Amazing live music!

AJ did our ceremony music, and we are so happy we hired him! His acoustic sound was absolutely beautiful and set the perfect tone for the ceremony. AJ was so kind and easy to work with, and we are so happy we were able to add live music to our ceremony. Highly recommend!

Made our Wedding

AJ was amazing to work with! He learned two new songs for our ceremony and was able to create his own acoustic rendition of our favorite pop song to walk down the aisle to. Everyone raved about the music he played at cocktail hour. Even the vendor and photographer asked for his information! :) Hiring AJ was the best decision we made for our wedding as he truly made our vision come to life. AJ is extremely talented and you would be lucky to have him play at your wedding!

Amazing addition to our special day!

AJ performed at our fall wedding. He did the acoustic portion of the ceremony and out cocktail hour. All our guests were raving about him. He learned some songs for us, and was so easy to work with. He truly created the perfect ambiance for our favorite day. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to elevate their special day! Thank you AJ!!

Amazing and talented!

Aj performed at my daughter's wedding 11/06/21 during the ceremony and cocktail hour. He was very accommodating and easy to work with. I had many guest come up to me on how amazing he was and how they enjoyed his music. He learned new songs that they wanted in a short time I highly recommend him.

ceremony and cocktail hour

AJ played music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was amazing and all our guests loved the music. He was very accommodating to our music choices and also made helpful suggestions! The list of songs was extensive and also offered to learn some of our choice. He also referred us our our amazing DJ for the reception and they frequently work together which was great. would definitely recommend him!

Wonderful to work with!

AJ was great to work with. Even with the uncertainty that COVID presented us he was flexible and accommodating as our ideas changed. We had a song we really wanted as our first dance song that he learned for us to play! He was responsive with his communication and did a great job the day of! He was the first vendor we booked for the wedding and I highly suggest him!

Run, don't walk, to book with AJ!!!

We've been working with AJ since we originally booked with him in 2019 for ceremony and cocktail hour music. We found him on WeddingWire and followed his Instagram to get a "sneak peak" into his music. Just take a listen - he is incredible!!! We had to postpone our 2020 wedding to 2021 and AJ was responsive and more than accommodating. When we were deciding between ceremony songs he sent us recorded samples and even learned 3 new songs for us. AJ is fantastic to work with in every way! On the day of the wedding, I had so many guests come up and say how fantastic he was. He created a calm, relaxing and fun atmosphere for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. Amazing! Hire him!

We hired AJ for our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was fantastic! Several friends who are musicians commented on how talented he is and thought he was a recording at first. He was super responsive, so easy to work with and helped make our day perfect. Hire him! You won’t regret it!

Aj is the Best!

AJ is amazing all the way around! He is an incredible singer/musician! Great guy, kind, respectful, easy to work with! We had him for 2.5 hours....he was the best part of our reception and our reception was pretty damn great! We had a DJ for the other 2.5 hours just to get the group up and dancing. Incredibly talented

AJ is a pleasure to work with in planning the music for your event. He has a great song list to choose from and is willing to learn new songs. AJ learned three new songs for my ceremony and one new song for our first dance. He did an amazing job playing all of them. Having a talented singer/songwriter like AJ elevated our wedding and guests really loved his performance. We can’t wait to get our video footage so we can hear him all over again. Hire AJ for your event. You will not regret it.

AMAZING TALENT - Highlight of our Wedding

My husband and I were married almost 2 weeks ago now and looking back on our wedding day, one of our favorite moments is when AJ sang for our first dance. We chose Ed Sheeran, Perfect and he sang BETTER than Ed Sheeran… which is hard to do. His voice paired with his acoustic guitar really made our first dance special. Before the day, AJ made sure to reach out to our DJ to make sure they had the right equipment for him to plug in his microphone and guitar. Unfortunately, our DJ wasn’t sure if his equipment would work with AJs, so AJ brought his own speaker to make sure everything went smoothly. AJ also sent us a snippet of our song before our wedding day because he wanted us to choose between him playing the guitar or the ukulele. Even the audio snippet he sent made us incredibly excited to hear the rest of the song and for our dance! We cannot say enough good things about AJ, he is extremely talented, professional, and could rock anything from a campfire to a stadium (and anything in between). We will cherish our first dance forever and it is because of him. Thank you AJ!

