The ultimate choice for your event

ATTC was hands down the BEST choice we made for catering our wedding... Alexis was our day of coordinator and we COMPLETELY let go and trusted her, which is a testament to her consistent support throughout the process, knowledgable background and connections, passion for helping others, and fun loving tendencies! The food the day of the wedding was impeccable, service was amazing, and we were assigned a specific "Designated Assistant," Becky, who made sure all of our needs were met and that we got to try all of the food (and stay hydrated)!!! If you are debating, without a doubt this is the right pick for your big day or event!! Cannot recommend them enough.

A Fantastic Experience

Working with ATTC was an absolute dream! We were honestly a little hesitant to book them after talking with their sales manager, but our coordinator, Catherine, and entire team were phenomenal. I made the questionable decision of not having any sort of planner/coordinator, and absolutely could not have gotten through the process or the day without Catherine. We were able to add the setup of our extensive DIY decor/florals into our contract, and when we arrived to the reception everything was perfectly in place. When some hiccups arose (fully on us), they pivoted so smoothly no one even knew anything was going on.

And that's not even talking about the FOOD. My husband is quite the amateur chef, and he had so much fun kicking around ideas with their culinary team. They were happy to swap out hors d'oeuvres, add sauce options, and fully adjusted for the (minimal) feedback we gave at our tasting; it was a really lovely and collaborative process. We weren't sure exactly how to execute our vision of food stations in a memorable but boomer-family-friendly way, but everything was as clear and approachable as it was delicious. I think the ATTC chef introduced 20+ people over age 70 to bao buns, and they loved them! We got so many compliments on the food, and although I personally couldn't summon an appetite to save my life, the dedicated "bride and groom" attendant did her absolute best to get us fed. We also have high standards for our cocktails, and ATTC was game to batch a personal favorite they had never heard of, also extensively complimented by all the guests.

Of course this level of service is not cheap, but Catherine did everything possible to keep the process transparent and smooth. Every menu adjustment came with a clear quote update, and we were never upsold on anything.

If you aspire to be the mythical wedding that your guests actually remember your food, or you're just trying to do a lot on your own and need a vendor team with peak professionalism that you don't need to worry about, ATTC is the team you need!

Ideal Catering Company for your Wedding

A Thyme to Cook was such a great partner throughout our wedding planning process and on the day itself. They were incredibly communicative leading up to our wedding on 9.13.25 at Eolia Mansion, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. Our tasting was amazing, and when we shared feedback, they made adjustments right away. It really felt like they wanted to get everything just right.

On the wedding day, their team truly helped the day flow. Even when we ran into hiccups with our transportation company, they stayed calm and made sure everything continued to run smoothly behind the scenes. The setup was efficient and well executed, and the food and drinks were a huge hit. Our guests are still raving about the menu, passed appetizers, and desserts.

Overall, we had a great experience working with A Thyme to Cook and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer and day-of coordination team who helps bring everything together.

So creative, fun, and incredible!!

We could not imagine our wedding without A Thyme to Cook! From our first meeting with Juli, where she encouraged and got excited by all of our crazy creative ideas, to every meeting and incredible tasting with Rachel -- we had the best time dreaming up all the food and drinks for our wedding day. And they BEYOND executed! The food was so delicious, but perhaps just as important was the kindness, care, efficiency, and professionalism Rachel & her whole team showed us. We are SO glad we hired ATTC and couldn't recommend them more!

Highly Recommend!

We chose ATTC because our venue spoke highly of them and WOW we are so glad we did. From the beautiful private menu tasting to the (many) planning calls, the team was amazing to work with and brought our vision to life. Where A Thyme to Cook really shines is the day of the wedding. They were professional, efficient and pulled everything off beautifully. They had amazing attention to detail. None of this would have been possible without Dee, our point person at ATTC who lead her team flawlessly and brought all her energy to our wedding day. Dee was so caring with her execution of our special day, made us so comfortable and did not miss a detail. Thank you, Dee for your expertise- we are so grateful that we could just focus on getting married and having fun knowing you had everything under control. 10/10!

Amazing Caterer Brought Our Wedding Vision to Life

We worked with A Thyme to Cook and Lex was our coordinator. We could not have asked for anything better. They totally understood the vision of the event we were going for and customized the most perfect menu. They helped bring our vision to life through amazing food, coordinating many of the rentals, and fabulous service throughout the event. Delicious and Thorough

ATTC did an incredible job building a menu that centered our favorite and treasured foods/flavors, while also providing lots of organizational support for the day of. Out of all the vendors for this venue, ATTC was the most flexible with our budget and had the clearest communication. Thank you Alexis and the team for helping us have an incredible May wedding! Superb Experience with A Thyme to Cook!

Thanks to ATTC, our daughter and her husband enjoyed a spectacular wedding reception! The food was absolutely delicious, exceptional in the presentation, and highly complimented by many of the guests. The catering staff are all friendly and professional. We were so grateful for the support of Rachel Leyland (Event Coordinator) who is a delight to work with! She is both easy going and highly organized. A shout out also to Allan and Becky; your help was invaluable. In addition to impeccable food service, the staff did an amazing job bringing all the design elements together for a stunning visual experience. 5 + stars!

Wedding caterer

Alexis was our events coordinator that we were assigned. She was the most personable, reliable and caring person to work alongside us planning our big day. The food was hands down the best wedding food we have ever eaten. Numerous people came up to us after the wedding raving about the food. Alexis and the whole team made setting up the venue and coordinating the ceremony stress free for me. Amazing food and staff!

Thyme to Cook not only catered amazing food, the entire staff were amazing. Lex and Catherine far surpassed our expectations and our Wedding Day would not have been the same if we did not have them from day 1 until the end. LOOK NO FURTHER - A Thyme to Cook is the best catering service you can find.

They happened to be the first one I called and the first thing I booked after we chose our venue, Saltwater Farm Vineyard. I called other catering options, but I always went back to the first conversation in my mind that I had with Juli. She really painted the picture of what I wanted for my wedding. Our wedding date was 10/4/24 and Juli said, “Okay, so it’s fall in New England. Your guests arrive to apple cider and water before being seated in the vineyard.” I was hooked. A Thyme to Cook’s reviews spoke for themselves, but I also felt extremely lucky when I was paired with Paige as my coordinator. Not only did she make the day of my wedding run as seamless as possible, but she also answered all of my paragraph long emails leading up to the wedding. She was the most important person I was working with throughout this whole experience since I was planning the wedding myself and not using a planner. Because of her I felt confident in how everything was slowly coming together despite having no idea what I was doing myself. She helped me work on timelines, ensure I had all of my vendors set, and was instrumental in making my dream wedding come to life. I was complimented as being a very chill bride and I have to say that’s mostly in part to Paige and being so incredible at her job. We did so much work up front and she knew my vision so I was able to trust her and watch it all come to life. The food itself is also incredible. Not only will the food and drinks taste amazing, but also the presentation of them is something your guests will rave about. To be greeted by the apple cider station (with the option to spike it) was a huge hit and great way to introduce our guests to our big day. The cocktail hour ran super smoothly and the food was a huge hit. I have never seen a larger piece of steak at a wedding reception and it was just as good as our tasting experience. One thing I was also very excited about was our cider donut wall. It was the perfect fall dessert for our guests to enjoy and also snag on their way out. Also shout out to Sarah from the catering staff who made sure the bride and groom’s glasses were always full, we never had to go to the bar for a drink or food. I cannot recommend this caterer enough. I promise you will be in the best of hands and your guests will be blown away by the experience. If you book A Thyme to Cook, know that you’re getting much more than a caterer, you’re getting a vendor that will help walk you through the entire process and it’s worth every penny.

