Alexandra is an excellent event planner! She definitely exceeded my expectations on my wedding day. The fact that I live in Georgia, trusting a business all the way in Puerto Rico had me nervous, but Alexandra definitely helped keep me calm throughout the process.
My wedding day was nothing short of amazing. I was definitely dealing with an expert! From picking vendors, to the timeline, even receiving packages for me so my load wouldn’t be so heavy on the way to Puerto Rico, everything was top tier! I traveled from Portland, Oregon to San Juan, Puerto Rico to photograph a destination wedding, and I had the pleasure of working with Alexandra and her team. My trip wouldn't have been possible without their help and assistance. From the very beginning, Alexandra set up phone calls to go over timeline, planning, travel, cultural details, and specific venue details. These conversations eased all of my anxieties about traveling to PR for a wedding weekend. Alexandra has a way of communicating that is thorough and straightforward, while at the same time being very friendly and warm.
The day of the wedding couldn't have gone more smoothly thanks to Alexandra and her amazing assistant, Mare. They helped me in every way possible while ensuring that the bride, groom, and guests were still immersed in every wedding moment. It's a fine line when it comes to coordinating and photographing a wedding-- often times, it can be "too much" and take the bride/groom out of their moment, but Ale and Mare perfectly interjected themselves when needed and allowed the beauty to unfold naturally without forcing anything at all. Nobody ever felt stressed about the timeline thanks to Ale and her team.
I also witnessed a few moments of, "What do we do?!"-- for example, when there was a lot of traffic to and from one of the venues-- another example was needing the bouquets quickly for photos when they were in a different venue. Rather than panic or get worked up, Mare communicated in the kindest way and quickly communicated with the team to make last minute adjustments. Ale and Mare communicated via ear pieces so that their communication with each other was quick and discreet-- this is a game changer on a wedding day. Seeing Ale and Mare work during these situations really showcased their professionalism and ability to pivot in difficult situations.
Lastly, I'm forever grateful for the way Ale and Mare took care of me as a human. They not only took care of their clients, but they took care of all the vendors. They brought me water and food on a long, hot day. They made sure I took breaks. They checked in on me.
I've photographed over 500 weddings and have worked with 100 of coordinators and planners, and Ale and her team are among the best. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a kind, professional, knowledgable planner. You will be in good hands, and it'll be one of the best decisions you make for your event.

Alexandra is a force! professional, honest, diligent, charismatic, and has a spectacular eye for design. Her ability to capture a client's vision and exceed expectations makes her the best in Puerto Rico.
Coordinating a destination wedding can be daunting but I never felt helpless, she was there with me every step of the way. Alexandra heard all my ideas, wants, and expectations and when I needed a reality check, she knew how to deliver the message but also give me options. I never felt like I hit a brick wall, the collaboration was organic as long as I kept an open mind. I also listened carefully to her suggestions and implemented all her advice. It was all a leap of faith, considering we planned our wedding from Miami, and the return was absolute magic!
Our wedding was stunning! We were blown away and our guests were over the moon with the entire experience. It really takes design sensibility to capture every detail of a vision and execute it with such grace. The coordination behind the scenes with all the vendors ran smoothly, you can tell they all respect her and enjoy working with her. Alexandra is the perfect wedding planner for your big day! We had a wedding that went from an estimated 125 to 190 people and she handled our craziness very graciously. She kept us calm and reassured us at every challenge throughout the planning process. We also had a lot of last minute requests that she handled so well. She balanced my type 'A' self perfectly :) She recommended some of the most incredible vendors that our guests still have not stopped talking about. All of her assistants were professionals and kept the entire day organized from start to finish. Planning a LARGE destination wedding is extremely challenging and anxiety provoking wanting to make sure that things are handled the way you envision them to be. The reason why we chose Alexandra was because she made us feel like our wedding was very important to her. She would use non-binary terms (very important in a gay wedding). And as the wedding got closer, she was more present and proactive. She was never overwhelmed with last minute changes and her presence was always calming and alert. Also, she has the best taste and will guide you to make the best decisions when it comes to decoration, music, venues, etc. -

Alexandra was fantastic! All the vendors she recommended were fabulous, we loved everything about our wedding. Our original date was in 2020, so we had to postpone a year, and she couldn't have been more helpful with rescheduling. Our wedding was a destination wedding, and we weren't able to come down to visit, but having her through the whole process made everything so much less stressful. The day of the wedding I was so grateful to have her and not have to worry about the details, she made sure she was the go to for questions so I was able to just enjoy the day. Highly recommend! -

