Truly Amazing!

Jacklyn and her team over at Adelyn’s Canvas made myself and all my bridesmaids feel beautiful on the day of my wedding. My wedding was this past September and I truly cannot thank them enough. Their communication from the moment I sent an email about a trial up until the day of my wedding was on point. Jacklyn was very responsive and knowledgeable. They are all so kind, caring and considerate.

Jaclyn is such a calm and fun energy for your wedding day!

Jaclyn was so easy to work with leading up to my wedding on 11/15/25. She shared detailed quotes quickly after I told her my requirements and was flexible with changes that came up to my wedding day (changes to the amount of people needing makeup done and getting ready location). Her trial was great and I felt beautiful. She listened to me and did an even better job on wedding day. I told her I wanted to look like me and she delivered. I felt ready for the spotlight with her calming, fun energy and incredible talent as did my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids loved their experience getting ready and one of my bridesmaids hired Jaclyn for her wedding a couple years ago. When I met Jaclyn in 2023, I knew I had to have her do my makeup for my wedding because she did such a good job with me as a bridesmaid!

Adelyn's Canvas is amazing!

Jaclyn & her team did an incredible job on my wedding day! We had a large bridal party (8 including me), plus a few extra family members getting their makeup done, and we couldn't stop talking about how much we loved our makeup looks. Jaclyn takes the time to get to know your features and what look is most flattering, while honoring your wedding look preferences. For mine, I was going for a "natural-glam." Jaclyn and her crew are AMAZING. she did my wedding, my sister’s wedding, and my best friends wedding and all three were perfect. The communication is amazing and in the months leading up to the wedding it is clear and organized. The trial is also well planned and prioritized by them and you feel super confident and relaxed on your wedding day. Cannot recommend enough!

Best hair and makeup I have ever gotten! They made my special day perfect and made sure everything ran smoothly. Amazing experience with Lexi and Michele!

Lexi and Michele did a fabulous job with Hair and Makeup for me and my wedding party. The trial was easy and very helpful for solidifying what I envisioned. I was a little indecisive and they both were flexible with last minute changes to my look on my wedding day. There was some confusion and last minute changes to how many additional guests requiring services, the team was understanding and accommodating through it all. Michele stayed for hair touch ups and when it started to rain she stepped in and helped out in a big way. We used her car to get me to beach for the ceremony, where she waited there for me so that I could stay as dry as possible for the reception. Both Michele and Lexi went above and beyond I would use them both again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend using Adelyns Canvas for your big day!!

The best day of my life elevated !!

I don’t even know where to begin with how grateful I am for Jaclyn and Tracy at Adelyn’s Canvas. Jaclyn, the makeup artist and owner, was truly my saving grace on my wedding day. From the moment she arrived, she brought such a calm, kind, and warm energy—something every bride needs. She’s beyond talented, patient, and funny, and somehow managed to make the morning feel effortless and full of joy. My makeup was everything I dreamed of—flawless, timeless, and still so me.

And Tracy—oh my goodness, Tracy took my natural curls and elevated them in a way I didn’t even know was possible. She honored the texture of my hair, worked with such care and intention, and made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. The time and love she put into every curl did not go unnoticed, and I will never forget how confident she made me feel.

These two women are not only masters of their craft, but genuinely beautiful souls. I’m forever grateful for the role they played in making my wedding day so special.

Perfect Wedding Hair & Make Up

I absolutely loved my make up and hair on my wedding day and that is thanks to Jaclyn and Adelyn's Canvas and Tracy and Ahern Beauty! I did a trial with them (they came to me, which was incredibly helpful) and didn't know exactly what I wanted so they asked thoughtful questions, made great suggestions and tried a few different things which helped me figure out what look I wanted and felt good in. Jaclyn was incredibly organized and on top of everything throughout the whole process. It's so important to start the wedding day off on fun, positive and good vibes and they delivered - it was so much fun getting ready with them and highly recommend them.

Wedding makeup

I was married July 2023 so this is very overdue! Jackie the founder was so sweet and easy to work with. She helped to coordinate both hair and makeup since Adelyn’s Canvas is partnered with Ahern beauty. I have to say having both hair/makeup from the same company made planning easier. Jackie is very organized. Also my sister has a severe disability, and she took the time to speak with me on the phone and come up with a plan on how we could best accomodate her on my wedding day. It really meant so much to me. Jackie did my makeup for my bridal shower and it looked amazing! I received so many compliments. Devon Griffin did my makeup for my wedding! She is such a sweet and talented person. My makeup looked beautiful, natural, and stayed put all day approx. 10am-1am. Also I got married in JULY on the hottest day imaginable. I received so many compliments. I highly recommend Adelyn's Canvas!

Overall a great choice

I booked Adleyn’s Canvas/Ahern Beauty for my wedding after hearing positive reviews from friends who had used them as part of other bridal parties. I wanted a very natural look, so I still looked like myself, but so I was also photo ready. I had two trials for my hair with Michelle. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but she was happy to try multiple styles and didn’t make me feel bad about it! I had one makeup trial with Lexi who also did my makeup the day of. Lexi took feedback positively and there was quite a lot of feedback from one bridal party member. She definitely practiced patience and kept the vibes positive! The combination of Lexi’s calm and quiet demeanor and Michelle’s bubbly personality were the perfect combination on wedding day. Myself and all the girls looked great. No one was in the bathroom “fixing” their look after the fact - and i think that tells you everything you need to know! Plus, they were great to communicate with leading up to the day, timely the day of, and overall really easy to be around. I could imagine the day going very differently without the right hair and makeup vendors! Thank you Michelle and Lexi!

Jacklyn and her team are the best in the business! They did my makeup + 15 of my family & friend’s makeup for our wedding in Florida. They are organized, professional, but above all, kind and fun to be around on your big day! Jacklyn immediately understood my vision for Welcome Party and Wedding Day makeup. I have never felt so beautiful and confident - which is exactly what you want before walking down the aisle! Jaclyn, Tracy and their team did an incredible job with my wedding hair and makeup. Everything was even better than. the trial and exactly what I wanted for my wedding day look. All of my bridesmaids have let me know that they absolutely loved their hair and makeup and didn't even want to take it off at the end of the night because it was that good. Great experience with this team!

