Oh, my goodness!!!!! My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better person to capture our day. From day one, Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was quick to respond and from the moment we started chatting, she felt like a friend. She went above and beyond with our day. A lot of changes happened before the actual day, and Skyler was so incredible and flexible. She really nailed our theme, and I can wait to stare at these photos forever. BOOK HER!!!!! -

Run, don't walk, to hire Skyler!!!
Skyler is hands-down the best photographer we could have hoped for!!!! We had an engagement photo shoot with her a year before our wedding, and she traveled to us, and it was absolutely a blast!! Our wedding photos turned out DIVINE!!! Not only are we in love with them, but we have gotten so many compliments from friends and family about them! She is honestly such a pleasure to work with and know. She is amazing at communicating, listens to her clients, and brings such a passion to her work. Five stars aren't enough. -

Skyler photographed my wedding and i am in awe of how beautiful our photos are. She has the perfect eye for wedding photography and you can really tell that she puts her heart and soul into her work. Not only is Skyler a fantastic photographer, but she is also just an awesome person. She is kind, patient, very flexible. and easy to communicate with. Anyone can take a photo but not everyone can capture a moment
Anyone can take a photo but not everyone can capture a moment. For our wedding, it was filled with these moments we wanted to cherish forever. After so much planning and preparation for the big day, my now husband and I, knew our whole day was going to be a treasure. Skyler and her team captured all of the hugs, the well wishes from friends and family, the dips and twirls of our very own fairytale first dance, the laughter and the tears shared amongst the most important people in our lives, the wiping of lipstick off my tooth by my mom while getting me into my dress, and all the little things in between that some would deem too minuscule to matter. Every single one of those times we’ll be able to look back on because of the incredible work Skyler did. The photos we received from our big day are not just photos. There’s motion to them and emotion that’s palpable just from a snapshot of a split second. Looking through the gallery told a story and it was more than we could have ever dreamed our wedding photos could be. If you’re looking for someone to show up 110% and give even more to your event, then Adornment Photo is absolutely for you. Getting a phenomenal photographer was on the top of our list and Skyler was one of the very first vendors we booked. We even traveled from Florida to North Carolina for our engagement photos a little less than a year out. Fast forward to our rehearsal dinner the night before with her assistant, Chelsea, and the big day with both of them there it was one of the top 3 BEST decisions we made for the wedding. She was on top of things and ready to go with an agenda of her own to make sure she utilized the whole time she was with us. For all the moments, big and small, she was there. Some might just see wedding photos but I guarantee you that the couple will see their gallery from Adornment Photo and they’ll go back to that moment like it’s frozen in time and feel the love, warmth, and utter joy all over again.

Spectacular
It was hard to find an LGBTQ friendly photographer who made us feel totally comfortable. We are so blessed that we came in contact with Skyler. Not only did she photograph our bridals, engagement, boudoir, and wedding but she did it with such ease. Skyler was accepting and made us feel so comfortable. Our wedding was in the middle of a hurricane and her team did everything to accommodate all of our needs. The pictures capture the little details and moments that you spend the rest of your life looking at. We are forever thankful for Skyler! -

Skyler is the most professional, personable, relaxing, funny, enjoyable, and kind human being I've "randomly" met ever. Long story short, I was a destination bride, she was suggested to me on Zola, and we only ever communicated via messaging. When I met her, I felt like I knew her, she did everything in her power to make my chaotic day as absolutely wonderful as possible and I cannot put into words how much her presence helped me. I chose to pay for an extra hour of photography and a second photographer to join her and it was worth every single damn penny. Her partner Jeremy was an absolute doll and helped in every part of what we needed to make the day go smoothly. Skyler was able to send me a few sneak peek photos the night OF the wedding which was so wonderful and I just got my full gallery back and I am still crying at how beautiful the photos are and how wonderfully she captured our day.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to her if you like her style of photography and if you're lucky enough to book her for your event or photo session, reschedule anything else in your life to make sure you get to have the chance to have her take your photos.
She is an absolute gem, has a great eye for photography, and will capture you in the best ways. I would never, ever hesitate to book her for any event or photo shoot in the future. -

Skyler and her husband were so wonderful to work with. Not only is she super nice and fun to talk to but she takes the time to learn what is important to you so she knows just what to capture. They were punctual, so creative, and really flexible with traveling from out of town and working with our crazy group of people. Our pictures were AMAZING and we will cherish them forever. Skyler hit the nail on the head with the vibe and style we were hoping for and turned our photos around so quickly! Our beach-boho wedding of our dreams is now frozen forever in these photos and we will likely stare at them every chance we get. Only problem is now how do we choose which ones to frame?! -

