Brenda was so wonderful to work with for my wedding. I married a man who truly believes I look better without makeup (I know), so while I wasn't going to get married without any make-up on, I did want to still look like me for him on our wedding day. Brenda perfectly took on the no-make-up make-up challenge and built up slowly until we found a style that made me (who does like make-up) feel beautiful, but wasn't so much as to be heavy or too over the top to my husband. I also really appreciated that she was ready to do battle with my bridesmaids and keep them in line if that was needed (it wasn't), but I noted and appreciated that she is in the bride's court. All the women in my wedding party looked beautiful and she was able to work with my bridesmaids with sensitive skin who could only use certain products. She is just so easy to work with, and the final result is so gorgeous, that I really cannot recommend her strongly enough. -

Brenda from Adore Rouge was so wonderful to work with. She was extremely professional throughout the entire process and did a great job explaining everything/answering all my questions. I don’t normally wear much makeup on a daily basis so I was very concerned that I would look fake/not like myself on my wedding day. Brenda assured me that she would create a look that would make me feel like the best version of myself and the day of my makeup trial she did exactly that! She talked me through everything and asked for my input at each step. This was something I really appreciated and it made me so excited to work with her again on the big day.
Fast forward a few months, Brenda arrived early the day of the wedding (!!) and immediately got to work. She was very efficient with her timing and made my mother, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids look great. Once it was time for me to get into the chair, she again put my mind at ease. Brenda created the most perfect bridal look. I felt so beautiful and I couldn’t have been happier. My husband and all our guests also kept commenting how beautiful I looked, which was very much thanks to Brenda! She exceeded all my expectations and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of a make-up artist! -

Brenda, and her friend Colleen from Aphrodite Salon, were two of the first vendors I picked for my wedding in Castine, Maine this past August 2019. As soon I I nailed down the date I rushed to email them hoping that they would be available. I was so impressed by how natural yet glamorous every bride they worked with looked. I met Brenda for the fist time in August 2018 when she did my make up for my engagement photos in Portland, ME. Brenda was kind, took the time to listen and understand what I was hoping to achieve. and made me feel the prettiest I'd every felt. I couldn't have been happier to be working with her for my wedding. On my wedding day Brenda, Colleen and their team were wonderfully at ease and felt like four other bridesmaids in the room. I wanted to look like the best version of myself and they brought that to life beautifully. I'm already trying to think of opportunities to work with them again (future maternity photos.... I think so :)). If you're looking for a makeup/hair team that will help you and your closest friends look like the very best versions of themselves look no further than Brenda and Colleen. They were a dream to work with and I couldn't recommend them more. -

Great experience!
Brenda is so talented and made me feel so great on my wedding day! Her airbrushing made myself and my bridal party look flawless. She does a great job of balancing a natural look while keeping in mind what will look best in photos. She is also so great the day of, making for a calm atmosphere on a hectic day! Would 100% recommend to all! -

Brenda is incredibly talented and I am so lucky I was able to work with her for both my pre-wedding eyelash extensions and wedding day makeup! Brenda was professional, timely, and so easy to communicate with throughout my wedding planning process. She is attentive and considerate, and really took the time to get to know me. Brenda listened to the style and look I was seeking and offered thoughtful ideas/suggestions on how best to achieve the look I was going for. Brenda’s experience and knowledge about makeup and eyelashes is evident. She knows how to perfectly enhance your best features without making you feel unlike yourself! I felt like the most beautiful and confident version of myself on my wedding day thanks to Brenda and I couldn’t be more grateful!! Thank you Brenda, you are the best! -

Picking a makeup artist for your wedding day can be a bit tricky, and I was so relieved and grateful to have found Brenda and Adore Rouge. I never had my makeup professionally done prior to my wedding trial and was not sure what to expect. I gave her the description of an "enhanced natural" look I hoped to achieve, and she nailed it. Not only is Brenda incredibly talented, she is also a cool person to be around. She gave honest feedback on my wedding look, which frankly was invaluable to me as someone who barely knows how to apply liquid foundation. On my wedding day, Brenda and Virginia were true professionals and put up with a cramped, dark, hotel room on a rainy day and made all the ladies in my wedding look stunning. Everyone's makeup looked amazing in person and in photos. I highly recommend Adore Rouge for your wedding or any event. -

Brenda traveled overseas for my wedding in Scotland. She’s literally one of the most talented, and wonderful makeup artists I have ever encountered. Being in the industry, I knew I needed someone I trusted. She delivered. I looked and felt gorgeous!

Myranda Sent on 10/06/2017Brenda is AMAZING!!! She was so easy to work with from the communication/booking to the trial and on my Big Day. She was willing to listen to my ideas and help me make final decisions. I love that she was able to put her own spin on my ideas but still stayed within what I wanted. She explained everything to me in detail and made sure that I was happy with every step of the process. On my wedding day she arrived on time and had everything she needed. Brenda and her assistant worked so well together and made the whole process quick and efficient without sacrificing the the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend Brenda to everyone and would go to her again in a heart beat!

I found Adore Rouge on Wedding Wire to do my makeup for my engagement pictures, as a bit of a trial run for the wedding. I was looking for an artist who used airbrush makeup, and wasn't afraid of doing more than just the "I want to look like I'm not wearing makeup" kind of look without (on the opposite end of the spectrum) making me look like I was assaulted by the MAC counter. Brenda delivered. My engagement photo makeup was flawless, and I knew she was the one to execute the makeup of myself and my bridal party on my wedding day. Her prices were reasonable, she was incredibly professional and communicative, she showed up exactly on time, finished on time, and everyone was thrilled with their makeup. My own makeup lasted all day, and I both looked and felt my absolute best. Definitely recommend Adore Rouge.