The Best Decision!

If you’re looking for live music at your wedding, you have to hire AJ Edwards! We hired AJ for both our ceremony and cocktail hour and we could not be happier at how perfect his perfomance was. Our wedding was two weeks ago and everyone is still talking about how amazing AJ was – he was definitely the highlight of our wedding!

Throughout the whole wedding process, AJ was friendly, professional and easy to work with. Prior to booking AJ, we contacted him and he let us know he was performing at a local resutaurant. After watching him sing only one song, we knew we had to book AJ for our wedding. His voice is incredible and the range of artists he can cover is truly impressive. We would highly recommend AJ for any wedding/event! He truly is the best and we’re so grateful AJ was able to be a part of our wedding day. Thank you AJ!

Ceremony Music that made my wedding PERFECT.

Guests came up to me all night to ask "Where did you find your guitarist!?"

Everyone was truly amazed with the quality of the music. AJ also gladly learned an unconventional processional song for me, the theme from "The Office".

My ceremony was planned to be outside with a gorgeous view of the Boston skyline. I had always dreamed of an outdoor wedding. However, due to weather, we had to move the ceremony inside. I feared that my ceremony would lose its magic inside a ballroom, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The warmth of the music absolutely transformed the space and everything felt as intimate and magical as I hoped. Thank you, AJ. I'm so grateful for your talent at my wedding!

Booking AJ was a no-brainer!

We were so happy to have AJ for our big day! He had previously performed at both of my husband's sisters weddings and was a crowd favorite. It was a no-brainer to book AJ for our own wedding. He is beyond talented, very professional and quick to respond. I knew we were leaving ourselves and our guests in great hands by hiring him for our ceremony and cocktail reception.

AJ was also very helpful and worked with me to help pick out our ceremony songs and did a fantastic rendition of one of my favorite songs that I ended up walking down the aisle to - making that moment even more special.

I would highly recommend AJ to any one of my friends for their weddings or parties. You will be in amazing hands and your guests will not be disappointed. His music and talent is just beautiful.

Incredible SInger/Guitarist - Highly Recommend

We hired AJ to play at our cocktail hour and could not have been more happy! We went and checked him out before the wedding, and after just one song knew we had to hire him. He was the absolute highlight of our cocktail hour, and worth every penny. In addition to being a very talented singer and guitarist, he is also a genuinely nice person, and helped us out every step of the way. He was even kind enough to stick around and perform our first dance song, which was magical. I cannot recommend AJ enough, do yourself a favor and hire him for your next event, you will not regret it! 5/5 stars!

Everything we wanted and more!!!!

A.J. was absolutely amazing. We asked him to play "Chasing Cars" from Snow Patrol as i walked down the isle. I got goosebumps the minute I heard the song. His style and talent are off the charts! A.J. was professional, courteous, and fun to work with. All of my wedding guests were so impressed with him. Aj is amazing - the first vendor i hired!

I set my wedding date and signed my contract for my venue. The very next day I emailed AJ to make sure he was available to perform during our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was the first vendor I hired and besides marrying my husband, probably one of the best decisions I made for our wedding day. :) Being an event planner myself, I have worked with AJ on other events and his professionalism, talent and connection with each and every couple is unmatched. We are huge classic rock fans and he was able to give us exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. He even learned a country song he had never heard of before and quite honestly I think he sang it better than the actual artist. :) Months after our wedding, our guests are still telling me how they were mesmerized by AJ during cocktail hour. HE IS THE BEST! Thank you AJ for making our day even that much more amazing.