Michele was my hair stylist and Lexi was my makeup artist. I so appreciate both of them for helping me to feel beautiful on such an important day. They were professional, attentive and amazing at their jobs! I last minute added an additional hair stylist and makeup artist, which was an easy process. They were also fantastic and helped everything go smoothly! My mom, mother-in-law, sister and friends all loved their hair and makeup as well. I would highly recommend this team for hair and makeup for your wedding!

Perfection!

Jacklyn is amazingly talented! I could not have been happier with my trial and my wedding day make up. But also, my brides maids, and my mother, could not have been happier or looked more beautiful!! Besides being enormously talented, Jaclyn is such sweetheart and so so easy going! It was like having a good friend with us doing our make up. She really helped with keeping the vibes upbeat and stress free on my wedding day. When I tell you that not a single one of my brides maids wanted nor needed any changes to their make up once she was done, it was just incredible. Jaclyn made sure we were not only ready in time, but we were ready at least 20 minutes early! And keeping ahead of the time line on your wedding day can make such a difference in stress levels. When planning a wedding there are lots of costs to take into consideration, Jaclyn is worth every penny and then some. If you don’t hire her you will regret it!! Lastly, My younger sister is getting married next year, and my mother refuses to use any other make up artist besides Jaclyn (and my mother can be very particular!) so we hope Jaclyn will find time to do our makeup for my younger sisters big day!!

Jacklyn, I cannot thank you enough for making my wedding day everything I hoped for and more. Thank you for making me, all my brides maids and my mother look beyond stunning! You are the best of the best! I am so happy and grateful we had you with us on my wedding day!!

HIGHLY REC! Jackie and her team are true professionals! They made me look SO beautiful, listened to my little tweaks, etc. I wanted more of a glam but natural look and Jackie really executed on it! She even found me the perfect fake eyelashes that went best with my eye shape. She always communicated to make sure I was comfortable and helped me with the timeline for my bridesmaids. All my girls LOVED their makeup. Most of all, I had so much fun with her!! I had her stay with me all day for touch ups, etc and she went above and beyond to always make sure I was looking perfect, staying hydrated and even fed! I also had them do my rehearsal dinner makeup which was flawless!!!! Highly highly recommend Jackie & her team!!!

The best team!

When my previous hair / MUA cancelled on me a month before my wedding, Adelyn's Canvas came to my rescue. At the suggestion of a friend, I reached out and tried to get a trial scheduled. Their team was SO accommodating, meeting me at the crack of dawn that Saturday so that I could get a trial done ASAP. And these ladies are TALENTED!!! I have never looked so beautiful, and my hair and makeup lasted through the rain all day / night of my trial. And the day of my wedding, I looked FLAWLESS! I asked for a natural look that enhanced how I actually look, and that is exactly what I got. I can't say enough good things about Adelyn's Canvas! They are (SUPER!) talented, and genuinely care about their brides!

Pick them!

I don't even know where to start with this review! I had the most spectacular experience with Jackie and her whole team. First of all let me tell you how BEAUTIFUL I felt on my special day. The make up was absolutely flawless and last all night ( And I danced HARD and sweat A LOT) I felt like an absolute queen, also she made my whole bridal party and family look incredible. Each woman had the most perfect make up. Jackie and her team were able to fit in a FOUR last minute additions without any fuss or attitude. She truly made my day so easy. As for hair. Candy- was incredible. My hair was gorgeous, everyone looked perfect. Each member of the team made all of us feel so comfortable and we just had the best time with them. They really could not have done anything to make my experience any better. I would recommend them 100 times over.

Stunning bridal hair / makeup!

Stunning bridal hair / makeup! On behalf of my 9 bridesmaids, 2 moms, flower girl and myself - wow! Aside from enhancing everyone's beauty, Tracy and Jackie were truly a joy to have on my wedding day. It felt like getting ready with girlfriends, laughing and having the best time. Their natural aesthetic is truly what sold me - they listened to the "natural but enhanced" vibe I was going for and brought it to life.

Initially, I was nervous about the amount of people in the bridal party and the timeline to get out of the door on time. As the true professionals they are - we were early!

Everyone in the bridal party loved Tracy and Jackie and a few already have them in mind for future events. I could not be happier with the service - I absolutely recommend!

Great experience with Jaclyn and Lexi

I had such a great experience with Adelyn’s Canvas for my wedding. Through a postponement because of Covid and losing a couple of bridesmaids because of Covid concerns, Jaclyn was incredibly flexible, understanding and responsive as we had to adapt. Lexi was our makeup artist and she did an amazing job. She was helpful during my trial despite the fact that I’m no makeup expert so wasn’t able to provide much direction. And on the wedding day, she was totally professional and made me feel at ease on my big day. I was very happy with my look. Would absolutely recommend!

Thank you to Michele and Sam for being the two most patient and helpful women on my wedding day. You both stepped in to help out with bridal attendant duties when the one that was assigned to me was clueless with deer in headlights look on her face. I'm so happy with your services and how all the ladies (including myself) who got ready with me on my wedding day looked so beautiful and felt taken care of. Both my mother and mother-in-law tried on fake eyelashes for the first time AND they kept them on for the entire night! Originally, I had planned to change my hair to an up-do but decided against it because I loved my curls so much that I kept my hair down the entire time to enjoy them even while dancing. The best service and people!

Jaclyn, Michele, and their whole team are outstanding! They made me and all my friends and family feel and look beautiful. They really listen to what you want (and don't want) and will keep working with you until you are happy. My (now) husband hates it when I get my make-up done for weddings as I don't usually wear make-up, but he loved what Jaclyn did for our wedding, it looked so natural. The whole team is professional, while also being so kind, funny and helpful! Tracy and Jackie are truly amazing. I had used them twice before my wedding day, and each time I was blown away. Jaclyn is the make up artist you dream about hanging out with on your wedding day! She's so laid back and an expert in her field. I had flawless natural makeup that lasted the entire day and night. Dream team

This review is long overdue , but I cannot say enough great things about the team at Ahern Beauty / Adelyn’s Canvas. I could not have asked for a better group of ladies to glam me and my girls up!

I first met Jaclyn when she did my best friends make up for her wedding and I knew I had to book her when I got engaged. When I reached out she was extremely responsive and quick to answer all of my questions. I had my initial hair and makeup trial with Jaclyn and Tracy for my engagement shoot. I was always nervous about my hair (I have very curly/course hair) but Tracy made me feel at ease and worked with my curls and Jaclyn really makes you feel amazing in your own skin.

