Great Beverage Choice for Wedding
We worked with Ace Beverage to identify and deliver alcohol for our wedding event. Everyone there was really easy to work with. They gave us a great starter set of alcohol options, and we could make adjustments easily. I really appreciated that we paid half of the cost upfront and then paid for only the alcohol that we finished and had to keep after the wedding. They delivered everything without any issues and were very professional. I'm so glad we went with Ace Beverage! -

Reliable and Excellent for Weddings
Ace Beverage made the alcohol and mixer ordering process easy and stress-free for our wedding. They were professional, responsive, and helped us figure out exactly what we needed- even the more niche requests. Delivery and pickup were smooth, everything arrived as promised — and they let us keep any leftovers. Now we have enough booze to last for years! Highly recommend for any event. -

Make your lives easier and hire them
We loved working with Ace to provide the alcohol for our event. Mary took our budget and created two custom proposals for us, based on what we wanted. We ended up going with two signature drinks, beer and wine (the non alcoholic beverages were provided by our caterer). Ace takes the guesswork out of it: They provide the amount needed for your number of guests, which is very helpful. They then deliver everything at a specified time and pick up whatever isn't used at the end of the night, so you are ultimately only paying for what is used and a delivery fee. We loved not having to worry about this -- we've been to weddings where there's a ton leftover after the bride and groom purchased the alcohol themselves -- and will use their services again if we host a big event! -

HIGHLY RECOMMEND using ACE for your Wedding Beverage Needs
ACE was amazing and so great in servicing all of our wedding needs! From our initial outreach to the final pick up, the ACE team was attentive and responsive and helped make our wedding a huge hit! They helped provide a detailed estimate, coordinated with our venue on delivery and provided timely pickup the night of our wedding. I loved that they help deliver, pickup and the best part is that they will collect any of the closed/unused bottles at the end and adjust your invoice. HIGHLY RECOMMEND using ACE and a special shout out to Alina and Will for helping us with everything! -

Great alcohol vendor!
Super easy process for purchasing alcohol for weddings. Ace Beverage sent us a brief questionnaire and answered all of our questions promptly and clearly. On the day of, they timely delivered the alcohol to the venue and picked up the left over unopened and unchilled bottles the day after with no problems. We got back a good chunk of money with their take back program! -

SUPER easy and great variety!
ACE provided drinks for our wedding. It was absolutely fabulous! Their business model is brilliant. It was super easy and smooth for ACE to drop off the alcohol to our venue and pick up unused bottles after. (The easiest part of our wedding planning, in fact!) We had plenty of drinks for guests, didn't run out of anything, and an easy and smooth champagne toast. Drinks were dropped off early and pickup was thorough and smooth. Guests loved our variety of drinks and everyone had a lot of options they loved. Wedding planning is complicated but ordering drinks with ACE was super easy and such a big win in the planning process! Thank you all so much for all of your help! -

Recommend for wedding reception
We used Ace based on the recommendation of our amazing caterer (Corcoran).
We interviewed 3 beverage companies and Ace was hands down the best.
Easy to communicate our wishes (husband wanted a very specific Rye and we had a fun welcome drink), customize the menu (mostly local beer) according to our taste and budget, and the best- they pick up after the event!
Ace has worked a lot of events at Capitol View with our caterer- they just knew what to do. Can’t stress how important it was that our vendor team clicked. And they did!

