    Working with Roe and Kathryn made our excitement about our wedding even more fun if you can imagine that! Festivities was a real partner in the planning process, helping us make the right decisions for us. They really understood our vision, and when we walked into our wedding, we just knew it was “our” special day.
    The food was beyond delicious.. Even as the evening started, everyone was talking about the Potato Leek Soup on the Farm Table.
    The Festivities staff always had a smile on their faces and were ready with whatever our guests needed.
    It was a truly wonderful experience, from the first day to the last day.. and I promised Roe I would be back to visit and plan more parties.

    WOW! I walked in and it was “perfection”. All the details I had envisioned came to life in front of my eyes!! Thank you to Roe and her great team for giving us our most special day to start our new lives together. The room was glowing in all the candles, just as I dreamt!
    The food was so delicious. I knew I wanted stations. There was never a long line, and everyone went from station to station, hearing how delish each one was…
    Thank you again for your patience, good humor. It was FUN!!! Xo

    I so wanted to share how very special I felt working with Festivities under the guidance of Kathryn. My family is Italian and I so wanted our wedding menu to reflect our roots and our family Italian kitchen. Chef Bill went out of his way to create recipes that made my heart sing!
    I will always remember their kindness, professionalism, the FOOD and the incredible presentation. Thank you for making our special day the most special!!

    I can not say enough wonderful things about Festivities. They have been a staple at all my major events, each one being more magical than the next. Roe and Bill are a creative and dynamic team, who will take your dream menu and turn it into a masterpiece.

    What an awesome time we had at our wedding! The best part is that my NEW wife and our families got exactly what we wanted and more, a great party. Roe and her team made our experience so effortless, beautiful, and so much fun that we never wanted it to end. Meghan, who was our coordinator, kept us in her line of site. Whatever we needed, she was right there a step ahead of us and working hard.
    The Photography was with someone there to give us champagne and hors d’oeuvres. From there it was clear sailing. Everything just kept happening the way we planned, and we just looked at each other and smiled from ear to ear. Thank you Roe and Festivities for a memory we will always have.

    Dear Roe
    Please let Bill and all your team at Festivities know how much we appreciate and have sincere, deep gratitude for your services for Maya and Adam's wedding. The wedding was everything they wanted it to be- personal, professional and unique. And both Ron and I know you all were the main reason for the smiles and sparkles that radiated from both of them.
    We all felt cared for, needs anticipated with such ease. Every detail was addressed, every taste bud surprised and delighted.

    What an awesome time we had at our wedding! The best part is, my wife and our families got exactly what we wanted.     Roe and her entire team were so delightful to work with. Roe personally made me feel like I did't have to worry about a thing. My day was literally perfect. The other vendor relationships she brought to the celebration were all top notch in quality, professionalism and FUN.

    The food was highly exceptional, and the attention to detail at every moment of the event was simply outstanding.

    I wouldn't plan an event on the East Coast without Festivities.

    Festivities made going above and beyond seems like it was just their natural way of doing business.

    We cannot get over that our beautiful wedding is over! We truly are reviewing our favorite moments every day, so that we can experience our joy over and over again. THANK YOU to Bill, Roe and the entire Festivities team for making our day magical! We were so touched by their attention to every detail, from choosing the perfect ribbons for the napkins to the yummy Southern food. They made it a point to let our personalities shine through the entire event. We really are endlessly thankful for all they did! They have given us the most wonderful memories.

    As a mother of a bride that just celebrated her daughter's wedding (10/22/11), I am delighted to have a chance to share with future brides and their families what a very lovely and professional job Festivities did for our family under the care and guidance of Kelly Arias. Our budget was small and their hearts were big and full of kindness. From phone calls to emails, meetings, food tastings, etc. our journey with Festivities was an easy and professional one. I felt so confident in their guidance and suggestions and will always be grateful that we were lucky enough to have them organizing one of the biggest days in our family's lives. Our guests were all so complimentary of the staff and food. The presentation and service were absolutely the best. I could only wish for all other brides and their families the same wonderful time. Calling Festivities and working with Kelly Arias and Rosinne Chlala is certainly the only way to start!!

    Festivities was fantastic and played a huge role in helping us have the perfect wedding. They were great to work with throughout the entire planning process, the food was amazing, and their day-of coordination at DCA Meadowlands allowed us (and bridal party) to focus on enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend!

    Although our wedding reception was intimate, it needed to be top shelf for a group of very experienced guests. There was no room for error or inexperience. The people of Festivites of Norwalk were selected from the creme de la creme of Fairfield County competition because of their expertise in organizing an event, their menu, their responsiveness and their ability to deliver. The reception exceeded our expectations. Everyone raved about the food, the service, the event plan and the overall execution of the evening. Many of the guests were so impressed by the evening that they asked about who was behind the event. Festivities of Norwalk are the consumate professionals in the event planning and delivery field.