A Wedding Highlight

AJ exceeded our expectations for our October Wedding at the Cliff House. It was a very windy day and he managed to power through and was a guest favorite! He added so much to our cocktail hour as well and he even stayed a bit after he was done with the first dances so my guests could praise him for his truly exceptional work! AJ was simply amazing! AJ is extremely professional and responsive and we (and our guests) were blown away with the cocktail hour and his rendition of our first dance song. He arrived at our event site with plenty of time to set up and was extremely gracious to our venue. While we were planning he was very helpful in providing a sample of how he would play our first dance song. AJ was also patient as we went back and forth when we changed our minds on the songs we wanted to walk down the aisle to! All the songs were played with great musicianship and were absolutely beautiful. Having AJ singing live at our cocktail reception added so much warmth to the day. Working with AJ was sincerely excellent and absolutely seamless. AJ is a pleasure to work with. He is thoughtful, responsive, and an overall gem for any wedding or event in which one is looking for a talented, warm, and memorable solo artist. All of our guests kept asking us where we found AJ from. He truly added that personal and whimsical aspect to our wedding that we were looking for, from the preceremony music and processional to our cocktail hour and dinner. We hired AJ to play acoustic guitar for our wedding ceremony, cocktail reception and beginning of dinner. We were really happy with his performance and would hire AJ again in a heartbeat. When we first spoke with AJ, he walked us through the process of picking various songs and gave us advice on timing, logistics and song choice. We were impressed with AJ's professionalism, kindness and large portfolio of songs. He had all the songs we wanted at the wedding and he was willing to learn new songs as well. AJ's voice is amazing and all the guests we've seen post-wedding have commented on how great he was.

AJ performed live during our cocktail hour this past Memorial Day weekend and he was fantastic! His acoustic performance set the tone perfectly for our guests. I hired AJ at the last minute as we were not sure what our plans would be for our second wedding and he did not disappoint. I hired AJ to perform ceremony music as well as play for the cocktail hour for my wedding and can't say enough about how amazing he was! AJ was a highlight at our wedding!! We had him playing as guests arrived, during our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had to move his location mid-cocktail hour d/t weather and he was more than accommodating. He really worked with us to make our wedding unique to us. We had Aj at our Renaissance Golf Club wedding September 9th 2017. All of my guests are still raving about how amazing AJ was. I chose 3 Songs for Aj to learn. 2 of the songs were country which is not a genre I had heard him sing. He blew my expectations and did a wonderful job. Aj preformed my ceremony, cocktail hour, first dance and a group dance. I have Aj flexibility to use his judgement and chose a song for the start of my bridal march. He chose "here comes the sun" and it could not of been more perfect the sun came out just as he started singing!☀️

We chose AJ to sing our first dance at our wedding and his voice is absolutely amazing. He was very professional and wonderful to work with and even helped us with our song choice (since unlike most couples, I had no idea what song to choose). AJ will provide you with a list of song choices but he also offers to learn any song you want. I would highly recommend giving him a call! Thanks again AJ!!

If I could rate him ten stars I would! AJ played for our ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding and We could not have asked for more. We were absolutely blown away. He is so talented and our guests could not stop talking about him. Can't wait for our next big event because he will be the first person I call. AJ Edwards was the highlight of our wedding.

We spent hours looking for the perfect ceremony/cocktail hour musician before discovering AJ Edwards and we are SO glad that we did. We were admittedly not the easiest people to deal when it came to planning every aspect of our wedding - especially music - we knew exactly what we wanted and weren’t willing to settle for less, and I am not exaggerating when I say AJ Edwards went above and beyond.

From our first conversation to our last he was polite, professional, and believed in our vision. He had to create a totally custom package for us to make sure we were able to get exactly what we wanted and he was extremely fair in doing so. We asked him to learn more songs than he usually does for a wedding, totally re-do a song to make it slower so we could dance to it for our first dance, and record the slow version so we could have it forever - and he totally nailed all of it.

