There are so many reasons why you should book Alex as your photographer! For starters, she delivers amazing pictures and makes even the most uncomfortable person in front of the camera look good. Alex was our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. We were both pretty nervous showing up for our first "photoshoot" but quickly relaxed thanks to Alex's friendly and fun guidance. Alex is professional, friendly, responsive, supportive, and experienced! She rode the "planning a wedding during a pandemic" rollercoaster with us. I know 2020 (and 2021) were not an easy time for Alex and all those in the wedding industry dealing with all the constant changes and unknowns, but even with that Alex remained positive and understanding to our changing needs. I appreciated that so much because that is not what I experienced from other wedding vendors, unfortunately. Lastly, and very importantly, Alex''s experience in the industry definitely makes a difference. She is prepared, knows what to look out for, and has some helpful resources that helped me as I planned my wedding. I did not hire a wedding planner so the additional resources and guidance helped so much! Alex does so much more than just take pictures. She's the best! -

Alex has been nothing short of amazing thus far! We booked her a year and a half before our wedding to ensure we got a spot on her calendar. Throughout the last year she has helped so much with the wedding planning process, she has some amazing resources specifically for her brides and grooms. We had our engagement shoot a few days ago and were blown away with how fast Alex got our photos back to us, and how amazing they turned out. We cannot wait to have her be a part of our wedding day. -

This review is long overdue but Alex deserves the recognition! I booked a couples shoot with her a year in advance and by the time I realized it was going to expire, she was completely booked in TC (which was the original destination). She offered to shoot us at the Oregon Coast as she would be there for a family reunion and we jumped at the opportunity to book our beach house and make the drive! Our shoot was originally planned for a Friday evening however the weather was not cooperating, so we changed it to 10am Saturday. The shoot went amazing and Alex was great at making us newbies feel comfortable in front of the camera. Right from the get-go, my eye started watering (beach wind never fails) and by the end of it, my eyeliner was completely gone and my false eyelash was lifting. Not only that, but my foundation had smeared all under my eye from me trying to wipe away the tears. Alex assured me it wouldn't be noticeable and if it was, she'd make it work. I got our pictures back in a little over a WEEK (!!!) and there were over 200 more than I was expecting/paid for. ALL edited. I don't even want to know how long it took her to photoshop my liner, lashes and skin in some of our close up shots. I was so worried about the pictures being ruined by my watering eye, but Alex figured it out and took the extra time to edit all of my issues back on, lol. She is the absolute BEST and I will 10000% book with her in the future. Don't look any further, book with Alex today. You will NOT regret it! -

Alexi Sent on 07/18/2018My fiancé and I are absolutely obsessed with the photos that Alex took at our engagement session. They are 100x better than we would have ever expected from the two of us, and she made the experience so painless, and truly super fun! I am so glad that we chose Alex as our engagement photographer. She really went above and beyond and was open to all kinds of ideas from us. We would highly recommend Alex to anyone in love and looking to be photographed :) Thank you so much Alex!!

Alex is a true gem. She photographed our wedding day and engagement session. There is something about Alex that makes you feel so at ease, which is exactly what I needed on my wedding day. She will capture your day unlike any other photographer. My pictures are full of so much emotion. I couldn't be more grateful for her amazing work. If you are considering her DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER. Trust me, book her! You won't regret it. -

I don’t even know where to start with this girl! She takes her job extremely seriously and really just wants everyone to be happy at the end of the day. Alex did our engagements photos and I knew then that we had made the right choice. Her ability to make you feel at ease behind the camera is incredible. Having our pictures taken was a breeze and she made it look so easy. She’s so talented and really is doing what she’s meant to do in life. If you want insanely awesome wedding photos, hire this girl!! At the end of the day, the photos are all you have left so it is an investment to take seriously. We can’t recommend her enough and hope she keeps doing wedding photos because she really is the best!! We will cherish these forever, Alex! We can’t thank you enough. -

But more than just her professionalism, she is hands down one of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet! She took all of our nerves away and made our photos fun, and she was expertly able to capture the movement and emotions of our big day. We couldn't be happier and you couldn't find anyone better!! 10/10 Recommend -

Brittany Sent on 09/25/2018I highly recommend Alex! I was so lucky that my sister introduced me to her earlier this year when I was looking for a wedding photographer. One look at her photos and I was sold! I was so lucky that I snagged her last date in August and it was truly fate! Alex not only made me feel so beautiful and relaxed on my wedding day, but she made me feel so confident and comfortable with all the ways she connected with me before hand. As a “vendor” she is top notch. Not once did I ever feel anxious while working with her. And most importantly, she has given me memories that will last a lifetime. Every time I look at my photos I think, “wow, is that me?” I didn’t know I could feel so beautiful! For someone who normally hates every photo of myself, I can honestly say that there is not a single photo that I don’t like. The extent of detail in which she and Sarah go to is second to none. If you don’t book her today you will regret it!

Madi Sent on 07/19/2018Alex is hands down the BEST for the job! Not only was the quality of of our engagement photos better than expected, but the experience was out of this world! My fiancé doesn’t like to be in front of the camera, but after our shoot he turned to me and said, “that was fun let’s do it again!” In scheduling for our engagement shoot, the weather was not playing in our favor and Alex took it upon herself to re-schedule TWICE! Just so we could get the lighting we desired. PLUS she’s super down to earth, funny, and quite frankly the kindest human ever. You will not regret your decision!!! And I cannot wait for our wedding photos!!!

Both Alex & her second shooter Sarah are so fun to be around. They helped me keep my cool in so many ways throughout my wedding day, I appreciated them very much! -

Diana Sent on 02/02/2018Alex Lasota... Where do I start?! Well first let's talk about the photographer herself. She is a kind, artistic, and creative soul. Alex pours her heart into her photography from the details, angles, lighting, and so much more. She makes you and your boyfriend/fiance/husband feel relaxed and comfortable, which can be difficult for many in front of the camera. She works hard so that you don't have to. Alex took our engagement, wedding, and yes post wedding sunset bridal photos. We did the whole shebang with Alex because she is amazing. All of our photos were phenomenal! It's no secret to many that Alex's work is amazing. If you follow bridal Facebook pages or have a pinterest account, you've probably seen Alex's amazing work. Aside from her photography skills I was also impressed with the time frame it took to receive our images back. Alex meets with you before your big day many months in advanced and gives you the rundown. She gives you a predicted timeline of when your photos will be ready for viewing and she holds to it. When you open up your gallery you are just shocked with the amount of images she captured and how amazing the quality is. We get so many compliments of how beautiful our images are, and we owe it all to Alex. I highly recommend Alex Lasota Photography.

A wonderful and welcoming experience!
I love Alex's ability to make clients feel comfortable, in a potentially uncomfortable environment. My husband, son and I appreciated Alex's funny banter - and the fact that she made us genuinely laugh during our wedding day photos. Alex's calming demeanor helped us relax; thus, we were able to focus on each other and enjoy our special day together. -