Made our wedding dreams come true

A Thyme to Cook was fantastic to work with. They offer amazing food and really great communication throughout the whole process. What really sets them apart is their fantastic event coordination. We had Jessica as our event coordinator and we could not have loved working with her more! She is the sweetest human and so hardworking and talented. She really knows her stuff and was instrumental in our planning. Not only did she help with everything before the event and take our calls whenever we had questions, but she made the wedding day go so smoothly and made it stress-free for my husband and I. From setting up all the decor to ironing out logistics with other vendors to keeping the flow of the event moving at the right pace, she is an absolute rockstar. The guests raved about everything that A Thyme to Cook had to offer! The cocktails, the appetizers, the dinner, and dessert were all amazing. We got our cake from ATTC, too, and it was beautiful and delicious. The waitstaff and bartenders were awesome and fast. Would highly recommend ATTC for all your wedding needs from coordinating the day to all things food.

Perfect catering company

A Thyme to Cook truly exceeded all expectations and made the process for our wedding absolutely flawless. We had the great pleasure of working with Paige as our day of coordinator who could not have been better. From the tasting, to the email coordinating to the actual day of, Paige was exceptional. She made sure every detail was discussed and covered and was incredibly flexible and knowledgable in any and all of the different options or questions we had. The rest of the thyme to cook team was amazing. Day of, we found out that there was an issue with the film for the polaroid cameras we had bought and a team member from ATTC went to CVS for us and grabbed some which was above and beyond anything we expected. They also assign servers to the bride and groom to make sure we had a drinks in hand and a tray of appetizers to eat while we were taking photos and mingling with guests. The food was absolutely amazing. There was a large range of apps, desserts, and meals to choose from and everything was amazing. we got many compliments on the food from all our guests. The whole process was incredibly easy and stress free and I would definitely recommend any one working with them for their event!

Thorough and Flexible Caterer

From the moment we booked ATTC was so helpful! Our event coordinator, Paige, was amazing; constantly communicating and willing to work with us and make suggestions. We felt so prepared leading up to our wedding day! On our big day everything went so smoothly! Their large team made it look easy and all of the details were beautiful. A Thyme to Cook will make your wedding day dreams come true!

We knew right away that A Thyme to Cook was the perfect fit for us. We had the pleasure of working with Rachel. Rachel is an extremely gifted event coordinator that thinks of every detail, goes above and beyond for her couples, has extraordinary communication skills, and does it all with kindness! We originally planned our big day for October 2020 at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, but like most 2020 couples, we were forced to postpone to a later date. Hosting the biggest day of one's life is not easy in the best of circumstances, but throughout a global pandemic (with an international guest list)...well, that is another story! Rachel and the entire team at A Thyme to Cook could not have been more accommodating and understanding to our unique situation. They worked with us as we settled on a new date in October 2021. Rachel and her team have a way of making you feel like you are the only people in the entire world getting married. Rachel walked us through every detail and was always a calming force as we dealt with circumstances beyond our control. She is excellent in sharing her vast experience and knowledge and makes everything enjoyable. From menu selection, to liaising with other vendors, Rachel and the entire ATTC crew gave us an experience that will last a lifetime in our minds and hearts. The food was not only displayed like works of art, but it was fresh and delicious. Everything was seamless and surpassed our expectations. All of our guests were blown away by our wedding day, but we really know how hard Rachel worked to make it all possible. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend A Thyme to Cook!

We had the best experience working with a Thyme to Cook for our wedding catering at Saltwater Farm Vineyard! From start to finish everyone that we worked with was friendly, helpful and responsive, and the day-of team was wonderful. Our food and drink was a total hit, with so many highlights from oysters and bacon-wrapped scallops to signature cocktails and a gelato bar.

I cannot say enough good things about how accommodating the team was and how wonderful they made the wedding planning process. From delaying due to COVID, to gluten allergies, to ordering wine from our favorite vineyards, their can-do, problem solving attitude brought me and my now-husband tremendous peace of mind during a stressful time.

Our event coordinator Rachel L. was especially amazing to work with, both leading up to the wedding and day-of. I did not worry about one thing on my wedding day because I knew she was totally in tune with my vision and would address any issues that came up -- probably without me even knowing about them -- and she did exactly that! Her overall wedding expertise was SO helpful and valuable to me in the planning process and I am so glad that I got to work with her! Mike the bartender was also a big hit amongst my wedding guests :)

In addition to the wonderful team, the actual food and drink was out-of-this world! We had so much fun at our tasting and the quality of that food 100% transferred over onsite. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better. It was hard to pick my own entree choice because everything was so delicious! I also really appreciated that the team put thought into the vegan offering and that it was not just another generic pasta primavera.

When we told other vendors that we were working with A Thyme to Cook, they were thrilled, which is a huge stamp of approval from others in the industry. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else planning a wedding or other event, and hope that I get to attend future ATTC events down the road!

Flawless orchestration from beginning to end

A Thyme to cook knocked it out of the park for my daughters wedding. The appetizers were all delicious, bountiful and beautifully presented. The dinner was amazing! we had fresh cod and beef tenderloin on one plate and it was cooked perfectly for all 170 guests! Thanks to Chef Joe for creating an amazing menu. Amazing experience with A Thyme to Cook

My husband and I originally planned a wedding for June 2020 and immediately knew A Thyme To Cook was the best catering/event team to go with. From the first conversation, they tailored our menu to our budget and to the time of year. With COVID occurring 3 months prior to our wedding, ATTC pivoted with us to our next two dates which eventually ended up being July 11, 2021 at Saltwater Farm Vineyard. Along the way, ATTC was extremely communicative and Rachel, our coordinator, was incredible. She helped the last few weeks help make some critical design decisions and within budget. The day of the wedding could not have gone more smoothly and Rachel and the team at ATTC were incredible. The food was amazing, the service to all of our 150 guests and simply the fact that my husband and I were never without a drink or something in hand was truly phenomenal. We cannot recommend ATTC enough and will look to their team for any future events we have!

Attc is the best! 10/10 highly recommend!

Choosing your caterer is one of the most important decisions in wedding planning because they are basically the foundation of your wedding and with that being said, I cannot say enough amazing things about A Thyme To Cook! They set the tone of our entire wedding. From our first meeting at the cookery to the day of the wedding and everything in between, they exceeded every standard. There were so many small details that they covered that were so sweet and really stood out. Like our names being written outside the Cookery when we came for meetings and tastings and how everyone always made us feel welcomed and like a part of the family. The first time we sat down to discuss our menu, I remember being asked “What do you like to eat?” and from there we discussed all different food options and basically built a menu together rather than picking food out from a pre-selected menu like most places. I really enjoyed being able to create a custom menu with all the foods and desserts that we wanted. One of my favorite passed Hors d'oeuvres was beef and cheese empanada paired with a margarita shot! For Dinner, we had a Piccata style chicken, beef shoulder, and a vegetarian option. Honestly couldn't go wrong with any of those choices! Our dessert station was so fun- we had all different selections of mini desserts as well as the cake. Some of my favorites were the mini carrot cakes and flan presented in a little spoon! SO GOOD.
When you think of a caterer you think of just the food, but ATTC is so much more than that. Through ATTC we also got a Day of Coordinator (Lex) who from start to finish made our wedding vision come to life! We spent a lot of time working together especially when COVID threw us a huge curveball and we had to postpone a whole year. We made the decision pretty early on to postpone due to all of the uncertainty that was happening, but the one thing that was for sure was that Lex was there for us and helped make that transition as smooth as it could be. In the months leading up to the wedding there were still many things up in the air as far as restrictions, however Lex was always transparent and had everything squared away to make sure our wedding day would be perfect no matter what- AND IT WAS! During the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, we would have weekly phone calls to make sure everything was all set which helped me mentally feel so much more organized and prepared. I was even set up with an online account to do the seating chart and the floor plan which was so helpful.
The week before the wedding, we had our final walk through at the venue which was great because Lex knew where all the decorations and tables were going to go. She provided me with an itinerary list to make sure we received everything back at the end of the night-which we did.
Our wedding day was a dream!! We got to work with Mikaela on the actual day of the wedding and she made sure everything went according to plan. We even had our own Serving attendant who made sure we got the food and drinks we wanted the whole night especially while we were outside taking photos. All of our guests were raving about how amazing the food was too! Every wedding day detail you can think of, they had it covered and I am SO glad we went with them. I will always recommend A Thyme To Cook especially if you’re looking for organization, professionalism, and most importantly delicious food!!!!

