So grateful for Judy and Samantha
I will never get over how Samantha Dametta and Judy McGuinness made me look and feel on my wedding day. At my trial appointment, they were endlessly patient as I figured out what I actually wanted. On the day itself, they took all my feedback and nailed it — while also creating the most wonderful, calming vibe as I got ready and as they came with me to the venue.
They were truly the best company, and they helped set the tone for the entire day. And beyond being delightful humans, their work lasted. My hair and makeup survived (and maybe even thrived) through 10+ hours of jumping, sweating, dancing, hugging, kissing — and a very windy outdoor ceremony. They are magicians and I'm so grateful to have worked with them. -

Just dropping in to add to the chorus of glowing reviews for Samantha D. Before booking her, her portfolio pics alone honestly helped inform my wedding makeup pinterest. She clearly had a talent for beautiful, natural, glowing looks, but getting to work with her was next level. My bridesmaids (a few of whom had been burned in the past w wedding makeup) were so stoked on their looks, but as the bride, I personally cannot love on her enough. I was operating on 3 hours of sleep and she worked her magic and managed to not only make me feel beautiful, but like my most beautiful, radiant self (vs feeling masked over by makeup). I may have cried? She's also so sweet and friendly and great at inviting feedback and ensuring sure you're happy at every turn. I can't wait to find an excuse to have my makeup done by her again! -

Alex & Merita – Makeup Artist Extraordinaire & Hair Wizard
Working with Alex was one of the absolute highlights of our wedding journey. From the moment we sat down for our makeup trial, we knew we were in the hands of someone incredibly talented, warm, and real. She created a look that felt natural, radiant, and so us—not overdone, not underdone, just beautifully true to who we are.
On the big day, I genuinely couldn’t believe how good I looked—I felt so SEXY!! My wife looked drop-dead stunning, and watching her run down the aisle toward me, glowing with happiness and beauty, is a moment I’ll never forget.
And let’s talk staying power: I cried, and not a smudge. People were wowed by my “mascara” and absolutely shook when I told them I was wearing falsies. Alex’s work is no joke—iconic.
Merita is the kind of stylist who not only makes you look amazing but feel amazing too. From the moment we met her, we felt like we were hanging out with a longtime friend. She created hair looks that were effortless, soft, and full of movement, perfectly capturing both of our personalities and fitting the joy of our wedding day.
Liz’s hair looked like something out of a movie—so stunning, so flowy, and exactly what she dreamed of. Mine felt sleek and strong and just right. Merita truly brought the glam and the grounding energy we didn’t know we needed.
Everyone loved her energy in the getting-ready room, and we left feeling like total celebrities. We’ll never forget it.
Together, Alex & Merita are an unstoppable team.
Their energy, artistry, and authenticity helped kick off the most magical day of our lives in the most perfect way. We felt confident, beautiful, and so deeply ourselves. Liz and I still talk about how lucky we were to have them. We love them both.

P.S. For anyone looking through the photos: every person shown had their hair and/or makeup done by Alex & Merita!
To give a little timeline reference:
-When I’m wearing my suit jacket, that was hour 2 of hair and makeup.
-When I’ve taken off the jacket but still have the white shirt on, that was around hour 6.
-And when I’m just in the vest with no white shirt underneath, that was hour 11—and yes, still going strong!
Just goes to show how incredible their work held up throughout the entire day. -

The Bridal by Alexandria team did an AMAZING job on my, my 8 bridesmaid, mom, and mother in law. Merita, Desiree, and Kelly made everyone look stunning and it held all night! They gave suggestions on what worked best for people and they know their stuff :) I loved getting to know Meria and Desiree before the big day too, they are so sweet and fun to be around. Could not recommend more! -

We had Merita (hair) and Desiree (makeup) do all of the hair and makeup for myself (bride), my mom, and all of my bridesmaids for my wedding day. Merita & Desiree were kind, warm and fun and did a beautiful job with everyone - even taking the time at the end of the morning to do touch ups for all of the girls who wanted. We all felt beautiful all day long thanks to their team! -

Bridal by Alexandria was a dream to work with. Their admin staff are SO responsive, and helped connect me with the appropriate stylists for my vision. Emma (makeup) and Merita (hair) made me feel absolutely beautiful, and nailed exactly what I wanted during both my trial and for the wedding. Both of them are such artists!! Special shoutout to Emma who my mom said gave her the best makeup job of her life, and working to give everyone a beautiful but natural look. I also appreciated both Emma and Merita were super open to feedback. Everyone that got their hair and makeup done was SO happy with how it all turned out. Thank you both! Highly recommend! -

