Loved this place was going to choose it as my venue, but wasn’t a fan of the indoor space to use in case it rained it was little small. Though gorgeous venue, wasn’t for me in case we had to move it indoors. The tent was a great idea, but cost a lot extra and didn’t want to get a tent and the weather be amazing and not use it. Other than that it’s beautiful! And the event coordinator is a doll!!! If you want a beach wedding without being on the sand this is your place! GORGEOUS! -

User1195048 Sent on 06/10/2013This is a gorgeous, amazing place to get married! We had a destination wedding here, and chose Acqualina because it is such a beautiful venue and the oceanfront location was exactly what we were looking for.
The oceanfront lawn is what truly makes this a special venue, because it is such a stunning setting, and you can have the ceremony and cocktail hour oceanfront without being in the sand.
Another huge plus is that they only hold one wedding at a time, so there is no wedding factory vibe and you have the most flexibility in terms of choosing different locations to have your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. And, the entire wonderful catering staff will be completely dedicated to your wedding.
Unfortunately, it rained right before our ceremony so we had to use the backup location. The only drawback is that the backup location is a small and somewhat mundane-looking room, so hope for good weather! We didn’t make the call on moving inside until rather late, and as far as I could tell, they did a great job switching everything. The Mediterranean Ballroom where we had our reception has a terrace overlooking the pool and beach, so once it cleared up our guests were able to step outside and admire the setting.
The catering manager Kerry is so nice, accommodating, responsive, and professional. Dealing with someone who was such a pleasure to work with makes a big difference and makes the planning process fun and exciting instead of stressful.
Unlike many weddings I’ve been to, the food was delicious and our guests raved about it.
Acqualina isn’t a cheap venue, but it’s not as extravagant as you might think for a five diamond resort. In my opinion, the venue is one of the most worthwhile expenses when it comes to your wedding because it sets the stage for everything else.
I hope other brides choose Acqualina and have an amazing wedding experience!
