanted every step of the way. Not to mention, the services she provided (even taking care of invitations/rsvps completely! Hand-dyed napkins?!) went so above and beyond what we paid. I never really thought I wanted a planner, but it turns out this was the best decision we made. We had the absolute perfect day for us, and she made that happen! We could relax, enjoy, and trust her completely to have everything run smoothly and come out beautifully. I couldn't recommend Salt Creative more. A truly talented planner and designer and a great person to work with. What a gem!!

Such a pleasure to work with Alexis. She's truly a pro at what she does. Her attention to detail and the way she gets to know her clients and what they're all about really elevates the entire wedding experience for everyone involved. As an officiant I don't always get included by the coordinator until the last minute, so it was great to have Alexis reach out to me early and keep me informed with everything I needed to know to do my job. I am a makeup artist in the wedding industry. I had the pleasure to work with Alexis through Diane and Chris's wedding. Alexis is so talented, creative, organized, and such a pleasure to work with! Definitely one of the MOST attentive and organized coordinators in SoCal. In every event, we would always work with coordinators, but Alexis and her team are very hands on and very accommodating to vendor's needs on the day. Alexis was the best decision ever! I was frantic the month of my wedding and she was so organized and broke everything down that I needed to do in each email and just made everything really easy. She was a godsend the day of my wedding. I barely remember the day but I could ask her any question and she was there with an answer and made the whole day go according to plan. I felt like I could really trust Alexis throughout the entire process. She gave great recommendations for other vendors (my flowers were gorgeous and I had a great DJ etc) and she had an amazing attitude throughout the whole process that made it nice to work with her. I would highly recommend her as a wedding planner to anyone getting married.

Right from the beginning, we felt very comfortable working with Alexis. We could tell by her enthusiasm that she had a genuine desire to make our event a special one. We were also impressed by how well she captured the essence of our interests and tastes and turned them into a beautiful design vision. Besides her creativity and great eye for color, we also appreciated how Alexis kept us on schedule and well-informed during the planning process. She referred us to great vendors and answered our endless questions. At the wedding itself, she kept everything on track and moving smoothly. Alexis was AMAZING! She was very professional, on top of every detail, yet, easygoing, and a pleasure to work with. I heard the guests complimenting the quality and variety of food, everything was unique, delicious, and beautifully presented. The stations were very tastefully presented and her staff were most attentive.
We met briefly for a walk through of the venue a month before and she gave me a task timeline that was concise, detailed and easy to understand.
I would highly recommend her to anybody in need of an event planner. It's always a pleasure to work with the top professionals in the industry!

We could not have even imagined our wedding without Alexis! She took our random ideas and made them into a cohesive design--a beautiful wedding beyond our wildest dreams. Alexis was this mother of the bride's best friend! Thanks to her, our wedding planning was organized, on time, and complete. Her input during the planning phase helped make our daughter's wedding unique and representative of the couple's personalities while still being elegant and traditional. Most importantly, on the big day EVERYONE got to enjoy every aspect of the wedding and reception. Alexis handled all of the set up and clean up, managed any questions or special needs, and kept us on schedule. All of this was done with a very calm and nonintrusive demeanor. We were very lucky to have her input and guidance!

Alexis and Evoke Events by Design are AWESOME! Alexis was SO great to work with. She's super friendly and approachable, which made it a breeze working with her. All of the set up went smoothly and she clearly gave direction to all of the vendors involved to pull the event together. She has a keen eye for design and her hard work really showed! Alexis did a fantastic job as coordinator for my daughter’s wedding. She’s detailed, organized, flexible, helpful and confident. Communication was perfect leading up to the wedding and on the day had everything moving perfectly. She took care of the last minute details, took care of the behind the scene items and let us enjoy the day. She did an excellent job!

As a DJ, I am often both excited and nervous when the client has hired a coordinator. A good coordinator can make a wedding amazing or create lots of stress! I had the opportunity to work with Evoke Event Design for the first time and I was blown away. From the very first email to the last song of the night Alexis was absolutely amazing to work with. She was organized, thorough, and managed the wedding flawlessly. It was truly a pleasure working with Alexis. I would highly recommend her to any couple looking for a coordinator!

I am writing this review as a vendor (florist) that had the pleasure of working with Alexis on a wedding. Weddings can sometimes get a little crazy and disorganized if you don't have a coordinator who is on top of every detail, but this was so not the case with Evoke. Everything was planned and mapped out to the smallest detail BEFORE the wedding date, which is key!! I got to the venue to deliver and set up, found Alexis, calm and collected (not the case with a lot of planners), she told me what to do and was happily on my way! Easy-peasy. Highly recommend her to any bride looking for a stress free day!

Alexis from Evoke Event Design and Coordination far exceeded all the expectations we had for a "month-of" wedding coordinator. From the time we hired her 4-5 months before the wedding, she was quick to respond to all my emails, questions, and provide insight on things to consider when planning certain details. It was so nice to bounce ideas off of someone who has such tremendous experience.

The month before the wedding, she was so thorough in preparing to-do lists, maintaining communication with all our vendors for us so we weren't bombarded with tons of emails, sending us reminders for action items, and resolving any issues that came up for us promptly. As thorough of a planner as I generally am, I definitely felt overwhelmed going into the last month of planning and Alexis alleviated so much of that stress for us.

Our wedding day was flawless and neither my husband or I had to tend to anything besides enjoying our day completely. We both were able to relax beforehand knowing Alexis was coordinating the entire set-up with our venue and vendors, and during the wedding she kept us on schedule so that we didn't have to think of when to do each traditional thing. Our day was PERFECT!

