Wedding Vow Renewal

We had Aaron and his photographer, Tony, officiate our vow renewal. Aaron made it everything we imagined it would be! He did the most amazing job! He is very accomplished in what he does and a true professional. We arrived on a cruise ship and Aaron had many wedding venues for us to choose from and suggested the Audubon House. It was a beautiful venue for a small renewal. If you are looking for a professional, sincere and total gentleman, you will not be disappointed with Aaron!

Highly recommend Aaron!

Aaron was easy to communicate with through the entire process, which was very helpful when planning my destination wedding in Key West. He was able to let us customize specific parts of our ceremony to include certain verbiage and readings. He did great speaking during our ceremony and had very touching and heartfelt words of marriage and partnership. Highly recommend Aaron for your wedding officiating needs.

Extremely Happy Couple!

From start to finish, the entire process was hands off, and stress free-- exactly what we were looking for. Aaron is a skilled orator, and did a fantastic job organizing our wedding on Sunset Key. Tony did an exceptional job capturing our wedding; providing over 400 high quality pictures within 24 hours. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Aaron for our wedding!

Amazing Service!

Aaron provided us with superb service. We wanted a simple beach ceremony to renew our wedding vows of 25 years. He provided us with just that! He is the most professional, and a true gentleman. Very meaningful and heartfelt!

Aaron was great! He met with us a couple days before the wedding and walked us through how the ceremony was going to go and what we should do. We chose not to write our own vows and the vows that he provided to us were so meaningful and heartfelt, much better than I would have been able to do! His pace and timing was perfect! We received so many compliments about him. I highly recommend using Aaron as your officiant.

When another 'officient Dan' left us high and dry after paying 1/2 of total cost of our wedding, Aaron quickly said yes!! He met with us, told us exactly what to expect, and was prompt on arrival. We got to say our 'dos , right before a huge downpour on the beach(always have a plan b for a beach wedding in Key West!). Thank you so much for our beautiful ceremony!! I cannot say enough about how great Aaron was to work with. He was responsive, kind, creative, and most of all, extremely patient as we planned our wedding long distance from Maryland with a lot of moving parts. When I finally got to meet Aaron, I found him to be warm and funny as well. He connected us with a dream of a photographer and hooked me up with the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen. He handled all of it, from ordering the flowers to recommending everything from hair and makeup to reception restaurants. And he responded to our numerous emails with links to resources, always within hours. Although we did not have him as our officiant, as my sister (who is a minister) performed our ceremony, I honestly wish we could have had them both. I'm really going to miss working with him, and hope to hang out next time we're in Key West! Thanks, Aaron. You rock!!

Aaron handled everything and made it as easy as possible for both of us. He is very good at making you feel so relaxed that when it came to our day, we actually got to enjoy the moment and not worry about anything else. His professionalism is above average and his ability to put you at ease makes him the only choice in Key West. If you do not chose him to do your wedding, then you are already at a disadvantage.

Aaron was great. I'm a control freak so not knowing what was going to be said during my wedding was a little hard. But I was beyond happy with his words. We had lots of compliments afterwards and he was great at explaining everything.

I can't express how wonderful our wedding was thanks to Aaron! He is so relaxed and confident the entire experience was fantastic. Several. of the people invited even commented on his voice and how his tone of voice and cadence were perfect. It was a pleasure to work with him as we made the arrangements and he was very responsive in regards to staying in communication with me leading up to the wedding.

Aaron was absolutely amazing ! A friend of mine had him officiate his wedding and recommended him to us. Arron was so calming during the ceremony and everyone at the wedding asked us where we found him. I had always heard how scary the wedding ceremony would be and how you can't wait for it to be over but that couldn't have been more untrue. Aaron made it beyond memorable and warm! Highly recommend hiring Aaron Wechter to officiate your wedding! He put us at ease throughout the entire process, from walking us through how to obtain our marriage license to making sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Like many of you considering Aaron, our wedding was a destination wedding and we did not have the time or resources available to travel in ahead of time to meet with vendors. All of our vendors were booked strictly through reviews and word of mouth. We booked the officiant dead last. It was something that stressed me out because we wanted a non-religious ceremony and it seemed as if the options were limited. After talking with all the vendors working our wedding Aaron was the clear choice as he came highly recommended by each and every one. The booking process was simple and Aaron was easy to deal with from A to Z. When we went to apply for the marriage license even the clerk sang his praises. She said he was her favorite to work with and that he hand delivers the signed licenses himself. When the day of the wedding came he was there, he did the thing, everyone clapped and we were married. He made it easy, comfortable and exactly what we wanted. I couldn’t have asked for more. He’s a true professional!