I worked with Kelly (makeup) and Merita (hair) for my wedding and they are both incredible at what they do! The team as a whole was so communicative, helpful, and flexible with helping me figure out what I needed for myself, my bridesmaids, my flower girls, my mother, and my mother-in-law, and nailing down a timeline that worked for us.
During the trial, I went in not really sure of what I wanted and felt like I had a million different directions in which I could go for my hair and makeup. Kelly and Merita sat with me and helped me find a look that truly complemented my dress, jewelry, and overall vibe! They were incredibly kind and answered every single question I might have had.
On the day of, they both worked seamlessly with their assistants to keep us on schedule and make sure everyone got exactly what they wanted! I even had a few day of changes from the work we did during my trial and they happily accommodated to create my perfect bridal look. And if any of us needed touch ups before they left they were happy to do so. Hair and makeup for everyone photographed beautifully and stayed the entire day from the morning of getting ready through the late night after party, which ended up being at least 16-18 hours!
Thank you again for all of your efforts, my entire wedding party had a perfect experience and the day would not have been possible without you! -

Everyone on the Bridal by Alexandria team was incredible! From the coordinators (Sarah & Jacqueline) to the artists, Kate (hair) and Becca & Samantha (makeup), everyone was extremely professional, organized and so easy going! Kate, Becca & Samantha did an incredible job on everyones hair and makeup. Some of my girls had exact visions of what they wanted and some went in blind, and the Bridal by Alexandria team absolutely delivered. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and so natural in all the photos we took. The girls got compliments on their hair and makeup all evening! We had a raining wedding day and the party went till dawn and the makeup and hair stayed in tact through it all! Thank you Bridal by Alexandria team! -

Desiree was the hair stylist for my wedding day and she did such beautiful work! She styled myself, my mother, my mother-in-law and my sister and my sister-in-law and it was very timely and efficient. She is also a very chill energy which I really appreciated on the big day. Jordan and Merita were the greatest!
I used Bridal by Alexandria for my hair and makeup services on my wedding day. Jacqueline and Sarah were so responsive and helpful when I first reached out for my initial booking. They were very flexible when I needed to postpone my wedding due to COVID. I worked with Merita (hair) and Jordan (makeup) for the big day and they were absolutely amazing. They are so warm & friendly which I definitely needed as I was super nervous. All of my wedding party and family who received hair and makeup were impressed with them and we all looked amazing. I never wear makeup at all and a natural look was very important to me on my wedding day. Jordan hit the mark and made me look like a queen! Merita was so flexible and open and I really appreciated her experts opinion as she wanted to make sure that I looked my best on the big day. She got through 11 ladies within the span of 4 hours all on her own. She's amazing! So thankful for Bridal By Alexandria, Merita and Jordan! -

Dana and Desiree also did a mother/daughter trial for me and my mom and we had a great time! They were easy to work with, very responsive, reasonably priced, and super friendly & fun! LOVE Kelly & Merita
Over the years, I've had my hair and makeup done many times, but nothing comes close to the experience I had with Kelly and Merita. Not only did they create the look of my dreams -- which lasted ALL night -- but also they are two of the sweetest, most fun people you'll ever meet. I felt like I was getting ready with my very talented girlfriends... which is exactly what a 2020 bride needs. Thanks for making my day so beautiful and my getting ready so enjoyable. -

I used Bridal by Alexandria’s make-up artist service for my wedding and couldn’t have been happier! Our make-up artist - Kelly - was fabulous!! I first met Kelly at the make-up trial, along with my mom and mother-in-law, which was such a fun experience. Kelly is professional and welcoming, and quickly got to know each of our styles. Taking notes from our conversation and applying her own expertise she created styles that we individually loved. The trial experience set us up for success and gave us peace of mind that we were in great hands for the wedding.
The morning of, Kelly arrived promptly and within 5 hours had completed the look for 9 ladies, including myself, my bridesmaids, mother, mother-in-law and aunts. Each gal’s style slightly differed to best accentuate the persona, while still all complementing the group. The looks were natural and lasted the entire day - starting at 7:30AM, withstanding outdoor ceremony and hours of dancing into the wee hours of the next morning.
The entire experience working with Kelly with joyous, and the process with the salon was seamless. Bridal by Alexandria provided a packet of rich information, detailing services offered, pricing, etc. Everything was thought through for me and executed flawlessly. I highly recommend their services!!

