Abigail Jean Photography Wedding Review
Abigail embodies every single quality you would look for in a photographer! Her complete attention to detail, her pure happiness, and ability to light up every room added a whole other level to our wedding photos. She makes you feel like the most beautiful person in the room and tells you exactly how to stand and move to make the most perfect photos. She has a very quick turn around for her photos and is extremely responsive throughout the entire process. She truly brings your vision to life and there are not enough stars to give her in this review. I highly highly recommend her for your wedding photography! -

When you’re planning your wedding there are so many hard decisions to make and the planning process can seem endless. Undoubtedly, one of the most important decisions you will make will be who you trust to capture one of the most important days of your life. Your wedding day will go by fast and once it’s over, your memories and photos are what you will have left to cherish that day forever. Do yourself a favor and book Abigail right this second, it will be the best money you spend on your wedding! Photography is a form of art and everyone has different tastes. I gravitate towards light/airy photos while my husband prefers more dark and dramatic photography. After searching extensively for weeks and failing to find a wedding photographer that was able to match us both, we finally found Abigail. Abigail is simply extraordinary!! When we reached out for a consult, Abigail responded to our inquiry almost immediately and we had a zoom meeting within the week to discuss our preferred styles and desires for our special day. She was very kind and personable and took extensive time answering all of our questions and addressing all of our concerns. Having never been photographed professionally before, we were concerned the engagement shoot might be awkward but it was the exact opposite. Abigail makes you feel very comfortable and naturally directs you to get amazing shots. We had so much fun working with her on the engagement shoot and when we got those photos back we were in awe! The comfort we felt with her and the beauty in the photos she captures made us so much more excited for the wedding day! We chose Abigail’s photography package that includes a second photographer so she also had Madison Rae Photography come and work with her in tandem to make sure we captured all of the details of the day. Abigail was efficient and easily guided all of our friends and family during the formal photos. She’s funny and kind and made everyone feel very comfortable. During the reception and ceremony, she seamlessly blended into the background while she worked. The photographs are sensational and were everything we hoped for. A perfect combination of our styles. When we initially searched for a photographer, we felt like most could capture the family photos and ceremony well, but struggled with capturing the energy/essence of the reception. Abigail’s reception shots are some of our favorites! She was able to capture the raw joy and emotion of our friends and family at the party perfectly. The family shots are stunning and then ceremony and getting ready shots are flawless. Now we are in the process of trying to choose which we want printed to have in our home and it’s so hard to choose when every single photo is beautiful. If you’ve stuck it out through this entire review, please do yourself a favor and select Abigail, you will not regret it. We love her so much, we plan on hiring her for all of our future photography needs!!! -

Abigail is the most fantastic photographer for so many reasons. She is kind, professional and fun to work with. Her work speaks for itself-- the photos she captures are not only beautiful, but authentic and genuine. I cannot recommend her enough. Not to mention-- she was 8 months pregnant at our wedding and sat on the floor of the limousine with her camera, capturing moments that would have otherwise gone undocumented. Truly the best of the best! -

Abigail is a MUST hire for your wedding. She was courteous and easy to work with through every step of the process. I told her my fiance was already anxious about having a photographer at all and she gladly told me that she would be invisible to us on the day of and she was (other than coordinating our rambunctious wedding party). We didn't feel like she was intrusive at all and then we got the wedding teasers back and were SHOOK by how beautiful they were. It also was raining and miserable on our wedding day and she made the photos look stunning and happy regardless. I cannot recommend her more. -

Abigail is such an incredibly talented, professional, kind and fun person to work with. She photographed our engagement photos last fall and our wedding in July 2024. We loved that most of her work is movement based - not "stand and pose" - which allows you to feel the emotions when looking back at photos. She was prompt in providing preview photos and got our entire wedding suite back to us quickly. We would recommend Abigail and her team for ANY photography session you are looking for. -

Beyond our wildest dreams!
I first came across Abigail’s work through social media. My now husband and I had chosen a unique venue, and we liked the idea of selecting a photographer who had shot there previously. I now understand she’s so talented she could shoot anywhere 🙂 After one phone call we were “one and done.” We felt so comfortable and booked immediately.
There really aren’t words for how happy we are with our photos. They are beyond our wildest dreams. Abigail is professional yet warm, scheduled yet flexible throughout the day, and creates both timeless and whimsical shots. We have more photos and received them faster, than we could have imagined. With photos being the primary asset that lives on after the wedding day, they are worth the investment. Abigail is our most favorite vendor we invested in. Simply put, we feel lucky to have found her and had the opportunity to work with her! -