We were lucky enough to have Aaron marry us on May 5 on Sunset Key. The planning process was low-stress, he was very responsive to emails and made us feel so relaxed both in the months leading up to, and on our wedding day. Aaron is so obviously passionate about what he does, and it made our ceremony feel so special. It is a day we will never forget!

Aaron was absolutely awesome! We reached out to Aaron a few months prior to the wedding and he immediately responded to guide us through the process. My fiance' and I lived out of state so planning a destination wedding was a little tough. Aaron immediately helped us get our marriage license via mail instead of stressing upon arrival to Key West during the holidays. I was very nervous about any vows or proceedings but Aaron came to our vacation rental a few days prior to the wedding and walked us (literally) through the whole process so we knew what to expect. He spoke beautifully at our ceremony and our friends actually told us afterward that Aaron was the best officiant they have seen and that his powerful voice made it enjoyable for everyone to be a part of. He did a phenomenal job and there was absolutely no one else I would have chose for our wedding day. Thank you Aaron!

My husband and I were lucky to have Aaron as our Officiant for our wedding on 11/06/15 in Key West at the Sheraton Suites. His services were included in our wedding package through the hotel, which was a win for us. Aaron was personable and spoke beautifully at our ceremony. We met with him in-person the day before the wedding to go over what all would be happening; he walked us through everything and made us comfortable with and very aware of what we needed to do during the ceremony, as well as our family members who were involved. We also paid him separately to order an extra attendant's bouquet, which matched my bridal bouquet beautifully. We are very glad we chose to utilize his services, and would recommend him to anyone getting married in Key West/FL Keys area. On a side note, when we went to go fill out the paperwork for the marriage certificate - the secretary asked who we were using as the Officiant and when we said Aaron Wechter, she lit up and began telling us how great he was.

Aaron officiated our wedding at The Westin Key West on April 4, 2015. We can't say enough about how much we loved him! He was very easy to work with from day one and he made us feel like we had known him for years after meeting him. His words at our ceremony were meaningful and perfect - he had everyone, including us, crying happy tears with what he was saying! So this review isn't for our "wedding" but more of a vow renewal ceremony. I scheduled it with Aaron only about 6 weeks earlier and luckily our actual anniversary date was available. The ceremony was going to be an intimate one with our teenage children and a few family members. Aaron arranged for a photographer to take pictures of the ceremony.

I spoke with him on the phone originally and then communicated with him a few times via email. I would always receive a response from him within 24 hours and he was very reassuring.

The vow renewal ceremony went off without a hitch. We showed up early and so did Aaron and his photographer. The day was beautiful and I couldn't believe that even after 20 years together, the ceremony still brought tears to our eyes-just as when we first got married 20 years earlier. Aaron's demeanor during the ceremony was that of a caring father figure. Even though he has probably done this a few hundred times before, we felt like we were the only couple in Key West.

He congratulated us after the ceremony and off we went to celebrate with a nice dinner.

It was fun and meaningful and when we received the CD with the pictures, it brought back great memories from our vow renewal.

All in all, it was a great experience. Aaron is easy to deal with, professional, accommodating and someone we highly recommend.

Recently, we recommended Aaron to some friends that decided to finally "make it official".

Thanks again for a great experience.

Aaron turned our request "we want to get married in the Keys" into a beautiful, unforgettable and truly perfect wedding! He organized the venue, flowers, photographer, day-of plans and served as the Officiant. The ceremony was the best we've ever experienced...and we've been to a lot of weddings - lucky us!! :)

Aaron was so helpful throughout the process that we felt no stress at all - unusually for a Bride, right?!?

We found Aaron online and couldn't be happier that we chose him to help plan and officiate our wedding in Key West. We were married at sunset on New Years Eve on Sunset Key. We wanted a small, simple wedding on the beach. Aaron was very attentive and you can tell he loves what he does. We felt very well looked after yet the whole event was as easy and laid back as we wanted it to be. The photographer he chose for our wedding, Tony Gregory, was wonderful as well. We couldn't have been happier!

Aaron is beyond wonderful to work with. From the moment we exchanged emails, I knew that I was going to enjoy working with him and trusted him to make our wedding day perfect!

