Acquaviva was quite literally the most magical place to have our wedding. They were the first venue we saw and from the moment we walked in we knew that nothing would top it. The staff were all extremely kind and welcoming to us throughout our planning process and truly helped our dreams become reality. The day of our wedding was everything we could’ve asked for and more, from the food to the wine and to the impeccable service at the bridal house and bartenders, we were extremely well taken care of. All of our guests raved about what a beautiful wedding it was and we agree- couldn’t highly recommend Acquaviva more to any couple wishing for a piece of Italy on the wedding day!Acquaviva Winery's reply:

The Best Day at Acquaviva Winery
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of having our dream wedding at Acquaviva Winery, and we could not be happier with the entire experience. From the moment we set foot on the property, we were enchanted by the venue's beauty and the professionalism of the staff.
The outdoor ceremony in the vineyard was undoubtedly the highlight of our wedding. The lush green vineyard rows created a natural and breathtaking backdrop for our vows, enhancing the romantic atmosphere. The serene sounds of the breeze rustling through the vines made it an unforgettable setting that left a lasting impression on our guests and provided beautiful photographs to cherish.
The venue aesthetics for the reception includes stunning interior design, with its exquisite paintwork and high ceilings. Another remarkable aspect of the reception hall was its spacious layout. We had approximately 200 guests in attendance, and there was more than enough room to comfortably accommodate everyone. The bar area was well-designed and well-stocked, making it a popular spot for our guests to mingle and enjoy their favorite beverages. The dance floor was generously sized, allowing for plenty of space for our guests to dance the night away.
Another highlight would be the food at Acquaviva Winery was nothing short of extraordinary. The menu was diverse and exquisitely prepared, with both hors d'oeuvres and the main course receiving rave reviews from our guests. The wine selection was top-notch, perfectly complementing the meal. The culinary expertise on display was truly remarkable.
And the most special part of the experience was working with Beata and the events team. Throughout the planning process, Beata and the events team at Acquaviva Winery were a joy to work with. Their attention to detail and prompt communication made the planning process smooth and stress-free. Beata was always available to answer our questions, provide guidance, and offer creative suggestions. She truly understood our vision and worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was executed flawlessly.
In conclusion, Acquaviva Winery is a gem of a wedding venue, offering a delightful combination of delectable cuisine, stunning aesthetics, breathtaking vineyard views, and a dedicated team. Our wedding day was everything we had ever dreamed of, thanks to Acquaviva. This venue has incredible authentic Italian food. It is also a unique venue with a gorgeous vineyard, apple orchard, a pool house to rent to get ready in and a guest house to rent on the property with 6 bedrooms so bride and groom and family or bridal party can stay after the wedding. The staff are all super professional and helpful, especially the on site coordinator Beata. Picture Perfect Wedding Day
Acquaviva is simply the best! Beata is wonderful to work with. We wanted our wedding to be romantic and intimate, and Acquaviva was the perfect venue to make that happen. The food was incredible, our guests are still commenting on how great the food was. Acquaviva was an easy 5 star for us. They have the most beautiful venue. As a former bride, I know how important/stressful it can be going for an outdoor venue. This venue has a unbelievably beautiful backup plan and allow you to decide as close to last minute as possible. Luckily the weather was perfect but the piece of mind means everything leading up to the big day.
We are still getting raving reviews of their food from our guests weeks after the wedding. The fillet and whitefish are to die for! They include so much in their initial minimum (open bar, appetizers, wine during dinner, salad, pasta, main dishes, dessert bar) but also have awesome upgrades available! Some that we utilized that I think were so worth it was:
-extended cocktail hour (more time for pictures too!)
-upgraded bar options
-upgraded dessert bar
-wine bar at vineyard ceremony
-champagne toast
-meal choice for guests
-late night pizza
One of the things I love best is that my husband and I can come back to eat at our reception venue for years to come to celebrate our marriage and the most amazing day/night we had there.
All of this and to top it off their staff was amazing! Family owned and it shows in the best way. Easy going, accommodating, and flexible. A million thank yous to them for making our day so perfect for us.Acquaviva Winery's reply:

Best Day Ever!
We had our “best day ever” at Acquaviva and it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I had 30+ people say it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The venue and grounds are beautiful, the food is impeccable, the service was great! One awesome add on is the guest house on the property. My bridesmaids slept there with me the night before and the bridal party slept there after the wedding. It was the perfect place to get ready on the day of.
Through out the process, Acquaviva staff communicated promptly with me, we had the most fun tasting, and we met with one of the owners for our final details meeting. When our wedding coordinator (outside vendor) was late, Acquaviva staff stepped in to start setting up our centerpieces. At the end of the night, we hadn’t gotten any dessert and the staff packaged up 2 cannolis for the groom & I to go. It was above and beyond (and I have high expectations!) I can’t recommend Acquaviva enough. -