From our engagement shoot to the big day, we are SO grateful Abigail would capture such a special time in our lives.
Abigail was incredibly thoughtful in asking what we were hoping for in our engagement shoot (where did we want to go? why did that place sound exciting? how do we like spending time together?) and suggested the perfect place we hadn't yet explored! And for our big day, she made sure to capture the must-have list and made it look easy and on-time (which family combinations? which friend groups during the reception?). Side note, I've followed her work for a while and she had a particular mother/daughter photo during getting ready from years ago that I told her I loved - she captured that part of getting ready for me, too, and it was so special to give that to my mom at Christmas!
She was communicative and detail-oriented throughout the planning process. She's such a pro and helped us with the timeline to ensure we captured the photos we wanted, especially important as we got married off-season with limited afternoon lighting.
We are so grateful and impressed with the quality and quantity of her ability to capture beautiful details, sweet family candids, and romantic portraits. I cried when we opened our sneak peeks, and all over again when we got the full album.
Abigail has such a gift and a heart for marriage - put them together, and you'll get the most perfect wedding album you could imagine.

Couldn't be Happier!
Working with Abigail was a true treat. She was incredibly responsive, flexible, kind, creative, and a ton of fun to work with. She was great leading up to the big day - she helped to navigate through all of the details and even gave us planning advice beyond photos. On the day of, she had a vision but also took our creative thoughts in stride. There was never an awkward moment (I've been to other weddings where it can feel like prom photos) and she was incredibly efficient with her time. On top of all of this, she NAILED the photos. They were beautiful and perfectly captured the day. Abigail also has a wonderful eye for post processing - all of the photos were perfect representations of that moment. She delivered the album of photos very quickly as well. My wife and I could not have been more pleased with our experience with Abigail. We have already recommended her to friends! Stop searching and see if she is available! -

Beyond Impressed with Abigail's Work --- 10/10 would hire again
Abigail's photography has outstanding composition and is impressive in the quanitity many quality photos she was able to capture in the low-light setting of our venue. Abigail and her assistant worked very hard and were seemingly everywhere at once. I'm not photogenic at all, and found her easy to work with in terms of communication, planning, and the "taking photos" part of the wedding day. Pricing was definitely reasonable given how talented and organized she is. Abigail did outstanding and I'm grateful we hired her for our wedding. 10/10 would hire again. -

If you want the most magical wedding photos- hire Abigail!
Abigail was the first vendor we booked after we found our venue and I'm forever grateful! Our photos are stunning and I can't stop looking at them! Abigail was so much fun to work with, had so much energy and enthusiasm for our day and truly captured the best moments. Abigail took the time to get to know us when we first met and quickly understood what we wanted out of the day. It was really important to us that we had a photographer who captured the candids, the imperfect moments and the true emotions of the day and Abigail did that so well! We feel so lucky that she was there to capture our wedding! After the wedding day Abigail delivered photos quickly and included a link to our own site with all our photos that we could share with family and friends and where we could order prints and photo books. We created a book from Abigail’s site and the quality is unmatched! From the beginning of the process to well beyond our wedding day Abigail was amazing! -

10/10- do yourself a favor and hire Abigail!
Abigail is simply the best. We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding experience. She did both our engagement and wedding photos and I can't help but smile when I look at them all. Abigail is amazing to work with, she is so organized and thorough. When I had originally told her about our ceremony timeline ( a year in advance) she was quick to point out the sunset time and the ideal timeline for the best photos ( something I was certainly not thinking about.) Thanks to her knowledge, we were able to rework the timeline and now have the most AMAZING photos. As the wedding day approached, she was always available to answer my last minute questions and ease my anxiety. She also provided a list of items to remember for the detail shots. On the wedding day, she added such a calming presence. She kept us on our timeline and was able to capture so many moments, posed and candid. She had everyone in the family feeling calm and comfortable in front of the camera. No one looks uptight or nervous in out photos! We never felt rushed in getting our family photos but we weren't lingering around waiting for shots either. She was so efficient in her shooting that we were able to attend our cocktail hour for longer than expected. All of our guest have told us what great interactions they had with her, and our wedding party cannot stop talking about how lovely she was. I could go on and on about how amazing she was, but onto the photos. We got our sneak peeks the day after our wedding!! Then our gallery at the earlier half of our contracted timeline. The photos are better than I could have asked for. She captured all of the emotion of the day. Looking through our wedding gallery is truly like reliving our wedding day, she did such an amazing job.