Planning a destination wedding was definitely stressful at times, but Aaron helped ease away all of the fears and made everything so easy. His wisely chosen words, touching vows, and professionalism made each moment that much more special. On the day of my arrival to Key West, my red eye flight had been delayed. Aaron was not only flexible in meeting me upon my arrival, but he made sure I was comfortably settled in at my hotel. I could not have had a better officiant. I would highly recommend Aaron's Key West Weddings if you are looking for a stress free, simple beach wedding. Aaron was absolutely amazing! He is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to any questions you may have. He was also very prompt when returning emails. Aaron delivered my bouquet of flowers to my hotel, which I was very thankful for and the flowers were perfect! All I wanted for my ceremony was a beautiful beach location with my closest friends and family, and that is exactly what I got. It was absolutely perfect and I wouldn't have changed one single thing! Definitely use Aaron if you are considering a Key West wedding! You won't regret it!

Aaron Wechter is an amazing officiant. He speaks with a commanding voice, yet evokes a sense of peace and calm over your ceremony. Our guests loved him, and we couldn't agree more. I used Aaron for our Officiant and also he provided our flowers. I'm not from Key West and was booking everything based on reviews for the most part. I highly recommend Aaron. He did such a perfect ceremony - I had many guests come up and tell us how beautiful it was. Even one person saying it was the first time they cried at a wedding! He was very easy to work with and made sure we knew what to expect the day of. He also makes a point to move to the side during the ceremony so he won't be in the wedding pictures. Also I got my flowers from him and they were so beautiful! Really amazing. I would recommend him for Officiant or any of this other services!

Aaron was wonderful as our wedding officiant in Key West. He is a very caring and sincere person, which was important to us as we were planning a destination wedding. Aaron was fantastic! We had a wonderful initial conversation during which he thoroughly explained everything, and was so warm and personable, he put my mind at ease right away about planning my wedding from so far away. He responded promptly to every email and question we had, and the flowers, photographer and musician he arranged for us were fabulous. He even dropped our DVD of wedding photos by our hotel before we left town.

Aaron is AWESOME! He is helpful, friendly and responsive. He preforms the ceremony taylor fit to your needs. He is flexible and punctual...the lady at the Marriage certificate even said he is the only officiant that personally walks the liscense to get filed, and ALWAYS on the day after the wedding. It rained lightly at our outside wedding, but Aaron was able to remain calm and steady (which kept the guests, groom and I calm and steady) and complete the ceremony! He is funny and personable and my family loved him!

Aaron performed our ceremony on 10/11/12 at Smathers Beach #11. We met with Aaron in March for a preliminary meeting. He was full of great information. He suggested a few venues to consider and we followed him to the Key West Gardens. In the end, we chose to go with Smathers Beach. We only had 9 guests and could not justify the costs of some of the private venues. We lucked out and got a beautiful sunset on the beach!

On Wednesday, October 10th, we called Aaron after we received our marriage license. Aaron promptly came to where we were (the Green Parrot). He went through all steps of the ceremony. I felt like we had a "rehearsal" while sitting at one of our favorite bars drinking a really good Bloody Mary. I had requested that my sister read a scripture excerpt and my father bless the marriage with a prayer. Aaron told me exactly when this would happen in the ceremony and that he would lead my father and sister through everything.

At 6pm, Aaron met us at #11 and went through the ceremony process with my father and I (privately), right before we walked down the aisle. Aaron gave a PHENOMENAL ceremony. It was so thoughtful and meaningful. He is a true professional when it comes to delivering a perfect ceremony. OK... so one little side note (and I hate to say this because he was so great)... but his phone did ring once during our ceremony. He promptly silenced it... and we all got a little chuckle out of it. Maybe he staged it to calm our nerves? Again, his words were beautiful and so eloquently delivered.

He also arranged for our flowers... the bouquet and boutonniere were beautiful! I highly recommend Aaron for a perfect, simple, stress-free Key West wedding!

I can not Thank Arron enough for wonderful job he did for our wedding day, 8th Feb 2012. It was truly amazing.
I had been very nervous trying to organising my wedding from Ireland, as i had no knowledge of anyone or the quality of the service they provided in the USA, never mind Keywest.
But from our first contact, everything was so prompt and professional, that i knew that i had made a good choice.
Even down to the restaurant he recommended, to Karen the photographer, Marie-Pierre for hair & make-up, the beautiful flowers.We went with every single one of Aarons recommendations and I was not disappointed.
Arron will always be a part of the memories of our special day for the wonderful ceremony he performed and everything he did.