Working with Alexandra these last 2 years (covid wedding) was very easy. She’s very relaxed and highly professional. Extremely knowledgeable in the business and knows all main providers and vendors. Alexandra was not just our wedding planner she was our friend. She was awesome! Looking back I can honestly say it was the easiest experience we could have imagined. My husband and I have such gratitude to Alexandra Rodriguez for organizing the perfect wedding day. I cannot stress enough how much I would recommend her to anyone in need of a wedding or event planner and I encourage you to look no further.
Alexandra had her challenges in organizing our wedding with us living in Australia, who desired no less than the perfect fusion of a mixed Anglo-Saxon/ Venezuelan wedding in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Despite the time difference and distance we always felt well supported by Alexandra. She truly seemed to make the impossible possible and during the ups and downs of preparation we always felt as if we were in good hands. We knew we could always rely on Alexandra and felt as if she listened to us, making sure she understood where we were coming from in addition to remaining positive and sensitive to our desires and wishes.
Alexandra is open-minded, professional, realistic and determined to work with her clients to ensure an amazing event will take place. I particularly felt comforted by the finer personal details that Alexandra gave to our wedding which highlighted her expertise.
On the day of our event Alexandra made sure that everything ran smoothly which was incredible because it enabled us to enjoy the day without any stress. Furthermore Alexandra was personally there from the beginning to the end (may I add that the wedding finished at 4:00am.) She also drove an hour after our wedding to return our rings to us after there was a mistake in the mail system.
I cannot thank Alexandra enough for the gift she offered us which was the perfect wedding day. It is obvious that Alexandra is not only extremely talented and experienced at what she does but loves it.

When we first met Alexandra we instantly felt a connection with her. We sat down and started planning our wedding. She has plenty of experience with big production weddings and a great working relationship with many vendors. This is great because she knows exactly what is needed to make your dream wedding come true.
Alexandra never imposes her opinion, but when asked, she will give great options in terms of vendors, give you savvy budget advice, and excellent recommendations to make your wedding unique and wonderful. She puts a lot of attention to detail and it made the wedding memorable. From the LED display panels, the confetti at the dance floor, to the extra set of speakers at the venue, these were some of the things she suggested that gave the event that extra “WOW” factor. She patiently and carefully crafted a wedding production like no other. Even one of our guests, who has many years of experience as a wedding planner, was very impressed and intrigued with Alexandra’s work.
To this day, our guests keep bragging about how wonderful the wedding was. Flawless in execution, smooth delivery, and guests enjoying every aspect. We could tell her presence was there without being disturbed. Everything was on time and on point, yet never felt rushed.
You can guarantee that you will enjoy your wedding day, as she will not bother you with minutia. Things will get done and you can enjoy your day at peace. Alexandra is a true go-getter, hard working planner who can and will deliver. You will not regret your decision. She definitely exceeded our expectations. -

From the very beginning when I started looking at wedding planners' social media accounts, I knew I wanted to talk to Alexandra. The weddings she was involved with had a common thread: gorgeous photography, exact details, and beautiful settings. Once we started working together Alexandra helped manage my expectations, provided vendor options that matched my budget constraints, and guided me through the decisions we had to make.
Alexandra has built relationships with the best wedding vendors and providers in Puerto Rico and as a visual person who values design, I appreciated Alexandra’s good taste and attention to detail. When I had difficulties with a vendor communicating my vision, Alexandra stepped in to communicate needed changes and requests. Setting up monthly check-ins with Alex would’ve prevented this. During this year of planning, my favorite thing about Alex was her ability to calm my bride's nerves down and assure me that everything would be okay and done how I wanted it.
But where Alexandra shines is as Day-of Coordinator and MC - she excels at it! The week before the wedding Alexandra checked in with all the vendors (all of them let me know they were communicating with Alex when we were resolving last-minute details). Our wedding day was a hands-off experience for me and I was able to enjoy every minute of it, thanks to Alex and Waleska, her assistant. Alexandra arrived early to make sure everything went according to plan, and whenever hiccups arose Alex was able to resolve them and coordinate solutions with the venue event manager. She handled the wedding protocol beautifully, made sure the bride and groom ate and kept us on schedule - even with attire changes before the videographer left. I also appreciated that Alex coordinated with my family at the end of the day to get everything that was left behind at the venue.
The day after the wedding I woke up to a beautiful Instagram reel with highlights of our wedding! I was overcome by emotion. This was a special detail, one that I didn’t know I needed. Thank you, Alex! Our wedding was the wedding of my dreams and I would do it all over again. -