Dream Wedding Vendor

ATTC was a DREAM to work with. We are a covid couple and we had the opportunity to work this vendor twice. On our original wedding date in 2020 we had the team do our "tasting" which was an intimate dinner with just our immediate family (10 people) at our private residence. We had all the apps and dinner choices we had originally planned for our day since our traditional tasting was canceled. The team made us feel like royalty! They were so so accommodating, and the day start to finish was so perfect. Fast forward to 2021, we had a larger celebration at Jonathan Edwards Winery and ATTC was 10/10 again. Our guests are still talking about how delicious the dinner/dessert was.

Not all vendors were good to their couples during the pandemic but those that were stuck out big time and I will recommend this company over and over and over again! You get a full package with this vendor, much more than just a catering company. They were the point person for majority of our vendors which was a huge help.

We worked with Liz, she brought our vision to life and had a smile on her face the entire time. She understood our budget and worked with us on our options for all the details of the day. I had complete trust in her! I hope to be able to plan something else with this team in the future :)

If you're considering hiring A Thyme To Cook - do it! We looked at several caterers for our wedding in September 2019 and I am so grateful we decided to spend the extra money and go with ATTC. Their immaculate quality, outstanding customer service and precise attention to detail are second to none.

Their office is located on the most gorgeous property in the woods in an old farmhouse building that is beautifully decorated. This serves as a good representation of what you can expect from them. From the minute I walked in the door I was treated like I was the most important person in the room. Juli took great care to find out exactly what we were looking for and how they would be able to adapt a menu to match our vision. They even had a sign outside the front door to welcome me, personalized with my name...! I was sold.

Once we made the easy decision to hire them, I was introduced to an absolute angel of a wedding coordinator, Liz. Liz is patient, organized and experienced. Her relaxed demeanor made it so easy to have a casual conversation about what we wanted. When we had our first meeting, they provided a delectable assortment of scones and berries with citrus mint flavored water which took my breath away. The royal treatment did not stop there. When we came in for our tasting, they sat us at a private table for two where we tasted all of the items that would be on our dinner menu. I can genuinely say, the meal we had on the night of our wedding was entirely consistent with what we had during that tasting. Bold, unique flavors that some of our guests said was the best they'd ever had.

ATTC was incredibly accommodating and I always felt like they completely understood my vision. I don't think they said "no" to anything we asked for. In fact, I'm pretty sure there is nothing they can't do. Their chefs worked with us to create new menu items that fit our theme and even offered their own creative ideas which we of course took. On the day of the wedding we were absolutely stunned by the decor. They completely nailed our Sicilian theme, even more so than I could have even imagined. Liz was there every step of the way and they even assigned us a designated assistant who made sure my husband and I had whatever we needed throughout the night. I've never experienced that level of attention to detail and I doubt I ever will again. A Thyme To Cook is the epitome of "5 star service."

I cannot say enough about how amazing A Thyme To Cook was for our wedding! From beginning to end, they made sure to cover every single detail, and went out of their way to ensure that our special day was smooth and perfect.
Liz was our wedding coordinator, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was in constant contact with us, and worked closely with our rental company to make sure everything was all set, which helped to take some of the load off of us. She made the entire process so easy, and took so much stress off of our planning. Liz was fantastic and we truly could not have done it without her!
The day of our event we had a personal attendant, Tammy, who was perfect. Before walking down the aisle, she was there to make sure my dress was just right. The entire night, it was like she could read our minds. She was there for us with drinks, food, and kept us on track. She brought us hors d'ouevres and drinks while we were away taking photos during cocktail hour, and always made sure that we ate and enjoyed our dinner before the craziness of the reception.
The food was so amazing, and everyone raved about it! Liz listened to all of our food requests, contributed some of her own, and the chefs created the most delicious food. Everything was so tasty, and beautifully prepared.
I recommend A Thyme to Cook to anyone planning a wedding or any catered event. They were organized, above and beyond helpful, and the food was amazing. Thank you for everything!

Best decision we made

Let me begin by saying choosing ATTC for my wedding caterer was the best decision we made for our weekend. I knew immediately after talking to Juli that ATTC was for me - the team was so detail oriented, listened to our vision, and had top notch service. Liz was our Event Coordinator and I can't say enough good things about her. She truly made the wedding day SEAMLESS, stress free, and very enjoyable for us. Nothing fell through the cracks, she was super responsive, and helped guide me through everything. The day of could not have gone smoother, the team at our venue was incredible as they made sure we were constantly being looked after and everything was neatly packed up after which took a huge load off our families. Also the most important part - the food was incredible. Our guests are still raving about the meals, hordevours, and service (and so are we!!!). Huge thanks to ATTC, Liz, and the staff, and they will be recommended to anyone I know getting married.

Played such a big/important/wonderful role on our wedding day!

Meaghan and the rest of the team were truly amazing to work with! Starting from the first time we met, we could tell how genuine they were in wanting to make our day exactly what we were looking for. The tasting was so much fun and they really care about making all of the food special and unique to the couple. We live in London and said we wanted to do an ode to that, so they came up with two versions of a scotch egg, which we got to taste test and pick which one we wanted. They are so creative and I can't emphasize enough just how delicious all of the food was! On the day of the wedding, they kept us on our timeline and were incredibly organized-it was a HUGE help and so comforting to know they were there by our side the whole day and night to make sure everything ran smoothly. They always made sure we had food and drinks and would always check in with us at the perfect times. They truly make your wedding stress free and so easy which really allows you to just have fun and enjoy every moment! We also got tons of compliments on our food, and seriously the best we have ever had at a wedding-everything was timely, warm and delicious. Everything is so fresh and local! Can't recommend highly enough and wish we could do it all over again! :)

The best decision we made was hiring A Thyme to Cook

The best decision we made in planning our wedding celebration was hiring A Thyme To Cook. From the beginning, they took time to understand our vision and needs, and at every step of the way made sure that we were going to have the event that was right for us. Meaghan was our coordinator and could probably plan the Oscars without a hitch...she was a total dynamo. She was accessible, friendly, detail-oriented, and thoughtful. She made sure our rentals went smoothly and were the right ones, worked with our venue and musicians to coordinate details, and she arranged for a perfect menu and details that we couldn’t have arrived at without her. She was responsive to questions and ideas, and also instilled so much trust that there was zero stress in working with her. On the day of our celebration, everything went absolutely smoothly, the staff was delightful, and the food was delicious! 6 out of 5 stars!!!

Amazing food & so great to work with!

I can't rave about A Thyme to Cook, and specifically Meaghan who we worked with, enough. We had some very specific requests around the cuisine for our wedding - my husband is Indian and we wanted to incorporate Indian food - and the chefs were happy to iterate on the dishes with us. Our guests ended up giving rave reviews. We also ended up making a bunch of last minute changes to our plan due to our guest counts being different than expected - Meaghan was so great about that, and gave me really helpful advice about what could be done. In the end, everything was as we envisioned it but somehow so much better. We didn't have to worry about a thing, everything ran so smoothly, and we could just enjoy the day. Not to mention actually taste the food, since ATTC has a designated server to make sure the bride and groom eat! Also a tip for any brides struggling to choose a wedding favor like I was - we ended up having ATTC make cookies as our take-home favor and they were beyond amazing!

Outstanding Service for Our Vintage 1920's and 30's Wedding

We got married at Eolia Mansion mansion on May 26, 2019 this past spring and were elated to find that A Thyme to Cook was so renewed, yet just as affordable as many of the other 6 caterers required by our state-owned venue to choose from. They helped us work with our budget to come up with a delicious menu we were very happy with. Our guests are STILL telling us how amazing the food was! We had Liz as our day-of coordinator, who was friendly, fun and hard working. We can't recommend their services enough!

Amazing/Creative food and Great Service!