Everyone we talked to after the wedding mentioned how great AJ Edwards is. Our biggest regret was that we did not hire him to play our entire reception (he only played the special dances before our DJ took over). He DOES have a band you can book him with and we highly recommend you do so. BOOK AJ before he becomes too famous to play weddings!!

AJ was one of the best parts of our wedding. Not only does he do an increíble job as a musician, he was flexible, responsive and fun to work with. He accommodated for everything we wanted (ceremony, cocktail hour and he learned a special song for our first dance) and worked directly with the venue to organize so that we didn't need to worry. The day after the wedding we had a cookout, and several guests commmwntes that they wished he was there again! Really the best.

One of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding was having AJ perform. In addition to being a joy to be around AJ is extremely talented. We were beyond pleased with his performance and it really added to our day in a special way that we will always remember. All of the guests at the wedding had nothing but nice things to say about his performance. We had AJ sing our first dance and he was able to learn the song quickly sounded INCREDIBLE. It made that special moment so memorable and personal. We would choose him over and over again. We highly recommend AJ Edwards!

We had AJ Edwards sing/play guitar for our ceremony and during cocktail hour and he was absolutely incredible. For days and weeks after the wedding, our guests kept commenting on how good he was and how much it added to the ceremony. He was able to learn several songs for us in a relatively short notice, but also has a long list of songs to pick from. I highly recommend having AJ play at your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. You will not be disappointed!

AJ was absolutely amazing at a Sweet 16 party we held for two of our girls. His music touched the hearts of all of us, regardless of differences in age, we all found ourselves dancing and singing along. We hired AJ for 3 hours and found ourselves wanting more time to listen to him. AJ is professional, talented, and charming. Everyone loved him. We will definitely hire him again in the future. :-)

AJ is amazing!! We could not have chose a better performer for our ceremony and cocktail hour! He is incredibly talented. Our guests loved AJ and we have got SO many compliments on him! AJ played for our ceremony and cocktail hour at our recent October wedding. He worked closely with me via email and phone calls to plan the perfect songs for some of th most important moments in our lives. He was responsive, professional and insightful. I got married on August 2, 2014 at the Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth, MA. I really wanted a guitarist that could play and sing "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison as I walked down the aisle. I searched for guitarists for weeks until finally a wedding coordinator I knew recommended AJ. I knew from the moment I listened to his beautiful voice that this was the musician I had to have. I contacted him and he immediately got back to me and was so flexible with my vision for the day. He was so nice, personable and easy to work with! On the day of the wedding, I remember the doors opening and the most beautiful voice filling the room singing Into the Mystic. It was one of the most beautiful and memorable part of my wedding. Guests were talking about his remarkable voice and talent for the entire night. AJ sang and played through the cocktail hour and my only regret, was that I did not hire him to stay and play/sing my first dance with my husband. I work at the Seaport Hotel and I would recommend AJ to any bride that was looking for someone with the voice of an angel to play at her wedding. He is actually already on our Preferred Vendor List!

I could write a novel about why AJ was absolute perfection. This guy is a pro beyond all pros. First off, he was so easy and friendly to deal with and made this process a piece of cake. His quality of music and song list could not have been more perfect. We didn't have to give him any guidance while playing -- he just knew exactly what to do and how to feel out the crowd. We honestly had guests raving about him throughout the night and into the next day. I highly recommend booking him. You won't regret it. I can't wait for the next chance when we can book him again!

AJ performed during the cocktail hour at my wedding this past September. I have heard nothing but RAVE reviews about his performance in the month since. The venue was really cool and as guests walked in, there was AJ with his guitar as everyone made their way to the bar. It was really magical. His singing is amazing and he set the perfect tone for guests to unwind before the reception. But better than all of that was AJ's genuinely nice personality. We had talked with a lot of vendors leading up to the wedding and never met them in person. It was the same with AJ. The difference with AJ is he made an effort to say hi to my husband and I and have a quick chat that felt really genuine. Many vendors just show up, do what they're contracted to do and leave. AJ made us feel like it meant something special to him to be a part of our wedding day just as much as it meant something special to us to have him there. To top it all off, my husband had asked AJ (only the week before the wedding) if there was any fleeting hope that he might learn one additional song to play ('Don't Lose Your Love' by Ivan & Aloysha - great song!). AJ was able to learn the song and during the craziness of all the cocktail hour greetings we were both still able to tune in and hear it. I'd definitely recommend AJ to any friend/family member in search of a performer!!

