Hands down the best decision we made!
We truly cannot say enough amazing things about The Admiral Room. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make every single one of our (many!) big, creative, sometimes “crazy” ideas come to life — and somehow made the entire process feel effortless. They genuinely cared about making our wedding feel like our dream, not a cookie-cutter event.
The food was absolutely impeccable. We were able to create a fully custom menu — from appetizers to entrées to desserts — and every bite was memorable. Our guests are still talking about it. Every grand décor vision I had was executed beautifully, with the team handling all setup seamlessly and thoughtfully. The day flowed perfectly, we never had to worry about a thing, and everything ran so smoothly.
Thanks to The Admiral Room, our wedding was truly the best day ever. If you’re looking for a venue that listens, cares deeply, and brings your vision to life in ways you didn’t even realize were possible, this is it. -

The Admiral Room and staff made our day absolutely wonderful. We booked with them about a year out from our wedding date, and Cyndi always maintained communication with us. Everyone we interacted with was extremely professional, and personable. Our first look at the venue was breathtaking, while the overall budget was more than we had anticipated - it was absolutely worth every dollar. The entrees and appetizers we sampled at our tasting were lovely, and tasted exactly the same on our wedding day. The wedding coordinators (Cyndi, Kate + Josh) were amazing to work with, they made our wants top priority and our on-site ceremony and reception were beautiful with no hiccups. The serving staff and bartenders were extremely attentive and made sure everybody ate and drank well. We would highly recommend against booking with the affiliated hotel (Embassy Suites by Hilton, 200 Delaware Ave.). The hotel gave us issues at every possible moment. From not allowing us to book a block of rooms, trying to DOUBLE the rate for the rooms a week before the wedding, not allowing us to check-in to our room until 4:00pm when our ceremony started at 4:30pm, and ultimately cancelling the courtesy shuttle due to us "not checking in soon enough", this hotel and it's staff are horrid. Our wedding party was split between three floors, and while they "upgraded" my wife and I to a king suite - it was directly under construction that we were not informed of, that began at 6am. -

In some ways, The Admiral Room speaks for itself. All you have to do is walk into the room to know that you are in Buffalo’s most beautiful venue. But beyond the marble, windows and chandeliers, is an exceptional team of professionals who clearly love what they do – and they do it really, really well. Our first meeting with Cyndi was a pleasure and she immediately helped link us with a coordinator to help us plan every detail of our day. Chef Tommy curated a perfect menu and accommodated every dietary accommodation that was requested. In the weeks leading up to our day, Josh and Kate were in touch and mindful of every detail we couldn’t imagine. The day of our wedding, the entire team was fantastic; every person on staff was excited, attentive and friendly. Dinner and bar service for nearly 300 guests was a breeze. Hands down, the team at The Admiral Room is simply the best. -

Best night ever!
We and all of our guest cannot stop raving about our experience at the Admiral Room! We planned our wedding in 6 months and Kate, Josh, and Cyndi worked with us every step of the way and made the day run so smoothly! They answered all our silly questions throughout the process and were always willing to help out in any way possible! The Admiral Room speaks for itself, so grand and elegant! All of our guest were amazed with the food and experience, especially the attentiveness of the staff! We had our wedding there on a Friday and it ended up being the best day! We were able to celebrate the whole weekend! AND the amazing thing is, because it was on a Friday we were able to rehearse on Thursday and see it mostly set up the night before (added bonus). My Husband is originally from Bosnia and had some cultural aspects that we wanted to add to our wedding and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted/needed. The whole staff at The Admiral Room made our wedding dreams come true and I cannot give them enough praise! Makes me and my husband want to get married again just to have another party there! -

A Wedding Photographer’s Dream!!
The Admiral Room is hands-down one of my favorite venues in all of Western New York!!! After years of photographing weddings here, it still finds new ways to wow me. With the soaring ceilings, marble walls, tall windows, and dreamy chandeliers, the space feels iconic the moment you walk in.
As a wedding photographer, I’m always looking for great light, beautiful backdrops, and a solid team behind the scenes - The Admiral Room checks every box. The staff is next level. They truly care about creating an incredible experience for couples and their guests, and it shows in every part of the day.
Some of my favorite images ever were taken here. Every time I’m lucky enough to be back, I know it’s going to be a beautiful day!! -

Everyone had an amazing time
We had such a great wedding at the Admiral Room all of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to and the food was fantastic. I also had a lot of addition decorations to set up and the Admiral Room was great and set up everything perfectly the attention to detail was amazing. I gasped when I saw how amazing everything looked. Could not recommend this venue more. -