Unfortunately, when Covid hit I had to move our May 2020 wedding to August 2020 and Jaclyn was no longer available for my date. I had Lexi for the day of the wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. Lexi and Tracy are not only great at what they do but they were so much fun to be around that day. They are such genuinely nice people and it was nice to have such a calming presence the day of. My bridesmaids, mom and mother-n-law all looked amazing as well , and they worked with them to make sure everyone was happy. I also want to add that they made sure to follow all safety precautions and made all of us feel safe and comfortable getting our makeup done during this crazy time!

Don’t hesitate to book this team and for your big day- You will be in great hands!

The best of the best!

BEST of the BEST!!! I found Adelyn's canvas on The Knot and after reading all of the amazing reviews knew that I needed to reach out, and I am SO GLAD that I did.... I first contacted Jaclyn in March of 2019 for my originally scheduled May 2020 wedding, right from the beginning she was incredibly responsive and kind-- even though I would later learn that she was away in Hawaii for a project during that time-- I was specifically looking for a Makeup AND Hair team, and right away Jaclyn connected me to Tracy, at Ahern Beauty..... THIS IS THE DREAM TEAM.

I scheduled a trial and they came to my house and tried several styles with me to find what I liked best. Beyond that, meeting them at the trial was so much fun- they made the experience feel really special and by the time the trial was over I KNEW I NEEDED to book them and signed on the spot. This was the easiest and best vendor decision I made for the entire wedding.

Fast forward to 2020, the pandemic hit and our plans, like so many others, needed to change. Jaclyn was incredibly accommodating, switching over our contract to our new date for later that year. When we realized that our new date was also unlikely and changed our plans once more Jaclyn jumped right in. We spoke on the phone and via email several times to iron out all of the details and was incredibly flexible with me, especially considering I only gave her 1 month's notice.

On the day of the wedding, Adelyn's Canvas and Ahern Beauty showed up on time, opted in to our covid rapid testing--- which stretched out timeline--- and still managed to get everyone's hair and makeup done and LOOKING AMAZING on schedule. All of my bridesmaids were ecstatic, many claiming that this is the best they've felt for any wedding. Even more, everyone loved hanging out with them all morning.

I had them stay for touch ups, which I highly recommend, especially because they have such positive energy and a calming presence while so much is going on around you! They made me look perfect, exactly how I envisioned and kept my looking that way all throughout the wedding day.

I am so incredibly grateful to them and so happy that I chose Adelyn's Canvas/Ahern Beauty to work with on my wedding day

After dealing with so much craziness of COVID hands down Jaclyn made me feel safe and at ease getting makeup done for my wedding. Not only was she an artist she was calming, kind and true professional. I really felt like the best version of myself. I can’t imagine my wedding morning with out her!

Jackie is the best makeup artist you will find!

The best decision I made for my wedding was hiring the Adelyn's Canvas / Ahern Beauty team. Jackie and Tracy are not only incredibly talented, but they are genuinely wonderful human beings that I enjoyed spending my big day with. Jackie has this impeccable ability to match the perfect palette of colors to each individual that I have not experienced with any other makeup vendor I have worked with for my friends’ weddings. Because of this team, I looked and felt like a goddess all day while still looking like myself, rather than feeling hidden behind heavy makeup and extensions. Their ability to emphasize my natural features and keep everything flawless for the entire day was unbelievable. Jackie got to know every lady personally and made every person feel heard, treating each woman like it was her special day. Jackie’s ability to colorblend is mind-blowing and she will not stop until every person is 100% in love with her work. If you want a kindhearted, caring, and fabulously talented individual to get you through your wedding, look no further. My husband could not believe how natural and enhanced I looked and he keeps raving about how I looked so natural since we were both afraid of the glam, over-the-top vendors on Long Island. Just amazing!

I used Adelyn’s Canvas for makeup for me and my 13 bridesmaids on my wedding day. Jackie from Adelyn’s Canvas made me feel absolutely beautiful on my day! I loved how she was able to give me a special look while also keeping it natural and allowing me to feel like myself. All my bridesmaids looked so beautiful too! I have already had a few friends reach out to ask who my hair/makeup stylists were so they can contact them for their upcoming weddings. Can’t Thank Enough

Choosing Adelyn’s Canvas as a vendor for my wedding was a complete joy. From my first email- this company made me feel so relaxed and taken care of. I had the pleasure of having Michele and Tracy as my hair and makeup the day of. They are true gems. Pleasant and warm, exactly the type of people you want to surround you during an emotional morning.

During the trial, I was struggling with the makeup looks I thought I might like/ look good on me. I brought my ideas to them and they happily helped me figure out what worked and would complement my dress. On the day of, both were early and ready to start. They worked quickly but with such precision and care, truly listening to what everyone wanted. We stayed on schedule and everyone loved how they looked. I asked for slight variations to my hair from what we did at the trial and they adjusted without issue. My sister who had never had her makeup and hair professionally done felt so at ease with them, it was awesome to watch. My own hair and makeup lasted the entire day- past the after party. And I personally felt amazing and confident- loving every aspect of the look they had created for me. I can’t thank them enough.

Friendly professional makeup artist

Samantha was a true makeup professional and lovely person. She listened to all of my concerns and came prepared with makeup that didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. As a person who doesn’t wear much makeup she made me feel like the very best version of myself (with a little extra wedding glam.) My makeup was also PRISTINE for the entire night—through tears and all. 10/10 would book for every occasion.

Amazing Hair and Makeup!

I used Adelyn’s Canvas and Ahearn Beauty for makeup and hair for me and my 12 bridesmaids and I cannot say enough positive things. My sister had used them for her wedding a few years earlier, so I was not that surprised when they wowed us once again. ALL of my bridesmaids were extremely happy with how their makeup and hair came out. Jaclyn and Michele and their staff are super friendly and were fun to hang with while getting ready. They made sure that each bridesmaid got what they wanted, continuing to do touchups as the bridesmaids asked. As for me, the bride, well they knocked both hair and makeup out of the park. After trying multiple hairstyles at my trial and still being indecisive, Michele continued to work with me until I decided on the perfect style. I absolutely loved how I looked on my wedding day (as did my husband). They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend both companies to all brides.