It was such a pleasure to work with Alexandra in crafting the wedding of our dreams! It might sound cliché to say - but Tony and I truly had the best day ever! Thank you, Alexandra, from the bottom of our hearts.
From start to finish, Alexandra brought her professionalism, expertise, and problem-solving to the table. She understood the aesthetic we wanted right away, put us in touch with all the right vendors (who were each stellar!), and helped us stay on budget. Additionally, as we got closer and realized we needed help finding additional vendors, she was flexible in working with us and made us feel completely at ease about last minute changes. For someone like me who is a bit Type A about event planning, this was important and made me feel reassured. Her excellent connections on the island made sure that vendors were fully aligned with our vision and were responsive -- which can be particularly challenging while planning a destination wedding on a laid back island.
But I'd say the best part is seeing Alexandra in action the day of the wedding. The best way I can put it is: She makes magic happen! You get to sit comfortably in the passenger seat and focus on what you'll say in your vows while she ensures the guest experience as well as the ambiance are top notch and the run-of-show stays on track. I highly recommend Alexandra to anyone looking to fully be in the moment on their big day and not sweat all the details. She is an absolute rock star, and we were floating on Cloud 9 after our wedding! Thanks again, Alexandra! -

Alexandra created an unforgettable wedding experience that I am confident would not have happened without her flexibility and skills as a planner! She was awesome to work with and kept stress levels down throughout the process while giving us extremely helpful feedback that led to the success of the day.
I'll start out by saying that our wedding did not follow an existing playbook - from our ceremony location to our reception venue, we chose to create a brand new (entirely outdoor) experience for our guests. During the initial conversations, I shared my vision with Alexandra and she immediately got it. It took a significant amount of coordination between vendors to coordinate permits, decor, contracts, and logistics. Alexandra hustled to ensure all of the vendors had every detail nailed down before the big day and was responsible for securing a special location permit for us at Castillo San Cristóbal! During the planning process, one of her many creative ideas included a late night silent disco after party - a top moment for many of our guests.
On the day of the wedding, she was masterful at ensuring the guest experience was seamless, despite the many moving pieces including ceremony transportation for guests and my husband and I getting ready at different locations. Everything ran on time, all the vendor teams were aligned and equipped with what was needed to execute, and my husband and I didn't have a moment of worry or stress. She was even the MC of our reception!
I can't express enough how thankful we are that we had Alexandra as our planner/coordinator throughout this experience and cannot recommend her enough to any couple - especially if you plan to create a unique guest experience! She is THE BEST!! -

Wedding of our dreams!
When we first got engaged we truly thought we didn’t need a wedding planner. As we gave it more thought and began to think about all of the different elements that go into planning a wedding (especially a destination wedding) we decided a wedding planner would be best.
From the second we spoke to Alexandra the first time we knew she would be the best person to trust on this journey. Alexandra gave us a sense of certainty, tranquility, and trust. Some examples of the way Alexandra supported us included; finding vendors, sitting in meetings with decor, providing feedback and ideas, reaching out to our chosen vendors to ensure all details were beautifully crafted and she even held space when life’s own curves, challenges and emotions hit unexpectedly. Alexandra handled it all with such care and gentleness. When we met Alexandra in person she was exactly what we imagined her to be a calm soul with confidence and attention to detail but most of all reassurance that our day would be amazing; and it was! We wouldn’t be able to say what went wrong on that day, we can only speak for how perfect it was because of her patience, execution and calmness. We enjoyed this day to the very core with not one worry in mind other than the normal wedding jitters. If we had to plan this wedding over again we wouldn’t change a thing and we certainly wouldn’t change our wedding planner. Thank you for helping us make this day unforgettable and filled with joy and love. We will never forget about how special this day was.
Cuando nos comprometimos por primera vez, realmente pensamos que no necesitábamos una coordinadora de bodas. Pero al pensarlo más a fondo y comenzar a considerar todos los diferentes elementos que conlleva planear una boda (especialmente una boda de destino), decidimos que lo mejor sería contar con una coordinadora .
Desde el primer momento en que hablamos con Alexandra, supimos que sería la persona ideal en quien confiar durante este proceso. Alexandra nos transmitió certeza, tranquilidad y confianza. Algunos ejemplos de cómo nos apoyó incluyen: encontrar proveedores, acompañarnos en reuniones de decoración, ofrecer ideas y comentarios útiles, comunicarse con los proveedores que elegimos para asegurarse de que cada detalle estuviera cuidadosamente diseñado, e incluso brindarnos apoyo emocional cuando la vida nos lanzó sus propios desafíos, emociones y giros inesperados.