The Admiral Room has the most gorgeous architecture and allows for couples to truly utilize the space and make it their own. The wedding team is passionate, organized and very accommodating. The details and tasting meetings provide so much information and planning that help couples feel confident and excited about hosting their wedding here. Amazing Wedding!
We are thrilled to recommend the INCREDIBLE team and event space at the Admiral Room. 1st class, professional, experienced, honest and caring are a few words to describe the wonderful people who make up the “A Team” (as we call them). Josh, Kate, Cyndi and Chef Tom are truly the BEST in Buffalo! Together with their help we gave our daughter the wedding of her dreams. They were a complete joy to work with as a family and extremely accommodating with our event vendors (florist, bakery, band and others). Always with a smile and an authentic “Yes, we can” attitude/response. Their design and attention to detail helped to bring our vision to life.
Chef Tom was so wonderful with us! Multiple tastings as we chose the perfect menu. He even created a special chicken dish not on the menu for us. Our guests are still talking about the size of their fillets! .. and our vegetarian friends were happy too!! The food- 5 stars, OUTSTANDING!! The service was amazing as well! We all noticed and appreciated the special attention given to our guests, family and most importantly the Bride and Groom! Whatever they wanted, they had! The room itself is breathtaking with the beautiful marble interior and gorgeous entry staircase. The acoustics in the room were PERFECT with our band, Party of Nine. The dance floor was full all night long!! If you are looking for to have a spectacular, memorable event- the Admiral Room is it!! -

September 1, 2024 was everything we could have dreamed up and more, and that was all thanks to Cyndi, Kate, Josh and the entire team at The Admiral Room! After booking our wedding date back in the summer of 2023, they helped us create our perfect day from the layout to the amazing food to the order of events. We had our ceremony and reception in the most beautiful venue in Buffalo and we haven’t stopped thinking about how perfect it all was. All of our guests, from WNY natives to our Texas friends and family, have continued to talk to us about the grandness and absolute spectacle of The Admiral Room!! We would 1000% recommend to have your wedding there and we can’t wait to be invited back to a wedding at this beautiful place! Thanks for making our dream day a perfect reality! -

Where do I even begin…. First of all The admiral room is just absolutely stunning. The second I walked into the venue my family and I just knew we had to have our wedding here. I’ve seen pictures but nothing truly prepares you for just how amazing it is in person. On top of how absolutely stunning the venue is their staff is FANTASTIC!!! Katie, Josh & Tommy took everything I said and truly listened and DELIVERED. I have no notes at all, our day was absolutely perfect. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about it and it’s all because of the amazing venue team and vendor team that we had. If you’re considering the admiral room don’t even think twice about choosing this beautiful place with amazing, caring people who are want your day to be just as perfect as you do!!

Slattery Wedding
I cannot put into words how AMAZING everyone and everything is at The Admiral Room. All our 200 guest are still talking about how great the food was and how beautiful our wedding was. My husband and I could not have done it without everyone at The Admiral Room. They made the planning process so easy and executed everything perfectly. The Admiral Room not only gave us the BEST wedding ever but they also felt like family. Absolute Perfection does not even begin to describe how truly wonderful The Admiral Room is. -

The admiral room. Wow I knew when I saw this venue two years ago I knew it was the place for us. From the beautiful architecture, amazing food, and outstanding staff it was the most perfect day. Best day of our lives
Where do I begin!? From the moment we laid eyes on The Admiral Room, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding day. It is breathtaking and jaw dropping. I had several people come up to me and say this is the most beautiful venue they have been to. Josh & Kate were so helpful in making our wedding day dream become a reality. They absolutely exceeded our expectations throughout the whole planning process and on our wedding night. Cyndi & Josh were there night of to assist us in anything and everything to make our day run smooth. At one point throughout the night Josh was down on his hands and knees with a flashlight helping to bustle my dress. I can’t explain enough how easy the staff was to work with. Just amazing, down to earth people who genuinely care about you. The food was absolutely delicious!!! We had many compliments on how amazing the food was. Our wedding day truly was the best day of our lives thanks to the Admiral Room & their staff. I will forever be so thankful for them!! -

Best venue experience ever
Selecting a wedding venue was the most important decision we made, so important that we were willing to have a 2 year engagement in order to get married at the Admiral Room! It absolutely exceeded all expectations and we couldn't be happier with our choice :)
Not only was the natural beauty of the venue is absolutely breathtaking, the team - Josh and Kate specifically - were nothing short of phenomenal. From the initial tour to the final send-off, their professionalism and attention to detail were impeccable. They were not just vendors, but true partners in making our day extraordinary. Their expertise and experience were evident in every aspect of the planning process, and they worked seamlessly with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly.
They worked with us to make all our small details come to life. We wanted specific specialty drinks, a light show during certain songs, and a very quick sit down dinner. They executed all this flawlessly and we had several guests rave that it was the most organized, efficient and delicious dinner service they had ever had. With 310 guests this was no small feat, but Josh, Kate and the team made it happen.
The team at the Admiral Room truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. They anticipated our needs, handled every detail with care, and created an atmosphere of pure magic. We are forever grateful for their dedication and hard work. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple seeking a truly magical wedding experience. -