You know you chose the right photographer when you look through your wedding/engagement photos and feel all the emotions and memories so close at heart.
Abigail's work stands apart from other photographers because she is truly an artist behind a camera-- she isn't just dialing it in, taking all the cliché shots, but instead, she shows up to each unique location and to each couple with the desire to capture them in their most authentic light (and best light!). We combed the internet and our network trying to find a photographer that could strike the perfect balance between romantic, cinematic looking photos, but also make us feel like US in the pictures... Abigail did not disappoint!
TOP REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD HIRE ABIGAIL:
1) She is super responsive, professional and flexible, with an automated process for payments, and a super easy-to-use gallery/ordering website. You don't have to stress about the logistics with her!
2) Her turn-around for sneak peeks and final delivery was unheard of. We were blown away by how quickly she got it done. We had a generous 12 sneak peeks the day after to share in person with our family that was visiting!
3) She knows just how to support you and make you feel comfortable when support is needed, while also magically blending in behind the scenes and getting all the snaps without you having to worry at all, and you can focus on getting married.
4) She is friendly and warm. She gives off an instant feeling of friendship. This does so much to make the experience pleasant.
5) You get a ton of photos. They are all stunningly beautiful, and they are seriously so gorgeous that it takes forever to choose your favorites!
6) Our package came with a beautiful stained wooden box, with select matte prints from our special day, as well as a wooden flash drive with all of our photos from both our engagement and wedding shoots. SO thoughtful and one of a kind. We will cherish it forever!
Overall, can't say enough about how talented and easy to work with Abigail was. Everyone says you should invest in a good photographer above all things, and if you're wise enough to take that advice, you'll get Abigail on the books before she gets booked up!

Simply the best!
Where to even begin...Abigail is the absolute best! From the very start, she was so nice, personable, and responsive. She was extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process and went above and beyond the day of. She was accommodating with our preferred schedule and helped us in creating a timeline that allowed our day to flow smoothly. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning with a perfect mix of candid and posed shots. Not only did she capture our day beautifully in every photo, but she was extremely helpful throughout the wedding day as well. The Best!!

Amazing and so thoughtful
Having Abigail photograph our wedding this past May was absolutely wonderful! Abigail did a terrific job capturing raw and real moments/reactions that I had missed myself with all the busyness of the day. Her poses were unique and fluid. She also did an excellent job photographing a very large bridal party without composition looking awkward. What meant the most to me was how she so thoughtfully encouraged must have pictures with special guests and groups, and even caught some that I didn’t expect! My husband and I had the best experience working with Abigail for our wedding. Neither of us loves being photographed and I really don’t like being the center of attention (tough on your wedding day!), but Abigail did such a great job helping us both feel at ease all day. Everything we wanted!

Abigail Never Fails
Photographing with Abigail was a top highlight of our special day. She is not only an artist, but a friend that goes above and beyond- the girl cleaned my rings with a toothbrush! She is also a closet meterologist with forecasting skills that allowed us a narrow window for outdoor captures after a day of relentless downpours. An absolute dream come true!
I cannot recommend Abigail enough!!! I had a vision as to what my wedding photos would look like and she exceeded it tenfold. My husband and I planned our small wedding in about 2 months and I am so grateful that Abigail was available for our day. She was very receptive to what I was looking for and I felt like she really listened and understood when we had our consultation. She was communicative as our day approached, and was happy to accommodate a couple of small changes/additions to the photo lineup with family members. My family and I did a lot of DIY for our decor and she captured every little detail perfectly. Abigail was so creative with poses, location, and positioning and timed everything flawlessly with the sunset/natural lighting. She is truly gifted behind the camera and we LOVE all of our photos-to the point we want to print literally all of them. It's such a great problem to have. This was SUCH a special day for us for a multitude of reasons and now we have these absolutely stunning photographs to remember it. I cannot express enough how wonderful our experience was with Abigail. Stupendous, amazing, fantastic, wonderful, delightful, terrific, sensational-some words I would use to describe it and they're still not enough. 1000/10 from this happy couple! -