Big savings: time, money, stress!
We used Ace Beverage for the alcohol at our wedding and the process went very smoothly. They are pros! Using Ace saved us a ton of time and money. I strongly recommend using Ace instead of trying to handle the alcohol yourself. Since they buy back anything unopened/unchilled, you don't have to worry about buying the right amount. -

Easiest open bar service!
Ace beverage was a recommendation to us from our wedding venue, Toolbox, and we are so glad that we used them for our open bar! This was literally the easiest thing to book because they were familiar with our space and have previously worked with our caterer, Spilled Milk, so we really didn't have to plan to much with them to get our open bar set up. The best part about their service -- they will only charge you for the opened bottles and the ones that have been chilled, while everything else will be picked up and returned to them. We overestimated the amount of alcohol we needed for our open bar, but it ended up being fine because a good amount was returned.
Overall, great service and so easy to coordinate! -

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding
Ace Beverage was recommended to us by a vendor. We were planning on purchasing our own alcohol, but gosh we are so glad we went with them. The greatest thing about them is they accept unopened alcohol after the wedding, so it was such a peace of mind for us going into the wedding knowing that we can buy enough alcohol for our guests without any concerns about having leftovers. They also provided really good suggestions (our guests loved our selections!) and delivered all of our alcohol to the venue beforehand for a very reasonable price. They are definitely the way to go for alcohol for weddings. They know what they are doing and are so easy to work with. I highly recommend them! -

Ace did our alcohol and it was completely hassle-free - emailed them with a headcount, suggested a few refinements and additions, put down a deposit, and paid for what got used night of. They coordinated with our planner/caterer to completely handle pick up and dropoff and we didn't even have to think about it day-of. Strongly recommend doing this and leaving it to the professionals instead of giving yourself the work of a few Costco trips. -

DAR Constitution Hall Wedding
My wife and I chose Ace Beverage as our alcohol vendor for our wedding at DAR Constitution Hall and they were absolutely magnificent. Not only were they prompt and professional with reasonable prices but they also took back our unopened boxes of wine, beer, and liquor so we were not charged for them.
Truly 5/5 stars, would recommend to anyone in the area. -

FANTASTIC to work with, HIGHLY recommend!
ACE Beverage was fantastic to work with! On the recommendation of our wedding coordinator (Liz Shaeffer of Liz & Co Events), we reached out to ACE Beverage/Romain Cartoux about 2 months before our wedding. We considered purchasing our reception alcohol from Costco, but the thought of transporting it back/forth between Costco/apartment/venue seemed daunting and time consuming. We are SO GLAD we went with ACE Beverage! Romain was fantastic to work with! We provided Romain with our preferences, number of guests, and he proposed a beverage order (e.g. for X number of guests, Y bottles of gin..wine). We had the opportunity to review the list and make adjustments. On our wedding day, ACE Beverage dropped off the alcohol at our reception venue and picked up unopened alcohol at the end of the night (and issued refund of the buyback). Bonus: We love the red wine Romain selected and will likely buy a case! -

My husband and I used ACE for our wedding, and wow, we were impressed. Romain and the rest of the ACE team were so helpful in picking out the bar for our wedding, not to mention, incredibly responsive and easy to work with. They're clearly experts and made great recommendations for wine, champagne and beer! We also loved that they bought back what our guests didn't drink. Fantastic!
We used ACE Beverage for our wedding on the recommendation of our venue coordinator (Top of the Town). Apparently, the reason everyone chooses them is that they deliver everything to your venue and then come back to the venue the next day and pick up unopened bottles and credit your account. We worked with Romain. He was a great help with determining the quantities and types of alcohol we needed for the number and type of guests we had. They were willing to create any mood we wanted with the drinks, but we kept it pretty basic. The contract process was easy, Romain was responsive to our questions. We were surprised about how much we were credited, and we had a big drinking crowd! It was a nice surprise at the end of the wedding process when you feel that you keep spending more and more. It seemed like the bar moved smoothly, we had two bartenders, I don’t recall seeing a huge line or impatient guests. We highly recommend Romain and ACE Beverage.