Bridal by Alexandria did a fantastic job! I had Merita for hair and Kelly for makeup. I loved what they did for me, but they also did an amazing job on my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law. They work quickly and efficiently, and were extremely accommodating to the needs of each person. Merita was truly wonderful - setting up two trials to make sure I felt completely comfortable with my bridal hairstyle. And she even taught me about my hair and gave me tips for how to work with it on my own! -

I worked with Kate for hair and Kelly for makeup for my wedding day, and cannot say enough good things about the experience! Not only did all my girls and the moms look absolutely beautiful, but Kate and Kelly were a delight to work with and brought tons of positivity to what could have been a high-stress morning. In addition, the team was easy to communicate with. Jacqueline, their team manager, always responded quickly and they were accommodating with late requests to add people to the group for makeup, which I greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!! -

Bridal by Alexandria is the best there is. Looking flawless on your wedding day is something every bride wants and finding the right team to help you achieve that is such an important part in planning the wedding. With that being said, look no further because this really is the best team out there! Everyone is SO responsive, friendly, and professional. When I met Cory (who did my makeup) and Jenny (who did my hair) on my trial day I was completely blown away. Not only did they do an amazing job and make me look better than I ever imagined, they were SO much fun and so kind! They really made the morning of my wedding such a positive experience for my girls and I. I am so appreciative of all of their hard work and dedication in helping me and my bridesmaids look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day!
Also, while a natural bride is absolutely gorgeous, it’s not what I was looking for and they were very much able to deliver on full glam!! Cory made sure we all had stunning full face makeup with the lashes and all! We kept saying how we’ve never looked so beautiful before! 😍 I highly recommend choosing bridal by Alexandria for all of your beauty needs on your big day!

Alex and her team are amazing!! Alex is a top quality makeup artist and has worked with countless high profile clients/celebrities. You would not know this by meeting her- she is SO down to earth and real. Her team is amazing (yes Corey, we love you!) and they were so much fun getting us ready for the wedding. Alex truly listens to what you want and creates the perfect look, she is so knowledgeable and skilled. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and my girls couldn’t say enough about the looks her and Corey created. They can do high glam, subtle, natural, and even did my old (but fabulous) grandmothers! Alex and Corey- thank you so much for glamming us up and making us feel so confident. You guys are the best! You will NOT be disappointed in your experience with Bridal by Alexandria. She was so patient with us and Jaqueline, the coordinator was so responsive and helpful throughout the process. From first contact through the wedding day she was extremely responsive to all my crazy bride questions and concerns. I booked Alex right away, even without my trial first because I was so comfortable with her even through just emails. When my trial came, she took all my inspiration photos and made me look beautiful. She even did small tweaks to compare to make sure I had the exact look I wanted for my big day. She helped me with my skin care so I would have a perfect glow on my day. On the day of, Alex and her assistant took care of my entire group of girls. There was 13 of us total and I was amazed at how fast everyone was ready. Alex & her assistant were amazing. My girls ranged from never wearing make up before to wanting full glam and we all looked beautiful. Even through a hot June day outside, everyone's make up lasted all day, looking just as amazing at the end of the night as when we first got ready. I would highly recommend Alex & her team for anyone's special day!

Christina Sent on 08/07/2017I have to admit, I procrastinated looking for a makeup artist for my wedding day. Probably a big NO! But I was nervous because I was one of those people that just knew how I liked my makeup. I didn't trust many others to do it for me. I had gone to someone before Alex, and I was horrified with how my trial turned out. I looked 10 years older! At that point I was discouraged, but wanted to try one more consultation before I decided to just do it myself. Thank goodness I did!! I found Alex online and she was so professional. That was a huge plus to me. When you communicate with vendors, sometimes you get a few that make you feel like you're bothering them! This was totally not the case with Alex! I was able to get pricing and a consult set up with ease. When I sat down for my consult, I felt like I was with a friend! She was so laid back and I was able to explain exactly what I wanted without feeling like I was too picky ;) She gave me the right amount of feedback and before I even looked in the mirror, I knew I wanted to book her for my wedding day! I also didn't have anyone for hair and Alex had someone she works with, Katie Hargraves, come to the consult that day as well!
On my wedding day, I felt like a million bucks! She glammed me up and it lasted all day long! I wanted a fresh face with my lashes being the focus. She did just that :) Katie finished up my bridal hair and I felt like royalty. The best part about the whole thing, they travel to you! I didn't have to stress about going somewhere and getting back on time. Alex and Katie made me feel amazing and that's so important on your wedding day. There are so many pictures taken on your wedding day and if you don't feel amazing, it could be miserable! I highly recommend Alex, and Katie. <3 -

Honestly it feels like it is one of your friends doing your make-up. She made everyone feel really comfortable, everyone loved their make-up. I loved working with Bridal By Alexandria! The whole experience was professional, and I knew I could trust their team to achieve an effortlessly stunning look. Merita did my (the brides) hair with extensions and a perfect fluffy wave that lasted all night! My MOH and the mothers loved their hair as well. Desiree did makeup for the 4 of us, and not only was she fun to work with, but she really nailed the look that I wanted. I was very happy with how it turned out, and was thrilled that it lasted all night as well! -