My husband and I booked Abigail before COVID was ever a thing and we met in a Coffee shop and instantly knew she was a great fit! I found Abigail as she shot a wedding at our venue and I was obsessed with not only the quality and uniqueness of the photos but as well as her aesthetic. Abigail was flexible calm and super helpful when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. And it was so exciting to finally get to work with her on our big day. Logistically- Abigail conducted helpful check-ins with us prior to the big day and she honestly had it all covered and made me feel calm/was able to answer questions I had never thought of. On top of all of this - she worked amazingly with our videographers as well as the multiple personalities in our parties and families. I like to add she was even early when she arrived which as a Bride was such a relief! In addition to her being early, she even calmed me down as it poured rain. Abigail timed the rain just in time so we were able to shoot every photo outside- made my day! We have just received our photos and truly could not be happier. We are thrilled that we booked Abigail and she felt like a friend the entire day. My bridesmaids are still complimenting her! -

We loved working with Abigail!
We really loved working with Abigail. When I found her website, I was SO impressed with her quality of work and loved the tone of her pictures - so dreamy! We were fortunate to be able to book Abigail in one of the last wedding slots of the year, and we also did our engagement session with her. She is quick to respond to inquiries and questions, and we made a personalized contract that fit our wedding day/times and was within our wedding budget. We are a Black/white interracial couple with extremely different skin tones, and we really made an effort to find a photographer who would highlight the darker skin without washing out the lighter skin. After looking through her portfolio, we knew Abigail was just the person for the job. She made us feel comfortable and beautiful, and we are obsessed with the final product. Thank you, Abigail! -

Abigail was with us every step of the way from the moment we had our first conversation to months after the wedding when we asked about printing our pictures. She captured all the details we asked her to and even weathered the tropical storm with us on our wedding. We can't say enough great things about Abigail!! We booked Abigail pre-pandemic and she navigated our wedding postponement with ease, understanding, and empathy. Her communication and organization skills are great, and she is warm and calming to be around. The most important thing however- her pictures are absolutely phenomenal!!!! We were blown away! I have been in many weddings and I can say that Abigail is efficient, authentic, purposeful, and talented in getting the perfect pictures and moving along with the schedule in a manner that feels carefree and fun (yet she has total control of the rowdy groomsmen and has put thought into every detail- making you feel at ease and present). I would recommend Abigail to all my friends (and have) in a heartbeat! -

A seamless photographer that delivers pictures that perfectly capture the day.
Abigail was here for the ride with us for the whole experience. She was flexible and understanding for all the Covid changes and as well as us changing our mind. She helped us create timelines, helped us talk through doing a first look, when we changed our minds the week before. Day of she seamlessly captured our day and we didn't even notice she was there but captured so many perfect shots without us even noticing. The quality of the photos were magical and delivered faster than we anticipated. Cannot recommend Abigail enough, your wedding day will fly by in a whirlwind of emotion, and having quality photos like Abigail's to look back on, is priceless. -

Abigail is amazing! She captured our wedding day SO beautifully and now we get to re-live our special day through our photos. She really is the full package and everything we were looking for in a photographer - kind-hearted, artistic, organized, professional. She was also great at directing us/friends/family through our day in a very non-intrusive way and collaborating with our other vendors. Not only are our wedding photos GQ magazine quality, but the service Abigail provided leading up to and during the wedding was exceptional. She answered every silly little question I had, provided me guidance when I was unsure, and even reassured me when I was stressing about things coming together. The day of the wedding, she could see I was overwhelmed, she took the reigns and helped corral everyone together for photos and got things moving along. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer or for more beautiful photos. And not to mention, her photography skills made me and my husband look DAMN good. -