Much less hassle than Costco!
Our venue had recommended Ace and all the caterers we chatted with also had worked with Ace, which was a good sign. They ask for about a month lead up time and have a helpful worksheet to figure out a good estimate. We ended up returning nearly half the alcohol and only ended up paying a bit more than our initial deposit. Highly recommend! -

Best Drinks Ever
Best Drinks Ever. Our caterer recommended Ace Beverage, and I’m so glad she did. The beverages, the service, the cocktails! They answered all our questions tailored the drinks menu to our every need. Made sure our signature cocktails were made perfectly. The bartenders were really professional and really attentive. Book these guys now before their schedule fills up. Ace Beverages was super easy to work with and had a ton of selection. We really wanted to and were able to keep all the options local-based! They were super affordable, especially compared to what some caterers charge for liquor/beer. We did open bar and never ran out. Amazing knowledge, super responsive, and made everything super convenient!
ACE Beverage, and specifically Romain Cartoux, was wonderful to work with on our recent April 2019 wedding. Romain was incredibly knowledgeable about wines, giving us perfect recommendations to complement our menus. He was also able to advise on choices and quantities for the entire beverage order to ensure a successful event based on our guest count and time of year. After the helpful and responsive planning process, ACE took care of the execution completely – dropping off the order to the venue directly, and then picking up all unopened bottles from the venue and automatically reimbursing our account. We highly recommend this professional and convenient service for anyone in the DC-area! -

Ace Beverage's service is phenomenal and made our lives so easy when working with them! Super AWESOME to work with!
ACE was exceptional to work with to provide alcohol for our wedding reception at Top of the Town. Prices were awesome and they had a great variety.
Romain was a great communicator. He provided a proposal right away, managed all of the logistics to bring the alcohol to our wedding site, and picked-up any unopened bottles. They issued the refund right away for anything that wasn't consumed.
We'd use ACE Beverage again as they were super easy to work with! Made our wedding day a breeze and uncomplicated! Couldn't ask for a better wedding vendor! -

The only way to order drinks for a wedding or party!
We're so glad we heard about Ace Beverage from a caterer. Fortunately most venues in DC allow outside alcohol and other vendors, but Ace makes everything so easy and foolproof. We went to the store to talk to them about wine choices at various price points and other options. On the day of the wedding, everything we ordered was delivered and set up with the caterers' staff, and then leftovers picked up at the end of the night. This was by far one of the best values of our wedding and I highly recommend for any wedding or party in the DC area. -

Ace was our beverage vendor for our wedding and they made supplying drinks for our guests super easy. Mary worked with us to get the right balance of local alcohol brands within our budget. Their estimates on drink count were more than spot on and they ended up taking back the bottles still in salable condition, which helped us reduce our costs. Lastly, they were very patient and flexible with us, helping us work through last minute additions of liquor and cocktails only a couple weeks out from the wedding. Ace was painless to work with, familiar with our venue, and needed no handholding to get our drinks on site and then removed for the clean up. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wide selection, ease of service, and reasonable prices. -

Ace Beverage provided all of the alcoholic beverages at our wedding reception (our caterer provided mixers and garnishes). We learned about Ace from friends who had used Ace for their reception and recommended them. The ordering process was very simple; we completed the questionnaire Ace provided, and Ace proposed beverages based on our preferences and headcount that we were happy with. (Our friends tell us that you can also head to the distributor and choose your own beverages if you like.) Our contact, Alina, was very professional and responsive, particularly when we asked to reduce our order when our final head count was in. Ace also picked up unopened cases after the reception and credited us for those on our final invoice, which we received about a week after the reception. It was a very smooth process and a reasonable price. We would absolutely use Ace again for an event. -

Thank you to Ace Beverage for providing such great service! They took so much of the stress out of my wedding planning experience. They were able to tell us exactly how much liquor we would need based on our headcount, delivered the bottles to the venue, retrieved them, and sent us a credit for what we didn't use very promptly. Alina was very easy to work with and the office manager, Will, sent us a kind message after we used their services. Their prices were fair and we received great customer service. I contacted ACE a week before the event. They were efficient and professional. They picked up the excess alcohol after the event and the bill was 1/2 my quote. We're very lucky to have their services in DC. I am grateful for what they were able to do for us. -