    We were delighted with Ro and all of the Festivities staff. Kelly, who coordinated the wedding, was attentive, cheerful, efficient and ready to serve. She willingly met us on several occassions to show us the venue and answer questions. She was quiet and respectful of the family's opinions yet ready to advise whenever we asked. She balanced between following us and leading us, not an easy task!
    On the wedding day, she was terrific. She confidently made decisions, patiently handled my last minute requests, moved at a brisk pace that got things done without ever appearing frantic. In short, Kelly inspired confidence that all was well. I felt completely supported every step of the way.
    Our minister, who has worked with a number of wedding coordinators, said that Kelly is one of the best he has ever seen. We agree. We appreciated Kelly's professional attitude and her loving attention to detail.

    As the parents of the bride, We was certainly impressed by Festivities. The food, service and staff were excellent. We are still getting compliments about the entire day from our guests. It was a pleasure planning our affair with their entire staff, especially Kelly, our wedding planner. Everyone's suggestions were helpful and made planning our wedding so much easier. From the ceremony to the reception, it was lovely affair and so much fun for everyone. Thanks again.

    Roe and The Festivities staff was beyond top notch. My wedding was not only a big deal to me, but also to my entire family and I have to admit, I was a nervous wreck. But to be honest, all of my worries went away when I met with Roe. The entire process was seamless, everything from picking out the band to picking out the main course to picking out the napkins. No matter how big or small the detail was, I knew Roe had it covered. When our big day finally arrived, I was the furthest thing from nervous - something I did not know was possible! The wedding was incredible and one of the most magical nights, not only for me, but for all of our guests. The entire night went off without a hitch. It is amazing to me that our friends are still talking about our wedding as being one of the best they have attended. I am beyond thankful that I found Roe and her team at Festivities.

    The Meadowlands and Festivities catering are the perfect combination for a great wedding! We had our wedding at the Meadowlands in Darien, CT on September 18th 2010 and it was absolutely a dream! The food has been raved about by all of our guests and the coordination and planning done by Roe and Kelly and their team was phenomenal! We could not have asked for a better wedding day or reception!! The team worked so hard to make sure all of our needs were met and took the time to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. A special thanks to Kelly (and Jennifer) who were more than helpful on the actual wedding day and made sure my husband and I had everything we needed :-)

    I could not have asked for a better staff and more beautiful location than at the Meadowlands. My guests came up to me throughout the evening marvelling at the quality of the food. "Best food I've ever had at a wedding" is what I heard over and over again. With such a beatuiful setting, there is no need to go over the top covering walls and carpets and adding makeshift decorations, it already has a timeless and effortless glamour.
    The staff provided many of the details that I otherwise would not have planned such as tablecloths, candles and silverware. Therefore, everything was coordinated seamlessly. The staff was always courteous and attentive. I could not have asked for a better experience on my wedding day.

    I loved how flexible Roe was. She was attentive to what was important to us and worked with us to make it possible within our budget. It was a beautiful day and she really made it happen

    Festivities was wonderful! My wedding was the best night of my life and everything was perfect. We could not have done it without Festivities. This brother sister team is unstoppable. The weddding planning was great and Roe was in control of everything the entire evening. The food was absolutely delicious and Bill went out oof his way to accomodate all of our wishes. The staff was professional and took care of everything. I could not have asked for more! I would recommend Festivities to anyone throwing a party or a wedding they were great! Thank you Roe and Bill!

    Keep Looking!

    Let me start by saying, our wedding was absolutely amazing and the disappointments I mention below by no means ruined the day; however, I wouldn't recommend Festivities as a caterer.

    Roe was recommended to us by my Mother-In-Law and we felt that the options and service couldn't be beat for the price, so we went ahead and booked. The first issue I encountered was from the very beginning. Roe made it obvious that she was more worried about impressing my Mother-In-Law who has extensive connections within the community, than me or my parents who live out of state. Emails would go unanswered, or I would just flat out be left off of them (what?? aren't I the bride here??) and Roe would claim she couldn't find my email address. Some of the other issues were around her lack of attentiveness. After the fourth/fifth meeting we walked away feeling like Roe had never paid any attention to our meetings before. She would ask questions that we had already discussed and aligned on (including price), and it made us incredibly frustrated.

    The day of the actual wedding, 5 waiters didn't show up. We only new this because a good family friend who made our wedding cake stepped-up and helped out with serving. Looking back, this was way more obvious than we realized. We were supposed to have wine service during dinner and two bars were to be open the entire time. My husband and I were never approached with any appetizers during cocktail hour, never received any wine service during dinner, AND a bar was closed for the entire dinner service. Another big disappointment was that I have a gluten allergy and it was requested to have Titos up front in our beverage package. When I finally had a chance to grab a drink, the bartender told me they had ran out. When I went to ask Roe about it she said simply "oh, just have one of the other vodkas" as if ALL of those meetings where we discussed this didn't matter. Roe did not pay any attention to detail, the "gracious" service she talks about just simply didn't happen. Multiple guests told me their food was cold or wasn't even what they ordered.

    When my parents reached out to Roe after the wedding to discuss all of this, she refused to acknowledge any of the above mentioned and only offered to send a bottle of wine (which she never did). My parents just wanted acknowledgement of the lack of service and an apology, but Roe refused to provide either.

    If I could go back and do it all over again, I would not choose Festivities as my caterer.