Amazing experience
Working with Abigail was a dream! I was very particular about who we selected as our photographer, I reached out to about 15 different people and interviewed 6. Abigail was the obvious choice. Lots of photographers have the same spiel they give about their services and process but Abigail spends her time first and foremost getting to know the couple and what they are looking for. She doesn’t try to fit you in a box of what your big day should look like or the shots you need to get. And while she allows you to have your own creative freedom you can rest assured she comes with the experience and eye for a good shot that we all desire. I had 9 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen and she handled out rowdy group with ease, class and humor. On the day of our wedding, my husband and I felt like we were hanging out with a friend. Which we feel is really important, your photographer is with you all day and completely sets a vibe for your surroundings so having chemistry is key. Abigail picked amazing assistant photographers who we also thoroughly enjoyed! Now on the final product. All I can say is WOW. First off, she got our pictures to us in less than a month!! That’s unheard of. Every single picture is beautiful!! Like I don’t even have words to express it. My husband and I are the furthest thing from models and we were blown away with how good she made us look. We love the fact that our photos don’t look like some cookie cutter version of a wedding and our personalities really shine through. Every single family member and friend that has seen our photos are AMAZED. So much so that one of my bridesmaid tried to book Abigail but she was already booked for a wedding. I hope to continue to work with Abigail throughout life to capture the moments we care most about. We cannot recommend Abigail enough!! -

My husband and I met Abigail well over a year ago when we hired her for our 2020 wedding, unfortunately due to the pandemic our first wedding was canceled but Abigail stayed by our side- becoming wonderfully accommodating and fair even in such uncertain times. Abigail was simply the best to work with. Having to postpone our original wedding date, change venues & deciding to elope, Abigail was with us for every step and we couldn't imagine anyone else capturing our special moments. The absolute best!
We truly cannot recommend working with Abigail enough. Abigail blew us away with her photos - to the point that we are overwhelmed with the amount of pictures we LOVE and feel like we need to do something with! From the moment I found her on Instagram and saw her work, I knew we had to work with her. In addition to her amazing talent, Abigail was so unbelievably easy and kind to work with. We cannot even begin to describe how wonderful Abigail is and was. I have known Abigail for a few years and followed her on instagram, dreaming of one day when (I hoped) she would photograph our wedding. Though COVID sadly changed most of our plans, Abigail was ever flexible and ever helpful - helping us change locations and schedules and everything - to make sure the day was as dreamy as possible. She is joyful, incredibly professional and skilled in everything she does, and so kind. The absolute BEST!
Abigail is AMAZING! It was not easy planning a wedding during 2020, and she was with us every step of the way. Amidst our 4 different planning attempts, she was responsive, flexible and kind. Three days before our planned date we found out there were thunderstorms expected all day, and our 20 person event looked like it would all happen under one, very small, tent. Abigail came to the rescue and switched another shoot so we could have our wedding the day before. The weather was perfect, and so are the photos!
Abigail was professional and fun to work with. She captured all our requested family photos, and many candid moments of our guests, which are my favorite to look back on. My husband and I had a great time taking couple shots with her. She has such fun and creative ways to make her couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, and produce some laughs.
Abigail's editing skills are unreal! She has the ability to capture so much emotion and beauty in a photo, that each frame is a true piece of art. You will not regret working with her, she is amazing in so many ways! Thank you, Abigail! -

When we first got engaged, our first priority was picking a date that Abigail would be available for, and we are so glad we did! She was so professional, working to keep things smooth and efficient. The day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about getting the shots we wanted or making sure everything looked good, because we knew Abigail was making it happen! She took care of everything, and made it such a fun and relaxing time for us. And not to mention the photos are GORGEOUS. Abigail photographed our 50-person, pandemic wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Because we had so many important people unable to attend, the pictures were really crucial to sharing the day with them. Abigail captured every significant moment, emotion, and detail that I wanted to remember (I'm pretty sure she has the ability to be in two places at once), but more than that, she managed to capture character of who we are as a couple, along with our families. She got the fun and light-hearted and silly parts as well as the serious and solemn - she also just managed to put together the most flattering series of portraits of our most dearly loved people. I haven't been able to stop looking at them since the day they arrived, and I know that in 10 years they'll be just as special. -