We loved working with ACE Beverages. We were referred to them by our venue (Toolbox Pilates and Art Studio). We requested various changes with our alcohol menu and Alina was the best. Extremely patient and kind. Working with them was seemless! A few days after the wedding we received a refund since there were bottles that were returned and our guest didn’t drink the total value of our down payment. ACE beverage was hands down one of the best choices we made when it came to our vendor team. Every other vendor said, "oh, you're going with ACE, you are all set." They were not kidding. Mary was terrific at getting us a quick proposal and worked with us for our wine, beer and liquor choices for our signature drinks. They dropped off the alcohol to the vendor the Friday of the wedding and came and picked up the un-used alcohol the day after the wedding. We literally did not have to even think about it. They refunded us for what was un-used and we spent literally a fraction of what we would have spent if we had gone with a venue where we could not bring in our own alcohol vendor. There is no other choice in the DC area. With everything else going on, you do not want to have to think about dealing with another vendor. ACE made is so insanely easy and we will always recommend them highly! Thank you! -

ACE was without a doubt one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We knew from the beginning we wanted to handle the booze on our own since most people (even the caterers themselves) told us that the mark up can be pretty steep and that alcohol and mixers were a good way to save. However, we were a bit overwhelmed with the prospect of having to map out every thing and make the rounds to various suppliers/stores to find all the things we wanted. Enter ACE. They were quick to respond to our request for a proposal and paid attention to every request we made. They were also happy to walk us through the process and make numerous changes to our proposal before finalizing. Every step of the way they helped us to cut costs and stay within our budget. On the day of, they dropped everything off pretty much the second we had access to the venue and picked everything up LATE that night for a very reasonable fee. In the end, we spent way under what they initially quoted us and saved probably close to a grand on what we expected to spend originally. And more importantly, they saved us a tremendous amount of effort and stress. 100% would recommend over and over and over again. -

Ace Beverage is a fantastic company to work with for a wedding. I'll admit to being a bit of a wine snob and had very particular ideas of what I wanted to offer my guests, while still not breaking the bank - and the Ace team was super helpful making recommendations to fit these parameters. They have well established relationships with an extensive list of local caterers and venues so even though you're buying 'direct' without the catering markup, you still don't really have to do any of the work - they coordinate directly with your other vendors for pickup/dropoff etc. The return policy is also totally clutch (they will take back anything unopened and un-iced). Thanks for your help making our wine-focused wedding such a success! -

I worked with Ace Beverage to provision all of our alcohol for the full bar at our wedding. Ace made everything very easy; they recommend the amount of alcohol and soft drinks we needed for our guests based on our preferences, delivered, and picked up the remaining alcohol at the end of the night. They sourced all of the international beers and liquor that we requested and were very responsive. Ace Beverage is a no-brainer if you're having an event that allows you to bring in alcohol. My fiance and I could not believe that this service existed in DC and were so happy to have found it because it took the burden off of us to figure out how much we needed at the bar and how we would get it there. The process is super simple: you email Ace, fill out a quick form, they send you a menu and quote, you update the menu as many times as you want until the week of the event, they DELIVER the drinks to your venue and PICK UP the remainder afterwards for a nominal delivery fee (seriously, it's insanely worth it). BEST OF ALL - you only pay for what you use! If we had arranged for liquor ourselves, or paid a catering company a per person rate for an open bar, we would have paid for A LOT MORE than what our party actually consumed. By going with Ace, we were able to order with some buffer, knowing that we'd only pay for the bottles we opened/chilled. Amazing service! -

Anyone supplying their own alcohol should use Ace Beverage. The costs for the alcohol were very reasonable. They had great selection and offered helpful suggestions. The drop off and pick up were a very reasonable fee ($10 drop off and $75 pick up). It gave us one less logistical thing to worry about. It's great to only have to pay for the alcohol that gets used - you don't have to worry about returning it after the event. -

