    AV Costa was suggested by my mom because she and my dad as well as my grandparents got their invitations there. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want my mother's invitation- I wanted something more modern but yet traditional. Angela at A.V. Costa helped us find the perfect invitation that matched our wedding theme/ decor, colors and style. She was so helpful and knowledgeable! We got so many compliments on the invitations as well as our matching place cards and ceremony programs. I would recommend them to anyone!

    We used A.V. Costa for our wedding invitations and a beautiful seating chart. They did an amazing job on both!! I was a little overwhelmed at the amount of invitations to choose from- they have tons but walked me through it and helped us to pick our favorite. We were very happy with the way things turned out!!! The seating chart came out gorgeous - and we rented a stand for it which was very nice as well!

    My husband and I both bought our bridal party gifts here and we couldn't be happier. They have a huge selection for both men and women. All of their products are very affordable and most of them can be personalize. We ordered our gifts well before our wedding to assure we would have them on time, and within a week, they were calling us to say everything was ready. They truely stand by their product. One item that came in was damaged and they called to say they were re-ordering it due to a small scratch. Our bridal party loved their gift. (The personalized humidors they offer in their catalog are AMAZING!!!) The customer service was always outstanding. I would definitely go back there for a unique or personalized gift!

    They had so many options for our budget. They include 100 thank you notes, 100 napkins (already printed) and a card for a percentage off anything else in their store ie rings, reception accessories.

    We bought our invitations and our gifts for our wedding party here- excellent family owned business with variety, reasonably priced, excellent customber service- absolutely wonderful.

    Everyone at Costa was very nice and helpful. I think we spent 4 hours there picking out an invite, and they were not the least bit inpatient! They offered suggestions based on our vision, and in the end they turned out perfect.
    Also, I had some changes I wanted to make during the review process and they were very responsive and attentive. They have been in business for years, so they know what they're doing.

    A.V. Costa has an amazing variety of invitations. In fact, it can be a bit overwhelming. The staff, however, is very helpful and their prices are quite good. If you have a bit of patience and want to find the perfect invitations, but can't afford custom design, A.V. Costa is the place to go.

    Wonderful to work with...LOVED MY invitations! I recieved them within two weeks of ordering them! They had so much to choose from, if you don't know what you want be prepared to be there for hours! They love to help if you want it if you don't they will check in on you! It was wonderful and welcoming!

    They made GREAT invitations! One thing though was that they didn't have very many options for color combinations and also for invitation designs. However, we loved how their invitations turned out!

    I live in NYC but grew up in Albany so decided to support a hometown business for my invitations. This was one of the biggest regrets of my wedding. If you live in the area and can drive over there a few times it wouldn't have been a big deal. The initial meeting was fine, but I did feel a little uneasy because their technology is so outdated they don't even have spell check on their computer. My fiance was standing behind her as she was typing correcting the spelling. Once the non-refundable deposit was in, they called me over a week later saying that my matching rehearsal dinner invites (I only needed 25) were not available. They sold us something out of stock. Not being able to drive back to Albany, I asked for a refund, as nothing was printed yet and I wanted everything to match. They refused! Are you kidding me? They said they spent a lot of time with us and needed to be compensated. What about all of the time we spent with them and them signing a contract for a product they didn't have? Anyway, they sent me another invite they said would match, which honestly did not match at all. (oh, and they told me I'd have to pay postage for them to send me the sample.) I called the manager back and was ready to really fight for a refund. She listens and says, "Let me try the printer again." Later that day they found the original 25 invitations so we proceed with the order, but I don't know why they couldn't find them the first time. The funniest/most frustrating part is that they make you pay $10 for a faxed black and white proof of your invitation. Most printers have online proofs now or at least will provide you something more clear than a crappy faxed copy to proof your order. If they made a mistake (here's where the lack of spell check is really a problem) you have to pay another $10 for another proof which they can only fax to you, not email. They don't know how to scan in things to email. Bottom line: we called it AV 80's. Don't try if you don't live nearby, and even if you do consider other options.