A Thyme to Cook catered our wedding at a private residence and we simply could not have pulled it all together without them. From the initial survey, when ATTC asked for our favorite restaurants, experiences, types of food, etc. to the tasting, to helping coordinate all many vendors, to the day itself, ATTC provided the highest level of service and creativity. We told ATTC we wanted to highlight different places we had lived and important parts of our backgrounds in our menu and they created hors d'oeuvres and stations that did that and worked together. We had made a special request but at the tasting we all realized it would be too difficult to pull off so ATTC came up with a different (also amazing) option. We were so glad they were realistic with us about what was possible. Our coordinator Liz was such a pleasure to work with, and basically served as our de facto wedding planner for the early months, coordinating many different vendors (tent, rentals, fancy porta-potty). She was responsive and funny and all around great! Most importantly, the food was truly delicious. Everyone raved about the lobster chip, mini half smoke, and mini pastrami sandwich hors d'oeuvres and the New Zealand meat pie stations. ATTC also assigns an attendant to the bride and groom, which allows you to actually eat all the delicious food you've selected. Unlike many friends who say you don't get to eat at your own wedding, I think we ate more than anyone else because of their service. Book ATTC - you will not regret it.

Above and Beyond

It is hard to even put into words how happy we were that we chose ATTC for our catering service, particularly because it feels like they were so much more than simply that. They provided not only the most delicious food (we are still getting compliments almost a month later!), but made sure every last detail of the day was perfect and stress-free so that we could enjoy the day itself! From coordinating our rentals and helping with other vendors, to designing and creating beautiful details, and even making sure that we had drinks on the dance floor all night long, ATTC went above and beyond every step of the way!

From the moment we reached out to ATTC, they were extremely responsive and helpful. Their professionalism was apparent and they even went so far as to research specific food trucks and glassware that we expressed interest in right off the bat! One of my favorite things about ATTC is that they are not like other catering services where you simply choose from a given menu. Instead, they listen to your food favorites (like late-night chicken nuggets and fries) and ideas and create an entire menu tailored to you. They are realistic and up front about the cost of specific things and help you create a menu that is within your budget. For example, we imagined a cheese/meat station during cocktail hour, but instead opted for an unbelievable bruschetta bar, per their suggestion. They are flexible as you go through the process of creating and finalizing the menu, as well. They are truly there to make sure your day is all that you want it to be and meets all of your needs!

Another thing I loved about ATTC is that they match you with an in-house coordinator to help you out with the process, vendors, and day of details. We were matched with Meaghan and we couldn't have been luckier! Meaghan answered seemingly endless emails and texts, and even an hour long phone call to make sure that every last detail was perfect...all while planning HER OWN wedding. She was patient, kind, and always reassuring. Meaghan has the ability to make you feel like you are simultaneously the only wedding she is coordinating with her attention and detail and the thousandth wedding she has done with her confidence and execution. I am the first to say that I was a "type A" bride, so letting go of control and allowing others to put things together on the wedding day itself wasn't easy for me. However, I felt 100% confident that Meaghan and her team would bring our vision to life and they knocked it out of the park. Every single thing was impeccably designed and beautifully done- more than I ever could have imagined! In addition to being an amazing coordinator, Meaghan became a true friend along the way and made the entire process feel personal and comfortable.

Along with the design and details of the day itself, the entire ATTC staff was outstanding in terms of service. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we actually ate on the big day! Tammy, our designated attendant for the bride/groom on the day of, greeted us immediately after walking down the aisle after the ceremony with our signature drinks and even brought over a tray of appetizers while we finished up photos. My husband and I wanted to take a minute before joining cocktail hour to reset before the chaos of the night, and we went to the bridal suite to find a tray of appetizers (a few of everything- including the bruschetta bar!), waters, and drinks delivered by Tammy herself. She made sure we ate our dinners, enjoyed our night, and even found us on the dance floor every time we didn't have drinks in our hand! She was just the best!

Clearly, I could go on forever about ATTC, but if you have made it this far, know that you CANNOT go wrong with them! I wish that there was an option for more stars, because 5 just is not enough to encapsulate all that they do and how well they do it. They are so much more than just a catering company and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding truly the best day ever!

Personalized Perfection

There are not enough stars to represent how pleased we were with A Thyme to Cook. From our first inquiry, we were impressed with their timely responses and their commitment to making our wedding day special and personalized. Before we officially booked with them, they even contacted a food truck on our behalf to determine pricing for a late night snack! After officially booking, we were assigned Meaghan as our wedding coordinator. She replied promptly and thoughtfully to my (many) questions and always made me feel like our wedding was her priority (even though I know she was working on 23980 other weddings). They worked diligently to create our wedding menu from scratch- this is not a vendor with boring standard wedding pre-fix options! The day of, Meaghan and the ATTC team ensured everything ran smoothly and that my husband and I were not bothered with wedding day details. Somehow, Meaghan coordinated getting 3 cases of wine out of my husbands car without either of us being bothered. ATTC even sent a staff person out mid-wedding to purchase more seltzer because our guests liked it so much. It was not until after the wedding that I became aware of these small (but important) details that they seamlessly organized. This allowed my husband and I to enjoy our day, which I truthfully feel was Meaghan and ATTC's priority. In addition to all the perfect coordinating, the food was AMAZING (and we actually got to eat it because ATTC provides a designated attendant to the wedding couple who takes care of things that couples usually forget to do). Many of our guests raved that it was the best wedding food they ever had, and my husband and I agree. If you are feeling apprehensive of the cost of ATTC, please know that the food, service, support, coordinating, care, and attention to detail are worth twice as much as they charge. The services they provided are the reason our wedding was perfect (in our totally non-biased opinion). And they dont add a bunch of fees on later, which is out of the ordinary for wedding vendors :) LOVE LOVE LOVE ATTC and wish we could get married every day over and over with their help!

Absolutely Amazing

If I could give ten stars I would! A Thyme to Cook did an amazing job catering our wedding in June--from start to finish everyone we worked with was so lovely, experienced, professional, and accommodating (shout out to Allison and Liz, who were so great!). I don’t even have words to describe how wonderful the food was--I wish I could go back in time and relive it. Everything was cooked fresh on site at our venue, which we found NO other vendors in the area do. The entire menu was customized to what we wanted, instead of just picked from a generic list of offerings. A Thyme to Cook also assigns a special attendant just for the wedding couple on the day of (we had Elizabeth!) to make sure that we got to try every last thing on the menu and that we always had a drink in our hands. They also catered my bridal shower, which was just as great. I am so, so glad that we chose ATTC as our caterer, there just isn’t anyone better out there.

From the first meeting with Juli to the final send-off from Brian, ATTC made sure every detail of our wedding was perfectly planned and taken care of. They took the time to get to know us and based on what we wanted for the day they perfectly created a delicious menu that our guests could not stop raving about. Our coordinator Brian made sure that our personalities shined thru in every detail, from the signature cocktail to the schedule of the day. ATTC made our wedding everything we could ask for.

Where do I even begin with ATTC? Our venue had 4 preferred caterers and ATTC was one of them. They were actually a preferred vendor at many of the places we were researching. So I will say they had a leg up from the start…We inquired seriously with them and one additional caterer. The original consult with Juli was absolutely amazing! It was like an hour talking with an old friend about the foods we liked and didn’t like, our favorite restaurants, what kind of food we were looking for…The resulting proposal was nothing short of amazing! Not only did they capture the essence of us in food, it was the most stunningly beautiful quote package. It was presented like a beautiful menu and customized to our venue. Once signing, we were assigned to Meaghan as our day-of-coordinator. She was wonderful throughout the entire process! She is truly one of the sweetest people and always happy to answer any questions we had! We met her in person at the tasting, which was so nice! Because they customize the menu to their couples, it was just the two of us and Meaghan eating delicious food! She even coordinated the napkins to our wedding colors! She was so patient while I was super indecisive about linens. She even came to our final venue walk through so she could be there with us so everyone was on the same page with final details. Day of, I was comforted knowing she was just a text away! Her and the rest of the ATTC staff were so attentive and helpful! Our day-of attendant Tammi always made sure we had food and drinks! She literally guided us to our table so we would be forced to eat once dinner was served. It probable goes without saying, but the food was simply amazing! It was even more delicious than I remembered at our tasting. Book them NOW!