ACE beverage was easily one of the best decisions we made at our wedding. One of the top priorities of our big day was to have awesome food and drinks + a wild dance party - ACE definitely made these dreams come true!!
First of all, Alina was very easy to work with. I told her our exact budget and she put together a combination of options based exactly on this budget and preferences. We went in to the actual store with my in-laws to grab a few bottles of wine to test out - my FIL is not one to mince words, so it is with the utmost respect to ACE bev that I say this: he was impressed by their knowledge and expertise. Alina offered us several selections (wine) based on the food we were serving and we took them home - my in-laws loved all of them. We submitted our final order to Alina and arranged for a drop-off and late-pick up at the venue (extra charge, but SO worth it!).
We ultimately ordered more than we had originally planned as ACE will take back anything that is unopened and unchilled. Apparently we throw one heck of a party though because when ACE came back later that evening for the pickup, we had nothing left!
One of the things I valued the most in working with ACE was their honesty. They did not try to upsell me or push me into adding things that I did not want. I so appreciated this as I navigated the planning of our big day, and this honesty and professionalism of all their staff is what ultimately made me feel comfortable to order more than we had originally planned for (thank goodness we did this!).
I cannot recommend ACE enough - I was originally planning to do all the alcohol ourselves/with family help because I thought it would be too expensive otherwise. I'm very happy we used ACE and can't believe I thought we could handle all these details on our own! -

Some wholesalers also will only refund you for full cases that are unopened, but ACE refunds by the unopened bottle, so that was great as well. Our caterer recommended ACE Beverage, and we chose them from three quotes we solicited. They were very easy to work with, very knowledgeable. They have a handy online form to fill out with the details of the event and what you are thinking for the bar. They made great recommendations for best value liquor, beer, and wine. Their initial quantities and budget seemed high, but their explanation was that if everyone pretty much drank only wine, only beer, or only liquor, there’d be enough for everyone. Obviously, that wouldn’t happen, but it could and we’d be covered.
Another quote we got had significantly lower quantities, but they were trying to stay within our stated budget (we didn’t really know what our budget should be). We ended up going with ACE but nudging their quantities down a bit, coming in about in the middle between ACE’s high quantities and the other’s low quantities, and it worked out great.
The way ACE operates is that you put down half of the estimate, they deliver, and after, you return whatever is unopened and un-iced. Then you get credited for all those returns, and just pay any additional consumed over the half-down deposit. (I think the 50% is the minimum, so if you returned more than that, you wouldn’t get money back, so the way it worked out for us, it’s good that we took the quantities down a bit.) Our caterer was familiar with ACE and knew to tell the bartenders “open as you go” to avoid opening bottles that would not be used. We returned enough that we had very little left to pay after the wedding.
Finding a venue who allowed us to bring our own alcohol (as long as it was served by a licensed bartender—provided by the caterer) saved us SO much money and it was so easy, thanks to ACE. Ordering was easy, changes were easy. Delivery was on time. Returns were quick and easy. Highly recommend! -

They are wholesalers who drop off the booze and accoutrements prior to the reception and pick them up that night (really important if you have a liquor license only for the day). And the best part is that they buy back any bottles that are unopened and not chilled!! This was really important to us as we didn't have any teetotalers attending the reception and didn't want to run out of anything (also, it's hard to know what people will be drinking). Working with Ace for our wedding was perfect. We were very nervous about our alcohol since we weren't really sure how much our guests would drink. Luckily, with Ace you can return anything that has not been chilled and unopened! We filled out a quick easy form to Ace when we first reached out to them and they sent us back a proposal based on our answers. From there we adjusted the proposal a few times until we had exactly what we wanted, paid the deposit and was billed the remainder after we had returned what was left! We found Ace through our incredible caterer, Eat & Smile, and had such a great experience! Through our coordinator and directly, Alina at Ace provided EXACTLY what we wanted for our wedding. We worked with ACE beverage based on reviews of customer service, ease of drop off and picking up alcohol, and their previous experience working with our venue (Carnegie Institute for Science). The reviews did not lie! ACE beverage, in particular Mary, was a pleasure to work with and very helpful with all of our questions. They allowed us to customize our order even near our wedding date (~2 weeks out), gave us recommendations on liquor amounts for our guest list, and the drop off and pick up went flawlessly. Even when I brought up after the wedding that a cheaper version of a particular liquor had been served, ACE beverage made the note and did not charge us for the more expensive one. They did a 100% buy back for everything in good condition (non-chilled, labels not damaged), and it takes about 3-5 business days to process once complete. Would definitely recommend using ACE beverage because of the wide selection of beers, wines, and liquors; very competitive pricing; customer service; and ability to pick up and drop off liquor to venues in the DC area. -