Beautiful December wedding
I was father of the groom and I could not have been happier with the professionalism of Suzanne, the wedding coordinator, at Acquaviva Winery. Suzanne took us through everything, including the tasting menu, the meal and wine choices, and the hors d'oeuvre choices. Their recommender vendors are a wise choice because they are professional and are familiar with the layout. We were not disappointed one bit. Thank you so much Suzanne. -

Everyone always tells you that if you're planning an event, it's all about the food, the drinks, and a good time! Hands down, Acquaviva Winery has it all for a wedding.
Our wedding was booked in February 2019 for August 2020. The booking process was easy - their Events Manager, Suzanne, was so easy to work with, responded within 24 hours generally, and always made sure to relay every detail we would need to know. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding to May 2021. With all of the emotions and frustrations we were experiencing, how Acquaviva handled the reschedule process reassured us that we made the right decision booking with them. Suzanne went above and beyond to make sure we got the best reschedule date that would work for us and reassured us that our big day would be just the same as if it hadn't been rescheduled.
AND IT WAS! Our guests and family still rave about how amazing our reception was. The food was AMAZING - it was a delicious, true Italian cuisine with huge dinner size portions (none of that "smaller portions" you sometimes get at event halls). The set up of the restaurant is a bit weird but we chose the right DJ to make sure sound got across the whole venue (Spin N Play - ask for Ron). The bartenders made sure to keep our specialty drink just how we asked for it. And the coordinators and servers/head servers did everything to help set up, take down, and make our guests comfortable.
While Acquaviva might be a bit off the beaten path, the distance and time it took to get there was well worth our amazing experience having our wedding day there. We will continue to go there for dinners and to buy our favorite wines. -

I would rec this venue a million times over. Suzanne is the coordinator and always extremely responsive and helpful. I got so many compliments!! The food is amazing, it comes right from the kitchen. I can't explain how many people raved about the Filet and Salmon! The vineyard is incredible to have the ceremony in. And to top it all off, the price is not going to break the bank! Very reasonable, kind of in the middle of the price spectrum. 100% rec this place! You will love it and so will your guests! -

Tracy and I had our wedding at Acquaviva Winery on Memorial Day weekend, 2021. The venue is perfect, the weather was amazing and the ceremony in the Vineyard is something truly unique. We also rented the guest house for out family to stay in before/after the event.
The reception hall is beautiful from the entryway, to the barrel room and it was all immaculately decorated. Suzanne Read and her crew did an incredible job of preparing and setting every table. Throughout the meal and the entire day, Suzanne was like a battlefield general making sure every last thing including special requests was handled flawlessly. As dinner was served she personally inspected every plate to ensure it was correct as her team was setting it out.
We received compliments all day long, all evening and for weeks afternoon Acquaviva Winery. If you want a beautiful venue to get married in, incredible food, amazing deserts, and of course spectacular wine, do not hesitate for a moment to check out Acquaviva. It is truly unique. -

Winery Wedding
The food, service, wine, and scenery is amazing. Suzanne and her team are wonderful to work with. I was the type of bride that had many questions and would email frequently. Suzanne always responded in a timely matter and was extremely organized. Suzanne and her team make sure the big day runs smoothly and help out any way they can. They offer everything you need for your big day. I highly recommend renting out the house on site for getting ready and staying over the night. Her preferred vendor list (just suggested not mandatory) was great, also. I have had so many complement on the food, service, and wine from my guest. My guests and I had a blast. I just received some of my photos, and my pictures look phenomenal because of the scenery (picture attached is from a guest’s cellphone). If your looking for a winery wedding this is the place! -