AJ was amazing! He played ceremony and cocktail hour acoustic music for our wedding. We were beyond thrilled with his music selections and his renditions of our selections. He was easy to talk to, followed up with us, showed up on time and honestly, I never worried about him during our whole wedding planning process or the actual day :) He was a trooper and made the 3 hour trek to our venue and played through the pouring rain. We had multiple guests ask us for his contact info. after the wedding. Lastly, his voice is amazing. You will not be disappointed!

AJ provided the music for my wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and lunch reception this past weekend. From first message to goodbye at the venue, he was excited, easy going, and an absolute delight to work with. He was more than happy to learn a couple of songs that we requested for the ceremony, and he played them flawlessly. The last thing my dad said to me before we started our walk down the aisle was, "I'm SO glad we got AJ! He's amazing!" There is a quality to AJ's voice that just makes you feel warm and happy, and that feeling really filled the room as he played. I would happily recommend him for any wedding ceremony or reception - he will not disappoint!

One of my absolute favorite parts of our wedding was having AJ perform during our rehearsal dinner and during the cocktail hour!! He was outstanding! I had heard AJ play before so I knew how great he was and wasn't surprised AT ALL by how much praise he got from all of the guests at both events! Everyone was asking who he was and saying how much they loved the music he played and how incredible his voice is! AJ is such a nice guy and was so easy to work with. He sent a list of cover songs he performs and gave us the option to choose which ones we wanted. It was a great song selection and AJ, being the great artist he is, does such an incredible job of taking some songs and making them his own. I'll never forget the awed looks of our guests when he would put his own twist on a song and they loved it! There were also times when the whole crowd was clapping and singing along too. We're so grateful we had AJ perform for our rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour - he made these two events so much better! We would VERY highly recommend AJ for any wedding or event where you'd like live music!

AJ was fantastic. He provided both ceremony and cocktail hour music and everyone raved. He is the easiest guy to work with - he had to learn a new song for my processional and it was no problem, no hesitation. He knows a variety of music and he was reasonably priced (he was much better than some other, higher priced folks we reviewed). Quick funny story - my wedding planner recommended AJ. I listened to him and watched videos on-line and selected him as the best and representing exactly what I wanted. I didn't consult my fiancé. Separately my fiancé went to a local restaurant/bar about 2 weeks later and came back raving about this singer and how we just HAD to have him and he took his info. I regretfully informed my fiancé I had already hired someone. Yep - same person - AJ!

We had AJ Edwards perform for our cocktail hour at our wedding last month, and he was exceptional!
He was very professional and versatile in his song repertoire. We had heard him play before so were very confident in his talent and performance skills, and our guests were complimenting him all night! We chatted back and forth before hand and he sent us a list of cover songs he does, which was a very big and eclectic variety spanning decades and genres of music! We were able to hand select what we preferred to hear, and he played just that and was very accommodating. We would highly recommend AJ for any wedding or event where you'd like live music!

AJ performed at our wedding ceremony last weekend and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. AJ is an extremely talented singer and we were blown away with how well he was able to learn some of our special request songs (even including a Celine Dion song...sorry about that one AJ).

AJ was very easy to work with, extremely professional, and very reasonable with cost. He was extremely accommodating in incorporating a handful of songs we'd asked him to learn specially just for our wedding. All of our guests also agreed that he was a terrific addition to the day.

We would both highly recommend AJ to anyone. He is not only a great singer, but is also an extremely nice person and felt more like another friend at our wedding than just someone performing at it.