We bought the alcohol for our reception through ACE Beverage and they were so incredibly easy to work with! I went into the store only a week and a half in advance so I was worried about the timeline but I was promptly directed to Mary who was so helpful! She drafted up a proposal on the spot, helped me make some adjustments based on our guests, and I walked out with it mostly taken care of! I ended up purchasing the wine we were planning on serving and when I didn't love the white, I called Mary and she immediately offered a similarly priced white wine that we ended up loving!! The peace of mind with knowing we could over order on our alcohol and ACE would buy back what was unchilled and unused made them the best alcohol vendor around! Worry About One Less Thing
Working with AceBev was easy since they had a longstanding relationship with our venue and are a go-to for wedding services. They make recommendations for brands and amounts for your event and handle delivery and pickup on their own. I do think we ended up with a slightly lower liquor recommendation than our wedding needed but none of the guests could complain that they needed more to drink at the end of the night thanks to our outstanding bartending team. Work with AceBev and worry about one less thing for your wedding day. -

Ace was recommended by our reception venue as their only approved outside alcohol vendor. They were very easy to work with and had a great variety of beers and wines (the only items we offered) for us to select from. The prices were very good and they handled the delivery and pick up. We paid a deposit of approximately 50% of the estimated usage and were only charged a small final amount since our usage was lower than expected. That was handled promptly while we were on our honeymoon. -

ACE was excellent to deal with for our DC wedding. Delivery was prompt and pickup was seamless and they helped to guide us in our selection of beverages based on our guest count.
Only complaint was we ran out of vodka early in the night, even though we overestimated our guest number. Other than that, we were totally satisfied and recommend them. -

We used ACE Beverage to drop off liquor and beer for our event. Our contact there, Mary Bruce, was great. She made recommendations for types and quantities, and was flexible with changes (we changed our pickup time). I would recommend ACE.

We used ACE Beverage for all our alcohol at our wedding. They were fast with providing a quote, and the fact that they would take back unopened alcohol and deduct from our final bill was a huge plus that saved us a ton of money! Would definitely recommend them! -

Super flexible, Ace Beverages met all of our needs for our wedding in September 2013, and worked seemlessly with our catering company. Pluses: ability to return unopened bottles of wine and unopened six-packs of beer; excellent recommendations from staff on-site. Minuses: none really. Prices were generally competitive in the area, although I have seen individual liquors for more competitive prices in the Washington DC area. All in all though, a very smooth process with minimal hassle or worry - kudos. -

We used ACE to provide alcohol for our daughter's wedding. They were responsive, offered suggestions for guest counts, and were prompt with delivery and pickup. I would recommend them to others planning a wedding in the DC area. -