Aaron was so wonderful!! Everyone at my wedding commented on how that was the most personal wedding ceremony they have seen. Aaron let us write our own vows, and picked the perfect beach spot for our wedding. Not to mention, the bouquet he provided was absolutely stunning. It has been months since the wedding and the wonderful service we received still resonates strongly with me and my husband. My grandmother even called me recently after attending another wedding and said "you know after your and John's wedding everything seems just so fake." Aaron was our officiant for our wedding! He was excellent. He delivered the most heartfelt ceremony for us and was great to work with. We planned the wedding from MI and he was very quick to respond to any questions we had. He had great ideas for us when we were looking for ceremony locations. He was very focused on us during our day and you could tell that he knew what needed to be done and when. Some of the officiants that we contacted, you could tell they did several in a day and didn't give that personal attention. If you want an awesome ceremony, give Aaron a call!

Aaron was wonderful to work with. He was prompt in answering my emails (from 1000+ miles away) and helped us to plan the wedding ceremony that best fit us and our day. As a wedding photographer, I especially appreciated that he stepped out of the way for each major part of the ceremony - so that in each photo (of us exchanging rings, doing our vows, and kissing), just the two of us are in the photo. This was amazing (and unheard of that an officiant would respect the photographer enough to do this for us)! I'd recommend Aaron to ANYONE planning a FL Keys wedding!

Beyond our expectations! Our ceremony and vows were beautiful and well spoken. Our wedding was truly unforgettable.

Aaron knows Key West and can tell you anything you need to know - shrimp, fishing, makeup, cakes, where to stay...anything!. Emails were returned in less than 24 hours.

He took us to the ceremony site and went over what was to happen on our wedding day, personally delivered my bouquet to our vacation home, and was happy and helpful through the whole process.

We were married by Aaron this fall at the Ocean Key Resort. He had a great presence, a calming voice, and an even better message. We truly enjoyed having Aaron as our Officiate. We met with him one time before the wedding to get to know him, and instantly we knew that he was the best option for us! Aaron not only conducted a beautiful ceremony, he was also a great resource for our destination wedding. He showed us the way to get the legal matters cleared, and was very flexible in adding in a reader and our sand ceremony. If you are looking to elope in Key West, choose Aaron. I reviewed and contacted several different people, but once I communicated with Aaron, I knew he was the guy for us. He gave me great recommendations for a cake vendor and a hair and makeup artist, and he hooked us up with an awesome photographer.

He really made the process so easy and simple and beautiful for us...we couldn't have asked for more!

Just like the feeling and mood in Key West, mellow and laid back, but Aaron is completely professional, with excellent follow through and on time and accurate. He has willingness to accommodate whatever we requested yet allowed us to design our own ceremony. We looked on the internet reluctantly but found Aaron and after only speaking to him once we knew we need not worry. From begining to end Aaron was extremely professional, knowledgeable & helpful + the value was excellent; great service and expertise - Aaron helped set everything from the license, flowers, music, amazing photos and even recommended a great restaurant for after the ceremony. Key West was a wonderful choice as a venue for our wedding, but it would have been very stressful to try to plan a wedding far from home without the help of a local expert. I can't emphasize how happy we are that we found Aaron! He knows the island and its hotels and restaurants, including the key people in those places, as well as who to hire or recommend for photography, videography, flowers, cakes, salon services, music, and anything else you might need. But what truly made the difference for us was Aaron's personality: his thorough follow-up, commitment to professionalism, and his patient and caring handling of every question or concern. I was referred to Aaron Wechter for what was actually our Recommitment Ceremony - my husband and I were celebrating our 16th anniversary and decided to renew our vows on the beach in Key West, FL.

Aaron far surpassed my expectations, by offering ideas and suggestions I hadn't thought of, providing full concierge services for EVERYTHING we needed, and officiating a ceremony that was actually FAR more special and meaningful than our actual wedding...

We booked with Aaron way back in October for our wedding in April and didn't hear back from him after he received his deposit until I gave him a call letting him know we actually wanted a close family friend to perform the ceremony (since I want sure if he was ever going to contact me anyway). I let him know what our plans were and for the trouble, didn't mention wanting our deposit back.

However, the series of emails and call I received from this man after the news was simply un-professional. He firstly, estimated the days wrong- so Im not sure he would have shown up on time but the kicker is, he told me he had a list of people he could have booked instead.

He only thought of himself and I honestly was curious as to whether is vendor was going to contact me at all.