I honestly don't even know where to begin with singing the praises of ATTC! When we booked our wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, we knew we only had three choices of caterers--one didn't return our call, one seemed good but didn't excite us, and the other was ATTC. We were instantly favoring ATTC and expected them to come back with the highest price, especially since the amazing Juli took so much time with us via email and over the phone (even going so far as to look up the menus of the restaurants we said were our favorite!) to craft our perfect menu before we'd even given them a dime. We also really wanted to prioritize sourcing local and seasonal ingredients for our wedding feast and ATTC is a certified green caterer. Just our luck, they actually came back the most affordable (the fact that they provide a day-of coordinator meant we could also save money on that line item) so we signed on the dotted line as fast as possible :) Or coordinator changed a few times over the year plus we worked with them, but all for understandable reasons, and all were amazing to work with. Meaghan ended up being our ultimate coordinator and is the picture of professionalism. She made herself available on email, the phone, and even text whenever we needed and always had answers for our questions or found them out exceedingly fast. We were so confident in the weeks leading up to the wedding that we'd be able to throw her things and she'd just be able to handle them (and she also followed all specific directions to a T). The day of our wedding, the ATTC team far exceeded our expectations. Guests told us the salad was the best they'd ever had (wedding or not) and the fact that the chefs grilled peaches and fried panko crusted goat cheese for us per our request really left an impression. Our guests also raved about the main courses of short rib cooked in SFV wine, poached cod, and cauliflower steaks. And how can I forget about the cocktail hour!?! A Thyme to Cook (ATTC) is on top of their game in EVERY sense of the word! The extreme flexibility and willingness to accommodate our every wish (no matter how challenging) was met with an absolute 'can do' attitude and the execution on the day of our event was flawless! And, if you're wondering ...the hors d'oeuvres, cocktail stations, meal and desserts were both brilliantly and artistically prepared and absolutely delicious. Our guests were raving about the meal all night long (and they still are). The meal was only overshadowed by the attentiveness and professionalism of the ATTC Team - true professionals (shout out to Tori for being awesome). We could not have been more please with A Thyme to Cook from start to finish. Their attention to detail is surpassed by no one. From our initial meeting to the day of, the entirety of the staff was very accommodating and always happy to help or answer any questions we had.

The food quality and execution matched perfectly to what we had at our tasting. They turned out 120 meals with flawless execution.

The additional bonus of having a wedding planner for the day of as part of the package was extremely helpful and allowed us to focus on our guests and ourselves instead of getting caught up in the details.

Very pleased and would recommend them to anyone looking to do not just a wedding; any type of event!

My new husband and I just had the most wonderful wedding at Tyrone Farm. We had it catered by A Thyme to Cook and could not have been happier. Juli helped put together the most incredible wedding. She completely understood my vision and did everything possible to make it come true. Not only did she coordinate much of the wedding details and help me with decisions, she put together the most delicious menu. My husband is VERY particular about his food and loves cooking, so definitely not an easy task, but ATTC did a wonderful job and we are so thrilled with the entire evening.

We were married at Eolia Mansion st Harkness Park in July and Megan and the entire staff at A Thyme To Cook were simply amazing. Megan was there to handle every task and request we had, however big or small, enthusiastically and was always so sweet, helpful and kind. She was there throughout the planning process and helped with her opinions when I was overwhelmed with decisions. She made sure our day was perfect and ran smooth so we wouldn't have to worry. The food was outstanding- we still have guests saying it was "the best sea bass they have ever eaten" and the custom menu they came up with was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a romantic, vintage, glamorous wedding and that is exactly what we got. Thank you Megan and the whole team at ATTC for making our dream wedding come true!!

If I could give more stars I would! ATTC was beyond incredible. Not only were they amazing to work with-the food and service were exquisite. Upon first consult, Juli (their Director of Wedding Sales) called and spoke with me for over an hour gathering information about my husband and I's favorite foods-what we liked for 'drunk munchies', what we ate when we splurged, favorite comfort foods, favorite sweets, EVERYTHING-and then literally created a menu that included all of those components-if there was one thing that was truly 'us' that day, it was our menu. Everything that was most delicious to us based on the information was on that menu. Believe it or not, it gets better! Not only did we get the menu we wanted (and within our budget) we also had an Event Coordinator-Megan Costello-Rodriguez included with the total cost. Megan is extraordinary. Megan put me at ease throughout the whole process and not only assured me things would be ok and everything I wanted them to be, she followed through on her words and made sure it happened. Her demeanor, professionalism and attention to detail are impeccable. I gave her our vendor information when it became too much for me to try and organize things, and she took over and handled things seamlessly. She reached out to vendors to ensure everything was coordinated exactly as I wanted it to be. She was available whenever I needed her, came out for our rehearsal, and then kicked me out of my own bedroom and finished tying bows on our welcome boxes and alphabetizing place cards (little details I was determined to do myself) so that I could go be part of our dinner post rehearsal.

I believe you get what you pay for and I can tell you ATTC and having Megan as our Event Coordinator was worth every.single.penny! Thanks to Megan and ATTC staff I had the memorable and legendary wedding I wanted. People are still talking about the whole day and I know they will for quite some time-that would not be possible without ATTC!

If you don't hire these people, you are making a mistake. My wedding was PERFECT and it would not have been possible without ATTC, specifically Megan who is a genius. This is in no way a hyperbole. I plan events for a living and these people had it HANDLED. They moved my entire wedding indoors after it started to rain in less than five minutes. Also the food is ridiculously good. My family has some seriously complicated food allergies and they managed to somehow make a full, lush, obscenely delicious, locally sourced (seriously) menu that everyone was obsessed with. Also, included in the package is an attendant who keeps food and drinks coming to you all night, which I didn't realize would actually be necessary until my actual wedding event. Without them I probably wouldn't have had one drink or bite to eat all night. AND! The price is super reasonable. The estimate fell right in the middle of the catering options we looked at. We used A Thyme to Cook for our wedding at Harkness Memorial State Park and to put it simply they were AMAZING! From the start they were always prepared and helped us with parts of our wedding we did not even think about. The food was incredible, we received endless compliments on the food and that was the one part of the wedding we were willing to splurge on because when one goes to a wedding they always remember the food. After everything was booked we were assigned a wedding coordinator Megan was ours. She was a LIFESAVER, especially as our wedding grew closer and we became more stressed ,she stepped in and was able to calm us. During the end of the wedding she offered to drive my parents car up to the mansion and loaded it full of everything from the pergola we made to all the center pieces and the top of our wedding cake. We were also assigned Abby for the day of and her entire job was to make sure we were fed, had drinks in our hands and was willing to go get anything for us (this was not small feat since we had a wedding party of 14). She was not intrusive and always arrived at the perfect time. In terms of vendors for Harkness that you can choose A Thyme to cook was not the the cheapest option but it was worth the the extra money to make sure our wedding day was memorable and ran smoothly.

They are the best caterers and wedding planners! They help guide you into making your vision of a wedding or event real with sound advice. Their service comes with a wedding coordinator that is hugely helpful since most of their clients are not experts (myself included). I'm sure I was difficult to deal with as it got closer to my wedding and I began to stress, but Megan never faltered and her professionalism showed every step of the way. She was even there as I was coming down the stairs to make the entrance for my wedding ceremony when I felt my long veil get caught on something and all I heard was Megan's voice quietly saying "I got it" and she did and I was still able to make my entrance without anyone noticing. They are simply the best and the food is truly fantastic (and they believe as strongly as I do in not having dry chicken)!

