where to even begin with Alexa... what a joy and beautiful soul she is. we were fortunate enough to be the first couple to hire her new band "The Hummingbird and the Spoon" last year and we are SO happy we did. when you think of a small wedding and an acoustic set, i know my first thought was not necessarily a GIANT dance party, but that's exactly what we had. BUT Alexa also knows my love for Taylor Swift knows no bounds and so she had the band learn at least 5 songs to bring more joy to my day and honestly it was just perfect. We had so much fun working with Alexa over the last year and so happy to have had her and the rest of the band as a part of our day. -

Alexa is simply the best human and an amazingly talented musician! I was worried that having only two musicians at our wedding wouldn't create the upbeat atmosphere we wanted but Alexa and her partner absolutely brought the party! She was the perfect fit for our wedding of 50 people. Highly recommend booking Alexa for your wedding or event! -

Alexa was so prefect for our wedding! Coordinating with her and telling her everything we were looking for our wedding music was a breeze. She made the whole experience smooth and easy from start to finish. She has a large list of songs to choose from and even has the option to request a song if it is not already on her song list. On the wedding day she played during the ceremony and cocktail hour and the songs were beautiful. All of our guest loved her! We would definitely work with Alex again if we were to do it all over again! -

We hired Alexa to sing at our wedding, specifically during the ceremony and our first dance songs. She was extremely professional and friendly. She has a huge song list and a variety of genres she can perform. Alexa made it really easy and we were so happy with how the music turned out. It was the perfect extra touch we wanted. -

Hire Alexa if you want your guests to have the BEST time
I would rehire Alexa over and over again! She is unbelievably talented and flexible on what she can sing. She was so personable and easy to work with leading up to the wedding. We had a ceremony & reception in two locations and she was willing to travel to both & very quickly at that to beat the guests over! I heard nothing but amazing things while she was there and after she left on how much our guests liked her. She was engaging with them, laughing with them. Started a singalong. Someone even told me they wished they could bottle her up and keep her forever because of how radiant, amazing and positive she was all day. And did I mention how good of a singer she was? -

Alexa Kilgore - musician, gem, and new friend!
Beautiful voice, beautiful soul. Alexa made our wedding ceremony and reception so, so memorable with our favorite songs. She took the time to get to know us and our love of music, putting extra care into choosing songs that really spoke to us and made our day perfect. She became a friend to us throughout the process and we will hold her in our hearts forever. My family adored her and our friends are still complimenting her talent and personality a month and a half later. Alexa's voice will move you, but so will her laughter and her humor. She will make your event unique, special, and memorable! -

We had Alexa perform at our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She was amazing! Our friends could not stop talking about how she took on the spot requests and engaged with them. Alexa's music make our wedding special and we will have such great memories!