We used Ace Beverage for the open-bar alcohol for our wedding on recommendation from our coordinator, and they were fantastic! We weren't at all sure where to start or what quantities we would need of anything, and Mary was so helpful in advising us and recommending options. We wanted to serve wines from Virginia and from Australia (to match our backgrounds) and she was able to suggest options for this to suit our price, as well as guidance on other drinks and quantities and all our various other questions. Mary was really helpful and made the whole process very simple.
As others have mentioned, their business model of buying back any unopened and un-iced product was awesome, we ended up returning quite a lot afterwards, the drop off process was easy and it was so worth it for the peace of mind on the night that we knew we wouldn't run out of anything. Ace delivered everything to our venue and the whole process of booking and dealing with them was very simple. There was one minor hiccup where the record of our deposit payment had been mislaid and we had to email back & forth a couple of times to avoid being charged a second time, but that was resolved quickly and easily. Overall, I absolutely plan to use Ace again in future for similar celebrations and would 100% recommend their services! -

Thank you ACE! You guys nailed it!! My fiance and I aren’t big drinkers and don’t know the first thing when it comes to drinks. We just knew that we wanted to provide our guests with quality drinks for our open bar while remaining on budget. Our only demand was that all the wines served at our wedding had to be from Argentina. ACE’s representative, Will, not only worked within our budget (and actually found quality options that were below budget) but brought exactly what we requested and all of our guests (including those who do know a thing or two about drinks) were blown away at the options we had for them. The order process and then return/refund process were seamless and painless. ACE worked with our caterer to ensure that we weren’t charged for anything that wasn’t consumed and could be returned (we actually got some money back from our initial deposit). I would work with them again without any hesitation.

Smooth experience and great wine!
We used Ace Beverage for our wedding at the recommendation of our caterer, and we're so happy we did. Alina's wine recommendations were fantastic, including my favorite Sauvignon Blanc I've ever had. We have some family and friends who seriously know their wine, and even they were impressed. The whole process was smooth, and it's great that Ace will buy back leftover alcohol. Of course, we had to keep some of the leftover bottles for personal use. :) Thanks, Alina! -

We decided to use ACE three weeks before the wedding. They worked with us to chose 3 wines, 3 beers and a stocked open bar. They delivered on time and we loved the wines we chose. The 3rd beer we chose was not delivered. That was super disappointing. Otherwise, they did a great job. I'll be a customer for a very long time! -

ACE Beverage was recommended to us by our caterer for our wedding which was held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Carnegie Institute in Washington, D.C. Working with Mary Bruce Leigh from ACE was a pleasure as she was very responsive, accommodating, and friendly. Overall ACE Beverage was one of the easiest vendors to work with and I would highly recommend them to any bride who is able to “bring their own alcohol” as it was a HUGE cost saver.
Pros
• Unopened/Items not placed on ice can be returned
• Prices are very competitive with local rates especially when considering that the products are delivered
• Large selection of beer, wine, and liquor to choose from
• Ice, beer, wine, champagne, liquor, and mixers all delivered on time and leftovers picked up the next day
• Work with you to choose items based on your budget, event, etc.

Ace delivered the alcoholic beverages for our wedding as promised. That said, we were dissatisfied with several things that happened from the end of the reception until now, which is two weeks after our wedding. I don't enjoy leaving a negative review, but I do feel a bit cheated by their service and hope if you hire them you can learn from our mistakes.
My advice is that if you work with Ace, make sure that when their representative comes to collect the items at the end of the event he or she documents in some way exactly what they are retrieving. This will prevent them from "mistakenly" taking back just opened bottles that according to the terms of the contract were supposed to be left with you, and it will give you an accurate count of exactly what was consumed. Without this knowledge, it'll be your word against theirs when you are eventually billed. We found it startling that although we didn't run out of liquor during the event, Ace still billed us for every bottle of whiskey, bourbon, gin, and vodka that we had asked them to have on hand -- which was 50% more than their projected consumption count to begin with, and far more than they estimated a party of our size would have consumed.
Also, we felt it was unprofessional that they charged our credit card before providing a final invoice. We actually had to send them an e-mail asking for the invoice and an explanation of the bill. They were our only vendor to do this, and it's an action that speaks for itself.
We wish we had received this advice beforehand, so we are leaving it now your awareness going forward. You can work with them, but be careful and document thoroughly. -