This venue though 🤩 and this team 💯
My husband and I got married 7.10.22 at OLV with our reception at The Admiral Room. Our wedding day was an absolute dream. I couldn’t envision it having gone any other way looking back. So spirit filled, so fun- the perfect blend of classic meets modern- stunning 🤩
For reference sake, I did not have a wedding planner- I had help extending from my mom, MOH, bridesmaids, to my wedding day photographer Lydia Maybee and of course- staff at the Admiral Room played a major role.
What initially drew me, specifically, to this space were the pictures I came across online (I live out of state). Historic, fully renovated bank from early 1900s 🏦, marble everywhere, sky scraping ceilings and floor to ceiling windows for natural light? …In the heart of downtown Buffalo, NY with every 🏨 within walking distance for OOT guests- #wheredoisign
The team at the Admiral Room from Josh to Katie, Cyndi to Cookie + catering- they delivered on every detail. They were incredibly helpful and communicative despite being so unfathomably busy still dealing with 2020’s aftermath.
I felt so supported. They were all pros.
In planning, things come up- it can be a challenge. I had trouble finding a florist. My mom was so worried- it was the one thing we didn’t tackle early on. One breath of concern to the Admiral Room, and Kate had a florist on the phone 📞 immediately who, by the grace of God, had our wedding date available. Brant Jones 🌸 FTW- he is a world renowned florist/creative who purposefully flies under the radar and he’s local.
The food was amazing from appetizers to entrees. We were able to bring in wine 🍷 of our choice (Duckhorn Cab always) for our guests’ tables. We brought late night 🍕 in from our favorite local pizzeria that Josh helped coordinate. The visual effects that Josh (fireworks, Bills 🦬 logo) projected on to the ceiling during the reception were game changing 🥳 so elevating! Our guests were stunned. Also, live band- all the way- Cory Klawon + team, y’all still got it 💯🤍 and the sound was spot on!! For anyone concerned about the open space + marble- be not afraid!!! The sound system in place made it perfect for speeches- not one complaint from my side and that’s saying something Baha.
And then the band sounded perfect 🎵
My only regret is not doing the s’mores 🔥 display that Admiral Room offers!! I would have loved that additional option to our dessert 🎂 🍨 🍭 table.

Upon arriving at the admiral room for our initial tour I immediately knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect day from ensuring the event ran smoothly to giving my 95 year old grandma spaghetti with sugar as it is her favorite food. All of our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the food, services, and professionalism of all of the staff. Our wedding day was the most perfect day and we can not thank the admiral room enough. Do not hesitate to book with them- it will be the best day of your life! We love you- Jen & Steve -

We can honestly say we have 0 regrets from our wedding day. Every detail went according to plan thanks to all of our amazing vendors. The Admiral room was an amazing space and our pictures are out of this world. Guests could not stop talking about the food throughout the night and our bar package was extremely customizable we were able to accommodate the tastes of all sides of our families. We utilized the bridal suite and the room on the main floor for a desert display and both were well worth it. It has been six months since our wedding and I am still hearing about the amazing job the admiral room staff did with our deserts (cake slices, Italian cookies, canolis) that they allowed us to bring in from an outside vendor. -

The Admiral Room did an amazing job at my daughters wedding on 12/4/2021. The place was made to look so beautiful at Christmas. They were so easy to work with, professional and accommodating. Amazing from start to finish!

We had our wedding at the Admiral Room this past November and it was an absolute DREAM!! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue. All of the staff went over the top from day 1 to give my husband and I the most perfect day. The food was amazing, the guests all had a blast!! We also had to move our original date because of COVID and they could not have made the process any easier on us. 10/10 would recommend the Admiral Room!!!! -

Words cannot explain just how perfect my wedding day at the Admiral Room was. From the first meeting with Josh and Cyndi, to every single detail that followed. I could not have imagined a more perfect day. Josh and Caitlin were BEYOND anything I could have ever imagined when it came to bringing my vision to life. They are an absolute DREAM. Leaving my wedding day in their hands was the best decision I could have ever made. They both will have such a special place in my heart for making sure the day was nothing short of amazing. The venue was stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff was beyond. A day I will remember for the rest of my life and I owe it all to this beautiful place & amazing people!

If you want classy, stunning, beautiful, and a one-of-a-kind venue, the Admiral Room is the place for you! From start to finish, wedding planning was easy and fun thank to Josh and Cyndi at the Admiral Room. They are true professionals and helped us tremendously through the tricky times of the COVID-19 pandemic and the NYS restrictions. We finally got our day - with no restrictions!! - and it was the most perfect day. The decor was stunning, the food was delicious, and the staff couldn't have been better. I cried when I walked into the room! It was magical and I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else. It was worth the wait :) -

Fairy Tale Wedding Venue
There is no better place to have a wedding in Buffalo. Josh, Cyndi and Kate went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. As the mother of the bride, I truly enjoyed the entire evening knowing they were in charge. The food was amazing, and the food and drink service was quick and professional. I want to go back and have the whole wedding there again. Don’t hesitate. Book the Admiral Room. You won’t regret it. -

Our wedding venue was magnificent. Josh our wedding coordinator was very engaging, knowledgeable and resourceful. Our rehearsal dinner was also there at the bank vault. The venue is elegant and timeless. You won’t regret hiring the venue. -

Everything we dreamt of!
There’s nothing that compares to The Admiral Room in Buffalo. We had 230 guests and there was enough space for everyone to sit and move comfortably. The wait staff was very professional and the food was delicious (kudos to Chef Chris). Recommend asking your DJ to bring extra speakers due to the high ceilings. That helped carry the sound well throughout the room. It was a magical evening! -