Unreal Makeup!!!

Adelyns Canvas was absolutely wonderful! Jaclyn and her staff did the most amazing job on my makeup (bride) and all of my bridesmaids. Everyone including myself looked like rockstars on the day of my wedding! Jaclyn was so easy to work with, and really concentrated on everyone’s personal aesthetic, making sure she captured the style everyone was looking for. All of us had airbrush, and let me tell you, the next morning the makeup was literally perfect! It did NOT move! I never felt more beautiful in my life than how I felt on my wedding. The team was SO down to earth, super laid back, and very easy going. They were so fun to be around, and really made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease during what could’ve been a very stressful morning. BEST Makeup choice for my wedding!

I found Adelyn’s canvas by researching on the knot after endless hours of trying to find the perfect makeup artists. I wanted to book people who did hair and makeup, as it makes it easier to manage my vendors, and also peace of mind knowing they already know how to work together—so it was perfect she has a sister company, Ahern Beauty which does hair. Jaclyn had great reviews and a modern website so I sent an inquiry and booked a trial for my engagement photos. She came to my apartment for the trial which so was so nice and convenient.
The engagement makeup came out great, but since I’m really not used to seeing myself in professional makeup I booked a second trial to coincide with my hair trial closer to the wedding date. I tend to be pretty particular about my makeup and she had no problem continuing to change and tweak my look little by little until it was perfect in my eyes. I basically wanted an “enhanced” version of my regular makeup I do on myself and she totally nailed it.
I LOVED the way my makeup looked for the wedding, she spent time making sure everything looked perfect and I was happy. She even make sure to bring the same brand lashes that I loved from my second trial.
The day of my wedding I had makeup and hair for 7 ‘maids, 2 moms and myself. The makeup came out amazing—everyone looked stunning and the makeup lasted well into the night. My BM’s that got their makeup done as the first appt (9AM) still looked flawless at 2AM (and for reference it was a hot day in the middle of July).
The wedding day went very smoothly, and they were done early, so there was absolutely no getting ready stress. During the whole planning process Jaclyn was extremely quick to respond to all e-mails. Another thing I loved is that I could pay ahead of time so I didn’t have to worry about a bunch of cash the day of. 100% would book again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing makeup!

Incredible experience, loved my beauty team!!!

I got married in Montauk NY this May 2019 and I could not have been happier working with Tracy and Jaclyn for my big day! I highly recommend them to any bride looking for an excellent beauty team. They were incredible from the trial all the way through to the last minute touches on the big day. I wanted an old Hollywood glam/waves look and wow did they meet all my expectations! Hair and makeup can feel like a big deal on your wedding day (something I was nervous about) with most of the attention all focused on the bride, all the photos being of your face and the full bridal look; with Tracy and Jaclyn, it all happened with ease and perfection. We tried a couple different makeup and hair looks with 2 trials I did, and the final look on my wedding day was 100% what I wanted and I could not have felt more beautiful. My 5 bridesmaids, flower girl, mother, and mother in law all got their hair and makeup done. Everyone looked so beautiful and all were happy with their look! I did go with their suggestion to use extensions and they were very nice quality clip in ones that I was able to take out on my own, and I do think it made a different like Tracy suggested (I also got to keep them which was a nice perk). As far as working with them and having them in my space to get ready, Tracy and Jaclyn were super fun, a pleasure to work with, both such lovely people who I would choose to work with again and again if I could relive that journey over! Thank you both so much for making my dream look come true on my wedding day!

My event planner recommended Adelyn's Canvas telling me that all of the bridal parties that Jaclyn worked with always seemed to be having the best time. I'm so glad that I listened to him. My bridal party and I had such a great time getting ready with Jaclyn. She listened to each of us, taking our own style into account, making us look like better versions of ourselves.

Absolutely amazing experience!

Having Adelyns Canvas for makeup for both my engagement shoot (trial) and wedding was one of the best decisions I made throughout my planning process. As someone who doesn’t often wear makeup I felt absolutely beautiful. I let Jaclyn know what I had in mind and she executed it beyond what I could have imagined. The whole bridal party felt beautiful. Our makeup did not budge or smudge all night. Jaclyn and her colleague arrived at my hotel on time and were ready to go. Great Experience - Loved my Wedding Day Look!

Both hair and makeup were through Jacklyn Accetta, and they were just fabulous! The ladies came to my parent’s home super early in the morning, had all of my bridesmaids done quickly and right on schedule, and everyone looked beautiful. The girls were also so sweet and even put up with my family dog walking through their tools throughout the morning. I was so impressed with their work and thrilled with the outcome. My whole group was very happy with the experience.

So I know a lot of people do multiple trials to find someone, but I didn’t really want to spend money on testing out multiple hairdressers. I think the purpose of the trial is to figure out what you like and don’t like. I did not love my hairstyle from my hair trial, but I gave that feedback and went through exactly what I wanted, and my hair came out amazing the day of my wedding. My curls were beautiful and so unique to me, and they even lasted through to the end of the night after plenty of wind and dancing. Michele was also super sweet and was able to work with my feedback without taking anything personally. I was so happy with the outcome.

I’m not a make-up person – I barely wear any and before this had never even had fake eye lashes before. So I wanted something very natural. Lexi executed my look perfectly. My makeup was natural and stayed on all night as well. One of my friends commented that I looked like myself with better eye lashes – so it was a great success!

Amazing!! Early, flexible, and made me looking stunning!

Lexi and Michelle were amazing!! I got so, so, so many compliments on my hair and make-up!! Not only did they come meet me in NYC in a hotel room for my trial, they came to my parent's house in Amagansett for the wedding - which was full of my family (nieces, nephew, babysitters, etc) and they were completely unfazed by all of the chaos. They listened to what I wanted and had very helpful suggestions when needed. My mom, sister, and sister-in-law also got their hair and make-up done and they were all very happy with how they looked! Lexi and Michelle were early for every meeting and very responsive throughout the process. They were an awesome way to kick off my wedding day!!

Simply Amazing!!