They were very organized and understood how to orchestrate all of the festivities in our venue. The food was amazing! Our guest said that this was the best wedding food that they have had. ATTC is amazing to work with. They worked with us to create a custom menu that exceeded all of expectations. Their food is absolutely delicious, but they are so much more than a caterer. They worked with us to plan all of the details in the months leading up to the big day. They reached out to all of our other vendors ahead of time and ran the show for us the day of the wedding and because of them, we had the perfect day. Megan was our coordinator and she was AMAZING. She truly cared about our wedding and making sure we were taken care of. Not only did they ensure that we were able to eat our dinner, but we were actually able to relax and enjoy every minute of the day because of ATTC's incredible team. I cannot recommend them enough. A Thyme to Cook catered our Eolia Mansion wedding at Harkness State Park and we couldn't be happier with our decision! Our wedding guest could not stop raving about how great the food and service were. Linda helped guide us through every part of our menu making sure we offered the perfect balance of our favorite flavors from the appetizers to the main dinner. Megan was our event coordinator and she was amazing!! She helped us every step of the way, and handled all of the details (even the ones I hadn't thought of!). The day of the wedding was (for the most part) stress free thanks to A Thyme to Cook, and we were able to just relax and celebrate with our family and friends. From the first meeting to the final minutes of our wedding they were wonderful and easy to work with, and I would recommend them to everyone!!!

A Thyme to cook stands above the rest in my opinion. We met with 3 different caterers and they by far gave you the most value for your money! However, it was just not the money. Linda Sample runs a top notch business and surrounds herself with top notch employees who all work together to make you feel like you are their only client at the time. Their attention to detail is amazing and their response time to questions asked were always timely. We owe a debt of gratitude to Linda, Juli and Kristi along with all of the great staff we had the day of the wedding for looking effortless in displaying, presenting and servicing our daughter's wedding. The food was amazing!! I highly recommend them for any occasion!

Book them! It was a pleasure to work with ATTC, and I highly recommend them! From our first encounter with Laurel, to Patti, the office staff, chefs, and servers - all were professional and personable. We received excellent customer service. We appreciated the extras that came along, like taking care of all the table decorations, setting up the chairs and the bridal couple's personal server. (I wish we'd had had one at our wedding.) The food was delicious, and we received many compliments about it. It was the best wedding food we've ever had!

My husband and I worked with Julie, Lexi, and Fiona to plan our wedding in three months. They are both professional and creative and manage to perform as much behind the scenes magic as possible on your special day. They listened to both of us and created a menu based on our story. They also took care of details at our wedding, that even we, had not anticipated. Oh yeah, the food is great too. We couldn't have been happier with choosing A Thyme to Cook for our wedding. We worked with Gina as our coordinator, and she was absolutely FANTASTIC. We had a very particular vision for our wedding, and Gina and the chefs did everything they could to make it happen, and it turned out perfectly. It's a month later, and we're still hearing about how wonderful the food was! The staff on the day of the wedding was amazing - I had people tell me over & over again that there was no way I was going to get to eat, and how they never even had a drink at their reception because they were so busy - but Gina and the ATTC staff didn't let that happen! We had a wonderful waitress who brought us appetizers and drinks whenever we needed them, checking in with us all night.

I would absolutely recommend A Thyme to Cook to any couple looking for the best food and service Southeastern Connecticut has to offer!

I got married at a vineyard in Stonington and got to choose between two caterers. I knew immediately which one I was going to use. A Thyme to Cook has that farm to table outlook on food, which I knew would provide the best ingredients, service and really be different than typical "banquet" food. I wanted my guests to actually look back and think it wasn't just good wedding food, it was good restaurant quality food. That is exactly how it turned out! They did an absolutely perfect Beef Tenderloin (which got rave reviews from my guests) and a phenomenal seasonal Halibut, plus the sides were amazing too. For dessert, I had a few small desserts plus they did a really stunning and tasty small wedding cake for us as well. Not only was the food exceptional, but so was the service. Everyone was professional and knowledgable. Not sure how many on-call servers they had, but you really couldn't tell, everyone there felt like staff.

I also want to mention Juli who was my event coordinator. She was exceptional! I felt like I was in such great hands with her. With a full-service catering company, they really are the wedding planners and handle EVERYTHING. The rentals, timeline, you name it. The crates and trays they used were also perfect for my wedding decor and helped bring it to life. Juli listened to what I wanted and really delivered. I really loved ATTC and would recommend them to anyone!

Thyme to Cook was amazing from the beginning of our planning to the very end of the wedding. We had our wedding at Harkness State Park/Eolia Mansion. This venue allows three approved caterers. One who didn't return our inquiry, another that did not provide much information unless you actually booked them, and Thyme to Cook who displays a welcome sign with your name when you arrive for your initial consultation. They were welcoming, attentive, and helped with planning all of the details. Food was outstanding. They will work the menu within your budget. I have Celiac disease and they had no problem accommodating gluten free cake (which was out of this world) and food. We went for the cake tasting (which we thought maybe we didn't need to, but OMG do not miss this--so many samples of everything they can offer! They even had a gluten free option for me to try). Both head chefs (Rachael and Joe) were present during the tasting to explain options and food pairing. Juli was our coordinator and she goes above and beyond with detail and coordinating. This catering company is the best, I recommend them all the way!!! Nothing but good things to say.

Gina & the whole A Thyme to Cook staff were incredible to work with. They helped to create our wedding day vision & were supportive, enthusiastic, responsive and incredibly organized the whole way through. The food and drinks they created were among the best our guests reported ever having at a wedding event & everything was done with such beauty and perfection!! It poured rain at our outdoor tented wedding reception (which we look back on & think was very unique and special!) but, Gina and her staff were right there getting soaking wet while walking out guests to the tent one by one with umbrellas. A Thyme to Cook thought of every detail & gave us literally no reason to stress or worry on our wedding day. We cannot recommend them enough. I don't even know where to begin because A Thyme to Cook was so amazing. Juli was our coordinator and we couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. Despite having a very complicated wedding site, Juli and the rest of the staff worked very hard behind the scenes to ensure that our day went smoothly. Juli handled everything from talking and coordinating with our other vendors to ensuring our rentals were secured and delivered (a huge relief for me). The food was incredible too and having our own waitstaff ensured that we actually ate at our wedding!! Our wedding day was truly perfect and we owe so much of it to A Thyme to Cook. They went above and beyond the call of duty. I can't imagine enlisting anyone else's help in coordinating and catering the most special day of our lives. I can't say enough good things about A Thyme to Cook. The food and the service was EXCEPTIONAL, and I really mean that. Juli was our coordinator and she was incredible. She was able to answer any question that I had and offer some excellent suggestions. The day of the wedding we were provided was a "personal" assistant who made sure that our wedding party had enough to eat and drink. This was a great touch! The best part was the food, WOW! Although I did not get to eat much since I was the bride, looking around not a single plate had food left on it. It was absolutely delicious. I loved that we were able to do a mixed plate (6oz salmon and 6oz steak) rather than giving people options. This sped up the dinner process and people loved it anyway! If you are looking for something unforgettable that your guests will love and rave about, a thyme to cook is definitely worth it!

Amazing caterers! Thyme to Cook goes above and beyond wedding food. Everything they cooked was scrumptious and succulent. Everything was cooked on site which made it fresh and delicious! Everyone we worked with at Thyme to Cook was incredibly helpful and offered great suggestions. Not only did they plan and execute the food for our wedding but they also acted as day-of wedding planners and consultants. Everything ran smoothly and as the bride, I was never once asked to fix a problem during the wedding. They took care of my husband and I and all of our guests. Wonderful to work with!

I highly recommend this company. Not only was the food seasonal, unique, and delicious, but the staff was amazing. Amy was out coordinator and went above and beyond the call of duty - when our ceremony chairs got rained all they all wiped them off for us and changed are luminaries because they were soaked. A thyme to cook did a great job catering to our many requests and feeding lots of people while still making fantastic food. Our guests raved about the food saying they never expect good food at a wedding and they were really blown away. A thyme to cook was able to create a great menu that was unique to our tastes and finished off the night with a variety of delicious pies. In addition to the wonderful food, Linda was able to help us out as much as possible in terms of back of the house details and bringing everything together on the weekend of the wedding.