Acquaviva is a dream come true. This venue has been extremely accommodating though out the entire wedding process. When we first visited the site back in 2019 Suzanne left an everlasting positive impression on us. The only reason we did not select the venue at that time was distance. We were looking for a venue closer to our guests so they would not have to travel far. After rescheduling our wedding several times due to Covid we decided to give Suzanne a call to see if we could be accommodated. Covid -19 became our events blessing in disguise as our wedding was more than we could have ever wish or imagined.
Suzanne helped us plan our entire wedding in just a couple of months. During the cocktail hour we were brought appetizers to the awesome bridal room, as we took photos and prepared to line up for announcements.
Every staff member bent over backwards for us with organized, professional and impeccable service.
Our guests, have been raving about the food and wine. This is not an exaggeration, no overstatements here. In our opinion, you have not lived until you try their food. Several of our family members told us they were purchasing the wine and coming back for dinner on their own.
It’s been several weeks and I am still thinking about the mouth watering dishes, and the savory nocchi that we are dying to have the vodka sauce recipe for. The pastries were so so so good. The late night brick oven pizza is the best pizza I have had by far.
Even a few of the guests that arrived late were provided top notch service . We absolutely felt like royalty. Aquaviva proved to be a benchmark for service on our wedding day.
Beautiful design and care has been placed into every detail of this business. Even the design of the entry door has so much detail and art to it. The grounds are breathtaking. The guest house looking over the winery that we spent the night at was immaculate and gorgeous.
The winery is flexible, clean and service oriented. You will not go wrong choosing this winery to host your special day. Our guests are as impressed and happy as we are. We cannot thank Acquaviva Winery enough for making our day so special and amazing, which we will remember and cherish forever.

Our wedding ceremony and reception was held at Acquaviva Winery. The ceremony was held in the vineyard. The wedding went perfectly as planned. The weather was great! All our venders worked well together to create the best wedding day.
Working with Suzanne and Brianna was wonderful and easy. They did an amazing job at helping us plan the day and making sure it went smoothly.
We had rented out the guest house the night of the wedding. The groom, the grooms men and grooms family were able to hang out, have lunch and great ready there. The house worked great for them! The groom and his grooms men went down to the market to have wine, they had great service in the market from Julie!
The service during the reception was fantastic. I (the bride) did not realize on of our guest had a dietary restriction. The guest had mentioned to Brianna during dinner and Brianna came back with a different meal for our guest. Our guest was very happy with the service provided.
All of our guest raved about the service and the food!! They loved that during dinner the staff would bring more bottles of wine to the table when the bottle at their table was empty! The food was great! It is made to order and delicious.
Also, like any wedding, a lot of drinks were spilled on the dance floor. The staff was very attentive and within in seconds they were there to mop it up! This allowed our guest to continue dancing all night long.
We had left a lot of the stuff at the winery to pick up the next day. When we went in to grab it Vito was their to greet us. He helped us with gather all of our stuff. We could not thank him enough. He was the best bartender the night of the wedding!! He always provides the best service.
We had spent almost 2 years planning our wedding with Acquaviva. Suzanne, Brianna, Vito, Joe, Paul, Julie, and the rest of the Acquaviva staff have become like family! We love to go back for lunch or dinner. Plus we are wine club members so it gives us an excuse to go more often. =Acquaviva Winery's reply:

Amazing!
Acquaviva was the most amazing wedding venue we could have asked for. From the beautiful views of getting married in a vineyard, to the comfort of working with such a great coordinator (Suzanne), we couldn't have asked for a better experience!
First off, the venue is absolutely beautiful. The ceremony overlooked the vineyard and the entire property was gorgeous. The layout of the venue was perfect. We had 185 guests, it was spacious enough to where nobody felt crammed but the whole setting still felt intimate. The food was also FANTASTIC! All of our guests have continued to rave about how delicious it was for weeks after the wedding!
The best part about Acquaviva was working with Suzanne, the events coordinator. She was so incredibly helpful, responsive and comforting. During the stressful time that is wedding planning, Suzanne answered all of our questions very quickly, met with us about a million extra times and put us at ease with the whole planning process!Acquaviva Winery's reply:

We had our wedding here in September and it was beyond any dream come true! Suzanne, Brianna and Joe were amazing to work with. We fell in love with the place the first time we walked into the restaurant and never looked back to try to find something else to beat it as a venue. Suzanne did such an amazing work to make our vision come true, she was there since day one. They all worked great with the other vendors and made sure that everything was set to go for the big day. When our day finally came, it was beyond perfection. If there was a hiccup along the way, we didn't know about it, and in all honesty, we were too busy having fun and taking in the moment to even care about those hiccups! We had rented the pool house from 9am till the ceremony and it was such an amazing place to get ready in. We had also rented the guest house next to the restaurant for the night before and the night of the wedding and it was amazing as well! Our children and parents had plenty of room and it was such a cozy and comfortable place to be before and after the wedding.
The night of the wedding, we had asked the staff to save the flowers for us so we can take them to a nursing home in the early morning and they did. It was very sweet of them to do.
We always thrive on how businesses offer customer service and Acquaviva did amazing at setting that bar high. Joe, just topped it off with the icing and the cherry on top......you see my car (the bride) had been used by 2 of her daughters and none of them bothered to check the fuel gage. So when Joe told me to move the car to the lower level to get the flowers in my car, I told him that I was embarrassed but I needed the closest gas station, that my car was driving on fumes. He grabbed his phone, called one of his employees and had him bring the 5 gallon gas tank to fill up my car enough to make it to a gas station. That is not only having customer service skills but having a kind heart!
Overall, we can't say enough about this place and are in love with the staff, the restaurant and their wine. We look forward to becoming their wine members and are seeking another reason to hold a party here once again. Thank you again for such an amazing, beautiful, dream come true wedding! -
Jess Sent on 07/19/2018I originally went to Aquaviva one night for a dinner with my now Husband, and we absolutely loved the venue. We joked about getting married their "one day" and little did I know that I really would! This venue is not only unique but it is hand crafted, with gorgeous interiors, a breath taking vineyard and a friendly staff that is over the moon helpful and kind.
I first worked with Suzanne who helped us get the details arranged. Suzanne is one of the sweetest women I've ever worked with. She is kind and patient and has great attention to detail. She ensured me that everything was going to be perfect, and it was. It was better than perfect. Our guests raved about the food, the drinks the service, and how uniquely beautiful the venue was. The vineyard ceremony really just makes the whole day even more special.
The day of my wedding Kippy was our go to girl. She was so organized and patient, also super detailed and made me smile. The day was truly the best of my life, as it should be. And this venue has A LOT to do with how our wedding day went. If you are on the fence about making the trip out the Maple Park, it is so WORTH IT! Thank you to the entire Aquaviva family & staff <3 -

Please ask for Suzanne R. when planning! She helped us from the first time we looked at the winery, until the evening of the wedding. It is truly a unique venue if you are looking for a classy place to hold your ceremony. They opted to have the ceremony indoors, under the gorgeous atrium, due to weather concerns. But, you may also choose the vineyards, or the patio for your ceremony. We had prime rib and chicken saltimboca for our guests, and it was delicious! We would recommend this in a heartbeat!!

It was such a pleasure working with the event coordinator, Suzanne. She was prompt when returning emails, stayed on top of due-dates for menu selections, ceremony and reception details, etc. She would even respond to my silly questions about napkin colors at 10:00PM! She made what could be an overwhelming process, easy, manageable and enjoyable.
When it came to the day of the wedding, ALL of the staff was phenomenal. Food was amazing, drinks were perfect, and every staff member was friendly and inviting. They all worked so well together and the drinks and courses were delivered to the guests promptly and food was hot. The venue itself is breathtaking. We were lucky enough to have engagement photos taken on the vineyard, as we got married in December so we wouldn't have been able to use it then due to weather. The food was really good and the vineyard set up for the ceremony was beautiful. I loved how they had the cocktail hour inside and out and of course everyone loved the wine! The service was impeccable and I had a server solely check on my every need... he even showed up behind me and brought me a tide pen when I spilled some pasta sauce on my dress without me asking! Overall best day of my life!

All the staff, including Suzanne, Joe, and Kippy, were so helpful, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. They definitely took a lot of stress out of our planning and brought our vision for our special day to life. On top of that, the food was fantastic and being able to use the bed and breakfast made getting ready comfortable and easy. And a special shout out to their entire service staff, they were all so attentive it seemed there was always someone to take care of any want/need that arose!

We looked at a lot of venues... What we loved about Acquaviva is how both the ceremony and reception space are so gorgeous we did not feel like we really even needed to decorate. We were able to use the elegance of the venue to make the personal touches we wished to use like their own empty wine bottles with labels still on and the wine barrels. Suzanne and her staff were great to work with and responded quickly to my hundreds of questions. They really made planning our special day really easy. The owners and their family work there and made a point to get to know us too! There are so many unique locations to take pictures onsite too we could not get all the ones we wanted with the amount of time.
In regard to price, like I said we looked at a lot of venues, Acquaviva caterers every wedding so it was great to not have to budget the open bar and food. Their prices are very open we could guess when comparing to our other vendor locations what the price would be in the long run, no surprises when the final bill came!!
We loved our whole day and got compliments on how amazing our venue was.Acquaviva Winery's reply:

Words cannot describe how delicious the Italian food was!!!! The wait staff and VITO were AMAZING and ABSOLUTELY ACCOMMODATING!! We did have a few mishaps with the event coordinator who was unable to accommodate our centerpiececs and made us come down the day before our wedding to the venue (1.5 hours away) to assemble them. That did not make me a happy bride, but with our family's help- we prevailed!!! The venue is BEAUTIFUL; ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! -