When I first came across Abigail Jean Photography, I knew she was who I wanted to photograph our wedding- I can remember texting my friends her Instagram in excitement back in November about our June 2020 wedding after seeing her amazing talent, and finding out that we used to attend the same church!
Little did we know how much things would change after November, but out of all of our vendors, Abigail was by far the kindest, flexible, professional, and encouraging. When states started to shut down, she let us know that no matter what we decided to do, she was there for us every step of the way. With all of the date changes, venue changes, guest list changes, and weather changes (it absolutely POURED on our day), Abigail was with us through it all. She wasn't daunted by the rain, and the pictures turned out beautifully! I love the way she captured our day and our love for each other. We cannot wait for her to capture our one year anniversary next year with all of our friends and family!!
I was also so excited to see that Abigail donates 10% of her proceeds to organizations that fight human trafficking. She cares deeply about serving both her clients and the world with love and grace. I highly recommend Abigail Jean Photography! -

The work of a truly talented and experienced professional becomes apparent when wedding starts to not go as planned. When a lot more extra constraints and limitations get added. This was the case for us as we lost our venue and had to make significant changes to guest count due to COVID pandemic. Yet Abigail managed to deliver some of the most romantic pictures I've seen despite all these constraints.
Abigail was the first wedding vendor to contact us with a dedication to serve and support in any way she could. She was ready to rework the contract to accommodate downsizing or brainstorm any other creative avenues about how we could make things work. Abigail reassured us that she would do EVERYTHING in her power to make our wedding dreams come true. And oh my did she deliver on that!
Abigail wasn't just our wedding photographer, she got to be our wedding planner, coordinator and a photographer all in one!! Abigail proposed multiple venue options since our original one got cancelled, she found us a new set of vendors to work with. We were truly, truly blessed by working with her!! Abigail was always ready to hop on a myriad of zoom calls with us to discuss last minute changes and even counseled us through a camera fright.
On the day of the wedding, although we were running behind schedule, Abigail managed to take so many beautiful pictures, kept us on track of time, even helped out our videographer with extra guidance. Trust me on this, there are very few true professionals out there who can deliver high quality work despite various constraints. Abigail is definitely one such professional.
What really makes Abigail stand apart is how masterfully she manages to catch the most sincere of moments. We never needed to pose. We just had to be ourselves. And Abigail documented that in the most beautiful way!
Needless to say, we are in love with the resulting gallery that she put together for us. And we are definitely going to work together more! -

We really wanted someone who could tell us exactly what to do to get amazing shots and Abigail knew what she was doing and directed us in a very calm and nonanxious way. It made everything so easy and stress-free. I had spent a ton of time looking up different kinds of photos you should take, going through a shot list and all of that but there was no need! It was so great to just relax on our wedding day knowing our photos were totally taken care of. She also did a great job of moving around during the ceremony, getting shots from all different angles without being disruptive in any way. She sort of like, ninja-ed her way around. Didn't even notice she was standing there but now have the photos to prove it! Super happy and now we have amazing photos forever! -

So much fun!
It was a blast working with Abby! She is professional yet personable. She takes time to get to know the couple: your back story, ideas and dream for your wedding day, family members, who will be there, etc. It was super helpful having a conversation with her a couple days prior to the wedding to iron out the final details and even go over the "what if's". Acknowledging and talking about what to do in the event something does not go to plan, actually calmed me down (nervous Type A bride over here!!!). We had our wedding at the height of the pandemic when everything was closed. This did not phase Abby at all and in the end she became more than just the photographer! She was like the wedding coordinator! She was amazing! And last, and most importantly, her work is absolutely stunning! I am completely satisfied with the pictures and got many compliments from others about her work. -

It’s been a year and a half since our wedding (read: I am very bad at writing reviews), and many of the details surrounding that week and the day itself have naturally faded in my memory over time...but the images that Abigail captured are so vibrant and intimate...they bring everything flooding back to me at a glance. The way I felt, the precious moments with friends and family...everything. She wove herself seamlessly into the background of that day, allowed everything to flow around her, and captured it all without ever drawing attention to herself or disrupting the natural cadence of what was happening. She is a consummate professional and a true artist. My husband and I are both photography enthusiasts and we were (and still are) blown away by the stunning pictures Abigail captured for us that day.
My sister and I are currently working on getting a wedding album put together for me before our first child is born and looking back through all of the hundreds of quality images has been a delight. Hiring Abigail was hands-down the best decision we made regarding our wedding and she was by far the easiest vendor we worked with. I simply cannot recommend her enough! -