A Thyme to Cook was an absolute joy to work with. My husband and I got married over the summer at a location that requires you to bring in all of your own vendors- catering, entertainment, rentals, etc. We had the luxury of being able to choose a caterer and we were THRILLED that we went with A Thyme to Cook. From the first phone consultation we had, they were extremely kind and professional and treated us like we were important and not just another event on their busy schedule. They allowed us to be very creative with our menu- marrying our ideas with theirs and even came up with a dessert for us that included favorite flavors of my husbands. We are self-proclaimed "foodies" or "food enthusiasts", so we didn't want run of the mill wedding food & they definitely delivered. I still dream about some of the hors d'oeuvres...

Gina was lovely to work with- very calm and sweet with lots of wonderful ideas. Doug was our coordinator on the day of and he absolutely KILLED it. He completely took over on the day of the wedding- making sure all the vendors were where they needed to be, setting up the venue, wrangling the guests.. he did it all. After planning the entire day myself, I handed everything over to him two days prior and I had not a single worry in the world. ATTC transformed the venue into a magical place beyond what I could have ever imagined. I was literally in awe when we pulled up to the venue. Everyone says that you won't have time to eat at your wedding- but you will if ATTC is catering. When one of the stations in cocktail hour was about to run out, Doug made a plate and ran it over to me. We also had a waitperson assigned to us at the reception- named Michaela- who was fantastic. Every time I turned around, my husband and I had exactly what we needed! On a related note- I have worked for catering companies for several years- good and bad- and it was very clear that the staff was enjoying themselves. That definitely says a lot about the company. All I can say is that if you really want to have a special event, you can't go wrong with ATTC!

I may sound like I am gushing, but: A Thyme to Cook created the perfect wedding reception for us. It was not a huge party but everything was absolutely perfect. For one, they came a long way, it seems, to cover the event. The food was delicious, and locally sourced/grown as possible. Cooked there on the spot (outside).The staff was professional and kind. This catering company was wonderful!! The attention to detail and personal service was wonderful. David and the staff that helped us in the days before our wedding, as well as the wedding day, were excellent!! Our guests RAVED about the food. I saw a friend of mine yesterday, and she said " I still think about that deliscious salmon that we had at your wedding." I do too! I was fully at ease knowing on my wedding day, and it was thanks to A Thyme to Cook!!

A Thyme to cook were absolutely impeccable. We wanted to have our Rehearsal Dinner at our home considering almost all of our guest came from out of town. So with a little rearranging of some furniture we had A Thyme to cook transform part of our finished basement into a kitchen. I cant say enough about how wonderful the food and staff were. I wanted to have a Thanksgiving like feel considering we dont get to spend Thanksgiving with all of our families. I wanted roasted turkey with gravy and kelbasi and saurkraut and mashies and gravy & stuffing and a wonderful salad...and the veggies were the best roasted medley of brussel sprouts and squash and others. The turkey was the most amazing turkey all of us have ever eaten. Our hordovers were mini cheeseburgers, mini hot dogs, and mini Lobster rolls. They were amazing too...everything made from scratch, nothing frozen. Fresh rolls too....I can't wait to have another event for them to caterer. Lauren our Event Manager was wonderful and didnt miss a step. They are absolute professions, and worth every penny.

A Thyme to Cook is one-stop-shop! Not only is their food local and beyond delicious, they also bake and give you your own wedding planner! Our wedding planner, Megan, was wonderful, helpful and responsive. There was a bit of a delay in response and communication the beginning, but it was resolved immediately and never had any other issues thereafter.

The tasting is at their quaint facility, and they even made that super special. It was a beautiful day when we arrived so they had a bistro table set up outside where we spoke with Julie, the sales manager, about our wedding and ate a delicious meal. Each course brought out by the chef himself and explained to us.

Everyone at our wedding made a point to tell us how delicious the food was, including the fancy vegetarian option and beautifully decorated cupcakes. One of our guests also told me that she had used these guys in the past and how they're "the real deal", and she happens to be familiar with the restaurant business.

We had our wedding at the Stamford Museum, and A Thyme to Cook did an amazing job decorating the space. I was blown away when I walked in. I gave Megan a few of my own small decorations and showed her my vision (thank god for Pinterest), and they just ran with it and made it all come to life.

I HIGHLY recommend A Thyme to Cook. They may be a bit on the pricier side but you get your own planner which, believe me, you WILL want. From what I'm told, I'm the most organized, calm bride and I still couldn't see myself getting through it without Megan. Book 'em while they're still available!!

My husband and I both work in the industry of restaurants and catering, so when choosing a caterer, it was super important that the food be a reflection of us. Also, our guests had high expectations of the quality of the food - so the pressure was on! From the first interaction that we had with A Thyme to Cook, they were willing to work with us to create a menu to include everything we loved and more! On the day of our wedding, we were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff and the seamless service. The food was amazing and our guests were raving that it was all so delicious. It was a bountiful spread for a and really set the tone for our evening. I am already planning an anniversary party in my head and A Thyme to Cook would be the first phone call I make to ensure our party's success! Thank you A Thyme to Cook for everything!

A huge thank you to A Thyme to Cook for everything on Saturday, and leading up to the wedding day. My partner and I, and our families, could not have had a more joy-filled celebration. Your thoughtfulness and ability to ask questions and listen to what was important to us made planning a big event, something that is way out of our experience and comfort zones, manageable and fun. Our day was flawless

The quality of the food at a thyme to cook surpassed all of our expectations. Our guests still rave about it. Linda and Meaghan were flexible with us, as we were planning our wedding out of state. They would often rearrange their schedules to accommodate our phone conference times and were always willing to fit us in if we were visiting in town. They were a crucial part in our wedding planning; helping us organize the day of timeline, helping with our seating charts and making sure that all of the "fluff" and decor was set to perfection the day of so we did not have to worry about a thing. Overall A Thyme to Cook went above and beyond.

Catering is one of the most important things when planning your wedding – and can also be the most stressful! We knew we were in good hands with Juli, Lexie, and the Thyme to Cook team. They created a menu specifically for us that included food from our mixed heritages – and I can imagine it’s not easy to come up with a proper meal that has Jamaican, Jewish, and Italian influences! They were incredibly responsive during the planning process and very accommodating as we made changes to linens, alcohol, etc during the planning phase after we booked. The service the night-of was impeccable and our dedicated server, Nicole, was outstanding when she brought us hors d'oeuvres outside, in the rain, while we took photos. Everyone at ATTC works together to ensure you have a perfect night and they certainly delivered.

A Thyme To Cook catered our 9/26/2014 wedding at the Mansion at Harkness State Park, and we could not have been happier with their service, amazing attention to detail, and absolutely delicious food! Gina, our planner/coordinator, made sure every single detail of our wedding came to life; the serving staff was phenomenal and made sure we (bride and groom!) always had a drink and foot item in hand; the food was absolutely delicious and we have heard from many of our guests that our buffet-style salmon, chicken, mashed potato bar, and salad were some of the best they have ever had. This is HIGH praise for a catering company! We truly enjoyed our experience with A Thyme to Cook throughout the entire process, from our first meeting with them to our wonderful tasting, to the absolutely amazing hands-on service we received on our wedding day. When it came to choosing a caterer, we wanted one that would deliver the best food and the most attentive service for our guests, and A Thyme To Cook did both beyond expectations. We honestly were floored by their work. We can't thank Gina enough for paying such close attention to all of our requests and for honoring our vision so closely. I'm so happy to have had A Thyme to Cook be apart of our wedding. From the initial consult I was impressed with how well the staff asked questions about the food we liked and our personalities. They came up with a His and Hers cocktail hour based on the fact that I'm middle eastern and a foodie, and my Husband is a fast food lover. The passed hors' d'oeuvres were lamb meatballs, curry chicken over rice, chickpea fitters, and seared scallops. Then they made a station of mini-burgers, fries and a milkshake. It was adorable and such a great idea, all my guests loved it!