Trust Skyler. Seriously.
We LOVE our photos and video from Adornment Photo!! I was unsure on getting the video with our package, but am SO glad I did. Nothing quite beats the ability to look back on those authentic moments captured on our special day. Skyler and her husband were SO sweet and put us right at ease. They were so flexible and helped us through the entire process. I could not be happier with the finished product, they captured the emotion of the day perfectly and the pictures/video are something we will truly treasure forever. Skyler and Jeremy are not only beautiful people inside and out but create work that is absolutely breathtaking. Their expertise, creativity, and passion for their craft showed through every moment spent. I could not be more grateful that we were able to share this special day with them. The amount of photos we got back is absolutely insane and every single one of them I am absolutely in love with. They captured my vision better than I even imagined it. They both worked very hard and helped throughout the day in numerous ways. Skyler was so helpful in communicating with me throughout the almost 2 year time span leading up to the wedding. We are from Tampa and she worked with my schedule in order to get my bridals done. She even calmed my nerves as we got closer to the big day when I panicked about timelines and rushing through moments I didn't want to. Also, let's not forgot the moment she saved my life from the largest spider I had ever seen crawling up my dress. We received such an abundance of photos, and each one was captured expertly. We truly have the best possible photos to help us relieve one of the biggest weekends of our life, forever. Thank you Skyler and Jeremy, Colter and I couldn't be more thankful for you both. Simply perfect!
We can't rave about Skyler enough! From day one, she was attentive, flexible, and incredibly laid back, which helped alleviate our stress and make the process more enjoyable. Anytime we had questions, she was quick to respond and worked with us on any change we wanted to make. On our wedding day, she and Jeremy made us both feel at ease (which can be difficult when you have a bride and groom that are very awkward when getting their pictures taken) and they made the day fun! Not only were the pictures beautiful, but you get SO many back and the turn around was so much faster than expected! Skyler and her team is absolutely amazing! When I was searching for a photographer, I was looking for someone who was personable, would help us to feel natural and beautiful, and could created amazing photographs. Adornment Photography checked all 3 boxes and more!
To say Skyler is personable really doesn't do her justice. She is so incredibly sweet and genuine. All of my bridesmaids and family loved working with her and she truly felt like a guest at our wedding.
My husband and I were so nervous to be in front of the camera because we consider ourselves to be awkward and not photogenic. If this is you, THIS IS THE PHOTOGRAPHY TEAM FOR YOU! Skyler made the whole event so fun! We were moving around and laughing in almost every photo, but she still was able to capture many perfect natural moments. We had the best day and never worried for a second about how our photographs would come out.
Skyler's work really speaks for itself. She is able to capture that tricky morning and evening light and create a mood in her pictures. Her attention to detail during our big day was exceptional. She was able to capture so many little moments that I never want to forget, but would have never thought to document. We were so impressed with Skyler's work on our engagement photos, that when we had to reschedule our wedding (#covidbride), my husband and I called Skyler first to make sure that she was available for our new plans! I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else to capture our big day.
Skyler was so considerate throughout the entire process. She met with me prior to engagement pictures just to get some of my ideas and learn about our style. She incorporated all of our wishes and ideas and created the most amazing album and we couldn't be happier. -

Look no further for a wedding photographer!
Skyler with Adornment photo is without a doubt who you want capturing your wedding on your big day. To say that she will go above and beyond- would be an understatement.
Her raw talent is spectacular, she took the time to understand our vision and was sure to encapsulate it in an even more spectacular way than we could have imagined. Skyler was very responsive, professional, and authentic. Her little flares of wit and whimsy are fun and unique and sure to bring a smile to your face (ie- I had the option and elected to receive my first invoice via carrier pigeon haha). We had unforeseen changes and challenges along the wedding planning process and even day of- Skyler was adaptive, extremely compassionate, and professional. Her humor immediately made us feel relaxed and not stiff/staged. As a result our wedding photos are incredibly authentic- what more could you hope for! She captured every aspect of our wedding, leaving out no important details.
It is a rarity to have the opportunity to work with someone who has such a command of their profession, a genius of their field. Skyler is an expert at her work. If you are fortunate enough to have her available on your wedding day, book her. Right now… Or considering moving your day to when she is available. You 100% will not regret it.
ps- Because of Adornment photo, our wedding was featured in a wedding magazine. If somehow this review isn’t convincing enough, that should be. People who do weddings for a living know she’s in the upper tier of photographers. Her passion and talent really show in her incredible work. -