Even if you're a detailed planner, making the investment for Alexis as your coordinator is SO worth it! Her prices are extremely reasonable and she will allow you to take in and enjoy your wedding day to the fullest!

My company provided hair and makeup services for a wedding for which Alexis was the planner. She was beyond helpful in the planning stages and acted as a go between for us, ensuring that we had everything that we needed without having to bother the bride.
She was constantly checking in on us to make sure that we had what we needed and made herself available to us should we need any help on the big day. Above all else she was extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is getting married as she is super-organized and really seems to focus on taking over everything that the bride really shouldn't have to worry about so that they can have a fun time planning the wedding as well as enjoying the big day itself.

Alexis was great, very organized, professional and very calm!! The wedding was put together so nicely and everything was on time and the wedding time line flowed perfectly! I have worked with a lot of planners and Alexis was outstanding!

My husband and I hired Alexis as a "Day of Coordinator" for our Wedding. She went above and beyond! Her services started far before the day of the wedding. She was there for our event walk through, led our rehearsal, took care of all the coordination with our different vendors, and much more. Because of Alexis, everything ran perfectly on our wedding day, and we definitely could NOT have done it without her. I would highly recommend Evoke Event Design and Coordination for your wedding.

Alexis was such a pleasure to work with right from the start. She always knew what was taking place and at what time and made it seamless for our job as videographers. We rely on the coordinator a lot during the day and Alexis was spot on at all times. The venue and decor looked awesome and everything looked absolutely perfect in it's place. Alexis of Evoke Events is such a joy to work with. I was the wedding photographer at the event, and I didn't meet her until the day of...but she sent me emails before hand with the schedule and details, so I didn't have to contact the bride. Alexis was always available for any questions I had. On the day of the wedding she had everything under control and was so calm and cheerful the whole day. She made my job easy was very flexible with me. She created such a stunning event! I definitely would recommend her and I truly hope to work with her lots more in the future.

Working with Alexis and her team at Evoke Event Design was a great experience. Alexis is one of the most organized and prompt professionals that I have ever dealt with. I am actually the owner and operator of a photo booth business that provided the booth rental for a wedding that Alexis planned and coordinated. So, this is a view from a vendor at the event and our experience with the coordination of the timeline and our interaction with each other. She is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend her services. I received a very detailed, yet easy to understand timeline, vendor contact list, and other valuable information before the event. After the initial email and communication - I was thoroughly versed on our role in the photo booth end plus had all the details of the wedding itself. Working with Alexis and her team during the event was also a great experience. I was able to get any and all questions answered, and even though she was busy with the more important details, she took the time to address any requests or concerns we had. Recently, our cinematography company had the pleasure of working with Alexis at a wedding a couple of weeks ago. I knew the second I met Alexis that she was the perfect fit for my hubby and I's wedding. She was extremely prompt, detail-oriented, and fun. My now hubby and I spent 13 months planning and designing our wedding. This was no easy feat. We had several vendors, DIY elements, and moving parts to our wedding. I made several changes throughout the process and she rolled with them all. Alexis truly played an enormous roll in helping us pull it all together and with a smile on her face the entire time. She helped orchestrate a beautiful wedding celebration! I loved the open communication we had and her ability to keep us on track. Our guests walked away saying how amazing the night was :)

As a Photo booth owner as well as a wedding photographer I work with a lot of vendors as well as event coordinators, and Alexis at Evoke Coordination was hands down one of the easiest , sweetest , and most organized coordinators I have worked with. She was very easy to get a hold of leading up to the event and responded to emails promptly . The wedding was absolute perfection and every last detail was thought out and executed perfectly. Alexis is an amazing and professional event coordinator! She assisted my husband and I with our wedding and planning for the month-of, and she was prompt, professional, helpful, and very friendly every step of the way. She handled the communications with our numerous vendors, including the dj, caterers, florist, makeup/hairstylists, pianist, officiant, and photographer, and she could really read between the lines on tricky situations; she helped us problem solve on the big day when schedules needed to be changed at the last minute! I admire her amazing flexibility and professionalism. Her rate was super reasonable and she even had an assistant in the big day to help her. I can't say enough about Alexis and evoke-- my husband and I are beyond pleased with her services and we would recommend her to anyone at any planning stage of the wedding process. She has rates for planning and design, simple day-of wedding coordination, and other rates in between. Bravo!

I had the great pleasure of working along side Alexis. She was calm, professional, and on top of every detail. As a wedding videographer I have been to my share of weddings. I had the privilege of working with Alexis this past Saturday and I can truly say it was a pleasure. She kept everybody on time and the wedding was great. Alexis was the best thing that happened to me in the wedding planning process. I would have been completely lost without her. She kept my wedding vision in sight the entire time, helped me keep family opinions under control and organized a completely chaotic process I had started. My husband and I got married in a friend's backyard and while the idea was amazing at first, the execution turned into a bit more than we had anticipated. Alexis brought her knowledge and experience to the table and made sure that we had all of our bases covered for a large scale event (215+ people) in a venue that didn't have your typical amenities (being a backyard). Our wedding day was flawless and a month later, our friends and family still cannot stop talking about it. I will always be thankful for stumbling upon Alexis and her talents and will recommend her to all friends in the future.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with Alexis for our wedding on 3/22/15. We needed someone to help decorate the church and our venue with some special touches and she was able to capture our vision perfectly! She was responsive, professional and came up with creative ideas that I, my wife, and our guests loved! She went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and everything we wanted to make our wedding perfect was put into place. We had a wonderful time and everything was beautiful!!