Also, this place is certainly not your run of the mill caterers, it is fairly pricey, to me it was worth it. Overall the food was delicious, especially the appetizers. For the main dish the steak was a little too well done for me and the chicken a bit dry...but everything was still great. This may be in part due to the fact that I was planning my wedding from Chicago/didn't have a wedding planner and was unable to devote the time to supervise this properly.

On a last minute trip home Sheri was able to coordinate a tasting with only 24 hours notice which was incredible! Seriously, she was wonderful and so accommodating.

The week of the wedding Sheri was just amazing, she was super organized and collected all the place-settings/decorations/etc at the walk-through so they could put them up the day of.

On our wedding day there were a couple bumps and we got off schedule. Sheri and Michelle were literally the only reason why I was able to eat the appetizers, take my pictures and make it the the reception and get back on schedule. I was able to enjoy the wedding so much because of their insane hard work. Also, my parents worry about everything and they were so blessed to have Sheri and Michelle there to calm them down and help with everything. I really appreciate how hard everyone worked to make the day so special. Thanks so much a Thyme to Cook!

We had our reception at Harkness State Park in Waterford CT in June 2011- they have a list of 6 caterers that they allow to cater at this location. After many tastings and meetings with caterers, we decided to go with A Thyme to Cook. We had the pleasure of working with Dave from the start- he was awesome! He was very attentive, he listened to our wedding ideas, gave advice and his professional opinion when asked, and was able to work within our budget constraints. He never pressured us for any "upgrades" and many times suggested some cost effective alternatives- clearly not just looking to "make money" off of us. The food was excellent and they went above and beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Dave was our "go-to" guy- all vendors went to him for directions, he totally ran the show, made everything seamless, and made himself available for whatever we needed. When one of the vendors neglected to show for our wedding(!!), Dave was right there with us (dealing with our full blown panic attack!), and suggested another company he has worked with to fill in. He had the number to the company and made the arrangements for us, so we didn't have to stress about it any longer, and the new vendor was perfect. The server assigned to us at the wedding was excellent- she was totally attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent- the only reason I gave the "quality of service" 4 stars was because I was told there were long lines at our reception for the food stations- some guests said they waited 30 minutes in line for food. Despite that, I felt this caterer was amazing, professional, and the food was excellent. Well worth the money!!

A Thyme To Cook catering was the best vendor at my wedding. Gina, my event coordinator at A Thyme to Cook, was unbelievable. I was a very opinionated bride who wanted everything JUST so- and she made it happen. She made my vision, her vision- and it seemed she didn't sleep until she had every detail ironed out for my wedding. Everything was so beautifully prepared, and the food was incredible. It's not often people go to a wedding a rave about the food- but I got SO many compliments about how creative, beautifully presented and delicious the food was at my wedding. The entire staff went out of their way to make our wedding day go as smoothly as possible- they were all so attentive, but when i think about my wedding day, i think about my husband and family and not about "the staff" being there- they were like little magic elves. I CANNOT recommend them ENOUGH!

A Thyme to Cook offered FABULOUS food at our wedding. The food came out on time, hot and exactly how my husband and I remembered it from our tasting. We worked with Lexie from A Thyme To Cook (ATTC) for our June, 2017 wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, CT. Lexie was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely professional, responsive and helpful in working with us to help us decide on and finalize our menu, linen and decor selections for our reception. Lexie was also very helpful when we designed our reception layout in helping us figure out what was practical vs. not, and coordinating with other rental vendors for chairs/tables/linens. In terms of food / beverage, we were very happy with the service and pleased wtih the food. Our guests had many complimements on our cocktail hour foods (quality/variety). We would happily recommend ATTC to anyone in the area planning an event & we would definitely recommend Lexie as a coordinator/ POC.

A Thyme to Cook was really incredible from start to finish. Gina was wonderful to work with, and she helped fulfill our dream wedding! The food was amazing, our guests are still raving about it! The staff that helped at our wedding were second to none. Gina was so professional and helpful to us, as our venue was not your typical place, and we had a lot of questions and some anxiety about how it was all going to turn out. Linda and her team at A Thyme to Cook were really great. They really know their stuff.
ATTC works Eolia Mansion at Harkness (our venue) all the time and I was relieved at how much Linda knew about the in's and out's. She made EVERYthing easier for us.
Linda was open to all of our ideas (local foods), allergies (my husband has a bunch), and quirks (popsicles instead of cake) and handled everything gracefully.

On the day of, she ensured everything was set up perfectly and as I had wished and everyone commented on how great the food was!

Be sure to ask her what time the bar closes. Due to CT state law, the bar had to close 30 min. or so prior to the end of the reception. I hadn't remembered ATTC telling me this, so guests were bummed when they were cut off. If I had known, I would have asked the DJ to make an announcement that "the bar was closing in 15 minutes" or something...

Excellent Food from A Thyme to Cook

Food can be an unremarkable part of a wedding celebration, but if you hire A Thyme to Cook, it won’t be! We heard time and time again from our guests how this was the best food they had had at a wedding, ever! The food was spectacular, and they were able to be incredibly accommodating to food allergies and dietary restrictions too. Chef Angela also worked with our florist to ensure the dried flowers she put on our wedding cake matched the florals of the wedding. They also were accommodating when it came to the bar, they let us source some of our own wine and replace it with some of the selections that were already a part of our package, and they were able to create some pretty spectacular His & Hers cocktails.

Delicious Food!

They say you remember food and music the most from weddings and 6 days later our guests are still raving about the food! We knew we wanted unique food and ATTC delivered. From their bite sized apps, to braised short ribs, to individual dessert plates, everything was delicious. Brian, the event coordinator, was a dream to work with. He made sure we were 100% happy, answered every single one of my million emails, and help execute the perfect evening. Our Event manager Gina was great and really kept our reception on track. The food was delicious with the exception of the grilled vegetables which were bland, needing more spice!!
Also I had asked for honey with the tea and there was none out . But the audherbs and salmon and chicken and mashed potato bar were great and the passed apple turnovers really delicious.

Meaghan and the team at A Thyme to Cook were so professional and responsive, which was very much appreciated as we live several hours from our wedding locale, but we knew we were in good hands with them. The food was delicious, and it was invaluable to have them managing all the rentals for our DIY wedding. Would definitely recommend ATTC to anyone!

Gina from A Thyme to Cook is amazing. She remembers every detail no matter if you told her a year from your wedding date or a day before the wedding. She is so pleasant to work with and actually miss talking to her now that the wedding is over!

She helped us work within our budget and made sure to give us all of the options both high cost and low cost, and then pointed out areas where we could cut costs to save money while still having the wedding we wanted.

The food was good but that is all that went right. Communication was terrible. I couldn't be more disappointed in their performance. They caused me frustration, stress and worst of all embarrassment at my wedding. They provide you with an event coordinator. We completed our final walk through a week before our wedding and got an email from the owner saying she wanted to speak with us. We spoke two days later and found out that she had fired the coordinator we had worked been working with (5 days before our wedding). She gave us 2 other coordinators and we were told they were confident they would provide us with the wedding we had been working on for over a year and not to worry about anything the day of the wedding...it did not go as promised. My memories are tarnished. They dropped the ball on so many levels, here is the list: At our tasting,"The pastry chef can't come in." After our coordinator was fired, we should have been notified immediately. The ceremony was a wreck. Top priority was to have a seat for everyone, as had been discussed. I walked out, horrified, to see a half-assed job at putting seats out, with my guests standing awkwardly. The ketubah/guest book in the wrong location, as well as the cake, which wasn't even in sight. Our seating chart was broken in their transport. It wasn’t fixed by them nor were we advised, so we could fix it. The beer sign i made was intentionally taken apart at the bottom to lean on the bar. It looked terrible, with hot glue showing from where the bottle caps were were torn of. It should have been discussed with me prior to ruining something I made for my wedding. Special stirrers we brought in for mixed drinks weren't being used. The sweetheart table, which we were told several times would be out of the way, was never moved and thus infringed on the dance floor. One of the beers ran out. I am appalled by Lexie's rudeness, inflexibility and disrespectful attitude towards my photographer. ATTC is sloppy and unprofessional