Uh-mazing!
I’ve known Skyler since kindergarten, but that isn’t why I chose her to capture our day. She is absolutely amazing and her work is exceptional. My husband is definitely not one for pictures, but she was able to capture beautiful photos of us where he doesn’t look like he’s getting acid poured on him 😂 we are an unorganized bunch, unfortunately, but she was able to get everything together and keep us going with what needed to be done. She and Jeremy go above and beyond to make sure that they capture everything you could want. I am so in love with my photos, and I will recommend her to anyone and everyone I know getting married. You cannot go wrong with using Skyler to capture one of the most important days of your life. -

I honestly think there is no one as genuine and talented to capture your special moments than Skylar with Adornment. She truly has a gift for working with people and her heart is in this 200 percent. Skylar did our engagement session and wedding, both of which turned out more than amazing! Both my husband and I are a bit camera shy, but she is so down to earth that we were able to open up and take some of the most romantic pictures ever! She bends over backwards for you (not just metaphorically, but literally to get the best shots.) What drew us to reaching out to her was that we loved her aesthetic, but we loved what everyone was saying about her, but even her mission statement on her website was so real. Our wedding day was perfectly captured, and none of them were the cookie cutter wedding kind, she makes sure that everything is natural and unique to you. Not to mention, we received a highlights album the night of the wedding which was so fun to look through. Y’all, this girl literally sent us a Christmas card with the cutest Polaroid, and after the wedding she gave us a puzzle with one of our wedding photos during quarantine! If that doesn’t speak volumes to her compassion and dedication to her clients, then I don’t know what will. I cannot recommend a better or more amazing person to capture your life's special moments with. I truly love this girl and what she stands for in this industry! I cannot wait to work with her again in the future! -

Skyler is amazing. Not only is she an amazing photographer but she is an amazing person. She really went above and beyond what she needed to do during this crazy time in the world (aka covid-19). Picture perfect!
We had a very unconventional elopement which included hiking up a mountain in freezing weather and Skyler was a trooper and our biggest cheerleader! Despite the cold she took her time to make sure she captured exactly what we wanted and we haven’t stopped getting compliments on our photos since we’ve posted them. Since a lot of our loved ones weren’t there, it was important to me to get the best photos and Skyler more than delivered. -

Skyler and her husband were everything we could have wanted and more. My mother had a goal to have family/wedding party pictures done and over with in a short enough time that we could enjoy the cocktail hour and Skyler made this happen! Skyler also made sure that she scooped us up when the lighting was just right to take some bride/groom pictures in the surrounding fields. It was, by far, the smoothest wedding photography experience I have ever been a part of. -

My partner and I looked at literally dozens of photographers for our wedding, and Skyler stood out from the start. Her approach felt natural and looked stunning. She responded to our initial inquiry immediately, and we had a great phone conversation about our hopes for the photos. Leading up to the event, Skyler was amazing in asking about all the details she might need to know. She arrived promptly on the day of, and was patient through the hectic last-minute wrangling of family members. She made us feel at ease during pictures before and after the ceremony—not a simple task for a couple of awkward introverts!
It was such a pleasure to have her at our wedding, for my husband and I as well as our many friends and family members who commented on how fun and gracious our photographer was.
Picking the right photographer was one of the most difficult and important decisions for us, and our expectations were high. Skyler has met all of them and more. The photos in the sneak peek she sent us (before the day of the wedding was through!) were gorgeous. If you want someone to capture beautiful memories, on the best day of your life, and make you feel comfortable all the way, Skyler is the perfect photographer for your wedding! -

Their eye for beauty in the everyday is heartwarming and inspiring
Truly captured the joy of our event even in our disorganized, self-planned wedding reception. They went with our lack of flow and turned it into something beautiful that we will carry with us forever. We lacked the typical extra garb of flowers and flairs and our shots, instead, focused on our expressions of excitement and giggles over how messy we all are. We had Skyler to photograph our wedding celebration with our family (as we eloped), and we could not have asked for a better experience. Skyler has such a wonderfully artistic eye for how to give you exactly the look you were going for. She had photographed my family and my home a number of times, and is my #1 go to for any sort of photography, especially when it involves a moment as memorable as a wedding day or celebration. You don’t want to settle for anything less than perfect when it’s your special day, and Skyler is 10/10 the best.