Adeyln's Canvas and Ahern Beauty blew me away with their professionalism, courtesy towards clients, and amazing work they do! I was always concerned about not looking like myself for my wedding day as many makeup artists and hair stylists tend to over do the job. I was speechless seeing myself in the mirror as they combined natural beauty with amazing artistic enhancement. Everything about my makeup and hair look was perfect and it photographed so well, lasting the entire day from 5am start to late into the night. My photos came out so nice and all of the girls in the bridal party were absolutely stunning! I would choose them over and over again! Michele was so wonderful to work with all throughout the process, exlaining every little detail perfectly and building great rapport with my bridal party, the moms, and myself! My Mother-in-Law never wears make up and she made her absolutely glow the entire day while putting her comfort first! Candy was wonderful with all the hair styles we threw at her! There is nothing she can't do when it comes to amazing styling! I had been messaging her regarding changes in my personal hairstyle and she accomodated it so well, delivering the exact look I was going for! She did the flower girl's style on the spot and it fit her beautifully. All the girls were great to interact with and it was such a pleasure to work with their company. I would recommend them to everyone, whether it be for a wedding, party, or special event. They are fantastic and enhance everyone's natural beauty with a great touch of elegant glamour.

Amazing team!

If you are still looking for a beauty team for your big day, LOOK NO FURTHER. I cannot say enough good things about this beauty team. Makeup: I had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Michele for my enegagement photos, rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Aside from being an awesome person, she takes the time to understand the look you’re going for. Hair: Brittany styled my hair for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding day (two very different looks). From my first hair trial with Brittany I knew I no longer had to stress my decision on wedding day hairstyles. I was indecisive in the beginning, but after meeting with her and seeing what she could do it was a huge relief. As a team, they truly made me feel like an enhanced version of myself & brought out beauty in natural features. They are professional, experienced and really ran the show on my wedding day. With one indecisive bride, 9 bridesmaids, 4 flower girls, & 4 family members all getting hair/makeup done, I anticipated a ton of stress/nerves to come the morning of our big day. Because of Michele, Brittany & Lexi, our Bridal party was nothing but smiles. Even our little flower girls felt like princesses. Lexi is an Angel & styled some of our most critical mini members of the bridal party. We all have very different features, styles and complexions and they totally nailed every look. They certainly made us feel like royalty, not to mention traveling all the way up to Vermont. I wish I had more excuses to work with these three ladies! Best Decision!

Tracy and Jaclyn, I cannot gush about them enough. My friend hired them to do her wedding in 2015 and knew I needed to have them do my hair and makeup at my wedding one day. Fast forward to when I got engaged in 2018, they were the first vendors I needed to book. Tracy and Jaclyn are both incredibly skilled; my bridal party, myself and my mom looked stunning. While getting ready they felt like a couple friends that just happen to do amazing hair & makeup. These ladies were never too far to make sure I looked my best at key moments; right before I walked down the aisle, after many kisses on the receiving line, right before the reception, there was never a hair out of place or a bit of shine on my nose. Not only were these ladies there for touch ups, but they kept me calm in times of high stress. Do yourself a favor a makes these ladies apart of your day of team!

Perfect service

Me and my hubby are from Norway, we had a elopement wedding. We did a lot of research and reading reviews online. We looked at Instagram pictures with their hashtag and looked at their photo online. I am a typical Scandinavian girl with pale skin, blonde and blue eyes. Michelle did my makeup very pretty and listen to my wishes. After the trial I did not have to worry. excellent service, coming to our hotel for both the trial and the day.

Michele & Lexi Are a Dream Team!

Michele and Lexi were amazing from the very beginning. From scheduling a trial to coordinating the wedding day, they made everything so easy. We had 10 people getting hair and makeup done so they had to arrive at the crack of dawn, and they were right on time with smiles on their faces! Lexi completely understood the look I was going for, wanting more than just natural makeup but not too over the top. My mom wasn't sure how she wanted her hair styled and Michele was so sweet and patiently re-did it for her 3 times. We had plenty of time because they knew to build extra touch up time into the schedule. Can't recommend them enough, they made getting ready stress free and everyone looked great!

Exactly what i was looking for!

I typically do not wear very much make up. When looking for a MUA it was important to me that I find someone who could give me a natural look but still make me feel beautiful for the big day. Through recommendations found on the knot, I found a MUA that had rave reviews. I scheduled my initial trial and shared that I was looking for a very natural look. During my trial, the MUA insisted on adding thick eyeliner and dark eyeshadow telling me I would need it for pictures. $150.00 later, I HATED my makeup and was told in order to do another trial I would need to reschedule and pay the $150 trial fee again. Needless to say I left the trial extremely upset and felt like I was never going to find a MUA who could make me feel comfortable... until I found Devon from Adelyns Canvas. As soon as I told Devon about my experiences she assured me that she would work with me until we found the right look. She came to my house, with her HUGE luggage of makeup and listened to exactly what I wanted. Throughout the process she assured me that we would do my makeup over and over until it was exactly what I wanted. Luckily Devon hit the nail on the head the first time and I LOVED it. My make up made my skin look flawless and my features pop without the crazy boldness that most MUAs insist you need "for pictures." When it came to my lashes I was unsure if I wanted them. Devon put them on... then off... on.... then off... all with a smile on her face! She is SOO sweet and really made me feel comfortable. Devon also did four of my bridesmaids' makeup and they all LOVED her as well. I am sooooo happy to have found Devon and would highly highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, natural look.

I cannot say enough good things about Michele and Brittany. Both came to my parents’ house to do my trials and immediately signed the contract with them. They are so sweet, fun, easy to work with, organized, responsive and prompt! Everything you hope for. I couldn’t have asked for a better team!
Michele was my main point of contact for both hair & makeup. I loved my trial and not sure what I said that she picked up on that my wedding day makeup was even more perfect! Michele checked in a couple times prior to the wedding to see how everything was going and even post wedding to see how everything went! She really made you feel comfortable and worry free. Michele also did make up for my bridesmaids, mother and mother in law and everyone looked absolutely beautiful.
Brittany was my hair stylist and I showed her a picture of what I was looking for. She nailed it! I ordered extensions through them which I was nervous about since all they had to go by was a picture I sent. They assured me that they knew what they were doing and they would make sure the color matched. Sure enough, they were a perfect match. My hair looked flawless and stayed the entire night!