AJ played the ceremony music for my wedding in Newport, Rhode Island a few weeks ago. We worked with some pretty amazing vendors but AJ was absolutely the best. He was the easiest to work with, so pleasant and fun to be around, flexible, and most importantly, incredibly talented. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted for our ceremony music and executed better than we could have imagined. He even learned a specially requested song for me to walk down the aisle to! His beautiful indie-ish singer/songwriter voice created the perfect romantic and mellow vibe I had wanted for the day. Throughout the process AJ was extremely responsive and clear which made working with him a breeze. I would book him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to friends.

Booking AJ Edwards for our wedding entertainment was the BEST decision we could have made. From day 1 of planning, AJ was super easy to work with (from timeliness of securing a contract, to immediate response to ANY question we had, to making sure our day was going to be just how we'd hope). I knew instantly from his knowledge and demeanor that we were in good hands!
AJ played for our ceremony (and even as the crowd began to take their seats, per my mother's "on-the-spot" request), our cocktail hour, and even through our dinner. He is incredibly talented and knows how to engage a crowd, playing the perfect mix of contemporary and classic hits.
I have such fond memories of our recent wedding day and nearly all of them include the beautiful performance done by AJ. When reminiscing with family & friends, it is clear that AJ provided that extra special touch, which made our day a stand above the rest.

AJ did a phenomenal job at our outdoor wedding and cocktail hour on June 6, 2015. We requested The Beatles' Something for the bridal entry, Pear Jam's Elderly Woman Behind a Counter in a Small Town for the bridesmaid's processional and Tom Petty's Learning to Fly for the recessional. We were also extremely happy with his ability to keep the crown going at the cocktail hour. My wife and I would highly recommend AJ for your wedding or other event. Not only was the music great but he was very easy to work with.

AJ was a recommendation from someone's who's opinion I hold very highly- my brother, a fellow musician. His voice is spectacular, he did a wonderful job playing, and we loved his song choices, which were both contemporary and older. He was friendly and responsive, calm and collected which is always nice when you're a stressed-out mess; hugely talented. Everyone loved him. Acoustic guitar was definitely the way to go and most certainly more our style than violins or a harp. Our entrance song was Landon Pigg "I fell in love at a coffee shop" and our exit was Aloe Blacc's "wake me up" both which he played with vocals and there was not a dry eye in the place. Just spectacular, thank you!

All I have to say is I LOVE AJ, he is an amazing singer. When AJ sings I have to stop everything to listen to him. My sister and her husband also had him play at their wedding, and we have had him play at some private parties. We also try and see him whenever we can. I suggest having him play some of the songs that he wrote himself.

AJ is very professional punctual and reliable. You really can't go wrong hiring AJ.

Aj is a friend of my husbands. Both of us knew we wanted to have Aj play at our vow renewal ceremony. He did an amazing job. My bridal party walked down the aisle to "Falling in love at a coffee shop" by Landon Pigg. I walked down the aisle to "Something" by The Beatles. When the ceremony was over, we exited to "Fight or Flight" by Aj.

I loved having my own unique wedding music, it was definitely different than any wedding I've ever been to!
Aj did a fantastic job, and I'd recommend him to everyone!

AJ is a truly gifted musician and singer. My husband and I found relatively unknown songs and requested he learn them, rewrite the music for a guitar and his voice. He was beyond professional. He was/is incredible. All of our guests requested his info, not because they were planning their own weddings but because they want to buy his cd. AJ isnt only a wedding singer, hes a great musician that's going as far in this industry as he chooses. On top of all of this, as if it weren't enough, he's a great guy. I was lucky enough to stumble upon AJ playing at the bridal shop where my mother and I were shopping for my wedding dress. We were lucky enough to book him for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and would it again and pay 10 times as much he's that good! Since that day he has been a part of many many milestones in my and my families lives. Including my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary.
He is a crowd pleaser from the yongest to young at heart. I can't say or recommend him enough.

We hired AJ to perform our ceremony music & cocktail hour music. To say he is incredible would be an understatement. He was professional, friendly, responsive and of course talented!