Amazing to work with!
My Husband and I planned a wedding in Cape Cod while living in New York City. I found Abigail on instagram and was immediately impressed by her photographs. We weren't able to meet with her in person prior to our wedding, but instead spoke over the phone. She was easy to talk to, flexible and very passionate about her work. We connected almost right away and knew she was an awesome fit. At our wedding it felt like we had known each other for years. She made the process of taking pictures so much more fun than I had imagined. We had a total of 5-10 minutes to get some of our photographs of just the two of us after the ceremony and she had us laughing and running around for photos, which turned out to be our favorites. Abigail's energy is palpable. We would recommend her to anyone. She is transparent, responsive, professional and a blast to work with. She captured beautiful moments at our wedding that we will forever be grateful to have. -

We hired Abigail for our wedding day and for our pre-wedding events (Indian Haldi Ceremony), and she was AMAZING. The photos turned out so great, and she was great about giving us direction when we needed (we're very awkward in front of the camera). She was flexible when schedules had to be adjusted last minute, and she was great about interacting with the family and getting everyone on to the dance floor at the reception! After the wedding, all of our friends and family were raving about how much they loved her. I would definitely recommend hiring Abigail for your wedding / engagement / any photo session! -

Professional, Unobtrusive and Fun - The Wedding Photographer for You
Abigail and her assistant, Ben, exceeded our expectations of photography. We planned a 100 guest winter wedding from across the country. We had Boston weather concerns and were unable to do an engagement photo shoot before the big day. She and Ben immediately put us at ease and made the entire experience feel fun, relaxed and natural. If you are looking for an incredible photographer, who will make taking photos on you big day feel fun and easy, look no further. Abigail will make your wedding day feel perfect and you will be stunned with the photos.
On our wedding day it rained. Abigail and Ben took a dreary Boston day and made our photos absolutely stunning. She was able to take what I thought was a negative, and turn it into incredible photos that I truly cannot stop looking at. She was able to capture our true selves, which are silly and not always comfortable in front of the camera and make us appear natural and utterly happy.
The most incredible part about Abigail and Ben, is how they were able to capture every moment, but not feel like they were intruding on special conversations or just right up in our face while we were enjoying our wedding day. I have been to weddings where it felt like the photographers were just constantly up in the bride and groom's faces and making their presence feel like a necessity and not a lovely addition. It is truly remarkable that Abigail and Ben were able to fade into the scenery of the wedding but still capture our wedding day entirely.

Full disclosure: Abigial is a dear friend. When my now-husband and I got engaged, we knew we wanted Abigial to shoot our wedding. Her stunning work speaks for itself, and we have the benefit of knowing her character. Abigail loves people, and she believes in the beauty and goodness of marriage. Both of these qualities shine through her photography and are obvious the minute you meet her!

Abigail was a pleasure to work with from the start. We knew after our first meeting she was a great fit for us.
Abigail was very responsive and flexible with us throughout the process. She both offered interesting ideas for us for our photoshoots and incorporated our input for our vision. Prior to the wedding, we had first look photos at the church and we were really happy with how those turned out. She had an assistant photographer and they helped us with poses and getting our pictures perfect. On our wedding day, it was reassuring to know the photos were turning out well and something to look forward to. The photos during the wedding were fun to look at as well since I got to see my wedding from a different perspective.
The photoshoot at our reception venue (a golf course) definitely exceeded our expectations, and again Abigail was creative in making this part of our evening special.
Abigail also took some fun photos during the dance. Both us and our guests loved these. This was one of my favorite parts of the night and we really appreciate that this was included in the package.
Lastly, Abigail sent us some of her favorites quickly after the wedding, before sending the whole package just a few weeks later!