I used Adelyn's Canvas for my wedding this past October and I can't tell you HOW happy I am that I did! I reached out to Jaclyn from the company to schedule a trial and she responded so quickly! As soon as it happened, I was so happy, I paid the deposit and booked them. Then about a few hours later, after wearing the makeup for a while, I realized I wasn't that pleased with it. I reached out to Jaclyn, and she scheduled another makeup artist (Lexi) to come do another trial for free. I absolutely loved it! Lexi and I would text here and there to make sure we were on the same page on lip colors and lash looks-- she was a sweetheart! On the day of the wedding, Lexi arrived on time and just as excited for me as my bridesmaids were. Wedding Makeup with Michele and Hair with Candy

Michele and Candy were beyond wonderful. They were so warm and easygoing, they put me at ease and made me feel totally comfortable. I don’t usually wear makeup, and I am very picky with both my makeup and hair. They both had tons of patience - Michele tried three different foundation options in my trial (including none at all, as per my request) just to make sure that I felt comfortable and loved what we chose. They were open to making any adjustments I wanted, so I never worried about asking for what I wanted. I’ve also never loved the way my hair or makeup looked this much. They are so, so skilled. They were also flexible when I wanted to add one more person at the last minute. Honestly I couldn’t recommend them any more — they were an absolute dream team. Thank you both so much for making my wedding day even more special.

I worked with Devon for my trial which was for my Bridal Shower and knew that this was it! She was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. She knows exactly what would look good on you and made recommendations to fit your face/skin tone. Both for my bridal shower and for the wedding my makeup lasted the ENTIRE DAY with the exception of the lipstick and by the end of the night it still looked as if it was just done. Wonderful Vendor and Experience

I hired this vendor and Ahern Beauty for my hair and make up for myself for my wedding and they were amazing!!!!! From my trial to the day of, I have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say. They are a bit on the pricier side but it was so well worth it. I dealt with the companies via this website and then via text with the actual girls who did my hair/makeup the day of and the communication was amazing throughout and they were so warm and personable. The day of, Candy did my hair and Christina did my makeup and they were both so awesome. They helped me stay calm, worked with me on the looks I wanted and any alternations we needed to make from the trials and they were just fun to work with as well. I would recommend them hands down!

Devon and Danielle were excellent!

I contacted Adelyn’s Canvas for makeup and hair for my wedding and for my bridesmaids that was out in Greenport. I originally did a trial with both Devon and Danielle which was great because we got to try out different styles and got to know each other. They made the morning of the wedding perfect as they traveled to our wedding suite. It was a lot easier then running around all morning by having them come to us. Both girls were on time and professional. And all of us looking stunning! I had the airbrush makeup and my skin looked flawless and stayed that way all night. Devon took great direction with my makeup and gave me the perfect natural look that I wanted. Danielle gave me beautiful beach waves that held all night. I could not have been happier. My bridesmaids were all also very happy with their hair and makeup. Everyone looked great and no one was rushed and both Danielle and Devon took their time with everyone. Devon was absolutely amazing! From the trial to the big day, she went above and beyond. I'm a girl that loves to get all dolled up – I often frequent DryBar locations and have had GlamSquad come to my Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan apartment to primp me for my engagement photo shoot in November 2017. Adelyn's Canvas is a preferred vendor for NYIT de Seversky Mansion, which is where we had our second (yes, second) wedding on 9/15/18. Jaclyn Accetta, my wedding planner (Leah Weinberg of Color Pop Events), and I did a whole lot of emailing back and forth about pricing, how many girls for which days (first wedding was on 9/14/18), and everything ran so smoothly for both the hair/makeup trial dates and the wedding dates.

I contracted with Adelyn's Canvas, receiving makeup artist Devon Griffin for both 9/14 and 9/15. Adelyn's sister company for hair, Ahern Beauty, provided me with hairstylist Danielle Nelson for 9/14 and Candy Diaz for 9/15. I am basically at a loss of words for the magic that each of the women performed on both myself, my bridesmaids, my mother, and new-nieces! Everyone looked absolutely radiant on both evenings!

That being said, due to scheduling issues, I did end up having the same makeup artist for both nights and two separate hair stylists for the weddings. This worked out fine! I ended up having two beauty trials in my Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan apartment (it was lovely for the girls to travel), as I had two completely different wedding looks: 9/14 was a glittery eye/maroon lip, long hair extensions half up/down, dramatic look for the Hindu wedding, while 9/15 had a more traditional 'bridal' look with softer makeup tones and an updo. We tried a light application of airbrush foundation (loved it!), while both hairstylists nailed it on the first try going off of my inspiration photos. Each woman was so lovely to work with, arrived early and with such joy in their faces to be a part of my special day. At the end of the beauty routines, the hugs were plentiful as I was amazed at how beautiful both myself and my loved ones looked.

I contacted Jaclyn for hair/makeup services for my wedding. She scheduled Johanna (makeup) and Andrea (hair) to do a trial on the day of my engagement shoot. They did a fantastic job - my hair/makeup looked amazing and photos came out great so I hired them to do hair/makeup for me and my bridal party for my wedding. All of us were very happy with our hair/makeup at the wedding and all of us look amazing in the photos. The makeup looked great and not too heavy - the airbrush made our skin look perfect! I purchased hair extensions through them as well and they looked incredible - I can't believe how perfectly the color matched my hair and how well they blended in. I also hired Andrea and Johanna to stay for touch ups till the ceremony since we were doing our first look photos in Central Park in 95 degree weather. They were so great about keeping my hair/makeup together even though we were outside for over an hour in the crazy heat and they kept handing me water bottles between photos to make sure I was staying hydrated. My hair/makeup in my ceremony photos looks perfect and fresh even after being outdoors. I would highly recommend them for your wedding!

It was so nice to work with Devon and Lexi of Adelyn’s Canvas! Devon was recommended to me by my now cousin-in-law, and I am so happy she recommended Devon to me! I met Devon prior to the wedding, as she came to my home, which was very convenient, to do the makeup trial. She listened to what I wanted for my wedding day makeup. I wanted a natural, yet dressed up look for myself, as well as for my mom, now mother-in-law, maid of honor, and bridesmaids. I met Lexi the morning of the wedding. Amazing would be an understatement! I can hardly put into words the sheer amount of gratitude and respect I have for this business. They made my wedding day extra special for so many reasons but the number 1 reason is Jaclyn and Tracy are just a joy to work with. I am from a very small town in upstate NY with limited options in terms of the beauty department. Jaclyn confirmed within MINUTES of my email that they were available and had pricing and options all cleanly laid out. Immediately, as soon as I submitted a deposit less than an hour later, I was so relaxed because I knew regardless of anything, my hair and make up would be on point. They captured my old Hollywood glam look I was going for perfectly and still made me look like myself, yet enhanced.

My admiration and respect for Jaclyn and Tracy are endless, but if I had to sum this business up in a nutshell, it's like being treated like family and getting ready with your very best friends. Jaclyn and Tracy have a wonderful bond and are so in sync, there's zero stress the morning of the wedding which can be VERY stressful as we all know, and they make it just so enjoyable. We all sat around the morning of the wedding just talking and laughing and the morning flew by in a great way. I will never forget how special the morning of my wedding was thanks to these ladies. I contacted the owner, Jaclyn, about four months before my wedding (6/9/18) for hair and makeup for myself and 7 bridesmaids/family members. She answered my many questions by email almost instantly. Jaclyn set up my hair trial with Danielle and makeup trial with Lexi in April. They came to my apartment and showed me several different looks since I was unsure of what I wanted. All of the looks they came up with were very natural, but polished.

The morning of my wedding Danielle and Lexi arrived at our hotel early and got to work right away. All 7 of my bridesmaids/family members were very happy with the results, many of whom almost never do their own hair and makeup and were hesitant to have someone else do it for them. Everyone looked natural and elegant.

If you are looking for a hard working, talented, super chill glam squad.. then Jackie and Tracy are your girls! I ended up hiring them for my destination wedding 2 days before I left for Puerto Rico. My original makeup/hair person fell through and they were willing to drop everything and fly to PR for me and my girls.
They worked so hard even when the power went out.. they packed up and moved locations twice just to make us pretty! Everyone one looked GORGEOUS and I’ve never felt so pretty in my life! They did touch ups the whole night..and did a hair change/ lip change for me for reception time! I can’t say enough GREAT things about them. Jaclyn was absolutely wonderful to work with. I live out of town and she was so quick to respond and accommodate a makeup trial for the short time I would be in town prior to the wedding. She is so organized it was wonderful to have a time table for when each person will be getting their hair and make up done. I love spreadsheets and this put me at such peace to have one in hand. Last minute I asked for my sister in laws hair and make up to be done, she and Tracy readily agreed to the last minute addition. She and Tracy are wonderful to spend the day with talking and joking they helped to keep the mood light and smiles going. Everyone's hair and makeup lasted until the next day. I used Adelyn's Canvas for my wedding in September 2017. I had Lexi as my makeup artist and she was AMAZING. Lexi and her team of one other makeup artist arrived on site early and were all set up in the bridal suite as our large party began strolling in. My bridal party was myself, 9 bridesmaids, along with my mother all getting their makeup done. We all got airbrushing and even with the huge bridal party everyone's makeup was picture perfect all through the night. Lexi was professional and listened to each of my girls likes and dislikes when it came to make up. All of my girls not only felt and looked GORGEOUS, but even my friends who don't wear much makeup day to day felt comfortable and proud of their glammed up face. After seeing how great everyone looked, my sister in law asked if there was anyway she could get her makeup done by Lexi as well. Lexi happily agreed even though she had been working on us all day. She was extremely organized and had her time schedule down to a science for each girl to ensure plenty of time for bridal makeup before our first look. I cannot recommend this company more. Especially Lexi, who is calm and focused really helping to settle your pre-wedding jitters.

I am a very indecisive person and have a lot of difficulty making decisions or knowing what makeup/hair style would look good on me as a bride. I reached out to ahern to set up a trial and heard back from them immediately. My number 1 concern with my makeup and hair artists is that I wanted it to be a comfortable and enjoyable experience and I wanted them to want to make me happy. Ahern went above and beyond my expectations. They came to my home for a trial which was a lot easier than traveling to them. They listened to my vision as what I wanted and also gave recommendations as to what they feel would look good on me. They also did different looks for hair and makeup which was awesome because it gave me a better idea to see what I like/dislike. My bridesmaids looked beautiful and were so happy from the moment they started working on them. Michele was always available for questions leading up to the wedding. She encouraged me to send her pictures of looks that I liked. I felt like we instantly became friends. The hair stylist was
really up to date with the latest trends and gave me that “trying but not trying” soft look that I was aiming towards. They are patient and perfectionists. They took their time to make sure everything was perfect! After my hair and makeup was complete, I felt awesome and beautiful and was less nervous about the day. The team truly helped make my wedding day that much more special...and also helped calm me while getting ready. Down to earth, amazing talented girls! Every bride should have such an experience!!

Jaclyn was super easy to work with and her work is amazing. She has great positive energy and is also very professional. Leading up to the big day she was flexible as well. On the big day, we had a large group with 13 people getting their make-up done and Jaclyn and her assistant did an incredible job on everyone. It was perfect! All of my bridesmaids agreed this was the best wedding make-up experience they've had. Overall I am so thrilled with how everything turned out!

We used Adelyns Canvas for our wedding this past month and everything was perfect! Michele did an amazing job with our hair - it was super easy to decide on a hairstyle and come the day, my look stayed put despite a rather vigorous first dance ;)
Lexi was on makeup, and everyone looked gorgeous. She also covered up a tattoo with ease, and it was still basically invisible at the end of the evening with minimal transfer to my gown.
Both ladies were professional, punctual, and really listened to our wants and needs regarding the looks we wanted to achieve.

Devon did an absolutely incredible job on my makeup for my wedding day! She was professional and friendly and was able to capture the look I wanted so beautifully. She was able to cover any flaws and blemishes and made my skin look flawless, as well as the gorgeous eye makeup and helping me choose a lipstick color that matched the rest of the look. Because of her I felt as if I looked like a Disney princess and helped me shine on my wedding day. Highly recommended!