First off, go check out Abigail's instagram page (@abigailjeanphoto). Her work and style speak for themselves.
Abigail is amazing at her job. She did our engagement photos, and wedding photos, and we were just blown away every time. She's got a creative point-of-view that's hard to come by and she knows how to get the perfect shots - from directing us to do cool poses, to capturing our personalities through little moments. We had so much fun in all our shoots with her because she wasn't just doing due diligence, she's in it for the memories.
Our engagement shoot was with a pre-sunrise in the north shore. She knew of a beautiful, rocky beach spot, and boy did that sunrise glow look so good. We wouldn't even have thought of the time of day as a factor for good photography, but it made a huge difference.
Our wedding was at a place called Olio in Peabody. We did our first look photos before the ceremony, so during cocktail hour, we snuck out and took more pictures on the streets. Abigail was instantly hooked on some brick buildings, and now we have beautiful model shots!
All in all, the photographer of the year award goes to Abigail for her vibes, her shots, and her joy that made our photo shoots so fun to remember. -

From the moment I bet Abigail, I knew she'd be amazing/the perfect fit for our wedding. Her style & talent was exactly aligned to what we were looking for, but I'd say best of all, her work ethic and personality is more so what made her the right fit.
Not only is she a boat load of fun with an amazing & cheerful personality, she is incredibly hard working & professional - the combo of the two couldn't be more what you're looking for when on the hunt for all your wedding vendors. It was important to her to understand what it was we wanted for our day and she made sure to ask the right questions to get us there.
From the engagement photo session (that she recommended we do in order to understand our style/a practice run for my husband and I to work together - HIGHLY recommend) where we had a boat night with her husband in tow (invited by us!) through to the wedding day - I felt so at ease knowing that she was going to capture our day in the best way possible. Most of all, girl can get DOWN on the dance floor and highlighted all the special moments that we'll carry with us for years to come -

Abigail is the most friendly and flexible person, and accomodates you and your requests. She really thinks about every aspect of the day and is thorough in the prepping of the run up to the wedding day. Her organisation, professionalism and attention to detail are on point.
All this aside, we are honestly SO pleased with our selection of photos (and there are a lot!). We adore them all and feel Abigail managed to really capture every aspect of the day so well. It's incredible that she managed to do this all single-handed at our wedding! The quality of the photos are outstanding (I was super fussy when it came to picking a photographer for our wedding) and she has edited them so well. They are natural even when posed.

Hire her now! Abigail was amazing!!! My husband and I recently eloped and despite my lack of firm plans at the start Abigail was beyond accommodating and flexible and lovely to work with as I figured out details and nailed down the exact date and time. A few weeks before our ceremony we met for coffee and looked as some inspiration photos and just chatted - it was a blast as well as a huge relief to know that she understood exactly what I wanted. She came to the table with a bunch of great ideas and was totally open to trying a few new things on my list as well!! We got 8 photos back within 24 hours and I am beyond excited to get the rest! My friends and family seem more excited by all of our photos than the fact that we even eloped! Would 100% recommend her to anyone for a wedding big or small!!! -
Ann Sent on 11/14/2017I highly, highly recommend Abigail! Finding the right photographer is probably the most important decision to make on vendors, maybe rivaled only by venue. It may be also one of the most time-consuming; my fiance and I skyped with many photographers and pored through portfolios and prices. We chose Abigail because of her amazing talent, her ability to connect with people and capture candid moments, and her versatility with various settings, since we were having an indoor ceremony and an outdoor reception. We had a vision for our wedding to be full of natural sunlight, warmth and community, and worshipful joy (we are both Christians), and Abigail delivered on that in our photos. She was very organized from the start, arrived on time at the hotel where I was getting ready, and started shooting pictures of my dress, shoes and jewelry immediately. Every step of the way she was very efficient while being encouraging and helpful. After our ceremony, we had blocked 1 hour of time for family and friend photos since we had 20+ groups to go through. She managed to get it done in only 30 minutes, leaving ample time for everyone to get to the reception and not be stressed out. We had a lot of little kids at the wedding and she took so many precious pictures of them that we and our guests will treasure forever. She captured all the magical moments and made sure she was always where the action was, while also taking time to get candid shots of ordinary heartwarming interactions among guests. Her second photographer was awesome as well and the whole online album looked like a seamless journey with the different angles they covered. When it came time to choose which ones to include in the print album, I ended up printing extra albums myself because I had 90+ favorite photos as opposed to the usual 20 or so that go in a standard album. I've attached a few of the photos here. Bottom line, you will not go wrong with Abigail!