Jaclyn is the BEST. Not only is her makeup gorgeous, she has such a fun, outgoing personality that made getting ready with all my bridesmaids even more fun. She went above and beyond on our wedding day. After realizing that my heels weren't going to pan out for a first look on the beach, Jaclyn LITERALLY took the shoes off of her feet to give to me so that I wouldn't ruin my expensive wedding shoes. I had Tracy and Jaclyn do hair and makeup for my wedding at the fox hollow on 7/16/17. They were talented, tasteful, and detail oriented. They listened to each of the members of my bridal party to give them a sophisticated look that represented their individual style. They were flexible, and were available for communication every step of the way. They were down to earth, and did extra little things whenever possible to make the experience enjoyable without nickeling an diming for every little thing (few curls for the flower girl, testing out different lash styles, etc). They even came to my house for the trials and came back again to cut my hair before the wedding. I look forward to using them again in the future for either new hair styles or just makeup for other special occasions.

Jaclyn is the most amazing person in the world!! I credit her with making my wedding a success! Not only did she do incredible make-up for me and all my girls but she was a true lifesaver! When I realized I forgot my veil right before I was to walk down the aisle, before I even realized it she was in the car and on the way back to the hotel to get it for me. She saved the day! She knew exactly what to do and guided me through the day (without a wedding planner or good bridal assistant, this was gold!). She bought me water, steamed my dress, and helped bustle me during cocktail hour. My makeup looked beautiful and natural and my eyelashes were on point. She' so talented and effortless at what she does. And she's quick! I would give her 6 stars if I could! Love you girl!

Michele was recommended to me by cousin who used her services for her wedding. She and her assistant did such an amazing job! She was able to take our hair ideas and pinterest boards and make them into reality! All of my bridesmaids loved their hair, and they especially loved that their hair survived the rain!

I knew I wanted an up-do, and while I had some ideas I just let Michele work her magic. My hair looked amazing, and I received many compliments on it! Plus, the week before the wedding I decided I wanted a clip for my hair, and I asked Michele where I could get one. She told me not to worry, and brought me twenty options to choose from. She made sure I didn't have to stress.

The other great thing about her, besides her excellent hair skills, is the fact that since the day I booked her, she reached out to me at least once a month to make sure I was okay, and I was not stressing out to much. She really care for her brides, and I would recommend her to anyone!

I was referred to Adelyns canvas by a friend. Michelle was extremely flexible and professional. She came to my bridesmaid's house for my trial, was patient and knowledgeable. On the weeks leading up to my wedding she checked in on me, answered all my questions and did all the thinking and planning for me- which was super helpful Bc I was overwhelmed. She arrived to my hotel early, finished all the girls early, and did a great job! My make up looks amazing in all of the pictures, thank you Michelle!!!!!

Michele was an incredible makeup artist for my wedding last month! My makeup lasted the entire day, which included spending a few hours outside in the heat and humidity followed by partying it up on the dance floor. For my makeup trial, Michele was patient when working with me on deciding the perfect look. She is knowledgeable about products, listened to my ideas and gave honest advice on the look that worked best for me. My bridesmaids also received many compliments on their makeup, which Michele did as well. Thank you again, Michele, for making the day even more wonderful!

I had the very fortunate experience of working with Jaclyn on my wedding day. Once I found Jaclyn's website, AdelynsCanvas, and saw her work, I knew I had to have her do me and my bridesmaids' makeup. I talked to Jaclyn a lot during my trial. I could tell that she was a hard worker and had a lot of passion for the field. Not only is Jacklyn and her team extremely talented and professional, she is also personable. I booked Jaclyn after finding her on wedding wire. While we were having our wedding on Long Island we live in the city and the first thing that I loved about Jaclyn was that she came to my apartment to do the trial. She quickly got back to me that she had a make-up artist available for my date as well (Michele from AhernBeauty). We had a blast at the Trial, both Jaclyn and Michele listened to everything that i wanted and were flexible to change things up as we were working. I already felt like i was with friends and wrote up contracts with them on the spot! Throughout the process both Michele and Jaclyn reached out to me just to check in and say hi. It made ALL the difference and truly made me feel like they were a part of our wedding already. On the day of the wedding, Jaclyn and Michele arrived promptly and ready to go (with an assistant for makeup as well). My husband and I had opted to get ready together and we also had friends and family popping into our suite to have bagels and be a part of the morning festivities and Michele and Jaclyn set up shop and worked around it all. They listened and moved quickly while doing hair for myself and 4 others including my mother in law (PLUS even jumped in to fix my husband's hair and even his eyebrows!). I opted for airbrush for me only and everyone had lashes. When it came to hair, Michele listened and even offered up jeweled comb for purchase to add a little extra sparkle to my hair (I didn't have a veil and wasn't planning on an accessory but it was perfect, she thought of everything!). We started at 10am and returned to the hotel at almost midnight and everyone still looked flawless! Thank you Jaclyn and Michele for not only great hair and makeup but also for a super fun time while getting ready to set the stage for our entire day.

Jaclyn and Michelle are amazing! I had a large and picky bridal party and they made everyone look stunning in a timely manner. Jaclyn not only made me look amazing but she truly helped me stay calm throughout the entire day. It was a little cold and rainy on my wedding day and she even brought me a sweater so I wouldn't freeze between pictures. I also had them stay to do touch ups which is absolutely worth it. You are making a mistake if you book with anyone else!

Michele and Devon helped make my wedding day fabulous! I had 9 bridesmaids plus my mom and mother in law who all were getting makeup and hair done. Michele did hair and Devon did makeup. They brought helpers and assistants since there were so many of us!! I did a trial with each of them beforehand and I loved it!! They are so sweet and really made me look and feel so beautiful. I have nothing but positive things to say about them!! Definitely recommend to any bride!

I was recommended Adelyn's Canvas through a co-worker who used them for her wedding and all of her friends used them for their weddings too. I had Devon do my make-up and Tracy do my hair and I really could not have been more pleased. I am truly NOT a make-up person and I was really worried that I wasn't going to look like myself. Devon listened to all of my concerns, was super supportive and attentive to all my suggestions and the result was incredible! I just got my pictures back from my photographer and I’m stunned by how I looked in every picture. She is such a professional and she knows how to accentuate all your best features. Now I just can’t wait until the day I can afford to have her come to my house every morning to do my make-up!
Tracy was like a hair ninja. I could not believe how quickly she finished my girls and how different, beautiful and unique they all looked. She is a true artist and when she finished my hair and I looked in the mirror, I had to stop myself from breaking down from relief and happiness. There is no question that these two are the best of the best and I will emphatically recommend them to anyone and everyone!
